I love the sweet and the spice all mixed in with gooey cheese and a little bit of bacon. Perfection! Please note, this is a small shop, and it gets busy in a mountain tourist town. They are making them fresh, and it takes some time. Be patient, it is well worth the wait! My sister will challenge that statement because she subbed the peach jalapeño jam for fig jam and it was delicious too. They are to go only but they have a lovely patio area to enjoy your sandwich. When I got home and discovered they were too tight, I figured I would just take them back to the store and exchange for some that fit better. Unfortunately when I got there, ALL of them were too tight, no matter what size I chose. I had just purchased them the day before and had my receipt, but they said they only did exchanges for store credit, not returns or refunds. I never saw that policy anywhere and was told it was printed right on my receipt - you know, the thing you get AFTER you pay and purchase an item... Later I discovered it in small print off to the left at the counter, but even then the wording was confusing. One line said "no returns, only exchanges or store credit" and then a line below that said "returns only available for items not on sale" - I wish I had gone back in to get a photo. The store "manager" called the owner and didn't give all the information, talked rudely of us while we were right there and told us returns weren't possible and offered me an exchange for "some napkins or plates"... When I suggested they make their return policy more clear and place it in front of where customers pay, the "manager" said she had never heard of stores making their return policy bigger or clearer... And that most stores do not accept returns... Luckily, another store nearby that sells the same brand was gracious enough to accept a brand new item (the shoes I bought at Serves You Right) and exchange it for a different pair of shoes the same brand at no cost and without hesitation. My family and I have been shopping in and around the Blowing Rock district for decades and we will no longer return to Serves You Right due to how they treat customers. If you want a better place for your business, head to The Shoppes at Farmer's Hardware on King Street in Boone and you'll be greeted by far kinder staff with much more professional business policies.

(this would also explain only having 1 of every toy since wholesalers generally dont let you order singles of ANYTHING) We spent $85 just because we wanted the things - and it was more about the experience with the new rescue than the prices..... However we would have bought a lot more had the prices been fair. For example - a basic water bowl we walked out with for $35 is $17 anywhere online, plus they had their "Large" bowl tagged as an XL..... and the 8-10" owl toy I wanted to get her was $52 dollars! I found it on petsmart, the manufacturers website, chewy, and everywhere else for $24. Maybe they do a lot of business in fancy dogfood....but I didnt see any, or other customers. Kinda seemed like a tax write-off for their other location(s) that I learned about after studying my receipt - that did not say "Stella Blues". Just my personal opinions and review.
