Crisol Restaurant and Lounge in University City offers a unique American fusion dining experience, combining diverse ingredients to create one-of-a-kind dishes. The restaurant's ambiance is upscale and impressive, with dark wood accents and elegant lighting. Known for its continental breakfast options, including croissants, French toast, pancakes, waffles, cornflakes babka, and oatmeal. Additionally, it serves modernized Tex-Mex fast food and is a popular choice for breakfast in Sharjah.
. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a memorable meal with friends, Crisol is a five-star choice in every way.

Celebrated pre valentines day last month with friends and totally enjoyed our time. Food were very well presented and tasted great. Ambiance inside the restaurant was also good (though a little dark as per one of my friend). Also, the staffs were very friendly and accommodating.
Jhanine S — Google review
Staff are very friendly. Service is great. BUT, food is less than alright, AND it is EXPENSIVE. I wasn’t happy with the fries that my friend and I ordered. I have asked the waiter if they were snap frozen and he said yes, which made the fries very soggy and moist to eat, however the spices and sauces were great. We also ordered Dynamite Chicken sliders, the chicken patty is so thin, you can barely taste any chicken in it, very poor quality. Presentations are great, but taste is missing. I have complained face to face to many of the staff in a very nice way without being mean because I am not like that, hoping for some action to be taken or at least for an apology for the horrendous food quality, but did not get any. Not worth the money you spend on food. But drinks are great :) I don’t recommend you wasting money on their food.
Reem A — Google review
Just a note to thank you and your staff for a very lovely evening – the food was exceptional and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was awesome, perfect soft music and I definitely liked that you have very modern style. Worth coming all the way from Dubai. We will make sure we come again!!!!!!!!

Crisol is a cozy restaurant, quite nice to have lunch with your family, enjoyed my time there you can select a different variety of food salads, appetisers, meals & deserts loved the melted chocolate over the ice cream cake, kids will love the mini burgers, the food tastes really good. Visited the place another time this time git the Vegas burger 🍔 its delicious, have you ever Tried the spicy corn sticks, it's amazing however we ordered it not spicy and sweet potato fries
Fady E — Google review
Very good quality and service. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it. Prices were on the expensive side though. The variety of options is good, however, I feel that there is room for more. Generally, good experience, had a good time there.
Ahmad A — Google review
Impressed by the place as a whole. I'm a fan of the interior. I tried 2 burgers and they were enough to make me curious to try their other dishes as well. The black gold burger would be perfect in my books if it weren't for the small size. I understand its wagyu beef, but I would've made it bigger than the other burgers to persuade customers to go for the more expensive option. It was really good. I haven't described a food as "powerful" before but this one was. I tried another burger because I didn't feel full and didn't want to pay 38 dhs for fries, so I paid 47 for their tornado burger, which was also great but naturally not as delicious as the black gold. I wanted to give the restaurant 4 stars because I wanted them to consider either lowering the price of the black gold burger or making it larger, but I liked the fact the restaurant gave options at different prices (there's a 3rd burger priced at around 37 dhs). I do hope they consider modifying this burger though, without changing the taste or ingredients. I'll probably try steak another time or perhaps some other best-selling dish here. Staff are nice, too. Wagyu eggs Benedict was alright 🤷‍♂️ not too good, not too bad... Didn't really taste the beef that well, and it was relatively small in size. Tried their fried chicken burger. It was surprisingly good, thought I'd like it a bit less oily. Tried their ribeye steak, didn't like it that much. It's acceptable but definitely not worth 135 dhs. Didn't like the chimichurri sauce it came with either. If you decide to get a ribeye steak, make sure to ask for it without this sauce. Instagram: @HouseoFlavour (House o' Flavour)

Pakistani restaurant
Najmat Lahore Restaurant is a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking the rich flavors of South Asian cuisine. Located on Al Meena Road, this restaurant specializes in Mughlai dishes, with a particular emphasis on biryani. From fish biryani to kebab biryani and chicken tikka biryani, their menu offers a delightful range of options. Using fresh ingredients and featuring a live kitchen, Najmat Lahore brings the aromatic flavors of Pakistan straight to your table.
Test of the food good, but prices are bit high The cost of each item may be perceived as relatively expensive. The falood, in particular, was quite delightful and enjoyable to consume. Overall, the dining experience provided a good balance of flavors. Perhaps future adjustments to pricing could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Najmath Lahore Restaurant is located in Sharjah (Rolla area - next to the Sharjah bird market ) has gathered a good reputation for offering authentic Pakistani cuisine. The restaurant has a family-friendly environment, suitable for both casual dining and for special occasions. Najmath Lahore Restaurant is known for its delicious and flavorful dishes,Some of the standout items on the menu include BBQ Platter,Biryani,Karahi and Nihari.Desserts like Gulab Jamun and Khoya Kulfi are a great way to end the meal. The staff is generally friendly and efficient. The Prices are considered reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered.

Hello, uae. I hope you all are fine. We visited yesterday this restaurant for lunch. We found the taste of foods was delicious and yummy. Environment was good 👍. But they should need to be work on their services it was very slow. Overall they are doing very well and I recommend to visit them if you want to get yummy food. Thanks

We visited this restaurant in Sharjah from Dubai after seeing a reel on Instagram about their matka falooda. The matka falooda was delicious, and we enjoyed every bit of it. However, the service needs improvement—they should pay more attention to customer order. If they are giving token so they should follow the queue as per token.

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Lahori Flavors! Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff were more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed. Whether you're already familiar with Pakistani food or trying it for the first time, Najmat Lahore delivers an experience that’s both authentic and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates real flavor and genuine hospitality. Will definitely be returning!
RSMS — Google review
I recently visited a Pakistani restaurant and wanted to share my honest experience. First of all, I was not satisfied with the food quality, especially the chicken karhai. The taste was not very good, just average, and the quantity was very small. I paid 21 AED for the chicken karhai, but the portion was too less. For this price, I expected more food. I have eaten in many restaurants in the UAE, and I know how much food is usually served for 20 to 25 AED. In most other places, the quantity is better, and the taste is also much improved. Here, they didn’t even provide basic things like raita or salad as complimentary items. If you ask for them, they will charge extra. That felt a bit unfair because in most Pakistani restaurants, raita and salad are given for free with the meal. When I ordered the chicken karhai, I was expecting a good portion with side items, but I was disappointed. The curry didn’t have rich spices or a fresh taste. It felt like something was missing in the flavor. The meat pieces were also very small and not enough for one person to feel full. It looked like the restaurant is cutting down the quantity to save cost but charging more. That’s not a good practice because customers come for value and taste. On the other hand, I tried the falooda, and that was the only thing I liked. The falooda had the true Pakistani taste. It reminded me of the falooda we eat in Pakistan. It was sweet, fresh, and delicious, with good ingredients. If you visit this restaurant, I would suggest trying only the falooda. It is worth the price and gives you the taste you expect. The service was okay, nothing special. The staff was polite but not very friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also average. It was not very clean, and the tables needed more attention. I think the owners should focus more on improving food quality, quantity, and service. In a place like the UAE, where so many restaurants offer great food at affordable prices, you must provide something special to stand out. Just increasing prices and reducing portions is not a smart move because customers notice these things. When I spend 20 AED, I expect to feel full and happy with the taste. This restaurant didn’t give me that feeling. Only the falooda made me smile. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience, and I don’t think I will visit again for the main dishes. However, if I’m in the area and feel like having a good dessert, I might stop by just for the falooda. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and works on improving. Good taste, fair prices, and decent quantity are all important for customer satisfaction. Otherwise, people will look for better options elsewhere. That’s my honest review, and I hope it helps others make the right choice before visiting.

We went there all the way from Dubai at night specifically to try their famous Matka Faluda. First of all, it tasted worse than third-class. There was no real Faluda flavor, and it was melted. The ice cream tasted cheap, like the kind you get on supermarket promotions. It might look appealing in videos, but in reality, it’s a total waste of money and completely overhyped. I genuinely don't understand why people rave about this tasteless Faluda. We ordered 8 Matka Faludas, couldn’t even finish them, and just left them there. Secondly, the service was disappointing. We sat in the outdoor seating area and placed an order with the waiter for 8 Matka Faludas. He told us we had to pay first at the counter, which already felt strange. After paying, we waited for 15 minutes and then asked the waiter about our order. He responded, “Did you pay?” When we said yes, he told us we needed to give him the receipt before they could start preparing the order. I was shocked. Why didn’t he or the cashier inform us about this process? It was incredibly frustrating, especially after travelling all the way to Sharjah through traffic. We ended up wasting fuel, time, and money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Aqib R — Google review
We ordered Thawa chicken, Ginger chicken & lamb chops. The food was good & served with a food warmer so that the entire meal was warm. The dessert however wasn't to our taste pallet.

Nestled in the vibrant city of Sharjah, Al Mashawi Al Halabya - Aleppo Grills is a culinary treasure that invites you to embark on a delightful gastronomic adventure. This casual eatery specializes in an array of Middle Eastern delights, with a particular emphasis on expertly grilled meats and traditional Syrian fare. As you step inside, the enticing aroma of spices envelops you, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
One of the best and authentic Syrian restaurants in Sharjah! Al Mashawi Al Halabya (Aleppo Grills) truly lives up to its reputation—every dish we tried was full of flavour and perfectly grilled/cooked. The grills are especially amazing, and you can really taste the quality and care in the food. The location is excellent and easy to find, though parking can be a bit tricky on weekends because it gets quite busy, but during weekdays it’s usually fine. The staff are friendly, polite, and always helpful. Highly recommended if you’re craving real Syrian food in a comfortable and welcoming setting!

I have no complaints about their food. It’s fresh and delicious. BUT THEY SERVE YOUR FOOD IN CHIPPED BOWLS AND PLATES!!! We insisted to have them changed and the server told us that all their dishes are broken and they can’t do anything. The cracked edges made it difficult for us to enjoy the good meal comfortably. Furthermore, the servers aren’t polite enough to manage our concern. Very unorganized and unprofessional. I would recommend the management to take these things into consideration as the customers’ dining should feel both safe and enjoyable. Unfortunately, won’t be dining with them again. 👎👎👎
Lucille M — Google review
Food Quality: The Syrian cuisine offered was described as good, suggesting a positive experience with the taste and variety. Dining Options: There were multiple appealing choices for Syrian food, indicating a well-curated menu or selection. Service Experience: The service did not meet expectations, pointing to issues such as staff attentiveness, speed, or overall hospitality.

I tried the large chicken shawarma at Al Mashawi Al Halabya, and it was absolutely delicious. The wrap was perfectly crispy on the outside, and the meat inside was juicy and full of flavor—unlike any shawarma I’ve had before. Being a Syrian restaurant, it had a unique and authentic taste that really stood out. Judging by the food and the many positive Google reviews, this place definitely seems like one of the best Syrian spots in town. Worth a visit if you’re into shawarma with a twist!
Shaheer M — Google review
This is the food I order here very very bad service. I ordered the water now. I’m leaving. Water is still didn’t come when I complain the food all the chicken is nasty inside and flirt. They said this is the way we cooked.

Foods are so tasty me and my friends like it so much but one thing bothered us about the quality of some snacks , we expect better quality it was oily and black holes
Zarnisuthet T — Google review
A Very Disappointing Experience I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience deserves attention. I came to dine at Mashawi El Halabiya only to be told rudely by their staff to “go away” because the parking “is not for you” even though I was a dining customer. It’s already extremely difficult to find parking in the area, and the restaurant has several reserved spaces. When I parked there and mentioned I was dining in, I was still told I couldn’t park. This is not how a reputable restaurant should treat its customers. It's not like it's the only restaurant out here... plenty of good ones around.. Good food alone isn’t enough when hospitality and respect are missing. It’s disappointing to see such an attitude toward paying customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning, and I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously..

The restaurant offers crispy and delicious falafel served with tahini sauce and pickles at an affordable price. It's an ideal spot for vegetarians and meat lovers alike, offering a variety of options on the menu.

I stumbled upon this place through Google and surely it was worth it. They have another branch in Sharjah (where I went couple of years back, without realizing this is part of the same place. They surely have some of the best Falafel Sandwiches. Everything inside was fresh and prices are very pocket friendly. I have tried their Normal Falafel Sandwiche, Hummus Falafel Sandwich and Cheese Zattar Manakesh. All are totally worth it. Staff is friendly and courteous. Reason for 4 star is because they don't have the same quality during peak hours 😁
DarshDXB — Google review
One of the best Syrian restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at. The falafel is crispy perfection, and they have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Their Manakish selection is impressive, with many mouth-watering options to try. The sandwiches are also good. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a night out or a casual meal.

Al Fanar Restaurant & Cafe - DFC is a popular dining spot that offers traditional Emirati cuisine in a stylish setting reminiscent of 1960s Dubai. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring Emirati rice and meat feasts, breakfast dishes, snacks, and desserts. The rustic interior with traditional wind tower designs, vintage lanterns, and life-size Bedouin statues adds to the authentic Arabian dining experience.
Wow! This is the best food I have had in Dubai so far. The meal tasted and looked like home made and was delicious. The spicing was quite balanced. I went for mutton stew with rice and it was amazing. The service was brilliant. I was looked after by a lovely chap called Mani. Thank you Mani for the recommendation. They have a lot of nice things on the menu, I need to explore them on my next visits.

The food was incredible — perfectly grilled kebabs, juicy and flavorful, paired with fresh salad, crisp fries, and warm bread. Everything tasted authentic and beautifully presented, just like a true Emirati feast. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, with that warm wooden setting that makes you feel at home. You can tell the team takes real pride in what they serve — everything looked and tasted freshly made. A special shout-out to Sayed, who was genuinely one of the best staff members we’ve met in Dubai. Friendly, attentive, and always smiling — he made sure our table had everything we needed and went the extra mile to make our experience perfect. Highly recommend Al Fanar for anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and truly memorable service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

“This is a good restaurant with a pleasant Arabian atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. The food was delicious — we had kebab and another Arabian dish (I can’t remember the name), served beautifully on a large tray. What makes it unique is that in the middle of a modern mall, you can still experience a traditional, old-style atmosphere, which feels very different and special. The prices are a bit high, but overall it was a great experience. I definitely recommend it.”

First time taking our parents to try Emirati food. It was a great experience and really showed the culture and taste of the UAE. The restaurant looks very traditional and has a warm, welcoming vibe. It feels like going back in time. The food was tasty, full of flavour, and nicely presented. I personally love Arabic food, so I really enjoyed it. If you want to see how Emiratis eat and enjoy local culture, you should visit Al Fanar. Highly recommended!

I try the Emirati food, pleasant but not exceptional. The sombousa and the fish kafta were really good. I was a bit disappointed by the rice machboos with the lamb, the rice was not as perfume and tasty as expected

Scrumptious Emirati cuisine in a beautiful cultural setting of a courtyard of a local family. A wide range of starters, mains and desserts. The biryani rice and chicken and grilled squids we had were amazingly tasty, full of flavour. Service was very good and Sayed who attended to our table was welcoming, respectful and efficient.

Good service by Praveen. Food was really bad. I’ve been to the barsha pond park branch and I love arabic food but this was just bad. Ordered fish kofta (good), mix grill (meat was really chewy and some chicken was undercooked) and grilled sea beam (okay but some parts inside were not cooked at all and outside a bit burnt). For sweets we had luqaimat, really dense and chewy instead of soft and juicy.

Had dinner here yesterday and it was a great experience overall! ✅ Highlights: ✅ Spacious and calm atmosphere, spread over two floors plenty of seating. ✅ Very friendly and attentive staff. ✅ Food was delicious we ordered Mix Grill, rice, French fries, fresh orange juice, and fresh strawberry juice. ✅ Warm, fresh bread that was absolutely amazing. ⚠️ Room for improvement: Vegetables were cut into large pieces smaller cuts would make them easier to enjoy. 💰 Price: 156 AED for two people without deserts, which is fair for the quality and portion size. Would definitely come back for the food and the welcoming environment!

Overall good restaurant. They have a large variety on the menu, but are known for their shawarma. It’s in central Deira, so a very vibrant location. Parking is a bit difficult. We went for the boneless chicken, lambchops, and different kind of appartizers like; hommos, olive salade, garlic with spice, french fries. As a drink we took fruit juice. Would recommend it for families, price/quality is good. Spend 210 aed for two aduls and two children.

"We had a terrible experience at this super expensive restaurant! The taste wasn't suited for Indian palates, and the staff was unfriendly. We paid 770 AED for 7 people, and what really got us was the soft drink charges - they were triple the amount we expected! They served salads, which we thought were complimentary, but surprise, surprise, we had to pay for them too! It was supposed to be a treat for my family, but nobody enjoyed the food, and it didn't even fill us up. Honestly, not worth it. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

TGIF never disappoints! The food was flavorful and served hot—especially the ribs, which were tender and juicy. The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive without being intrusive. Staff made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Definitely a top spot for comfort food and great vibes.

From the moment we stepped into TGI Fridays, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that instantly set the tone for a wonderful evening. The ambiance was lively and inviting, making it the perfect place to celebrate a special Valentine’s date with my mom. A huge thank you to Ms. Heart, who went above and beyond to assist us throughout our meal. Her thoughtful suggestions truly enhanced our experience, and her genuine kindness made us feel so welcomed. It’s rare to find such attentive and passionate staff who take the time to ensure every guest has an unforgettable time. I also want to extend my appreciation to the amazing team—Lilian, Fathy, Maged, Calvin, kenei and Anika. Their energy, friendliness, and seamless service created a fantastic dining experience. It really felt like they were happy to have us there, and that positive energy made all the difference. Of course, a special thank you to the chef, who did an incredible job maintaining the high quality of the food. Every dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and served with care. Overall, TGI Fridays exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of great food, an amazing atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about their customers made our visit truly special. I American and my family live in Sharjah nearby. The burger I ordered was really, really good. I wanted to change the beef for grilled chicken, but they aren't Hard Rock Cafe or any other American restaurant that would oblige. I'm sure they stick strictly to the menu and recipes due to a lack of understanding and accommodation to improve customer morale. I sat for 30 mins, staring at Kaschup and a salt and pepper shaker, waiting for at least the drink I ordered. There is absolutely no vibe in this restaurant. The servers don't look happy at all. All and all I really enjoyed the burger and fries. It is expensive, though. They could work on the service for sure. Treat and pay the staff more I'd say and I'm sure they will be happier and more positive. Thanks in anycase for cooking a great burger. Try to please customers and make accommodations or options to menu items. If you do this customers will surely come back time and time again. like substituting chicken for beef or salad for fries etc.

Good place with nice food but we weren't told about the lunch deals that were available here despite asking the server, it should be informed before placing the order. It did cost more than it should have nevertheless the food was good.

Chinese restaurant
Katis Restaurant is a relaxed dining spot that offers a variety of Indo-Chinese dishes such as kati rolls, momos, and handi dum biryani. The restaurant is popular for its steamed momos, handi biryani, and kati rolls. Despite its basic interior, the focus at Katis is on the high-quality food and service. The motto 'excellence isn't a skill, but an attitude' reflects in their offerings.
When it comes to our all-time favorite spot in Sharjah, @katisrestaurant never disappoints! This time, we brought the whole family along for a feast, and it was nothing short of amazing! We started with crispy Chicken Spring Rolls and spicy Chicken Lollipops, a perfect crunch with just the right amount of heat. Then came the Variety of Momos Platter, stealing the show with juicy fillings and bold flavors! For the mains, we dived into a Mixed Grill Platter packed with smoky goodness, followed by the rich and flavorful Chicken Kadhai and the perfectly spiced Paneer Jalfrezi, Of course, no visit is complete without their signature Chicken Dum Biryani, bursting with aroma and melt-in-the-mouth tenderness. And because no meal is truly complete without dessert, we doubled the indulgence with Double the Meetha- a sweet ending to a perfect food journey! 🍯✨ If you’re in Sharjah and craving a mix of North Indian & Indo-Chinese flavors, Katis Restaurant is always a winning choice! Katis is a fantastic Indian restaurant, and without a doubt, one of the best Indian food restaurant in the UAE. We’re big fans of their Schezwan Momos, Biryani, and Garlic Naans — but to be honest, everything we’ve tried from their menu has been absolutely delicious. The food is consistently fresh, flavourful, and authentic. It’s rare to find a place where every dish impresses, but Katis never disappoints. If you’re into Indian cuisine — or even if you’re new to it — this place is a must-try. The sitting area is limited, so it’s more suited for takeaway, but the staff are incredibly polite and treat you like a king. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, and I’m not sure if they offer free parking. Highly recommended — one of the true hidden gems when it comes to Indian food in the UAE.

This is a hidden gem in Sharjah where I went to have Indian fusion food. It’s famous for its biryani and Momos. I tried their Dynamite and Butter chicken Momos, they were great. Also tried their kebabs and hydrabadi biryani, it was superb. There is no Indian restaurant in Al khan area of Sharjah. This place is simply great if you want to have quick snacks or a proper meal. Prices are also very reasonable. The taste is amazing.

I just ordered Butter Chicken and Naan from this restaurant , this is the worse butter chicken I’ve ever had , as you can tell even from the picture it’s all reddish color which tasted very bad , only tomato paste or what idk , no flavor of butter at all. Worst!!! Paid like 3.5 for a naan and 35 for butter chicken. The naan was good Don’t order from here , wasted my money and ruined my appetite.

We’ve been regular customers of Rainbow Steak House and have always enjoyed their buffet in the past. The food used to be delicious and full of flavor, which kept us coming back. Unfortunately, our recent visit was quite disappointing. The overall taste and quality of the buffet items have noticeably gone down. It just wasn’t up to the usual standard we’ve come to expect. Indian restaurant
Restaurant
Rajasthan Al Malaki is a popular restaurant located in an industrial area of Sharjah, known for serving one of the best Rajasthani thalis in the city. Despite its name, the restaurant offers great vegetarian cuisine alongside its Indian dishes. The menu features authentic Rajasthani specialties such as dahi vada, daal baati churma, and vegetable thali. Guests praise the warm hospitality from staff members like Ms. Happy, Mr. Ganpat Singh, and Mr.
This place is truly a well hidden gem! Found this place while on a day trip to sharjah. And is definitely one for the books, not only for its food but its hospitality and service. Such a friendly and interactive staff. It was a homely experience. The rajastani thali is for Dhs 35 and for kids its Dhs 18, all items are unlimited. And they serve it always with a downpour of Ghee. Uff, u have to be starving to eat here. There are so many items. The soya chaap was a family favourite, so soft cooked to perfection. The gravies were well seasoned and delicious. The rotis were the star of the show, soft fluffy and drenched in ghee. There was plain roti, methi paratha and bajra roti, all equally delicious. They also have like 3 types of desserts in the thali. Overall is was hearty meal at a homely environment ✨️

After trying this yesterday in Sharjah, I was quite disappointed. The taste wasn't special, and it certainly didn't feel worth the price. The ambiance and cleanliness also left much to be desired. Even if it's a traditional dish, I don't believe the cost is justified.

Second time’s a charm, but honestly, so was the first!💝 This was my second visit to this place, nd it was just as delightful as the first! The first time, I had come with my Uncle nd Aunt, nd we all left with happy hearts nd full stomachs. This time, I had a visit with my Husband nd our Friend, nd they absolutely loved it too!😍 We had the Rajasthani Thali, nd it was a true treat of generous variety. The food is unlimited, which makes it perfect whether you arrive with a half-full stomach or are absolutely starving, you’ll leave fully satisfied. I loved their Lauki ka Halwa, nd Hyderabadi Biryani❣️my hus nd Friend loved the Aam Ras. A special mention to Manpreet Kaur, who served us with kindness nd attention, everytime making sure we had everything we needed. Also, heartfelt thanks to the sir who kindly stepped in to help, especially since I’m not very fluent in Hindi. He made us feel so comfortable nd was more than happy to explain the way of having the Thali. The overall hospitality added a lot to the experience. One small thing to add, the Thali is slightly on the expensive side, but considering it’s unlimited nd comes with great service nd quality, I’d still say it’s worth a visit, especially for anyone who wants to enjoy the taste of Rajasthan! Highly recommended nd would surely Visit if God helps!

I recently ordered Dal Baati Churma and Sev Tamatar Sabzi from Rajasthani Al Malaki, and I was extremely disappointed with the order I received. Firstly, the baati quantity was shocking — they had literally divided one baati into four small pieces and sent it as a full portion. That’s completely unacceptable and misleading. Secondly, the Sev Tamatar Sabzi was full of water, more like a soup than a proper curry. I expected authentic Rajasthani food, but this experience was far from it. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both food quality and portion size. Definitely not worth the money I paid.

Disappointed Experience on Diwali Night We were truly disappointed to leave this kind of review, especially after visiting with high expectations on the festive night of Diwali. Our group included six people — four adults and two children (aged 9 and 10). We chose this place hoping for great food and a memorable evening. The ambiance was beautiful and festive, which initially raised our hopes. However, the experience quickly turned sour due to the restaurant’s rigid policy. We ordered four full thalis for the adults and requested one thali to be shared between the two kids. Unfortunately, the management strictly refused, citing their policy against sharing — even for children. Despite our polite requests and explanations, they stood firm. We completely understand if such rules are enforced for adults, but a full Rajasthani thali is far too much for a child to finish alone. It wasn't about avoiding the cost — it was about preventing food waste. We knew one thali would be more than enough for both kids, and ordering two would only lead to unnecessary waste. Our suggestion: please revisit this rule, especially when it comes to children. Consider how much food might be going to waste simply because of this policy. Is it truly worth it? Ultimately, the decision lies with you — whether to prioritize revenue or to take a more thoughtful approach toward reducing food wastage and enhancing the customer experience.
Sudhish K — Google review
Hands down one of the best Rajasthani spots I’ve tried in the UAE! 🔥 Service on point, zero flaws. We went for the thali and it was sooo good — and the fact that it’s just AED 35 makes it even better. Big W 🙌 Totally recommending this one!

I visited this restaurant specifically to taste Rajasthani cuisine. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the Service; the servers seemed to be busy with other tasks, and their response was neither instant nor within a reasonable time. They never asked if I needed a replenishment of curries. We were not asked about serving rice. We paid Dirham 112 for 3 thalli and got no rice and no replenishment of curries. I will never revisit this restaurant.

Kulcha King Restaurant is a highly popular eatery that attracts patrons from all over the world to its various locations in the UAE. This well-known brand has eight branches throughout the country and serves delectable Amritsari classics, such as chole-stuffed kulcha bread, chicken gravy, biriyanis, pav bhaji, and breakfast rolls.
Kulcha King is famous for its delicious Kulchas. I have been going to this restaurant to have their delicious Kulchas in Dubai and Sharjah. Their best Kulchas are the Cheese Kulchas and Cheese Jalapeño Kulcha. I visited this newly opened branch in Sharjah. By looking at their Menu I wanted to try their Chicken Tikka Biryani, so I tried it and it was super amazing. The presentation was very good too. The Malai Chicken Tikka was amazing. This restaurant is great for both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarians. I liked the place very much. Enjoyed their food a lot. It was heaven. Also I would like to say their staff was very nice. I recently visited Kulcha King in Sharjah and had an amazing experience. The ambience is colorful, vibrant, and very inviting – perfect for family gatherings or casual meetups. We tried their mango lassi which was thick, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken tikka kulcha was a standout – soft, flavorful, and perfectly paired with tangy and spicy sauces. Their chicken seekh kebabs were absolutely delicious with authentic North Indian flavors and chutney. The chicken dum biryani served in a clay pot was aromatic, full of juicy chicken pieces, and had a unique taste I’ve never tried before. We ended with hot, soft gulab jamuns which were the perfect sweet finish. They also offer a tray of mixed shots (6 sweet & salty flavors) for just 18 AED, which was fun to try. Overall, I highly recommend this place for authentic Indian food in Sharjah – definitely worth visiting again! Junu there, made our visit more enjoyable and comfortable! Thanks to her.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kulcha King, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant had a modern yet comfortable vibe, making it the perfect place for a casual meal with friends or a family gathering. Now let's talk about the food—the star of the show. Kulcha King specializes in North Indian cuisine, and they truly deliver on authenticity and taste. I started with their signature dish, the Amritsari Kulcha, and it was nothing short of perfection. The crispy yet soft texture combined with the flavorful stuffing left me craving for more. The accompanying chole (chickpea curry) was rich and had just the right amount of spice We got a chance to order meal for 4 in just AED 129 which was well enough for even 5 and very reasonable I tried aromatic chicken biryani Haryali kebab Mutton handi Chiken tikka Masala Chiken cheese kulcha And garlic naan We tried newly introduced pasta infused with a slow-cooked creamy makhani style sauce with delectable morsels of Tikkaesque Chicken, topped with Parmesan Cheese and a hint of Coriander. This delicious goodness 'Butter Chicken Curry Penne' The staff named Neha was true dedication example she was explaining everything in a detail about each dish you can order was suggesting everything as per your taste and mood she was making sure no customer should be neglected Highly recommended

I have some joy to share with you. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE SOME GOAN FOOD!!!!! I have been to this place twice now and got a chance to taste from Mumbai(Bombay) to Goa. To begin with, this was a wonderful experience with a warm welcome and a greeting from the host. The Gentleman offered us some papas with a mix of tomato, onion and some herbs. Delicious 😋. Then I had ordered the Bombay triple rice and I was not disappointed. It was spicy and kind of a unique experience which filled me with lot of joy and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Thank you for that. He next day I tried the chicken cafreal a Goan specialty with steam rice and I was not at all disappointed. The food was top notch. It was a treat to all my 3 senses. I had also ordered GS special chilly cheese Naan which was good too. Some might find this to be overpriced but trust me, the price justifies the quality and quantity of the food you get. Lately I have loved these momos with schezwan sauce which was brilliant. For the Mains We had Butter Chicken which was super creamy and delicious. The Star of the evening was the Goan Mango Curry which brought the authentic taste of coastal Fish curry served in My Home town. It was an amazing combination with rice. The food was great. Had been to Grub Shack Express last week for dinner. I have had food from Grub shack located in Dubai long back, and I remember the food was pretty decent. But my experience this time was really good. To start off, we were served with drinks mango and chili mojito, and Yuzu lemon and mint mojito. Both were decent, though I felt the flavors didn’t come through enough. For starters, we were served Mama’s beef pan rolls and potato chops. Loved the former, absolutely delightful. Potato chops were just okay. Then came the drums of heaven, and boy! It was lip smacking good. The coating on the chicken was super flavorful. Peri peri chicken tikka came next and this was a nice starter as well. Simple, yet enjoyable. Calamari twist was the only seafood we tried here. For mains, we had their double decker chicken. Oh I am a big fan of this one, the GS double decker. It had layers of rice and noodles with an amazing chicken gravy filling. Gorgeous dish this is, a must have according to me! Tawa tandoori chicken biriyani was the other main dish we tried. Well, for my taste buds, it was just decent. It was too tangy for me, but I was told this is how it should taste! Unfortunately, there was no dessert here. The overall experience was really good. The place is a little small, perfect for takeaways. You can be there and enjoy your meal as well, but if you are in a big group, it will become difficult. Good service, good food!

I tried 3 items the bun kabab, Chandan roll and BBQ biryani. The Chandan roll was very good. Bun kabab was ok. Biryani was average. Their raita was very good. What pushed it from 3 to 4 stars for me was the exceptional service. Prices were reasonable.
Mohammed K — Google review
Taste of food is not like before.. meat was half cooked and not tasty at all. Even after paying extra for beef behari rolls. Rolls were dry and not tasty at all. It used to be good place but not anymore. Money wasted😭 Its time to search new roll point.
Kashif Y — Google review
The quality of the food is satisfactory; however, there is potential for improvement.
Kumail H — Google review
Unexpectedly a small outlet right among many restaurants in Sharjah. Though the food was pretty much satisfactory. The new edition Chand Seek Kabab will win your heart! The Puri Paratha served with the Kebabs makes this dish more scrumptious! You can find different varieties of Biriyani from BBQ to Malai, I would say this place is for Kebabs. The owner Mr. Muzamil is so compassionate about his venture and the customer service was excellent. Definitely a must visit place for all Kebab lovers!
Shruthi P — Google review
Hands down the best Karachi style paratha rolls in Dubai/Sharjah. Size is large and the quality is great! Price is also very reasonable. No place to sit but you can sit in your car and have it. 9/10 ⭐️
Tahir Q — Google review
Authentic barbeque, biryani, rolls from Karachi. Wallah 😍 i loved each bite of juicy spicy Chicken Behari Roll. Having capacity of 6 to 10 ppl inside restaurant. But you would really love it.
Rohail A — Google review
I don’t know where to begin and where to end with these guys. There are so many great options on their menu that I have a hard time selecting what to order. If you are die-hard fan of BBQ, you’ll surely love to savor it again and again. Scrumptious and warming, Bihari kebab & Boti are at its best along with Biryani. No wonder the mouth-watering Chicken Mayo & Chicken Chatni Rolls in chapati & Pori Paratha are undoubtedly a great attention-puller. The melt-in-mouth touch, luscious look and char-grilled aroma can easily get anyone hooked. The only negative point is that there is no sitting for Families but Families drop by for the take away order. My personal Recommendation ..Be there and feel like at home 🤗

Indian restaurant
Calicut Notebook Restaurant, established in 2012, offers a diverse menu featuring Kerala meals and international cuisines such as French, Arabic, Japanese, and Thai. With four locations across the UAE and India, this restaurant is known for its fusion of South Indian flavors with global influences. Signature dishes like pandanas chicken and bamboo biriyani are popular among customers. The restaurant prides itself on providing top-quality dishes and excellent customer service.
I recently visited Calicut Notebook and got takeout, and it was a great experience! The dynamite chicken was amazing—crispy, perfectly spiced, and coated in a rich, creamy sauce that had just the right kick. The portion was generous, and everything was packed well. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food, this café is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend Calicut Notebook and will definitely order again!

Now they are providing free parking opposite side. Food is decent and service is good. If you’re sea food lover then must try their menu for sure. The prices are affordable.

We tried the Onam special Sadhya thali. A nice experience.
Saurabh S — Google review
The restaurant has excellent food, great hospitality, and very good customer service. However, the washing area was untidy and had an unpleasant smell. I hope the management takes action to improve this, as cleanliness there is very important. Once improved, this place will be perfect!
Nazir I — Google review
Tried the biriyani here, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The rice quality could be better, and the masala was a bit bland. I was expecting a more authentic Calicut-style biriyani, but it just didn’t deliver on flavor. Hopefully, they can improve on that!. Felt a bit overpriced for what it was.
Krishnanand K — Google review
Absolutely Impressed !! Recently we availed their catering services for a private home function and got in touch with Akhil who ensured that the entire experience was top notch. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests even complemented the food the next day. They made sure everything required for the dining experience was taken care of ! Thank you Notebook for the fine catering experience !

The quality of the food has been going down day by day, and this year’s Onam Sadhya was a complete disappointment. The food was poorly cooked and tasted terrible. On top of that, the pricing is extremely overpriced for what they are serving. Instead of focusing on attractive packing, I wish the management would concentrate on delivering good quality and tasty food. The Palada and Parippu Pradhaman they introduced this year are the worst I’ve ever had — I honestly couldn’t figure out whether to call it payasam or kanji.

Step into India Palace, where the essence of Mughal cuisine comes alive amidst a backdrop of opulent decor. This restaurant pays homage to the royal Mughal dynasty, offering dishes that are deeply influenced by Persian, Indian, and Afghan culinary traditions. The aroma of ground spices fills the air as each dish is meticulously marinated and cooked in traditional clay ovens or tandoors. As you enter, you'll be greeted by intricately carved wooden interiors and elegant copper tableware that evoke a sense of royalty.
Great food. Seasons special like butter chicken kulcha and saffron leechi shahi Tulsa was refreshing new pick. Loved Amritsari chicken, a tangy curry, must try.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and everything was clean and well-organized. I especially want to compliment our server, ASHISH. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and served us with a warm smile the entire time. His service truly made our visit special. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at India Palace Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of India. The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of authentic Indian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The naan bread was fresh and fluffy, making it the ideal accompaniment to the flavorful curries. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure our dining experience was top-notch. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations based on our preferences.

Had lunch here today and it was perfect even my baby had a great time. Told the manager i wanted something from the menu that baby could eat and he helped me choose some rice and chicken and she loved it he even gave me a bowl of yoghurt to add to her meal so thoughtful ! Pakistani restaurant
Nayaab Haandi - Al Mujarrah is a popular Pakistani restaurant with three branches in the emirate, known for its tender meat, tasty fish, and rich haandi dishes. The biryanis are particularly recommended for their flavorful taste and variety. The restaurant offers a wide range of traditional cuisine, including signature Handi dishes that are rich and aromatic.
If you're looking for flavorful and budget-friendly meals, Naayab Haandi is a fantastic choice! As someone from India, I was impressed by how well the dishes resonated with my palate, combining bold flavors with a hearty, satisfying experience. Special mention to their Karahi, which stood out for its rich, aromatic gravy and tender, well-cooked meat. The spices were perfectly balanced, making it a delight for anyone who enjoys authentic flavors. Portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for money- ideal for both solo diners and groups. The ambience might not be overly fancy, but the focus on taste and quality more than makes up for it. Highly recommend Naayab Haandi for anyone craving delicious food that doesn't break the bank!

I recently visited [Restaurant Name], and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The quality of the food was very disappointing. It lacked flavor, freshness, cold Chapaati and was not up to the standards expected from a restaurant of this reputation. Additionally, the presentation and overall attention to detail were poor, which made the meal even less enjoyable. I hope the management takes these comments seriously and makes improvements. I would not recommend dining here until significant changes

A big thanks to Mr. Arif for his support, as always, and to the hardworking servers who ensured a smooth experience. Highly recommend Nayaab Handi for a seamless and delicious dining experience!

We had our team iftar dinner at Nayab Handi today. The service was excellent, and the food was good—though not exactly to my taste, the quality was definitely impressive.pir team loved their food over all One thing we absolutely loved was the Nayab Special Handi—it was a standout! It was suggested by their team, and it was good. The seating space was also very comfortable, making the overall experience enjoyable. We were served by munib bhai, and he was so accommodating and jolly

Their extensive menu features chaat items, dosas, traditional sweets, fresh ice cream and affordable combos (kulcha-chole), making it an ideal choice for vegetarians seeking genuine Indian cuisine. Paid parking available outside. And it is not that difficult to get a parking here.
Nandita P — Google review
It's a vegetarian restaurant serving mostly North Indian dishes alongside a wide variety of dosas. The ambiance and seating are typical of a standard restaurant, as are the serving style and food quality. However, the prices are considerably high compared to the level of service and the restaurant's standard seating and arrangements

Good tasty food at very reasonable prices. Glad to have discovered this restaurant. Had thali meals at dinner time, which was too heavy for diet eaters like us. Also bought some yummy sweets and snacks.

I have multiple chats and some main dishes. The food is tasty . But very expensive too. Rasmalai we had was not as expected, the peda was not well soaked where the inside was still frozen.

Recently, I tried both the Gujarati and Punjabi Thalis at this restaurant. Every element in the Thali was impeccable, offering a variety of delicious items. The Thalis are worth the price. I noticed they have a separate chat section, along with tempting kulfi and sweets that I plan to try next time. Looking forward to sharing an honest review after exploring more of their offerings.
