Wonderful place to hang out in evening. Had kids play area. Have lovely food stalls, boating and play area for kids. Musical fountain is something surely kids would enjoy
Went to this place during a weekend summer & there was cool breeze blowing and did not feel the heat at all... Plus no traffic on the road besides the lake. Open place with ample sitting spots and also mini-eatery stalls available. Water Fountain shows lasted for approx. 20 minutes and I guess are in frequency of 7 PM, 8 PM or so.
Upvan Lake is the peaceful heart of Thane, offering a fantastic escape from city chaos. Nestled against the backdrop of the lush Yeoor Hills, it's a picturesque spot perfect for morning jogs or relaxing evening strolls. Don't rush home! Stick around after sunset for the brilliant light and water show, which usually starts around 8 PM. Boating is a fun option. Grab a snack from the local stalls and enjoy the tranquil vibe. Highly recommended for a family
It's quite a good area to walk around, see the musical fountain, and have some evening snacks or tea. There's a decent walkway along the lake's perimeter. It's quite clean also. There are book stalls and one can definitely think of sitting and reading peacefully in any of the benches around. Would recommend going around the sunset time and then staying until the dark if you're interested in the fountain.
Good place to have walk. You can visit this place at any time of the day. There is a eatery also available to try some chat items. There is also a music and art festival held once a year during dec month.
🌸 A Hidden Gem of Peace and Beauty 🌿 Lake Garden is the perfect place to relax and refresh your mind. The calm water, colorful flowers, and beautiful landscape create a peaceful atmosphere. It’s clean, safe, and ideal for morning walks, photography, or just sitting quietly with nature. Great place for families and couples too. A must-visit spot if you’re looking for natural beauty in the Thane city! 🌅✨
Upvan lake now reconstructed they have given historical architecture theme to the stone structure. The sitting area is spacious especially during evening time, one can enjoy the sunset view peacefully. Fountain light show is the new attraction with music. Show timings are 7 PM 8 PM. The lake is near yeor hill area background is cover with mountain of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Food restaurants option are also available inside park with a lake view sitting arrangement. Amusement facilities for childrens and Family.
Nice place hangout. Upvan festival is one of the happening events in Thane. With a variety of stalls of food , craft, games , diy , jewellery and clothes. Parking should have managed well. Crowded so much. No parking , roads were blocked with layers of parked vehicles. Should have been managed well.

Spacious mall featuring 130+ national & international retailers, plus a food court & a game arcade.

Vibrant & Best shopping Mall at Thane offers a varieties of branded standalone stores with Electronica products, appreals, food courts on top floor. KFC ,Amul and Dominos are must visit outlets during the visit Mall is more than 15 years old and consistently showed presence for visitors/ customers with different set up . Security staff is alert and humble. Toilets 🚻 are neat and clean. Overall best place to chill & enjoy shopping. Everything under one roof.
It’s almost 2 km From Thane Station. You can easily get direct auto from Thane station. You can also travel through bus. It’s not so much big mall. Lot of shopping’s store available here. It’s maintain neat and clean. It’s near eastern express way. We are really enjoy here.
Nice mall with good shopping options, but needs improvement in cleanliness. This mall is a good place for shopping with a variety of brand outlets like Zudio, Max, Westside, Suga, and more. For household shopping, you’ll find Reliance Smart and some electronics stores too. The food court also has popular options like KFC, McDonald’s, and others — so overall, you can easily spend a few hours here. Parking is available, and public transport access is good. It's convenient for families and groups. Also, I noticed new stores are coming up, so the place is still developing and growing. However, I have to mention the downside — the cleanliness of the washrooms was quite poor. Flush was not working, no napkins or tissue were provided, and overall maintenance was lacking in that area. This needs immediate attention if the mall wants to give a complete and comfortable experience to visitors.
Korum Mall is one of the most popular shopping destinations in Thane, known for its great location and easy accessibility from different parts of the city. Situated right on the main road, it’s very convenient to reach whether you’re coming by car, auto, or public transport. The parking space is well-managed, and the entry and exit are quite smooth, which makes the overall experience comfortable right from the start. The mall has been around for quite some time, and that shows in its structure. Some parts of the building look a bit old and definitely need maintenance. The good part is that the repair and renovation work is already going on, which means the management is actively working to keep the mall in good shape. Once the renovation is complete, it will surely look much better and more modern. Inside, the mall is spacious and clean, with plenty of shops catering to a wide range of needs—fashion, electronics, food, and entertainment. The lower floors are quite lively, especially around the food court and brand outlets. You’ll find popular stores and some nice options for both shopping and dining. The crowd here is decent, mostly families and youngsters who come to hang out or catch a movie. However, the upper floors of the mall do feel a bit empty. Some shops seem to have closed down, and there are areas that could use more activity or new outlets to bring back the vibrancy. It doesn’t feel unsafe or unpleasant, just a bit quiet compared to the bustling lower levels. Hopefully, as part of the renovation, the mall management will attract more stores and events to those areas. The food court is well-organized with a good mix of cuisines—from local snacks to popular fast-food chains. There’s also a multiplex, which is clean and comfortable, adding to the entertainment factor. Overall, Korum Mall still holds its charm as a good weekend spot for shopping, movies, or just spending time with friends and family. In short, while the mall might feel a bit dated in some corners and empty on the upper floors, it’s still one of the better malls in Thane because of its great location, good facilities, and ongoing improvement work. With the repairs underway, Korum Mall has the potential to look fresh and more appealing in the coming months.
It was our first time but the mall stood on our expectations plus the air conditioning was damn chilling. Personally would suggest to visit this mall, as you will not get bore and the crowd here was descent.
A lively mall, with a food court and lovely activities for people of all ages. It has a good crowd..and a lot of outlets. This was taken at 10.30 pm during garba season. Lovely to see people participate and perform.
Came here after a long time. The mall has lost its sheen. Not much footfall on a Sunday. Food court looks deserted with limited choice. Quite a few outlets have already shut down. This mall used to be a happening place and my preferred place. Hope the management does something unique and get it back to its old grandeur.
Korum Mall is a great shopping destination in Thane, offering a wide variety of stores, from fashion and electronics to lifestyle brands. The food court is impressive, with plenty of options like KFC, McDonald's, and local favorites. The mall is clean, well-maintained, and has a good mix of entertainment options, including a PVR cinema and play areas for kids. Parking is convenient, and the overall vibe is lively. A perfect place to shop, eat, and unwind

🌳 A Perfect Weekend Getaway at Tikujiniwadi! 🌿 Visited Tikujiniwadi recently and had an absolutely delightful experience! Located amidst lush greenery, it’s the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The moment you enter, you’re welcomed by nature, clean surroundings, and a peaceful vibe that instantly lifts your mood. The amusement park is great for both kids and adults — from fun rides and water slides to the mini zoo and aquarium, there’s something for everyone. The water park section is especially enjoyable during the summers — clean pools, lifeguards in place, and plenty of shaded areas to relax. Food options inside the premises are decent and fairly priced. You’ll find traditional snacks as well as some fast food choices. The staff was courteous and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout. Whether you’re going with family, friends, or planning a school picnic, Tikujiniwadi is a great place to unwind and have fun. Highly recommended for a one-day trip in Thane! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I have gone watching all the positive review totally waste of money most of the slides are not working 999 for per person totally waste they include amusement park as well all rides look like scrap same issue not maintain properly the water slides if you really look closely it's dangerous I went in my school time from that time I just went not maintain properly overerall bad experience. Food Price - 290 For Limited Thali Taste was good. Parking Available on Street From Thane Station - Auto 50rs Bus 20rs Will not recommend
Nice place to visit kids. You can spend the whole day here with family There are a lot of relaxing places. We visited on Friday so there was not much rush , so it is better to visit on weekdays so you can enjoy it more. All the rides are a little old but even with summer it was not that hot as there were lots of trees. The food was also good.
Absolutely a hell for kids. Earlier it was good but since few months it's been a bad place for kids and even adults. The reason for the same are, 1. The water causes irritation, swelling and skin diseases. 2. Water smells very bad and i feel they do not clean regularly. 3. Chlorine content in water so high that one can easily smell once you enter the pool or any slides. 4. Skin gets tanned even after you apply a cream or ointment and tanning remains for even 2 months. 5. Toilets are always dirty even if you are the first to visit in day. 6. The place looks like haunted as the cleanliness is neglected. 7. The dinosaur park is a garbage and absolutely not worth visiting. 8. Other rides in the amusement park are hardly enjoyable, some are always under maintenance or closed and no attendant at all. The ticket price is Rs.999/person (without food) and additional locker charges are Rs. 200 (Refundable deposit Rs. 300), certainly overpriced not worth. Food and staff is only good thing in this water park but some items are over priced which is a normal thing in any theme or amusement I would really not recommend this place as it's a disaster and you will definately regret after visiting when you will have allergies and skin problem for few weeks 🤢
Best place for kids and family. Rides are amazing. Waterpark and amusement park both are super amazing. Surrounded by lots of trees. The park is well maintained. Food quality and taste is very average and overpriced. Overall great place for one day fun.
First of all I would like to point out that it is a wonderful place for school kids. Adults and teenagers would not be as satisfied as they should be. No large pool for adults. Currently (3rd week of Nov 2025) the wave pool is under construction, and it was no were mentioned in the brochure or by our travel agent that we'll not be able to enjoy it. Truly disappointed with it. But I would like you'll to focus on these key points. -----Negetive points - * Thin paper Coupons are given for breakfast, lunch and evening tea/coffee (which can easily be torn or disintegrate in water) And as it is a water resort we are told to keep hold of the thin paper Coupons as we are the soul protector of it. Upon damage or misplaced the management does not bother. You will be roaming hungry. (The food is also expensive) (I suggest that the management should now switch to waterproof HAND - BAND instead of a lousy thin paper Coupons) * Cigarette are priced double and not every cigrette is available. And most importantly a smoking section is provided for the smokers but It is so congested that not more than 3 people could stand there comfortably. Moreover it is nowere mentioned or written that smoking outside the smoking zone is fined for 500/- * Evening under the chikoo is meant to be calm and peaceful, but the only piece you will lose is a piece of you. Gaint mosquitos. I swear to god I have seen it... The mother of all mosquitos. A gaint flying blob in this resort. (Pest control needed) * The DJ was changing songs in every 10-15 secs. Instantly killing the vibe. _____________________________________________ -----positive points - * The food was absolutely delicious. ( The pasta and noodles were not boiled properly) apart from them the food was heavenly. * The toilets are clean and hygienic. * Proper systematic arrangement of staff and security.
We visited Tikuji Ni Wadi Resort for a birthday celebration and had an okayish experience. While the resort looks great, there were some drawbacks. The offline ticket queue was quite long. Additionally, the tickets didn't include meal options, which was inconvenient. The pools and restrooms were well-maintained, though. However, the adventure park was a letdown – many rides had vomit stains that weren't cleaned properly, which was quite unpleasant. If you're looking for a less crowded resort, you might want to consider other options.
Don't go on rainy season fully waste of money many rides were closed but they taking full amount. Food money is not included in the package , rest everything is good and some staffs are very rude . Food is very costly just it got famous because of tarak mehta ka ulta chashma

Price:1000 Locker:50rs (and 100rs deposit) Food: approx 200per person.Quantity is too much, very nice, Icecreams, Colddrinks, everything is in budget No long queues. Just choose the ride and go for it.
Big. Spacious, Entertaining, Almost all facilities are in place, Clean, Kids and senior citizens friendly. Disabled friendly. Food was excellent. Ample Parking, Approach road is in bad condition. No sign or info on main road. Friendly staff.
I had visited waterpark with my brother. Good experience. Clean park. But i went in the smaller rides labelled as for both adults and children. The person there did not advise me properly and i took the ride . However the slide was small and my leg was badly injured. The attendant there need to advise properly. What are they doing there?????😡😡😡😡 This was the only bad thing. Otherwise one of the cleanest parks.
Visited this place to attend a reception of a business client. Has ample space for car parking. Attended it on a weekday. The spread of food items was good. The place allows outside caterers and can easily accommodate approx 2.5k pax. The staff was courteous and its location at Ghodbunde road makes it convenient for guests and clients. It’s less of a water park now even though I’ve come to this place since 30+ years
Slides were good , water was clean , even on Saturday resort was empty , food is not so good , wave pool only works 4-5 time a day for 10mins each that not a I like personally, but over all it was good and better from those cheap resorts of virar ( not all but many ). Ticket price is 1000rs but I will recommend to add 300-400 more and visit water kingdom
Suraj Water Park Honestly, the rides are good and the place is clean, but the experience didn’t match the hype. First, they said we will get 15% off, but at the counter, they only gave 10%. Not cool. On top of that, the food is insanely expensive — simple snacks are overpriced, and the taste doesn’t justify the cost. It feels like they focus more on money than customer satisfaction. Overall, not worth the price. “Wouldn’t recommend unless they fix their pricing and actually honor their offers.”
It’s a nice water park. We went with family. Great experience. Cleanliness on Top. Food not served. Included prices bit high. overall good experience rights are very basic. Amusement park is not there.
Best place fire kids and adults recommend coming on weekdays or public holidays on weekdays because it is packed on weekends. The food was great and the child enjoyed it. The wave pool nearly drowned the child. The waiting area was great too had some antique cars. Great place though some slides utterly remove your skin off also some places life guard was sleeping on duty.

Good for outdoor activities like football cricket. Great place to hangout with friends and families. Cleanest beach near Mumbai I have a request for everyone please don't litter here.
Good place to spend time, The beach is somewhat better than other.. If you are planning to visit the fort then you have to climb the walls as the entrance is closed. But it's a must visit place.
Kelwa Beach is beautiful and very clean. It’s peaceful since not many people visit,😍 making it perfect for a relaxing day or quality time with your partner 😅. There are also nearby hotels and restaurants that are budget-friendly, which makes the visit even more convenient. 🥰
On 4th October, 2025 it was less crowded. This is almost 40kms inside from Highway and road was not very good. Beach was clean i.e no plastic waste or bottles found. Washroom closed at 6pm. No facilities!
The beach is huge in length and size and we can experience a clean and beautiful air and atmosphere, the beach is not that busy and there are few crowds.Me and my friends visited during the rainy season the atmosphere was really great we experienced light rains and strong winds .One negative point is that the beach is not maintained and dirty. So if you want to calm yourself do visit the beach next time
Nice clean beach but i don't know why there is entry fees. On beach there were many activities were available like camel ride, rough terrain bike ride and horse cart ride. Near to beach there are many small outlet who sell eatables like vada pav bhaji pav, cold drink and water. All at nominal price.
Kelwa Beach provides a picturesque setting with its stunning sunset views, camel and horse rides, and abundant coconut trees. Winter is the recommended time to visit, but swimmers should be cautious due to the salty water. Proper eye protection and swimwear are essential, especially for children. Overall, it's a serene destination for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty, with precautions necessary for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Ruins of a centuries-old fortress with preserved arches, tunnels & facades, plus scenic views.
Slide 1 of 8
Walking into Bassein Fort feels like stepping into a lost world. The broken stone walls, ancient archways, and overgrown trees weaving through the ruins create a haunting yet magical atmosphere. It's not just a fort — it’s a reminder of forgotten kingdoms, of battles fought centuries ago, and of how nature slowly reclaims what man builds. The Portuguese architecture still holds power even in its ruins. Those massive churches inside the fort whisper stories if you listen closely — of merchants, priests, soldiers, kings. Every cracked wall and empty window feels like it has witnessed centuries of laughter, prayer, betrayal, and hope. What stands out most is the wild freedom. No strict pathways, no glass barriers, no guards shouting at you. You can touch the history, climb it, get lost in it. If you sit quietly on one of the ramparts, overlooking the Arabian Sea, you realize: This place isn’t dead — it’s breathing in a different way. Stunning experience and must go option to forts Overall, Bassein Fort is not just a monument. It's a living memory. A place where nature and history have shaken hands.
Vasai Fort is a beautiful historical site near Vasai Road, rich with heritage and old Portuguese architecture. The place has a calm atmosphere and offers great spots for photography. However, maintenance could be better some areas are littered and not properly managed. Still, worth visiting for history lovers and weekend explorers.
"A great place to relax and enjoy the greenery. The fort itself is stunning and worth a visit. It's usually peaceful with very few people around. However, bus timings can vary, and you might have to wait a while. Autos are available at around ₹50 per head, so plan your visit accordingly."
Vasai Fort.....an amazing place to enjoy the architecture and nature ❤️❤️❤️ It's a best place for video shooting 🤪🥰❤️ I recently had the chance to visit the fort and it was an unforgettable experience! The fort is a perfect blend of history, architecture, and breathtaking views. Walking through its ancient walls, you can almost feel the stories of the past come alive. The structure is well-preserved, with intricate carvings and grand gateways that showcase the craftsmanship of that era. The site is not that well-maintained, with clean pathways and informative signboards . ⚡ ⚡ If you're planning a visit, early in the morning or late in the evening please avoid. Explore on day time and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Tips for Visitors: ✔ Wear comfortable shoes and clothes – there’s a lot of walking involved! in planted-ways 🤪 ✔ Carry water and snacks, as options may be limited.🥰🥰 ✔ Don't forget your camera – the views are stunning!❤️❤️ Overall, vasai fort is a must-visit for history lovers, photographers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for exploring forts....🥰🥰 And one also request from government to keep this Fort and areas preserved as many a where....unwanted plants has grown in the ways inside fort that is dangerous for visitors...🥰🥰
Very nice for people who need Peace , it's hot inside because of so many trees surrounding it , Tripods are not allowed you have to take permission. Mobiles Are allowed , very nice for photography.
Going to Bassein/Vasai fort means stepping into a lost world built by the Portuguese. The atmosphere feels magical yet haunting due to trees and plants grown on the fort's walls. The fort is really huge. It takes up to 2 hours to see the entire fort. The more you go inside the fort, more aspects of the fort open up. This is one of the must-visit fort in Mumbai. The ruins gives you the feel that you are into a whole new world.
Hidden gem! The entrance is free, and has plenty of parking space. You can easily spend about an hour exploring the place. And what's more? It's safe too! There are guards around to ensure there are no anti social elements and you don't veer off someplace else. Which brings me to my grievances. 1. The site is maintained by ASI, but there aren't any sign boards or information inside the fort. One can get lost. 2. It's not curated or maintained. There are a lot of shrubs, bushes and unmaintained trails, which makes it difficult to navigate. But nevertheless, it's a must visit if you're in Vasai or passing by.
Vasai Fort, also known as Fort Bassein, is one of the most fascinating historical landmarks near Mumbai. Located in Vasai West, this ancient structure dates back to the Portuguese era and stands as a silent reminder of the region’s colonial past. Surrounded by thick stone walls, lush greenery, and traces of old churches and watchtowers, the fort offers a perfect mix of history, architecture, and nature. The fort is huge, and exploring it feels like walking through a time capsule. The remains of the arches, crumbling walls, and intricate carvings reflect the Portuguese architectural style. Many Bollywood movies have also been shot here, which makes it quite popular among photographers and tourists. The view from the top, overlooking the Arabian Sea, is truly mesmerizing — especially during sunset when the golden light hits the ruins beautifully. Though the place is worth visiting, it could definitely use better maintenance. Some areas are covered with overgrown plants and litter left behind by visitors. There are no proper signboards or guides to explain the historical significance of the structures inside. Carry your own water and wear comfortable shoes as you’ll need to walk a lot. Despite these minor issues, Vasai Fort is a must-visit for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the city rush. It’s one of those rare spots where you can enjoy both heritage and tranquility together.

Decent spot in Kalyan for entertainment. The mall is in good condition due to recent renovations and upgrades. Though, it is largely crowded during weekends, you would be lucky to get a seat in the food court. Many shops are present for fashion shopping with different deals and discounts all year. Foreign brands like Starbucks have recently opened as well, if one wants to visit. Overall a well maintained facility with higher degrees of cleanliness but can be improved.
The mall is big and has a great variety of brands, making it a nice place to visit and have fun. However, cleanliness is a major issue—cockroaches can be seen everywhere, even in the food court. There are no proper dustbins for waste disposal, and the washrooms are extremely dirty. No hand wash was provided, the flush wasn’t working, and the smell was unbearable. While the shopping experience is good, the management seriously needs to improve hygiene and maintenance.
A great place for shopping and leisure. The mall has a good mix of brands, a decent food court, and a multiplex for movies. It’s spacious and usually well-maintained. Gets a bit crowded on weekends, but overall a solid spot to hang out with family or friends.
Great place to hang out with friends as well as family, you can watch a movie or have fun in the zingeria play various games and have fun. The food in the mall is great as well you'll find many brands which you may love. you can shop various types of clothes and jewellery but the highlight is the ice creams on the 2nd floor. kids will enjoy more happy returns
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan is one of the best malls in the area, offering a complete shopping and entertainment experience. It has a wide variety of stores like Westside, Pantaloons, Zudio, Yousta, Cotton Clutcher, Style Up, Trends, and many more – covering everything from trendy fashion to affordable daily wear and ethnic collections. Household shopping is easy with MR.DIY and Reliance Smart Bazaar, while the food court has great options like Haldiram’s and Shawarmaji for quick and tasty meals. The mall is spacious, with a good mix of budget-friendly and branded outlets, plus frequent discounts and offers across stores. While some shops could improve their inventory freshness, overall it’s a convenient place for shopping, dining, and spending time with family or friends.
Metro junction mall in Kalyan is a popular retail chain that offers a great shopping experience for those looking to buy a variety of products at affordable prices. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate through different sections, including groceries, household items, apparel, and more. One of the best things about Metro juntion mall is its pricing. You can find a wide range of products, from daily essentials to special offers, at competitive prices. Whether it’s fresh produce, packaged goods, or cleaning supplies, Metro junction mall consistently provides good value for money, which is why it attracts a lot of shoppers. They often have discounts and bulk offers, making it a great place for budget-conscious buyers. The store is typically well-stocked, and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful when I need assistance. However, during peak hours, the store can get quite crowded, which might make shopping a bit less pleasant. The checkout lines can also get long, but this is to be expected at such a popular retail destination. Parking is available, but depending on the time of day, it might be a bit of a challenge to find a spot. Despite this, Metro juntion mall in Kalyan is a reliable option for quick, affordable shopping, and it’s one of my go-to places for daily essentials.
Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan is one of the best places to spend time with friends and family. The mall is really big and shiny, with a lively atmosphere. It offers a wide variety of options — from food courts and restaurants to clothing stores and other shopping outlets, so there’s always something for everyone. The overall vibe is modern and enjoyable, making it a good spot not just for shopping, but also for hanging out. A little improvement in crowd management and maintenance would make it perfect, but overall, it’s a great place to visit.
Metro Junction Mall, Kalyan West is one of the biggest malls in the area and a popular hangout spot. It has a wide range of stores for shopping, a good selection of restaurants, and a multiplex for movies. The mall is spacious, well-maintained, and offers ample parking. genuinely love going to R Mall! It's one of those places that perfectly blends a fantastic shopping experience with great entertainment, making it a regular stop for me. What I appreciate most is how convenient and well-designed the mall is. It has a great selection of retail outlets, offering everything from daily essentials to trendy fashion, which means I can always find what I'm looking for. The atmosphere is always bright and welcoming, never feeling too crowded or overwhelming, which makes browsing a real pleasure. The dining area is another huge plus. There's a terrific range of food options, whether I want a quick coffee, a satisfying meal in the food court, or a more upscale dinner. Plus, the entertainment features, like the cinema, make it an ideal spot for a complete family outing or a fun weekend date. It’s not just a mall; it's a pleasant, accessible, and complete leisure destination that always leaves me satisfied with my visit.
R Mall in Mulund. Half of the stores are closed. Ample of parking space. Food place seems to be congested. Washroom aren’t clean as compared to other malls.
R Mall in Mulund West, Mumbai, is a prominent shopping and entertainment destination that has been serving visitors since its opening in 2003. Developed by Runwal Developers Pvt. Ltd., the mall spans approximately 250,000 sq ft and features a four-storey air-conditioned structure with around 80,000 sq ft on each floor. 🛍️ Shopping Experience R Mall hosts a variety of retail outlets catering to diverse shopping needs. Visitors can explore stores offering trendy bags, stylish footwear, and fashionable clothing for children and adults alike.
Not so crowded on a weekday we visited There aren’t many shops also Nice area to hangout in Mulund west Restrooms in some floors were under maintenance
I had a great experience at R Mall..! It’s clean, spacious, and well-organized, with a wide variety of stores to choose from—everything from popular fashion brands to electronics and specialty shops. The food court had plenty of tasty options, and there was ample seating. I also appreciated the convenient parking and helpful security staff. A great place to shop, eat, and relax!
clean, spacious and well-organized, with a decent variety of stores ranging from fashion to electronics, plus a good cafe. The food court has tasty options with ample seating and parking is convenient. While many stores are closed and it’s best if you plan your visit around watching a movie or grabbing McDonald’s, the low crowd makes shopping easy and stress-free
I went to this location after a year. Roads are congested. I went to the residential complex behind the Mall. Parking is at the mercy of the watchman on duty. :) I went via the Shrinagar road so even with traffic you are slowly yet continuously moving. Returned via Mulund toll naka which was not crowded and traffic moves smoothly.

Places like this are the need of cities. It allows people to experience life in nature by staying away from chaos. The sound of birds, the sound of water droplets, and gentle music create an overall ambience to spend time happily. But I am personally waiting for the boat service to begin.
It's a nice place for a walk, but unfortunately, garbage everywhere, the people too lazy to put it in the garbage 🗑 bin, even in the lake, wanted to see the fountain with lights but it's out of order and no light. there are too many strays of dogs

Nice and calm place. Various different types of butterflies available over there. The guide present over there is very helpful and explains all the varieties in detail. A beautiful place very much connected to the city.
A Nature-Inspired Day at Ovalekar Butterfly Garden Our visit to the Ovalekar Butterfly Garden was an enriching experience that brought us closer to the fascinating world of butterflies and their ecosystems. Surrounded by lush greenery and thriving biodiversity, the garden offered a wonderful retreat into nature’s lap. One of the first highlights was spotting the beautiful golden chrysalis, a stage where a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. Observing this delicate marvel reminded us of nature’s intricate design and life’s constant evolution. The guide, who was exceptionally knowledgeable, enthusiastically explained the importance of these stages, engaging us with detailed insights and fascinating anecdotes. We then came across caterpillars on host plants, munching on the fresh leaves. It was exciting to see these tiny creatures in action, contributing to the ecosystem. The garden also showcased vibrant flowering plants, which acted as nectar sources, attracting numerous butterflies. Among the unique flora we observed was the Sapota (Chikoo) tree, with its dense green leaves and small brown fruits. It was an excellent example of how such trees provide shade and habitat for various organisms. The guide pointed out interesting details about the tree, the lifecycle of butterflies, and the symbiotic relationships between the plants and insects, making the walk both interactive and educational. The butterfly garden was not just about butterflies; it was a holistic introduction to an ecosystem. We saw flowering shrubs like the bell-shaped pink flowers, standing tall and inviting pollinators. The garden’s diversity extended to the ground, where children delighted in exploring beneath the trees, uncovering fallen leaves and tiny critters. The intricate relationship between plants, caterpillars, and butterflies was the key takeaway from our visit. The guide’s in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm enhanced the experience, leaving us with a greater appreciation for nature’s delicate balance. From the golden chrysalis to the vibrant flowers, each element seemed to tell a story of interdependence and harmony. In the end, the Ovalekar Butterfly Garden left us not only with beautiful memories but also with a renewed sense of responsibility to preserve and nurture nature’s wonders.
The park is so beautiful✨ butterflies everywhere you see also the people and the owner Mr.ovalekar are very friendly. They will answer all your questions and will help you spot the butterflies. I had a fun time learning and exploring a must visit place for anyone.
Unbelievable! It's the work of a single person (& his son now) over a lifetime. Being a student of zoology, I was surprised that I didn't even know the basics about butterflies that Ovalekar sir mentioned in his guided tour. Will prepare myself better and go back again 🦋
The garden has exclusive variety of butterflies. The owner of the park guided us and gave an in-detailed explanation of all the butterfly species, its cocoon, the place where it lays eggs and its entire journey (including its habitat). Also, we were shown different species of herbs and trees. At the end, we were shown the nest of different birds and the nest of a squirrel. The most special moment- when we were there, 2 butterflies took birth and all of us sand 'happy birthday' song for them. The bestest experience I have ever had.
The most beautiful place in mumbai for butterfly lovers. You not see various butterfly but also expect will show you the entire process of moth to butterfly formation. This is amazing. Garden having lots of variety of butterfly. As a photographer I love to captured them through my camera. Ovalekar wadi is good place for a day visit with family specially with kids to give them knowledge about butterfly. They have breakfast options also available in nominal changes. You can easily spend 2 to 3 hrs by watching beautiful butterfly all over the garden. Open only for Sunday, 8:00am to 1:00pm Ticket price 100 for adults and 50 for children.
An excellent place for spending a Sunday morning. It is open from 8am till 1pm only on Sundays. The garden is more like a natural habitat for the butterflies . There are various local species of plants that attract the butterflies. The owner gives a tour of the garden explaining about the plants and butterflies. It's very good for children to enjoy surrounded by colourful butterflies flying around.
It was a beautiful experience on a rainy day. The place abounds with colorful butterflies. There were close to 20 butterflies creating symphonies on a small shrub the day I was there. I also learnt their habitat and other information is from Mr. Ovalekar, the owner and the other guides. For 100 rupees entry fees a few hours well spent in the company of cheerful colors and

I recently visited Mhauli Fort, and I must say it was an incredible experience filled with natural beauty, historical richness, and just the right amount of adventure. The trek to the fort is medium to moderate in difficulty, making it suitable for both beginners with decent fitness levels and seasoned trekkers looking for a quick weekend adventure. The trail offers a perfect blend of rocky paths, forested stretches, and scenic viewpoints. It's not a commercial trek, which means the route is still raw and relatively untouched — adding to the charm and authenticity of the experience. What makes Mhauli Fort stand out is the serene environment and the lack of crowd. It’s peaceful, and you can truly connect with nature as you ascend. The sound of birds, the rustling leaves, and the occasional cool breeze make the climb enjoyable. There are patches where you need to be a bit careful due to loose rocks or slippery surfaces, especially during the monsoon, but overall, it's very manageable with proper footwear. Once at the top, you're rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. The fort itself, though in ruins, speaks volumes of the region's historical significance. It's a great spot to just sit, reflect, and enjoy the vastness around you. If you're into photography, this place offers some incredible landscape shots, especially around sunrise or sunset. Pro Tips: Wear good trekking shoes for grip. Carry enough water and some snacks as there are no shops on the way. Start early to avoid trekking in the midday heat. A basic first aid kit is always a good idea. Overall, I’d rate this trek a solid 4.5/5 for its natural beauty, moderate challenge, and peaceful surroundings.

No worries more than 100 peoples go there daily in monsoon. History of place. Mahuli Fort, located near Asangaon in Maharashtra’s Thane district, is one of the most popular trekking destinations for adventure lovers and history enthusiasts. Nestled in the Sahyadri mountain ranges at an elevation of about 2,815 feet, the fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of lush green valleys, rocky pinnacles, and dense forests. Surrounded by the Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary, the trek to Mahuli is as much about natural beauty as it is about exploring history. The fort has deep historical significance, as it was once under the rule of the Mughals before being recaptured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The remnants of fort walls, gateways, water cisterns, and caves still speak of its glorious past. For trekkers, the journey is moderately challenging, taking about 2–3 hours to ascend, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned hikers. During the monsoon season, the trail transforms into a paradise, with waterfalls, mist-covered peaks, and a refreshing climate that enhances the trekking experience. Whether you visit for its historical charm, its natural beauty, or simply to test your trekking spirit, Mahuli Fort never fails to leave a lasting impression.
trekking and adventure, with stunning views of the Sahyadri mountains. The trek includes hiking through forests, tackling some steep patches, and rock climbing opportunities. Visitors can explore the fort's historic walls, temples, and watchtowers, with the option to stay overnight in the caves for exploring the higher pinnacles. The best time to visit is October to March for pleasant weather, though the monsoon offers a lush, vibrant experience with the caveat of challenging conditions.
Feels like heaven on top. Its awesome and easy trek in monsoon. It took us 2.30 hr to climb up. Please carry your food with you. There is only 1 hotel at base. And food is ok.
Mahuli Fort is not for the faint-hearted — it demands good endurance, especially during the steep stretches. Make sure you’re well-prepared with enough water and snacks. It takes time to complete, so start early to avoid trekking in the dark. There are monkeys around the fort area, so keep your food and belongings safe. The base village is Shahapur, and the nearest railway station is Asangaon — from there, you can take a rickshaw or shared transport to the base. Overall, an adventurous trek with beautiful views and a solid test of stamina!

The place is very peaceful located in silent areas of nature. A few kilometers from asangaon station autos are available from the station but going back is a task. The entire area of the temple is very clean. The back side view is of mahuli mountain. It's the Jain community temple. Photography is not allowed but still you can click some pictures.
This place is quite enormous. The Temples were pretty mesmerizing, with fantastic marble artwork and finish. The aura inside the premises is pretty positive and relaxing. Located a half an hour drive away from the shahapur city. We visited this place in May 2022 along with a friend of mine and I would like to visit this place once again with my family. There are carpets present on the floor, so you won't burn your feet while walking bare feet during a summer afternoon.
Beautiful temple with a awesome view of Mahuli mountains at its backside. Clean and beautiful landscaped garden and a small lake adds more feather to this scenic place. Mandir Trust provides unlimited breakfast and lunch at a nominal amount. I loved their policy that nothing should be leftover in the prasad thali. Their services and facilities are clean, neat and in well discplined manner. Don't miss this lovely spot which is just 4 kms from Asangaon railway station.

The highlight is worshipping Shretrapal, the snake God. People believe sighting these snakes brings good fortune, and prayers to Shretrapal fulfill wishes. Definitely a must visit in monsoon. It literally felt like a Hollywood film shoot location. It has many waterfalls, foggy clouds, trails and beautiful mountains to witness. This is a place where one can come with their family too coz there are no hassles while trailing
Naneghat is one of those rare places where nature and history blend perfectly. As you trek up or drive towards it, you’ll often find yourself literally inside the fog! Sometimes, the visibility drops so low that you can’t even see a few feet ahead — and that makes the journey even more thrilling. It’s a surreal experience where the clouds wrap around you, and suddenly, when the fog clears, you’re gifted with breathtaking views and the overwhelming depth of the valley below. It truly feels like standing on the edge of the Earth! But Naneghat isn’t just about natural beauty. It holds an important place in Indian history. Did you know it was the first toll plaza in India back in ancient times? Traders used this route to travel between the Konkan coast and the Deccan plateau, and the stone-carved inscriptions still whisper stories from that era. Don’t miss the reverse waterfall during the monsoon — it’s a natural wonder where water defies gravity due to strong winds. The caves and stone steps carved into the mountain add to the mystical charm. Whether you’re a trekker, history lover, or someone just looking for peace in nature — Naneghat is a must-visit. Just pack a raincoat, some snacks, and get ready to lose yourself in the fog… and in time.
Do not carry and parcel alcohol very strict. Cloud 🌨️ and foggy atmosphere, reverse waterfall visit in monsoon season
Naneghat is a scenic and breathtaking destination that truly comes alive during the monsoon season. Surrounded by lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and mist-covered valleys, it offers a magical experience for nature lovers and trekkers alike. Steeped in history, Naneghat once served as an important trade route between the Konkan region and the rest of Maharashtra. Walking along this ancient pass, you can almost imagine the traders and travelers who once crossed these paths centuries ago. While the monsoon adds to its charm, it also attracts large crowds, especially on weekends. If you prefer a quieter experience, weekdays are ideal, as the footfall is much lower. Overall, Naneghat offers the perfect blend of adventure, natural beauty, and historical intrigue, making it a must-visit for anyone eager to explore the hidden gems of Maharashtra.
Place with a great historical importance... history dates back to 2000 yrs ...!! great view...! Better if u visit on weekdays...becoz sat n Sunday attract crowd. Restaurants are available near it .
This place is amazing 🤩The describe beauty of nature. So beautiful place this is Paradise in Junnar🏞❤‍🔥🖤
A must-visit spot for anyone who loves tranquility and natural beauty.
Naneghat, meaning "coin pass" in Marathi, was a crucial trade route during the Satavahana dynasty (c. 200 BCE – 190 CE). It connected the ancient ports of the Konkan coast (like Sopara and Kalyan) to the trade centers on the Deccan plateau The pass is home to a major cave with ancient Sanskrit inscriptions in the Brahmi script. These inscriptions, dating back to the 2nd and 1st century BCE, provide valuable historical information about the Satavahana dynasty, including a mention of Queen Naganika.

We took a different route from tungareshwar wildlife sanctuary and not from chinchoti village and it costs us a hectic 7-8 km jungle trek with a breathtaking view and the view from top of the waterfall was amazing…..I highly recommend visiting this waterfall from the sanctuary route because this is an offbeat location and you’ll hardly find any person
This is a waterfall amidst nature completely surrounded by jungle. The water was flowing with good force even when there was no rains for a week.
What a place ,there's lush greenery everywhere and a sense of peace too ,not at all crowded on weekdays . The only disadvantage of no crowd is you dont have people to follow or ask then route and this is where we failed ,we were not able to reach the waterfall tried 2 to 3 routes but ended up no where . Came back to start point and there is a small pool where locals enjoy the water is not so deep and we enjoyed there . We hired two autos one from naigaon to chinchoti Naka and then Naka to Chinchoti police chowki ...30/- plus 20/- per seat
You definitely have to go, it's an hour away from where I live (malad west) you won't regret it. but before embarking on the adventure, first ask the inhabitants of the place carefully about the way, because since there is nothing signposted, it is very likely that you will get lost be careful because it is a real trekking, you will have to cross rivers and get wet, cross mud, climb rocks, so wear good shoes, dry clothes to change into, your bag for the garbage you generate and take good care of yourself. we went very early, that's good because you won't see many people. I really insist that you take care of your trash because the place was still pretty clean and it's good that it stays that way 🙏🏽❤️
It is amazing in rains There are lush green dense forests There are many rivulets and waterfalls Accessible till top by car and bike however you will have to do a lot of off roading For bikes roads can become slippery in rains so exercise caution There is also a temple so can go visit that as well. Must visit spot in rains
An amazing place to visit during the monsoon! But be aware of slippery rocks, and avoid jumping into the water if you don't know how to swim — it can be very risky at times. Visit during monsoon — but leave the childlike daredevils at home 😆. Slippery rocks don’t care about your confidence!
Enjoyable moments with local area people. Relaxing in cold water is mind sleeping. You must go and visit the place with your friends.
This is one amazing trek I had in recent days. Post Covid revenge travel was always gonna b exciting. But this trek just tested my patience. Firstly I took an easy road via Tungareshwar but before the start I came to know via locals that it was close so I had to go via Bhiwandi entry. The Bhiwandi entry will take you to a place where you have to park your vehicle very far from the deep jungle and start trekking. I started my trek without any guide and just a hope to find this amazing place. As we were entering the jungle we were warned by the locals to be careful as this was not a normal way to reach the waterfall. I had seen the video on YouTube so I knew this was challenging and adventurous. I literally had to walk through deep jungle with Mahadeo's name all through my journey. Praying I don't have to encounter any wild animal and come back safe. It was fun and a mesmerising view. I also had bought food and ate in the middle of the waterfall on the rocks.. It was amazing and a much needed trek. Thanks to my wife who was with me throughout as we had nonstop 1.5 hrs continuous walk to the waterfall.
