Rooms with coolers were available. We stayed in a double bedroom for 4 people and it was on 1st floor. Rooms for 2 people with lift were available at the Ashram entry. Rooms with AC were all occupied (as per the reservation manager). Room cleanliness: 4/5 Bedsheets and pillows: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Cool Drinkable water was available downstairs. Asharam has a Ghat which had very few people and we enjoyed taking a dip in Holy Ganga and relaxed with no hurry. Car parking is on the street within the ashram premises.

I love the ambience of the Ashram and people are very sweet and cooperative. Rooms are good and food is also wonderful. Love the place as it's very user friendly and to be honest pocket friendly.

Very pleasant atmosphere and big rooms with all basic amenities. There is ganga running at other end of the campus and ghats could be accessed through Eastern doors.Water is available 24×7 both drinking and domestic use.Ample car parking space and a big garden to make you feel at space.There is a free of cost food seva * Langar) in afternoon and evening. Only disadvantage is that outside food not allowed in the rooms but it's amidst market hence many good hotels and restaurants around.

OMG! This is a scenic heavenly looking place with the least crowd, unlike the rest of Haridwar. This is a spot where you find the peace and solace you look for and the view of clear pristine Ganga. Its pastel colored rocky banks soothes your eyes, its ripples soothes your ears and the cold breeze soothes your senses. It’s a very photogenic place for photographers and who loves to take good portraits with a calming backdrop. Here the water is clear and you can see the river bed very clearly.

A very good location for stay. If you want a place to stay outside the hussle of city this is a gem place. We stayed in 4 bedded 2 room kutia. It was an awesome stay. Everyone loved it. There is a private ghat near Maa Ganga, with is hardly 200mtr in walking distance. You can enjoy the morning sunrise. It's better to book the kutia before visiting but as I have seen there is no such rush so generally kutia is available. Rooms are not as clean as hotels but it is good. Better ask for new buildings. These are good.

For the first time have chosen to stay in ashram in haridwar and not in hotel. It was the best decision, so beautiful Ashram and it's territory. We started in separate kutiya and so peacefully spend time there, waking up while hearing morning Puja sound and birds.

Neat and clean, lots of mango trees and accomodation in seperate kutir apartments, plenty of parking. Located at the place where Sapt-Rishis worshiped -no where on world this location can be replicated. Have their own Ghat on Ganga, neat and clean to bathe. Has canteen for food, many places for eating, Famous Bharat Mata mandir is 5 min walk. Honestly much beyond my expectations of an Ashram. Plus bonus- it also has a naturopathy clinic.

Office staff behavior very rude and show attitude. They don't know how to talk to people. There is no clarity how much room charge against each category, it should be transparent so that visitor aware and office people are not ask over price. As per office staff minimum charges Rs 4100/day more than Hotel charges. Owner / chairperson please look such issue otherwise vistor avoid take this. As I am aware Jai Ram one of the best ashram in Haridwar.

Whenever we go to Haridwar, we mostly stay in this ashram due to its awesome-freakingly great garden and flowers. Two rooms and two washroom makes it complete. Plus an extra bed. Great place for photo session and to show your inner photography skills.

This Ashram is very very beautiful . They maintain hygiene & decipline in a very good way. If you want to visit haridwar then you must try this ashram . It is situated near the haridwar railway station. You will be able to enjoy beautiful view of the Ganga right from your window . Rooms are big .Also this ashram has a wonderful temple inside , try to attend their sandhya araati , it was so peaceful. But their food wasn't up to the mark .

I would really recommend this as a great place to stay at Haridwar at reasonable price. Clean rooms and bathrooms. It has a new and an old building. The old building has a Ganga Ghat of its own. It is very close to the Vishnu and Har Ki Pauri Ghats and also the market place. Although one thing is to be kept in mind that is the timing to get inside the Ashram is 10:00 p.m. It is easily accessible from the Haridwar Railway Station.

I was recently there from 13/2/2025 untill 29/2 to make the celebration of Mahashivaratri and i followed as a gift the Siva Sutra classes teached by Ganga. And it was an amazing experience. It does not need many words as i said. Also the two sisters Gangotri and Mandakini are beautifull souls. Abeautifull holy place magic garden, where they plant there owm vegi's. It is difficult to describe with words this place, like you cannot describe spirituality. We were here just 8 days, I would like to return and stay some months. The Ayurveda consultation was astonishing.

This place is a gem! Free of the commercialized yoga word, this ashram is an authentic and holy place. When you enter that gate, you feel it!

I went to this surreal and mesmerizing Ashram in the last week of December 2021. My experience here has expanded and further awakened my consciousness to a higher level. The vibrations and positive energy this Ashram oozes and especially from the people here is unbelievable. Gangaji, Alaknandaji, Mandakiniji and Rudraksh are some of the finest people you will ever meet in the whole wide world and they embody the characteristics and qualities that God had intended for us and would want his children to embrace and live with. Even the 4 pet dogs have this aura around them. I guess this place does it to you! I spent much time meditating, doing yoga and having deep spiritual and interesting conversations with them. And I cant be grateful enough for the opportunity to experience supreme bliss at this Ashram. The Ashram is located in a very quiet and peaceful part of Haridwar. There is a forest outside the Ashram with Mother Ganga flowing next to it. Sunrises are spectacular from this location in the forest on the banks of Gangaji. You can go for walks or runs and feel fully energised. And I have to say I was so happy to be welcome with warmth and gratitude at the Ashram. This Ashram follows the tenets of the traditional Ashrams that used to be the cornerstone of Indian culture and life for thousands of year. To experience the real Ashram life and to connect with your inner being, consciousness and the Universe, look no further and DO VISIT this place. You will be very thankful as I am. And I will be going back again and again! And there are no Covid related health issues here. It is completely safe for anyone wishing to take a break from their everyday life and experience bliss.

Surrounded by nature, close to the Ganga, this beautiful Ashram and the accommodation is a bliss to stay. I did the third month of the teacher training (200hr) and I can highly recommend it. The teacher training goes into the depth of what authentic yoga is. So much more deeper than 'only' asana's. What I learned here about purifying, pranayama, asana's, sanskriet, mantra's, Ayurveda, yoga philosophy (old scriptures, as Bhagavad Gītā and Patanjali), and many more, I will cherish the rest of my life. The YogAnga hatha yoga sequence you learn here, is so complete and behind everything, there is a deeper layer. The connection with and the respect for, the nature during the training made it perfect for me. Ganga, Mandakini and Gangotri are born yogi's, giving in a passionate way their teachings, and it was an honor to learn from them. Their life stories (and about their parents) inspires so much. It's a great opportunity to do a teacher training in an environment like this, joining the ashram-life, in a place that breathes yoga and spirituality. The Sri Santosh Puri Ashram feels like home, the Ayurvedic food is delicious, and I can't wait to join another month of teacher training!

It was a wonderful experience to stay at Shree Vyas Ashram. Very quite, peaceful and beautiful environment. The best thing is to attend the Aarti (Morning & EveningPrayer), not to miss. The kitchen facilities are awesome 👌. Priests and staff were very humble and supportive(Thanks to all, V. Prabhu took care of us at most). The only thing that needs improvement is the rooms moisture/mold. Overall, it's a divinity staying.

Awesome and peaceful place. Navgrah Temple, Sun Temple and Maharshi Vyas Temple all are situated inside this campus. Private Ganga Ghat is here where you can feed to fish. Meditation can be done here.

We went there after Har ki Dun trek and relaxed in ambience of Vyas Ashram. Very well maintained greenery and floral garden. Satvik food and calmness all around. Beautiful temple of Vedvyasa and Kashi math swamiji. Worth visiting and staying for couple of days to calm your nerves.

Wonderful little green spiritual den in a dirty and bustling area, only if the locals took better care of the area would I have recommended this place better. Free food during the stay was also a good addition, mostly open to GSBs. The place lacks enough demand for round the year accomodation and hence might not be sustainable in the long run. Worth a visit, but probably better facilities are available elsewhere for stay and accessibility purposes.

Excellent place. Very auspicious as we can experience pious temple of Sri Vedavyas. Clean, hygienic rooms with clean bedding, toilet. Auspicious Bhagavatha discourse are conducted every day. Ganga snan is sacred and safe here as it has private Ghat. Cleanliness and sanctity maintained perfectly. Every day pooja, Gangarthi, annadana done punctually with great service mindedness. The vrindavan of Srimad Sudheendra Thirtha Swamiji of Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan is the temple complex. There is a beautiful garden with various plants that add the beauty to the place. The staff are very helpful and hospitable.

Food was very tasty best food but cleanliness to be maintained specially bathroom and toilet it is about my room when we stayed. Manager was good staff was serving food with love and care. Fasting food swas served on Ekadashi that is plus point. I would recommend go for it. Thank you.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS!! Who are the fools who’ve given 4/5 stars? It’s a pathetic place to stay in. Poor and unhygienic conditions. Poor rooms, untidy and poorly maintained washroom, mosquitoes all over the room and washroom, no maintenance of paint, hygiene etc below average bed. We had to sleep in the car itne mosquitoes the. Mat jana bhai log, scam hai! They charge ₹800 and it’s not even worth ₹400!

The only room that I saw was dingy and dark. Maintenance was poor. Service at front desk was tardy. Nevertheless, since it's an "Ashram" this kind of deficiencies are quite common in such kind of setups!

For staying overnight and then next morning you can start early. 1 room set sleep 4 and rooms are very neat and classic. The restaurant outside serves tasty food and the price is also normal. Dine in space is for max 20 at a time. The natural environment gives great vibes near Ganga.

When you're in a Dharmshala you can't expect service like hotels, but it was clean and fair enough. They have power backup, which was life savinf in the heat of May.

Not vert good place to eat. Average food and keeping the quality in mind, the prices are high. This is near pawan dham so for many people it is convenient but there are many eateries outside. Paneer and dal were good but the rotis was really bad.

Pawan dham provides rooms where you can stay when you are visiting haridwar. The rooms are good. They provides small four beds in one room and the charges are also reasonable. The restaurant is next to the dham where you can find good quality food. There are two temples also formes near this. There is sheesh temple where you can find everything made of glass.

Ma anandmayi Ashram is Great place to visit in Haridwar Kankhal. There is a Samadhi Mandir of Maa where you can sit in the hall and meditate and pray and there is also a store where you can find books and many other things about Maa like photographs, mala, idol, dhoti, bracelet and many more things. Also there is general Hall which is open for all day. A very beautiful Aarti is performed in the Samadhi Temple.

Discriminated Ashram....Is it really a Social Service... Please don't do fake service in the name of God . The worst Ashram I have ever experienced with my family. I have visited Somnath,dwarika,shantikunj, madhavanand ashram....but never disgusted and disturbed. I have always loved Gujarati Tradition but here is what I got...a discrimination of being Non Gujarati. If you are not allowing non Gujarati Family ,then Why the hell are you guys operating In different state....Go to your state...I felt insulted and my family felt insulted. There were two guys one was asking about my state and the other was asking am I Gujarati or not. Shame on you guys.... Shanti Kunj always welcomes everyone not like you guys....You don't deserve to operate in the place of Dev.....Go to your state...now..

This is one of the best places to stay with family and friends in Haridwar, but make sure to book this before you visit. Ideal time is before 4 months as they insisted on us. We just went there, but there was katha going on for a week, so it was completely full. But we had lunch there and it was good. A typical food with homely taste. we checked rooms also and those were nice. so make sure before you book and also check for the exect phone number so you can book it.

Anyone can be room booking on the kutchi ashram we can before 2 months . My best comment in kutchi ashram is one of the best foods in breakfasts, lunch and dinner only in 50 rupees per time. Kutchi ashram in the room booking eating is free in anytime Kutchi ashram room rate par day only 500 rupees with eating is free 3 times . Morning, afternoon and evening.

Excellent Ashram to stay in Haridwar. It has private ghat, excellent spacious rooms, serene atmosphere and easily accessible approach. The restaurant gives simple and best food at very reasonable rates. The staff is polite and cares for guests. Room layout is impressive. Has beautiful ashrams nearby, having wonderful architecture and design as well as worship places. Good place for Yoga and meditation.

The Ashram has extremely basic infrastructure with no room service, no television, no intercom and obviously no wifi. But it has a private ghat down a flight of stairs at a distance of about 200 meters, where one can take a bath in the holy river. Parking is at a distance, so luggage needs to be unloaded before the vehicle is sent for parking. The inhouse canteen is ill equipped, understaffed and very basic. There are very few options among dishes and the service is quite tardy. We had booked two rooms for two nights but shifted to a hotel after one night.

The personal ganga ghat and Ganga aarti of every evening is altogether different experience. Being a religious place haridwar is very crowded and commercialized too, but ganga aarti at ghat linked to parmarth ashram is totally disconnected from this clutter. I'll go again n again to this place for sure... It's different level of peace of mind n calmness you will get there

The beds in the Room had bugs, cupboards had a lot of moisture and the bathrooms were untidy. Lack of maintenance. The price for the room is not worth the experience

Located on left bank of river Ganga has a beautiful Ghat. Has budget as well as deluxe rooms which may be booked in advance online. Has free parking & a good veg restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. One can go for naturopathy treatment or learn Yoga on payment. Best part is beautiful evening Arti & Bhajans sung by young students of Ashram.

Amazing place, rooms were very clean (they have clean and well maintained functional bathrooms) and staff was super supportive and helpful everyone was really nice, the place feels very secure and great for families. It is well connected, it is walking distance to many points and you can also get an auto from right outside, we stayed for three days and would definitely come back if I visit haridwar again. It's a great place would recommend.

Nice place to stay here in a homely atmosphere with some nominal charges of just ₹600 per night for a double occupancy room with attached bathroom. Location is also nice. You can easily get to the Ghats ( river banks) of Maa Ganga from here.

This place is not recommended at all. Although the rooms are & cheap but they organise religious events with loud speakers in ni8 & that will keep you awake the whole night. Additionally beds are full of bugs , the washroom is not clean, and the room does not get clean after check outs. They don't inform about the religious events in advance. If you want to take some rest do not book here.

"I really liked this place." A huge property of 180 rooms big and small on the way to shanti kunj on Dehradun highway. Ample parking space, two huge halls for religious functions. AC Cooler & simple rooms to choose from. Rooms itself are big in size with 2-3-4 bed options with attached lat bath facility. Cleanliness is on top priority both inside and outside the room. Beautiful parks, and temples add to its value. Staff is helpful. There is peace. And the cherry on top is that they have an attached restaurant which serves delicious food really tasty. Someone looking for a calm and relaxing stay outside the city in cheaper prices can go for it.

The secreat of beauty of this place is it's geographical location .The Jairam ashram lies on the bank of river Ganga and bounded by the mountains on the other side . The evening are very fascinating for the visitors specially the Ganga aarti . Other than that the place has huge infra structure with all facility at a very nominal rate.

It is a project by Swami Bhumanand bhakt and a religious place with a number of small temples inside, suitable for family, kids etc. Very beautiful architecture, idols of various events in Ramayan, Mahabharat, Chardham visits etc. Outside entry is through a Kalash and inside is a beautiful scene of Lord Shiva with Ganga entry on the earth with Bhagiratha efforts. Mobile is allowed after entry ticket for mobile otherwise general entry is free.

Place is really good with some great jhankis but is not very well maintained. The sculptures and the jhankis have turned faded and old. It is not very well maintained. For religious person and some photography freaks, this place can ve very interesting. They also charge you for taking photographs. We were charged Rs 31 for two mobile cameras. The behaviour of the person at the counter and the staffs here are also not very good. Overall you can enjoy here as some jhankis are good. This is also a peaceful place to be. We went there at the day time so it was not very crowded.

I still remember those days when I was a kid and I used to visit there every Wednesday on "humara Bajaj "scooter. Adjacent to this Temple, there are many ashrams and temples with beautiful scenery depicting hindu mythology . This temple also has many small exhibitions some of them are electrically mechanised like Krishna is eating (mouth of idol is motorized which is periodically opening and closing). Opposite to this temple, there is a beautiful ghat and you can enjoy your winter noon and summer evenings there. Superb place to visit. Just cross the bridge, take a right turn n find the way down to river ganga. There is nothing there, no shop, no nothing. Just see the clear water flowing, feel the cool breeze on ur face, sit down n just be with the nature n mother ganga. U will not feel like going away.

We were in Haridwar on a vacation tour, and that is when we visited the Bhimgoda barrage. The best part was that we got to visit this at Night, and the experience was altogether different seeing this at Night. The reservoir in itself is vast and is also used for hydroelectricity generation. However, the sheer force of water that you can experience at the actual control point is terrifying. Though at Night, we got tons of clear pictures of the entire barrage road, and also, though chilly, it was a surreal experience to see the entire reservoir filled to the brim. I suggest a must-visit place. And visit the barrage and the control point at Night to have an altogether different experience.

early morning view is worth watching, beautiful. the view and environment is great at wvery second .. plus the music created by the flow of water is awesome. i would encourage for early morning walk over there. it feels heavenly.....must take a walk ...loved it ...... Bike ride makes it more better ....

I had a lovely stay at Patanjali Yogpeeth phase 1. The ambience, infrastructure and environment is clean, green and pleasant. People are polite and helpful. All the facilities are available inside the campus. The guest house rooms are neat and tidy. Food in Annapurna building is simple and nutritious. The greenery in the environment keeps the mind fresh and the beautiful, colorful flowers in the parks bring peace to mind. The campus is so big and has many buildings, and has Paridhan, a mall inside it too for the visitors. Overall a superb place!🤩

Visited this place during visit to Haridwar. It is in the highway connecting Delhi. This massive area has Patanjali superstore, Ayurvedic hospital , canteen, herbal medicine production unit. We had our breakfast in the canteen. Food was fine but price was as a standard hotel not like some religious organization. overall area was clean and esthetically pleasing.

I had an excellent experience at Chandigarh Bhawan! The place is well-maintained, comfortable, and offers great hospitality. Everything was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. A special thanks to Naman Sir for his exceptional help and support. He was extremely polite, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. His guidance truly made my visit pleasant and hassle-free.

This place is approx 15-20 mins away from Haridwar railway station. Auto charges around Rs 400-500. Rooms and over all environment is good. Staff is friendly.

I have been to Haridwar twice with my family. And both the times I have stayed at Chandigarh Bhawan. The rooms here are very good and the cleanliness is also very good. The food served in the canteen is also very good.

It is a century-old state govt. ayurvedic college founded by renowned reformer Madan Mohan Malaviya. Several courses on Ayurveda are being taught here. The campus is peaceful and soothing as so many herbal plants offer natural green and sheds here!!

Oldest ayurvedic hospital went there for my cold and sneeze but the junior doctor took all the health history but main doctor didn't even touch or saw my nose and just wrote otrivin for the cold just waste of time.

I have all good things to cite about this place. Had a really comfortable stay. Rooms are AC and ther are three categories of rooms, double, triple and rooms with two double bed which can accomodate four people. Rates are affordable. The food in the canteen/mess inside is homely, hygenic, without onion and garlic and wonderfully tasty. Highly reccommended. Contact their reception for bookings either through phone or walk in.

I recently stayed at the Haridwar Maharaja Agrasen Ashram & Dharamshala and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being registered as a Dharamshala, they charge prices equivalent to a hotel room, which sets certain expectations regarding the quality of service and amenities. However, the reality was disappointing. There was no proper electricity supply, and the backup system was unreliable at best. The AC units in the rooms were more than 10 years old and not functioning, making the stay uncomfortable, especially during the hotter parts of the day. When I raised these concerns with the staff, their response was shockingly unprofessional. They behaved very rudely and even resorted to abusive language, which is completely unacceptable in any hospitality setting. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. It's disheartening to see such poor service and maintenance at a place that charges hotel-level rates.

The ashram has recently renovated rooms, offering a more comfortable stay for visitors. The food served is simple yet tasty. A ghat is just a 3 to 4-minute walk away, though it is not deep enough for a dip, and the water flow is quite strong. Har Ki Pauri is about a 10-minute ride by battery auto, while Maa Vaishno Mandir, Ram Mandir, and Bharat Mandir are within walking distance. Nearby, there is a bustling market perfect for window shopping and exploring the local culture. Visit Maharaja Agrasen Asharm to find inner peace and connect with nature. It is simple, disciplined, a place where one can escape the noise of the world and find calm.

A neutral rating to be very honest. if you're a student who is trying to explore Haridwar with friends then this ashram is a normal decent accommodation at rupees 750/- rs, there are other factors that apply though-- //CONS// * the rooms are not clean. * they aren't protected by a lock and you have to bring your own security. * the checkout timing is 8am sharp, if you exceed even by a minute they'll renew your booking. * the rooms and the bedsheets are dirty with days worth of webcobs and such. * water from your feet on the alley will piss the owner off even though his balcony literally opens up on the ghat. * no food service available in the residence * they ask (order) you to pay their staff 50/- rupees * you're bound by a deadline to enter the premises because they close the gates at 9 sharp. * if you're from another country and you're looking to smoke or partake in alcohol then it's restricted in the vicinity, and if you're Indian it's obvious because it's a holy city. //PROS// * you have a private ghar with barely any traffic. * good place if you want to meditate * great for photographers who want to click record Arti and ghat view. * just beside the ashram you get a good Arti show with minimum people around.

Ambiance is so peaceful. Ganga ghat inside ashram was neat and clean. Rules of ashram are very strict.

Location is good. Room maintenance is too bad as per room rent. Also ashram's rules are not satisfied me. They are forcely keep our original identity cards in their custody which are completely illegal.

Been there with family for 2 days in Sept 2018 and we enjoyed our stay. I liked couple of things. First, being in the bay of Ganga and the environment. Second, room was quite good and we five people got accommodated. well, you will not find the room ambience like a hotel but its like a normal house (ashram suppose to be like that). Third, Fair pricing and budget friendly with a bonus of great location. Trustee mr pandy ji is a very straight forward person and personally i liked him after having a nice conversation. overall a great stay and strongly recommend to this place.

Nice place to stay at low prices, and for large public.

I recently stayed at Sant Mandal Ashram booked through Yatra Dham and had a disappointing experience. Despite booking a two-bedroom room with a cooler, I was given a room on the 4th floor, which was inconvenient for my 70-year-old mother. Additionally, the room provided was near a kitchen ventilation area, causing persistent coughing throughout the night. The service did not match what was promised, and the overall experience was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend Yatra Dham based on this experience. Improvements are needed in both the booking process and customer service to avoid such issues in the future

It is a very good dharamshala having a parking facility. Rooms are good. One can book a room with family only, no single booking is not allowed.

Very fine accommodation

This Ashram is not a decent one to stay. I booked two three bedded AC rooms for two days. They charged me rs 1300/- per room per night. i.e. Rs. 5200/-. 😢 The AC rooms were stinking like a hell with very rotten blankets and dirty bedsheets. The irony is that during this (first week of July) off season even hotels were providing best rooms quite cheaper than this. If you want to enjoy this holy place then better stay at a hotel. Or you can explore other places like Punjab and Sind Kshetra , they have their own hues parking area unlike Sant Mandal Ashram.

It was not that good.. The room was for 475 online..But later on I though it was not a good deal you can find more rooms even near hari ki pauri ghat without booking online... But no idea about the availability in festivals or peaks days related to spiritual festivals Lord Shiva..

Stayed there for overnight and found it good. It has parking facility also inside for around 10 cars which is sufficient in normal days.

This ashram is located just outside the high rush area of Haridwar towards Rishikesh and is very spacious. There are some 100 rooms of various categories apart from some temples, two gardens along with parking space for your car. The place is guarded by its own guards.

There is frequent power cut. AC room remained non-ac through out night because there was no power and only fans were working on backup.Although, rooms are clean but there is issue with power and we were awake whole night due to hot temperature and AC not running on backup.

Pathetic service owners are very rude not provide any facilities, we need more blanket the lady owner rudely deny. We were going to attend Ganga Arti in the early morning and they locked the main gate when we asked to open the gate the lady owner said do not disturbe be our sleep we open the main gate @ 6AM only, no food available in the hotel and overall experience is so bad n rude do not book this guest house not recommended as per my experience. Thank you.

Shri Ramanand Ashram in Haridwar is located in Shravan Nath Nagar which is near the railway station. This is the important ashram in the Ramanand Sampraday. The current chief of the Ashram is Mahant Bhagwan Das. Shri Ramanand Swami was born to a Brahmin family and is considered to be the incarnation of Uddavji who was a very close friend of Lord Shri Krishna. Uddhav Sampradhay was founded and headed by Shri Ramanand Swami. He adopted the Vishishtadvaita doctrine of vaishnavas that was advocated by Shri Ramanuja, a Vaishnavite saint. It is also believed that during his visit to Sri Rangam in his early life Shri Ramanand Swami was given “diksha” by Shri Ramanuja and has appointed him as an acharya in his line. After which he travelled north to Kathiyavad and started spreading his philosophy. In 1802, before his death he passed the Uddhav Sampraday to Swaminarayan. From Purusharthi Market near the Haridward Railway Junction, head towards Haridwar Main Road at the south-east Pass by Sabharwal Railway Tickets.
