Really enjoyed the dining experience here. Staff was attentive and friendly and the food was great. The crispy chicken with chili and peppers was just spicy enough without being too hot. All in all, would definitely come back here if I’m ever in the area.

One of the best Chinese joints in woodlands. Loved their ambiance and cozy look. Every dish we ordered was flavourful and it stays with you for a while. Our personal favourite was Singapore noodles and Hunan shrimp. We also enjoyed the hot & sour and egg drop soups. Will definitely keep visiting these guys. The staff is friendly and they serve food at lightning speed. Empty plates in the photos says it all 😜

I was so sweet by the end of the meal I had to stop because of the sicking sweet feeling I was getting. The oil!! Over the top. This was a cesspool of oil. The restaurant is very dirty. Windows had prints all over them. Some of the tables were dirty. There were only 3 tables with people. I watched as the manager picked up a bowl and wiped the table with the used napkin sitting on the table. Yuck! I will not be going back. The service was quick, but like I said there were only 3 tables with people.

Trust the reviews, the food here is TERRIBLE. We unfortunately ordered a family feast (so we tried numerous dishes, all of which were intolerable) and not a single member could finish it. Comments were as follows: “this tastes like weird sweet soap”, “the lettuce wraps taste like a burnt curling iron smells,” “why is the chicken that color?”, “something tastes rotten.” PRAYING we aren’t all sick tonight. $60+ down the drain and totally wasted. The customer service here was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t deliver. My Thai lettuce wraps had barely any chicken, and the Mongolian steak was mostly gristle, which made it hard to enjoy. To top it off, there were a few gnats buzzing around, which was not exactly appetizing. I think I’ve officially gotten my Pei Wei fix — I’m probably good for the next ten years before I come back.

Pei Wei did an awesome job on our huge 270 person catering order for the College Park High School Band. The meal was a HIT and the restaurant took special care to make sure our kids with allergies got food that was safe for them to eat. The food was delivered on time and was delicious! The curry chicken is excellent! It's pretty basic and mild with the flavor turmeric and sweet creamy coconut milk. The menu said it is a little spicy, which I guess is a necessary disclaimer for people scared of a little tingle on the tongue but I wouldn't consider it spicy. I added my own Scotch bonnet pepper powder to mine and it was awesome!
Crab rangoons were great too! Light and crispy and very nice cream cheese inside. They were perfect dipped in the chili paste mixed with the sweet chili sauce.

The wife and I took a lunch break and decided on Chinese. My dearly departed neighbor used to live off this place when she was alive and recommended it to me. After arriving wifey ordered an app. Crab Rangoon is her go to tizer. They were good, especially dipping them in Duck sauce. Then came the main courses. Me, Triple Delight and wifey countered with her favorite, Sesame Chicken with fried rice. Her Sesame Chicken is delicious. Succulent and tender smothered in that msg like sauce. My Triple Delight was not great but good enough. Nancy our server is a hoot so make sure to sit in her section. She's a Triple Delight in her own right 😜. There you have it folks. Three of us stopped in about 8pm & we’re very pleased with our choice!! Inside it is very clean & there is plenty of comfortable seating. The staff was extremely nice & friendly. They offered some helpful suggestions. When the food came we were all super impressed! The food was delicious and generous portions! When we went to leave, one of the ladies even put my leftover jasmine tea in a to-go cup, which was so nice!!!

My family and I have had a hard time finding a good Chinese spot since moving out here to Texas. This place was so warm and welcoming right when we walked in! It’s clean and the service is awesome! Our waitress was so sweet and engaged with our kids. I highly recommend eating here if you are craving some good Chinese food!

Excellent restaurant, and priced very well. Marco was our server, and he was extremely friendly, fast, courteous, and had some awesome recommendations. The menu is outstanding, from sushi to soups to Chinese cuisine to Vietnamese dishes. There is something for anyone, even the pickiest of eaters. I've never had Korean BBQ. I was expecting something from the menu picture displayed, but got six small slices. Unimpressive flavor. I also got the crab rangoons, but didn't taste any crab, mostly cheese and the overpowering sauce. Good service. We also got the Pad Thai. Didn't really have tamarind flavor. I think your best and safest bet is to get the sushi.

I really dislike gatekeeping, so I need to stop gatekeeping my favorite sushi spot! This is a great Sushi/Asian fusion restaurant. It has a little of almost every Asian culture on their menu. The atmosphere is classy, but not in a snobby kind of way. The food is AMAZING! I gatekeep it because I absolutely LOVE going there when it's pretty quiet and calm. BUT I can't always make it in, so..... Be aware they can at times be pretty popular, even in pop up "usual" slow day moments. GREAT date night for sure! Carry out is my recommendation if you don't have time to dine in. It's closest to freshest that way vs delivery. (Not sure if they personally deliver) However DD & UE delivery services are accepted if you need delivery. Sit back, relax, dine on some sushi of your choice, sip some sake, dine on your savory entrée, and top off with some dessert if you wish.

I ordered the Pad Kra Prow (vegan version without egg) and it was so tasty and flavorful! The cashier was very kind as well! The only minor feedback was that the rice could have been cooked a little more.
But overall, I loved the food and I would highly recommend this place to others!

Order delivered to wrong address. Once we tracked it down in our neighborhood, food was incorrect. Shown only to verify wrong order…we selected pepper steak, large wonton soup, & egg roll. Clearly this isn’t that.
Manager went back and forth with us @ would we accept wrong order this one time…the restaurant was very busy.🤔. NO. The manager asked if we would accept “store credit” for same entree’s next time we order.🤔. NO. We then requested a refund & we would order from another restaurant…Manager responded we needed to bring food back to store for refund. WHAT?? 😳. None of the options were acceptable solutions to the restaurant’s mistake in order. & delivery. End of story…DONE! We ended up disputing charge w/our bank and ordering from a competing restaurant and were very happy. Shortly thereafter we received notice that our order was on the way …from Taste of Asia …🤷♀️. I refused the food since the manager and I already had a LOT of communication…he’d had plenty of chances to make the food right & repair the client relationship, to NO avail. Bad business practices!

New to the area. First time trying Taste of Asia.
I ordered some fried rice on my way home. Aside from *forcing* you to fill out a TIP section for a to-go order, which I don't get from places like Raising Caine's, Chick-Fil-A, or myriad other restaurants, this place seemed to have a fairly straightforward way to order through their website.
What they DON'T tell you is that they don't give you options to remove ingredients from your meal. Hell, they don't even tell you what's IN the meal. Onions? Yep. Green onions? Yep. Carrots? Yep. Don't like any of those? Maybe one should learn to read minds or predict the future!
Adding things for ~2 dollars a pop? They've got that down 100%. Telling you that your fried rice that charges 2 dollars for onions already has onions in it? WAY TOO COMPLICATED, or polite, for these folks.
The food itself was barely passable. The kind of junk Chinese food that allows you to feel like you've eaten, but crushes a piece of your soul with each bite.
I got their Chinese chicken fried rice. Bland, and full of stuff I didn't expect to be in it given the options to ADD those very things to it.
Won't be returning.

Ordered beef lo mein and egg roll through Door Dash. Door Dash did their job. I could tell by the look of the lo mein it wasn’t going to be good. It was a light color instead of dark like normal. My best friend almost died after ordering from this place yesterday because the chicken lo mein (has no peanuts or peanut sauce in the dish on the menu) was cross contaminated with some sort of peanut dish, meaning they aren't washing their woks between dishes during preparation, which is not only dangerous but gross. There are no warnings anywhere on the menu about potential cross contamination of peanut, shellfish, etc dishes, so no one with an allergy is safe. She had to take two shots of epi to even make it to the hospital. Do not order from this place if you have any severe food allergies because they clearly do not take the proper precautions during food handling.

Sooo I'm not really sure why this place has such bad reviews its a nice little cozy place with an ample Buffet and fresh General types of cold and hot Chinese food. They even have fried calamari and fried scallops on the buffet with a vast selection of sushi on the back buffet bar made freshly by the sushi chef. I arrived to the buffet that's conveniently located right next door to where I work at about 4:20 p.m on a Friday afternoon and all of the pans were freshly stocked with food. I was greeted and seated within a minute by a polite older gentleman and enjoyed my meal while watching the flat screen TV. The only reason I did not give them a 5 is because I love the cold boiled shrimp that's usually on the buffet bar but there was none at this location. This place is always full of people. ..can't be that bad!

Overall the food was good, a few hot items were cold. Service is slower than it should be when there may have been 15 people in the while place. 2 stars is due to cleanliness. Table had sticky on the edge, they had checked off the 7pm cleaning chart that the restrooms had been cleaned when clearly they had not. I am from out of town so no chance of a return visit.

I like the food. Good service. I've been there for lunch and dinner many times. Normally I would give it 4 stars. Its good but its not China town. It says open until 9:30 pm but I'll never go back after 7:00 pm. My wife and I got there for a late dinner about 8:20 pm and they were out of some items (seaweed salad, tuna sushi, I took the last salmon sushi) and did not restock. About 8:30 they started taking the cold bar down (salads, spring rolls, bananas, etc. were gone by 9:00). By the cleaning and removal of food items my wife and I thought they closed at 9:00 so we rushed to get out by 9:00 only to see the sign on the door said they close at 9:30. I understand I can't expect the food to be fresh the last hour a buffet is open. I can even understand being out of some items. But I can't understand starting to remove items 1 hour before you close. I will be back but not after 7:00 pm.

I used to love this place, I would come here frequently and actually enjoy my food. Today I have never been more disappointed. The restaraunt smelled like moth balls and mold. The food looked old and disgusting as if it sat there for HOURS, the hot foods were actually cold, and the salad bar was too warm. The food was dry and was hard to swallow. There was a horrible odor by the ice cream machine as if something died behind it. If I could give no stars I would. If you want to get sick from their food, then this is the place for you. We stopped by for a late lunch/ early dinner and tried the Shrimp and General Tso’s chicken combo with two bowls of rice. The food was delicious. The chicken particularly was juicy and tender: the sauce sweet with a nice chili kick. The restaurant looked family run and there was a fun Chinese game show playing in the background. The service was excellent as well. They had our food out quickly. The atmosphere could be improved as it seemed that half of the restaurant was not in use. Nonetheless, the quality and authenticity of the food made the experience enjoyable.

Great hidden gem here in Spring. A long time favorite in the area. The place is more set up for takeout and delivery but there a few open tables for dine in service. Highly recommended for picking something up on the way home for work or on the way home after a day out. bBe sure to try the Mongolian beef and Singapore noodles.

This was our 1st visit. I needed something on the way home from work. The staff made sure I was aware of the location and confirmed before I ordered. When I arrived she was friendly and recognized how quickly I got there. She went over my order before I left to make sure everything was there. And let’s talk about YUMMY. Very difficult review. I've been going to the Golden bowl for 7 years. Food is great. The price is great. However the last two times we have went the woman who attends which I believe may be an owner, screams and yells at one of the younger staff. ( May be her son, or a family member).
The last time we went.. we had to leave due to her aggressive yelling and we could hear things slamming.

The only good thing I have to say is delivery was fast and the driver was courteous. The food is awful, except for the crab puffs. The fried rice tasted like dried out soy sauce, a lot of soy sauce. These people are horrible and rude. I live an hour away but go to Spring often to get food since we live in Cleveland tx. I bought some string beans chicken, when I got home there was no chicken and the string beans were burnt and inedible. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I ordered sweet and sour chicken they gave me shrimp. I called back to explain to the elderly Asian woman. She doesn't understand English clearly yet she think she does. They wouldn't comp my meal for next time.
Her only way options for resolving the issue was to bring back my food. Which I couldn't was on lunch break and I wasn't going to be back within the area. I sent her a picture of the food. Which was some plain dry a$$ rice and two pieces of chicken the rest was shrimp fried with my chicken. If I had a allergy they would have gotten me sick and someone else. We used to order from this restaurant all the time. They have amazing food. Just recently, they have started serving their fried rice with NO eggs and NO vegetables. When asking the owner, she yelled and demanded not to order from them again. She repeatedly said that they only fry their rice with sauce now. Probably the cost of synthetic eggs and vegetables has reflected on their service and food they provide. Very disappointed and will never order from this restaurant again. It'll be months before they get shut down.

This place serves good Chinese food menu at a budget friendly price. This is our first visit to this place and the waitress asked us to try the combination plates. This place is not it. The lady was very nice and the owner told me it had been slow recently but I just thought it was due to the old building. After trying 4 items, honestly the best tasting thing I had was the duck sauce. Everything else left an interesting taste in my mouth but it could just be my preference. Everything tasted and felt off as if it was not made fresh. I should've read reviews first, didn't know they had roaches either. I used to love this place when I was younger and my parents took me... it's not the same.

This is an establishment close to my heart, I've gone here since I was a toddler. My parents went here when they were kids and they followed the pattern with me and my brother. The ONLY thing I have ever had a problem with is the pan fried dumplings. Otherwise, the people here are very nice and polite and treat us like family. I call ahead because I saw it they were having a deal going on for sushi rolls, and so I ordered over the phone and they had my order ready within 15 minutes. Tried to order about $70 worth of food tonight. Order went through their web site. At no time was I asked for a payment type. I was concerned, so I attempted to call them. No answer after about 15 attempts and the voicemail was full. My wife stopped by and they appear to be closed for renovation or something. I come here often, a very loyal customer which saddens me because the customer service isn’t the best. I get the same thing every time and it’s a hassle to get the sweet and sour sauce for my spring rolls. I’m often given a rude look then handed a cup with barely anything in it. This place is close to my house and the food is good so I continue to come, but the spring roll quantity and size is also very inconsistent. Ordered food last night. I purchased curry shrimp (pictured right). The curry is nothing like it should be. It was watery and not the right color. The shrimp was spoiled and mushy. The crab puffs were hard. I ordered before and did not have an issue but this visit and the way they handled it, I will not be returning. I never ate the food I purchased. I threw it away and had to cook myself. The only things that were good was the white rice and spring rolls.

I think it's a nice restaurant and I would definitely return. Mostly because it’s cheap. They have a very extensive menu, including lunch options. There is lots of sushi, bento boxes, and Chinese options from which to choose from.
We got General Tsos Chicken and Orange Chicken with fried rice. The lunch portions were great and really cheap. Our lunch also came with a wonton soup, all costing about $15 for the two of us.
I only give it 4 stars because the fried rice was very simple. It was just rice and soy sauce. Other places will sometimes add peas, carrots, and egg. Which I have come to love when having fried rice. The wonton soup was also very simple, just broth and wontons.

This place serves some of the best Chinese food in the area. The Orange and Generals Chicken are prepared with excellent cuts of white meat, breaded, and served with just the right amount of sauce. I ordered pad Thai. Large portion with it was fresh made. This is not traditional pad Thai as it is very saucey. The veggies were soft so it seemed they just poured sauced over the noodles and called it a day. Expect mostly bell peppers - similar to pepper steak. Although I squeezed two lime wedges onto the dish, they did not make a dent into the bell pepper taste. The crab rangoon is mostly cream cheese and sugar. I hate judging an entire restaurant from one dish and would go back but order something else.

We have been ordering from this place for over 10 years and thought there were issues until a few weeks ago we found roach in our dumpling sauce. Called back and they tried to have me pick up another sauce, I said what refund. I reported to Harris County Health and they did inspection siting them for many issues including having many roaches. I was expecting it to be grilled, it was fried. the chicken was crispy and dry. eventually I paid $5 for two overcooked thin chicken tenders on a stick. and this is why it gets one star. it was way too expensive for what it was. with some really good Vietnamese restaurants a few miles away that have better food at a lower price, there is no excuse for this food to be this bad and expensive. how is it that the only food I liked was the only food that only required them to refrigerate and cut and plate.

I was craving some fried rice…and let’s just say I was disappointed. I tried the steamed gyoza first, they were quite dry and not fully steamed. I figured the rice would be much better but I was wrong. You could tell the poor quality meat it had (beef/pork- couldn’t really tell what it was, had a strange texture), the shrimp and the chicken, were coated and didn’t taste great either. The rice didn’t taste fresh even though it was served steaming hot and the only veggies were cilantro and onions. The only highlight was the polite and nice staff as well as their cleanliness in the front of the house.
I don’t think I’d be bold enough to go back and try more dishes, unfortunately it seems like they’re trying to get away with “bare minimum” dishes and not serve quality and taste.

After a long day of work decided to treat me and my mom to some Chinese food tonight. The order was for pickup. We got Sesame chicken, General Tso, Fried rice as our sides and an order of fried spring rolls. The most basic order and it was terrible. The chicken pieces are huge, the size of a golf ball and lack luster. It had no taste. It was not crispy and the outer layer was soft. No effort given. I’ve never gotten Chinese before like this where the chicken wasn’t even crispy. I bit into one piece and hit a tough piece of chicken (I’ll have to call it cartilage).Threw it away. Should have gotten a picture of it, gross.
The fried rice was bland and just seemed like they threw some white rice in oil and called it a day. And the spring roll was greasy and stale. Hard to bite into. Not crispy. We are both highly disappointed to spend $40 for such a terrible meal. It doesn’t even come with veggies on the side, for all the money you spend. We enjoyed NOTHING we ordered.
We typically don’t eat out so this was our treat. We were better off just buying a bag of HEB frozen Sesame chicken and General Tso. We would have been actually been satisfied. It’s not even worth a one star. We won’t be back.

I ordered the combination Pad Thai (didn't see it on the menu). I asked the young man behind the counter of it came with fried egg. He said he didn't know. The pad thai was basically just brown noodles, some meat, and my egg on top. The egg was probably the most appetizing looking part about it. I added that, remember. And it wasn't very good. I wouldn't order it again.

I’ve ordered here frequently for delivery but the quality is going down and the food and taste is too inconsistent. Today my food literally tasted like poison or chemicals. To start, the Sweet and Sour chicken was really great; it had that classic sweet and sour sauce. I also want to complement how they packaged the sauce separate that way the chicken didn’t get soggy. Thought that was a nice touch! In addition, we ordered the Chicken Lo Mein. This was also very yummy and the noodles were sauced well and not dry. We also purchased the Hot & Sour, Wonton, and Egg Drop Soup. All were delicious, my favorite being the Wonton. Very flavorful and a nice portion size for all of these items!! The pricing was also super reasonable.
We would absolutely return and look forward to making this our regular Chinese Spot!!

It was my first time here, so I ordered a lot. I ordered fried dumplings (which you have to order 8 of them, not just 1 or 2, so some food went to waste), Kung Pao Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup, and an egg roll.
The dumplings were pretty good. They were just slightly doughy and not really crispy. The dumpling sauce was great.
The hot and sour soup looked great, but there was no flavor. I had to add chili oil and soy sauce to impart some flavor.

Went with my family after a hard day of work to get a pick up order from a place I thought had great food and service for years since my I was a kid , owners are still great but my issue is really not the owners or the food but the people that they have hired . When I walked in to pick up my order I went to the restroom really quick and as I came out I seen a guy in the corner looking towards the restroom door “basically spying on me” . Now this guy is an employee here had an Astros hat with jeans which is actually their delivery driver . Not their head of security nor manager, found it very uncomfortable and weird because this could have been my daughters or anyone’s kids . Please watch out for their delivery driver when you go into their restroom.

It's a small place on the side of the feeder road and it's easy to pass without noticing it but it's definitely worth stopping in! I've had amazing food each time I've been here! This time I ordered the curry chicken and the pu pu platter. The steak on the stick was tender and tasty, the ribs were also tender and juicy with a nice sauce on them. All the fried stuff was perfectly crispy and flaky. The curry chicken was very good. It's a different kind of curry than what you would get from an Indian or Jamaican restaurant. It's more like a salty clear sauce with a little turmeric cooked into it. I really liked it. The server was nice and expressed gratitude for my visit. I went at lunchtime and was surprised that I was the only customer until one man came in and told me he eats there every day and sometimes the place is completely packed with people! So if you are passing by and the place looks empty, that might be your best chance for a quick visit!

When I first moved to this neighborhood, this Panda Express had great food and service. For a few months now, the food has been mediocre at best. Maybe new management or something. I didn’t realize just how bad they had gotten until I visited the IAH location. It was 100% better.

I think this place is under new management because it's much different from a year ago. The staff welcomes everyone through the door. They are sure to treat anyone and everyone with the upmost respect. They are the definition of hospitality as they are considerate and think one step ahead of the customer. We came in about an hour before closing and asked to order two full family meals, something most Panda Express locations typically won’t accommodate that late. But this store was different, and the experience was truly outstanding!
Dane, the general manager, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He told us, “We’re here to serve you,” and meant it. Not only did they happily make everything fresh for us, but Dane even made a new batch of lemonade just because it had run out. That kind of care is rare!
Alberto and David prepared and packed our food with smiles and great energy. The store was clean, and the whole staff was so friendly.

They did this with many cars trying to effectively string out to closing time. I don't have all night for this. Clean restaurant, very friendly service. Vegetarian options. It was after 3pm when I arrived so, not crowded and pretty quiet. Enjoyed vegetable spring rolls and tofu general tso. Food was fresh and delicious. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because the sign at front said "wait to be seated" we waited for awhile before being greeted then was told to "just sit anywhere"... It was almost a bad first impression, but the food and service made up for it going forward.

The food was done quickly but truly not worth it. The crab puffs were dry, tasteless and basically hollow. The general tso’s chicken was almost flavorless with very little sauce and the fried rice was mediocre at best. I’m sorry (not sorry) but the food was 1000 times better before the name change from Main Moon to this new company!!

I did not accept the crab. I got my dinner to go. I ordered cashew chicken and it was very spicy and had peanuts in it? If you want rubbery chicken with soggy breading sitting in watery liquid come here. General Tso’s chicken was all water and broccoli. Beef in the beef and broccoli was tough as a hockey puck. I ordered shrimp pad thai... what you see here is definitely lacking some ingredients. It was full of shrimp. I ate it because the sauce was yummy and the amount of shrimp was good at this price point.
Also, we did order the triple delight, Mongolian style and that was really good. It was spicy but that really good, takes awhile to hit you, spicy. The sauce on this and the sauce on the pad thai is what will have me ordering again because they definitely have some good sauces on their food.

I've been driving by this place for a while without giving it much thought, but today we craving Chinese food and decided to finally give it a try. OMG!!! This is the best food we've had in a while. Everything is so flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The portions are very sizable, and the spring rolls? Really?! Best I've ever had; crispy, not oily at all, and packed with veggies. The lady who processed our order was very kind and helpful. I really recommend this place!!! We're definitely coming back and on a quest to try everything on the menu.

New options that no other Chinese restaurant offers in this area. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I read reviews, confident I was going to find a really good Chinese restaurant. I ordered the Szechuan Shrimp. I asked what came in it, I was told onion, green onion, bell pepper, carrots.. I asked for no carrots. It has baby corn ( I’m allergic) broccoli and snap peas. I don’t like broccoli nor snap peas. I was not informed that the shrimp would be breaded - smh I’ve never had breaded shrimp at any Asian restaurant… it has always been sautéed. Im So disappointed! I work in the MedCenter and I have not had anything to eat all day. The total was $17and change- I gave a $3.00 tip. Their customer service was excellent!! But this is not what I thought I was getting so I basically gave away $20 for something I can’t and do not want to eat.
I am willing to give it another chance.

Well I just tried this place and it was delicious. We got sweet and sour chicken a side of fried rice as well as low mein with veggies and Kung pao chicken and two eggs rolls. We have tried multiple Chinese restaurants and honestly for me this is by far the best. The fried rice had lots of flavor the eggs were nice and crispy. The sweet and sour chicken was made perfect and the Kung pao chicken was on point. Even taking this to go the food was still pretty hot. Come check them out.

This restaurant brings back memories of my childhood growing up in the 626 area of Los Angeles. Better than other Chinese food lunch specials because they offer specialty dishes, such as cumin beef, as well. The cumin beef was very savory with a nice kick of spice from the cumin. We order from here on DoorDash quite a bit and absolutely love it so when we finally went to the restaurant today we were not disappointed. We all ordered something different than we normally do and everything was on point. The place is very clean, spacious and welcoming. Service is a 10/10 and received our food pretty quickly! Among all food / delivery services I've utilized over the course of 5 years this is hands down the best experience I've had! I found this restaurant based on reviews in the Uber app and because the delivery services have continued to escalate in prices I began to compare the fees of delivery services with the establishment itself. Many times I find that going directly to the establishments website then selecting delivery is more cost effective. For this search I used "Beyond Menu" that is dedicated to helping locally owned small businesses connect directly with customers. The order was easy to place with the restaurant, the prices are the same as in-house, the restaurant delivery was lightening fast (under 20 min.), the man that delivered was a delight and the charge was a whooping $2. The food was packed very well (they even vented the styrofoam so the food stayed crispy; soggy is my takeout pet peve so that was a big deal to me) everything was included, they left nothing out, the portions were quite large, everything was more than warm and tasted amazing! The experience was unmatched and gave me excitement for writing this review. I not only recommend this restaurant using its direct service, I implore anyone to try it! I am that certain no one would regret this lunch or dinner choice by the same means I did.

My order was so bad i had to leave me review instantly. Ordered their garlic honey chicken and fried shrimp appetizers... The chicken was old and reheated and barely hot at all slathered in a thick goo of sweet sauce that's clumped up all in the dish. It's obvious from the first bite and I've even chicken my whole life the fried shrimp didn't seem freshly battered and they didn't seem like tempura style at all; jus ordinary bulk frozen breaded shrimp fried in late day oil . I should always heed my own advice. If you show up to a food place in a high traffic area and theres no business the chances are more likely the food and service is bad than it is people haven't heard of you. You are the only Chinese restaurant within a square mile or two or three maybe.. There's no reason you shouldn't be drawing customers in simply because you have great fresh Chinese food especially with five guys over priced burgers and a sandwich shop next door... I wasted 20$ on another worthless dinner in spring from a local place. That's why Panda Express is at the top over here for go to fresh Chinese food. You know to do better; you just didn't and it shows.

This is one of THE BEST Chinese restaurants I've been to since coming back from China, that actually tastes authentic. Its nice to have a place close by so I dont have to go Downtown. I had the Braised Beef Shank and just the smell had me reminiscing of China. I finished every last bit of it. This will definitely be my new go to place! The wait staff was soo friendly and attentive, and I absolutely loved the decor.

So good! Prices are reasonable and we got a lot of food. Everything was delicious, and I’ve only liked egg rolls from one place before every time I’ve had egg rolls anywhere else they never live up to my expectations, but omg these were so good. We love Hot Wok. It's our go to place for delicious Chinese food. The staff is always super nice. My absolute favorite dishes are the kung pao chicken and the Singapore noodles. My family really likes the fried rice and lo mien. The dumplings are also a hit. I find the flavors are really good. It's not too salty. Nothing is sweet or sticky. It's just good, flavorful food with real vegetables in it. I normally eat my meals with white rice so I can't speak to the fried rice but my family finishes it quickly!!

I'd love to share pictures, but I've already eaten everything. The food is spectacular and the staff are extremely sweet. I hate to see mom and pops like this sitting empty because the big chains move in up the road. Definitely worth stopping in! The Mongolian beef is spectacular, the egg drop soup is great and the egg rolls are delicious. The sweet and sour shrimp is excellent, the shrimp lomein is delicious and the orange chicken is to die for. We'll be coming back regularly until we've tried the entire menu. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't give this place a try!

Update… I wanted to give this place another chance after two-ish years and sad to say it may have actually gotten worse to the point that the egg drop soup was pretty much inedible (waaay too salty) and as “good” as the honey walnut shrimp was, it was not enough to warrant a return another return visit…note pics attached are from prior visit/old review that accidentally got written over 🙈

Quick service and great quality. I would definitely go here again. I got the Honey Walnut Shrimp and it was some of the best I've ever had. Very fresh, not too sweet, and the shrimps were pretty big.

Received my order with MULTIPLE bugs in it. The first isn't pictured bc I did a squish test to see if it was a burnt sesame seed or a bug and it was the latter. Also Door Dash only wants to do a partial refund when the entire meal went in the garbage after that. If it was made in the same kitchen, it's all contaminated in my eyes.

Its edible.....mostly. Ordered online and the food I got was edible(and missing the soup from a lunch order) if very small portion wise with little meat but the reason for this review is their fried pork dumpling. They are, for lack of a better word, garbage. Over fried, no filling and tasteless crispy wedges if you order from this place don't waste your money on this garbage.

This restaurant used to be under different ownership that did a lousy job of everything. So if you haven't been here for awhile, please give it a try. It has completely been redone and significantly cleaned up. The food was fresh and stayed nice and hot all the way home. While we waited for our take-out, the new owner told me how much work they did to clean and upgrade the entire restaurant, even getting on her hands and knees to scrub the floor. She was very particular about serving only fresh food and it was evident in the dishes we ordered. She said their start was a little slow, and I believe that's because people don't know that Big City Kitchen is underneath new ownership. So, check it out - I'm sure you'll like it.

This was my first visit to Big City Kitchen, and I was impressed! The General Tso was absolutely delicious, and the fried rice tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The prices were surprisingly budget-friendly for the generous portions, and the atmosphere was super cute and clean. I went here twice this week. Beef with Chili oil is pretty authentic. I order Garlic eggplant and another Sichuan traditional cold dish. All of them are good. Sour and spicy soup is not spicy enough. If more pepper, it will taste better! I will revisit in my next business trip in Woodland.
