Very nice view, though the road to reach there from either side (from Kathmandu or hetauda) is quite roughy and tiring. There are a number of resorts around the reservoir and good to visit there sometime. Enjoy the view!

A must visit travel destination from Kathmandu. It's just a 2 hr bike ride away from Ktm and you will witness mesmerising view of the lake. Mohini jharna and boating are the major attraction here. You can try both motor boat and simple one however motor bike would surely give you a thrill.

It's quite an amazing place to visit for a day of relaxation from the busy city life. Watching this spectacular largest dam of Nepal is really fun. You can do multiple activities around here, go boating, hiking, visit the near beautiful Mohini Waterfall. You travel here by local bus or your own vehicle. You can also stay in nearby hotels for the night to enjoy the lakeside. If you wanna do some more, then you can go on a hike from here to Chitlang or the other way around. The food around the restaurants are quite affordable and delicious.
