Stopped here on a whim for a late lunch and was not disappointed! Beautiful coffee and delicious food. Service was friendly and quick too which is always a plus. The outdoor area looked lovely, but was a bit cold out so I sat inside which was comfortable.

The place is easy to find. Lots of parking. Decent menu size with different options. The staff are very friendly and quick.
The food was really good but I was super dissatisfied with my overcooked eggs. I got eggs Benny and ended up with hard-boiled eggs.
The coffee was hit and miss, two were good and the other one was bitter.
Really lovely atmosphere and decor. Inside and outside seating. Heaters on outside and birds flying around.
Would recommend.

I had lunch here with four others. I have been coming to this venue for years, typically for atmospheric reasons. The service was really great; friendly, fast and on point when you need someone. One problem - the Cuban Toastie. The sandwich in my photos is the $22 disappointment of my day. More can be done here on both value and taste.
My companions enjoyed their respective meals, one saying it was the best tomato soup they’ve ever had ($17.70). I sampled the pumpkin salad. I’m not sure it had sharp enough flavours to inspire me to order it on my next visit.

A lovely spot for breakfast. Can see why it's popular. We arrived before 830am and were promptly served by a team of friendly staff. We had the eggs Benedict and breakky roll, they're both great. The flat white was good. The cafe has a nice outdoor area as it was 5 degrees we didn't brave ourselves to try that. Overall a positive experience.

Dropped into Country Coffee in Bathurst this morning and kicked things off with the poached eggs and smoked salmon… but had to pull the pin halfway through after finding two bones in the salmon. Now that’s on the supplier, not the café.
What mattered was how they handled it, and I’ve gotta say, their customer service was absolutely 5-star.
Elyshia, who was serving me, was straight onto it took photos, alerted the kitchen, contacted the supplier immediately. No excuses, no attitude, just genuine concern and professionalism.
The coffee? Bang on.
I’m not a fan of Vittoria beans never have been but whoever was behind the machine this morning knew exactly what they were doing. Smooth, balanced, and made properly.
For round two, I ordered the cheesy corn fritters with crispy bacon, grilled tomato, avocado, a poached egg and sweet chilli drizzle. Everything made in-house. Mate… 10 out of 10. Absolute flavour bomb. Couldn’t fault a single thing on that plate.
The whole team here is friendly, approachable, and on the ball. They handled the issue with my first meal perfectly and made it right without hesitation. That’s what real hospitality looks like.
Outback Rustic Kitchen definitely recommends Country Coffee Bathurst if you don’t already visit.

Outstanding! How lucky are the locals to have a cafe of this standard in your city. Was travelling through Bathurst and decided on a late breakfast at this cafe. Warm friendly greeting in a busy cafe . Served promptly with coffees arriving soon followed by our breakfast selections. The corn fritters were amazing and my partners double egg and bacon roll got the thumbs up as well . Coffee was also excellent.

Generosity and deliciousness are two qualities I esteem in a cafe/resto and Porter's Cafe have both in ample amount. I ordered a tall (pink) take-away flat white and the spanish omelette sans onion (I despise onions everywhere) with a side of hollandaise and one hash brown. When the coffee arrived (in good time too) it had heft and heat. [Chef's Kiss meme] And when the omelette came out (only about 7 minutes or less after the coffee), I actually, literally, sincerely exclaimed "Oh wow!" as the waitress placed it before me. That was my stomach and eyes and nose cheering for joy. Because it was generous beyond belief. And it was pretty. And the hollandaise was generous too. The lady said I could get a doggy bag should it exceed my capacity. I wanted to smash it but I also wanted to savour it. And capture it for posterity. I also had that "what if onions" thing I guess we all get when we ask for something we despise to be removed. Happy to report: no onions! This omrlette is delicious. There is a cadre of chirozo in it, no short-shrifting, and lotsa tiny toms that pop delightfully. Part way through the meal, I messaged my sister telling her that she and my broinlaw need to come here. Heck, I even told my mates in our WhatsApp group and they live in Brisbane, Australia, and Whichita, Kansas USA! And you can bet a Keno's worth of coin that I'll be telling the boys up at the RSL later th'sarvo. I mean, look at my face in that pic the waitress took: one happy Packer. I won't need to eat until dinner time. Thank you with all my heart and all my belly!

I can say they served my favourite lactose free cappuccino in town.
Also ordered gluten free chicken sandwiches and French fries, both were delicious and freshly made.

The presentation of both the food and coffee was beautiful. I was feeling the need for some sugar, and tried both the pancakes and waffles. The pancakes were thick but fluffy, and the waffles had a nice crisp. Definitely on the sweeter side, but as one with a sweet tooth I enjoyed them.
The coffee was also well made, with no burnt taste as I have had the pleasure of tasting many a time in Brisbane.
The staff were friendly, and the Cafe has a nice quaint feel about its atmosphere.
Prices are typical, around 15-25 for a main menu item.

I've been here three times now, and I've enjoyed it so much. Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the staff, the service and the look. I can not think of a single thing I hate about the place. I don't have photos for the food I got the first two times but I do for my latest trip. The food is so delicious beautiful cooked. The staff are amazing, they're all so nice and kind to everyone. And their service is on point. One of the girls forgot to grab me milk with my tea which was my fault, I forgot to ask. But another staff member was more then happy to grab me some. But I can't forget the look of this place. The interior is gorgeous, it's beautifully decorated. I do think this cafe will become my new regular. I love it here, I can't stress just how much I love it here. The owners have to be impressed with their staff, cause they're doing a brilliant job.

I had a wonderful experience at Doppio cafe. The smoothies were fantastic, with options like Tropical and Berry that I really enjoyed. My husband tried the Chicken Pesto for lunch and found it to be super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend visiting this cafe, especially in the summer when you can enjoy their refreshing smoothies. A day drive led us to Bathurst. A quick search for dog friendly cafe came up with Piccolo on William, in the middle of Bathurst.
We were met by friendly staff, and seeing we had a 4 legged friend, they brought out a bowl of water for the dog.
The service was friendly and helpful. Food was really nice with a good selection to choose from.
Gluten free options of food/cakes also available.

We attended this venue due to it offering plenty of Gluten free options, to only discover the menu online to be vastly different to what was actually availible. Our table wasnt ready and wasnt initally availible when we walked in for our reservation. Not having alot of what was on the menu availible (including ham & cheese crossaints) on one of the busiest weekends in the calendar was very poor. The food that came out was just edible but absolutely not what was advertised photo to show "smashed avo" that was supposed to have feta and lemon aswell, standing in line for 20 minutes to pay for it was the icing on the cake here. Disappointing experience overall. I visited with a few friends, and unfortunately none of us really enjoyed our meals, we left wishing we’d just cooked at home. The food presentation felt rushed and lacked care.
To be fair, the poached eggs on the smashed avocado were cooked property with a runny yolk. However, the avocado tasted slightly old and the feta mixed into it didn’t add much to the flavour. It would’ve been nicer if it had been good quality feta fresh and crumbled on top. The bread was also quite ordinary and didn’t stand out.
Service timing was also an issue. Two of my friends received their meals first, and by the time the rest of us were served, their food had gone cold. We had nearly finished our coffees before the meals arrived. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

So I stopped off for breakfast. Ordered eggs bene, hard to stuff that up so I thought.
Firstly the waitress gave me the incorrect meal. I brought this to her attention, and she simply took it away and gave it to the guy sitting opposite me. Luckily I didn’t touch it. I would not have enjoyed getting food from another table….
My meal arrived in a timely manner. I cut into the egg, and it’s rock hard. I was really hoping for some yummy runny yolk but not a chance. The egg tasted like vinegar, the sourdough was very toasted and almost impossible to cut.
It was very disappointing overall. Won’t be back.

We stopped in at Harvest Cafe & Store, located in the Bathurst Visitor Centre complex, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Parking was super easy, and we loved that there were both indoor and outdoor seating options – perfect for any weather.
We grabbed a coffee and one of the local soft drinks that the western region is known for – such a great way to get a taste of the area. For lunch, we both had the steak sandwich, which was absolutely delicious and came with crispy, golden fries that were packed with flavour.
The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The attached store is also well worth a look – it’s stocked with a lovely range of local produce, from jams and chutneys to honey, oils, and more of those signature soft drinks.
Whether you’re just passing through or spending some time in Bathurst, Harvest Cafe is a must-visit for a great bite to eat and a real taste of the region.

This place is connected to the information centre right on the road through town and onto Sydney from Orange, located on a park, which is a huge draw for parents with children or pet owners. So we have been here before and enjoyed it for the most part of each visit!
Today, however wasn't the best experience!
While I understand staff may be a little slower due to being in training or their first time in the role, service wasn't that good today!
I had to repeat my order 4 times and it still didn't come as ordered!
Coffee came out and it was lukewarm at best.
Then the food came, I asked for fried eggs sunny side up and they came out well done with no sign of soft yolk.
In fact they looked like had been cooked on/in a pan/hot plate that hadn't been cleaned for a while! It was the same with the grilled chicken on our other meal.
I only ate 1 & 1/2 of the eggs because I was starving!
Although this review seems negative, we enjoyed the space and fresh air seating and will come back to give it another shot.

Just came in for a hot chocolate and the chef's special today and have to say it was one of the best dumplings I've ever had. The eating area though small, had good lighting, sombre acoustics accompanied by coloured drawings and a simplistic charm that I found both relaxing and inviting. I should come back sometime.

My wife and I, along with three other couples had breakfast at Nikki’s on Monday morning after an overnight stay in Bathurst. Everyone was more than satisfied. My croissant special was so filling I didn’t eat lunch and the large coffee is enormous (My wife’s cup is shown.). The scrambled eggs and mushrooms ordered by others was also delicious. Very friendly service and we’ll make it a point to return when next in town.

My wife had a Mediterranean Salad with chicken which she really enjoyed.
Very fresh salad ingredients tasted like fresh from the garden. She also had a cappuccino which she rated highly.
I had a beef burger which came on a larger size bun with a good quality thick meat patty and super fresh salad.

After purchasing a very poor coffee in Lithgow, I continued my journey towards Orange and stopped in Bathurst along the way. I stumbled upon Nikki's Cafe and ordered the perfect cappuccino. The coffee was strong and smooth, something that is hard to find in the country.

Love going to Nikki's Cafe. I go on a regular basis with friends for brunch and family breakfasts. The prices are fair for the times and cheaper than other cafes in Bathurst for the great quality. I was extremely disappointed with my visit last evening. The place was absolutely filthy — every table was dirty, the floor was sticky with spilled drinks, and there were clear WHS hazards with wet and slippery areas. The toilets were unclean, and it was obvious that the restaurant was violating basic hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
What made the experience even worse was the manager's response when we raised our concerns. Despite being there for over 30 minutes, the place was not busy, yet no one made any effort to clean or step out of the kitchen. Such a great find! We were driving through Bathurst on a Sunday when we spotted the cafe so pulled over and it did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were big, piping hot and delicious and also love the range of differed milkshakes. Can’t wait to go back!

We recently had dinner for a special occasion there. The food was tasteless. Absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, the twice cooked pork belly had no crackling (that’s the whole point) and the chicken schnitzel tasted very funky & doesn’t come with any sauce/gravy.

Overpriced drinks & food. Ordered 2 x lemon pepper schnitzels, both were pink and 1 was raw in the middle. Advised the manager who before even looking at the chicken said “it’s cooked” but then proceeded to take both dishes back to the kitchen. Came back out with 2 x new schnitzels slightly more cooked this time but still pink, seems that very cheap chicken is used and definitely not chicken breast. No flavour either. Drinks overpriced. Disappointing overall.

Empty wild turkey 750ml bottle found under the bed, stains on bath towels, carpet dirty and no small table for the tea and coffee. The Manager is rude and the rooms are disgusting. There’s mould in the shower, the housekeepers do not even clean your room properly or make the bed, all they do is empty the bin, refill the toilet paper and towels and pull the bed up. I booked in for a week (not cheap for pub accommodation) for family reasons and travelled a long way, the least I expected was for my room to be cleaned properly each day. They didn’t even wipe the bathroom over! I checked out a day earlier and was denied a day’s refund, the manager was extremely rude, and I paid cash upfront! The food was okay, albeit very expensive and small serving. There’s no allocated parking. The only good thing I can say is the location is very convenient.

The 5 times we went in, the staff were friendly (& that was at 6/630am), coffee was good and the bacon and egg rolls were on point. B&E roll & a coffee was $13 which I think is good value considering there is a half pig of bacon in the roll! Definitely a stop if we stay in Kelso again!

My sister and I ordered a simple iced coffee and an iced latte with a ham and cheese croissant in 2 seperate orders. Granted we sat at the furthest away table because we had a pram and didn’t want to get in the way of other customers but we’re still within ear shot and could hear other names but we couldn’t hear our names be called so missed our pickup, then when we checked, we were told our names had been called twice and then our order was left on the counter. The iced coffee was an iced latte and the skinny iced latte had used full cream milk, not good for a lactose sensitive person. So the two different drinks were the same. If I could give it 0 I would, staff are so beyond rude you don't even get greeted they just stand at the register looking inconvenienced that you are there to order the only words spoken by them is when they have to ask for a name for the coffee. It isn't a one off experience it's their normal, and I will not be back, staff need to either be trained on how to have basic human friendly interaction or find a job in a non customer focused role. Came here the other morning for a coffee with a friend after a nice morning walk. Place seemed reasonably busy but was able to order straight away. Decent prices and coffee was good! Unfortunately the staff were really rude. It was my first time coming here and don’t think I will be back anytime soon, I felt rushed while ordering even though there was no one behind me waiting to order and the young girl who was taking our order kept laughing to her co workers. We waited outside for our coffee and my friend got hers first, the barista who an older guy was holding another coffee in his hand which I assumed could’ve been ours aswell but he left it on top of the coffee machine. Boy oh boy I've only just started coming here often and I haven't regretted it. The last 2 days I have had their Japanese fried chicken burger, omg 10 out of 10 and their roast pork roll with BBQ sauce and apple slaw is to die for! Cafe is very small and at 7.30am it was quiet. Lovely staff member was super friendly, and coffee was made so promptly, surprisingly fast I was concerned. Coffee is good, very enjoyable. we all have different taste buds.
I read more reviews and to see the 1* review from a Haley Jane was so disappointing being mocked about her fashion choice by customers and feeling emotionally bad is not cool but to then transfer those feeli gs into a review that can damage a business is just poor form.
Ristretto does not have a cozy atmosphere that can easily be created in a small space.

To be fair , it was Christmas Eve, and the reintroduction of CoVid restrictions. Our espresso coffees were served in paper c ups as we sat outside looking towards the Church. It was OK. Better than many in country towns, but nothing special.

Filled with lots of customers so we were very hopeful but unfortunately the food came out cold as a dogs nose and looked like they had been sitting in the cabinet for a while. I always order hazelnut latte, everywhere in town. This is amongst the only places that make a good one, not overly sweet how I had it in other places or tasting like syrup only with water. Firstly, if this place wasn’t great - it wouldn’t be so busy. Maybe the regulars aren’t leaving reviews, because this place has many!
Secondly, the prices are very affordable and they provide a good, consistent, tasty breakfast that is prepared quickly. It’s just what you need for Brekky - it’s perfect and not over the top. You can actually eat everything on your plate. The coffee is also bang on!
This is a great place for parents with teens to take their kids, without having to take out a loan to pay for it. It’s a bit of a hidden secret.
These guys are clearly very experienced in hospitality. I can’t fathom the negative reviews because we have been here so many times and it’s never been anything other than great.

My partner and I started going to Moubar twice a week before work a few months ago after my partner was raving about it and it really is the best way to start the day. It has been a great place for me to start introducing coffee into my pallete with mochas. The hot chocolates and food are also to die for, and the people there are always lovely and kind.
