너무 예쁘고 여유로운 공원

너무 작고 그냥 평범해서 왜 사람들이 이곳을 추천하는지 이해가 잘 안됩니다. 그냥 평범한 동네 공원인데 분수대만 있을뿐입니다. 관광객에게 꼭 가야한다고 추천할 정도는 아닌듯합니다. It was just small park with play ground and fountain.

대성당으로 굉장한 규모를 자랑함니다. 건물 양식이나 역사적 가치가 높고 천주교 신자라면 반드시 가보셔야하는 곳 입니다. 촛불봉헌은 성전 내 좌, 우측에 준비되어 있고 기부금도 받고 있습니다. 실제로 미사를 드리는 장소이기에 방문시 말소리는 최대한 작게 부탁드리며 노출이 과도한 옷은 삼가하는 것이 좋습니다. 누군가에게는 관광지일 수 있지만 종교적 건물이기에 예의 부탁드립니다.

Basilica 양식으로 지어진 카톨릭 성당입니다. 밖에서 본 모습도 좋았습니다. 그렇지만 밖의 모습만으로는 만족하지 못할지도 모릅니다. 월-토요일까지는 투어를 할 수 있기 때문에(오후 5시 이전까지. 토요일 오후 5시 부턴 예배를 위하여 신도들이 들어오기 시작하였음) 내부를 꼭 보시기를 권합니다.

사진보다 실망스러워요 ㅎㅎ 그렇지만 외관보다 내부가 훨씬 예뻐서 놀랬던 곳! 밤에 다시 보니 주변경관과 어우러져 불빛 어른거리는 야경도 괜찮더라구요. 성당 내부 좌/우 벽에 예수님의 고난이 12단계로 만들어진 조각품이 전시되어있습니다. 찬찬히 보시면 좋을 듯 합니다

스페인 이끼(Spanish Moss)가 주렁주렁 달린 참나무(Southern Live Oak)가 터널을 이룬 곳. 그 터널 끝에는 굴껍질을 원료로 만든 옛날 집이 있음. 그 집까지 왕복하는 셔틀이 있음.
