청소청결 부족, 바퀴벌레 계속나옴. 처음에 좋았는데 점점 별로네요. 청소를 했다고는 생각이 안되네요. 저거 뿐만 아니라 곳곳이 안좋아요. 가족과 함께라면 편의점도 10분 거리에 있고, 걸어서 가기엔 유흥가도 많아요.

If you are cruising to the port, this is an okay place but do not stay more than one day. Parking is fine, but a bit confusing. It's $40 a day. Not covered, it's just a secured parking lot. The hotel itself needs updating. The elevators are creaky, rickety and you don't need a keycard to use them which is not secure. The stairwells also can be accessed by literally anyone walking around the property. There was at least a peephole cover on the door. The room layout is odd because everything was at an angle. So there was no where to eat our food but the floor or bed. The blinds worked great, view was lovely. Beds were just okay. One of them creaked like it had baking sheets for bed springs every time you sat on it or moved. The bathroom door is a weird sliding barn door, so there is zero privacy. There are no towel hooks anywhere, so hanging your towels to try is impossible. There are no notepads in the room or pens, so good luck when you try to leave housekeeping a tip. The room service dishes were all out in the halls for 24 hours. The breakfast buffet was the same food that is offered for free at most other places, but here they charge you $30 per person. Thankfully one of the few things they did have was a shuttle to the port, and it was on time. But otherwise, There is no coffee machine in the lobby, no pump pots anywhere. The driver ran red lights, but it was probably safer than walking back at night. As soon as I got into the musty smelling room (304) my TV was not working. Someone came within 10 minutes and fixed it. I would hope housekeeping would notice this and have it fixed before a guest arrives. Also note if you call the front desk, you'll get a computer. The hotel itself is a historic building in downtown Long Beach and the architecture and design of this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. They have several options for dining or drinks. I didn't get a chance to check out their jazz club Alter Ego but I will definitely come back just for that experience. The rooftop bar HALO is such a vibe with great views of the city. The rooms were great, spacious with great views, and don't get me started on the shower. Overall given the location, customer service, pricing, and luxurious feel of this hotel I would definitely stay again. Recommended for couples, friends, solo travelers.
