The tasting was phenomenal! Our guide spoke English, so no language barrier there, and really explained in depth all the history, use and production of cocoa and then chocolate. Really nice atmosphere, could move there😂
There is not much to see, but the info session is very good, although they offered only French version. We were using Google live translation and it worked quite well. A lot of information about cacao and the degustation.
Nice museum. There are English tours on Wednesdays and Fridays. You can book on the website. We enjoyed the story of the cacao and than the tasting too. The program is 1 and a half hour long. On Sundays and Mondays they are closed. There is a shop as well.
Loved the experience however the first 30min in the park are long especially there are no bench and it is hot. The second part of the tour is great ! good learning and tasting
I'm writing this with genuine sadness. Before booking, we emailed asking if we could use translation tools since we don't speak French. Their response was completely off-topic - they wrote "Sorry but we don't have any proposition for using a camera translator..." which didn't answer our question at all. We were asking if we could use OUR OWN translator, not if they provide one. Five minutes into the tour, the guide stopped to tell us we couldn't use Google Translate. There's no signage anywhere stating this rule. I watched my nice and nephew excitement fade as they realized they couldn't understand anything being said. We sat through 45 minutes of a lecture in a language we don't know, unable to participate in the experience they'd been looking forward to. When I tried to share feedback afterward - not angry, just hoping they'd understand - the staff member was completely dismissive. No acknowledgment that we'd paid for an experience the children couldn't access. This policy raises serious questions about consumer rights and accessibility. In 2025, actively preventing visitors from using translation tools is the opposite of inclusivity.
This was a hidden treasure on our trip! On our first full day, the weather was iffy with on and off showers. We were driving by and decided to stop, if for nothing else, to purchase a few items to bring home. We coincidentally arrived at the start of the English tasting of the day, so decided to pay and stay. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The guide was extremely interesting and it was almost like being at a wine tasting, for chocolate! We learned so much about the process and got to taste the steps along the way.....and tour the grounds and see the cocoa pods growing! The little gift shop had delicious and amazing products you can't get anywhere else, and the staff could not be nicer. Do NOT miss this stop on your vacation!
Great experience, very knowledgeable and courteous guide. She explained everything for us in English and was very personable. I was on crutches when visiting and she brought me a chair for the presentation. Yes, you must pay for the demonstration but the tastings along the entire process is more than what you pay. Please look at the pictures posted, you taste everything pictured plus additional many exceptional chocolates/cocoa and rum!! We thoroughly enjoyed this visit!
Self guided 30min tour of garden with education on chocolate history and process in English and French, then 45min tasting in French only. 8 euro/pp. Tues-Sat, 10-1:30, 2:30-4. No booking needed. Can purchase chocolate on site. Fun and get to try a lot of chocolate and hot chocolate!

Visited Nautica for a 'baptism' dive (20 minutes dive, max 6 meters deep), which is actually the best way to understand if diving is 'your thing' or not. The team was very good and we enjoyed the experience. Now looking forward to getting our first star classes when back home :)
I had to insist THREE times to get a second regulator, recommended by good practices, and was heavily belittled by the instructor for asking for it in front of the group. Instructor used the dive for a class of safety dive with another student on top of guiding our group of 3 and spent more time dealing with this and just doing his own dive rather than focusing on our experience, not showing us wildlife and watching other divers’ safety. Had to switch my regulator for the second one at the beginning of the dive because it was whistling extremely loudly. That would have ruined my dive to listen to this. Good thing I insisted for the usual equipment that good diving practices recommend and instructor didn’t want to give. Many masks to borrow were dirty with grease or im not sure what that brown substance covering the glass inside was, I hope it was just grease. All the other clubs I went to over the years in Guadeloupe were great, not sure what the deal is with Nautica Plongée Caraïbes.
Great place for all levels. Eric has a very professional and friendly team. Smaller setting than the other sites around. Highly recommend.
(Translated by Google) A superb experience for my whole family, whether PMT or scuba diving, Maxime is truly a fantastic instructor whatever the level, beginner or advanced, the dives are done with joy and good humor and the sites that he introduced us to are enchanting. (Translated by Google) I can fully recommend this diving center. Equipment top. Diving spots are great and the Divemaster Max (Maxime) is sensational! I have rarely seen such a cool, nice and relaxed diving instructor. My daughter did the PADI OWD there and had a lot of fun diving thanks to Max. Nothing can happen to Aquaman (if Max is at the helm of his boat, you'll understand this hint) 😉 Dear Max, Thanks 1000 for everything! Best regards Hans P. S. And thanks to you too, Sina, for the great moments! (Translated by Google) I obtained my Advanced Open Water PADI thanks to Nautica and highly recommend it to all divers, beginners or experienced, who wish to enjoy a friendly and serious atmosphere. Thanks to Max (PADI instructor) who was particularly attentive and attentive, dispelling the slightest apprehension, especially before the dive to 30m. Eric, as manager, is very available and ensures optimal safety and the acquisition of good reflexes with the equipment. Superb dives, with exceptional and very diverse underwater fauna and flora (turtles, barracudas, trevally, lobsters, anemones, etc.). Max guides us with passion, revealing hidden treasures of the reef's microfauna. The family and relaxed atmosphere of the club encourages exchanges and conviviality with other divers. In short, a top diving experience, all at excellent value for money. Go for it! My kids favorite waterfall we visited! My kids are 13,12, and 8. The older two loves climbing to the very top cliff and jumping into the waterfall. There is a way to do climb to the top on the side with two trees but it isn’t easy and you need to use one of the trees to get up. The 8 year old loves jumping off the smaller cliffs. There are no rocks in the water and it is deep. It is very beautiful!! It is busy though especially in the afternoon. The hike is not long but it is steep in places so it would be difficult for elderly and families with young children. The rocks also are VERY slick in places and it is easy to fall.
Awesome place to do if you visit Guadeloupe islands. The walk is not that long to reach the 1st waterfall. Surprisingly the water temperature is hotter that I would expect honestly. That’s a MUST DO if you come to the city of Pointe-Noire.
Best waterfall in Guadeloupe! A truly magical place to visit and swim. The way down is very steep at times but totally manageable. It only takes 13 minutes to reach the bottom (we timed it!), and then there's some climbing over rocks to get to the basin. The way back up the steep trail is easier than the way down. We are 2 out-of-shape Americans (age 53 and 35) and a 12 year old, and we had no trouble at at, even carrying a cooler bag. Just take your time on the more sketchy parts. The roots and rocks act as a ladder!
Very crowded. Rock scramble all the way there, probably really dangerous after rain. The waterfall pool is very deep and murky. Scary, but also fun.
Beautiful waterfall. Approximately a 10-minute walk.
Narrow approach road, little parking, steep decent, too crowded when we visited
Very short path, you need less than 10 minutes to reach the waterfall. Nice place for a quick swim in cold water. Be careful when it rains as the path becomes muddy and slippery. The place can easily become crowded during good weather.
Really cool place, very quick walk, just off the main road, nice fresh little swim. I recommend a quick visit

Had a great little snorkeling trip with Adelaide. Very good, well maintained and powerful rib. Saw several large green turtles feeding. Told off for diving down near to them as apparently that scares them as they think you are a predator. Similarly, if you fin flap over them or move towards them when they come up to breathe, which is obvious, but I saw lots of unguided snorkelers doing it. Sadly the Cousteau reserve is not in a good condition. Partly because of the sheer numbers of tourists, but also because of the pollution and soil degradation and run off. You can see where the corals have been damaged by fins. There should be some kind of reserve ranger force protecting and educating, paid for by a tourist tax for anyone staying in the area. Similarly for all the boats that moor up - it seems strange that they can moor for free. I saw too many anchor drag lines that had torn up the sea grass beds... the very thing that lures the turtles and feeds them! God, we humans are a nightmare!
We took the free diving class for two days with Antoine and Sebastian. Not only did we learn breath and depth techniques, but it was a beginning of new friendship. Antoine is very knowledgeable, kind, loves what he does and does it for the passion. Highly recommended.
We sadly were unable to do our snorkelling excursion due to bad weather, but I wanted to give a positive review anyway because Sebastian was so friendly and helpful. We couldn’t make our diary match with theirs to rearrange our excursion before the end of our holiday, so he kindly recommended another local dive school which was excellent (we did manage a successful outing in the end!). He also gave us some great tips about good places to go snorkelling in the local area. If we were back in the area I would not hesitate to book a trip with Anbadlola
Exceptional, with Katy, a highly experienced instructor, who has a great wealth of knowledge on local fauna and flora but can also explain macro and micro implications of human interventions. Also great with beginners within our group and can adapt to different expectations.
We've never used their services, but they come several times a day next to our boat anchored at Plage Malendure. We can hear the young lady give the instructions of wildlife respectful diving practices. She dive with her clients every single time, give explanations at the surface about what they are seeing. It really looks like an amazing company!
Best experience of snorkeling ever, beautiful spots, a lot of biodiversity and stories. Most of all Sebastien is a great guide, capable of teaching the respect that this kind of ecosystem deserves!
Great trip with Benoit. All equipment is provided and he gave clear demonstrations - good because we don't speak French. You can leave your valuables in the locked building. Mask, tube, wetsuit and flippers all sized and tried before you leave. Only 7 people on our trip. They have a maximum of 10. Benoit towed two small inflatables in the water, so anyone who needed a rest, or who wasn't great at snorkelling, could have rest at any time. Gave full descriptions of the water, the currents, rock and coral formations, and a waterproof card in colour showing images of the fish we could encounter. Pigeon Islands were great with big variety of fish and bed formations. Then we went Malendure where we saw one turtle. Well worth the money and a great experience.
Sebastian is an amazing instructor. Cares about your health and gives a lot of information about the sealife.

So fun! The kids loved it. Pirates, playground, a treehouse, a winding path through an arboretum...I wish it had a lunch spot. The place across the street only had a very limited menu.
Very quiet place with interesting and various exhibitions. The bikes suspended in the trees is a must. Only disappointment : we saw only 3 butterflies in the greenhouse.
Something for everyone, including children. When I was there the lights were out in some rooms, so it seems I missed out. The Creole house is very nice. The butterfly enclosure needs many more butterflies.
(Translated by Google) We arrived when it was starting to rain, unfortunately no one at reception advised us to come back another time to take advantage of what little this site has to offer (and yet it has potential) despite the price of the tickets. My kids weren't able to enjoy the few games available, what a shame for them... The mini pirate museum smelled musty, the room of toys/wooden objects is very poorly maintained. No interest, too bad. No butterflies, few orchids and no flying bike either despite what some poorly informed websites write. At the end of the visit I kindly asked if we could come back another day when the weather was nicer (as some museums or sites do) and the response was really unpleasant (Kon si nou té ka deranjé éssi yo té pé trop' moun té vin '). I couldn't resist recording the end of the conversation... it was so unpleasant and at a certain point the girl at reception had become so hostile and aggressive that my family (there were 8 of us) preferred to leave and let her… moreover pa tu mwen an pa zanmy aw… malelivé. Very very disappointing.
(Translated by Google) Interesting and informative even if explanations are missing in certain places. I understand that it is difficult to do but it is very, very dusty! For a moment, we are invited to smell several scents but they all smell like dust! The place is magnificent, the activities for children are nice. However, I find it expensive for what it is.
(Translated by Google) A very cold welcome, no enthusiasm, we had the impression of being a nuisance more than anything else. It costs €14.50 per adult. The bike ride lasts approximately 15 minutes over a distance of 1 km. The view is magnificent from the top of the trees. On the other hand, you have to queue endlessly to get through since there are around 5 bikes I think. It would be good if he put in a beeping system to call customers when it's their turn since in the end we spend our time waiting for the bike when we could have visited the site while waiting. For the “velovolant” you must be at least 1.40m tall and weigh less than 100 kg. It's a shame to systematically charge for a pass for the flying bike at the entrance, especially if you don't meet the conditions to do it or if you simply don't want to do it; before you could use the unused pass as a discount in the souvenir shop (-5€), now it's no longer possible, you just lose your money, in short, that's something else. We are also entitled to a little chocolate or coffee, but you need to know that since the girl at reception didn't specify it. Otherwise I only saw one butterfly in "the valley of butterflies" and a species that I see at home, it's a shame. The concept is still well thought out but there are things to review. For my part it was good to discover but I will not come back. I could have skipped everything else if we had been well received, that's what people don't understand. Damage. Dommage.

Absolutely amazing!! Professional employees. Many different paths through the treetops at different difficulty levels. Small kids to navy seal level crazy modules! Crazy nice ziplines!! We loved it !!
Nice staff, good place for a fun afternoon.
Really worth a visit!
Super tyrotropicales 😉
(Translated by Google) Several levels, even for toddlers (5 or 6 years old) who can be independent (my 6-year-old son completed the Ti Sucrier five times with a smile on his face!) The Foufou is more challenging and physical, but you'll have help to complete the challenges (a pulley allows you to reach the end of each challenge). The Tapeur has a lovely view of the Pigeon Islet (between the branches because they grow quickly!), and the zip lines are cool. In short, a great family time!
(Translated by Google) Nice trails, we had a great time! The rope bridges were a bit redundant, but the zip line was great! The system for hanging on without using a double carabiner is practical. The staff is very pleasant. What I would like to complain about is the condition of the gloves, which were damaged and worn by everyone. It wasn't hygienic and it smelled... I don't know if there's another option, but it put me off. Luckily, there's an option to wash your hands when you leave!
(Translated by Google) A successful time with friends and then family. The concept works well and makes you want to challenge yourself to experience new sensations. The zip lines are fantastic. Despite the height and stability challenges, we focus on the course and move forward. Cor and Chantal are the best dive outfit we have ever dived with over the past 20+ years. They share their knowledge and stories and keep safety at the top of their list. My buddy and I went diving with them for 2 straight weeks (6 days of 2 tank dives a week and 1 night dive during our stay) and are planning a return trip to dive with them again. The boat is comfortable and we take care of all our own gear set ups and utilize their shop to rinse and store overnight. Tanks they provide are plenty full (always 3K+ psi) and all dives were better than 1 hour. Never any pressure and they make the diving such a pleasure. We certainly hope they will be there for many years to come.
We had a great time Diving with Chantal and Cor! Although we originally planned on three days of diving, we ended up doing four, including a deep dive to the Gustavia wreck. The dive shop is well equipped and the material is in great shape, since Cor is a also a technician. They were both super friendly and accommodating, letting us prepare the equipment and lending a hand when needed. Chantal and Cor are both super experienced divers and you will feel very safe diving with them, whatever your level of experience is.
My boyfriend and me did our PADI open water advanced certificate with Les Baillantes Tortues. We really loved it! First of all, this is one of the only dive schools where you can get PADI certified on Guadeloupe, all other dive schools I contacted did not do PADI or at double the price. More outstandingly, Cor and Chantal are great instructors and divers. They pay attention to detail and teach you a lot, making sure you become an independent diver. Equipment is high quality and they show you great dive sites. My personal favourite was the wreck dive at Franjack.
Professional but very personal experience by owners Chantal and Cor who have > 30 yrs experience. Fast smooth boat. High quality equipment. We saw turtles, eels, barracuda, giant lobsters and crabs, calamari, and much more. Best scuba experience ever!! Could not recommend more highly!!
The owners speak something like 8 languages. They offer the best diving experience at the highest safety standard. They are very experienced and they know the perimeter really well. Their prices are very good! What a wonderful experience! It was a pleasure diving with them.
Most definitely a premium dive center! We did our Advanced OWDs in May 2018 with Cor and Chantal and absolutely loved it. Cor is an underwater photography enthusiast and his passion for it is indeed contagious. There are two stunning ship wrecks (Franjack and La Gustavia) located close to Cor’s base which are a must-do. We can highly recommend Cor’s dive base and would come back any time to enjoy some awesome diving.
Chantel and Cor are kind and patient teachers who will make your trip full of lasting memories. Their concern for safety is paramount and they spend lots of time making certain their divers are prepared and educated. We were able to enjoy our first night dive with them as well. I highly recommend them for everything from beginner certification to advanced diving. Great people and beautiful water !!
We had a great time with Cor and Chantal! They are at the same time very professional and personal. We went for 10 dives / 5 days with them (1 to a shipwreck, 3 at Reserve Gusteau, 6 at beautiful reefs closer to the shop) - all were excellent. They always kept an eye on safety but also let us enjoy our time. Can definetly recommend them, also for English / German speakers.

Such a fantastic set up here. Incredibly friendly staff and a very impressive and beautiful area. My family are fish farmers from the UK and we were kindly given information and explainers on the fishing farming activities here. A unique experience which we will always remember… thank you!
Wonderful and peaceful place. We had a chance to catch some fish ourself and let them go. Spent a really relaxing and calm afternoon in this little paradise.

This was a great experience for very little money. The owner is very knowledgeable and you get to learn the A to Z about growing and preparing vanilla. Can also buy the local vanilla for a fair price. Worth while if you like this sort of thing.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and patiently explained the entire process. We'll worth the visit.

Wonderful vacations! Quiet as can be and a very relaxing environment. The garden is luxuriant with many beautiful orchids and a lovely pond. The pool and spa are very enjoyable after a day exploring the island. The bungalow was quite big and comfortable. The owners are super friendly. I would definitively come back and stay here again.
Definitely an experience getting a massage out in nature! There was no warm water to rinse off before the jacuzzi and after the scrub, the deep tissue massage I requested wasn't exactly deep tissue, and because of the wind, I was a little cold while getting the massage in the treehouse. Besides those 3 complaints, their hospitality was great! And it truly was a relaxing and unique experience.
In the middle of a beautiful jungle garden. We had a superb stay and Arnaud and his wife did everything to make our holiday unforgettable. They make the best 'Planteur' and by the way, Arnaud speaks well english too. Also very good located, just a few minutes drive from lovely Ferry Beach and another 10 minutes from Dehaies, de village where the crime series Death in Paradise is shot.
Excellent experience in this beautiful garden and spa. Our massage was relaxing and visiting the garden was super interesting. Thank you!

The accommodation is comfortable, true to the description, in a quiet green setting. Visiting birds and hummingbirds. We appreciated the little touches upon our arrival (welcome punch and something to make breakfast the next day) which make the difference and which reassures you in your choice of accommodation. (Translated by Google) We came for a duo massage. The setting is enchanting, a very nice gentleman showed us around the garden while waiting for the massage time. One of the masseuses was not very pleasant, even unpleasant at times, which spoiled the experience a little. Add to that the mosquitoes, it doesn't help you relax... a citronella candle and/or a mosquito net could be a solution :) (Original) Nous sommes venu pour un Massage en duo.

Wonderful experience! Claude was very generous with his time and his garden was amazing as well. Chocolate to die for!
The workshop was great. We made a lot of different products from the cocoa fruit! We also did a tour in the plantation. I would totally recommend this workshop if you are curious about cocoa :)
Another highlight from my trip! Claude is AMAZING! I've never met such a happy, content man. While you wait for your chocolate to cool, he takes you on a tour of his farm. He was such a joy to learn from. Definitely a must do in Guadeloupe!
