Had a wonderful time at two hands wines. Dropped by for a walk in tasting on a Thursday afternoon. I went with the pride & place tasting flight which included a range of 6 wines. Was introduced to two hands, as well as understanding that they specialise in more red wines. Really enjoyed the tasting, they have good Shiraz options. I left with a bottle of my own, would definitely recommend having a visit
Lovely winery with a large back deck and lawn overlooking the vineyards. Our tasting was informative and while nothing stood out it was a lovely experience. There was a food truck o site too was not open when we visited which was too bad because we were both hungry 😋
The best place we’ve been in the Barossa. The service was exceptional, the wines were incredible but the highlight was definitely Brutus and his friends. Elaine, our server, was incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She focusing on telling instead of selling to us, making for an all round great experience.
Two Hands is a place for a famous reason. I recently visited Two Hands with a precious guest. He was very happy to come to the two hands winery in person because he had experienced two hands in Korea. The employees' explanations were perfect and introduced not only wineries but also slightly larger pets and cows they raise. The grape farm and its pets were so well matched and beautiful.
Did the wine tasting. The lady was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information on the wines which is great. We bought 3 wines and were extremely delighted with the complimentary wine glasses
We made it a point to visit while in Adelaide, because we started our wine journey with wines with Two Hands and it felt special for us! Ariel led us through our wine tasting and she backed up with some history and fun facts of each wine - it was great! Our fav was Ares, two hands down ;) Thanks Ariel! We enjoyed chatting with you very much. We had kids with us and they gifted them with little activity goodie bags which was really thoughtful and welcoming. We bought Lily's Garden, Bella's Garden & Spirit of Place, and was pleasantly surprised to receive the wine glass gift!
Our wine tasting experience was truly outstanding from start to finish. The staff were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about sharing the story behind each bottle. The top wines stood out for their complexity, balance, and exceptional craftsmanship.
An enjoyable evening with Luke tasting some of the best of Two Hands winery has to offer. Luke is very personable and knowledgeable and gave us some great wine history, tips and of course tastes. Adam and Joey at MOGG, Golden Beach were amazing hosts for the evening.

Whistler Wines is an absolute gem in the Barossa Valley! The location is simply charming – the perfect blend of natural beauty and a relaxed vineyard setting. We had a lovely wine tasting experience, with a fantastic selection of wines that truly showcased the region’s character. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was seeing kangaroos in a large enclosure on the property – such a unique touch! It’s also a great spot to take a peaceful walk and soak in the stunning surroundings. Highly recommend for wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike 🌾🍇🍷🦘
Whistler Wines is an absolute treasure in the Barossa Valley. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with beautiful views of the vineyard and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for the whole experience. The setting is stunning — spacious lawns shaded by big trees, perfect for sitting back and enjoying a glass of wine while soaking in the scenery. The wines themselves are fantastic. Each tasting felt carefully guided, with staff who really know their wines and love sharing their knowledge in a friendly, approachable way. The range had something for everyone, from light and easy-drinking to more complex and bold varieties, and every glass felt thoughtfully crafted. What really stood out was the hospitality. The team at Whistler make you feel less like a customer and more like a guest. They’re warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about what they do, which makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. It’s also a great spot to relax beyond just the tasting. The outdoor space is perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone who wants to take their time and enjoy the surroundings. It never feels rushed, which makes it easy to settle in and appreciate both the wines and the setting. Overall, Whistler Wines offers everything you’d hope for in a Barossa winery — exceptional wine, beautiful grounds, and wonderful people. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the region and will definitely be back myself.
Just had the loveliest afternoon at Whistler! We were served by the lovely Toni, who provided sparkling, thoughtful customer service, and took the time to get to know us. 10/10 service, we'll be back for that alone! We had a delicious self-guided tasting, and couldn't find a wine we didn't love. Plus, it's such beautiful, secluded location - gorgeous lawns and plenty of space for the kids to play (not that I brought any!),
We had a wine tasting. The lady serving was very friendly and shared lots of knowledge about the wines. Quite an interesting place to visit. Relaxed atmosphere.
My wife and I were visiting the Barossa Valley from the Hunter Valley and had been told to visit Whistler Wines by colleagues. When we arrived as walk ins we met Kirsty who gave us a fantastic tasting in a lovely cellar door. We ended up buying some beautiful wines that were delivered promptly and would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone visiting the Barossa Valley.
This is a nice little family owned winery, a must visit when you are travelling with children! Something I was surprised with, is that the toilets were very clean and equipped with a baby change table and shower! Also, They have their own playground and heaps of outdoor space for children to play. The wine list is extensive for a small winery, and make your own cheese platter was yummy!
Omg. What a great place. The stew and Shiraz and fires brilliant. A very peaceful atmosphere
Very lovely little Winery with a lovely team who are s friendly and nice. We had a wine tasting here and Cheese Platter. We were that impressed with 2021 Estate Cab Sav that we bought a bottle to enjoy after the tasting. Highly recommend dropping in if you're around the Barossa area.

Had an incredible experience with our host. Connie was warm, welcoming, insightful, & funny. It was only the 3 of us there for our tasting, and because of this it felt like a very personal experience. Not only was the wine tasting exceptional, but the atmosphere of the little house/wine tasting room was unparalleled. What fascinated me the most was the certified organic nature of the wines themselves, and the story's that make them. I couldn't recommend our time here more highly. We both bought 3 bottles each and I was given 1 out of kindness. We drove away with the biggest smiles on our face. Thank you Connie for an unforgettable experience, we really appreciate you for the time you gave us, and your bubbly and passionate personality. 10/10 definitely recommend. I can't wait to come back. Cheers, Ryan.
Our best wine tasting in Australia! We knew Tscharke wines from a tasting in Germany many years ago and wanted to have a look at the winery. We were greeted by Conny, fellow German, who made us feel very welcome. She told us a lot about the history, the production and the wines. We had a very special tasting! Conny took us around and even introduced us to Damian and Liam. The location is awesome (beautiful decorated, nice garden area) as are the wines. We enjoyed every minute and would definitely recommend visiting and tasting!!
Hands down our favourite winery in the Barossa 💯 the service was excellent, world class knowledge and the wines were all so interesting and complex. The tasting room experience was so enjoyable and we learnt so much about the local area and production. We left with many bottles and will be raving about this winery for a long time ♥️
Tscharke’s is the best winery experience in the Barossa. (I might also be the best kept secret in the Barossa - as it’s not listed on tourism experience websites and so I only heard about it from a friend). Wow am I pleased we visited the cellar door on December 27. The customer service was amazing. The place so tastefully and meticulously designed and decorated - like something out of Harry Potter. We were allowed to wander downstairs to the incredibly majestic underground cellar and stroll through the attic past some beautiful artwork before heading to the bar for some wine tasting. We were allowed to sit outside to taste with the most peaceful and calming setting in the valley A looking across the hills and vineyards, it didn’t feel at hot as it does at other wineries in the area. Although I am torn when I think back to the experience as next time I might sit at the bar to absorb all the incredible knowledge of the staff. All delicious wines, I usually try to buy only 1 bottle at each winery that I visit just for the memory, but here I couldn’t resist - I bought 4. Thank you Tscharke’s!! Great memories.
What a stunning winery. Tscharke Wines is worth a visit just for the beautiful cellar door. The excellent wines are just a bonus. The cellar door features an amazing vaulted ceiling, with a beautiful upstairs gallery where you can sit with a bottle or two of their finest and soak in the atmosphere. Then there is Tscharke's hidden treasure; an amazing underground cellar. Visually stunning, you can book a special tasting of their flagship wines in this space, and I'd love to do that one day. We sat for a standard tasting and enjoyed their selection of six excellent wines. I particularly liked their Stone Well Grenache and Project Mataro, but their other reds, rosé and a couple of whites were also very good. This place should definitely be on your next Barossa Valley itinerary!
What a great experience! Connie was an AMAZING host and we had a great time tasting and learning about the wine. Damian has a clear passion for his craft and works to create wines that represent the terroir of his many vineyards. It was really an incredible experience tasting wine in their cave and we could have happily spent the whole day here. We can't wait for our order to arrive!
What an amazing morning spent at this stunning place. I went with no expectations and was blown away. Conny, in the tasting room, is an absolute gem! Very knowledgeable about the wines and fantastic customer service. I’m doing a wine course and conny took it upon herself to give me a VIP backstage tour of this years vintage. Absolutely made my day. Add this to your Barossa itinerary, support local, family fun businesses.
This place is a hidden gem , a must stop by if you are winery touring in the barossa, beutifull tasting room, Liam gave us a tasting of the wines and was a great host, will 100 percent be back here again.

Absolutely brilliant afternoon! Came as a walk-in and did their red wine tasting. We had such a great time, the wines were delicious and Nicholas was so engaging and knowledgeable. He also took into account what we were enjoying and gave us the 2017 Steading to try, which we loved so much we ended up buying! The cellar door itself is beautiful and comfortable, and you’re able to go to their “library” and get a photo with their mega bottles.
We stopped by to taste the latest wines and got lucky to catch a quiet moment. Dayna immediately appeared and was a charming host. She picked wines that matched our pallets. We had only intended to taste but left with bottles, including a Bophie. Many thanks to Dayna and Torbreck for the usual great experience in a lovely setting.
Thank you so incredibly much, Kate, for your beyond awesome storytelling of the beautiful wines you have here! We had such a lovely time and we’re thankful for you tailoring the tasting to our liking. Thanks for also sharing with us about the wines region. The wines were really really good, and we're so glad we stopped by.
We visited several wineries over our 3 days in the Barossa and hands down Torbreck was by far the most amazing wine tasting experience we had. Such class and professional in a beautiful winerie. Nicholas was an absolute legend. He was very knowledgeable and also fantastic at his job. We loved him. Do not skip this one!!!
Beautiful tasting room and wine cellar! Lucas who looked after us for the collector tasting was very friendly and very kind to show us to the cellar room and answer all the questions we have about the wine from Torbreck and how they decided on the names of each wine. Many interesting background stories of the wine, the owner, and the maker. Many delicious wines especially the Forest-Marie champagne and RunRig red.
Thanks Angela for our impeccable wine tasting experience. You are a true treasure and asset to this little hidden gem of a winery off the beaten track! Can’t wait for our wine club deliveries so we can reminisce back at our little farm in Qld xx
Easily the best cellar door we visited during 5 days in South Australia. McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and the Barossa, this experience was the best. A huge thanks to Nicholas who looked after us, even with an 18month old boy he made us feel welcome and at home. Took time to discuss the wines in detail, answer our questions and share his knowledge. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back!
Nicholas and Matt were both amazing hosts! Wines were of superb quality and we enjoyed ourselves very much! @Nicholas: See you in bedok for some kwaychap 😉

Such an amazing experience today, all the staff were absolutely incredible, it felt like a real personal experience and they were there to chat. Gins were yummy as! Platter was delicious, we had to order another one!
Great experience! Staff knowledgeable and fun. Well organised tasting. Good selection of interesting gins to taste. Will be back.
We will definitely be back! Stunning Gin Distillery in the Barossa. Great service and Fantastic Gin! Personal fav - Native Ground Gin
Superb Gin! My wife and I visited SRD on New Years Eve 2024 and were warmly greeted by the team, especially Aiden who gave us really good insight about the history of SRD and their story. We sampled the Bold Botantical Gin flight. The Savoury Allsorts was very unique and would highly recommend. The Navy Strength was awesome, too, but the Barrel Aged Shiraz Gin was just next level! No wonder it won them 99/100 at the international Gin festival. Well deserved. Absolutely worth a visit whilst you're in the Barossa and need a little break from the wine!
Dropped by SRD for their bold botanical tasting flight on a Thursday afternoon. It was nice and quiet, and the ambience is great. With the tasting flight, there was a run through & introduction to Seppeltsfield’s bold botanical options, describing the overall tasting notes as well as paring options. I enjoyed the experience as well as the gin, that I left with a bottle of my own. Would definitely drop by for a visit!
It was a great experience. Learnt something new about gins. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The place being pet friendly was a plus for us. I would recommend the tasting experience without any hesitation.
A must visit while in the Barossa! Saw this place as we were driving by and had to turn back and glad we did! Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the distillery and also gave us advice where to stop nearby for lunch. Gin tasting was delicious! And cocktails as well. Appreciated they had an option to nibble on some cheese and cold meats
Great gin tasting experience. Been here for the first time. If you like to try something new or a gin connoisseur then definitely a visit would be worth it. The tasting experience is on four versions or take on their gins, all different. Starting with neat, then ice and then house made tonic water I believe. Very interesting flavours. Try a variation to the wine tasting experience in the Barossa with gin tasting.

Our first visit to the Granite Belt, what a surprise, there are some good wineries, and wines, made in Queensland! Late morning on a quiet Wednesday we called in at Heritage. Rob made us welcome and took us through a great tasting, laced with info and stories from the winery. Their reserve chardonny was outstanding! Altogether lovely experience.
Steve, who made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. I was referred by another local cellar who highly recommended Heritage for their exceptional Malbec and they weren’t wrong. The wine was absolutely beautiful smooth, unique. The grapes tasted so fresh and fruity, with just the right balance. Not too acidic, not too dry just pure, aromatic elegance in every sip. You can really tell there’s care and craft behind it. I’ll definitely be back. A hidden gem for any wine lover, especially if you’re after a standout Malbec.
What a wonderful find! Excellent wines, and a wonderful host! A gem in the Barossa. You must visit!!
Small family winery, and some excellent wines. Another one to add to your list of Cellar Doors to visit.
Visited this amazing winery two years ago on a miserable rainy day. But Steve and Nelson gave us a warm welcome us in and we tried some really great wines. I'm truly sad to live on the other side of the world not being able to just pop in to a local store for another bottle. Keep up the good job, hopefully I will have the possibility to come back again. Peter
We arrived at the end of the to a quirky welcome. Nelson the dog does not like me which I'm still bitter about. Amazing wines at a great price and a lovely smaller vibe. Highly recommended!
Very well priced wines of exceptional quality and the host Steve was a great source of knowledge and very friendly and courteous. The tawny is as good as many that are twice the price ! Highly recommended for a visit
Barossa & Light Cab Service recommend Heritage Wines because we love this small family owned winery. The views are fantastic here at this 1950's cottage B&B, are great and Steve makes sure that everyone is made to feel welcome. There are full bodied wines here, and situated in Marananga is the perfect central location, being close to many other cellar doors including Torbreck, Penfolds, Hentley Farm, Seppeltsfield and many more. Be sure to pop in or stay here, the next time you are thinking of coming to the Barossa, and say "Hi!" to Steve and Heritage Wines.

Very beautiful part of North Adelaide. Many lovely winerys in the area
Great wine tour, we enjoyed our driver, Roy, with his quick wit & jokes. Most wines were excellent, all of the servers were great. We would go again!
The winery tour with tasting and lunch was an exquisite experience, led by the knowledgeable guide, Baden. His commentary struck the perfect balance between being informative and engaging, sprinkled with delightful anecdotes. Each of the three wineries visited offered a unique perspective on winemaking, providing a diverse and enriching journey through the Barossa wine region. The highlight was undoubtedly the lunch, featuring a generous selection of high-quality platters, allowing us to indulge in a variety of flavors that complemented the wine tastings perfectly. Overall, it was a memorable day trip, characterized by impeccable service, delightful wines, and a relaxed ambiance. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable wine-tasting experience in the Barossa Valley.
Barossa Valley is a wine lover’s paradise! Rolling vineyards, charming cellar doors, and exquisite local wines make every visit a delightful experience. The scenic landscapes and gourmet food are unforgettable.
The Barossa Valley, just an hour's drive from Adelaide, remains one of Australia's most iconic wine regions. With over 150 wineries and more than 80 cellar doors, it offers a rich tapestry of experiences for wine enthusiasts. Diverse Wine Styles: While the region is renowned for its bold Shiraz, it also produces exceptional Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Mataro. Emerging producers are introducing lighter, biodynamic styles, reflecting a shift towards more nuanced winemaking . Innovative Practices: Wineries like Treasury Wine Estates are embracing cutting-edge technology, such as automated barrel halls, to enhance production efficiency and sustainability . Rich Heritage: The Barossa's history is deeply intertwined with German Lutheran settlement, influencing both its winemaking traditions and culinary offerings
A beautiful visit for a platter and tasting. Scarlett was young and knowledgeable. Friendly staff, delicious wine and locally sourced platter that enabled a taste sensation with the wine. Will definitely make this a seasonal spot and can't wait to get my hands on the E & E! Even on a dull, cold, winters day it's gorgeous.
Iconic Australian wine region making world class reds, especially Shiraz. It features some of the oldest vines in the country and produces some of the most well-known wines, such as the coveted Penfold's Grange Hermitage. There is something here for everyone and you'd be a fool not to go if you like your 🍷 So so much to see and do and not just wineries. We got help from the local tourist information centre, who were absolutely great, and booked a mini tour buss of the different types of wineries ,you can't go to all of them there's several hundred and it was fantastic fun. But! We also went to cheese factories, Gin distillers, Magge Beers, Dried fruits and so many more. The tourist information centre was able to book us into all sorts of special events as well, as an example a tea and cheese matching tasting at the Barrossa Valley Cheese Company & more. There's many types of Stay Facility available as well, from luxury to look after yourself units with full facilities. Great place, nice people, amazing wines, excellent food and I'm picky when it comes to food.
This place is as sick as I was after two rosé bottles in between the vines. Would absolutely get drunk there again. Bars and Pubs are lacking but the valley makes up for it with cool spots like the Barossa Valley Estate which offers very good deal for wine tasting in a charming atmosphere
