What a beautiful beach here. Well maintained. Walking along the beach to Mooloolaba was a nice walk. Wheelchair and pram friendly path, some of the entry points to the beach aren't. There are shops close by as well. Highly recommend going to have a look. Great place for the whole family. Good spot to sit and watch the boats go by or surfers. There is a playground close by as well.🙂🙂

Lovely beach, found a cute little crab and called him Jerry! Definitely recommend.

Holiday destination must! Check out everyone photos, it's exactly the same in real life. Really friendly locals. Nice to see a place that depicts our national anthem, haven't seen many places like this in current years.

The beach is just beautiful,i really enjoyed my time there collecting shells and took some back to Cairns. Its so beautiful, enjoyed surfing and waves so amazing
Jessica A — Google review
What can I say? The whole beach from Maroochydore thru Alexandra Headland to Mooloolaba is gorgeous. The water is always warm and you can find a suitable area for all the family - even on a rough day, the eastern end of the beach is calm (near the Mooloolaba Spit Rock Wall).

Just beautiful and I was worried to take mum as she's I'll but we had our fish n chips like we did years ago.. everyone was social distancing .. it was good to see

Sunshine Plaza

Mentioned on

Shopping mall
Shopping
Sunshine Plaza is the ultimate shopping and entertainment complex on the Sunshine Coast, featuring a vast array of shops, restaurants, and leisure activities. The recently opened new wing boasts big-name department stores like David Jones and BigW, while the waterfront promenade offers a picturesque setting for dining at waterside cafes. With over 200 shops connected by bridges over Cornmeal Creek, this sunlit indoor/outdoor mall is perfect for finding bargains or indulging in a shopping spree.
As the largest shopping center on the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Plaza was bustling during my visit. While the layout can feel a bit maze-like for newcomers, there are so many interesting stores and a variety of food, drink, and restaurant options around every corner. There's truly a lot to see and do, with people, pets, food, drinks, and music creating a lively atmosphere. It's definitely a must-visit, especially to check out the TGIF and the paddle boats on the water!
Jess H — Google review
I’ve been coming to this place since the early 90s with my family. It’s still amazing. Best place for shopping.
Y R — Google review
Got harassed and followed to my car by 2 security officers for taking a photo of the water where the restaurants are. I was filmed on their body cam and saw them noting down my rego as i was entering the car. I only took a photo to show my significant other because I’m from out of town. A lot of others were too but I was singled out. A respectful talk saying that photography wasnt allowed would have been better, but the way i was treated was like i was shoplifting or being a criminal. Wouldn’t recommend going here (Attached are the 3 “illegal” photos i took. Can’t believe that I was treated like this for these)
James M — Google review
Im a man, I don’t love shopping. I have been in many countries around the 🌍 world. But sunshine plaza have something special, that’s why I spend lots of time here and I buy all what I need for home, for me and sometimes for my work in this amazing shopping centre. And my favourite thing about the plaza are this massage chairs haha Im addicted!!! 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️ Thanks Plaza! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Mauricio 🇮🇹🍀
Mauricio A — Google review
Many shops around, we were looking for a place to eat and found Grill’d and Yochi for a well-deserved yoghurt dessert after our meal.
Jordan T — Google review
I’m not usually someone who enjoys shopping, but Sunshine Plaza has completely changed that for me. The atmosphere is so open, vibrant, and relaxed that it never feels like your typical crowded shopping centre. The beautiful river running through the middle, the lush greenery, and the breezy layout make it feel more like a resort than a mall. There’s an amazing mix of shops and plenty of quiet corners to sit, relax, or grab a coffee with a view. The centre is spotless, well laid out, and the staff are always friendly. Parking is easy, and there are great entertainment options like the cinema and paddle boats — perfect for a chill day out. Even as someone who usually dreads shopping trips, I actually look forward to coming here. Sunshine Plaza is a gem on the Sunshine Coast!
Dante S — Google review
One of the best shopping centres I've ever been to, with iconic clothing shops, cozy cafes, multiple food places and even the opportunity to go on a mini boat ride on the river. I'm only giving it four stars since most people lack common sense when walking around, because does it really hurt you to not be next to your annoying friends for 5 seconds?
Moona E — Google review
Sunshine Plaza is always a nice place to visit, with a good mix of shops and plenty of car parking, which makes trips a lot easier. The atmosphere is usually relaxed, and it’s a convenient spot to spend a few hours shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just walking around.

The guys were so friendly and helpful for using the boat and getting on and off shore. Easy to use. Easily fit our number of people. BBQ boat was great for lunch too!

We had the most incredible time on the river rush JetSki tour! Sam and Noah made us feel so comfortable and answered all our questions with patience and care. They made the experience well worth it. Noah was a wonderful tour guide and gave us the perfect experience!

We love these guys! My son and I love to hire a little boat to do a bit of fishing up the river, and the team at Swan are always super helpful and friendly. We’ve also hired a SUP. It’s now a regular school holiday hire for us 😀

Such a fun and relaxing activity to enjoy with friends or family at a great price! The boats are easy to operate, well-maintained, and come with everything you need for a few hours of fishing, swimming, or just chilling with a BBQ on the river. The staff team is fantastic—friendly, helpful, and really make the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Manuel S — Google review
Best ‘to do’ in town. Super friendly staff, great jet skis beautiful river trip and out into the ocean.
Jim W — Google review
We hired the 12 seater BBQ boat last weekend. There was only 5 of us so we had plenty of room and a toilet also, which was nice. Only thing I'd think about next time is a ladder for getting on/off the boat as it was a tad difficult for my young kids to do on their own, but we managed. The staff are so helpful and really friendly. They go through everything in great detail and provide you heaps on info on what to do and where to go. We had the best time, was an awesome first experience with a bbq boat and my kids absolutely loved it! We will definitely be hiring a boat again in the future with these guys 👍👍👍

Fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we absolutely loved our time on the boat. Huge thanks to Dusty for looking after us.. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous view over the river 😍
Gabrielle M — Google review
Very picturesque park situated on the banks of Maroochy river. Has a variety of swings and playground for the kids and bbq facilities. Also has the war memorial which is very nice. Toilets and undercover picnic tables and bbq. There is also a public jetty available. The area can be quite busy on weekends so parking can be difficult. Play areas are not fenced off so watch little ones near the water and busy road. Close to cafes as well.
Denise C — Google review
Great park, just next to water and having a good playground for kids too. Many people with different activities, e.g. jogging, fishing, boating, which makes the park very lively.
Hoan N — Google review
What a beautiful park to stroll on, on the other side a cross the road there cafes as well plenty to choose from. Quiet water for little kiddies to splash around. Rotary respectful 🙏 towards the Anzac. When it gets busy it's hard to find a parking. Pinics, BBQ area & play ground area. Ppl with special needs would be perfect for them as the water is flat & calming.
Spectrum L — Google review
A beautiful spot for a picnic or a dip. Ideal spot for paddle boarding. There is an amenity block, picnic shelters and a playground, so it's a great spot for families. There is a 2 hour parking limit Monday to Sunday, 8:30am to 5pm.
Tegan G — Google review
Very nice, great park , beside the river, good walking and bike track, with a bar at the end

Cool spot! Lots of open space, benches - uncovered or covered if you want. Parking was fine - might have been lucky though as it looked busy. Nice place for a morning stroll. It got quite busy as the day went on. Great 👍🏻

Rush Adventureland

Indoor playground
Rush Adventureland is the Sunshine Coast's largest indoor playground and adventure center, offering a variety of activities for kids of all ages. Visitors can expect to find rock climbing walls, slides, and plenty of space to run around. The staff are attentive and helpful, often engaging with the children and ensuring a fun experience. The on-site cafe serves generous portions of food, including hot chips that come highly recommended.
We had such a wonderful morning here. There was so much for our 6 year old to conquer, the climbing wall area and dodgem cars were highlights but the entire experience was fantastic. The staff were all so kind and patience; a special thank you to Shauna who was clearly very experienced in working with kiddies on the spectrum and made our son’s morning so much more wonderful.
Jodie K — Google review
Do not bring your toddlers here if you value their safety and well being. Visited on Saturday 31/05/2025 with our 2 year old. Asked the staff member at the entrance before purchasing the tickets whether the toddler area was restricted to toddlers. He advised that it was. There is also a sign at the entrance of the toddler area that very clearly states: "THIS AREA IS FOR 1-3 YEARS ONLY, TODDLER WRISTBANDS ONLY". However, the area was full of children who would have been 8-9 years old, if not older and they were showing absolutely no regard to the toddlers who were actually supposed to be in there. Some of these older children were pegging balls at eachother from the ball pit and throwing them out side of the fence, they were running around like crazy hogging the climbing area so the younger children couldn't use it and worst of all my son got stomped on by one of them in the ball pit. The staff simply don't care about this behaviour either, there is not a single one policing the toddler area and not a single one even walked past. I approached the staff at the front 3 times asking for them to send a staff member to remove the older children and not once did they do this. We then decided to take our son out to get some food. The pizza we ordered was cold and had way too much sauce, it was inedible. After that, we decided to just leave. I was absolutely disgusted with this place and will not be returning and will be also telling everyone we know with children to avoid this place.
Matt T — Google review
Great place for kids to have fun! We recently had a party there also, as per my child's wishes. The staff were extremely helpful on the day. The over the phone communication at times was frustrating depending what staff you called for information. Some young staff seemed disinterested in answering questions and others were more helpful. On the day everything flowed really well and all of the staff were great. Best part about having a party at rush was seeing the kids have fun but also, no after party cleanup. Supervision was easy and they took care of all of the catering (minus the cake). I'd have a party there in future
Roxy K — Google review
This place is always a great option for the kids. It’s a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it to let them burn off some energy, especially on a rainy day. The staff are lovely—friendly, and really attentive when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness. My only criticism is the chicken nuggets from the café—they were terrible. Even the kids wouldn’t eat them.
Sum C — Google review
Poor customer service felt like we were inconveniencing them. Largest play centre on Sunshine Coast and a sub par standard. Don't waste your money
Daniel V — Google review
We have had a great morning at Rush Adventureland! Only negative is the toddler area is quite small and not fenced, so a few meltdowns of toddlers I saw wanting to go with the “big kids”, although not generally enforced. Coffee and milkshakes were excellent. A great fun day out with the kids rain, hail or shine.
Tess M — Google review
Daughters and her friend loved playing here. Was disappointing to see the high coaster was closed on a public holiday. Was told they only open the high coaster on weekends. Bumper cars $10 ride is seem pretty steep for 1 turn.
Nikola D — Google review
Great day for the kids ages 7 &.8 a little expensive compared to others, but lots of fun to be had . It’s clean and has good food The best part is the staff - they’re so friendly and helpful to young kids .

Great park! Nice space to bring the family for a BBQ as there is plenty of facilities. Also plenty of benches to sit and watch the world on water go by. Boat ramp is usually quiet and the paths around this area are good circuit tracks for afternoon exercise.

Great shaded park ,but parking limited and public toilets are a far walk But close to a good bakery and coffee shop and swimming
Sally J — Google review
Beautiful with sheltered seating and BBQ's a plenty
Elmo L — Google review
There is no water bubblers or a tap...and the springy equipment under the tree is so dangerous with all the bark under it my son's foot got stuck if I didn't see it the other kids would have jumped and broke his foot without a doubt.
Tiffany “ — Google review
This place would be 5☆ every day if it were not for the total Richard Cranium's on Jet Skis, who completely disregard the 6 Knot law & the safety of other watercraft users. They are a blight on the coast & it's ambient public spaces!
GJ B — Google review
I love how it's gated and also the playground equipment is nice. That must likely the only nice things about it. I find always dirty 4 different times 4 different days. It always has bat dropping as well as bird dropping all over everything. The equipment is always dirty. Every other park on the coast is beautiful and clean so don't understand why this one is so different in the recept. As it could be such an awesome park with a but of love to it.
Shortys C — Google review
Quaint little Park on the river, fully fenced, leashed dog friendly I believe and a simple but effective swing and slide setup, great for the 0-3 year olds in the family
Adam P — Google review
So, I dropped the van off at Mates Garage in Warana, had some time to kill so went for a walk towards Kawana. Because I've a friend on Maroochy River - towards the hills - I've been doing a fair bit of paddling in a kayak, so I stopped in at the Kayak and SUP store - the one once owned by Jim Woodriff and had a look at new boaty things. Ol mate looked as though he'd sell me a briefcase of hand grenades if I'd asked, so I enquired where I could "test drive" some of the kayaks displayed in-store. He told me that "Swan Boat Hire" at Maroochy would have the watercraft I was after and if I hired it, when I bought the boat off him, he'd credit me the price of the hire. I had no intention of walking to Maroochydore, yet that's where I ended up. 3 hours and 15km later I sat here, watching an older man battle his personal plastic floating device that looked a lot like the thing the would be arms dealer would have sold me on the spot had I let him. I even walked the extra kilometer, hired a kayak fitting the description, paddled past Chamber's and Goat Islands, across the bar and headed back, unsatisfied with the buoyancy, the sluggishness, the lack of commonsensical features/additions, then I started hating on nature; the wind, the current, the people looking out from buildings-looking at me - seemingly upset I'm looking at them - so I told myself. Update: I've done the "Yandina Lap" (Yandina->Maroochy Mouth -> Yandina) 3 times now and have stopped here twice. Wouldn't recommend doing so on a low tide... or by kayak to be frank but it's still a great spot all the same.

Market Bistro

Restaurant
Market Bistro is a cozy and inviting restaurant nestled in the heart of Maroochydore. The menu showcases a variety of creative European dishes, all crafted using locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients. From delectable homemade pasta to slow-cooked lamb and wood-fired meats, there's something for every palate. Owned by experienced hospitality professionals, the bistro offers an elegant yet unpretentious dining experience.
We have officially found our newest and favourite date night restaurant. My husband was blown away by his entree and main meal. I ordered the garlic brioche instead of an entree and it was delicious. My husband had the absolutely moorish scallops and let me steal one from him and OMG they were so soft, buttery and divine. Our mains were lobster ravioli and the Oven roasted lamb rack, where I had total food envy of my husbands meal so stole a couple of bites of his lamb. The ravioli was nice but possibly not something I would order again. I took the leftovers home and my 15yr old daughter ate it declaring it to be the best food she’s ever had. We are planning our next visit and can’t wait to return as the food, service and atmosphere were all perfect.
Steila ( — Google review
The scallops were overwhelmed by the Paris Butter taste in our opinion. They gave us five versus four on the menu due to the small size. The prawns were under whelming in taste also. The oysters were wonderful. Great freshness and flavor.
Charles S — Google review
PSA: Do NOT say you are sharing your meals! We asked for the bugs and a pasta as a main and they served and charged us for 2 x main servings of bugs which led to a very expensive dinner and way too much food. Otherwise everything was very tasty.
Holly P — Google review
Really nice atmosphere. Great menu with enough choices to make you want to return. Open area seating with glassed in walls to the streets. Kilpatricks & scallops for entrees were delicious. Followed by the Wagyu & trout for mains. Both were delicious and large servings.
Randy D — Google review
If you haven't been to Market Bistro, do yourself a favour! This classy restaurant, is one of the absolute bests on Sunshine Coast, located diagonally across from super cool, SC Council office building. Nick, Emma and team will certainly look after you. The food and beverage menu's present a variety of delicious offerings. The quality is second to none. Parking stations are all around...or just catch an uber or cab. See you again team MB. 😉 ❣️✔️👌

A wonderful dining experience. I was invited here by my dear friend, my dearest I must say; and was pleasantly surprised by the entreés. The beef tartar was exquisite and the gnocchi as well. Marco our server was incredibly attentive and gracious! Our hostess was also amazing and quick to bring our starting drinks. All in all a memorable place and I very much reccomend it to anyone visiting the Sunny Coast!
Oscar L — Google review
Amazing experience with my gf! Definitely coming back again! Highly recommend. I like the pasta and carrots.

Thoroughly enjoyed a Christmas eve dinner this evening at Market Bistro. Atmosphere was fantastic and the service was second to none. The venue is super stylish and has great decor. Plenty of seating options, bar seating, table, group or function/private room. The quality of the food was great and the serving portions were of a good size. Small issue the some of the mains could of been cooked a little bit longer (pork cutlet - just to caramelise the fat) but was still delicious. Do yourself a favour and book an experience in the new year....treat yourself!

Giddy Geisha

Japanese restaurant
Giddy Geisha is a trendy cafe with an industrial atmosphere that serves modern Asian street food such as curries and eggplant chips. It is brought to you by well-known and successful restaurateurs who have also created popular spots like Junk and Rice Boi. The venue has a grungy urban vibe, and the enticing aromas from the kitchen immediately captivate your senses.
There was a bit of wait for the food to be served on a busy Thursday evening. However they found me a table quite quickly. The food tastes nice and is well presented. I tried the eggplant chips and fried pumpkin dumplings in veggie curry . The venue has some lovely green plants at the entrance.
Amelia Z — Google review
Not my favourite restaurant experience. I expect this place has been too successful for its own good as it was certainly busy but I was underwhelmed. The food was edible but not extraordinary. Orders are taken at a central station that required lining up after making choices at your table. It's cost efficient but impersonal. The person taking our orders on the day was cold -- maybe not rude but they had a short attitude; maybe they were having a bad day. There was a mixup with our order that was addressed but it took a few attempts to get right. The whole experience was disappointing.

Absolute MUST! I eat here every time I’m in Maroochydore. The first time I ate here with my husband, we didn’t even speak, just looked at each other in amazement because the good was off the charts! In making my way through the menu and EVERYTHING is just bloody beautiful!

Me and my boyfriend went here for dinner and it was AMAZING. It was his first time and the food, staff and vibes were perfect. Staff didnt hover and make you feel uncomfortable an awkward, but made you feel acknowledged and more than welcome, especially lovely girl Keily, with smiles all over and quick food and service. Portion size was definitely generous, super tasty and filling. Overall, this place is amazing and we both definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit!!🩷🩷🤗

“Get the kingfish sashimi. Best thing on the menu at Giddy Geisha,” my brother declared, as if delivering the Ten Commandments. Well, now I had no choice. The sashimi arrived - delicate slices of kingfish dressed with lemongrass, nước chấm, pork floss, Thai basil, and tapioca chips. Fragrant, fresh, a masterclass in texture and flavour. At $21, a steal for something this good, but not exactly filling. So, we pressed on: yellow curry with fried pumpkin wontons, gailan, coconut, and jasmine rice. Rich, layered, the kind of thing that makes you resent every bland takeaway curry you’ve ever suffered through. Crisp, golden roti to scoop up every last drop. And spring rolls - some of the best I’ve had, full stop. My three-year-old is in the trenches of a picky eating phase, where even the suggestion of a new flavour is met with suspicion. Thankfully, the staff were happy to put together a simple side of noodles, and for her serving of edamame they put the GG spice wisely on the side. For food this good, I expected a bit of ceremony, maybe a waiter describing the dish like a fine wine. But Giddy Geisha keeps it casual - no reservations, order at the counter, grab a seat, no fuss. If you're after white tablecloths and murmured conversation, look elsewhere. If you want a damn good meal, I’ll see you there.

Food was brilliant! Crying tiger is a must have, very fresh and spicy. Very understaffed though. Poor girl was running around the whole restaurant. Lovely young lady! Even though it was extremely busy, she was patient, attentive, and super friendly especially when stopping to help us with the menu. Lovely staff employed! Definitely coming back.

Liked the vibe and hall staffs are very friendly although it was busy. However, the food was disappointed. Everything was salty and they put too much sauce on food. I hope this feed help them improve their food.

🤩 A must visit if you are on the sunny coast. We tried a heap of the menu items and they were all outstanding. The Eggplant Fries, Beef Spring rolls and Chicken Sando were our favorites. The Bruce Lee cocktail was also yum! The staff were kind and professional on our visit, not to mention super efficient. The kitchen works so fast, it’s amazing they can pump out such delicious food so quickly. The atmosphere and interior is cool. It gets busy past 5:30/6pm so definitely recommend visiting earlier in the evening to avoid waiting or missing out. The pricing was very reasonable considering the quality and portions. Between four people we ordered four cocktails, four sides and five main options - costing us around $210 total.

Restaurant
The Boat Shed & The Boat Shed Takeaway offer a stunning panoramic view of the Maroochy River, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal or special occasion. The modern Australian menu features creative mains, tapas, and desserts, with options like fresh oysters with pomelo and mint or kangaroo loin with red wine braised cabbage. For a more casual experience, visitors can grab fish and chips from the takeaway window and enjoy a picnic in the park while watching the sunset.
One of the best Fish & Chip locations on the Coast. Location is stunning on a sunny day. Eat in the restaurant or take away and relax on the outdoor fringe with stunning views and lovely vibes. This particular day, there was live music 🎶 happening in the outdoor section of the restaurant so we got to enjoy that as a bonus. See the pics 📸 and watch the video 📹 below for what I am writing about. Highly recommend this place.

Did a birthday celebration in the main restaurant - food was good and service was ok. We went on a Friday for an early dinner and unfortunately it was so loud with the outdoor DJ and many people drinking along the front it is not the ideal place to have relaxing dinner. Would be better to go later in the evening and hope the rowdiness has calmed down but I can’t confirm. We were seated right next to the water which was nice but many people are sitting right next to you drinking which gives more a PUB vibe. The lights get really dark after 6pm so hard to see the menu or the food. Someone also smashed a beer glass at the front of the restaurant where people were drinking and it took awhile for staff to clear. Food was enjoyable and the dessert was delicious. Would not go back however.

Great place with an amazing view. The food was fantastic and the service super friendly and attentive. Doesn’t get much better than this if you’re looking for somewhere beautiful by the beach.

We had a fabulous lunch here! We opted to share our dishes so we could try a bit of everything and it did not disappoint. Mussels and eggplant salad were a stand out.

What a lovely day out! We came across this by accident because we were looking for a last minute feed only to come across this at the back of the cotton tree car park! Right on the water it is a beautiful and relaxing place coupled with beautiful food, it was a great place to find, and have been back since. Great food, great service and an amazing beach view.

I arrived at the restaurant and was waiting to be acknowledged by a staff member. A waitress walked right past me twice, completely ignoring my presence.I eventually approached her to ask for a table and how the ordering worked. She answered, "We are fully booked, only tapas outside." Without any sympathy, she handed me the tapas menu and walked away. She didn't ask how many people were in my party or what time I wanted to eat. There was no attempt to accommodate me, just a dry, careless service. It's a real shame, as the restaurant was completely empty, and I only wanted a quick lunch for one person, which would have been easily possible. I understand when a place is genuinely busy, but in this case, her lack of effort was completely unwarranted.
Joao P — Google review
We came back again as the service was EXCEPTIONAL the day prior! One of our party had an episode, (read, severe blood nose) and they handled it with dignity, grace, professionalism, care and consideration. Gave him a staff shirt to wear home and wasn’t fazed with what happened to their napkin! Unbelievable!😍🥰 Apart from that, the food was TOP NOTCH!!! Magnificently presented, interesting combinations and generous servings. Both days were exceptional! Thank you so much!!!!

Modern Australian restaurant
Harry's On Buderim is a renowned fine dining restaurant located in the picturesque Buderim Forest Park on the Sunshine Coast. The restaurant is housed in a charming century-old homestead and offers modern Australian cuisine crafted by award-winning chef and owner Stuart Bell. The menu features seasonal dishes made with fresh, local produce sourced from nearby suppliers. Guests can enjoy their meals on the veranda, which provides stunning views of the rainforest and parklands.
This place really exceeded our expectations in every respect. The location, the ambience (including the soft French music), the attentiveness of the waiters (Dane & 'Hercule Poirot'), the food and presentation - and is there more? This place is 'fine dining' par excellence!! And I recommend a lovely amble up the 600m boardwalk plus another 200m to the little rock pool with waterfalls for a most refreshing dip afterwards... Now this is true living!!

What a great little place that gives you the next level in food and service. The prefect spot to tell anyone who is looking for somewhere “nice” to go. Can’t fault any meal we had. Lamb, steak and vegetarian all superb

I just wanted to leave a review about how wonderful our wedding reception at Harry’s on Buderim was. Peter and the excellent staff made the night flow effortlessly from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent (as always) and they had set the tables to the simple elegant look I wanted ( thanks to Peter who was only too happy to have meeting beforehand). It was a night I will never forget thank you for making it so special Tyler

We had the most amazing experience at Harry’s on Buderim. The food was absolutely impeccable every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into everything. The service was fantastic too, friendly, attentive, and made us feel so well looked after without being over the top. The setting is lovely and romantic, making it the perfect spot for a date night. Honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had on the Sunshine Coast — we’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely divine! Octopus entree was the best we have had, sirloin steak just perfect and the parsnips were sweet, pork was well flavoured and staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. We are looking forward to eating here again.
A&A T — Google review
Delightful restaurant in a lovely setting at the foothills of Buderim forest. This is a high end establishment, with high end prices. We dined in the 'Fire Room', in one section of the building which had a wonderful open fire. This room was fully booked with 14 people dining here on this occasion, and unfortunately we found it a bit noisy in such a small room. There are plenty of other options where to dine, such as out on the decking overlooking a grassed area with trees surrounding, but the open fire was quite cozy. We all enjoyed our meal - adequate selection to cater for most peoples taste. Plenty of waitresses, and excellent service. Good selection of fine wines, with huge mark-up prices, this seems to be the practice at 'fine dining' restaurants. Be aware that there is Weekend Surcharge of 10% as well at 1.6% Card Surcharge. I've never heard of a 'weekend surcharge' before. Harry's on Buderim is a unique restaurant, well worth a visit for that special occasion.
Chris C — Google review
It was the best dining experience I've had on the Sunshine Coast! Large portions, full of flavour, divine wine 🍷 😋... and the dessert selections were top tier! Definitely will be back here!!!!
Kelly S — Google review
Barramundi selection was tasty but not exceptional. Wine selection per glass limited. Did not stay for dessert because of arrogant and disinterested attitude of waitperson. Very disappointing. Restaurant chosen for setting in forest and in old home for birthday celebration with neighbour. Training for staff in basic good manners and pleasant attention to customers is recommended to justify menu and prices and to augment the lovely setting. Many good dining places on Sunshine Coast with pleasant staff to complement excellent food so not planning a return to or recommendation of Harry's.

La Canteena Alleyway Bar is a popular spot in Maroochydore that offers delicious Mexican cuisine and refreshing drinks. The bar has a vibrant beer garden with festoon lighting, hanging greenery, and colorful tables where you can enjoy your meals. On Sundays, they offer great deals on food and frozen cocktail slushies while hosting live music in the garden. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of Margarita Monday specials starting at 5pm.
Had the BEST time yesterday (7/12/24) with bottomless margaritas and incredible Mexican food! The food was delicious, and the margaritas kept flowing smoothly, but what really made it amazing was the staff. Sam, Melissa, Graham, and the rest of the crew (sorry I forgot some names!) were absolute legends—so friendly, organised, and just the coolest team. They made the whole experience seamless and so much fun. Honestly, can’t recommend this place enough! 10/10 vibes, and we’ll definitely be back. 🌮🍹🎉

Nice atmosphere on a warm summer day. Interesting menu and large drinks selection. Really enjoyed the chicken tacos but not the pork. The unusual jalapeno poppers were ok for someone who doesn't like jalapeno peppers. Just some cream cheese with very little jalapeno chopped up in them.
David P — Google review
We came here on a Monday night to celebrate my partner’s birthday. It was quiet but the ambience was great. We were greeted quickly and informed about their $10 margarita and unlimited chips and guacamole special. There were decent vegan options that were different to the usual Mexican choices we’re given. Everything was delicious. The corn chips weren’t the best which is why I’m giving 4/5 stars for food. Ideally it’d be a 4.5, though. We had a great time and were well looked after.
Wallea E — Google review
The lady behind the bar when I ordered really gave the vibe she didn’t want to be there. The food was very basic, certainly had better. The chicken bites over cooked and the nachos plain and boring. Corn chips were nice and crispy though Wouldn’t go back, staff inattentive and food sub standard

We were so incredibly happy with the staff at this venue. It was pouring rain, they had such a positive fun vibe about them. They accommodated everyone and were so chill. I was expecting great things from La Canteena but was slightly disappointed. The food is great and well proportioned, it just takes 35-40 mins for the order to arrive at the table. The wait time gave us a chance to enjoy some of the cocktails but even these were only average.....they had all the hallmarks of a good cocktail but the taste was not balanced. On a positive note the $10 Frozen Margarita and share pizzas are a win

The restaurant offers an exquisite Asian-fusion menu featuring delectable dishes such as salt and pepper tofu with spicy coriander relish, sweet potato noodle balls in black vinegar caramel, succulent braised beef intercostals, and twice-cooked pork belly.
The staff are incredibly friendly, and the owner is passionate about his craft and a pleasure to talk to. The cocktails are truly next-level, and the food menu is just as delicious. I'll definitely be back!

We went to opening night and so happy to see Corbin’s alive again! The new owner has done a fabulous job and clearly knows what he is doing. The cocktails were amazing , the wine list clever and the food! Wow, superb fresh ingredients and with a Mediterranean hint, the chef is just very very good. I had to be convinced to order the calamari but they were honestly the best I’ve had. The oysters were fresh. We further had the anchovies on sourdough with ricotta, a very well balanced baba ganoush and burrata. The house made focaccia is to die for. We can’t wait to try the rest of the menu very soon !

✨ Corb-ns , Maroochydore – A Must-Visit! ✨ What an incredible dining experience! We kicked things off with the baking CFC chicken (wow!) and the fresh focaccia with eggplant – both absolutely delicious and the perfect start to the night. The standout for me was the gin cocktail 🍸 – a refreshing mix of gin, cucumber, basil, elderflower, and more. Honestly, one of the best cocktails I’ve had on the Coast! Every detail at Corb-ns shines: ⭐ Brilliant flavours ⭐ A menu that balances comfort with creativity ⭐ 5-star service – warm, attentive, and perfectly paced If you’re after a spot that delivers incredible food, outstanding cocktails, and a welcoming vibe, Corb-ns is the place to be. 🌿🍴 Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

Junk Maroochydore, a well-established restaurant on Ocean Street, is undergoing a significant transformation with a $600,000 refurbishment. The revamp will introduce a vibrant new look featuring an expansive cocktail bar, catering to pre- and post-dinner drinks. This popular dining spot has been serving up an eclectic mix of Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Chinese street-style cuisine for the past decade.
We dined at Junk tonight and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with a modern interior that added to the overall ambiance. The staff went above and beyond in their service, offering thoughtful recommendations on the dishes to try and ensuring we felt comfortable and not rushed at all throughout our meal. One standout dish was the beef massaman curry – we were absolutely thrilled with it. The beef was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth with each bite, and the rich flavors of the curry were simply delightful. It’s definitely a dish I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a culinary treat. Overall, our evening was a success, and I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!
Philip S — Google review
Amazing feed! The flavours were phenomenal. The sauce with the wagyu dumplings needs to be bottled and sold as I would put it on everything. Chicken Katsu Bao and highway spuds were definitely some favourites My only critic is that I felt that the pork dumplings needed a dipping sauce provided - you could use sauces from the other dishes but not helpful if they all arrive at different times.
Mich A — Google review
The BEST food I’ve had in ages! We definitely ordered too much for the two of us but no complaints here as we got to take some home. Could not fault a single dish. Our favourites were the beef Massaman and the Roti but we’d honestly order everything again and again! If I could rate it more stars I would, can’t wait to come back.

There are so many delicious options on the menu and the new menu items are amazing. The Roast Pumpkin Yellow Curry and the Beef Massaman curry are generous sizes and both come with rice. Recommend the Chicoen Katsu Salad for a lunch option. We can’t wait to come back 🤩

There’s a good vibe. The menu is fun and the food delicious- super flavourful with all the garnishes. The tables are a little small for the sharing that’s encouraged (everyone seemed to have more dishes than places to put them). Don’t be put off though- order up and enjoy!

We used to come here many years ago when Junk first opened. This was our first visit back in a long time, and the food and service was just as good! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Asian fusion. Very well done food. Fresh, tasty, great flavours and different. Not the same old things you find everywhere. Someone in the kitchen cares about what they're cooking and isn't afraid to try new combinations. The Gundam fries are morish, the bento box is packed with flavour and the slushies...you MUST try the slushies!!

Whether you choose to dine in or take your meal to go, this restaurant ensures a satisfying experience with its delicious offerings.
This is a great little spot easily. The best Ramen I’ve had on the coast. I had the char sui Ramen with the creamy tonkotsu broth. Seriously it was like a slow cooked pork milkshake the broth spectacular. I opted to add the egg, pork belly and Chilli oil . I think it was around $23 before the add-ons but was $30 all up Once again must reiterate really impressed with the flavour even the Ramen noodles were perfectly seasoned Only reason I gave it four for atmosphere is that it’s right on a busy road But overall, really, really good check it out.

Unami Ramen make really good ramen as that is their specialty. I certainly believe they are the go to restaurant in town for some good ramen. The seafood tonkotsu ramen, smokey black ramen and chicken karaage rice bowl made a good combination. All meals were cooked well and tasted delicious. Totally worth the visit. Regards @foodearri

Fantastic ramen with a stellar broth and tender chashu - the tonkotsu is really rich and porky! Bowl of ramen seems to be on the smaller side compared to other places though, but I reckon the quality definitely makes up for it. I'm a pretty big guy and it still filled me up.

I'm on the hunt for the best ramen on the Sunshine Coast. After my recent trip to Japan, I'm trying to see if Australia can keep up with the Japanese!!! Yessssss we can , this place was hands down amazing 👏. I'd like to see if there is somewhere better.

Absolutely love the Smokey Black Ramen! You can really taste the black garlic, with the hint of creaminess and good value for the money. It's the taste of Japan all over! The karaage chicken rice and Tatanmen F was to die for! We tried the pork and prawn gyoza and these have all been good! All the food was beautifully presented! Would wish for the staff to be more proactive in giving other guests another bottle of water though. Will definitely come back!

Definitely one of the foodie spots I appreciate on the Sunshine Coast. Chef-owned and operated, deep flavors, great consistency, short and concise menu (always a good sign!). A beautifully atmospheric restaurant with elegant lighting and refined decor that makes you feel instantly comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional, adding to the overall great experience. The dishes are both visually stunning and delicious. Highly recommend the eggplant tempura — the portion is generous, the batter perfectly crisp, and the eggplant inside incredibly juicy. The pork belly from the main dishes is another highlight, thoughtfully seasoned to bring out the rich aroma of the meat. Will come back next time!

Modern take on Japanese food. All dishes were great. Minor criticism - slow cooked pork belly had a strong pork smell (maybe not female sow?) Everything else frim tuna tataki to grilled skewers and fried chicken was gorgeous.

Domestic airport
Brisbane Airport, also known as BNE, is the primary international airport serving Brisbane and South East Queensland. It features both domestic and international terminals connected to the city by an express air link train service. The airport serves as a major hub for Virgin Australia and Qantas. Security checks at the domestic terminals are hassle-free, and there are plenty of food courts and restrooms available. Additionally, car hire services are offered at Budget Australia for convenient transportation options upon arrival.
It's said to be one of the world's best-performing large airports for on-time performance. In fact, it's also the largest airport in Australia. Amazing... Brisbane International Airport (BNE), in addition to having separate Domestic and International Terminals, is currently planning to build a third terminal to accommodate both domestic and international flights. I last landed here in 2018. It has successfully completed various facilities to meet the needs of modern airline passengers.
Taufik W — Google review
I should have checked what was in the international terminal sooner (it's all my fault). As it turned out, there is pretty much nothing of value. There are hardly any food options, the toilets are few and far between and actually filthy. The only feature is the endless space, which makes this place excellent for walking around, but it's worth having dinner beforehand because the options are pretty bleak. The domestic terminal is light years better.
Gábor F — Google review
Brisbane Airport is modern, clean, and easy to navigate. The terminals are well laid out, with plenty of seating, charging stations, and clear signage. Security and check-in are efficient, making the experience smooth and stress-free. There’s a good range of dining and shopping options, including cafés, restaurants, and duty-free stores, so you can grab a meal or shop before your flight. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the airport feels safe and well-managed. Whether you’re arriving, departing, or connecting, Brisbane Airport provides a convenient and comfortable travel experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brisbane Airport is one of the best-organised airports in Australia! It’s modern, clean, and easy to navigate, with plenty of clear signage. Check-in and security are usually smooth and efficient, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a good selection of cafes, restaurants, and shops, making waiting time comfortable. Transport to the city is convenient with the Airtrain and well-marked rideshare areas. Overall, a pleasant and stress-free airport experience — a great gateway to Queensland!
BRUSS — Google review
Appalling experience at Brisbane International Airport on Sat 01 Nov 25. Absolute chaos from the bag drop, the queue just to get into security, queue for passport control. What has always taken about 30mins took well over 2 hours. Little direction from airport staff meant people not sure of where to go, bad flow of traffic and travellers being rushed through to not miss boarding. What is going on?
Megan F — Google review
The baggage claim exit at Brisbane Airport was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in years of frequent international travel. The line to exit stretched endlessly with hundreds of people waiting, and there was absolutely no organization. Airport staff shouted conflicting instructions, telling us to follow one person only for directions to change minutes later. At one point, a new exit line was opened and then abruptly shut down within 15 minutes. I fly weekly and mostly internationally, and I have never seen such poor management and disorganization at a major airport.😩
