두마게티 최고의 맛집으로 손꼽히는 곳. 날씨가 덥지 않을 때는 실외에서 멋진 뷰를 감상하며 식사를 즐길 수 있다. 음식 맛도 좋치만, 케익과 빵도 두마게티에서 가장 맛있는 곳으로 손꼽힌다. 단, 점심/저녁시간의 경우 손님이 많아 기다릴 수 있음으로 조금 일찍 또는 늦게 가는 것이 좋다.

가성비가 좋은 음식점. 음식의 양은 적으니 4명이서 8개 시킴. 저렴하니 양은 적은데... 나름 그 가격 보다는 맛있다. 샐러드 어니언스프 라자냐는 맛있고, 봉골레는 면이 너무 익었으며, 고기는 질기고, 생선은 비리다. 분위는 좋아 아주 굿!!! 그러나 서빙이 느리고, 직원이 본체만체 너무 느긋함

Gabby's restaurant is located in what I consider to be the middle of Rival Boulevard.  Nice location, albeit upstairs in a building with no obvious wheelchair access (not an issue with me though). It was nice to see a well decorated dining area. It's themed like Pinocchio / Traditional Swiss Alpine setting. Often restaurants don't pay much attention to the dining.   Wobby tables meant that we moved to another table.  We did ask the wait staff for help to fix the tables, but that was ignored/forgotten and so moved anyway. Our visit was for dinner on a public holiday, the restaurant was half full, so wasn't expecting such slow service.  The waiting staff were attentive - given that each table had a bell, but they were probably slowed by the kitchen.  The kitchen was probably not helped by it being the size of the bar area and was probably understaffed. The menu for Gabby's is quite large and varied, but I think it's going to be a hit and miss as to whether your chosen dish is going to be up to your standard.  Cajun had too much throat choking Cayenne rather than smoked paprika.... It did NOT remind me of the Southern USA at all.  The other dishes were not great either, I was NOT impressed by the 'not so crispy' Frito Calamari or the super late, too many dried shitake, Katsudon.  The latter took nearly an hour and came out just as everyone else on the table had finished their meal. The rest of the dishes were so-so. The kitchen was small, and slow, but the waiting staff also had their own faults, having twice delivered the wrong dishes to our table, including after the table move.  If there is a next time, I won't even tell them, and start sampling the dish - the delay was so long - I could have forgotten what I ordered anyway. Positives about the restaurants are that it does have free wi-fi and credit card payments are accepted, and the ice cream cart seems to have a whole variety of different flavours. Our meal for 3.5 people cost P1655, which isn't great value. I would like to give more stars because I would like to return and try other dishes in the restaurant, but it seems that this place has a better cover than the book, and I would rather try other restaurants first before returning to this one.

필리핀 도시마다 있는 프렌차이즈식 식당. 바콜로드에 있는것과 너무 똑같아서 가보니 프렌차이즈였어요. 맛은 똑같고 가격대비 양이 너무 적어요 ㅠ 떡볶이도 양이 정말 조금임.....현지 가격치고는 물론 비싼편이예요^^; 가끔가는것은 나쁘지않아요.

두마게티는 처음 왔고 필리핀은 4번째 인데 필리핀에서 아니 한국에서 먹은 고깃집 중에서도 탑에 드는 곳입니다. 셰프 코리안 이냐고 물어봤잖아욬ㅋ 밑반찬도 다 맛있구 계란찜, 김치찌개, 삼겹팽이버섯말이가 특히 대박입니다!! 두마게티에서 한식 땡기면 무조건 가세요!!!!

Although we were expecting disappointment, because we were drawn in by the outside poster menu offering Kare kare and it was off the menu. Also, our visit was during a 12 hour brown out on a Sunday in Dumaguete and Robinson's Place was one of the few fully operational places, so the place was nearly full. Nevertheless, pleasantly surprised... Helped by good food and decent service.  Not all staff were attentive, and food and drinks were both slow to appear, but not the worst experience I've had, and one serving staff member did a lot to help. Escabecheng Isda and Chicken Bicol Express were notably tasty. P1328 paid by card for a meal for 3.5 of us was also quite reasonable. One star down for not having a full menu and watching staff mill around doing nothing.... I had to make Kare kare myself the next day to satisfy the family.... But then again my Kare kare is exceptionally good. Worth visiting again this lesser known franchise restaurant in the future.
