Fantastic hotel. It's very kitschy looking but smartly designed. The property itself is stunning with amazing pools and great views. Breakfast was really fantastic and had countless options. Dinners were decent. The only negative is the town of Gordes itself, which is overwhelmed with tourists and much less scenic than the towns to its east.

Notre avis portera exclusivement sur l’expérience éphémère dans l’établissement : celle du beefbar consommé ce 7 août soir pour l’anniversaire de notre fils de huit ans.
Cet établissement et le service proposé sont remarquables en tous points : direction ouverte et flexible / c’était fully booked en ligne, nous avons écrit (en l’occurrence ma femme pour expliquer l’envie de notre fils pour son anniv. d’un cadre aussi enchanteur …avec des frites) …et celle-ci a donné une suite favorable à notre requête.
Alors que ce type d’établissement peut souvent avoir une clientèle exigeante pas « kids friendly » ; nous qui arrivons le jour J avec 8 et 2 ans « dans nos bagages ».
Le site est …wonderful. Merci à l équipe qui a déplacé ensuite notre table afin que nous ayons une meilleure vue.
Le service est parfait, à la fois hyper pro (le geste juste, les tenues des équipiers, les conseils pour choisir) et convivial voire chaleureux. Jusqu’à l’attention de la bougie sur le dessert glacé de notre fils (ce soir-là était celui des anniversaires fêtés dans la clientèle : états civils, rencontres, mariage au programme de ce jeudi soir).
Enfin les mets sont parfaits. Nous conseillons notamment les quesadillas très fins ou le dessert glacé final à accommoder à l’envi avec chocolat ou caramel coulants, cerises, fraises ou pistaches.
Bref les Airelles et le beefbar n’ont pas besoin de notre contribution pour bien fonctionner. Mais nous voulons souligner ce sens de l’excellence et du service INCARNÉS. Aussi bien pour un riche client russe ou ukrainien croisé ce soir-là, que pour une famille telle que la nôtre.

We had a most magnificent stay at the Airelles Gordes location this fall. There are an extraordinary amount of staff at the resort that are quite attentive. Many of them speak English and we had no concerns with communication. The concierge was very helpful.
The small amount of rooms at the resort allows for feeling as though you have lots of space in common spaces and rarely feels crowded except during meal times. The breakfast buffet is most excellent. We dined at 3 of their 4 on site restaurants and had great experiences at all of them with Clover being our favorite.
Our room was beautiful, themed to the local area with taste. Dyson hairdryer and Nespresso are always appreciated amenities as well as minibar items being included! The gifts provided on arrival and turndown were lovely. Excellent housekeeping service was always provided as well.
We loved our stay here and hope to visit again in the future.

I really wanted to love this property as I have stayed at Le Grand Controle a few times and it is my favourite hotel. This stay, however, left much to be desired. The staff did not feel friendly or engaging, and I am sorry to say that they failed at making us feel special.
It was my birthday, and we had three rooms in the hotel. There was no special welcome, no bottle of wine or champagne on arrival for the special occasion. Which is fine, just not what you expect from an Airelles location. On the actual day, we had scheduled some of their picnic baskets — I had to confirm my selection three times via email — and we still received the wrong baskets with ingredients that some of my party are allergic to (!) which we only found out when we arrived at the picnic spot, of course. When I returned and pointed out their error, they did not seem that bothered, there was no follow up. Even worse, they still wanted to charge me for the baskets at check out and offered little in the way of apologies.
Furthermore, there was a miscommunication (and again huge lack of follow up) about a birthday cake and my birthday dessert was some sort of sad peach concoction. Again, no sort of apologies whatsoever.
At check-out I brought up these issues and no senior member of staff seemed remotely concerned with the situation, since no one showed up to address it.
The property in itself is amazing but the staff just did not feel like it lived up to it. It felt like an average resort. We would not return.

The best hotel in our two-week South France trip. I love the impeccable taste in the hotel design and decor, the above and beyond 7-star services, the view from La Table restaurant during sunset is just dreamy. The Guerlain SPA is so relaxing and I adore the rustic chic vibe. We definitely will be back and we love Airelles brand ever more because of La Bastide. Well done!

This is the most thoughtful and attentive hotel we’ve ever stayed at. They even came into our room to deliver little gifts. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, and when we were leaving, they gave us some snacks to enjoy on the road. Truly heartwarming and considerate.

Quel moment incroyable nous avons passé au Relais et Châteaux Le Phébus à Joucas ! Vraiment, ce n'est pas juste un hôtel, c'est une véritable expérience.
Dès qu'on arrive, on se prend une claque visuelle : la magie des lieux opère instantanément.
Ce vieux mas en pierres, la vue sur le Luberon, les parfums subtils de la garrigue... c'est la Provence authentique, celle qui vous apaise. On se sent tout de suite privilégié.
Mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, c'est l'humain. Le professionnalisme du personnel est exceptionnel, mais surtout, ils sont d'une gentillesse !
Pas une seule fausse note. On se sent accueilli comme des amis de la famille, avec une attention sincère et toujours souriante. Un grand bravo à toute l'équipe pour cette chaleur humaine.
Et que dire de la table du Chef Xavier Mathieu... C'est simple, c'est une des plus belles découvertes gastronomiques de ma vie.
Sa cuisine est bien plus qu'une succession de plats : c'est de l'art, de la poésie, et surtout, beaucoup d'émotion. Chaque assiette raconte une histoire, celle du terroir, et on sent tout l'amour qu'il met dedans.
On a tout simplement adoré, un moment qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires !

Nous nous sommes offert mon compagnon et moi-même un weekend romantique pendant nos vacances dans le Vaucluse. Nous avons profiter du cadre magnifique du tea Time en terrasse de la piscine intérieur du spa et sauna et d’un massage. Le personnel était top a l’écoute et souriant. Pour le dîner nous nous sommes fait plaisir et avons choisi le restaurant gastronomique. Que dire à part excellent ? Le lendemain matin nous avons profité d’un petit déjeuner en forme de buffet qui était très très bien avec un large choix.

Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. The tour around the hotel turned out to be like the tours by the protagonist in Life in Pi - breakfast free for kids. It’s not free, we knew it wasn’t free. But dinner was free for the kid - which explained why they didn’t bring everything we ordered for the kid.
The spa area opening times for kids were explained, but not what age of kid. Sadly also let down as we booked through Amex and the miss key points.
Overall, a great hotel, great service, lovely peaceful surroundings. I would say better for couples, and they should probably strengthen their marketing to say it’s adult-focused so families aren’t turning up.

Elevator not working(we had a baby with stroller), requested something in the room that didn’t arrive in over an hour. 35€ per person for breakfast felt a bit too much and if you need breakfast on the terrace of your room for a tranquil start to the morning, that was 50€ per person. We skipped breakfast at the property, instead drove to the nearby village and got freshly baked goods instead and enjoyed it on our terrace. Ordered room service dinner, was quite nice. Didn’t dine at the property restaurant as we were out during the day exploring Provence.

The hotel is located just outside of Gordes, within a 20-minute walk, on a beautiful site. The breakfast is decent, with a good tea selection, but that's about it. The hotel lacks authenticity and charm (e.g., 20-cent plastic bottles of Christaline do not help with that). When you enter the reception area, it smells like mold. Our room, located in the 'Petit Jas,' smelled like sewage. On the way to our room, we had to walk past a large AC unit (see picture). There were traces of mold in the bathroom (see picture). But the worst part of all: my wife was bitten overnight by what appears to be bed bugs (i.e., very itchy bites that are in a straight line). Avoid this hotel.

We had a terrific time with Hotel Le Jas de Gordes as our home base re our recent trip to Provence. People were great, room clean and patio nice, pool just right, food limited but very good re breakfast and snacks end of day, and location perfect. Highly recommend this 4-star hotel.

L’emplacement est idéal en pleine campagne à deux pas du centre de Gordes.
Le samedi soir, nous sommes allés dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel, avec le menu à 49€:

Staying at Villa Hautvallon was an absolute dream. The property is incredibly gorgeous, inside and out. Pierre and his staff made us feel so pampered, relaxed, and at home. As well as enjoying the delicious breakfast in the pool house each morning, we had lunch and a couple of dinners on-site. I highly recommend this if you have the opportunity. Pierre is an excellent cook and his meals featured all local meats, bread, and produce. The villa is quiet and perfect for a luxurious romantic retreat, but we also loved socializing with Pierre and other guests whom we met and dined with. A true gem of a Villa in a beautiful and relaxing setting set just a short walk to the main square of Gordes. Everything from the beautifully appointed rooms, the grounds, pool, Villa and dining room, where we enjoyed a bountiful and delicious breakfast every morning, was specular. Pierre, Caroline and staff provided a very high level of service throughout our stay. My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed 5 nights celebrating our 40th anniversaries and 70th birthdays and we didn't want to leave.
The Luberon region of France is beautiful with many wonderful villages to explore, wineries to visit and wide variety of dining options to choose from. We cannot wait to return.

I’ve stayed at Villa Hautvallon twice over the past two years. The two-bedroom villa is stunning and my favorite accommodation. It features one master bedroom and a twin bedroom, along with a charming, rustic private garden area that’s just perfect.
Pierre, the owner, is incredibly lovely and caring. He invited us for a little wine and conversation, which was a thoughtful and personal touch. The meals he prepared were excellent, especially the beautifully presented breakfast.
The heated pool is also very beautiful and well maintained. Staying here feels so intimate - you truly never want to leave. We’d return again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed an exceptionally relaxing 4 night stay at Villa Hautvallon this August. The villa feels like a quietly luxurious home from home. The welcome and hospitality was genuine but discreet - Pierre and his team shepherded the perfect stay for 2 stressed out Londoners looking for a corner of Provence which didn’t feel cliché or too touristy.
The hotel benefits from only 5 rooms, meaning it often feels like you have the entire place to yourself. I would highly recommend the two bedroom suite where we stayed which was a beautifully curated interior for living, relaxing and sleeping. The breakfast is delicious and served in a stunning summer room by the pool. Lunch is very informal but delicious and seasonal served in quiet romantic corners of the garden.
Gordes is just a short walk away from the Villa and we ate at The Bastide de Pierres which we’d recommend for an authentic Tuscan break from traditional Provencal food and Le Trinquette which was fine but forgettable (personally I wouldn’t recommend). Pierre is full of great recommendations for tasty places to try in the area if you’re ever stuck however.

Séjour extrêmement décevant – niveau très loin d’un hôtel 4 étoiles
Nous tenons à exprimer notre profonde déception concernant notre séjour dans votre établissement.
Le mobile home qui nous a été attribué était très loin du niveau de confort et de qualité que l’on peut attendre d’un hôtel 4 étoiles.
Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté plusieurs problèmes :
La porte du congélateur était cassée, entraînant une accumulation importante de givre et la présence de nourriture oubliée à l’intérieur.
La climatisation fuyait, détrempant le canapé, le rendant inutilisable.
L’ouvre-boîte était dans un état de rouille avancé, au point de déposer des particules dans la nourriture.
Une clôture électrique extérieure produisait un bruit intermittent de claquement continu particulièrement gênant.
Le jardinier a utilisé un souffleur extrêmement bruyant durant plusieurs heures le matin, juste à proximité du mobile home, pour remettre du gravier, ce qui nous a réveillés.
Enfin, l’eau du robinet dégageait une forte odeur d’égout, et après l’avoir consommée, nous avons souffert de maux de ventre et de vomissements.
Face à cette accumulation de désagréments, nous avons décidé d’écourter notre séjour.
Lorsque nous l’avons signalé à la réception, la réceptionniste s’est contentée de nous dire que c’était « la faute des femmes de ménage », que l’hôtel était complet, et qu’elle était « de toute façon payée misérablement ». Elle n’a présenté aucune excuse ni proposé de solution.
Malgré tout cela, nous avons été facturés plein tarif, sans aucun geste commercial, alors que nous avons écourté notre séjour de moitié.
Ce séjour a été une grande déception et ne correspond en rien à ce qui est attendu d’un établissement se présentant comme un 4 étoiles.

The staff is very welcoming and the views from the hotel balcony are just wooow 😍 They have free parking under video surveillance if you are arriving with a car ,a charger if you have electric car and the village of Gordes is on a 7-8min walkable distance. Breakfast is served with a view, very fresh and delicious. Rooms are nice with comfortable pillows and duvet, the only thing that is missing is a pair of slippers, which can come in hand if you are visiting in autumn/winter 😍 we had great rest since everything is peaceful and quiet and the views were just stunning!!! If you plan a visit to Provence, this is the most romantic hotel around!

Nice hotel worth staying at during your stay in Gordes. The big plus is the location: view to Gordes, walking distance to the village and its main restaurants and attractions. Like 4 min !!
You can even have access to a few trekking paths from the hotel.
Staff is really nice and helpful. One of the guys, Christophe, is super super nice and welcoming.
We saw him once and missed him during our 2 last days :-)
Breakfast is not crazy but sufficient and effective.
Pool : large and with sun beds to relax .
Car park : perfect of you have a car.
Our room : nice view onto the village. Bedding is comfortable . Bathroom Amenities good . The minus is the size of the room with very little space to put your stuff. The small wardrobe is hardly enough for one person. You don’t even know where to put your luggage.
Except for that we had a really time at the hotel which is very very well located ;-)

This is one of the most romantic hotels I have been to. We loved it! The staff was truly amazing. Could not do enough for you and so friendly. From graciously serving you breakfast to making dinner reservations, the staff was the best. The common areas of the hotel were spectacularly beautiful; decor and views. We were there in mid-October and weather was rain/sun mix and cool so the outdoor patio was not in use, but the views of Gordes from there, especially at sunset, were tremendous. Inside, the lounge area was elegant yet comfortable and great for breakfast & a lovely bottle of wine in the late afternoon, once again with amazing views. Although our room were small, it was comfortable and had alot of little amenities that made it more so. The electric kettle with teas & coffee as well as the mini frig, were greatly appreciated. Our little terrace was lovely. A shortcut & quick walk to town made it easy to experience Gordes. The market day was great! Our hiking in the area also beautiful. I would highly recommend Mas de Romarins.

Wonderful place to stay with amazing view of Gordes. The breakfast was thoughtfully served in the glasses in patio that looked out on a yard of tables, chairs, and sparkling lights. This is also a delightful place to have drinks at the end of the day.

Réceptionniste désabusée et bien trop exigeante concernant l’empreinte de carte bleue, réservation faite par Booking avec une carte !
Impossible de réserver le restaurant, au menu unique, sans là aussi la fameuse carte bleue, avec le paiement du restaurant à l’avance.
L'accueil que nous avons reçu était tout simplement antipathique,impatient de voir la réponse de la direction que je n’ai pas pu rencontrer.
Bref des difficultés à l’arrivée qui a plombé le séjour. Bien qu’un 3 étoiles ne pas hésiter à tondre l’ensemble du gazon autour de la piscine, proposer une chambre un peu moins basique éviter les plafond type bureautique un frigo du café serai un plus. Je ne suis pas hôtelier mais quand même.
Le point positif reste la literie mais je ne recommande absolument pas.

Absolutely gorgeous B&B with huge pool and fantastic views of the surrounding nature. Great and friendly service. Walking distance to Gordes. We spent 3 nights at le Domaine de l'Enclos last July and had the best time. The domaine is beautiful, the common rooms are fantastic (such beautiful deco), we played pool, swam in the gigantic pool, enjoyed the garden and met lovely people. The place is luxurious and quiet but also kid friendly. Yannick is the best hostess. Very friendly and helpful, yet always discrete. We walked each evening to Gordes for dinner. Would definitely visit again!

We had a lovely stay here on our trip to Gordes. The house is very private with only a handful of guest rooms making it perfect for relaxation. Guests have the entire house and pool to enjoy and at times it felt as if my party was the only one there. Very safe area and close to downtown Gordes. There are snacks and wine/beer available for purchase to enjoy at any hour. Breakfast is also enjoyable as fresh eggs are an option in addition to the traditional breakfast for baked good/cheeses/breads.

The apero and the dinner were perfetc, the chef prepared some very interesting plates mixing different flavours, certainly nothing I would be able to prepare at home myself. We had the impression that it was worth it. I won't give five stars just because I found the breakfast a bit poor: I was expecting at least a good -not soluble - coffee. In any case, I would highly recommend a night there!

A beautiful home run by a wonderful host, Frederic. The location is superb as it is just the right distance away from the tourist sites such as Gorde but close enough to make getting to them easy. There is a wonderful small restaurant in the neighboring town run by a boyfriend/girlfriend team that is well worth a visit as it easily was as good as the one star meal we had in Paris. Ask Frederic to make a reservation for you. There is small coop that presses olives into oil just the around the corner if you want to pick up oil with a unique flavor.
