I can’t say enough good things about how memorable and beautiful this place is. The wine tasting where you smell and identify notes was so unique and well executed. It’s $60 a person so definitely pricey but included the full experience, a cheese board, and a short tour. I’m so so glad we came here
Visited Thursday, July 24 – Monte Xanic is a must for wine lovers! We did the Aromas and Flavors experience, which included a beautiful tour of the winery, a fun tasting game where we guessed ingredients by taste and smell, and a delicious cheese board to pair with the wines. The experience was playful, relaxing, and set against the backdrop of stunning vineyard views. Sip local. Support local.
I never would have imagine a winery like this in the middle of the Mexican dessert. This place has everything and I would dare to say is at par or better than most Napa/Sonoma wineries. The views, the service, the wine, the attention to details, the different games to make the tasting experience better, the tapas, the knowledge of the people, all made for an elevated experience surpassing the best wineries in other regions. We went with the blind wine tasting and the personnel made the whole thing super interesting, fun and educative. I have never seen this in other wineries. And we learned that the winery has other experiences depending on your group. The wine was superb. Their reserve was our favorite. While not cheap, compared to others, it was completely worth it. This is one of those places to visit when visiting Valle.
Loved the winery. It's a beautiful property and our guide Abril was great. You do need a reservation though. Tried to come here a year ago and was turned away at the gate. This time we had a reservation and tried some very good to great wines, for a tour of the winery, and were able to enjoy time just hanging out there. At the end they let us keep our wine glasses. The Gran Ricardo wine has some hype to it; tried it and it is worth it. Ended up taking a bottle home.
They were able to seat us on the lake, which was amazing. Super refreshing and relaxing. their Sauvignon Blanc was delicious and service was great.
We got there having no reservations. We were allowed to the lower side of the winery, next to the lake- which is great too! It’s quiet, relaxing, the wines are great. Try the cabernet with the bread options. You will love it here!
What an incredible place. Monte Xanic was our favorite winery we visited in the area by far. Not only was the wine superb, and the views stunning, but our tour guide / wine tasting “guru” -Sara, really knew her stuff. She truly knew how to describe wine in a way that made us want to buy all of the bottles in the winery. The wine in an of itself though tasted delicious all the way down the line (I think we tried all of the ones on the tasting menu, plus the ones they served by the glass - ha!!) it’s also really cool to note that this winery was truly started by Mexicans for Mexicans which made it feel like a truly “Mexican wine” experience which I think is what we wanted to go for when we came to the area. We highly recommend this winery and we will definitely be back. Thanks Sara for being the perfect guide! Next time we come back, I hope you’re managing the place!! 😊
Would go back here and would recommend to friends/family! Beautiful view, nice tour and good wines. Reservation required and it does have EV chargers in the parking lot.

Excellent service! Espectacular and relaxing views and atmosphere! Wines are great! Food is tasty! Must visit stop on your wine tour.
I really loved this winery. The settings is beautiful, the food and wine tastes great, and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely come back in the future. Also, they’re dog friendly 😊
I would have taken pictures of the food if I hadn't eaten it so fast. We had the Kiliwa tasting and the cheese tapas (highly recommended). We'll definitely be back. It's a good spot to lounge for the afternoon and drink with friends/family.
Visiting from Orange County, CA. I've been to Napa, Sonoma, & Tuscany. We did the 9 wine tasting. 4 Wines were decent (Chardonnay - crisp, refreshing and reminded me a little of a Portuguese Vinho Verde, and Reserve stood out), and 5 were borderline not good. That being said, we had a really, really great time and I still took home 2 bottles. I would definitely return. I came with low expectations on the wine. Its not a winery in Tuscany with hundreds of years of experience, they've got a few dogs on their menu, but....still they have a few decent ones. I'm certain as time goes on they'll keep improving, and I'll be happy to watch them grow. The view was beautiful, it was exceptionally peaceful, each outdoor party was spread out from each other. We speak fluent Spanish - but I heard our server speak English pretty OK. It's a dog-friendly place. The road in was dusty, but well kept, a few avoidable dirt potholes. We came in a Multi-family group with 4 children in our party 8, 6, 4, 2 year old and they had space to explore a little and play some tag without interrupting other parties. Our server was a little slow with the 9 wine tasting we ordered, so we asked him to speed it up, and he did. The bathrooms were clean and well kept.
The wines were a huge hit with the group. Everyone seemed to enjoy them, and we ended up buying a few bottles to take home. The variety offered something for every palate, from the light and crisp to the full-bodied. Plus, the owner's presence added a fun and memorable element to the whole experience. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and we can't wait to go back.
Went to Xecué just for wine tasting. Staff was welcoming and attentive, the wines were tasty, especially their Konnay wine. Nice and relaxing views of the sunset at Valle de Guadalupe. A very worthy experience :)
This was one of 3 wine tasting places. Very good wine, and great cheese board.
Wonderful selection of wines that are refreshing, flavorful, and unique. I’m not typically a wine enthusiast, but this winery has changed my mind! Highly recommend if you need a beautiful, peaceful, and sunny getaway. Guillermo worked with us and was informative, warm, and kind. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The 1st of 2 wineries of our really cheap $40 Costco Travel wine tasting tour. LA Cetto is the largest, most established, and modern winery in Mexico(don't quote on me on that). Started with a somewhat interesting 25-30 minute tour of winery...just long enough, our lovely, energetic, and English fluent speaking tour guide Anatella was a delight. The facilities are modern and the landscapes are lovely. The bread, cheese, and olive oil snack was fresh and delicious, but the wines were even better! The two whites were light, crisp, smooth and refreshing...the two reds were bold, robust, rich, and fragrant. Anatella even brought out a bottle of Grappa for me try, loved! We ended up buying two bottles of white, a bottle of red, a bottle of grappa, and bottle of olive oil which totaled to be about $80 American, which is an absolute deal compared to Napa and Sonoma.
Amazing vineyard and Daniel as our tour guide was fantastic, whole experience was terrific and the wines are delicious. Our bus tour guide was Leslie and she was amazing keeping everyone entertained and very informative. Our driver was Carlos and he was also terrific!
Handicap accessible tour! Super friendly and knowledgeable tour guides- provided cheese, olives and bread. Beautiful scenery. 4 wines to taste- large pours. Highly recommend!
Excellent experience with very knowledgeable staff. Especially Ricardo delivered outstanding service and even offered us a tour around the winery in German. We were allowed to spend the night in our campervan in the vineyard.
Loved this place! The wine was wonderful and the hosts/guides were excellent.
Even though i can’t really rate the wine because im a minor (and can’t drink for obvious reasons) the tour the workers gave was really cool. The good thing is that because minors don’t get to drink they also don’t have to pay for the tour. The tour showed really cool things and told us the history and uses of the things in the installations (both in english and Spanish)
Awesome winery! Loved the tour guide and info I learned so much history. The wine tastes so yummy. Totally recommend stopping there on your next wine tour. I didn’t need an appt. It was just two of us and the wait was about 20 min.
Beautiful scenery and fabulous wines! Staff was knowledgeable and super friendly! Highly recommend!! 😍🍷

Love reading about history and the process taken. Great museum and views. Wine tasting at the premises was enlightening and delish.
Very interesting experience. Gives details of how wine making got starting in Baja, Mexico. If you're in the area and like museums, you should check it out. The place provides wine tasting and has a large assortment of wines. There is also a mini coffee and gift ship in the back. There are cheeses to try, and the Popsicles are great for the hot weather.
This is am excellent stop if you like history and historical events and the development of wine here in the Guadalupe Valley. There is also a beautiful view of wine country which is a must see. Look at my photographs and come see for yourselves. God bless my brothers and sisters.
El Museo de Vino is a great museum on the history of wine, first from Georgia (Europe) and then the history of wine making in Baja California. Very informative, lots to learn and see about the earliest production of wine around the world. Also, lots of art - paintings and ceramic pieces with and without a wine theme. Spent two hours here and it was worth it.
If you go to the area then you want to check out this museum. Not super entertaining but you learn a couple of things. We paid for the degustation wine taste but the guy was busy for 20 mins with another customer so we didn't benefit of the extra payment. Good views and interesting architecture though
It's a great place to find out how Mexican wine country began. Plenty of old artifacts from vineyards and plenty of information about the soil, grapes, and the vineyards in the area. The museum has jaw dropping views of the vineyard behind it. The museum would be a great venue for big art events or private parties with their second floor event space. Inexpensive entrance fee, you can add wine tasting to your ticket. Worth a visit to geek out. Oh, everything is in Spanish. Visit with a Spanish speaking friend or maybe it's time to learn a second language.
Nice museum, very clean, but small and you have to pay to get in. It can easily be toured in an hour. So if you're nearby, visiting the wineries, this can be a nice little stop to take a short break and get a few photos.
Beautiful place, with great views to talk lots of pictures. And the entrante is only 3 dls. Can't miss it!

This place was packed on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The vibes are great. The food was delicious and the cocktails were also good. This was our third vinicola of the day so we wanted to take a break from drinking. This vinicola has great views so it's a great place to take your dates or spend your anniversary
Came here in the afternoon. The tables are set up to be perfect shaded at that time of day. Fantastic wine. Setting has views of the valley. Service top notch. Food was phenomenal. Very welcoming for those with kids.
Beautiful building and scenery. Terrible wine. Stop here for pictures and the atmosphere, skip the wine. Been here a few times and have not found a wine they make that is decent. They do have air conditioning which is nice
Average food and service and a bit expensive. But beautiful surroundings.
Wines were exquisite. The charcuterie board has an assortment of cheeses dates and sausage along with warm bread. It's definitely a must to try. The staff is very knowledgeable in regards to the wines. And offered great recommendations. I did the mixta wine testing I bought 2 wine bottles, my friend bought 4 and sister bought 2. We will definitely be back. Oh and the view, gorgeous.
Just left this Vineyard and while the food and wine are good, the experience we just had while receiving a complimentary wine tour was atrocious. We had the unpleasant experience of having a female Spaniard tour guide that was completely rude. We spoke to the manager and she was delightful. Please beware when you go and if you have the misfortune of getting that female, skip the tour or wait for another tour guide if available.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Decantos Vinicola! The views from their location are stellar. We had a couple of glasses of wine each, and we purchased one of theirs pizzas. The wines were excellent, and the pizza was above average. Prices were very fair.
Took a family trip down to Ensénada to celebrate Memorial Day and also as an early birthday trip for myself. Never been wine tasting in Mexico but the misses keeps talking about it, so here was my change. This was the final local on our multi stop tour and we were delighted by the experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and what wines worked best with our food selection. All the staff was masked up and kept a solid distance to meet Covid-19 guidelines for the venue. The location has great views of the wine valley and several spots for a photo opt or two. Definitely will come back again.

The best oysters we’ve ever had. Perfect First stop for our wine and food tour weekend getaway. We are celebrating my husbands 60th birthday weekend and he said it was the best oysters he’s ever had in his life.
Lovely and tranquil environment. Excellent food. I found most of the red wine I tried to be a bit too tannic for my taste...but I'm not an expert. In our group the Sauvignon Blanc was a hit. The outdoor kitchen with the Santa Maria grill and wood fired oven delivers some amazing food and is interesting to watch and enjoy.
What unforgettable experience! Blessed to have the chance to visit this winery at the Valle. Felt exclusive and safe area. I went with a group of friends and we did a 5 wine tasting with a charcuterie board.
The ambience was perfect. The Catch Of The Day meal was perfect. The staff was excellent. The white wine was flavorless and unpalatable. They refused to replace it. Ordered a bottle of the Cabernet. Very good wine. Would definitely return, but taste the wine before ordering a bottle.
Some of the wine is very good. All of it is at least good, probably better. We were here in 2018, and then again recently in July 2025. Some things have changed, and I think for the better. One thing that has not changed is the stunning view from the "tasting deck." It simply cannot be beat. (Monte Xanic rivals, but does not beat it.) Another thing that has not changed is that the staff are just not as good as the wine. I cannot put my finger on it, but it kinda feels like they don't actually care as much as the people at our favorite places (which are all family operated).
One of the BEST wineries and places at Valle de Guadalupe! The quality of the wine is top notch, the terrace has a GREAT vibe, the restaurant is delicious. Truly great experience, definitely recommend it.
This place has a great view and super friendly staff! Definitely recommend getting a cheese board here with your wine. Oh and they have a puppy roaming around and a few other dogs that made it even more comfortable like being at home.
I would have loved to stay longer in this place, the vineyard is beautiful, we made a reservation to eat, our dishes and drinks were delicious, but we had more activities planned and we couldn't stay that long to see the whole place, I hope to return soon.

Nice winery, tranquil garden area, central location, and.... Good wines! The co-located food truck is excellent, but was closed on this Wednesday visit.
The atmosphere was beautiful and the entrance as well. There was a food truck with some interesting offerings, but I must say that this wine is very flat though it goes in full. Every glass of wine I had, had no bottom and I tried four different ones. This was actually the worst wine I have ever had. I'm sorry to say this because the service was excellent!
Relaxing winery with some relaxing patio area. The food truck got some food that I did not try yet. It is a well visited winery. We were able to relax and even do some art.
Only one tasting option available, and it doesn’t include any history or background about the winery. Out of the four wines, three are red and you have no choice in the lineup. The service was disappointing, the person who greeted us didn’t seem to care at all. Overall, not worth the visit. Avoid this spot; there are plenty of other wineries in the valley that offer better wine, service, and experiences.
Went for a quick Degustacion or wine tasting. We thought all the wines we had where solid. I preferred the Miguel. Service was nice and speedy.
Thank you, Leo, for our fantastic and informative wine tasting! We will definitely be returning ☺️
Fear the Walking Dead showed me the Beauty of this Winery ❤️
Hidden gem in valle de guadalupe. Takes walk ins. The wine is 8/10 - 9/10. The place is gorgeous. Great for a wine sample and snacks. Would recommend 100%. Has horse back riding.

Had the tasting tour, ordered more wine and a cheese plate. Enjoyed the stillness of the evening. This is one of my favorite places and wines. They have an excellent service and attention.
Gorgeous and super large venue with several different spaces inside and outside, that for sure. The wines are hit or miss. Some were amazing and others were not so much. Our whole group did reds so I have no idea about the whites and chose not to do a tour. There are food options available if you need a bite. Our group enjoyed the cheeseboard.
Visited Thursday, July 24 – Barón Balché was an unforgettable stop! We did Package A, which included a fantastic guided tour through the winery. Our host, Guillermo, was outstanding—his deep knowledge of wine, the winemaking process, and the history of the vineyard made the experience truly memorable. We got to see the wine barrels up close and learn about each step in the process, which gave us a deeper appreciation for what goes into every bottle. Guillermo also shared the story behind Barón Balché—including its name, inspired by a sacred Mayan drink and culture—which added a fascinating layer of meaning to the entire tasting. The wines were excellent—rich, expressive, and clearly crafted with care. A beautiful stop in Valle de Guadalupe that’s well worth it. Sip local. Support local.
Incredible service provided by Valerie. She was friendly and gave us a lot of information during our tour of the underground cellars. Just a heads up - their website does not work. I booked a tour ahead of time via their website but when we arrived we were told that they never received it because of the website. Also if you were like me and came starving- just be aware the restaurant does not open till 1 pm.
The view is beautiful! They have many tours, even a helicopter tour. The drinks are great. The food not so great unfortunately, it was overpriced and not much flavor... If you like fine wine or other drinks, i recommend. But If you're hungry, maybe get a salad or pasta.
Great place, very good wine.
We went for a tour and it was our guides second day on the job. He was fantastic. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Also very patient because we had two small kids with our group. The winery itself was fascinating. We tried 3 wines and had some cheese!
We came for the cart ride, but didn’t have reservations, so instead did the cava tour. Tours were offered in either English or Spanish. The winery has a beautiful below ground space both for wine making and tasting rooms (which we couldn’t use due to Covid). Our tasting was held following the tour on the front patio. Our guide was knowledge and able to answer all of our questions! I didn’t find a wine I loved enough to take home, but we had a fun experience!

Beautiful vineyard, delicious wines & welcoming staff. They had a lovely musician under the oak tree. Her voice was like butter...the depth of Shakira mixed with velvet of Marc Anthony. Truly moving. I loved all the wines, but especially the rosè! Floral & perfectly balanced! The panini was delicious as well. So many amazing things...overall I highly recommend! HUGE shout out to Michael from Baja Vacation Planners for the recommendation!
The tables are beautifully spread out under a gigantic tree. They have some wine tasting menus, but ordering by the glass will be cheaper. I highly recommend the charcuterie plates.
Lovely wine tasting experience in Valle. In and outdoor space including tables under an enormous tree. Nice assortment of cheese, panini and charcuterie plates.
This is my second time visiting Magoni and it was just as good as the first time. We were there this time with the fantastic tour company, Baja Wine & Dine. There was live music outside under the big 200 year old coastal live oak tree. It was lit up with lights and there were many comfortable tables and chairs all around. We tried three of their red wines and the majority of our group liked their cheaper Nebiolo blend more than their more expensive Nebiolo reserve. Haha!
If the only reason you come here is to sit under this incredible tree—so be it. Totally worth it. The setting is unreal. We did the red tasting and shared the charcuterie board, then ended up buying the Merlot-Malbec bottle because… yum.
Beautiful day for a wine tasting…Staff were very informative and friendly! Gorgeous setting…Delightful atmosphere 👌🏾🇲🇽
I made it to Casa Magoni on Saturday October the 4th to celebrate my aunts 75th birthday. She flew from Cuernavaca Mexico to visit this winery. The wines and cheese plate offerings are amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful. To the contrary, the management and serving staff essentially don’t care about customer service. The winery has a wonderful mystique about it though it appears that the managers and the staff are not engaging nor friendly. I would avoid coming to this winery there are other options that have exceptional wines and service. Until the ownership family wakes up and realizes that the managers and host staff is below expectations, I could never refer someone or go back to this winery in the Valle. There are simply better wineries that give the consumer a great detailed explanation of what they are trying with an attentive host that does not abandon your table. Avoid Bodegas Magoni.
Such a special place to drink a yummy glass of wine. We went on a weekend and were delighted by live music and while setting under the shade of giant tree. Highly recommend!

An incredible winery and stop for wonderful bites from Pizzas to Quesadillas y guacamole. Their newest Red offering Libis 2014 is fantastic. The design of the building an incredible testimony of Ensenada famous Architecht, Jorge Salazar.
This winery has an amazing building where the wine tasting and wine making happens. We really enjoyed the wines, there were excellent. We did buy quite a lot of there wines and the views from the patio were also amazing, so It is well worth a visit.
Kind of a cool looking building..but the grounds could use some work. The wines were ok, I liked that they served the white wines in a frozen wine glass. Not my favorite, but a good experience.
We stopped at Alximia for a coffee and we got way more than we expected. Thanks for the excellent welcoming and service from Viviana. Alximia became our favorite place in the valley!
We came upon ALXIMIA serendipitously, following our lunch at a nearby restaurant. We were very grateful for the accident. Alvaro and Lidia treated us to a tasting and shared the history of a family taking a chance and working together. They have solidly great wines. The Sauvignon was crisp and one of our favorites. The cab was also excellent.
Great Winery in Valle de Guadalupe! Excellent food! 5-Star service from the owner Alba and server Nicole. Highly recommend! Amazing architecture! Must see in the Valle!
FANTASTIC place!! Held our welcome drinks reception here for a wedding party of 140 and we were so happy with it that a number of people went back the next day. Both owners, particularly Nydia, were welcoming and warm. They were knowledgeable about wine and agreed to stay open late for our group to have the place to itself. The wines were delicious, the place emphasizes sustainable winemaking, and they have hammocks and petanca/bocce ball. Can't recommend them enough; we will definitely be back.
Amazing architecture and views, we had the tomato soup, veggie platter and cream brûlée and it was all perfect.

The best Valle has to offer. This is a winery we come back to time and time again since 2019 because of the wine and experience. Their vertical tasting paired with tapas is so delicious and unique. Hilda and James are wonderful hosts who make you feel so welcome and provide excellent service. Already looking forward to our next visit.
If you've gone to Valle De Guadalupe and haven't been here to Trevista, you need to go ASAP! keep in mind that it's by reservations only. Service is incredible! This place is a hidden Gem. I love coming here. Their wine is delicious. They only grow Organic Tempranillo grapes. I urge you to go and have a tasting and get the rundown by the wine maker on his process.
Best experience in valle de Guadalupe A must if you visit this area James and Hilda are such as great hosts. My fiance and me loved it it!!
We absolutely loved our tasting experience here! The food, wine and hospitality are top notch.
This is not your normal wine tasting. This is an "Experience" that will knock your socks off. James and Hilda are awesome and the wine tasting last about 1.5 hours or so with the tour. James is very passionate about what he does with the wine and Hilda is no different. They are both class acts! If you want the best wine tasting experience ever go see them at Trevista!
Best spot we went to in Valle de Guadalupe wine country. James and Hilda are incredible hosts, their Tempranillo wines are fantastic, and the food pairing experience they serve with their wines was one of our best meals of the weekend. Can't wait to come back, and will definitely be recommending to our family/friends.
My wife and I had our wedding here, it was perfect! 🎉
We had the greatest time at the Trevista tasting pairing. The owners were knowledgeable and friendly. Bonus: two very cute dogs. Enjoyed learning about making wine in the Valle, and loved the tapas even more. You need a reservation!

Soo wonderful! Love the variety of natural wines!! We had an amazing wine tasting w a gal who I can’t reminder her name but she was so knowledgeable of the area & the wines we tasted! We went home with lots of wine to share w our friends at home!
The wine tasting was so good! I live the style and how the boats are upside down as the roof, such cool architecture! I am inly taking off one star because it really smelled bad because of the pond I think but you can’t smell it inside. Loved everything else and definitely got a bottle from there to go. Hope you like the pics! Oh, before I forget, google maps takes to through the old entrance just look on the map and follow the road to the other side of the property and you will be there in no time 👍🏼
A good spot for good and wine with a nice outdoor seating. The hummus and bread were great, mostly because of the amazing bread. The Sauvignon blanc was nice and light and refreshing. The ambiance, music and decor was fun and interesting. Just the prepared it’s very far off the main road on a very bumpy road.
Really great experience. Alexia walked us through the tasting and explained the history of the winery in great detail, and she spoke perfect English, which made everything clear and easy to follow. The building itself is super cool, made from reclaimed boats, so the setting feels unique and memorable. Highly recommend.
Reading negative reviews about Vena Cava is mind blowing. Every time we go to Ensenada or Valle de Guadalupe, we stop at Vena Cava. They have some of the most unique and delicious wines. Gigi is always amazing and Troika next door has a great selection of foods and desserts. If you’re looking for a glitzy Napa/Temecula winery, this isn’t it. It’s rustic, raw, and uncompromisingly authentic.
Definitely less fancy than other wineries but soooo worth it! Great wine selection and great knowledge of Eduardo aka the guy who loves to enjoy food:)
Beautiful scenery. Fantastic wine. We did a half traditional, half natural wine tasting. Loved it! Gigi made the experience- she educated us about each wine, the processes etc. I would for sure be back.
We paid $25 per person to wine taste. The first bottle of wild yeast Sauvignon Blanc was already halfway open. I asked the “guide” how long ago he had opened it. His answer was “we open bottles daily”. Ok, he sidestepped the question. I tried it and it was too acidic to have been opened on the same day. Two days earlier I had tried their more traditional Sauvignon Blanc, and it was probably the best white wine I have ever had, meaning it satisfied my particular taste perfectly. But then this guy talked liked he knew everything, like a real billionaire Thurston Howell the third. I wish it was Dantean because then it could have had some comedic tone. Hellish was more like it. I guess once a memorized spiel is recited thousands of times the capacity to listen goes proportionally down to the underworld. He could have at least been nice at first and then the alcohol could have done its thing. But no straight answers, no pauses for questions, and in no time I had a headache. Before he even got a different wine, I left to see the pond outside. I bought beer there. Another member of our party also left saying his head spun by how quickly the “host” spoke. When I got the bill, we were all charged. This, even though I took no more than a sip of the first taste, and walked out. Charging us when our group obviously got smaller was as distasteful as the server’s social skills and the vinegar he poured.

Great view. Beautiful plants. Loved the organic syrah and the rosé. The wine dogs were cute too.
Came here to enjoy wine tasting on a Saturday to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately we arrived at 4pm which meant that we no longer were able to do the wine tasting which was disappointing. They did however let us get a couple of glasses of wine but it would have been nice to be able to do a tasting. Additionally the cheese board is not available after 4pm as well. The rooftop was really beautiful and the staff were nice, but I wish they would allow you to do a tasting. This seemed to be a popular place since a lot of folks were there when we arrived. Our favorite wine was the organic/natural rosé wine. Overall it was a beautiful property and I imagine the wine tasting is a nice experience.
Super beautiful winery. Plants and trees and views are incredible. We were to early for wine tasting but they offered us to purchase a glass of wine. Not my favorite chein blanc but was ok.
The rooftop garden was very cool! The Cabernet Sauvignon organic was one of my favorite organic wines. I normally don’t prefer the organics in general but this was great! The lavender flan was also amazing!
Not much of a wine drinker. But views were fantastic. The meat and cheese platter was good. Their bread was goooood. Freshly baked, soft, and warm. Grounds is well designed and kept pristine.
Absolutely stunning views, phenomenal wine, and food that rivals top restaurants. This winery is a hidden gem — the perfect blend of scenery and flavor. A must-visit!
2025.04.13 We went back again and this place is one of our favorites, nice view and great attention, great selection of wine 2024/03/16 we always stop for “Canto de Luna” and relax with the great view of this place 2018 Great place to visit, good wine and an amazing view, if you are planning to visit Valle de Guadalupe, this is the place to see entire valley, their deck is on great place to take pictures
This used to be one of my favorite wineries, but I was disappointed after my recent visit. I noticed I’d been grossly overcharged for a glass of wine and a food item. I reached out via email, and while they initially apologized and promised to issue a refund, they asked for my bank information and then stopped responding. Unfortunately, I never received the refund or any follow-up.

Great Winery and story of Amado Garza and his family. He creates really great wine in his 20 year old project. Do go and try the wine.
Sunday early afternoon, very limited wine tasting options (they only have 2 to choose from) and they only had one sample of one and two samples from the other one, but they told us we can purchase a bottle of our choice... 🤔 Besides that, the place is really nice and had a breathtaking view, nice... The access road needs maintenance so you have to go really really slow, like slug slow.
I’m an avid wine drinker and take tours to El Valle so I like to explore the wineries before I take people so here’s my review for this place: Front staff was not very friendly or welcoming. The lady up front was telling us we forcefully had to all purchase tastings to be able to sit at a table and the people in our group who weren’t gonna purchase tastings had to wait outside. First of all our group likes to purchase bottles and cheese boards, she didn’t even offer us any other option and she said She didn’t allow the people that didn’t want to purchase tastings to use the restroom. No wonder the place was empty. Never going back. I definitely don’t recommend this place. If there’s one thing I look for in a place, it’s customer service and this place really lacks. Save your trip there and go to places more friendly where your entire group can enter and sit together even if they don’t drink wine, but might drink something else. There are way better places out in El Valle!
Beautiful place and good wines. Definitely coming back. I loved the view and the relax ambience of the place.
On every trip, especially vacations, there are hopes and expectations. Most of the time, one hopes that expectations can be met, but rarely does one come across a situation where reality far exceeds expectations. This was the case during our visit to Vinãs De Garza in February of 2024. We were a group of 7 friends from San Diego in our 50s and 60s, visiting Baja for a weekend of wine and food tasting. As we drove into the winery, our eyes feasted on the curvaceous and unique rock stone walls contrasted with tall agave plants. It's a tableau in itself!! We parked on top of the hill and as we exited our van, the gentle noon breeze and the views caressed our senses as if to forewarn us that we were in for a pleasant surprise; this feeling got stronger on the walk towards the wine tasting area with stone, wood, olive trees, and rustic farm pieces tastefully lining the path towards a stone building. The tasting area itself is located on nearly the highest point of the property, and consists of a large terrace with 180 degree views of the surrounding vine slopes. The architecture and design of the place is modern rustic, with natural materials, plants and boulders married together in a symphony of taste and earthy beauty. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they made us feel at ease from the get go. The owner came by to welcome us and offer us a tour of the property, which was the highlight of our visit. We toured the multiple areas where wines are fermented and stored, and learned about the genesis of the winery, it's operations, and most importantly it's ethos. By the end of the one hour tour, our brains and taste buds were eager to taste the wines on offer, which we enjoyed tremendously along with the breads they offered (the Brioche was superlative even for the French couple in the group). Visiting Vinãs De Garza was indeed a pleasant surprise, a rare experience where expectations are left in the dust. The visit was by far the highlight of our trip to Valle de Guadalupe. Personally and as a group, we are very thankful to the owners and staff for their warm welcome, and we are in awe of their achievement in creating this little paradise for all visitors. Our entire group is still talking about this experience two days later, and certainly all of us will remember our experience at Vinãs De Garza for a very long, time if not forever.
Nice place and view, but there is not service by the glass, so I was forced to buy a bottle or a tasting package, I had to go to the bar every time I finish the one ounce. In addition, appetizers were served in disposable plastic ware.
Gorgeous place to taste wine and enjoy the valley
Beautiful winery and lovely service. We were a party of 8 and their space accommodated us perfectly. My friends ate I think cheese and maybe prosciutto or however you spell it. I recommend bringing your own snacks if you're the kind of vegan that likes to eat while you drink because I don't find the entire area to be very vegan friendly.

Great way to winery, and the owner has an inspirational story. Ask to see the picture of when he first arrived in the Vale!
Thank you very much Marielena for serving us the other day. We really like you and thank you for being there for us. You did an excellent job in advising us in our wine tasting. What a great place to hangout. We will see you soon again. ~ Jimmy D, and friends....Candice, Cathryn, Gabriel and Danny.
My wife and I visited this winery while in Guadeloupe and fell in love with it. The owner was so friendly and lead our “reserve” tasting. The quality if the wines were amazing and the owner had so many inspirational and entertaining stories that we did not want to leave. Plus his cute little puppy was adorable and kept us entertained as well. Thank you for the memories and the delicious wine, Aimes!
An amazing find. This is my second trip to Valle de Guadalupe and I’ve had a great time both times. This was my favorite winery that I visited this trip. The owner was there and the sweet young lady helping us was so knowledgeable and kind. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the wine was also amazing. They had different varietals and the wine is artistic and full of love. Definitely a must visit.
I’ve been here twice and absolutely love this winery! It’s cute, artistic and the owner is so genuine. Absolutely do a tasting here!
One of those places that you are so proud of finding so unique with lots of history, great wine and the Unexpected Experience. Highly recommended 😍
Loved meeting the winemaker and owner! He led us through our 4 wine tasting, and we loved the Syrah and the Grenache blend. The other two (a red and a white) were also enjoyable, but I liked the first two even more. Come here as your first stop (while you can still taste the wines) - you won’t be disappointed!
Love the view, the story behind how the hold place started is so interesting and there wines are good. Perfecto to relax and just enjoying the valle vibe.

LOVED their wines! We love natural wines and they had a great selection of both natural and conventional wines. We’ll definitely be back. You must stop here if you like supporting family-owned wineries in Baja who really take care of the land.
I fell in love with this vineyard before the world knew Valle de Guadalupe existed. We just finished a bottle of Lenora 2020 and it was excellent. Love the vineyard and love the family.
Really great wine and ambiance!! We are frequent visitors to the area and think this is one of the BEST!!! Highly recommend on a nice warm day sitting out on one of their various patios. Bring your appetite for the meat & cheese plate, some great options. I tried to buy their pate but they only make it fresh every day.
My favorite winery out of 12 different wineries I've visited in the valley. Best tasting wines and very reasonable prices. The view is fantastic, and the vibe is low key and laid back. No pretentiousness. Just good wine and nice staff. Oh and 4 docile, loving dogs for those animal lovers out there. Looking forward to coming back soon! I'm glad to have two bottles to enjoy until then.
I went for a birthday party that a friend of mine was having. About 14 people were there. It was a beautiful place, parking was easy, food (although I’m vegan) looked exceptional, & the prices were very good. As it is something I’ve recently witnessed in the Valle, I feel compelled to say that they do accept dogs. Actually lovingly accept them. The wines were tasty. Nevertheless, overall, I would only come back to take people as they weren’t my personal favorites (generally speaking). There was a Nebbiolo, Cabernet, & i believe Syrah blend that was exceptional. There gift shop is super cute too & has some quality products inside. Friendly service was a big thing & the owner even came & spent some time getting to know us too. She was very sweet. All in all, a beautiful & worthwhile place to visit.
BEST WINES OF OUR TRIP!! Can’t speak more highly of this place. From the minute we parked, Mike (the security guard), walked us in, introduced us to the many beautiful and sweet dogs on the property, and kicked off the most lovely afternoon. From the delicious jams, the old school turntable, and the incredible views to, by far, the best wines we tasted in The Valley, Pijoan was a highlight of our trip. I can not recommend this place more. Thanks to the magnificent staff for a beautiful afternoon.
Fantastic wines in a beautiful setting. Both their Rhone and Bordeaux blends are well done, the Nebbiolo is one of the nicest in the valley, and the garden that provides the herbs for their vermouth is absolutely perfect. Definitely a highlight from our visit.
Added this place to favorites! Serene, beautiful, great service, delicious wine.
