We were looking for somewhere still serving food after 8pm as we had arrived into Nelson late. Little India was the only place available. The menu was impressive! They cook everything from scratch with the freshest of natural ingredients. No msg or nasties! The restaurant was full of happy diners when we arrived, all chatting and laughing together. Obviously a popular place to dine. The restaurant is split level with different areas to sit, making dining feel more intimate. We had the lamb korma, the butter chicken, the yoghurt raita, mango chutney, two delicious rice dishes, and the most scrumptious garlic naan bread (we ordered a second helping it was that good!). Honestly this meal was a taste sensation and by far the best Indian food I’ve eaten outside of India! We were so hungry that we unfortunately hooked into our meals before I remembered to take any photos.
