Restaurant
Bamboo Beach Club, formerly known as Reggae Beach, is a hidden gem offering a quieter and more authentic Jamaican experience. Nestled in a sandy cove with sea grape trees and rocky outcrops, this venue provides entertainment with dance shows and drumming while serving cocktails and beach dining. The $11 entry fee includes a beach chair rental for the day, allowing visitors to relax in the quarter-mile cove.
Had a fantastic day with my wife and son, accompanied by Lia, our tour guide for the day. Lia took us tubing on the Rio Bueno which was brilliant fun that involved a jump into the river at the halfway point. We then headed to Dunns River Falls which was fun too. After building up a mighty appetite, we were taken to Bamboo beach club which is a nice secluded spot with nice clear waters for swimming. As part of our package we were given a huge meal that included pudding, and had at least two drinks each (alcoholic for my wife and I, juice for our son). We had the option of seeing a cocktail masterclass too. All in all, for the price per person, I'd say it was reasonable for what you get. Ask for Lia to be your guide. She was attentive and went over and above, buying guineps (small Jamaican fruit, like a cross between lychees and mangoes!) because she heard my wife mention how much she loved them! A great day that we'll remember always!

High school group meet up was good. The staff and food was great. The accommodation was spacious and clean. However the rain cut our fun day short. This will be a spot we revisit when in Trelawny.
Cynthia G — Google review
The food was absolutely awful. • The burgers were both raw and burnt. • The supervisor prepared a cocktail that had ants in it. • All three servings of Stamp and Go had raw flour inside. • The Oxtail Pasta also had raw flour and was completely undercooked. • The festival was so overpowered by cornmeal it was hard to enjoy. • The ketchup was spoiled, and when we raised this concern, the manager insisted that ketchup “can’t spoil.” We were greeted with a long list of dos and don’ts, including no smoking, yet a British couple seated beside us was allowed to smoke freely. When our server returned with the supervisor, a lady with a very poor attitude interrupted. I had to ask who she was, and she stated she was the manager Ms Annmarie. Her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, as she blamed her staff instead of addressing our concerns. It was also clear that our server was afraid of her Manager, which was sad to see. The only positive part of this experience was our server, who showed excellent customer service. She was patient, kind, and genuinely tried to make things right, even though it was clear the management did not support her efforts.

Ariya was such a delight. She shared so much intellectual history of Jamaica as well as the vibes. I came with a group of 6 and all of us had a great time!

⭐ 1 out of 5 I was really disappointed with my visit to Bamboo Beach Club. The service was slow and unorganized. The food took forever to come out, and when it finally did, it wasn’t worth the wait — cold and lacking flavor. The beach area could’ve been much cleaner. I expected a much better experience. Definitely not what I was hoping for and I wouldn’t recommend it. All the drinks we asked for wasn't available total waste of time. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Kimberly C — Google review
We had a great time at Bamboo Beach! The beach itself is beautiful—clean, scenic, and perfect for relaxing. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everyone is comfortable and having fun. Even if your package doesn’t include food or drinks, they offer a menu with items available for purchase. The food was tasty and different from the usual American expectations. The chicken tenders, for example, are real pieces of seasoned, breaded chicken—not processed strips—and they’re served with delicious batata fries instead of regular French fries. We also tried the BBQ chicken, which was flavorful and came with rice, coleslaw, and sweet plantains—very satisfying! One of the highlights was the beach show and bartender performance. They did a fun round of shots for everyone and showed off some cool mixology skills. This time, our chaperone from the boat was Sacha, who was friendly and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re visiting Jamaica!

Khaleisha was amazing! She did great on education about Jamaica on our way up! She was on top of her game with serving us and made sure we were okay and comfortable the entire time. We would recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the $$!!

Burwood Public Beach is a hidden gem that offers a delightful escape for both locals and tourists. This beautifully redeveloped beach features soft white sands, making it an ideal spot for sunbathing and relaxation. Families will appreciate the children's play area, while adults can enjoy shady seating options and convenient amenities like showers and restrooms. The beach is known for its serene atmosphere, often less crowded than private resort beaches, allowing visitors to truly unwind.
JMD 750 USD 5 Entry fee for non-residents. JMD 700 for sunbed hire. Lovely beach, white sand and clean. Great for swimming, especially if you have smaller children as the water is pretty shallow. There is a lifeguard, changing rooms are monitored and kept pretty clean. A charming little place, so add it to your activity list when you're in or passing through Trelawny.

Picked up a taxi minibus from the port & this beach club recommended.$20 per person round trip from port, agreed a pick up time & Rose, taxi driver was there as arranged. $10pp entrance including beach chairs & shade. Bucket of 4 beers $20. Free WiFi, clean restrooms, lovely beach, friendly staff, accepts Apple Pay, what more could you ask for!

The club's entrance fee is \$20. It provides a lively atmosphere, high-quality music, and a pristine sandy beach. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. We highly recommend trying the Jersey chicken.

We joined the RC cruise excursion ‘Blue Water Beach Transfer’ and found the staff to be pleasant. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. I wish we can stay longer but it was cut short due to the excursions 3 hour limit. Do your research on how to get here so you don’t rely on the excursion.

10/10 Highly Recommend coming to the Blue Waters Beach Club if you have the opportunity. We came as part of a cruise excursion this past week and it did not disappoint. The locals are amazing to say the least. Everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly. The food and drinks were fabulous. The view and the beach were gorgeous. Photos do not come close to showing the beauty I saw in person. Money well spent and I have no complaints. I did not want to leave and will definitely visit again in the future God willing. I did not take a lot of photos as I wanted to be present and enjoy the day.

Upon arrival, you're a bit skeptical about what you're entering. Then, you step into the hidden gem that is Blue Waters Beach Club. It's absolutely beautiful and the staff are so friendly. The cost of admission is very affordable. They have an assortment of drinks and food on the menu. Our attendant, Marj, was so pleasant to speak with and to order from. They accept cash, credit, and debit. It's definitely a 5 out of 5 for this piece of heaven.
K. W — Google review
Excellent space for a large group of persons. The fact that food could be brought unto the property is a great benefit. The property has sufficient cabanas, lounge chairs and umbrellas, however the bathroom facilities were not consistently kept cleaned. The depth of the water surprised persons as it is very shallow, even when the rope boundary is passed.
Abigail W — Google review
Traveled here from RC cruise excursion with my family last week. I would recommend filtering and looking at the photos and reviews as the negative ones are spot on. The beach is overcrowded and not family friendly. I have attached true views from the cabanas that are $80 and of the ocean, the dark areas are seaweed patches, the sand goes from 2ft of water to 5 and back again. While the people are friendly and the food local it is just not as described on their site or by the cruise. It you are looking for watered down drinks and overcrowding then you might enjoy this but it is certainly not relaxing. The line to get back to the ship started an hour in to the four hour excursion, I think that speaks for itself.
Rebecca Y — Google review
Blue Water Beach in Jamaica is absolutely amazing! 🏖️ The pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters are like something out of a dream. 😍🌊 You'll feel like you're in a tropical paradise. The beach is well-kept, and the surrounding greenery is lush and beautiful. 🌴🌺 You can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling to your heart's content. 🏊‍♂️🌞 And don't forget to try the mouthwatering jerk chicken and sip on fresh coconut water from local vendors. 🍗🥥 The only downside is that it can get a bit crowded during peak tourist seasons, but the sheer beauty of the place more than makes up for it. Whether you're travelling solo or with family, Blue Water Beach is a must-visit destination for a taste of Caribbean paradise. 🌞🌴🏄‍♀️

Luminous Lagoon Glistening Waters is a must-visit in Jamaica, offering boat and swimming tours in a bioluminescent bay with a rich history tied to the Jamaican sugar trade. The glowing waters are caused by microorganisms called dinoflagellates, creating a rare and mesmerizing natural phenomenon where the Martha Brae river meets the ocean.
Really wonder place to visit, you are given a warm welcome upon arrival. You are offered welcome drinks and have the opportunity to choose between rum punch or fruit punch for those who don’t drink alcoholic beverages. The boarding process is easy, you are given a safety jacket, you learn about lagoon and what makes it glow. You get the chance to swim and take pictures which are absolutely beautiful.
Truly S — Google review
The Luminous Lagoon tour was a really cool experience and definitely something worth seeing. The water actually glows when you move through it, which is wild to witness in person. It’s one of those things you kind of have to see to believe. That being said, the venue itself was pretty average—nothing too special. The staff were friendly and did their best to keep everyone entertained while we waited for the tour to start, but it did feel a bit like they were just filling time. Once we got out on the water, though, it was absolutely worth it. Watching the water light up around us was really unique, and it made for some awesome pictures and memories. If you’re in the area, I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out. It’s not an all-night event, but it’s a very cool and interesting place to visit.
Subilak K — Google review
Beautiful sunset. I had had the fried chicken with rice and peas at their restaurant. The fish soup was delicious and it came with my meal. The bread was perfectly warm, for the butter to melt. Before going on the tour, they had some dancers perform on stage. They were very entertaining! We booked the Luminous Lagoon tour and got to see some bioluminescence and even swam in the water! They provide life jackets in case you don’t swim well. Captain Dave was funny and made sure that we all got there and back safely.
Reinelle A — Google review
The water actually glows when you move through it, which is amazing to witness in person. Before visiting, I’d heard stories about it, but experiencing it firsthand was almost surreal. The venue itself was okay—nothing fancy or special. The staff did their best to keep us entertained with a dance show while we waited for the boat. Once we got out on the water, though, the wait was absolutely worth it. Watching the lagoon light up around us as we swam was incredible! The water is shallow, no more than 4 feet, so you can literally stand in it. The captain and crew were very friendly and informative, and life jackets were provided for those who couldn’t swim. If you’re in the area, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
Edwin A — Google review
A very short bus ride away from the RIU Aquarelle and Royalton. I recommend this excursion if you are nearby. We went as a large group, which resulted in having our own boat. We were welcomed with a rum punch and proceeded to watch the sunset as we waited to embark on our boat ride. The captain and crew entertained us with the history and facts of what makes the lagoon luminous, along with their funny stories, jokes, and marital advice. The water is colder than you might expect. On our return we watched the fire show, which was good.
Tony M — Google review
There are only four places in the world where you can do this. We were staying at the Riu Aquarelle and it is 5 minutes from there. So we had to go. Our guides on the boat were awesome and really funny. Don't be cheap, if you enjoy it then tip them. It's just an amazing experience. When we got back off the boat, they had the fire eating show.
James J — Google review
Very magical and unique experience close to mobay. Similar to one in Puerto Rico, but with much less travel and bonus fire show. And they take you to out on the boat, so no strenuous activity, either. You absolutely have to wear water shoes for this activity as it's shallow enough for you to walk in this depth. And no, you don't need to know how to swim to go on this excursion.
Lana D — Google review
Absolutely worth it! So excited I finally got to see the bioluminescent algae, and actually swim in it. Included is a free drink and a fire show before the boat goes out. I'm glad I bought my ticket directly and got my own transportation from the hotel, instead of going through a tour group... So much cheaper. Also, yes you're going to wait until it gets dark. For us that was over an hour--it depends on what time you get there. But either way it was still worth it

When you find yourself in Falmouth, make sure to explore the charming Water Square, a historic site that dates back to 1798. This square is home to a stone reservoir that once provided running water to Jamaica before it reached New York City! As you stroll through this vibrant area, you'll be captivated by its colonial architecture and lively atmosphere. Although the fountain is currently undergoing renovations, there's still plenty of excitement around Water Square with shops and local eateries nearby.

I like to see the local culture and local architecture, but this was the first place where I left the port that I actually felt unsafe. Some creep was following us, and then followed us again. I think he had the intention of robbing us, but decided against it when they were two of us. Definitely makes me weary of venturing out of the cruise ports again if not on a tour. Too bad as I’m sure the local town would appreciate tourists and our dollars.

Pepper's Jerk Center is a renowned restaurant in Falmouth, Jamaica, known for its authentic Jamaican jerked chicken and pork. The dishes are perfectly spiced, crispy, and bursting with flavor. It is highly praised by visitors and ranks among the top ten restaurants in Falmouth on TripAdvisor. As a port town, Falmouth offers creative seafood dishes like lobster stew and grilled salt-fish.
Our family of 7 ate here a couple of weeks ago and it was great. Someone we had met recommended it. The food was amazing. My son ordered the fried fish, whole fish btw. He loved it. And we also ordered the BBQ wings, these were amazing! We also had the jerk chicken and rice and a pasta dish. We were not disappointed in anything.

We walked over from the cruise ship. The service was great and the food was great! It was a bit pricey for the amount of food I got but it was worth it for the experience. Our name is Peppers so we just HAD to go eat there. Smiles!

Visited the one In Montego Bay the service is excellent but the oxtail we paid $28 for was pricey and they weren’t tender, think they raise the pricea for tourists, it was a very small portion I was so disappointed this restaurant was recommended and back home it’s cheaper and tender!!!
Angela K — Google review
This place is expensive, paid $25 for oxtails which is outrageous and the portion size was small. It took well over an hour to get our food but I will say it was good. They offered karaoke which was fun. I’d look for food elsewhere. If you want cheaper jerk chicken, try Pork Pit — It was delicious!!
Nicole P — Google review
Tourist restaurant ,within walking distance of the cruise terminal. the food is ok but very expensive think Manhattan not third world. Two frozen drinks and two sodas $44. I there were no locals except those that were paid guides I think that there is a large kickback to the guides as a table with no guide paid 20 for jerk chicken , a beer and a soda. The location seemed safe

Rock Wharf Luminous Lagoon is a stunning natural wonder in Jamaica, known for its mesmerizing glow caused by tiny organisms called Pyridium bahamense. These unicellular dinoflagellates emit a radiant light when the water is disturbed, creating a magical spectacle after dark. The lagoon offers guided tours through Glistening Waters Restaurant & Marina and Fisherman's Inn, allowing visitors to witness this enchanting phenomenon up close.
This was a great experience. The water is warm, seriously not cold at all and obviously went in at night around 830/9pm. It was lovely. My phone couldn't capture the cool blue glow but the memories, adventure, and feeling was so amazing. Definitely a unique experience. You feel like Doctor Manhattan
Leo R — Google review
This is a very fun and unique excursion. It's 1 of 4 year round bioluminescent lagoons in the world! The lagoon itself is only about 6ft deep. The river and the ocean meet in this lagoon and you can feel the mixing of fresh and saltwater as you swim around. As soon as the boats start moving you can see the bioluminescent, it looks like a blue highlighter is around everything that moves. Definitely recommend to experience it in person, the pictures won't truly capture this amazing natural phenomenon. The tour guides and locals at the dock were very friendly and knowledgeable. You're out in the lagoon for about an hour and it's worth the trip.

Most Magical experience of our Trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲. When we first took off, you could see the boats, " other fellow tourists." I thought the boats had lights on the bottom & is what made the water glow. I WAS WRONG. Your guide will explain that you have to Disturb the water to make the Algae light up. Out of 4 places in the world, this one spot that will glow All Year Around.!!! As long as the weather will allow it. Asked what does it look like on the rain.? The entire area glows for 10 - 15 minutes before the water gets cool enough the algae drops to warmer water.! #amustseeforyourself #adventureillneverforget

The water was crazy it was hard to get good pictures so you’ll just have to see for yourself. They ended our tour with a fire performance which was also amazing.

Jamaica Swamp Safari, known for its appearance in the James Bond movie 'Live and Let Die,' offers an exciting tour featuring crocodiles, gray foxes, tayras, agoutis, spotted pacas, snakes (including an 18ft. green Anaconda), and Caribbean raccoons. Visitors can also enjoy authentic Jamaican jerk chicken or pork at Scotches after the tour.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Our tour guide was the best of the BEST! She was very informative! My husband and I were able to join a field trip group which filled up my teacher heart with joy. She was a BOSS! Because of her, I was able to get over my fear and hold a snake! Such a great experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially if you love nature!

It was very peaceful. Had a relaxing & tranquil time. Fed the birds, held a snake. The ambiance was just so refreshing on the Sunday I went. No crowd, which I like and our tour guide was wonderful, don’t remember his name. Would dedicate go back again

We were here over the new year holidays and pretty much had the entire place to ourselves, not sure why. The crocodiles are impressive and it is hard to imagine James Bond actually running in the midst of them on James Bond island. There is a great zoo and a super-friendly ranger let us play with baby crocodiles and hold them. A serene place and a great escape from the manufactured tourism entertainment of resorts and cruise ships whichever one you are coming from!
Vagabond C — Google review
I think its run down (no one was there only us), not much ppl visit also not a variety of animal , but my 9 year old had a great time because he got to hold a snake , a small crocodile and got to feed pigeons and ducks

Short drive from the Falmouth Port where our cruise ship docked. We were the only folks there and our private tour was fantastic. It lasted about an hour. Our guide was very friendly and taught us a great deal. This is a small establishment- don’t go expecting a full size zoo- but its small size adds to the charm- you are really quite close to the animals. Watching them feed the crocs with meat dangling from a pole was fun and exciting. Go and enjoy it.

Great for kids and school trips too it was exciting to meet the 🐊 from. The James bond movie and actually saw where parts of the movie was flim it was an amazing tour. Please make sure you take a repellent for your skin as mosquitos are there.

Just an awesome place to see animals we dont normally get close to in a fairly natural habitat. I leatned a lot about crocodiles and their ecosystem. The jungle is something everone should experience just in order to get out of their comfort zone. Of course standing where James Bond's "Live and let die" was shot is incredible as well. If you don't mind animals that give you the willies I definitely recommend an excursion if you find yourself in Northern Jamaica!

We were the only ones there at our time of visit which was fine for me as the tour felt more personalized. The property has crocodiles, turtles, snakes, birds etc. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and polite. He did a great job telling us about the animals and the James Bond movie that was shot on location about 50 years ago. All in all a great time. I didn't give them 5 stars only because the place needs a little tlc, especially the entrance but I believe with more visitors they'll be able to do that. We recorded the entire experience. I took my toddler there because she is an animal lover so it was more for her than for us. So she enjoyed seeing the animals and so forth. The tour guys an elderly gentleman did a great job. The place is however ran down and he explained that it was after the hurricane that things took a turn- understandable. But if you’re still engaging customer still try to up keep as best you can I think.

If you are a James Bond fan and you are in Jamaica this is a must see. See the real James Bond island where the running over the alligators stunt was performed by the real life Ross Kananga and not Roger Moore. You will be able to see some alligators that were alive during the filming.

A great place to see Jamaican crocodiles in their natural habitat. A few scenes from the James Bond 007 movie Live and Let Die was filmed here.

Nice place, educational and good place to include on your holiday outing. Kids enjoyed it and Pepe the monkey was entertaining.

Jamaica Swamp Safari is a thrilling experience if you are an avid animal lover. Lots of crocs, including Sammy B (the largest in Jamaica), also the largest snake in Jamaica, a green Anaconda. There are also monkeys, wild boars, rabbits, birds etc. Some scenes from the 1973 James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" were also filmed here.

As night falls, these plankton cause the water to glow, illuminating the lagoon and any marine life within it. Falmouth Cruise Port Transportation Jamaica

Transportation service
Falmouth Cruise Port in Jamaica underwent a major redevelopment in 2011 and is now known as the Historic Falmouth Cruise Port. The port features a large retail shopping complex with two piers at an angle, creating a pleasant ambiance with shaded arcades, numerous shops, dining options, and attractions like Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Visitors can also arrange transportation services for excursions to nearby attractions such as the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios through companies like Explorer Jamaica Transportation.
Falmouth cruise port transportation was wonderful. Our driver Ricardo was always prompt and ready to take us to all of our excursions. He was very welcoming and informative and made our travel around Jamaica easy and comfortable.

Getting back to normal after an amazing family vacation. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional service your Explorer Jamaica Transportation provided during our recent family vacation. Coordinating airport transfers, private catamaran cruises, ATV tours, a memorable dolphin swim, and even stopping for local snacks and provisions for a group of 13 travelers spanning three generations is no small feat, yet your team exceeded all of our expectations. From the very beginning, your team demonstrated a remarkable commitment to safety and professionalism. Our airport transfers were flawlessly executed, with drivers who were not only punctual but also incredibly skilled, ensuring that our journeys were smooth and secure. This attention to detail set the tone for an stress-free vacation. The private catamaran tour was a true highlight of our trip. The crew’s dedication to safety, combined with their warm hospitality, allowed us to fully enjoy the stunning views and serene waters. Every member of our family felt safe, relaxed, and thoroughly taken care of, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The ATV tour was another thrilling adventure. The guides did an outstanding job of balancing excitement with safety, ensuring that each of us, regardless of our experience level, felt confident and secure throughout the excursion. Their professionalism and enthusiasm made this an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Swimming with dolphins was an absolute joy and undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of our trip. The staff’s expertise and attention to safety allowed us to fully embrace the magic of interacting with these incredible creatures, creating priceless memories, especially for the younger members of our family. We also appreciated the thoughtful stops for local snacks and needed provisions along the way. These stops added an extra layer of comfort and enjoyment to our trip, allowing us to experience the local culture and ensuring that we were always well-prepared and refreshed. Your team’s flexibility and consideration in accommodating these requests made us feel truly valued. The team’s dedication to providing safe, timely, and professional service turned what could have been a logistical challenge into a seamless and joyful experience. Their efforts allowed us to focus on what truly mattered: spending quality time together and creating lifelong memories. I extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved. Their hard work and attention to detail transformed our family vacation into an extraordinary experience that we will always treasure. Thank you once again for leading such an exceptional team.

If you're headed to Jamaica contact Densil with this company and they will absolutely take care of you! Dwayne our guide was awesome and extremely knowledgeable about the country. We had great conversations and he was very kind, respectful and funny! We came into the Falmouth port on Royal Carribbean and took the excursion to the blue hole in Ocho Rios and it was fantastic. The blue hole is beautiful! It's a hidden treasure in the middle of the jungle. Make sure to bring water shoes and towels. Have fun!!

Best decision we made was to contact Explorer Jamaica prior to our trip. Damian - our driver waited for us with our name on the sign in front of airport and it felt like a longtime friend - his warm personality welcomed us in Jamaica, and took us to our hotel. He also picked us up for our Night cruise in Falmouth to tour the Luminous lagoon - totally recommend, and at the end of our vacation he took us back to the airport. He told us a lot about Jamaica and we had a great time, highly recommend to use their services. Pay for everything upfront on credit card, but take singles for tips. This is the way to travel in Jamaica. Thank you!

We used Explorer Jamaica for transport from MBJ airport to Bahia Principe resort and back. Drivers were Leon and Delano. Arrived on time. Vehicles were clean and drive felt safe. Paid $80 plus tip each way for about an hour ride. Be aware that if you pay credit card deposit of one way fare you are expected to pay cash to driver for return trip- he can’t take credit cards, something we were not expecting. I recommend paying for both trips when making reservations. We would use them again.

I recently did a solo trip to Jamaica and Explorer jamaica was perfect for me because of the time frame I had and how I was able to customize my trip. I opted for a day tour to Port Antonio from montego bay. It was about a 12 hour day due to its fair location and it was the best experience. I love road trips so I enjoyed the long driving getting to see many of the parts of Jamaica along with doing all the activities I wanted to do. Densil was great at communicating for my trip promptly, answering all my questions, and being so flexible when I needed to change the day of my tour due to schedule changes. Rick was my tour guide and had such a great time. I was traveling solo so it felt like I was traveling with a friend instead of a tour guide. Had so much fun and everything went so smoothly. I highly recommend them. I will definitely book with them the next time I'm in jamaica!

Where should I begin? DENSIL is an amazing person with excellent customer service. Most of the coordination was completed while he was in the USA, which was really impressive. He was able to coordinate a smooth transaction even while being in the USA. We booked his services as a personal chauffeur, because we tend not to rent cars while on vacation. It was the smartest decision because everything went extremely well. His drivers were PUNCTUAL, they arrived 30mins to an hour before your schedule pick up time. LEON (one of the drivers), has an amazing personality and excellent customer service. I felt like he was someone I’ve known for years. Anytime I visit Jamaica I’ll only use their services.

Explorer Jamaica Transportation / MBT Transport was the best! They picked up our family of 11 at various times at the airport- took us from Montago Bay to Negril and Ochos Rios, and the cruise line terminals. They were always on time, and drove safely. They were economical as well. They made our vacation run smoothly.

Margaritaville Falmouth is a fantastic spot located in the port area of Jamaica. It's a part of the restricted cruise terminal, ensuring safety for visitors. The place offers great food and drinks, with options like pulled pork and delicious margaritas. The pool is a major highlight, providing a fun and relaxing experience. Additionally, there are opportunities for shopping at various shops within the vicinity.
This was a great place to hang out in the port area. The food and the drink were great. The included pool made it definitely worth the money and time. This was my first time to any margaritaville and the have gained a fan. I had the pulled pork and it was great. I also had a few margaritas and the were also good. If you are not down for a full on excursion in Falmouth I highly recommend hanging around the port and visiting Margaritaville.

So we get to the port and we get off the ship, do a little shopping at the port then get to Margaritaville. The waitress Lisa is very nice. She gives us a great seat but it was all downhill after that. No wings, pork products, certain appetizers not available. Other items on the menu are not available. Ginger Ale is all gone, then we ordered chicken quesadilla, lava shrimp, turkey club, blackened chicken sandwich, jerk chicken and pasta with chicken. The waitress comes back after our first appetizer is delivered and tells us that they don't have turkey so they will substitute ham. Then our food comes out but no turkey club. Excuse me I mean ham, then our second appetizer finally shows up but still no ham club, then the waitress comes back and says the ham is bad so nothing for my son to eat. Finally, the manager comes over and apologizes. We did get a 12.00 discount because they did not have the turkey club. The food and the service were okay but the lack of other items, the excuses and forgetting food not really acceptable when you're paying that kind of money. Then when we didn't buy alcohol it was a matter of how fast they could get us out. Jimmy Buffett should be ashamed of his company and employees. If you're out of food and don't have anything because other ships cleaned you out then you should tell the next people you're out before they sit down and eat! Cruiser beware!!! There is no burger in paradise at Margaritaville.

Very nice, neat, and well taken care place. It is specially designed to cater tourists, so you will find plenty trinkets to buy, and alcohol, cigars and the like. If you go there, visit Karina’s shop. The owner is awesome, and will give you a good deal. We’ll certainly come back.

This was a great Margaritaville! Loved the food and drinks! The store was good too! The pool was free. Large pool with a waterfall that you could swim under and a margarita glass hot tub.

This Margaritaville is an incredible place in Jamaica. Super fun spot to eat. It is part of the restricted cruise terminal, so it's safe. The pool was super nice and fun. Free wifi. Nice relaxing day. The service was a little slow but everything was great. Amazing margaritas and delicious food. Every time I'm in Margaritaville I'm ordering Blackened Mini Shrimp Tacos and Lava Lava Shrimp. By far are the best!

This is part of the restricted cruise port, so only people getting off a ship can use it. The pool was nice, the staff attentive. We were the only ship in port at the time so it was not that crowded. The staff had games and taught dance moves to the guests, made sure people felt included. Free wifi. Nice relaxing day!

The food was okay. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t that great either. The drinks were the best things on the menu I highly recommend them. The wait time for food was horrible and it wasn’t that busy. I never saw my waitress again after she took my order I had to go to the counter to close out my tab because she never came back and no one else came over to check on me. If you go here sit at the bar and order drinks you can definitely pass on the food. However, if you do want food make sure to ask if there’s anything they don’t have on the menu because they’ll be out of several things and won’t tell you until you order.

Stopped here on our cruise on Harmony of the Seas. Decided to just hangout in Port that day. With the food, drink and pool area it was a perfect fit for us. Food was really good, drinks really strong and pool area a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back Could someone please let me know the ingredients in the electric lemonade. Only thing I didn't do was take a picture of the menu 😂

Fast food restaurant
KFC is a popular restaurant chain celebrated for its signature buckets of fried chicken, as well as combo meals and various sides. Many patrons find the drive-through experience more convenient than waiting in line. However, some have noted that the fries can be cold and lacking in flavor, while the spicy chicken may not always live up to its name, tasting like it has simply been reheated.
Chicken was delicious I got the family meal that came with a variety of chicken. Original crispy and bbq. The wait times can be crazy. The best time to go is when they open to try to beat the long wait.
Brenton B — Google review
Workers don’t have a care in the world. They move like sloths, you can have one person giving out food T the front while three or four people manning the drive through. When ther was little wait in the line and then o had to wait 1 hr there has to be a revamp on the service. Only two options for drinks and that wasn’t divulges when ordering. Get it together!!!

I’m not sure what the problem with their customer service but it’s horrible. If we all stop supporting them they won’t be able to make that $93 a week anymore. Step it up! This country thrives off of tourism & this has to be the worst place that I’ve been to where we are treated poorly. If you don’t like your job, don’t apply to work there. SIMPLE MATH!
Bella M — Google review
Table was dirty. Rest-room floor was wet. I ordered two 2 piece meals with thigh. One turned out to be leg and rib. Waited about 20 minutes to receive the food though there was not a long line ahead of me.
Dirty H — Google review
Well! Believe the overwhelming negative reviews. They are Rude, inefficient (very slow, prepare for a lengthy wait), and the food is not up to par with the Jamaican culture. Your order will be wrong, cold, flavorless and an overall disappointment. I read the reviews and tried to not believe but they are indeed true and worse than mentioned. Jamaican can and should do better seriously!!
Craig D — Google review
On the door, it says 10am to open. 10:15am before the security open the door and they were all inside sitting, eating, and chatting. Not 1 person came out to say we will open soon or to acknowledge us that they are running late. There was a line of about 10 customers waiting outside. When we finally got inside, only limited items were available. I ordered 2 buckets of chicken, upon checkout the rude cashier MABLE grumbled if my card was tap or insert. I only heard the last part of what she said and she proceeded with attitude so I told her I didn’t hear what she had said. She was carrying on…. I have never seen so much people with poor customer service working at an establishment. The customer is paying and you’re arguing to collect the payment?
Annetha V — Google review
Took me 30 minutes in total 10 to order and 20 minutes of waiting am a patient person when it comes to food so I have no problems
Josh_ P — Google review
Prepare to be astonished by the shocking truth about this KFC location. In all my years of dining out, I have rarely encountered such an abysmal establishment. Now, I'm not one to fuss over food service restaurants, but this particular location has managed to push me to my limits. Brace yourself for a tale of epic disappointment. Picture this: I find myself stuck in the drive-through, eagerly anticipating a quick and satisfying meal. Little did I know that I would embark on an agonizing journey lasting an entire episode of the captivating series "The Lincoln Lawyer" on Netflix. Yes, you read that right. I was trapped in that never-ending drive-through line, contemplating the mysteries of legal drama while my hunger grew increasingly unbearable. It was a test of my patience unlike any other. And that's not the only bone I have to pick with this establishment. I have some sage advice for the owner—when it comes to selling items, honesty is key. It's disheartening to witness the blatant false advertising on the menu. Every time I visit, my eyes are tantalized by the delectable offerings of Krispers, popcorn chicken, and the tantalizing BBQ zinger. Yet, time after time, day after day, they prove to be nothing more than tantalizing illusions. It's as if the universe conspires against my taste buds, denying me the pleasure of these promised delights. So here's a simple suggestion: if you don't intend to sell it, don't advertise it. It's a matter of integrity and consideration for your customers' hopes and cravings. Believe me when I say that this is not a mere rant, but a heartfelt warning to fellow food enthusiasts. Beware of this KFC location and its multitude of shortcomings. I implore you to seek out greener pastures, where customer satisfaction and honesty prevail. Spare yourself the agony of wasted time and unfulfilled cravings. Your taste buds deserve better.
