The second time we went was for brunch. Three breakfast dishes were ordered at the same time, ahead of a larger group present at a nearby table. The pancakes arrived promptly and the egg dishes were delayed by a good 15-20 mins after the pancakes arrived. It was like they had been forgotten under a heat lamp- by the time they arrived the eggs were completely over cooked on both dishes. Delay would have been acceptable if the kitchen was busy but delayed and overcooked eggs was a big disappointment. No one checked in on us afterwards until the end of the meal- at which point we shared the feedback. Hope it was a one off but definitely an inferior experience at brunch.

During winter month only red and winter tees are in operation which means mats on some of the holes but the mats were in good conditions so it didn't effect the game. I had a latte and bacon sandwich before the round and asked the bacon to be crispy. What a lovely breakfast it was especially after the awful experience we had at The Oaks the day before. We were a two ball and although nothing mentioned when signing in at the ProShop on the tee we realized we were paired up. We didn't mind as we like meeting and playing with other people, however, in this case the pair was a father and son and the father was taking video of the son's hit each time and in some case the boy was hitting multiple balls. They were happy to let us and other people go through but it is still a bit of inconvenience and should not be allowed during the weekend. After all, last week was half term surely weekday would have been a more appropriate time for this. Anyways, though the first two holes were ruined because of this experience from the 3rd hole to the end we had a lovely experience.
