I wish we can stay longer but it was cut short due to the excursions 3 hour limit. Do your research on how to get here so you don’t rely on the excursion.

Excellent space for a large group of persons. The fact that food could be brought unto the property is a great benefit. The property has sufficient cabanas, lounge chairs and umbrellas, however the bathroom facilities were not consistently kept cleaned. The depth of the water surprised persons as it is very shallow, even when the rope boundary is passed.

The beach is overcrowded and not family friendly. I have attached true views from the cabanas that are $80 and of the ocean, the dark areas are seaweed patches, the sand goes from 2ft of water to 5 and back again. While the people are friendly and the food local it is just not as described on their site or by the cruise. It you are looking for watered down drinks and overcrowding then you might enjoy this but it is certainly not relaxing. The line to get back to the ship started an hour in to the four hour excursion, I think that speaks for itself.

We were the only ones there at our time of visit which was fine for me as the tour felt more personalized. The property has crocodiles, turtles, snakes, birds etc. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and polite. He did a great job telling us about the animals and the James Bond movie that was shot on location about 50 years ago. All in all a great time. I didn't give them 5 stars only because the place needs a little tlc, especially the entrance but I believe with more visitors they'll be able to do that. We recorded the entire experience. I took my toddler there because she is an animal lover so it was more for her than for us. So she enjoyed seeing the animals and so forth. The tour guys an elderly gentleman did a great job. The place is however ran down and he explained that it was after the hurricane that things took a turn- understandable. But if you’re still engaging customer still try to up keep as best you can I think.

If you are a James Bond fan and you are in Jamaica this is a must see. See the real James Bond island where the running over the alligators stunt was performed by the real life Ross Kananga and not Roger Moore. You will be able to see some alligators that were alive during the filming.

Very nice tour. Site of the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" Will go back again when the bird avery is repaired.

Nice place, educational and good place to include on your holiday outing. Kids enjoyed it and Pepe the monkey was entertaining.

Jamaica Swamp Safari is a thrilling experience if you are an avid animal lover. Lots of crocs, including Sammy B (the largest in Jamaica), also the largest snake in Jamaica, a green Anaconda. There are also monkeys, wild boars, rabbits, birds etc. Some scenes from the 1973 James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" were also filmed here.

A nice lively port with lots of shopping, food, and live music. Good place to just go around and explore. It's very close to the cruise ships - so no long walking trek to get here or back

Stopped here several times on a cruise. This time decided to just walk port area and the town just outside. Nice to get out and explore the area.

Shopping wasn't good, very pricey. Dirty area. Montego Bay tour was nothing more than a continuous donation request. Not really any reason to return to Jamaica

The port place is wonderful. There are free restrooms, shops, pharmacy. When you go outside the port you see the reality 😕

Port of Falmouth is full of life, music, and the warm, friendly spirit of Jamaica. From the moment you step off the ship, you're surrounded by reggae rhythms, colorful shops, and smiling locals. It's a lively place that gives you a real taste of Jamaican culture and energy. A great stop to feel the island vibe, even if just for a short time.

This port was really nice! Definitely one of the nicer ones that we’ve been to. There was a lot of color and personality and it seems to be maintained really well. You also get beautiful views while on your cruise ship! Stunning.

My wife and I were here with Celebrity Equinox. We stayed in the restricted port area, which had all the usual shopping you find on cruises. The place is large, paved (great for our wheelchair) and fun. It was early, but still quite warm. There was one small craft brewery, a larger restaurant with Jamaican fare, and many shops. The people were friendly and not pushy. I would have liked a larger bar to relax in, like Margaritaville or something within the cruise port as we didn’t want to venture into town on our own. We had a fun visit.

You really have to make an effort to get there. I drove myself but unless you have a screw loose like me you should hire a driver. The staff was great! Super friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was really informative and we were able to see the equipment up close and feel the heat. Would recommend the tour 100% Unfortunately there is a however. The price. The cost of the tour was reasonable but the product they offer at the end of the tour was not. The 8yr old rum had good character but left me feeling it needed to be aged significantly longer. In 10 years it would be a stellar rum but it is not there yet. Especially at $65/US ($100/CAN) for 750ml. You can buy better rums that are 4yrs older for half the price. I would recommend the tour but be prepared for a limited selection of wares to purchase at the end

Amazing tour all around and great people. The place was rich with history and to see the production of one of the world’s best rum was fantastic.

We really enjoyed the Hampden Estate Rum tour. The drive out there, not so much! While visiting Jamaica we booked an excursion to the rum distillery. The bus that took us there was nice but the roads were horrible. The distillery itself was steeped in history and very enjoyable. We enjoyed a lunch of jerk chicken and slammed back quite a few rum shots during the tour. The rum fire was so good we bought a bottle to bring home!!

Stephen is an absolute gem! Very knowledgeable and great charisma! Made the tour worth wild! Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide!

We have been to this tour three times now as the estate is not far from the coast and in a beautiful part of the island. The views over the fields are amazing. The road has not got any better 😂 be prepared for a bumpy road trip. On the road from Falmouth do not take the first turning to the right which is shorter, as it’s basically off road! It it had been wet the van may have got stuck. The other road has a lot of potholes, so take it slow. The tour was very well conducted and the staff were fun and friendly. They have a good script that teaches you about their product and the history of the estate and the Product. The rum punch they served was delicious and a good start. The visit inside the factory is very interesting as it is a working factory. It is very warm when you are standing next to the working equipment. There is an opportunity to ask lots of questions. The lunch area was nice and cool with a good breeze. The jerk is very mild and they serve it with a mild sauce. The lunch is a nice break after the very warm tour. More hot sauce was on the table. In the bar area you get to try two rums. The fire rum is a good mixer into a cocktail. The only downside of the tour was the shop, where I had to correct the staff member twice as they had over charged me. Check your maths before going to the till for what you wish to purchase.

We had a shore excursion from Royal Caribbean. A great Air conditioned Bus about an hour ride from the port. A forty-five minute tour of the property. Our Tour guides explained the process of making Rum really well. We tasted over proofed Rum for the first time. It was way too strong for Me, but they did add lime and bitter after to help complete the drink. It was a great experience.

Absolutely amazing experience. The property was beautiful and well taken care of. Good to see historical places being preserved and cared for. Steve was our tour guide and he was excellent, very knowledgeable and an absolute asset to that company. I learned so much that even as a Jamaican I didn't know. Very thorough tour. Every sense was awakened at that place, so many different scents throughout the tour. The Food was good at the end and the rum was 👌🏽. I would definitely recommend and even revisit. The one thing I will say is it wasn't the easiest to find so double check the route Google tells you by asking locals.

I like to see the local culture and local architecture, but this was the first place where I left the port that I actually felt unsafe. Some creep was following us, and then followed us again. I think he had the intention of robbing us, but decided against it when they were two of us. Definitely makes me weary of venturing out of the cruise ports again if not on a tour. Too bad as I’m sure the local town would appreciate tourists and our dollars.

Water square is the center of Falmouth town, its a nice spot to chill and hang out with friends and family. You are surrounded by food and drink vendors also you will see a lot of stores selling electronics

Beautiful Beach, white sand, clean, gazebos present and beautiful people. You can also horseback ride along the water if you wish. This experience is provided by a local man.

Awesome public beach, has some amenities, a working restroom, a gazebo, beautiful beach, locals are free, there is a small chance for tourists but still good for a day out, very clean, volleyball net present, there was beach football being played, parking available, vendors on the outside, good location. You'll enjoy it!

The Luminous Lagoon tour was a really cool experience and definitely something worth seeing. The water actually glows when you move through it, which is wild to witness in person. It’s one of those things you kind of have to see to believe. That being said, the venue itself was pretty average—nothing too special. The staff were friendly and did their best to keep everyone entertained while we waited for the tour to start, but it did feel a bit like they were just filling time. Once we got out on the water, though, it was absolutely worth it. Watching the water light up around us was really unique, and it made for some awesome pictures and memories. If you’re in the area, I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out. It’s not an all-night event, but it’s a very cool and interesting place to visit.

Beautiful sunset. I had had the fried chicken with rice and peas at their restaurant. The fish soup was delicious and it came with my meal. The bread was perfectly warm, for the butter to melt. Before going on the tour, they had some dancers perform on stage. They were very entertaining! We booked the Luminous Lagoon tour and got to see some bioluminescence and even swam in the water! They provide life jackets in case you don’t swim well. Captain Dave was funny and made sure that we all got there and back safely.

The water is shallow, no more than 4 feet, so you can literally stand in it. The captain and crew were very friendly and informative, and life jackets were provided for those who couldn’t swim. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

A very short bus ride away from the RIU Aquarelle and Royalton. I recommend this excursion if you are nearby. We went as a large group, which resulted in having our own boat. We were welcomed with a rum punch and proceeded to watch the sunset as we waited to embark on our boat ride. The captain and crew entertained us with the history and facts of what makes the lagoon luminous, along with their funny stories, jokes, and marital advice. The water is colder than you might expect. On our return we watched the fire show, which was good.

There are only four places in the world where you can do this. We were staying at the Riu Aquarelle and it is 5 minutes from there. So we had to go. Our guides on the boat were awesome and really funny. Don't be cheap, if you enjoy it then tip them. It's just an amazing experience. When we got back off the boat, they had the fire eating show.

Very magical and unique experience close to mobay. Similar to one in Puerto Rico, but with much less travel and bonus fire show. And they take you to out on the boat, so no strenuous activity, either. You absolutely have to wear water shoes for this activity as it's shallow enough for you to walk in this depth. And no, you don't need to know how to swim to go on this excursion.
