We sat at the bar and ordered a croissant, fries to share, a margarita and a caiparinha. The bartender took 10 minutes to make the 2 drinks. He’d start, then start chatting or do something else then come back and continue. In the end, he made my caiparinha with lemons instead of lime and it was shaken. I’m so confused. It doesn’t even taste right. The croissant was stale - I suspect it has been sitting there all day or days. The fries arrived 20 minutes after we ordered it. It is 6pm on a Thursday and the bar is empty. I would not recommend this bar at all.

First meal very good and well presented chicken quesadillas. The woman at the next table had French toast it too was presented well and looked yummy. So I came back the next day for breakfast. Yep it was as good as it looked.

Very good service. I liked their Napolitan schnitzel. We shared this dish. I had Mate cocido the herb infusion typical of Argentina. Vety good alfajores.

Great service, good atmosphere, food tastes good but somewhat plain. I ordered their speciality Tante Sara schnitzel and this was one of the largest single servings I ever eat. My partner ordered continental breakfast and was disappointed with taste and size of the portion.

We had breakfast here 3 times. Each meal we had was amazing. The take away bakery items were great to fill us through the day as well. Great coffee, space and service.

Looking for brunch or a quick bite with some coffee? This would be a good place to go. This coffee shop's location is great. It's located on the main tourist street and easily accessible. There isn't anything special about this place, but I'd say the price is reasonable and the food wouldn't disppoint you. I'd recommend this place as a brunch or a place to grab a quick bite before starting your tour day! Tips: Downstairs may get pretty busy. If you enjoy a quiet tea time, I'd consider finding a table in the second floor.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and it was nice. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling too well so I actually didn't eat much of my food, but I ordered a lemonade and the burrito, both of which were solid. The lemonade is insanely pulpy, like it has more pulp than anything I've ever had in my life, but I liked it. Just a warning for those who aren't a fan of pulp. The burrito was good, but again I didn't eat much of it. The bread basket was also good.

Went early at 7+ and had a seat easily. Became crowded shortly after. The menu on the board are better items than the ones on the menu. Ordered the scallop casserole which was very good which had potatoes as the base. Had to ask for bread from the server who totally missed me out. The decor is made up of many old items from the past. Tips only in cash which the server will remind u.

The best and most authentic Patagonian restaurant in South. Perfect food, attention and ambience. Their food selection is incredible, so many authentic dishis to choose from. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again. A true taste of Ushuaia 🇦🇷

The food was really good and the service was even better. The waitress that served us spoke english and portuguese perfectly, something I haven’t seen in this trip to patagonia. She was extremely kind and helpful. The building is also beautiful ❤️ we jad the risotto al mar and the tagliatelle al mar and both dishes were teally good

I liked this place, it's very original because of the interior but the food wasn't that tasty. My friend had lamb ravioli and I had steak of pork with sweet potatoes, which were only like 3 pieces. I would expect a bit more. Moreover I think it's worth visiting.

Great place in terms of appearance. Almost looks like a museum. We only had 2 coffees and 2 cakes. The coffees were fine. The cakes were ok if not a bit dry. The layer cake with dulce de leche was actually better the next day. Huge portions. Definitely worth it for the place and the atmosphere.

Built in 1906, probably one of the oldest general store in Ushuaia. Had a wonderful seafood risotto and the specialty coffee Ramos Generales. Should have split the risotto to leave room for dessert. The waitress Ayelen was excellent!

We spent a lot of hours here for both breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is delightful, the interior interesting and the service excellent. The tarts we had for breakfast were top of the line and beautifully made. Lunch was hearty, well-portioned and perfect for the cold weather. The scallop casserole deserves a special mention - so smooth and soft and fragrant, maybe the best scallops we've ever had. They offer a wonderful and wide selection of wines. This place is a jewel of Ushuaia and not to be missed! A true haven.

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is friendly. The shared appetizer for 2 unfortunately wasn't the best because there was too much cheese and everything was fried. A mix of that and something fresh would have been better. It's not expensive compared to the other restaurants in the city centre.

It was my favorite place to go in Ushuaia during my 10 days stay. It has amazing views, the food is delicious and the price is fair! What else can you ask for??? Oh, and you might want to skip appetizers as the plates are big enough. Excellent house wine for 6000 pesos.

Delicioso !! We had a great dinner here and the black cod was so good. This was the first time we had the crab here in town so we can’t compare but its not too bad. The staff was great and can’t be anymore friendlier. They have two location and this is by the water just on the skirt of the town. Recommended !

Cute place right on the water. Lovely stone and wood interior with a large open fireplace kept crackling. Our waitress was friendly. Unfortunately it is dark before most people eat dinner so we just enjoyed a bit of the lit water just below our window table. The merluza (I think it’s cod but the menu calls it black hake) was fresh, delicious and well cooked. We opted for the cetolla (they call it king crab but it’s not nearly the size of king crab I’ve had before) and at ARG18,000 pesos we didn’t love it. The squid appetizer was fresh and delicious, nicely fried. The accompanying sauces for the crab and the squid were quite ordinary, should be rethought. You get a nice basket of bread with a soft cream cheese blend with onions and garlic. If you drive, this is on the outskirts of town and the entrance for parking comes before the restaurant so drive slowly and look ahead. Very narrow parking area in front.

Decent bistro in the middle of Ushuaia town. The empanadas were yummy. Steamed fish was interesting.

We had an amazing meal here on a Sunday evening. Since it was early we were the only people in the restaurant we had very attentive service. Food was very high quality and I especially loved the black risotto. The King Crab is exquisite and I highly encourage everyone to at least order the appetizer! The views are incredible and we even managed to see a rainbow come down across the Beagle Channel. I hope everyone should be so lucky!

The view is beautiful and the service is great. The food was good, but my husband's fish came with bricks of butter instead of orange slices. Overall I would recommend trying this restaurant!

Atmosphere was very good. The service was not good. Had to ask for service repeatedly even while sitting at the bar. The food was disgusting. I only ordered the papa fritas with cheese. Couldn’t eat it. Even the fries were soggy. I could tell the fries were cold and they just added this gross cheese crap on top and shipped it out of the kitchen to me. Price for it was outrageous. My pictures of the meal are what was provided and what I couldn’t eat because I would have gotten sick if I had more.

Even at the end of the world, no escaping us Irish and our bars! Decent food especially the chips with garlic, although the onion rings could have been a bit warmer. Local stout sweet but drinkable and staff friendly

Happy hour on beers was a great way to end the day. Staff was friendly, but it was slightly difficult to get their attention to order another beer. Didn't have any food, but what was coming out around us looked good. Certainly would recommend, and honestly one of the more lively and vibrant places we visited during our stay in Ushuaia

Best Irish pub in town, cozy atmosphere and great beer! Always a must when visiting Ushuaia!

Food was gross and expensive, drinks expensive and didn’t have great options (plus no Guinness), service bad, no heaters on out in the smoking area in the middle of winter, toilet was minging. Good tunes spinning on the night (Saturday) but it’s for sure not a genuine Irish bar, at all at all! ❌☘️

Nice small Irish pub. Seems to be the to go place for foreigners. Prices are good, not so expensive place. Good selection of beers and snack. Only bad thing I found was the heater outside. To warm in the summer.

The Museo del Fin del Mundo is very close to the port, but honestly not worth the 7,000 peso entry. There’s little to see inside, maybe 15–20 minutes at most, and my experience with the staff wasn’t very welcoming. If your time in Ushuaia is limited, you can easily skip this one.

2 small buildings showcasing the exploration and wildlife of Patagonia by Argentina. They’re separated by 3 blocks (approximately) so do make sure to check out both buildings.

Somewhat limited, and this ticket includes two additional museums, so is worth the price. Great collection of birds from the area.

The museum was larger than expected and offers a mix of maritime history as well as its own past as a penitentiary. It has a rich collection of model ships of various sizes and representing different historical eras. They are some of the best models I’ve seen to date. Besides this, it has a nice collection of maritime objects. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this museum.

Nice little museum about different local topics. You can learn something about animals, the natives and about the history of the city. Entrance fee is just 3.000 Pesos and you have access to the other building of the museum as well.

The better half of the two in one museum for 400ARS. The museum shows a little history and a little bit of the animal world. If the museum could be redone, it could become quite nice. Important , it should not remain so dark, the size of textes must become bigger and everything needs a better structure and layout.

The end of the world is full of stark beauty and extreme wildlife. The islands offshore teem with walrus, sea lions, penguins and cormorants. A boat trip offshore is the best way to see this wildlife in their natural element.

Interesting museum. You pay the entrance and get to go to a gallery and others museums inside. We didn’t get a guide but we used to audio from their website to listen to the stories on our phone. It was 28,000 pesos for students (till 24 y/o), and 35,000 for adults in general.

Interesting building, but the museums feel like they Googled themselves. This former prison now hosts a Maritime Museum, a prison history section, and an art gallery. The setting is unique, but most of the exhibits felt like oversized Wikipedia pages. The naval art and the temporary gallery were the highlights. The café is more like a drinks counter, the gift shop thinks it’s selling gold, and overall, it didn’t quite justify the time. If you’re short on time in Ushuaia, take a quick wander through the prison — the atmosphere is the real exhibit here.

Great museum in the old prison building. Super interesting to see the cells as they were left and learn about the early history of Ushuaia. Some wings of the building have been converted into other exhibits such as Antarctic exploration and art galleries. While some of the sections felt a little disjointed, it was overall well-presented. The maritime art gallery had a really nice collection of work. Highly recommend if you have time while in Ushuaia - this was one of the best museums I came across compared to those in other cities in Patagonia.

This is truly a historical and interesting place to walk around. You can buy tickets directly in the museum without any issues and wait. There are two buildings of museums and the ticket is valid for both entrances. The ticket costs $6 per person, but a student $2 per person. I am recommending this lovely place to visit and bubble around. Enjoy Ushuaia

Very nice experience! The entrance fee is a bit more expensive (for non Argentinians 40.000$) but I think it's worth it. You will learn a lot about different topics since there are many parts of this museum- a prison, arts, Antarctica, history of Ushuaia. I was interested in the part of prison the most and it's very nicely presented.

A powerful and immersive visit. The preserved prison wings give a real sense of the harsh isolation that defined Ushuaia’s early years. Walking through the narrow, cold corridors was haunting—especially in Wing 4, left untouched since its closure. The museum does a great job connecting history, maritime heritage, and local life. The exhibitions on Antarctica, explorers, and prison escape attempts were very well curated. If you’re interested in history, human endurance, or photography, this is a must-see in Ushuaia. 🕰️ Give yourself 1.5 to 2 hours 📸 The textures and atmosphere are incredibly photogenic 🎟️ Worth every peso

We were able to squeeze in this museum in between our many excursions. It was well worth it. The prison tour itself was interesting, however, there is way more than meets the eye. So much history in there, it really helped improve my knowledge of the area’s history. The maritime area was amongst my favorite in the museum. There is also a good amount of art that would appeal to most but I am tone deaf with art 🤣. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it if you have the time.

The pumpkin soup was just right for my taste. The king crab was well seasoned and meaty. The seafood paella was not satisfying. I would not recommend it. The staff was really friendly and diligent. It is located in the center of Ushuaia town, so it is easy to find.

Very good food, king crab is super delicious and hyper expensive. If you dine late or with a more than 4 people, better to reserve a table in advance.

I made reservation for over a month and half requesting fresh king crabs. When I arrive I was told there are no crabs even they had 4 in the tank. I was told those are for other reservations. They apparently leave the crabs as bait or display to attract customers. We paid over 91000 pesos for lunch for two. Two king crab soup with very few crab pieces. One ravioli seafood. Mixed seafood king crab. One beer and one water bottle. We were forced to add tip to the bill. Approximately 91us$ for a poorly served lunch. It is a big tourist trap.

This was a recommended choice from a local. I really enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere. I had a trout that was tasty with rice. It was a great choice. My friend had a tagliatelle with seafood, that was amazing. The server was so nice and helpful. Always smiling. I would like to come back again.

For me the Merluza, sea bass, was the best piece of fish I have ever had. My husband had the trout and both were cooked absolutely perfectly, were light and flaky and melted in your mouth. Everything including the butter for the bread and the sides were amazing. We’re glad we listened to the waiter to try the chocolate covered Calafate ice cream. On our one month trip, this is one of the top meals we had. Perfect.

Not a long wait for delicious crabs! Size was massive and freshness and how they were prepared was reasonable for the price. Comfortable restaurant with a casual setting.

We really enjoyed our visit at this seafood restaurant. We would definitely recommend to go for the signature dish, the king crab (centolla). We tried a large one for two. As side dishes we had yellow rice and French fries. For sure it’s a little bit of work to get the tasty white meat out if the shell. But with a big scissor, fork and knife it was doable quite easily. The centolla for two costs us around 80 euro. 🦀

Bad food and bad service. They gave us a well done steak when I ordered for a medium. You can see there is no blood in the middle at all. They said I ate it so they cannot refund or change. But it is impossible to tell whether it is medium or not until you cut the middle and take a few bites. You can tell from the picture that I only ate 3 bites. We also ordered the king crab meat and it doesn't taste fresh at all.

Very cosy and tasty! Open all day and a really nice place with older antique furniture and decoration thank you for having us. We come back again!

Discovered this place via a foodie travel blog, and food thing, because without explicitly knowing where we were going we likely wouldn't have found it. The ambiance is nice, the food was delightful.

We stopped for some early evening drinks before dinner. We had friends with us on their first visit to Argentina. This was their first experience in a restaurant/bar. Sadly, it was not a good experience. First, my wife ordered a gin tonic with orange. They brought one with lemon. Okay, they changed it, for another where the tonic was flat. Then I ordered two rubia cervezas, perhaps not their fault, but I didn’t like the flavor. We thought about having dinner there, but if they can’t get simple drinks right, I didn’t want to trust them with my food. I rarely give such poor marks to an establishment, but I was embarrassed for my friends. Maybe they will be better for you, most others give them good marks.

The prices are misleading! 1. They add 10% tax on top of all prices! 2. Table service costs 1000 ARP 3. They brought us wrong beer (which was by coincidence also the most expensive one) The food was okay, but the scammy pricing spoils the experience.

Really nice atmosphere ! Santiago was a big help in ordering in spanish for a non spanish-speaking person. Really delicious salmon ! Not overly impressed with our experience here. We were quite hungry and couldn’t wait until most restaurants open around 7PM, so it was nice to have an option before then. Beer was good. Food was mediocre, the lamb ravioli was served in a soup of tomato sauce, and calamari was okay. My partner had a lamb dish and said it was okay as well. Service was not great, no offering of water, didn’t notice when glasses or plates were empty. Not horrible but rather disappointing meal for a first one in town.

Lovely place with a nice view from the mountain and the food is simply delicious. Arrive when it opens to have the best table selection. Food was particularly tasty and with use of local ingredients. I would definitely come back. Starters are about 500 ars main around 1300 ars and deserts around 250 ars. Very good deal if you take into account the quality of each plate.

Went here with 156 other travelers prior to our Antarctica trip. Great food and service and they got all of us fed in 2 hours. Can't comment on price though, it was part of the trip.

By far my favorite restaurant in Ushuaia, the food, the service, the ambient, the menu, all perfect! I recommend to get reservations in advance as it is quite hard to get a table there during high season’s. All was just perfect!

Highly recommend this place for good food, amazing ambience and top notch service in town! Their king crab legs were the best I have ever had. For a context of reference- this is a statement for some one from San Francisco where we have the best Dungeness crab. The local Blake Hake fish was perfectly cooked and tasted super fresh. Definitely exceed expedition. The ribeye steak too was cook to perfection and way more delicious than the ones I had from any others Parrilas. And the price tag is very reasonable. I also have high respect for their service: it was partly on me that the room the Blake hake fish instead of the Duo ( Blake hake & Codfish). They brought me extra codfish and also charged me for the lower duo fish dish instead of the Blake hake. To be fair, I would have paid the Blake hake fish. Not only that, they comp-ed us two lovely glasses of champagne for our special occasion. Not to mention, the view from the place is AMAZING! We had such a good time at Chez Manu. We are really grateful that this place was open even during low season.

Great French-style food with fresh local ingredients, prepared by the French chef. Both the food and the view are easily worth the trip up the mountain by themselves. The combination of the two is just divine. Of course, you pay for what you get, but it’s not prohibitive. No vegetarian option for the main course when we visited.

Made a reservation on WhatsApp which was easy at 730pm. It becomes crowded from 8pm onwards. The king crab stews were really expensive and didn't know what to order. My choices were king crab sorrentinos, salmon sorrentinos or seafood stew. I went for the king crab sorrentinos even though the server recommended the salmon one. It was alright but nothing mindblowing. Saw many tables ordering the fried calamari. But there was 1 table that also ordered that and complained that it wasn't fresh and cancelled the rest of their orders and left. The hake dish looked good. For dessert I had the calafate berry ice cream which was ok.

For some reason they take groups of 2 first, we were a group of three. We waited 2 hours, got in line at 8pm didn’t sit till 10pm, and that’s because the line wasn’t even long, they called for groups of 2 five times. So go early, right when they open or split your groups into 2 people if you want to eat faster. If you see a line, don’t wait more than 20 min, there are better ways of spending time in Ushuaia, then waiting for a mediocre restaurant. Also just order the Hake

After all the asados i was really glad to sea food haha. Food wasnt spectacular but was pretty decent. I would recommend it once if ur in the area.

Long queue on a Sunday for lunch. Food is nice but not too special. Big portion for mixed fried seafood. Whole king crab is frozen and not fresh so we didn’t order.

I went to this restaurant twice during my trip here. The food is just amazing! The Black Hake is the best fish dish I ever had so far! The service is also great! Amazing food is with the wait!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We had a lot of fun dining in this restaurant. I only gave four stars to the food because of the king crab- we found out only after we visited El Viejo Marino the next day- is smaller and more expensive here.

We stopped into this venue on our first night in the city. The drinks and food were AMAZING. The service left a little to be desired. We often had to wait long stretches of time just to be acknowledged. We would have spent far more money here had they just given us the time of day.

We had a fun time here for drinks and dinner! The servers were nice and attentive, there was good 80s/90s music playing, and the food and drinks were pretty good. The Thai beef tiradito and the apple crumble with malbec syrup were amazing, and the Frog burger was great. We also got the nachos with pulled pork on top, which were good initially, until we ate all the pulled pork off the top, and there were still a bunch of soggy chips underneath that went uneaten.

Cocktails looked pretty at first, but that was about it. We came here after being on a 10-day Antarctica cruise. Coming from a place where a high quality of service was the priority, this bar felt short. At least 5 people were standing inside the bar area but only 1 bartender was making drinks. This is probably okay on a slow night, but not during the summer season in Ushuaia.

Ate here last night, great atmosphere with music, husband had lamb curry, I had tacos, both delicious. Drinks were good, was fun watching the bar staff make the many varieties of drinks. Staff was very responsive, even though we didn’t speak Spanish. Going back again before we fly out.

Super charming place with kind staff, nice appetizers and great drinks. I was lucky to arrive at the happy hour, and I got two drinks for the price of one. The bar has big windows all over, so we can have a nice view of Ushuaia's coast as the night falls.

Had an IPA and Lamb Vindaloo. Draft IPA tasted like the line hadn't been cleaned in a year and the curry was salty enough to melt snow. On a plus, the place is stylish with good music.

We just came for a quick bite and a glass of wine, but a soccer game was on TV was it was nice, and a few people just chatting and playing some cards. Nice place for sure.

Perhaps my favorite little bar in Ushuaia. I want to hire their designer to decorate my house. I loved the prints on the wall, the style the vibe. Tons of outlets at every table, and USB ports. Easily could spend an afternoon there.

Good selection of local craft beer and a small menu with tasty options. I visited a few times and the beer selection varied. During the day, they offer a set lunch, not the full menu. Service can be slow when it's busy. They host tango and DJs sometimes.

I will never forget the emotion I felt when I saw the Land's End sign on the Internet. I came to see that moving scene...

I loved it!! I went first at around 9:30am and it wasn’t empty but not crowded. The second time I went it was around 1pm and it was completely empty, better to take pics. I went there again two days later because of the snow, looked even better!!!

Nothing special about this location, but if you happen to spend a half day walking around the town, I am sure you will run into this famous sign. Just another signature sign post that everyone takes a photo with in Ushuaia.

Simple place in the central tourist area of ​​Ushuaia. Great spot for souvenir photos. And the view of the sea is unique.

Sensational. Worth every penny. You will see stunning views of Ushuaia. The pilot was extremely professional, the flight was delightful without any sudden maneuvers. The landing was like landing on a mattress. The entire team was super helpful. Thank you very much!

This was an amazing experience. I had already a flight in New Zealand which was great and I could not avoid to try also in Ushuaia. 30 minutes flight a la "fin del mundo!" . Incredible view you can really understand everything from there. This a really top experience. I really suggest to invest in it!

Amazing experience. Breathtaking views on the city and region. Highly recommend the 45-min flight, a little pricey but definitely worth every penny. Heli Ushuaia is the best helicopter service in the region. Staff is very professional and pilots have been doing it for decades. Helicopters are well maintained and no safety precaution is overlooked.

Relatively pricey but worth it for excellent food. I was really surprised and delighted by the amount of flavor in my lamb stew and the tenderness of the meat. One of more flavorful dishes I had in my entire stay in Argentina. The lentil stew and steak were also well received at our table.

I find this restaurant by surprise on instagram and I was very happy about it regardless the food, service was perfect, they speak Spanish, English and some French. Will defenetly go back during my stay

Great food. I had steak, my family has fish and lentils stew. It was all good. The wait was a little longer than usual but I guess we were not in a hurry. They have a large balcony with a view of the bay and it’s open to their customers. (They are on a 4th level above the street) There is also a museum. But we didn’t visit.

Glad I listened to the reviews about not judging a book by it's cover. The lamb stew was absolutely delicious (albeit slightly salty), the potato chips were nice and crispy but I think mash would go better with this dish. I tried the seafood platter on a separate visit and don't recommend this as much - the calamari was slightly overdone, some of the fish slightly soggy but the prawns and croquettes were lovely and nice dipping sauce to go with. The wine by the glass is a generous measure and comes in a jug. Lovely service, maybe go early to get a seat by the window that overlooks the harbour. I went twice without a reservation and there were plenty of tables.

One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Argentina. This is the classic "Don't judge a book by its cover." because the food is simply amazing. We were really pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food. The restaurant has a very particular look and style to it which is very interesting but might give the impression that it's a place to get simple and oke food. Nothing could be further from the truth... There is a reason why it was packed the whole night and people were waiting in line to get a table! The food was simply incredible. We ordered the 'Abadejo al Romesco' (Haddock with Romesco' sauce and creamy rice), the 'Cazuelo de Cordero' (Lamb casserole with Malbec mushrooms and Spanish potatoes) and a side of fries. The food was so good we inhaled it all in record time. The fries were crispy and salty, the fish was perfectly cooked, the creamy rice and sauce were refreshing and felt light and don't get me started on the lamb... Wow. Easily the best lamb stew I've had in my life. Each bite got me craving for more, the Spanish crispy potatoes hit exactly the right spot, combined with the flavour of the stew...insanely good. The portions are plentiful as well so be mindful of that (see pics). The staff was very quick and professional, understood English, and were very nice and helpful. The view was amazing! The staff will direct you to the tables that look out on the mountains which is very thoughtful. The facilities are very clean and well kept. This is a must visit during your stay in Ushuaia. I expect a lot when visiting a restaurant and having these reviews in mind but I have to give my compliments to Del Viejo Lobo for completely obliterating my expectations and blowing me away with their experience. Amazing. 4.7 ⭐

the food was amazing, real quick service and good servings. more than enough food for one person, if you eat little then share a plate. only thing is that the heater wasnt working so it was very cold, otherwise it would be 5 stars. great decoration! and remember it opens at 5pm on holidays… we made the mistake of getting there too early thinking it would be open. btw the gallery is permanently closed, theyre renovating so it’s all gastronomy

You must visit this restaurant during your stay in Ushuaia! It's expensive but it's worth it. I had a fish (Abadejo al romesco) and it was very good. My friend tried Cazuela de cordero and she loved it. The interior with all the decorations and sculptures gives it the right atmosphere and there's also a beautiful view from the terrace.

Nice place! We only had the empanadas, 24000 peso for 6 empanadas. Kind of pricey but these are the prices in Ushuaia, and they tasted great!

The atmosphere is really nice but unfortunately the food was awful. The meat (matambre) and especially the chicken (Milanesa) was incredibly dry. Definitely the worst food I have had in the past year here in Argentina. Service was ok, not rude nor kind.

You get to choose 2 flavours on a single pie and it can cut up to 8 slices and enough for 2 people to share. The pizza that served here is of thick crust type pizza and I personally think they could use a little more tomato sauce for the base as the taste was a little flat but none the less its still a good pie. The server working that evening was very warm and speaks English. We came right after opening hours and the place quickly fills up soon after. Since its not a big dining room, I suggest that you visit early.

Apparently this is the place to get pizza in Ushuaia. We tried a half/half pizza and 3 empanadas. The empanadas were tasty and well made. The pizza was good but personally I prefer more crispy thin crust. To be fair, most of the pizza we’ve had in Argentina was pretty similar to this. There were generous amounts of toppings and we enjoyed our meal. The server was terrific and friendly. The place was empty when we arrived at 8 pm. Within a few minutes, it was packed. Go early or go takeout. Recommended.

The local is very cosy, even though not very spacious. The food is good and the price is very decent and the location is also good. They offer pizzas, empanadas and sandwiches mostly. We ordered a pizza during our visit and paid 3300 pesos and it was enough for two people and there were even leftovers for dinner (two people who eat a lot). Staff is also friendly, so the visit is recommended :)

I love the atmosphere of this bar and restaurant. I sat outside and enjoyed a beer in the afternoon, and walked in to find a covered porch, and then a large space inside with private party room, and then booth, table and bar seating. Rustic, clean and comfy. I didn't get to eat, but the atmosphere is so inviting and warm I'd definitely come back here. Enjoy!

I normally don't write reviews, but after this experience I have to. If you decide to go here, please don't make the same mistake I did and don't order the calamari salad. Even though it's on the current specials menu. The calamari is not well prepared, it's tough and dry. The salad has no flavor. There's a chopped lettuce, red cabbage and pickled tomatoes in oil on the plate. It doesn't make sense and they charge 22,000 ARS for it and we waited quite a long time for the food. The service is lukewarm in its approach, they didn't even come to clear the plates. I'm giving one star for the Pilsner beer

Easy shop to find, located at the main street in Ushuaia. I been walking around and seen quite a number of people eating in the streets so I decided to visit the shop and check it out. I was surprised when I walked in this shop not only sells churros they have a lot of other sweet treats as well. I was really at a loss of which to buy because of the variety. Since the shop name is related to Churros, I suppose its their signature so I decided to buy some to try. Bought the flavoured ones: chocolate, white chocolate and dulce de leche. All 3 were great and very sweet, I enjoyed them a lot. If you are not a fan of so sweet just get the normal sugar coated ones. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff are pretty friendly. I would recommend trying the churros if you are walking around San Martin!

Crunchy churros, soft and yumy berlinesas. My favorite was berlinesa with dulce de leche filling. We paid 820pesos in total for two big size churros and two berlinesas with filling. I wish the staff would be a bit more friendly though, she was looking very bored.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here. The clerk was very harsh at my daughter due to my daughter wanting to have a donut with no intention, end up touching one. Make sense to pay for it, but there was no excuse for being so harsh with a kid

Ehh. Average churros. They weren’t served hot, in fact they were cold, like they had been sitting there for a while. They were more on the salty side, rather than cinnamon sugar. They have more options other than churros. Affordable prices.

Dulce leche doughnut and Creme doughnut were both OK. I may go back if I get the chance to try the churros, which looked good.

We went there after seeing a lot of good reviews, but the churros and pastries are just average. They were cold and there was not a lot of taste. The worst was the way the attendant treat us, not really wanting to be there and plain rude. I'm not sure if it's because of our broken Spanish or something else. Overall, not a good experience.

I strongly disagree with all reviews criticizing their coffee and I believe they actually serve the best coffee in Ushuaia, both in terms of quality of the beans, roast and preparation. Our flat whites were delicious, with an ideal silky milk foam. Their food offer is also very solid, and with honest prices. Considering their location right in the center of town (and above a souvenir shop) they could have easily become a tourist trap and I applaud their choice not to. The ambience is modern, very cool, with plenty of seating and nice views over the harbor through the large corner windows. The Milanesa Sandwich, an Argentine classic, is large, tasty and fulfilling, enough to be considered a small meal on its own. Pies and salad also come in generous portions and are very good. To top it all off, there is very good wi-fi (especially considering how poor it usually is in Ushuaia) and spotlessly clean toilets. Highly recommended.

The coffees (flat white) were a bit disappointing, harsh flavor and too much milk. The space is great, good location, lots of seating areas and windows overlooking the port. Decent wifi, looks like a lot of tourists are stopping in to use the internet. We didn’t eat anything but there is a selection of sandwiches and pastries that looked nice.

I was expecting more. The coffee and food options were okay. The “medialunas” were almost too sweet. The smoothies tasted artificial. However, they have lots of tables, relatively good view of the main street, and free wifi. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

A cool café to make a quick stop during a walk in Ushuaia’s main street and spend some time with friends. The place itself is nice and I found the coffee to be okay. It has a nice window that offers a view of the outside. They also offer plenty of options for eating, however I did not have anything.

Nice little Cafe a short walk from the pier. A great place to hang out in the afternoon and have a coffee. They have a good selection of coffee and cold coffee adjacent beverages. WiFi is available and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Very nice small bar with quite a lot of different beers and lots from the small breweries with some that I couldn't find anywhere else. We arrived right at the opening at 7pm and the kitchen wasn't ready yet for food, but we enjoyed few fresh beer after a long day of hiking.

Love the concept of this place - pick your beers out the fridge, pay for them (very good prices!!) and hang out as long as you like. Or order burgers or fries and feel like you won a bingo game when your name is called over the PA system. We only had fries and they were really good and a massive portion, easily enough for the two of us. Gets great afternoon sun so a nice place to drink beer. Agree that maybe the staff could tell you how it works, but it seemed pretty obvious and the staff we engaged with were very friendly so that wasn’t an issue for us.

It’s okay experience. The beer is good, and the burger is ok. They don’t have waiters. You have to order, pay in advance, and when your food is ready, they call your name and you have to go to the kitchen balcony and get it. Every time you got empty glass you have to go to the bar and buy your beer. What bothered me is the fact they don’t explain how the bar works once you get there. So we sat and waited forever until an employee came to our table and explained that we had to do all by ourselves.

What a charming coffee shop on the edge of the city center, a lovely upstairs room, where you can relax, have a coffee, write your postcards if you have them and enjoy some Internet or a snack. The staff was very sweet and kind and the room has wonderful lights and windows and there are some great sitting areas. The coffee was good! There is also a selection of cakes and pastries available.

Wow. This place is stunning and amazing value for the quality of food. The spices pumpkin / cream soup is one of the best I’ve ever had and the chicken guacamole sandwich was superb. Staff were exceptional - such a lovely atmosphere to the place. We just stumbled upon this place as opposed to planning to go here and looking at its scores now they are more than deserved. Coffee was very good - not excellent - but very good...beans slightly lacking in flavour but tasty nonetheless. Brownie was divine.

Delicious cakes and coffees. Spacious second floor, great lighting, cozy interior. There are also quite a few plugs on the wall for those who need to charge their devices.

Service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. We had three different things: Focaccia, Jamon Croissant and sweet cinnamon roll. All of them were good but not mind-blowing. Overall the place is nice and most importantly it is open early in the morning and during the weekend making it one of the only options in town for breakfast during these times.

Nice friendly bar in Ushuaia, pizzas are wonderful here and the atmosphere is lively. Being a travel focused town, they see people from all over the world so are very adept at making everyone feels welcomed. Location is inside a busy plaza with parking in the rear.

My partner and I arrived before 18:00 on a Saturday. It was clean and quiet. The decor is industrial but the wood makes it feel warmer. The men's restroom was particularly imaginative (see urinal picture). Service was friendly and helpful to these non-Spanish speakers. There were about a half dozen beers on draft. We had Oshovia amber and Haku Erim which is a blond. Both were flavorful. My partner's Mussels were good and filled her. However there was no bread for soaking up the juices as is usual in the US. My basic cheese burger was more than filling. The fries were just ok.

I loved my sushi here - it was delicious, fresh, artfully crafted, and the portions were abundantly generous. I could have had just one hand roll and been satiated. This also had to be one of the best bargains in town. All said, there's very little variety in terms of the fish and roll types. Just realize that this is produced out of a tiny kiosk in a small food court and set your expectations accordingly.

There are several eating places to choose from but being a Sunday, there were limited choices. The one we got out pizza and sandwich from was pretty good. Warning: the servings are enormous. Value for money 🤣

This is one off the Main Street but very worth the trip. This is quaint and very relaxing. Tried several restaurants and bakeries during the visit. This was by far the best. The sandwich was enough for two people, the sandwich bread just melted in your mouth. The scrambled eggs and ham were delicious. If my Spanish were better I would write all the glowing words which were used to describe them. If there were any suggestions to be made it would be to add nuts to the carrot cake. Highly recommended

Stopped in here for lunch. We all chose different options- salad, wrap, toastie & ciabatta and all were delicious. Everything was freshly prepared- so nice to have fresh salad. Service was really friendly too. We took away some amazing cakes - very hard to choose between them all.

This is the first coffee place I’ve seen here in Ushuaia that has real character. It’s tiny and a bit loud, but the staff are warm and cheerful and the vibe is really nice. Also great coffee and desserts! I had a cappuccino and the banana-chocolate tart (?) pictured here.

Stopped by here walking back to our hotel. This was along the path, and it seemed very inviting! They have a good selection of drink options, and pastries available! Would highly recommend to stop by here!

We really wanted to try Yerba Mate and this place was recommended by a local. They have a Mate service for 6000 ARS. It came with all the equipment and a side of biscuits with cream cheese. They were kind enough to show us how to do it and explain the process. Highly recommend stopping here if you want to try Yerba Mate 🧉

I loved the place and the owner. The view was just so amazing that puts you right in the spirit of Ushuaia. I was there every morning for breakfast and I couldn't get enough, felt like home. Thank you very much for giving me good starting of the day! Cant wait to come back again

My wife and I stopped in during a cruise port day. All of the food and beer options are fantastic. The staff is very friendly and are patient when you don’t speak Spanish that well. There is plenty of room for large groups and they offer WiFi. They also have a small shop to buy shirts, hats, stickers, etc. if you’re interested in that. 10/10.

A very gorgeous space for a brewery with beautiful views overlooking the channel. Beers were all good, and a slightly different selection than the Patagonia in El Calafate. The wall design with the Ushuaia lighthouse upstairs would certainly make good merchandise as well.

We paid 30.000 ARS per person for New Year’s Eve reservation and nothing was included in the price. Moreover we were charged for 10% tip automatically. They offer multiple craft beers, but only few of them are on the tap. Overall the place is very nice, but it is unfortunately another tourist trap.

Great local brewery with a lively atmosphere and fantastic views of the water. They were promoting a “brut rose” which I ordered thinking it was wine (yes i know it’s a brewery but my local breweries often have wine) so I was confused to get a beer. There was a language barrier so I drank it anyways. After chatting with some people on my cruise that went here as well they said it’s a rose style beer, which is new to me. The beer was good, and I’d go back but defining confusing.

We visited Cervecería Patagonia twice during our stay in Ushuaia, and the experiences couldn’t have been more different. Our first visit was fantastic. Flor, our server, went above and beyond, guiding us through the menu with care and even offering local sightseeing tips. The parrillada was flavorful and perfectly cooked, pairing wonderfully with the Munich Helles beer. Her attentive service made the evening truly memorable, and we left eager to return. However, our second visit was disappointing. Mayra, our server, was polite but inattentive, often dismissively agreeing without addressing our requests. Despite speaking fluent Spanish, communication felt strained. The food fell short of expectations—soggy smash burgers, a dry veggie burger, and overly wet fettuccine left us underwhelmed. The beer sampler arrived disorganized, with uneven portions compared to my friend’s, and the long wait times (25–30 minutes for drinks) compounded our frustration. While the location and views are undeniably beautiful, the inconsistent quality tarnished our experience. If you decide to visit, I highly recommend asking for Flor for a truly enjoyable dining and drinking experience. Unfortunately, the inconsistency means we won’t be returning, which is disappointing given the potential for excellence on display during our first visit.

Fantastic trekking with stunning views. Lots of uphill walking and some muddy parts but not a difficult hike. Great places at the start for a meal and drinks. Trails are well marked. $10 fee to enter.

Decent hike overall, was suggested to get spikes for your shoes and hiking pole but both of those felt excessive if you have good grip as there isn't too much ice at the time I went but hard to say. I can see times where you would need spikes for sure. Decent ascent but not too bad overall in terms of the climb. Hike was busy but not to bad the first part is weird as you go through an active construction zone.

Sept.25: we wanted to fo the hike to the top. As there was lots of snow & ice it was suggested to take crampons & hiking poles. I had my own hiking poles, so we only rented crampons.

We arrived at the glacier on 3.10 that day it snowed a lot during the trip as well. We rented spikes and a walking stick for 12,000 pesos per person. It was beautiful and interesting but the weather wasn't good and we didn't see the city, only snow and white all around

Mudy wellworth the hike. Take waterproof hiking boots, plus long sleeve gaiters. Very little amount of snow/ ice in these days ( crampons were not necessary).

Nice hike possible right from Ushuaia itself. I really recommend going there on foot and not by taxi to parking at the middle of the route. The best part is through the forest between the city and parking.

Pretty lovely hike near Ushuaia city. Its not too difficulty and doesn't take too long: 10km from Ushuaia center and about two hours and a half going up to the glaciar. You can also take a taxi to the start but then its a very small hike and I personally liked to walk all the way there and back from Ushuaia. I think there a red route and a yellow one. Both go at least partly up to the glaciar. You can also follow the car road and find small pieces of trail intersected by the road easily. From the end of the car road you can choose to take the broad (former skying ground?) way or the smaller one on the eastern side of it. I took the broad one up and smaller one down. After a while, near the end, it does get a bit steeper but overall its very doable and safe. It doesn't require much experience or a good physical condition. The view up the mountain is pretty nice: you can see Ushuaia and Puerto Williams, Chile. Bring half a liter of water and some warm, waterproof clothes as it can be very windy up the mountain.

How bad can you be? Simply shameful. The staff are not nice, the service is terrible, they throw the food at you with a sense of disrespect, especially the waiter. The food is overloaded with cheese in a disproportionate way. If I’ve reached the point where I need to add ketchup to the pizza, then things are bad. The food is simply not tasty. I definitely do not recommend it.

I've been travelling around Argentina for almost a month now and I must admit I've been pretty disappointed with the average quality of the empanadas I've had. Well, that was until I found this place! The empanada dough is clearly homemade based on its flakiness and it is perfectly charred to the point that it adds a nice flavour but doesn't taste bitter. There is also a myriad of different fillings, yet they all have something in common: they're well-seasoned and freshly made! Plus, the meat ones were all incredibly tender. Hands down the best empanadas I've had in this country thus far!

I went there after seeing the photos of the menus from the Google reviews. I was excited at the idea that I may find a coffee at a reasonable price. To my surprise, when I walked into the shop, the prices of the menu on the wall were erased and I was presented with a different menu. The prices on the menu I was given was 5x more than the prices I was saw on a photo from just 1 year ago. It was a major turn off and I walked out. For vegan options they have a salad with an almond and coconut cream and lots of veggies, and a classic avocado toast or an avocado toast with the almond and coconut cream, they also have coffee with almond milk.
