Was really happy with these guys, hired a hardtail bike from them for a few days of riding while on holidays. They dropped the bike off to with a helmet and picked it up again on the last day. The bike was well maintained and in good condition the price was very reasonable. Looking forward using there shuttle survives next time I'm here.

My daughter and I rented a couple of boards from Paul and he helped us get set up and made sure we steered clear of the rocks. We were standing and paddling in no time and have continued paddle boarding since. Thanks for an awesome experience Paul, we'll be back for some surfing lessons soon!

Loving the local library at Umina, there are a great range of books and other resources. The friendly staff are happy to offer assistance, they also coordinate a number of monthly bookgroups, which is a great way to connect with other local readers.

I can’t recommend Sal’s Surf School enough! I’ve just signed up for another term because I loved it so much—not just because I’ve actually made progress (which I didn’t think was possible!), but because the community Sal has built is incredible. As a Canadian who had never surfed before, trying a new sport as an adult—especially after having two babies in two years—felt so intimidating. But from the very first lesson, everyone made me feel welcome and completely supported. Ronnie is amazing—kind, patient, and always encouraging. Even if I spend most of the lesson falling off the board, he somehow makes me feel like I’ve nailed it. And Sal? Her energy is absolutely infectious! She’s done such a fantastic job of creating a space where you feel comfortable, no matter your level. If you’ve been on the fence about learning to surf, stop overthinking it—this is the perfect place to start. You’ll love it!

I've recently moved to the coast and love the community at Umina Beach Yoga. Pip is so welcoming and her pregnancy classes as well as the mums and Bubs classes are the highlight of my week. I've made some beautiful connections and look forward to continuing my practice there 🙏🌹

Nice no wave beach, great for the younger kids to play in the water and has a dog off leash area at the end of the beach. Can get quite busy during school holidays are the is a caravan park there as well
