It's amazing to have real candles - slow burning, non-toxic... the quality is undeniable. I can never go back to buying other lower quality candles after this. Thank you for your beautiful craftsmanship. Much appreciated.
Heaven for any candle lover! Wish we lived closer. Their pricing and quality are unbeatable (I would have paid over $200 at my local candle shop for the same amount of candles I got here for $40) There are so many unique and beautiful candles to choose from and the staff is extremely kind.
These are the best ritual candles I've ever come across - by a long way. They burn absolutely magically - something in their old school techniques... They've got some different and interesting candles as well. But really, it's those Traditional dinner tapers that will make you feel like it's 500 or 1000 years ago when they're burning. I also really LOVE their pyramid candles, with lots of different colours and scents - but I haven't had much of a chance to burn these yet... You'll find these Nimbin candles all around the region, because they're that good. So, definitely worth checking into the factory where they're made when you're around town!
Dropped in a few months ago and it was such an awesome experience, you don’t expect much from a candle store but this one is like no other!! Loved learning about how they are produced and all the different ways they reduce candle wastage! Thank you for providing a tour and giving us the full experience :) Will be back again to stock up very soon 😊😊
A must visit if you are in Nimbin. My only regret is I wish I'd bought more candles.
Majorly chilled out place. They allow you to walk through the whole candle factory. These guys have even made candles for many Hollywood movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Thor, Pacific Rim and while we were there they were shipping candles to the movie set of Godzilla vs King Kong.
Cute candle shop.. lady was very friendly behind the counter. There are so many candles to choose from and all very cheaply priced. Great for yourself or even for gifts 🎁
I love everywhere in Nimbin however I am developing some favourite shops. I have always loved the essence of wax. Nimbin Candles essence is extra special and filled with the aromas of incense and an essence that crafted auras and creativity throughout in my mind's eye 🤩🙌

Glad we checked out Nimbin Rocks. There’s a viewing area by the side of the road. Would love it if a hiking trail was setup!
Spectacular tall rhyolite rock formations created around 20 million years ago from the eruption of the Mount Warning Tweed Volcano (refer Google). There doesn’t appear to be any way to drive or walk closer to the rocks without trespassing on private property so viewing from the road to Nimbin may be the only (legal) option. Except for those with drones of course.. These rocks are incredible to behold and well worth a visit.
You can see the Nimbin Rocks along the road to Nimbin, there are a few pull in places along the road to stop and take pictures, it is worth the trip as its very pretty. . Nimbin it's self, won't be for everyone. However, if your a hippy or a new age person then this is a must go to spot for you. It will more than likely have everything you could need. . The markets there are small, but if you want a tarot reading or something like that, you will be able to get one there or even in the main street.
Amazing geology. Remnants of a 500 million year old volcano with no direct car access so you need to hike there old school style.
"NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO THE NIMBIN ROCKS" PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE PRIVATE PROPERTY SIGN AS THERE IS ABSOUTELY NO ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC OR ANYBODY FOR THAT MATTER AS THE NIMBIN ROCKS IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY - SO PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING AND DO NOT ENTER THE PROPERTY AS ALL PEOPLE FOUND DRIVING WILL BE POLITELY ASKED TO TURN AROUND AND LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.. AGAIN THERE IS ABSOUTELY "NO ACCESS" ALLOWED TO PUBLIC OR LOCALS TO THE NIMBIN ROCKS. YOU CAN VIEW THE ROCKS FROM NIMBIN ROAD ALSO A NICE VIEW ON STONY CHUTE ROAD AS WELL. THANK YOU.
Truly an Amazing place...
Listen, if you're viewing it from the main road nimbin rocks is pretty awesome, but be warned the road up to the rocks themselves is NOT SUITABLE FOR 2WD. Tried to drive up there in our van and it was so dodgy.
The Nimbin Rocks are volcanic extrusions of rhyolite left over from the Mount Warning Tweed Volcano that erupted around 20 million years ago in what is now northern New South Wales, Australia. As part of an eroded dyke of the volcano, the Rocks are situated just outside the present day caldera wall about 20 km from Mount Warning and three kilometers from Nimbin village. The three most prominent were named by early white settlers as the Thimble, Cathedral and Needle. They are an extremely significant cultural site to the local Bundjalung tribe of indigenous Australians who believe the rocks were home to the Nmbngee, or Clever Men. They were also initiation grounds for young boys and the dreaming story can be read at the Nimbin Museum. The Nimbin Rocks are comprised mainly of the quartz rich volcanic rock called rhyolite overlying a section of agglomerates (reworked volcanic rock) and volcanic glass known as perlite. Below the perlite lies basalts of the Kyogle Basalt. And here may lie the clue. The rocks appear to be layered because they are deposited on top of each other. First the Kyogle Basalt, then the perlite and agglomerates and then the rhyolite lavas (with some bands of perlite within it). The rhyolitic lavas are referred to as the Georgica Rhyolite Member according to Duggan and Mason (1974), or historically and more recently as Nimbin Rhyolite according to McElroy (1962) and Cotter (1998) and others. If the Nimbin Rocks were related to a dyke they would have formed through pushing through the surrounding rocks such as those of the Kyogle Basalt or the Clarence Moreton Basin sediments, metamorphosing them and displaying different diagnostic textures than those I know about. However, it is still quite possible that the rocks may have been vents since the nearest identified vents seem to be about 8km away to the north east in the Nightcap Ranges and rhyolite lava flows tend to not move great distances, indeed rarely greater than 5km. However, the vents located further into the Nightcap Ranges are characterised by thick erosion resistant units of rhyolite which we don't see so much near Nimbin other than the Nimbin Rocks themselves. But conversely, the shape of the rock monoliths does imply a dyke.

Absolutely love this shop! So many beautiful products, a lot of them local 💗 staff are always so friendly and happy to help! My go to in town for gifts!
Love getting lost in all the beauty and aww of nimbin gallery . 💚🌻
Fabulous shopping experience. The best local craft - from candles to tie dye, ceramics, art, knitwear, jewelry, unique baby and children's clothing and so much more. You'll find everything to complete your Nimbin experience here, including knowledgeable and helpful staff. And it smells divine too. Don't miss it!
Nimbin Craft Gallery is my favourite place now to buy T-Shirts. They have a great range of jewellery and other things, however I hone in on their T-Shirts when I go there. They have a local range of organic cotton T's that sell under the brand IZWOZ. Great artwork and so soft to wear for about $38.00
I took my wife to Nimbin as a surprise and she was surprised alright!! The staff were so rude it was shocking ' I've never written a bad review before I have to though for this place ! I was absolutely appalled that a manager or owner could be so rude above everyone else and made my wife nearly cry. Would not recommend the place to anyone
Artsy craft shop filled with hemp clothing and lots of nic nacs, fun to browse and buy, worth the stop by and convenient eatery right next door.
Hi, I'm just wondering if you sell real Moldavite ? Or know of anyone in Nimbin that does ? Thanks. 💚
Nice selection of stuff. Good clothes if you like the style.

Djanbung Gardens was everything I anticipated and more. I attended a wonderful workshop learnt valuable information that I'm now trying in my own yard, furthermore I highly recommend that you visit. Children will love exploring all there is to see and learn about here in Djanbung Permaculture Gardens and they can share this knowledge to those around them🥰 🌱🙌
A magical permaculture garden just outside of Nimbin. A lovely place with friendly people and a great community spirit.
Well if there wasn't a do there I would not go. Food is very expensive and has very small servings. The Brushetta was a joke.
Extensive plants, extensive mess. Could do with lots of tlc
Google says it's open. It clearly is not. Even the "opening hours" signs out the front have conflicting info. 🤷
Whether we come to learn, dance, sit and yarn, or facilitate, Djanbung provides. We’re just happy this place exists. It’s be a lot less colourful around here. X
As interstate visitors, we were keen to visit the garden. However the signage was conflicting. Open 10-3 and also closed??? How does that work? We were there late afternoon so we returned the next day a bit earlier to see the same signs. So we wandered in to the office, met a lady in the driveway that advised they were closed. I asked when was a better time? "Well my mums in hospital so its not a good time" and stormed off. I can understand that stuff but her attitude was hostile. Not even welcome to wander around without her. Not the usual reception one experienced previously. I hope she changes her cranky pants. The garden seems to be lacking the love. And getting overgrown.
We drove 2 hours to attend the advertised 11am garden tour. We arrived at the overgrown and all but deserted remnants of a once great garden and we’re told the tours have not been happening for some time due to a change in circumstances. I love all gardens from rambling and messy to neat and manicured but found this trip to be a complete waste of time. The advertising for this garden should be removed until the owners have more time to get the place back in order.
