Real nice place to have tea and scones. Cute train carts. Would reccomend to anyone.
Two old rail carriages joined by outdoor eatery. Great interior, gift shop, art works. Good stop for afternoon and morning teas. No lunch or savoury menu available. Delightful scones and cream.
Peaceful surroundings, unique & nostalgic accommodation in the beautifully renovated train carriages, fully equipped kitchen (including a pancake maker with ingredients supplied), games corner, a piano for sing-a longs, comfortable & roomy bathroom, spacious deck between carriages for dining, as well as the renovated dining carriage. We, plus special friends/relatives, enjoyed it all for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration, & would highly recommend this venue for an out-of-the-ordinary getaway. Thanks to our host, Vicki, for ensuring our stay was comfortable & enjoyable. Gail & Reg
If the owner continues to deliver the quality in their new repurposed red rattlers at the level they did when they were a cafe, then we have another winner. Please read my old review below. Fresh scones, fresh jam and fresh cream. Best and Nicest coffee, chai lattes and chai tea. We keep coming back. Quiet. Relaxing. Peaceful and only a few minutes from murwillumbah.
Beautiful train carriages turned into a quirky coffee/gift shop. Many handmade gifts and plants for sale. Tasty scones and other yummy food
The owner of the red rattler gallery is hotttt! great little place in a good location, lots of interesting bits and pieces to buy and awesome cakes. Will be returning very soon for some muffins or fi dee I'll eat both!
Red Rattlers train carriages restored, a great job, The food is to die for ( good home made cakes ) yummy! Coffee"s good too. Worth a lovely drive to see and experience
The cafe site said they were open on Wednesday, so we travelled from Brisbane only to find it was closed. I suggest they keep there times and days up to date. It was a long way for nothing.
