We were told as I got my drink that we are not allowed to feed the children their own food inside, so in other words to leave. We were in the cafe less than 10-15 mins and would have been there less time had the staff been faster to serve. The staff had the discretion to allow us to stay for a short while in the circumstances but instead chose to lose our custom for the future. While we wished to be respectful of your policies, there was no compassion on a wet day for families and these policies seem to be unfriendly. Looks like they source quality beans so if you don’t want to drink terrible coffee (widely available in the UK…) this is a worthwhile stop.
