And, I'm not gonna lie, I did have my reservations being that this restaurant is located on the second floor of an older Ramada Hotel and in a small town like Ely but honestly, I think I had one of the BEST steaks anywhere, bar none. Both of us got the brussel sprouts for a side and they were cooked to a delicious flaky char and with some kind of balsamic reduction and it was simply amazing. She got scalloped potatoes for a second side and I got the alfredo mac and they were just as good. As far as the dining area goes, it was nice, comfortable and welcoming and very much a place where you could consider it to be black tie affair but everyone there including us were in blue jeans and work shirts or casually dressed and nobody felt out of place. Service was top notch, fast and attentive and if you decide to give this a try, like you really should, be sure to read the front page of the menu as it'll tell you all about how this place got started and why the beef here is really so good. Drinks were good. Salads were delicious were our favorite part. The food was okay but seemed to be lacking. The grilled cheese was surprisingly hard and the tallow fries seemed overly saturated.
