Stunning view And Rambo3 took the movie here. Pray for the Buddha. Drive around 30 minutes from Chiang Mai to Lamphun; they are small cities and have many temples. Many ancient sites And in this temple, the history talks about the monk named Anon, who was one of his students. He dry-clothed here until now and still has some footage there.
Great place to relax. Very peaceful. The climb to the summit is a good challenge.
Another impressive Thai Temple, especially the Naga staircase with around 470 steps to go the mountain temple. The main temple complex with various buildings including meditation areas, monks accommodation - kutis and buddha statues are spreaded around a large area at the foot of the stairway. The view from the top of the staircase is great but it would have been much more breathtaking if the smog was not there. Most of the building were closed as some maintenance work was underway.
The Buddha Statue of this temple is newly estrablished on 16 Novermber 2020 celebrating the 253th anniversary of Thailand's Independence Day in 1767. The statue is highly detailed, delicate and respectful.
When we was there. They have big prayer meeting and look nice to listen that they pray. I didn't understand but I like it.
Nice view from the top of the hill including mountain, Doi Inthanon, Doi Suthep. I had a clear sky.
Worth visiting lovely views, peaceful
The view, architecture, kind and helpful monks, lack of crowds and commercialism Well kept buildings and grounds
