The chapel was absolutely beautiful the craftsmanship in creating such a church is mind blowing if you love religion architecture or art you have to drop by
A beautiful, baroque cathedral at the heart of the city. If you're visiting SLP, the this is a must see destination.
Came to visit every time during Xmas and is always beautiful love the Xmas tree next to it inside of the cathedral is beautiful and nicely decorated if you are into culture and history i highly recommend to visit the whole city since it has many more places like this one 🫶
My & my husband enjoyed the short trip we made to visit this beautiful church at San Luis Potosi, Mexico. And we also got to give thanks and Praises to our Almighty Father GOD at the service. Loved the stores we got to buy what our heart desired, too.
Such a beautiful place!, piece of art as well!
When we went the holy mass wad going on. Awesome sculpture and painting of 17 th century.

Absolutely magical! The refurbished former prison has been turned into an art center. Probably the most beautiful place I've seen recently, the transformation is a must see. Walk around the many different gardens and visit the museum.
From the videos and reviews that I have seen and read, they make little justice. First, the place is ENORMOUS. You really can't capture it until you see it for yourself. From outside one can't tell. There's many patios and places to explore. Everything is kept extremely clean, quiet, serene, just beautiful. To top it all a fresh clean breeze runs constantly. And this is just the outside. MUST SEE MUST VISIT.
Really nice and interesting place. The art courses that they offer are affordable and attractive
It’s okay if you are into art, the admission wasn’t expensive dir a student, but if you aren’t into art don’t go there
This is an important Arts Center in the city, there are some organized tours inside the ex-prison used now as a cultural center for different photography/paint expositions and other events
Museo Leonora Carrington.
One of my favorite places to visit whenever I am in SLP. I recommend the Leonora Carrington museum and the different temporary exhibitions it offers.

I loved it. I just love the creativity of each artist. They also have a room display of masks from around the world. It’s a small collection but I enjoyed it. Oh they also a a display of Mexican wrestlers.
We had an incredible visit to the Mask Museum, and it quickly became a highlight of our trip. The museum is very affordable and offers a fascinating look into the history and artistry of masks from Mexico and around the world. The collection is diverse and beautifully curated, making it both educational and entertaining for visitors of all ages. One of the most fun parts was the luchador room, where we saw a variety of wrestling masks and learned about the rich tradition of lucha libre. My kids were thoroughly entertained and fascinated by the colorful masks and the stories behind them. The museum is housed in a stunning building, adding to the overall experience. It’s a perfect spot for families, history enthusiasts, or anyone interested in the vibrant culture of masks. We left feeling inspired and more connected to this unique art form. Highly recommend!
Beautiful building, great place to learn more about the use of masks in Mexican culture. A huge collection. Displayed in a breathtaking palace. Cheap too. 20 pesos entrance. 10 pesos photography. Wow.
Very interesting with excellent displays of mostly MX based masks through the centuries as well a presentations of their importance across social and religious life and death events. Very enjoyable
Fantastic museum about masks in Mexico and around the world, some beautiful designs and really cheap.
Beautiful mask collection. Very affordable fee (20pesos ea) Short tour, beautiful building overlooking Teatro de la paz. Would definitely recommend seeing it.

Worth the two hour drive and stay at an Airbnb. It was a Monday but it was open for the holidays. Super clean, beautifully landscaped, some lovely photo opportunities. Tickets fairly priced, nobody really else around, so I recommend coming when they open (parking free). I assume some of the installations were not working (like they tan gram robot who you race against) and the kiddos didn’t check out the astronomy room but you could easily spend two to three hours here. What would make it perfect would be multilingual installations for the English/European visitors, since this place really is a shining beacon for the city and something to be proud of. Let me know if there’s something similar in other towns, I feel like Querétaro is missing out!
Great museum with lots of activities wheelchair accesible, several themes very entertaining! The have a Japanese exhibition which is beautiful totally recommended
A great experience ones of the best museums of its kind, well, at least from the one I know, I still prefer the Nemo in Amsterdam.
Excelent place to go with children and have lots of family fun
The night events are really awesome, and the temporary events make this place more dynamic. The live music is always great, the food, the staff, I really recommend you to visit the museum in one of these night events.
It's is a very quiet place. Peaceful and perhaps better for little school aged. We walked alot and lunching area is basic to snacks-lunch so I'm content with my visit. Worth the price at 4persons. Today was hot so I kind of was tired after 4 hours.
It's a great place for your whole family if you are ever in San Luis. There is a huge park right around the museum also.
A great place for children. But ... I had to pay for an 8-month-old baby who didn't even walk and play even less. I took photos at birthday party and they wanted to charge me for 10 minutes of being in the room; at the end of the fiesta, I came to photos, they wouldn't let me in until I paid - very bad :(

One of the nicest plazas in San Luis Potosi capital, well maintained, relatively clean, and safe area... a stop you must take while walking around SLP downtown, several other venues around the area. Perfect Picture Spot to enhance your experience
Great space to sit, relax and marvel at the beautiful architectural marvel that this place is. There is also a museum here. And the alley next to it has a great collection of trinket shops and restaurants.
Really worth it!!!!! Best place in San Luis. You can walk there from the city center, fewer people so you avoid huge crowds. Nice place to take pictures, visit museums and most importand there are really nice bars and restaurants. A totally must to visit in SL
This plaza is truly a beautiful spot to relax and unwind. It offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for reflection, whether you're sitting quietly or taking a leisurely stroll. The view during sunset is especially breathtaking, with warm colors painting the sky and creating a serene backdrop. It's an ideal place to pause, enjoy the moment, and appreciate the natural beauty around you. I highly recommend visiting this plaza if you're looking for a tranquil setting to unwind and catch a stunning sunset.
Great plaza for a stroll and picture backdrop. The alley next to the church is full of hippy and local vendors and you can hear a great live band in any of the pubs on Friday nights lots to choose from.
Very nice place to spend some free time with friends, there are several restaurants with some good menus. There are wedding almost every weekend and you can buy some interesting stuff near to the church
Nice spot! Please note that In the afternoon there are a lot of people taking engagement pictures and 15 years.

Great Train Museum! This museum is a fantastic visit for families. Kids loved exploring the old train cars, which offered a fun and immersive experience. The painting class was a hit, sparking their creativity, and we all enjoyed learning about the rich history of trains in Mexico. A must-visit for anyone interested in trains, history, or just looking for a fun day out with the family!
It was alright it was cool looking at some stuff but I was confused because there's an art place and an exhibit for a luchador. Walking around the carts were cool but wish they had alittle more.
Hadn't stepped into this building since I was a child and it was a great honor to visit one more time. This place was a busy hub of people coming and going in the late 80's. Lots of history in here and overall enjoyed the experience. Worth the trip.
The museum is an easy walk from the center of the city. The building is a beautiful Art Deco style that has been kept in excellent condition. There is an amazing model train display.
Nice experience seeing the history of the railroad system in San Luis Potosi. A variety of exhibits by far my favorite was the large train model village. Recommend going during the week when train ride is available. Kid friendly and elevator is available. Cafeteria was not open but there was a vending machine.
This place is ok for a quick visit, located on a busy street, not much parking space, so you may not find parking. Theres a lot of writing on the walls but no translation to english so international turists who dont speak spanish will struggle and there's a lot to read.
Interesting museum.
Beautiful place to learn about the story of the train evolution in the country

What could possibly go wrong with Best buy? Everything is tidy and organized, staff is always around, ready to help if needed. I usually go there every other day just to walk around and kill some time since my workplace is in the same building, 2 floors above. They don't mind at all even if I don't buy anything. I really enjoy going there and snoop around and see what new technologies they have.
I just bought an Acer laptop on Promo. Sales Associates Blanca & Mendez assisted me with my purchase + 2 years Geek Squad Protection Plan. Excellent customer service, friendly and trustworthy. Blanca speaks fluent English. She deserves a promotion! You guys rock. Thank you for a great Best Buy experience!
In general is a good place to try new technology as you can interact with the gadgets but prices are too expensive comparing with other stores that are not specialized in technology, you expect that the guys that works there at least know the basics of the products but some times this is not. Particularly in this store products that are on the racks are very dirty, I bought a carrying bag for my camera and I couldn't find one that were clean. That is very bad presentation for costumer's.
I came Last week to this place and bought Wireless earbuds. Without using them, they were discharged after 2 days (i didn't Test it Just once). Reply from customer Service: Box is opened and we cannot Take it Back, i need to contact the manufacturer. Thanks for that Service! Compre audiophonos, que tienen una bateria defecta. Fui Para hablar Con El servicio y me dijeron que es mi Problema porque Abri la empaque. Excelente servicio!
Their online purchase system leaves quite a bit to be desired as well as their 01800 service which was on the fritz... !
The best technology store in town with a really good service but a bit overpriced sometimes.
It's best buy, one of the greatest stores, what else can I say?
Too many associates, and not helping the customer. You have to go ask for help. And, many people using their phone and NOT for calling.

Beautiful church. I walked up through the alley and saw the side door and thought, "wow, how beautiful." Then I walked into the plaza and saw the front of the building. It truly is amazing.
Memories of my childhood and when I used to visit with my Mom. Last time I was there was back in 2001 and my husband was very impressed, how beautiful it looked inside the church ⛪️ His first visit to Mexico 🇲🇽 ❤️
Beautiful building but It's a shame that being a potosino symbol is so poor conserved
It Is an old iconic mexican colonial stone building catholic church. If you are catholic or colonial architectural fan, this is a good place to visit, located at the central historical downtown at San Luis Potosí city, capital soft the state with the same name.
Beautiful church my nephew's wedding was heald at this church and it was so beautiful. The acoustics are great but the design of the church is amazing. I dare to say this is one of the most beautiful churches in Mexico.

Great exposition of the Federico Silva's sculptures. The author is one of the best Mexican contemporary artists. I like all there, the modern style sculptures, how they are presented in the Museum (perfect lightning, colours environment, descriptions and visualization). The little patio inside the building is a gem of the architecture there. And particularly I loved the Silva's interpretation of Canto I, a journey into Dante's inferno. Wonderful!
Super interesting is you like geometrical sculpture and conceptual art. Historical architecture blends beautifully with the collections.
It's a must if it's your fist time in SLP!!
Any structural engineer, architect, civil engineer, pilot will love this place
During dia de muertos days they put on a beautiful altar and the museum is one not to miss out on
I am a big fan of contemporary sculpture - this did not disappoint. Federico Silva's larger than life interpretation of Mexican traditions are fantastic. I particularly loved the journey into Dante's inferno. Wonderful!
A collection of large-scale works by the famous sculptor. Most of them depict abstract humans extracted from large blocks of stone and made out of geometrical shapes, mainly cubes or rectangles. Rarely will you see a curved line.
I was stunned by those sculptures, but a bit more information would have been nice :)

Beutiful place I'm very impressed
(Translated by Google) The Government Palace of San Luis Potosí is located on one side of the Plaza de Armas in the historic center of the city. It is a beautiful quarry structure that serves as the headquarters of the Executive power of the state of San Luis Potosí. I had to see him decorated for the national holidays and the result was magnificent. It is unfortunate that it has to have a fence around its perimeter that prevents you from being able to enjoy it peacefully and move comfortably through the area. But if the fences were not there, they told me it was full of tents and tents from various demonstrations. I neither condemn nor support them, but I suppose there is no more effective way to have the desired attention to their demands. Together with the Plaza de Armas, the City Cathedral, the Legislative Branch and the rest of the surrounding buildings, they make up an unforgettable postcard during your visit to the city. Well. Bueno.

It's a small museum, but it is very interesting. The church in 2nd floor is very awesome.
(Translated by Google) Like the Cultural Center of the former penitentiary, this museum space is also widely wasted. There are many rooms closed and without access. (Translated by Google) It's a good cultural and historical site about San Luis Potosí, very informative. It's a bit deteriorated by time. It's smaller than it looks, the police are somewhat rude, and there's a man who constantly follows you and scolds you even if you don't do anything. Other than that, it's a good experience to visit. I hope they restore it soon. (Translated by Google) It is located in what was once a Franciscan convent, construction of which began in 1590. The Reform Laws made it possible for this building to house workshops and schools of arts and crafts, as well as a Masonic lodge. In 1952, the museum was established under the direction of the INAH (National Institute of Art and History). In its four rooms, you can learn an overview of Mesoamerican cultures, as well as the history of the people of Potosí, from the evangelization of the Guachichil Indians, the daily life and faith of the settlers during the viceregal era, to the struggle for independence and the agrarian revolution. In some museums, I have found pieces without descriptive cards; here, however, the cards indicate the place where they were found, the material they were made from, the culture, the historical period, their symbolism, etc. Very good. What needs to be improved is the typography; it is very small. Something interesting I found in the museum is that in 1925, in the Grand Masonic Lodge of El Potosí, the Chee Kung Tong Workshop No. 4 was established, made up of Chinese migrants from different cities in Mexico, with Masonic backgrounds dating back to 1905 in Monterrey, the State of Mexico, and Torreón.
