We came around 6pm+. Paid for parking using TnG. There are McDonald's, KFC, and Starbucks by the beach. There was a boardwalk trail, but it is now closed due to safety reasons. Lots of monkeys there. Be wary of them, as one of the monkeys snatched away McDonald's ice-cream from my Mum. Other than the monkeys, this is a very nice beach, picturesque and reasonably clean.
Beautiful beach with a nice view. many people were enjoying bubble toys and modern kites. The beach is clean and scenic. This photo was taken around 6 PM. Nearby, you’ll find McDonald’s, Starbucks, and KFC, making it a convenient spot for relaxing, family gatherings, and snapping some great photos.
A quiet beach with a peaceful vibe, but don’t expect too much. The area is still quite underdeveloped with minimal facilities. Some parts are clean, but there’s also visible litter in certain spots. Nice for a short stroll, sunset view or a picnic if you don’t mind the simplicity. Not really a swimming beach, more of a scenic chill spot. Could be a gem if properly maintained.
the beach was very well maintained. It was safe and clean to take a deep. But maybe I went on a random weekend, school and long holiday will be packed.
The most clean and beautiful beach that I've ever been. Everything just look so perfect and beautiful. The trail that lead to this beautiful sandy beach that were hidden away has a scenery that will take ur breath away
Nice beach with nice sand. Quite picturesque. However it can get crowded during weekends and public holidays. Spend time to take a walk, chill in Starbucks or McDonald’s. Next to Hyatt.
It's a little away from town center but very popular place in Kuantan. Beautiful white sandy beach. There is a parking lot. Mc Donald's, starbucks are area facing. There is a family mart nearby.
Tak perlu pergi jauh untuk menghayati view cantek, dalam malaysia ada banyak hidden germ yang boleh cari and duduk hayati. I suggest to drive and find it, like how I keep come back here. Drive from KL around 4 or 5 am and arrive just nice around before 9am for you tuk cari breakfast at PEKAN and then come here to admire the view and you will find peace all of the stress from big city.

Longtime, beachfront sanctuary featuring a turtle hatchery, guided tours & educational exhibits.

Anyone can enter to this place. The sanctuary only closed in Monday and public holiday. Good for child, school student to know more about the turtle with story about types of turtle and 1 pool with baby turtle less 1 month, 1 pool with turtle 2month dan 4month and another pool with big turtle live there.
Free entrance, but you are encouraged to donate some for the sanctuary daily operation. Highly recommended to bring your kids here and learn about turtle hatching, their life and challenges after the turtles were released to the sea. There are 3 to 4 pools available for the visitors to see the real turtles. There were also explanation board in the exhibition room. The place is small, very near to the beach. If you don't like hit weather, come early in the morning. Souvenirs were also being sold at the front desk area.
Pretty good place to see turtle. You can also book a time to see turtle laying eggs, but i forgot whether you need to pay for it or free. And it needs to be a group. Can contact them for details. Personally, I like the turtle sanctuary in Pantai Kerachut. From the explanation of the staff in both sanctuaries, I like what they are doing in Pantai Kerachut more. Try going to both and you will understand why.
4/5 1st October 2023 Came here to ClubMed Cherating on holiday so came here as one of the trips. It’s truly nice to see how they care for the environment and these turtles. Learned a lot about the turtles and the small babies as well. Have a visit if you’re around.
Still worth your half an hour to 45 mins visit, an informative display gallery, a few ponds with isolated (maybe injured) / 2 big turtles, and a pond with lots of baby turtles. We visited it on Saturday afternoon. The front counter staff was friendly. We were told the centre will be closed at 4.30pm. And we can come back at 6pm if we are interested in joining the baby turtles release. And it is free to join. If we want to see the big turtle lay eggs on the beach, there is only one place which is Teluk Mak Nik. And a fee and booking in advance is required.
Can bring children here to learn about turtles. It's not a big place, but there's a gallery and info about turtle's species. People also can see a real turtle.
A small centre next to Club Med Cherating. There were 3 pools, one with 2 Green turtles, one with the hatchlings and one where a turtle was kept from the others as it was attacked by the others. It was amazing seeing the animals up close but I feel sorry for them as the pool conditions could be better. The displays were informative but basic. They work with Club Med Cherating to collect the eggs laid on their private beach and entry is free.
Simple place with a small gallery but cute to see baby turtles and learn about turtles. Entry is free and by donation. I enjoyed it!

The room is very comfortable, clean and spacious. Facilities inside the room also good. The only thing is that if they had metal coffee spoons would be better compared to the plastic stirrer. The staff at check in counter also very supportive, friendly and pleasant. I will come again if there is any promotions for the room rate... hehehe...
The key point for any establishments is : maintenance. The lack of it is evident. The safari park does have interesting animals but they need more care. Important update: I believe the safari park is now closed. Please double check before making the trip.
Recommended budget trip for family with kids. There's many villa with 3 rooms can comfortably stay for a big family or group. The Safari & Water Park ticket is RM88 for adult and cheaper for kids. Best to stay night to enjoy the activities. The only issue is the selection of dinning place is really limited, it's far away from the big town Kuantan up to an hour of driving.
We had a conference in the resort. The service maintenance staff were responsive and able to resolve the the problems on a timely manner. The restaurant F&B staff were friendly and provided good service. The food was fresh and tasty. However could have been better if the maintenance of the place was better as the corridors leading to the rooms looked run down and a bit messy. Also the towels provided smelt musty and one of the arm chair in the bed room needed repairs.
Spacious room. Ballroom quite big. Lack of proper maintenance. Another pool at Caribbean is not maintained. Food not so great compared to other resort, but lot of staffs to handle and fast service.
Sets of photographs during my visit here in 2010.. Now BGRC resume the operation after COVID-19 outbreak.. I wish to see the latest condition of BGRC and plan to visit and stay here very soon...
This review is only about the Safari Park part of the resort; we haven't been to the rest of it. Basically this place is one of the biggest I've ever seen, but many parts of it are still not completed. The management might have some funding issues and are not doing enough marketing of the place. Maybe because it's located really far from major population centers, so it's really a hassle to get there. However the place is worth a visit if you're nearby. It just feels a bit dead with barely no visitors but us, and the animals! Despite that, they stick doing all the shows on time, which are quite elaborate. Just make sure you drink lots of water and are fit to walk around up and down as this place is huge. In addition to promotion, the place needs more cooling, like fans and sprinklers for the visitors.
This is a resort that has a huge waterpark, a safari with many wild animals and many shows and scheduled activities for children and adults alike. This would make a memorable holiday destination for families vacationing on their own as well as in groups. It has two main sections, Arabian and Carribean but except for different names and some minor differences in room style both are the same. For accommodation also available are independent bungalows with 3, 4 & 5 rooms. Breakfast buffets are included in room charges. The buffet has hot and cold items and is sufficient variety. There are themed restaurants and cafés. Rooms are basic with not many features or facilities so get your own things. Staff is helpful but takes time for everything.

This was Kuantan city outlet for UNIQLO 👕 It's looks huge here and not too normal 😉 They're sell a lot of clothing here, like a lot 😄 Recently just bought Super Mario design shirt and I love it 💖 They have self serve counter for you to pay the payment and they have smart busket on that machine 🥹 Staff on there super friendly whatever there's no greetings like on online said but I'm good haha 😅 5/5 🌟 Mr Fish Approved 👍
This is my favourite shop for clothings. I buy most of everything here. This shop is so much better now after the renovation. I like the self check out system. Very effective, convenient and fast. The quality of everything here is very high.
Subject: Complaint Regarding Defective Product Purchased at Uniqlo Outlet, Kuantan Dear Uniqlo Management, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made at the Uniqlo outlet in Capital Mall, Kuantan, on October 31st. On that day, I bought a t-shirt priced at RM 51. After returning home and sending the t-shirt to the laundry, I discovered multiple defects on the garment, including noticeable areas of poor quality and damage. I was extremely disappointed to realize that I had purchased a product that was clearly defective, especially considering the price I paid. Given the inconvenience and the fact that I work far from Kuantan, I was unable to return the item or take immediate action. I would have preferred to address this directly with your store, but due to my busy schedule, I was unable to visit the outlet again. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and upset. As a loyal customer, I expect better quality control and customer service from a reputable brand like Uniqlo. I am now concerned that this purchase was a waste of my money, and I would like to know what steps Uniqlo will take to resolve this issue. Please advise me on how I can proceed with a return or refund, as I believe this product does not meet the standard that Uniqlo is known for. If necessary, I am prepared to escalate this matter further to consumer protection authorities. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Muhammad Adam Balan
UNIQLO always another places to buy some authentic and licensed merch for some franchise like Nintendo, Sanrio and more 💖 They're recently have Pokémon and Super Mario design T Shirt collection sell here 🥰 Recently just bought Super Mario design T Shirt, it's looks so cool 🤩 Whatever it's expensive but still worth to buy it, their quality are too good 🥹 Approved by MochiNeko 😺🍡
Great variety of clothing available at this outlet. High quality clothing and comfortable to use. The price is not so cheap.
Dear Uniqlo Manager, Please teach your staff to be more respectful especially one of the female staff members. Shouting and using sarcasm with customers is completely unacceptable. Basic manners and professionalism should be a priority, especially in customer service. I am very disappointed. 👎🏻
Close for renovation, wish i know sooner than wasted 1 hr in journey back n forth to only go to uniqlo :(
Staff in the fitting room was rude! Raises her voice with a heavy tone when trying on clothes. Please be kind to customers as we are polite to you. Learn some basic manners.

Lovely place and people. Not fancy or anything, just a nice, quiet, comfortable little house. We had a two bed, two bathroom. 5 mins walk to the beach, too. Very chilled. Little cafe, Ombak is in walking distance. The beach was very nice, too. Not the most beautiful, but the water was clean, and everyone was happy. Beach vibes. Careful of the monkeys, though
Tanjung Inn, Cherating – A Sweet Escape from the City If you’re looking for a quick escape from the city without needing a passport, Tanjung Inn in Cherating hits the spot. I stayed at Villa 2, priced at RM350/night it fits up to 4 people comfortably. The highlight? Open the door and boom 💥 you’re greeted by a circular pond right in front of the room. It’s so calming, especially in the late afternoon with a cup of coffee and some snacks. Pure serenity. There’s a dedicated pathway to the beach, so getting some sea therapy is easy. No swimming pool here but who needs one when the wide, open sea is right there? Plus, the sea breeze is chef’s kiss. Now, let’s talk about the room. It was decent and clean, but I do think the facilities could use a bit of a refresh maybe a small uplift to modernize things a bit. The air-cond... hmmm, let’s just say it worked, but needed some persuasion. 😅 Toilet? Surprisingly good! Clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the clever outdoor-access route straight to the bathroom perfect for washing up after a beach session so you don’t drag all that sand into the room. Food at night? No worries plenty of eateries nearby. Price-wise, agak sama macam KL (ye la, inflation kan), but still manageable. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were friendly and helpful truly top-notch service. They were always available and willing to assist whenever we needed something. Would I come back? Definitely. It’s not about 5-star luxury, but about nature, peace, and that easy, breezy Cherating vibe.
Firstly, upon arrival, we noticed that the room was far from clean. The air conditioning unit emitted a peculiar and unpleasant stench whenever it was turned on. Also, the design and overall ambiance of the room were unwelcoming and did not provide the cozy, relaxing environment we had anticipated. The toilet was in an unacceptable state, with pee stains and tissue scattered around. Despite requesting assistance to have the toilet sterilised, no support was provided. To make matters worse, I fell sick with a fever on the last day, which I suspect was due to the unhygienic conditions. Additionally, the blankets provided were too thin to offer any warmth, though thankfully, I had brought my own. There were also essential amenities missing in the room. There was no telecom, clock, hand soap or hairdryer available, which I believe are basic necessities for any decent accommodation. To add to our discomfort, we encountered two large cockroaches in the toilet area. This was extremely unsettling and unacceptable.
Nice place to stay, feel like you stay in resort with the great view & near to beach just walk away 150mtr from my room. Some more, owner is very friendly and suggested best place to go
If you’re looking for a place to stay with all the amenities and facilities, this place is not for you. You should go to Royale Chulan instead. But if you want a place to chill, like a pitstop before you continue your journey, stay here. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tanjung Inn. It was so cosy and beautiful. Sure, a lot can be improved but we loved it. It was so chill. Lots of trees, plants and flowers. We stayed here for 1 night before we head back to KL. - The chalet is walkable to nearby cafes. Around 10mins. - Staffs are accomodating and friendly. - No WIFI in the chalet, only at the reception area and library. But need to ask for keys to access. - You have to carry your own bags to your chalet - Water pressure is good with water heater - Bed is comfy, but aircond need time to cool the room. - Got iron but need to return back - No toiletries given, only towels. But we didnt mind We would come back just to chill
Beautiful bungalows in a wonderful garden setting very close to the sea. Highly recommended.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the outdoor area is very beautiful but I must give the room a poor rating because it wasn’t very clean. The worse part is we noticed on our last day (unfortunately) that the wooden bed frame had insect eggs on the sides. They offered us another room but it smelled like cigarettes and the wooden tables also nestled eggs. Overall the rooms must be better maintained and a call to pest control should be prioritized.
The chalet is just about 50 meters to the beach. Good location.

This place is a little bit crowded during school holidays. But,you still have fun playing in the water park. Very recommended.
2nd time visited pahang and 1st time coming here with my children.. it is a good place for your children to have fun with water if you don't have another waterpark to go.. the facilities are still good and the tickets to enter the park are still reasonable.. you can find much more excitement park than this place but you need to get ready to spend more money than here.. for me, this place just enough for my children to spend their weekend if we don t have any place to go..
One way to improve Gambang Water Park could be to invest in new and exciting water rides and attractions. This park could offer more amenities such as lounge chairs, and umbrellas for guests. Another way to improve the park could be to offer more food and beverage options, including healthier options, and have more seating areas for guests to enjoy their meals. Finally, the park could also improve customer service by providing more staff members to assist guests and ensure their safety. The high price of amenities at Gambang Water Resort Pahang is a major drawback for many visitors. The resort charges exorbitant rates for basic amenities such as cabanas, tubes, and even water bottles, which can add up quickly and eat into the budget of a family or group. Additionally, the resort's food and drink prices are also significantly higher making it a less attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. Overall, the high cost of amenities at Gambang Water Resort Pahang is a major downside that may deter many potential visitors from choosing to visit there.
It was hell fun ya. Enjoyed alot. The amazing waterpark activities, the Coco beach, specially slides were much amusement. One can get relaxation and liveliness there after a tiring routien. The crystal slides were scary but too much fun. The family tub slides we did like more than 4 times it was love. The kids pool is much more amusement. Coco beach was also awsome. Overall is just awsome place for fun and entertainment. Very reasonable price and food available. Easy Transport to get to the waterpark from kuantan. Car parking is available.
Waterpark definitely need to be revamp. Place is not properly maintain. Lazy river is super dirty. I even saw a snail & frog inside...lucky i was on the tube. Only 4 activities was operating that day. Super limited. Even saw a "poop" before entering the ladies toilet. Place can be a good attraction for tourists if properly maintain.
The impact of covid really affected them. A lot of facilities need to be repaired and upgraded. The adult water slides are still close. Nevertheless, those with kids under 12 might find the place value for money....
Fun Fun Fun. Some of the water slides are closed for renovation. Other than than my humble advise.. be there early as possible or book online. The crowd is huge.
Great place for family and group activities. A lot facility water park. Safari can see live animals safe.

Wow...was an amazing experience! The staff Mustafa and the team were so professional. Respond quickly to questions on their WhatsApp service. The tour was the best. Informative, night boat ride epic with the water algae glowing in the wake of the boat, pitch dark and getting to see a bountiful amount of fireflies. Highly, highly recommend this company 💕
The night was calm, the air carrying whispers of nature’s secrets. As we embarked on the firefly-watching tour, the hospitality and warmth of the team welcomed us like old friends. The tour lead, with their vast knowledge and passion, transformed the journey into more than just an excursion—it was a masterclass in the delicate balance of ecosystems. Gently gliding through the mangroves, the world came alive with an otherworldly glow. The fireflies danced in harmonious rhythm, as though each tiny light held a story to tell. It was mesmerizing, a spectacle of nature’s artistry that left us in awe. Every detail, from the thoughtful service to the intricate tales shared, made this experience unforgettable. It wasn’t just about watching fireflies—it was about connection, wonder, and gratitude for a world that continues to surprise us. Truly a fascinating and enchanting memory to cherish. Photo images and video clips are taken via Poco F5 Pro at standard mode
Hafiz seems really passionate about his work and conservation efforts which is great. However, my family and I felt that the firefly experience was not worth the time and money. Could barely see anything worthwhile and the workers in-charge of steering the boat were smoking the entire time. Ps. video here is the most action from the fireflies on this tour. You can definitely see more in the kampong without going through all this effort.
It was great! Mesmerising and magical experience. Highly recommended. Encik Hafiz is passionate about his job and gives good explanation. He studied firefly communication and can make the fireflies come over to us. It's not something you could experience elsewhere!
We were here to watch the fireflies in Cherating. Our boatman was Mr Hafiz himself. He took us around the 7km waterways and showed/called the fireflies for us. I enjoyed myself throughout the trip. The most beautiful scene was at the last spot where the fireflies lighted the tree, and the tree looked like a Christmas tree! Amazing!
Very interesting place. You can enjoy the sunrise, sun set and also beautiful animals like goats , cows turtle. Very serene and quiet place. Go for a resort nearby I recommend vi villa resort.
My third time visiting. The quality of service / experience no longer reflect the quality few years back. 1. No briefing given prior to the trip. 2. Too many boats, as if every boats competing for firefly. 3. Last time it was Hafiz himself doing the navigation, and explaining about firefly during the trip.
Awesome experience with Hafiz and team, made it very comfortable and educational. Joined the firefly at night and mangrove cruise in the morning. Enjoyed every single second. Saw a mud crab, snake, monkeys on mangrove cruise. Firefly at night, they will guide the fireflies to u, u can hold it in ur hand. Can’t miss experience! 10/10 rec. if you have transport, book it directly from here, not your hotel (charged much higher)

My experience at Sungai Pandan Waterfall was very good. One thing I really liked is that the water is shallow near the waterfall, so kids can enjoy it safely. There are also slightly deeper areas (less than one meter) near the entrance for adults to swim. The toilets are clean and well-maintained. I recommend visiting on weekdays, as the place gets very crowded on weekends.
Nestled in the heart of lush greenery, this stunning multi-tiered waterfall offers a refreshing escape into nature. The cascading streams over the large rock formation creates and soothing visual, and the natural pool below is perfect for a cool swim on the hot day. But on weekday, this waterfall still crowded with the people.
Great recreation spot for families and friends of all ages. Open from 9am, so be sure to come early to get the best picnic spots. Plenty of parking available and the facilities are well maintained. The changing rooms/shower area can be improved though. It would be nice if they can add the shower rooms bcs it can be a bit packed in there
What an amazing place. These are the best waterfalls that I have been to.in Malaysia. So clean, refreshing, deep and breathtakingly beautiful. This is a must visit place if you are in or near Kuantan. We drove from Cherating and it was so worth it. Malaysia 🇲🇾 Truely Asia 🌏 💖 We.will be back again soon insha'Allah
A refreshing gem en route to Kuantan! Sungai Pandan Waterfall is a perfect pit stop for nature lovers. The area was bustling with locals enjoying picnics, while only a few tourists had found this hidden treasure. The river is clear, with small fish darting between the rocks—dip your feet in for an instant cooling sensation. We even spotted mushrooms and Dipterocarp trees, adding to the richness of the forest vibe. A rejuvenating break that’s worth the short detour.
Its a wonderful waterfall to just sit under the cold falling water. Water was clean and freshly cool. Not many visitors during weekday and so we managed to sit around near the edge of the water. There are many small fishes in the water. Becareful of the slippery stone. The entire park was kept clean and there is only 1 drink stall opened. The toilet just built and it was clean. Big land area for parking. Will definitely visit again if we go to Kuantan.
One of the best experiences that you must have when in Kuantan. Refreshing when the waterfall splash onto your back and head. It is not deep. Slightly rocky, but when underneath the waterfall, it is sandy and walkable. Not deep at all. Quite well maintained with toilet changing and bathing facilities. One caution for tourists is that you can take Grab there. However, no grab driver will come to the waterfall and fetch you. Thus, you need to drive there or arrange your transport back. Otherwise, might be challenging when no grab drivers come. We are lucky to meet 3 kind Malay girls who fetch us to Lotus. Terima kasih to them! Kind souls!🙏
I’m a person who goes hiking quite frequently — at least 1–2 times a month. I was in Kuantan for a short trip and just wanted to visit this spot before I balik. I didn’t set my expectations too high because I usually hike and reach waterfalls with more effort and fewer crowds. I also try to go to places that are less crowded. But this place was super duper crowded — no place to sit at all. I understand it’s a spot where families usually come by, unlike more challenging hiking trails. But the cleanliness? So dirty. Diapers everywhere, drink bottles thrown around. The waterfall even smelled like soggy food because of the number of people doing BBQs. (Their choice, but think of a place you go to relax — yet you get this.) I spent just 20 minutes here and left. There was no place to sit, and honestly, it was just disgusting the way people treated the place. It’s a beautiful waterfall, no doubt — but I never got to experience that beauty because of the environment created by the crowd. Advice to management: Please don’t allow BBQs near the waterfall. Set up designated BBQ areas near the camping sites or lower down where the waterfall flows, so people who want to enjoy the falls can do so peacefully. Sungai Pandan, Kuantan It’s a shame I never got to see the real beauty of this waterfall.

Another Kuantan city legend and old Shopping Mall 😉 This Shopping Mall looks huge and big 😌 I remember come to here when I was kids, mostly because Popular Bookstore before they're moved to new Shopping Mall 🥹 But sadly most of their OG shop are closed such as, Parkson, POPULAR Bookstore, Giant and GSC Cinema 😔 Not to mentioned, some of their escalator are keep not working and not fixed it until now, mostly need the lift to go to several floor 🥺 But luckily, they have still got some visitors and customers, mostly because Jalan Jalan Japan, Tatako Kuantan, Kuantan Megalanes, Harvey Norman and more 😅 Hope they will fix issues and more interesting shop that I stated before 👍 Approved by MochiNeko 😺🍡
Big mall, currently under refurbishing. Most shops are closed. Saving grace is the aircon and McDonald’s. And for goodness sake please lubricate the sliding glass door at main entrance.
This is Kuantan city another legend shopping mall and quite famous those days 🛒🛍️ They're previously known by now permanently closed Giant, POPULAR Bookstore, Parkson and more 📚 Until now this shopping mall feels like half abandoned shopping mall since some shop that attracted a lot of visitors are closed, some of them are stated previously 😮‍💨 Even until now they have some shop that still can try to help to attract visitors like Jalan Jalan Japan, Tatako, Wedding Hall and Megalanes Bowling Corner, also some event on here too 😄 Their toilet quite okay but still not sure how clean the toilet room 🤔 But sadly they're still have some issues for their several elevator, still not fixed yet and even take too long to fix it 😢 Hope they can have more new shops for more visitors and fix the elevators for easier visitors to another level without lift 👍
Old mall. Not much shops. It is pretty clean and tidy. I think they tried to revive and reinvent the place but to no avail. Nostalgic feeling coming back here after more than 10 years.
It was the most happening shopping complex before in Kuantan back in early in 2000s, it had the biggest arcade at top floor. Many shops for shopping and weekend family hangout place. But now it is a quite deserted and left for starbucks and sketchers .. to be suprise the guardian still have the old signboard .
Located next to Grand Darulmakmur hotel. Deserted mall. Not many customers, most probably because there are many new malls. Have a cinema at the third level. There are clothings, shoes, jewellery, gadgets and watch stores. Also, they have McDonald and other restaurants. At the ground level, there is a sale of cheap clothings, a men 's T-shirt for RM29, children for RM19, and babies RM5

Beautiful mosque on night time and beautiful main mosque on Kuantan city also Pahang State 😌 Recommend to take photo with aesthetic filter from Instagram for better result if you want to take beautiful photo for this mosque 💖 5/5 🌟 Mr Fish Approved 👍
A majestic and magnificent mosque with a vivid history of its history and architecture. Decided to stop here for a quick prayer. Other than the luxury-like settings, the place serves as such a great place to host activities religious or otherwise.
It’s impressive how well-organized and thoughtfully designed everything is. There are clear signboards everywhere so it’s easy to find your way to the main prayer hall, toilets, and ablution areas without any confusion. The mosque itself is very clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
Well designed, peaceful and provide convenient place for musafirs to stop by, shower, freshen up and perform prayers. Toilet is clean, shower is clean and plenty, provide place to change diapers for babies, have a designated place for nikah, theres signs everywhere to show the way around the mosque. Lets keep the mosque clean 🤍
The mosque is spacious and comfortable, the entrance when we went was a bit confusing. As The sultan also broke his fast together in the MBK field. *in ramadhan*
so many entry access. clean toilet. very comfortable to pray. old architecture yet, still going strong.
Came for a late Dhuha n the masjid was empty except for an ongoing Haj class. May we all be given rezq to go to Haj soon 🤲🏽. Surprisingly huge ruang solat, carpet itself a bit dated n needs more improvements on the maintenance aspects. Other than that, syukur diberikn peluang dan keizinanNYA utk berada di sini. Alhamdulillah.
A must visit place in Kuantan, beautiful in architecture! For non Muslim they provide tour guide to enter here. Parking located outside from mosque area, need to walk a little. This mosque provide many amenities for visitors. It have playground, tables and chairs to eat, wedding room, gazebo and much more. Toilet and wudhu space very clean! Great mosque, thanks for keeping visitors comfort in here :)

A good place to visit, especially for kids. The place is also stroller friendly. My family and I completed the whole tour in 2 hours (3pm - 5pm) despite the place being a "mini" zoo, as there were quite a lot to see & take pictures with. It's not too exhausting to finish the tour. Definitely recommended.
The park is huge and has many live animals as well like a zebra, siamang, otters, crocodiles and deers. I think the price is appropriate tbh considering the park is huge, clean and quite well maintained. Almost all the dinosaurs move (with motion sensors im guessing) and my son really really enjoyed his trip. There are also playground for kids to play. I highly recommend a visit with your little ones here. Best part? its not crowded at all.
In my 1st opinion, they should remove "zoo" from name. There only got few animals in their care. Anyway my kids love it, that's why I give 4 star instead of 3.
Zoo Teruntum is a pretty good spot to hang out with the little ones. It's an easy place to get to with plenty of parking, and there's a nice mix of animals to check out. It's definitely worth going at least once, but honestly, it's probably not a place I'd come back to again.
Just a standard zoo. Entry price is ok range. Not that high, not cheap. Not many living animals inside. But the dinosaur statue/machine, theres LOTS of them in here. Can take many picture, and if ur kid like dinosaur then they will have good time. I arrive at around 11am. Not recommended to come at this hour. Its too hot, and this place not enough tree that cover surface. So u will feel the heat. Better come around 3 or 4 pm onward. No animal to pet (not a petting zoo). nevertheless do come and support this zoo so that they can upgrade ya
Unfortunately, the visit didn’t feel worth the ticket price. I bought a 100 Plus drink inside the zoo and was shocked to find it priced three times higher than at local stores. The animal variety was quite limited, and the dinosaur section appeared run-down and poorly maintained. If you have other options for attractions, I’d recommend going elsewhere. Visiting this zoo might only appeal if you’re truly out of alternatives
Despite the not-so-good review, I feel it is still a decent place to bring kids if you run out of ideas of what to do in Kuantan. We spent 1.5 hours in the park just taking pictures and exploring, the park is clean and can be quite hot if you come in the afternoon. Remember to bring a hat!
Great places especially if you have kids, most of the dinosaurs could move which adds more to the realism. There are also some other animals as well, all of them are cute. But I noticed there's no live shows and some of the tourism visits are closed.

A relaxing walk along the river, great for winding down at the end of the day. There are a few bikes and wheels here for rent. The pathway also leads you directly to the base of the 188 tower
A clean and beautiful esplanade, perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll. Shaded by plenty of trees, it offers a cool escape from the sun. Popular with locals, especially those who enjoy fishing at the designated spots along the way.
Esplanade Kuantan is a lovely spot for both locals and tourists, offering a peaceful riverside atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The well-maintained walkway along the river allows you to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the scenic views of the Kuantan River. It’s also a great place for families, with seating areas and nearby food stalls offering local delights. However, it can get a bit crowded during the evenings, especially on weekends. One of the most charming aspects of the area is the nearby street art. The vibrant murals and creative artwork scattered throughout the streets near the Esplanade add a touch of color and culture to the city. These pieces showcase local talent, often depicting traditional scenes, modern themes, or aspects of daily life in Kuantan. It’s an Instagram-worthy spot that offers visitors a unique glimpse into the local culture. While you’re in the area, I highly recommend dining at Udang Celup. Their seabass celup tepung Restaurant is incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious, all at a very affordable price. The portion size is generous, and the seafood quality is top-notch. It’s one of the best dishes I’ve had in Kuantan, and the casual atmosphere and friendly service only add to the experience. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! Whether you're strolling along the Esplanade, admiring the street art, or enjoying a great meal at Udang Celup, Kuantan offers a blend of natural beauty, culture, and fantastic food.
This was the place to enjoy moon scene and healing in Kuantan city, also picnic too 🥹 You can see the view for bridge that connected with Tanjung Lumpur and Kuantan river 😄 They have some Food and Drink Stall here (F&B Stall), also they have McDonald's on their nearby too 🥰 But their toilet still half satisfied for sure 😢 Here's the night view with Kuantan sign, enjoy 😉 Approved by MochiNeko 😺🍡
Suitable place for night relaxing walk, can see Menara 188 Kuantan view from outside, there is bicycle and scooter rental available, with few dessert & makan shops, can see ppl fishing along way too
Nice for a walking view .. feel so calm
Nice place for a evening walk
Many areas have been upgraded here and are excellent for tourists who come to rest and take pictures. There are several interesting spots for photography, but the river smell is somewhat unpleasant and parking can be challenging

Dried seafood store
Shopping
Slide 1 of 8
I’m not a local in Kuantan, but when I walked into the shop, the owner was incredibly patient in answering all my questions and meeting my needs. His genuine, cheerful, and humorous personality instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease. On top of that, he offered discounts on every product, even if it was just a few ringgit. It may seem small, but the sincerity behind it truly touched me
Great seafood store with a wide variety of dried seafood at reasonable prices. The lady boss is very friendly and attentive. She’s especially patient with customers who aren’t familiar with seafood, taking the time to explain and recommend suitable options. For example, when I wasn’t sure which type of dried squid was best for soup, she personally explained the differences and gave helpful suggestions. Excellent service and a pleasant shopping experience — highly recommended!
The prices were affordable. Staffs were friendly. And had a good variety of dried items. Will surely come back in future. Don't forget to drop by here. For a clean and fruitful experience. Before balik must come buy jajan ma.
Ideally located shop (On the way out to highway) that sells all sorts of dried fish stuff. Shall I say dried seafood stuff one can buy.
Visited Hasil Laut Kiah Kee to get my hands on Kuantan’s famous Mui Heong salted fish—loved for its rich aroma and soft, oily texture. It’s traditionally made from fish like red fish (ikan merah), threadfin (ikan kurau), or mackerel (ikan tenggiri), and is a cherished ingredient in Cantonese-style dishes. The large salted red fish (ikan masin merah) is especially popular here. You’ll need to buy the whole fish, but they can help pack it into smaller portions—perfect for sharing with friends. I ended up going for the smaller salted red fish and was not disappointed. Bonus surprise: they also sell traditional Chinese green bean biscuits (biskut Tou Sa)—and they were surprisingly delicious! A great local stop for foodies and thoughtful souvenirs.
Cheap prices and quality products Good service by the staff. You can see that a lot of truck drivers will come and purchase some dried seafood.
If you here in Kauntan and looking to buy seafood produce, you can't go wrong by coming here. It has lots of choices and prices are reasonable. Service is good and friendly. But the environment is spartan as best. Very basic. Other than that it is ok. One of down side is that it is a bit far away from town.
Good variety of dried seafood.

A fabulous bay like beach where the waters is calm, waves are not very strong and the scenery is great. Water is clean and great for swimming. The whole beach stretches long and wide and one end is a beautiful estuary with the Cherating river
The golden sand of the beach is great. Clean beach with calm water. Club Med is just beside.
We loved it here, didn’t regret coming, look at my videos! Visited on a Saturday after 5pm
Fun to explore the beach during low tide. Many marine life. Sad to see trash discarded at the beach intentionally. Parents should ensure no plastic toys left behind and discard the toy packaging in the bin. Some of the trash include plastic disposable cups and plastic spoons for ice-cream. Let's do our part to keep our beach clean. And also please leave the marine life alone. Do not tease them and throw them in the air.
Best clean stretch of Sandy beach to call your own.
We went on March, windy, clear blue sky and of course sunny beach. No rain during our visit, which was good, our girls and ourselves love it so much. I had a sunrise run along the beach. Nice and rejuvenating.
Lovely beaches, with beach bars and restaurants, turtle sanctuary, Hafizs Tours, just remember to take some cash with you as there is no ATMS, and only accept cash
Very long and nice beach. There are many resorts/villas/bungalows around. All the restaurants are near and all the shops are selling batik products. 😊 Don't miss out the Don't Tell Mama Ecobar😉

Good place but can be better. Built in 2 storey shop lot this 3d art gallery is no different with the others of its kind. The art is quite similar too anywhere else. But, with a few arts that shows the mines of Sungai Lembing is quite interesting. We got discount on the ticket - RM10.
Clean, calm, sceneric, peaceful ,historical place and enjoyable experience too!
Was a tin mining spot back during the British rule.
Entrance fee (15 March 2019) - Adult: RM16.00 - Child (height below 130cm): RM12.00 - Child 2 years old and below: Free Open 9 am to 6pm daily There are two 3D galleries in Sungai Lembing. The other one is "Old City 3D Trick Art Gallery" located along the main road about 80 metres south of the Country View Inn / food court.
The paintings is ok and lot of it available and up to you to take photo. The location is a little bit hidden and the parking is not that many. The disadvantage maybe on the fee itself. RM16 per adult is too much.
It really great here.. Eventhough it's not like an giant gallery emporium, you still can make a really good memories
Great place to take photo. You can spend your time there and think whatever creative poses you like with 3D paint.
