Great hostel experience in Puerto natales. The town is super cute. Hostel has hot showers and owner gives you free towel to use. Sunrise view is outstanding. There’s a grocery at the corner where you can make your own trail mix.

I have never left a hostel without staying prior to this, but the bedding was so dirty, we couldn’t even stay for the one night we had booked. There were marks on the mattress and sheets that looked suspiciously like bed bugs, and there were even dead bugs under the beds. The pillows that were presumably once white were yellow. We asked to see a different room, and they showed us an admittedly cleaner private room that still had marks on the sheets. They tried to explain these marks away as being from stains from previous guests, which is still not acceptable. As we booked a non refundable room, despite us saying that we couldn’t stay due to the cleanliness of the place, they refused to give us a refund. We were happy to take the loss as all we wanted to do was leave.

Great hostel - lovely welcoming staff. Breakfast was basic - bread to toast with a selection of spreads and some cereal. The showers and dorm beds were clean and comfortable but it would have been better if the beds had been made for guests as you have to make your own bed

Diego is an incredibly helpful and funny host, and gave us lots of great tips for doing the W trek (such as getting the bus to drop us off at the office which is much closer than the bus station). Towels were included, good kitchen amenities, nice common area w netflix, and hot shower water.

Great place to stay in Puerto natales. Clean, warm, hot showers, free breakfast, luggage storage, and free towels. The owner is friendly and helpful with information about Torres del Paine, the town, and other things to do in the area. Met lots of great people here and had a great time.

Diego went above and beyond to supply us with information and guidance to make our trip to Patagonia safe and exciting. He cares a lot about the experience of his tenants. Some of our favorite memories in Puerto Natales of hanging out with him in our hostel. The free towels are a bonus

The owner of the hostel "Diego" is a great host. He knows a lot about the O and W Trek and will give you all the information you need about the trek. Storing luggage you do not need for free is a great bonus of the hostel. The beds could use an upgrade, but Diego told us that he is working on it in the near future. The hostel has a nice community area that makes it easy to connect with other people. Breakfast consists of toast with butter, jam, peanut butter, cheese, coffee, milk and juice. From the hostel it takes about 20 minutes to get to the Terminal Rodoviario (Estación de Autobuses) bus station.

Well documentation of the early settlers, their dreams, their feights, their daily lives. It is preserved there. And in the new part of the museum a well curated description of the racism and greed of some settlers as well, which led to the acceptance of genocide on the native tribes. Luckily the museum gives a place and education on the topic such that mankind stands a chance that this won't happen again as it did so many times. The ones who don't know their history are condemned to repeat it. Thank you for holding up memory and information.

A professional display with very interesting information and displays about the history and early native settlers in the region. Information in this first section is bilingual in Spanish and English. The later rooms are about the colonialists who settled in the southern region. The displays show the life, farming and sadly, the inhuman treatment and extermination of the indigenous tribes. The hour visit was well worth the time and the CPS2000 entry for a foreigner (CPS1000 for nationals)

This museum is a great place for a visit to have a better understanding of the history surrounding Puerto Natales.

Wonderful, charming museum with detailed information in English and Spanish about the area around Puerto Natales - prehistory, early inhabitants, European settlements, etc. Carlos was very welcoming and helpful, pointing out specific details that interested us based on our background. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

A calming place to spend an afternoon.

Natales is such an amazing place, great restaurant, quiet and pretty safe, special mention to Slowly bar, best in town, really good hotdogs!

Nice square in the middle of the old town. Puerto Natales grew on me after a few visits and it has a nice and friendly atmosphere. The square is a nice and quiet place to enjoy on a fine day.

Don't order platos, order a sandwich instead. These are giant. Hot. With a lot of meat, or whatever you order, and fresh vegetables. In essence, it's a dish, just between two slices of bread. Be aware that it is not a regular hotel. You won't get a room by just pulling over and asking for it. I think they rent out the whole thing for events only. We were offered a place to pitch a tent, though.

Lovely, clean, open plaza surrounded by some great shops and restaurants, a well maintained church and a wonderful secret little café that reminds me a bit of Mario's Cigar Store in SF way back when. Any place that has patrons reading REAL newspapers over coffee or a beer is tops in my book.

very pretty view!! the muelle itself is nothing spectacular but the history is very interesting and the view of the water and the mountains is phenomenal. it’s a popular tourist spot so can get pretty crowded but is still a nice place to sit out and look at.

Unique burnt out bridge in a beautiful backdrop. Can get crowded with people taking photographs. Recommend going for sunrise or sunset as the light would be perfect … I wish I had time to go during sunrise as it would illuminate faces as this structure is West.

The muelle as such is nothing special, however, along with the incredible view of the sea and the mountains, it creates an impressive setting for amazing photos.

It's a nice spot to take pictures and if you are lucky, you might be able to witness majestic sunsets, with hundreds of Cormorans and the mountains at the back

Review for 2D1N La Barrosa tour Cannot say enough great things about this experience. The service was incredible, we were looked after from the moment we arrived at the pier and the team at the estancia put a lot of care into preparing for our arrival, including understanding our individual level of experience riding and stocking way too many food options for dietary restrictions. The group experience at the estancia was a lot of fun. We loved the herding dog demonstration and the bbq lamb lunch was insanely good. The private ride and overnight stay at La Barrosa was magical, no other way to describe it. The views were stunning, we saw so much wildlife and riding up and down the mountain, through trees and over streams was so fun. The cabin itself is beautiful and serene. Juan (our private guide) was amazing. We had one novice and one experienced rider and he helped cater to both of our levels so we had the best time. He was very knowledgeable, patient and a good cook too (made us local trout over the fire for our night at the cabin). Thank you for everything, it was a pleasure!

Fabulous day at La Pennisula. The hosts provide great information about the area and speak about the basics of the sheep farming operation. Beautiful horses with a lovely ride on the property. Wonderful food and wine. The full day experience was a real treat.

Booked this through denomades and it was so good. The boat crossing, horse ride and insanely delicious lamb lunch with lovely wine was thoroughly enjoyed. Also sheep herding and shearing. Stunning scenery, people and food. Totally worth it.

One of the highlights of our trip in Patagonia! We did a full day at Estancia La Peninsula. We spent the morning horseback riding, had the best lamb bbq and got to see sheep shearing. I would definitely go back, it was an awesome experience, definitely worth the price! Everyone is super friendly and informative.

One of the best things we experienced in our time in Patagonia! You can see the care and love that the people put into everything at La Peninsula. We went for a day trip and did the horse back riding experience and learned about the sheep/wool. Our guides were wildly informative and spoke great English! The lamb lunch was absolutely amazing and the best lamb we have ever eaten! We hope to come back again the next time we are in Patagonia!

The best, albeit expensive, day trip. Really amazing team and estancia. We did the full day tour option and were very happy with it. We didn’t have a lot of horse experience but it was more than okay! They help you a lot, plus the group was not too big (14p). We had a really skilled guide who told the history of the region and the estancia. The BBQ is ridiculously good, better than in argentina, and they serve bottomless good wine. The sheep herding and sheering was also interesting. Worth the money if you doubt.

We had a wonderful visit here. We were lucky as there were less than 10 people there. We rode horses in the morning and saw demonstrations on how they farm sheep. The staff were all fantastic and the food was delicious. The lamb was cooked over an open flame.

A very cute Patagonian restaurant with oriental and African accents. Clean design, excellent service. A slight hint of fine dining. Ate crab trio and liked it very much. The octopus was rubbery and chewed with great difficulty. Excellent risotto with the same fresh crab was delicious. Lovely desserts.

Such a good meal!!! The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the hare and the steak with veggies and polenta and a bottle of red wine followed by the rice pudding. Best meal we've had in the 3 weeks weve been in Chile 😍 thank you

This might be one of the most delicious meals I've had in Patagonia. The dishes were like fine dining at a reasonable price with a fusion of delicious flavours. We had the salmon cerviche, chicken and hare and I'd highly recommend them all! Also the pisco sour with ginger syrup. If we had more time I'd love to come back and try some of the other dishes! Very good customer service, contemporary design and lovely atmosphere.

Lovely higher end restaurant. Unfortunately I don’t drink but they had a great selection of wines but their Calafate Lemonade was delicious. I had their cerviche to start, lamb chops with potatoes for the main, and the trio of desserts for the end. My only criticism is that’s it’s on the more expensive side

The food at this place was amazing. I went in based on the reviews. Firstly, great waitress who served us. She was fast and efficient. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The service was fast. I tried Guanaco the first time and it tasted like duck. It was delicious. The crab trio salmon, and Kilimanjaro dessert were delicious as well.

It was a very good diner, with a very nice ambiance. The food was delicious and the waiters very kind ! We had to wait a long time at the beginning but the waiters arrived with appetisers so it was all forgiven !

I was very hungry, but the chupe de mariscos is the best tiny appetizer that I’ve ever had. Small restaurant with limited seat and I saw a few people got turned away because it was packed. Food gets served when they are ready so it might take some time. But very warm and welcoming place and would recommend!

Amazing seafood stew!!! We were recommended this place by someone from town and wowawiwa it was phenomenal. We ordered the carpaccio, ceviche, tuna, and chupe. While everything was good the chupe seafood stew was out of this world.

Had a great experience at El Bote in Puerto Natales. The seafood was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and definitely one of the best meals we had in town. The fruit drinks were super fresh, and really hit the spot. The staff were very friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order. If you’re in Puerto Natales and craving great seafood with welcoming service, El Bote is a solid choice.

My wife and I loved this restaurant. Visited twice for dinner during our three day trip to Puerto Natales/Torres del Paine National Park. Ate some of the best seafood we have ever had. Keep in mind that we have lived in Puerto Rico, New England and Florida, where we have access to excellent seafood options. The Centolla Magallanica (king crab meat), Paila Marina (seafood soup) and Pulpo a la Española (grilled optopus) were delicious. So was the Cerveza Natales (stout). As for the service, we cannot say enough about our waiter, Kevin. He was professional, personable, and attentive. Overall, a delightful experience with tasty, plentiful food.

It was just OK and very expensive. All the dishes probably fresh, but everything overdone. Octopus a bit chewy, king crab kinda dry. The ceviche was the only dish not overdone. Also don't bother with the guanaco; I don't think it's this place alone, the whole animal is tough and flavorless. Much better options in town, sadly can't escape the live music there either, but at least is short.

My husband and I had dinner here and had a great experience. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The Calafate juice was unique and our home made pasta dishes were truly one of the best meals we have had in Chile. 10/10 will be coming back here any time we are in Puerto Natales

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Friendly and efficient service, menus in Spanish and English and a cute fit out within a shipping container space. The food was exceptional. We had two tapas size king crab dishes plus the scallops three-ways plate and they were all brilliant. There was a lot of crab in the tapas plates. Desserts were also really good. Wine selection had some reasonably priced options. Highly recommended.

Hands down, the best meal I had in Puerto Natales and one of the best I had during my visit to Chile last October. First, let's talk about the decor and vibe. The restaurant is made up of containers (yes, like ship containers) and the decor is cool and hip while maintaining a casual friendliness. I'll admit the entrance (on the left side was hard to find), but a young boy called us over! My friend started with the spicy tomato soup (she loved it), and I had a salad (the dressing was so delicious and, frankly, after lots of empanadas, breads and meat, the freshness was such a welcome treat! She had a tortilla (Spanish omelette) for her main (again, meated out at this point) and I had the BEST dish I had in all of Chile - the seabass steamed in parchment with vegetables. So light and flavorful and cooked perfectly. I wondered if I would regret not getting crab as this is the bug draw here, but after a taste of the fish, no regrets at all! Service was lovely and efficient (it was busy). The only con I would give it is that it is a bit cramped, but I guess there are just so many tables that fit in a container...

Tiny, gorgeous setting for the best Chilean Sea Bass of your life. Service is straightforward and unstuffy but kind. Food is incredible fresh and delicious without feeling too fancy. Returned here more than once with only four days in the city while visiting Patagonia.

The best place in Puerto Natales, everything in the menu was amazing. We had dinner on the last night of our trip and truly enjoyed the entire experience—great atmosphere, seafood and wine. I highly recommend Santolla, and I look forward to returning on my next trip to Puerto Natales.

Had an incredible dining experience at Santolla in Puerto Natales tonight! The cozy atmosphere in their unique and eclectic train car building added a special touch to the meal. Service was fantastic – attentive and warm. The seafood was truly the star of the show. We enjoyed the king crab legs, which were absolutely to die for. The scallops, served three ways, came in a generous portion and were delightful. My personal favorite was the Chilean sea bass – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommend arriving right at 6 PM when they open to secure a seat. Definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers!

WOW! Hands down the best restaurant in puerto natales. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the scallops prepared 3 ways, the mussels and the king crab in the most flavorful sauce you could Ever imagine. I wanted to dip everything in that! We enjoyed a lovely bottle of white wine to pair with our dishes and the service and ambience was fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The restaurant was good but was not sure why the long line (perhaps all restaurants in Puerto Natales have long lines?). We were lucky that we got there right at the opening and did not have to wait. We had piernas santolla, mero austral and ostiones 3 estaciones. They were all good especially the sea bass. The crab leg dish was food also but it’s crab leg. Having been to two other restaurants in Puerto Natales, this time, the flavor of the dishes did not stand out. Again still good. Also the serving staff was so busy (just two during dinner rush) so that they could not have time to explain the dishes to us.

Oh well, I just loved it. First, it's vegetarian menu, it has quite a variety of dishes. Second, the place. It's very comfy, but some customers may leave the door open and a cold breeze comes in, but the owners are quite responsive to close the door. Third and final, the music. I just loved it, again. they have veg options!!!!! vegan burger was very basic and not really flavorful. only the burger for 7500. i know chile is expensive but it just seems very average for that price...?

Easily some of the best fresh made vegetarian/vegan food I have had on any continent. Comfy jean couches and an excellent magazine collection to relax with.

Pretty sure this place is meat-free. Got a MASSIVE salad. Really good. WiFi was fast.

We came in for a coffee and a relax and the staff was excellent, so we stayed for a couple hours and had a great meal. We came back after our hike to do the same. Great little gem, love the home made feel and that they had gluten free and of course Vegan food. :)))

Would absolutely recommend El Living for delicious homemade vegetarian food. This cute and relaxed restaurant is family owned and it shows with the care and thought that goes into all the food. Food is full of flavour -garlic, ginger, chilli, all the things you miss when traveling around. They even have whole black pepper mills on the table. I will definitely come back!

I had a spare hour before sunset and great weather, so I was strolling along the little town on Puerto Natales and happened to come across this monument. There is skate/bike park here for doing tricks. The sunset is great from here. The views of mountains are great too

pretty cool monument but the statue itself is not spectacular in my opinion but i can see how a lot of people could enjoy it. it’s also fun to sit and watch the people skating and biking at the skate park but if you’re expecting a serene view of a statue overlooking the beach, it may be a bit loud for your taste

It really feels like the end of the world

The two sculptures, one male and one female, seem to play and float in the strong Patagonian winds, which are prevalent in the area and which the sculptures themselves celebrate and are dedicated to. They have been create in 2012 by the Chilean sculptor Marcela Romagnoli and have since become one of the symbols of Puerto Natales. They sit next to a small skate park and right by the water, in a wonderful spot from which to admire the gulf of Last Hope (as the gulf on which Puerto Natales sits is named) and the surrounding mountainous landscape. It's a lovely sculpture in a wonderful place, well worth a stop.

Came back from W trek really late past 10pm and i wasnt feeling well but it was my last night in Natales and this was on my to do list. Checked into hostel, dropped my stuff and went straight to the bar. The guy (in cap working on 12 mar) that answered the door and brought me in was great, explaining the place and the gins and let me have tastings. The place was bustling and this is the place to go after dark. I was famished and ended up ordering the empanadas and meat pies which are small in size, more like finger food. Also had the gin and ginger and negroni. The staff are all very friendly and the decor was nice. Recommended!

This review is way overdue, had an amazing time visiting during middle of this year. Had the most amazing time here, drinks were good, vibes were great, the free tour to talk you through about how gin and the whiskey is made on site lets you gain so much insight about making the spirits in general.

When we heard that a couple of Aussies had set up a distillery in Puerto Natales we had to check it out! We were not disappointed 😀 It’s on the outskirts of town but don’t let the walk put you off. Friendly owners, awesome friendly staff, great vibes and food to match! Great home grown gins too! There was a London Dry and a Calafette gin on the go when we visited. The Calafette gin was a knockout! Warning - unlike other places in PN, these guys get busy early and when it’s full you will be queuing! We arrived at 5.45 and snagged the last seats at the bar 😀. The owner did mention they get busy before and after the restaurants so make sure you time your visit accordingly 🍹

World class bar experience at "the end of the world". Brilliant service ethic by a great team lead by a couple of Chilean Aussies with genuine passion. The gins truly excellent and showcase locally sourced botanicals perfectly. Pair with their " you beaut" Patagonian sourced tapas ( sorry not to get one of their pies though !) and cool, welcoming atmosphere and you got yourself a fine night out. Thank you all so much. Over a period of 3 weeks in Puerto Natales we went enough times to take the tour, try all of the drinks on the menu, and try all of the food! 😳😂 Staff awesomeness and quality of drinks/food was consistent and the experience/quality is really good value. Great team putting out a great product in a super cozy space. See you all next year!

This is by far the best bar in Puerto Natales. Not just because of lacking selection, it would be a solid bar anywhere! They produce and use their own gin. Even if you're not a gin fan you should try them because they use calafate berry in their mix. It creates a unique flavor and bright red color. The food is also very good and that includes a vegetarian option. Arrive early because there will be a line to get in. Get a seat at the bar for a better show of the bartenders. Distillery tours are offered twice a day as of January 2024.

A must visit in Puerto Natales for Gin and Wh*sky lovers. The southern most Gin and Whiskey distillery (most likely) in the world. We went here before and after our W trek and the staff is what makes it so great. Super friendly and willing to have a chat and a laugh, they remembered us when we came back a second time! They also make ripping cocktails too so you will be hard pressed to have a bad time with the atmosphere and food/drink quality. Worthwhile doing the free tour at 530 as it also gets you in the door early because no doubt the place will pack out later in the evening and you'll be waiting outside for a table. The small walk is definitely worth it for some delicious Gin at the bottom of the world.

2 people, ordered fried calamari as an appetizer, which came with their home made sauce. Calamari was crispy although sauce pairing was not our favorite. As main dish we got a octopus and fish, both were good but not as much as we got from other restaurants in Puerto Natales. Two Pisco as drinks with total bill at 85.000 with 10% tip. Overall good but quality price there is better.

Excellent fresh food in a casual setting with great customer service! I tried carpaccio de guanaco for the first time in my life - what a yummy local delicacy. The salmon ceviche and octopus were exceptional. And the tres leches dessert was so delicious.

Small and simple eatery, but high quality food and service. I was gladly served by a waiter who spoke great English and Portuguese besides Spanish of course. Their salmon and risotto was excellent. The restaurant is annexed to Hotel Vendaval where they also serve their breakfast (saw some tourist trying to get in for breakfast, but I believe they only serve lunch and dinner to non guests).

Delicious and fresh seafood! We ordered their salmon and shrimp ceviche and their Bahia octopus - both were the some of the best food we’ve tried during our trip. The service was also excellent - they brought us complimentary trout pâté for canapé and delicious cookies at the end. A great dinner to end a day of gruelling hikes. We didn’t order the wine but their selection of Chilean wines look great!

Seriously one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in all of Chile. We ordered the salmon and shrimp ceviche and the salmon roll plate. The ceviche was the perfect balance of acidity and delicate fish while the salmon rolls were filled with scallops that satisfied our seafood craving. Would highly recommend the dishes and the cucumber lemonade!

Being a bengali, I can smell good fish. So I smelled something nice cooking while walking by the restaurant. To my surprise, it was full and we didn’t get a table. They have free wifi and that can a reason why people tend to stay longer 😁. We went next day for lunch and liked it a lot. Service is bit slow but the waitress was sweet and nice host. The food goes like this: 1. Caldillo de mariscos magallánicos: This is a blast of sea food in a steaming broth. It was hot and flavorful till the last bite. Mix a little tabasco and the chilly flakes. It hits all your taste buds. 2. Vegetales al Curry: I didnt taste this. But my friend told it was blunt. But he is happy that he got his veggies. 3. Rollos de Salmón Austral: Salmon was cooked to perfection. Seasoned with the right spices. Recommended if you have patience. There is no chicken/pollo in the menu. Its a pure seafood place. I came here for dinner and ordered for two The Carpaccio de Guanaco was scrumptious, the acidity of the dressing blew me away. Everything was delicious but the carpaccio was definitely the standout. The crispy bacalao magallánico (cod?) was yummy with the sweet caramelised onions balancing the fish well. The chupo de centolla was filled with crab meat although the flavour was more seafood than cheese - if that's what you prefer. Rhubarb sour and green apple sour were nice and punchy drinks. The price of the restaurant is a little bit high (expected for a tourist town?) We paid around 81000clp (86USD) for 3 dishes and 2 drinks.

It is a very small restaurant with 8 tables and one waitress, so have some patience. The portions are huge and Patagonian lam had 4 big lamb pieces and Portuguese lam was just perfect. Guanaco pastrami was delicious. We had a good time. Expect some waiting at rush hour. When someone says there was not enough meat in lamb disco do not believe in it. Both our dishes had more than enough meat.

Really excellent food and service. A friendly place where you can tell that the food is made with love! We had an octopus special and homemade ravioli with spinach topped with seafood (mussels, clam, shrimp, king crab and scallops). So delicious

Delicious- the Disco Submarino was tasty. Mussels, scallops and salmon cooked just right. Mine was a bit salty because I think they may have used the brine as the base for the sauce but I really enjoyed it. Hubby had the beef option which didn’t seem to marry with the seafood sauce. The waitress was super helpful and really, really nice.

This place was DELICIOUS and I will be talking about it for YEARS. The food was so fresh, tased incredible, and the overall environment of the place was perfect. The restaurant is small and only has a few staff members so that’s the only reason for the moderately slow wait times but, we didn’t mind at all. The drinks were so good, too. Highly recommend if you’re in the area it was so so good.

We love the food here and we came back for the second time. However we find the service was not very great. We have to queue wait outside for the table when the restaurant is food and it’s freezing cold. The waitress also get our order wrong on our second visit. When we pay, we ask to add a 5% tips, however our card does not work on the first time; the waitress took the card machine back and sneaky put a 10% tips instead of what we ask for. We find that not very acceptable.

The dishes we ordered, seafood stew and king crab pasta, both are so salty we merely touched them. The waitress didn’t ask why we didn’t eat them. We have been traveling through Santiago to here we found the seafood dishes are salty in general but this time is not eatable, unfortunately. We don’t speak enough Spanish to communicate…

What an amazing coffee shop. Such a surprise. Every coffee including the espresso is a curated single roast. Mo wonder it is one of the best coffee shops in the world. Had beautiful pour over perfectly brewed. The food is clean, healthy, beautiful. Barista takes his art seriously. What you won’t know is that the water is softened and filtered. Not many coffee shops do that. There is a reason their coffee will always taste better

Great place to hang out with a hot cup of your favourite brew. Coffee never tasted so good. The Holaste toast of avocado and mushrooms was yummy. Went back a second time as the coffee was so good. Boast the claim as top 100 coffee places in the world.

It’s a great place overall — though I found their no-laptop rule a bit unusual (I didn’t have mine with me, but it still felt strange). Still, definitely worth visiting for the food, coffee, and welcoming vibe.

Overall, the experience was good, but I would prefer to buy coffee beans that are more freshly roasted — the ones I bought today had been roasted three weeks ago. Typically, coffee beans taste best within 30 days of roasting. Since the beans are selected and handed over by the staff, I couldn’t check the roast date beforehand. If I had known they were already three weeks old, I probably would have bought only one bag or chosen not to purchase them at all. - Additional note: The bagged coffee beans sold at this café are kept in a cabinet where customers cannot pick them up or examine them directly. As a result, you only find out the roast date of your chosen beans after you’ve selected a specific origin and completed your purchase. That said, as the café mentioned in their response, perhaps customers should be more proactive in asking about the roast dates of the different beans before making a purchase.

Holaste Specialty Coffee is one of my favorite places during my time in Puerto Natales! One of the best parts is the cat —they’re free to roam between the indoor space and the outdoor patio, so you can enjoy your coffee with some furry friends hanging out nearby. The food was delicious, and the coffee was top-notch—everything felt carefully prepared. The owners were super friendly and made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place that feels warm and welcoming, with great food, drinks, and an overall fun vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

There is a huge floor when you go up to the ice cream shop. When I left I couldn't see it and I fell to the floor. The girl who was serving me didn't help me get up at any time and they didn't have any markings either. Their lack of empathy was disappointing but I didn't drop the ice cream because my boyfriend bought it for me...very expensive.

Great excursion organized from Puerto Natales to the viewpoint of Mirador Base Torres del Paine, the guides gave us all the instructions to have a pleasant day. It is challenging to arrive to the top but it's worth it!

I took the Base Torres through this agency, this agency is great, the service is super good, they picked everyone at 6:30am and drove to the national park, we were given hiking sticks and snow chains. We had three guides, two men and one woman, they were super nice and cares about everyone's condition. Patagonia snows too much in winter, the roads were all covered with snow, our guides made a way for us, especially Sophia, as a girl, you were so strong and awesome, respect. We booked a full day excursion to Torres Del Paine with this company. We had negative experiences with some of the 3rd party tour operators so we wanted to go straight to the provider. We were very happy with our choice! They picked us up at our apartment right on schedule and showed us a great day in the park. Simon, our guide was awesome and although the weather was disappointing, he made the day worthwhile. He was also willing to give us some suggestions if we decided to return to the park on another day on our own.. you really have to be flexible in Patagonia, the weather is impossible to predict and you can’t blame the operators when conditions aren’t great…

We booked an one day tour and a trekking tour with Onteaiken, and had a very good experience. The guide Simon with us in the one day tour and Jonathon the guide trekking with us are so helpful and nice. Also the driver Victor brought us a safe road trip which makes us feeling so grateful because the drive in the snowy weather conditions is never easy.

Yesterday we had a challenged but amazing day with our tour guide Criss. He was beyond cheering us and keeping us safe in our way to Base Torres. Highly recommend!

Visiting Patagonia I could not have imagined doing this trip with out the help of Carrie and her team at Venture Patagonia. Carrie was able to curate the perfect honeymoon trip for my husband and myself combining all the things we wanted to do and see and stay within our budget. As a " type A" planner for trips I am usually so worried about making sure all the tickets/hotels etc are booked but Carrie made our lives easy and gave me peace of mind with her seamless and detailed process. We were able to have private transfers between all of our activities and felt well taken care of and safe the whole time. The staff are knowledgable about the area and give the insider tips and local eats too! Remarkable experience!

We had our airplane tickets to go to Chile and my husband was searching for places to rent electric mountain bikes while we were in Patagonia. Venture Patagonia appeared during his internet search, so he reached out to Carrie. Wow was that a blessing!! I would never travel to Patagonia again without Carrie's help. She set us up in the most wonderful, perfect hotels, lined us up with the perfectly fitting excursions with the BEST guides EVER!! Our Venture Patagonia trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, full of special moments -- from kayaking around icebergs to hiking past flamingos and guanacos to seeing 6,500 year old cave paintings -- that I will always remember. I am so grateful to Carrie and the team for their thoughtful work in curating this 12-day itinerary for me and my mom. We loved the mix of stays and activities, such as a luxury hotel in wine country, where we enjoyed four course meals and beautiful views, and a remote cabin on a peninsula in Patagonia, where we cold plunged and bonded with our horses. Our guides (especially Valentina!) made our excursions a much richer experience, as we learned so much about the local flora and fauna, traditions, indigenous people, context, and history. Cristian made sure that we were safe, Continuously monitoring and helping us prepare for the unpredictable weather and conditions with the horses, made sure we were well fed with delicious farm to table fresh meals, and seamless coordinated every aspect of the most incredible two weeks of my life exploring Chilean Patagonia!! Cannot highly recommend enough!

Venture Patagonia provided all of the local knowledge and border-crossing logistics that allowed us to combine hiking the W Track with Puma Tracking in Patagonia with a private resort stay in Bolivia, “Little Paris” city tour in Buenos Aires and an exceptional Antarctica expedition - all within our budget and tight timeline. We absolutely could not have explored half of what we saw, without Carrie and her team’s expertise.

This cave is famous by the fact that prehistoric Mylodons leaved here. The footprints show that pumas and foxes visit this cave at night. This is not a very long but very wide cave.

I was so happy to visit here! I love giant sloths and it was very cool to see where they once roamed. There isn’t much to see inside the cave, but it is a nice visit. We also walked a trail above the cave and another trail to a different cave. We were able to Uber there and back although my service was not very good on the road. We bought our tickets online and then showed them at the entrance. There is Starlink wifi available at the welcome building. This is a great informational stop!

An interesting spot about 30 minutes from Puerto Natales. There are three main caves: the first is the largest and most impressive, while the others are smaller with little to see. If you enjoy trekking, the full trail takes around 3 hours. Worth a visit, though I wouldn’t call it a must.

Lovely little excursion near Puerto Natales. We called an uber to take us there, and asked our hotel to have a cab pick us up 2 hours later. That gave us enough time to see the big cave and take a 30 minute hike to the medium sized cave, walking at a fast pace.

This is a very special hotel with so much to recommend it that it’s hard to know where to start. By far the most important though is the warmth and professionalism of the staff. They work as an exceptional team. Special mention to Benjamin in the restaurant who was a knowledgable and helpful sommelier, Jessica in the bar who shared her delicious local creations of gin and spirits, but especially to our guides in this magical landscape - Kata, Anna, Seve and Mauricio - and our lovely driver/butler 😉Fernando. As someone who travels extensively, I’ve stayed at a wide range of hotels across the world, but The Singular truly stands out for its unique blend of luxury, service, and atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with its beautiful design and stunning setting. Nestled in the heart of Chile’s Patagonia region, the hotel offers sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, fjords, and forests, which is an absolute treat for nature lovers. The building itself is a perfect mix of contemporary luxury and rustic charm, blending seamlessly into the breathtaking landscape. Every detail, from the fine woodwork to the warm, inviting common areas, added to the overall sense of comfort and elegance. The rooms were spacious, impeccably designed, and equipped with modern amenities, yet still managed to feel cozy and intimate. I particularly appreciated the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, offering an unobstructed view of the Patagonian wilderness. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. What really set this hotel apart, though, was the service. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A particularly nice touch was how the staff, from those at the top to the bottom of the "elevator," remembered our names each day. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. Mark in Concierge was especially helpful to us in planning our time with many activities at the hotel and hours away. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. The restaurant offers a farm-to-table dining experience, with a menu that showcases the best of Patagonian cuisine, complemented by an excellent wine list featuring local selections. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hotel's location also made it an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the region. We enjoyed day trips to nearby parks and scenic spots, and the hotel offers a range of excursions, from hiking to boat tours, which made it easy to connect with the landscape. After a long day of adventure, returning to the Singular felt like the perfect retreat. If I had to note any area for improvement, it would be the spa facilities. While they are certainly nice, I felt that a few more treatments or perhaps a larger relaxation area would have added to the overall experience. But this is a minor detail, given how fantastic the rest of the hotel is. Overall, The Singular Patagonia Hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The combination of beautiful design, exceptional service, and a prime location makes it one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in recent years. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious escape in one of the most stunning parts of the world. Definitely a 4-star experience!

A wonderful hotel. Restaurants, common areas, and rooms are terrific. The half board option is definitely worth it. The dinner menu contains many good choices. The staff are friendly and attentive. The design is very unusual, modern hotel spaces inside a shell capturing the history of the site as a meat warehouse.

They have a museum here and a restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. The only thing is you can't take the food to go. You have to eat it there.

If you have food allergies, DO NOT stay at this place. My bad review isn’t about a service issue, it’s not about a bed not being made or a hair in my food, but a medical one as this hotel openly endangered my 65 year old mother’s health and took ZERO accountability for it. I took my mom on a trip to Chile and booked a night at Th Singular for a special experience. We were so excited to be there. When you book, the hotel asks about allergies, at which point I told them my mom was severely allergic to gluten. They asked again before arrival, and once more at check in. I was pleased as it seemed they took the matter seriously. Not 10 minutes after we explained who specifically had the allergy at check in, we were guided to the concierge area where they offered a “chocolate with caramel”. My mom took one bite and crumbles fell: it was a chocolate covered cookie, an alfajor. I asked if it was gluten free and they said no. This wasn’t a communication issue as we are both native Spanish speakers. They simply didn’t explain that this was an alfajor and of course weren’t paying attention to the allergies they knew we had. She took some allergy medication and didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but I asked to talk to the manager simply to ask him to please be more careful during our stay as this was serious. He promised to look after us during our stay, to make sure there were no more issues, and apologized. We were still happy to be there and wanted to have a good time. At dinner, we were pleased the menu was marked for allergens. Everything we ordered was marked as being gluten free so we could share. When our mains arrived, I noticed the lamb I ordered sat on a bed of what seemed like wheat risotto, and not the potatoes the menu had said. I asked the server what it was and she said “it’s what you ordered.” I said no and that this didn’t look gluten free. She confirmed it was wheat, trigo mote. What followed were a series of lies, deceptions and what can only be described as gaslighting. She tried to tell me I had ordered wrong, then that the menu was wrong, then that if she had known we were gonna share she would’ve told us it wasn’t gluten free even though the menu explicitly said it was. The hotel manager, server, and chef all discussed in the kitchen but no one came to give us an explanation so I had to go there. The chef even tried to lied to me saying wheat has no gluten. LOL, my mom is a James Beard Award winning chef. Finally, they admitted they had sent the wrong plate to our table. Why they didn’t just say this from the start is something I will never understand. These people, this establishment, this five star hotel, would rather brazenly endanger a person’s health than admit they made a mistake and take accountability for it. That, to me, is not just a simple service mistake, but a matter of humanity. If we hadn’t noticed, inquired, and pressed the issue, they would’ve let us eat the dish knowing one of us was allergic. Their response and apologies were insincere, and considering it wasn’t the only time in the span of less than 6 hours this had happened, they could no longer even say they would make sure we had a good experience with no more mishaps. The only thing they offered in terms of compensation were massages at the spa in very specific time slots. But they were missing the point, we didn’t want massages or free wine at dinner, we wanted for them to acknowledge that they had endangered our health and take the matter seriously. I emailed the person in charge of reservations hoping for a better response, but they didn’t even bother answering. No one came to see how we were or acknowledged the situation at checkout. They charged us $1,000 for a night where they consciously tried to make a person severely ill. Because I am also a Chilean citizen, I will be filing a report with the consumer bureau, SERNAC. The only reason I am taking time out of my day to write this is because people should be warned that this place is not safe and they will not take your health seriously.

We were unable to get a room at the hotel so thought it would be nice to go for lunch one of our days in Patagonia. During our 45 minute walk there it started to rain. When we arrived around 13:30 the front desk clerk promptly told us we could not go to the restaurant for lunch. As it was raining we asked him if he could call us a taxi. He said was too busy at the moment - there was no one in the lobby. He asked us if we would like to visit the museum. We thought that was a nice offer. Then he told us the entrance fee was 20,000. We paid the fee. He then told us we would have to wait as there were 2 other guests in the museum and he didn’t want us to crowd them. Thank you but no thank you. I understand if a hotel/resort restaurant is closed to outside visitors. What I cannot understand is rudeness of a clerk in the hospitality industry to a traveller. If this is the way Singular Hotels treat people I will never ever stay at any of their locations in the future.

We were told about this restaurant by our hosts (we stayed a few minutes away). The outside is unassuming, you wouldn't dream what you will find. The location of the hotel is by the water and the restaurant is down a few steps, hidden. It's a gem! The service is wonderful.. beyond exemplary: incredibly friendly but absolutely professional. We fell in love with the staff and very much at home. The food was delicious, the atmosphere luxurious. Don't miss it!
