Orders for other customers even came out before our 2nd round of toast? Now everyone likes their food prepped differently, but the bread was barely toasted on one side and barely even warm on the opposite side. The crockery is lovely to look at, but mainly silly sized. The cup i was given for my tea was more espresso cup sized, which made the teapot seem generous. However, the tea had barely any taste to it and i tried to get everything out of the teabag. The coffee cup was also barely much bigger than my teacup. All in all, it was just a disappointing experience and not at all what we expect from M&S. I will continue to shop in the grocery part of the store, as a lot of M&S food is lovely, but the cafe will be a no-go area going forward.
