Nestled in a converted gas station, Whiptail Grill is an unassuming Mexican cantina that surprises diners with its imaginative entrees and desserts. Located conveniently near two park entrances and the St. George Regional Airport, this family-friendly spot offers top-notch service and a great atmosphere for enjoying irresistible Mexican fusion cuisine. Whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, their comprehensive menu has something for everyone.
Loved this place! I came from California to visit Zion and ate at Whiptail Grill multiple times — the food was super tasty every time! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and top-notch service. The chef even came to our table personally and checked on us — such a nice touch! Friendly staff, great vibes. Totally recommend it if you’re in the area!

Went here after a long day of doing nothing. Lol. Despite it being somewhat busy there was no wait at about 7:30 pm for outdoor patio seating. Water misters were going to cool down the area and they worked surprisingly well. Ice cold water was brought promptly. Definitely was a plus just from that one action. The views from the patio were stunning at the end of the day and were another plus! We were able to order after only a few minutes of waiting. We got a cheese burger, sweet pork tacos, shrimp tacos and the fish (blackened salmon) tacos. The portions were pretty large in my opinion. The stars of the show were the pork tacos. You got 2 of them and they had a good flavor workout being drowned in BBQ sauce. I wasn't able to try the shrimp tacos but they looked delicious and were not overcooked. The ugly step child was the fish tacos. The mango salsa was excellent but the fish was overcooked and lacked seasoning. But overall the meal was very good and I will definitely be back to try their desserts.... My partner wouldn't let me have one :(

Went there for dinner and really enjoyed everything about the restaurant. We had the BBQ sampler and Chile Relleno. Both week excellent. The bbq was a generous portion that provided another meal later. The Chile Relleno was beautiful and was reminiscent of a giant jalapeño popper. Delicious. We finished with sharing the peanut butter creme brule for dessert and we both loved it. It was the best flavored creme brule ever. The PB wasn't overpowering, it just made it delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and very comfortable. The views however are stunning. Worth a visit anytime and just want to sit and stay a while.

We came in on the last Monday of October for the first night of our honeymoon. Whiptail grill could not have set the bar higher. First we started with chips and salsa, salsa was very good. For entrees, my husband got the bbq bacon Gouda burger. He liked it, nothing crazy for him. For me, wow, I got the goat cheese chille relleno. It was the best thing I ate on our entire honeymoon road trip. The plating itself was so beautiful. The heat was perfectly cooled down by the other elements of the cucumber salad and the pico. The goat cheese was perfectly warm and melty. The pepper itself was cooked to perfection. Now to say it came with the side of rice and beans?! (I added the pork) woah. So much food. It made for such a perfect combination. I would HIGHLY reccomend anyone coming to Zion to stop by, and specifically order the chille relleno!!

The staff is very friendly and the service was rather quick. The food portion sizes were very generous, too bad we weren't equipped to take leftovers. The beer and mixed drinks were well prepared and enjoyably cold on an incredibly hot day. The outdoor seating is equipped with misters, which were heavenly.
Sylvia D — Google review
Service was excellent. The food was nice! Goat cheese stuff rellino was fantastic - I added asada. Asada tacos another hit. Peanut butter habanero cream bruele was amazing - just the right note of sweet and spicy. Caesar was a great waiter.

Whiptail Grill — stopped here for dinner to enjoy some Mexican food after a long day exploring. 🌮 Food: I ordered the Whiptail Burrito, which was flavorful and satisfying, and I really appreciated the classic rice and refried beans, something a lot of places back home don’t do anymore. 👨‍🍳 Service: Our waiter, Cesar, was attentive and helpful throughout the meal. 🌅 Aesthetic: The outdoor seating provided a relaxed, scenic atmosphere that made for a perfect evening dining experience.

We visited from San Antonio's, Texas. Our server, Cesar, provided excellent service. The food was delicious. We were 3 adults and our bill was $130.00 including tip. I think it was a bit pricey however the portions were good. We ordered the asada tacos, chicken quesadillas and shrimp tacos. Its a great spot however be expecting to pay a bit.

Zion Pizza & Noodle Co. is a unique dining spot located in Springdale, Utah, at the entrance to Zion National Park. Housed in a historic Mormon church built in 1930, this eatery offers an intimate atmosphere and creative cuisine for travelers seeking a delightful break. The menu features slate-stone-cooked pizzas like the Cholesterol Hiker and Thai chicken, as well as rosemary-garlic pies.
The best pizza in town! My husband and I went two days in a row because it was just that delicious. Each time we had pizza and a local beer — perfect combo! Everything was super tasty, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend! 🍕🍺
Kasia L — Google review
Zion Pizza and Noodle Co did not disappoint at all. The pizzas were amazing and full of flavor. I ordered the rosemary garlic pizza and asked to add red sauce and pepperoni and it was honestly the perfect pizza. The rosemary and garlic with the pepperoni was such a good combo and the crust was spot on. Crunchy on the bottom but still airy and buttery with each bite and just the right amount of cheese. I added chili peppers too and they were a great touch. Our server was extremely sweet and really made sure everyone got exactly what they wanted with their pizzas. My wife ordered the White Sun and said the flavor was amazing. She added white sauce to it and liked it so much she ate the whole thing in one sitting. This place makes sense why it has so many good reviews. The pizza was phenomenal and it is absolutely worth stopping here if you are visiting Zion.
Mitchell N — Google review
I had a lovely experience at this place where people are welcome to just hang out and relax. The bar is quite charming, and their pizza options are really enjoyable. I found myself a bit puzzled, though, as I thought they might offer noodles, given the name. I was hoping to try something different if I wasn't in the mood for pizza. Unfortunately, it turned out they didn't have any noodle options. Instead, I noticed that their pizza selections were quite creative, blending various flavors in a fun way. The great thing is that if you prefer something different, you can customize your order by removing or adding toppings. Overall, we really enjoyed the pizza, and it made for a fun and pleasant outing!
BINITA R — Google review
We arrived right as they opened for some dinner earlier this week after a day in the National Park. Service was very friendly and quick. My friends and I ordered a Thai pizza (I was skeptical at first but I loved the sweet flavor) and the hiker's cholesterol (I think that's what it was called pizza). My husband also ordered a stromboli with some mustard in it (I had a few bites and it was delicious!). Delicious pizza and reasonable prices for the area!
Leah D — Google review
We really liked it here. The food was very good but definitely on the pricier side. The portions were reasonable though. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We would come back if we didn’t have to go home tomorrow.
Susi J — Google review
A cute place. Friendly waiters. Large and nicely presented dishes. The pizzas were good. The salad and pastas we ordered were less so. Reasonable prices.
Orit N — Google review
Ended up eating my meal at home because they forgot to put my order in. I was with a group of 5, everyone got their order fast and I was so excited for mine and it never showed up. After 15 min sitting and waiting I asked the gal who brought our food out where my chicken parmesan was. She checked with the waitress the waitress came out and said she apparently had missed placing my order, even though I was the first person to order. It then took another 20 minutes before they sent out the manager Cara with a to go box as requested because everyone was fine eating by the time the food came. As Cara approached our table she was very confrontational and rude. Even when someone from our group went to pass their handheld tablet to another person she said she could do it herself. I am completely in shock over how we were treated after having such an incredible day and being full of gratitude for being in Zion they were less than kind about forgetting my meal. We asked the meal be comped and they said the best they could do was 50%. As a local I will never be bringing my friends or recommending this restaurant to anyone. Everyone’s meal was nothing to go back for regardless but service is everything and how you treat your customers is key. We will not be going back. Cara needs training on handling mistakes. They happen and as a human who makes mistakes often I get it but I also treat those mistreated with much more respect especially as paying customers.
LuLaRoe H — Google review
We stopped here after a long day at the park. The restaurant looks like it was an old church building, which is funny because now it has a bar. The food was delicious. We got a dinner salad, The Works pizza and Linguine Alfredo. Definitely recommend.

Located in Springdale, Utah, at the entrance to Zion National Park, Bit & Spur Restaurant & Saloon has been a beloved dining spot since 1981. It's not just a restaurant but also a popular watering hole with an extensive selection of craft beers and fruit margaritas. The establishment hosts art exhibits throughout the year and features a spacious terrace offering views of the garden and sunset.
Cute and clean restaurant with excellent Southwestern and Mexican choices. The food was delicious, with nice portions and great flavor. Service was excellent! (Thank you Abbey!) If I lived here, I would come here very regularly. You should definitely eat here when in Zion if you like Mexican food with a Southwestern flair.

Very enjoyable dinner after a long day in an incredible setting in Springdale. If you like Mexican/Southwestern food with sprinkles of homemade influences, then this is your restaurant. Service: The waiting staff were informative, friendly and efficient. Received some great recommendations from the menu, very useful for those of us who aren't overly familiar with Mexican/SW food Atmosphere: This place gets very busy, very fast, and the noise levels shoot up quickly. It has a great energetic buzz with the waiting staff rushing about the restaurant keeping customers happy. We loved it, but it might not be ideal for someone seeking a quite retreat during dinner. Food & Drinks: From the enchiladas to the classic Mac & Cheese with a twist, everything ordered on the menu was was very tasty all round. Can highly recommend the homemade lemon & lime tart for dessert if you like a tangy but sweet combination. Finally, the cocktails were a popular choice for drinks throughout the restaurant - the watermelon margarita was out of this world tasty! Incredibly good value mocktails too.
Vistas M — Google review
This is a wonderful Mexican-style restaurant. It has a fun vibes, happy and attentive staff, and serves wonderful food. My favorite is the Wagyu Crunchy Tacos. They have a perfect ratio of meat to toppings, and the flavors explode in your mouth. Another highlight is the swordfish tacos, that had all kind of flavors and textures going on, while keeping balance over everything. Finally, this restaurant could not be in a better location. With outdoor seating, you dine beside the stunning mountain range of Zion National Park. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice meal in a nice location.

First timer to Bit & Spur on a recommended from a close one. It's about 1.5 miles from the Zion NP main entrance and a favorite to tourists. It opens at 5pm for dinner only. I arrived a few minutes early and a line of 10 at the door with more cars parking. There's plenty of seats with most sitting on the covered front patio. I sat at the bar with no problem. I had the Wagu crispy tacos (3) for starter and the Chicken enchilada combo entree plus an IPA. To my surprise food service was within minutes. Presentation was delightful and each item was designed for flavor above normal mexican entrees. I RECOMMEND Bit & Spur and will return next Zion trip.

Bit and Spur — stopped here for a quick dinner on our last night in Springdale and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. 🌮 Food: We started with chips and salsa that had a surprisingly spicy kick, followed by the roasted poblano mac and cheese, which had a fantastic blend of flavors and richness. My wife ordered the wagyu beef tacos and really enjoyed them. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. 👩‍🍳 Service: Our waitress, Shilo, was awesome. Super kind, efficient, and clearly juggling a lot of tasks with a smile. 🌵 Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm Tex-Mex charm with cozy indoor seating and great outdoor tables, perfect for taking in the Springdale evening atmosphere.

This Mexican restaurant near our hotel was absolutely amazing — not just because of the food, but because the servers were incredibly friendly, gorgeous, and stylish. Honestly, my wife and I spent more time complimenting them over a cold beer than talking about the food, ㅎㅎㅎㅎ Their outfits and overall vibe were top-notch. Most places in Springdale are great value, and this one was no exception. You should definitely stop by here before heading to Zion Canyon. Such a fun experience!
Eric K — Google review
This culinary experience was quite interesting! The dishes are delicious and filling, although I think they're even spicier than real Mexican dishes! The service was very good. The place is very pleasant and the atmosphere is calm. It was a great choice for us because most restaurants in the area close early at night, and this restaurant was open until 10 p.m.

I recently dined at Bit and Spur, and it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with fresh flavors and expertly prepared. What stood out even more was their spacious outdoor seating area, providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal. Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner, Bit and Spur offers both great food and a wonderful ambiance. American restaurant
Nestled within the Driftwood Lodge, King's Landing Bistro is a charming American restaurant offering stunning mountain views and an upscale yet cozy ambiance. With outdoor seating and a selection of handcrafted cocktails, it's an ideal spot for a special night out while visiting Zion National Park.
The food, service, and atmosphere can't be beaten here. The owners were present and incredibly friendly. The serving staff were all so friendly and incredibly helpful in selecting food. The food here in very unique and is easily the best fine dining restaurant in the Zion area. What's nice is that it doesn't feel snobby. It feels like a nice welcoming open fresh place to enjoy exquisite food. You can't pick anything wrong. Everything we ordered was wonderful. The cocktails here are all fun and tasty. We will happily come back here. Don't miss this place if you're in town. It's well worth the visit.

Very happy I came here with my friends for dinner after a long day of driving and touristing around. We were also staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located, making it convenient for us. It is also located on shuttle stop 7, which is also convenient for those along the route. We went in on a Saturday night, and although it was busy, there was plenty of seating available for an 8 pm dinner. We were sat outside and happy to be there as the weather was lovely. Our waiter was great. He was super helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The food was also scrumptious. Our party of 4 decided to share some entrees and apps. We had the steak, the lobster mac & cheese, and added a salmon to the steak entree. All were very good. I would definitely recommend a dinner here if you want something more upscale, without the pretension.
Joanna V — Google review
Really enjoyed dinner here with my wife! The appetizers were delicious. Loved the beet dish and omg the steak tar tar was so delicious!! For entrees we had the local elk. Amazing! So nice and not gamey. Great taste and spinach was nice. And chicken was good too. I enjoyed the service here really nice sweet staff and good attention here.

Best meal, by far, we had in Zion! The service was fantastic, views incredible and food outstanding. We had the lamb meatballs and NY Strip which I typically don’t love but it was a wagyu hybrid and ate very tender. The plantains that came with the steak were so good I almost asked for a side of just those. Desserts are homemade by the owner’s wife and such a perfect way to cap off the meal - we got the apple pear crumble and subbed salted praline ice cream for the vanilla and got the sticky toffee pudding. Please go, you might end up having all your dinners there 🙂
Ellary R — Google review
Hamachi crudo was a refreshing dish and very flavorful. Spanish squid was tasty with bell peppers purée and potatoes, great combination. The ribeye steak is well done to the way I really enjoyed, the pickle peppers add a good flavor to it. We are glad to find this sophisticated restaurant in Zion area.

LOVED OUR VISIT! As a former travel agent, I used to recommend this lodge to guests but never knew how great the dining was at their in lodge restaurant!! Everything we had was nothing short of amazing. We sat out on the patio with the comfort of the heaters to make it more enjoyable. During our meal, the sunset put on a grand show. 10/10 would return.
Miranda L — Google review
Great food, incredible atmosphere and wonderful service! We sat on the patio with a view of the canyon towering monoliths. Our waitress, Shyanne, was very knowledgeable of the menu offerings and shared interesting insights into the couple who prepared the meal. The food is what really shined. The mixed greens salad with citrus vinaigrette was perfectly coated over the greens, squash, red onion, goat cheese and apricot. The flavors blended beautifully and how the veggies were not overly crunchy but crisp like the lettuce. The 16 oz ribeye was done to medium rare perfection. The chimichurri sauce with Gorgonzola cheese and peppers left your mouth wanting more. The sides of potato and broccolini were a perfect addition, with the broccolini having just the right smog heat. You have to save room for their home made desserts. We had the chocolate mousse cake with coffee. To say the desert was decadent is an understatement. So many variations on chocolate and chocolate mousse with added ice cream. All I can say is WOW IT IS A PLACE ANYONE VENTURING TO ZION NATIONAL MUST GIVE IT A TRY

Nestled conveniently next to the Desert Pearl Inn, Camp Outpost is a delightful dining spot that captures the essence of rustic charm while offering breathtaking views of Zion National Park. This casual eatery specializes in rotisserie-driven comfort food, featuring mouthwatering dishes like their signature Slow Roasted Pork Sandwich and succulent rotisserie chicken. The menu boasts an array of classic American fare with creative twists, including hearty burgers, fresh salads, and shareable plates perfect for enjoying after a day of adventure.
After a long hike through the Narrows we stopped at The Camp Outpost Co and it was the perfect choice. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was cooked to perfection. The breading was light and crispy without being too heavy, and the arugula and pickled onions added such a fresh balance. The brioche bun tied it all together. I got the sweet potato fries on the side and the honey glaze they use worked so well with the sandwich giving that salty and sweet combo that just hits. We also shared the brussel sprouts and fried pickles. The brussel sprouts had a nice crisp and good sauce but the honey mustard they came with just did not pair well in my opinion. On the other hand the fried pickles were awesome, flaky, not too salty, and paired perfectly with their ranch. Lastly, the high mountain huckleberry, you have to get this drink. It is a MUST - that huckleberry flavor is awesome. My wife ordered the half chicken and it was incredible. The chicken was super moist and the chimichurri with the Yukon potatoes made it even better. Such a good mix of flavors and a great meal to end the day. Overall this was the perfect stop after hiking and I would definitely recommend it if you are in Zion.

Had a nice outdoor lunch here before going out to Zion. The view from their patio is gorgeous. Note the parking lot is before the restaurant if it is on your right side, we easily missed it. Parking is not abundant and there is a one hour limit. The service was neither good nor bad. You order at the counter and they bring you your food and drinks. No greeting, no smiles, nobody checks on you. I like that they brought us jugs of water. Ice would have been ideal given the almost 100 degree weather. Food took a while to come out but that's okay. I got their roasted pork entree. The pork was slightly dry and needed salt, but the chimichurri helped with flavor. The kale under it was fantastic!! The grits it came with were okay. It wasn't giving "grits" but more like a dry rice. The burger was good, we ordered it plain with just sauce and it was a good size and the beef was flavorful. We also got the kids chicken tenders and they were actually very delicious and tasted fresh. My one year old daughter loved the fries. Overall it's a nice lunch spot with great views. I would consider returning again on my next Zion visit.

Very casual, but really good. Parking is available, but kinda limited if busy. No problem getting a table when we dropped in on a sunday around 5pm. Modified table service where you place your order at the counter then they bring it out. Our group had the combo salad (really good), baja shrimp tacos (loved it), camp burger (you can't screw up a burger) and i had the sausage platter (all 3 different links were great, but chimmichurri sauce could have been stronger) + we started with some fried pickles and these were really tasty. A couple ice Teas and a couple waters and our bill was right at $100. Didn't seem too bad for a pretty good meals right outside of Zion National park.
Dale H — Google review
My meal(s) at Camp Outpost was probably the best food I had on my trip that included a stop in Las Vegas. Absolutely generous portions that came out fast and fresh. The sausage plate and chicken sandwich were both downright delectable and the service was also top notch and friendly. Unfortunately I was so excited to eat my food that I failed to photograph it but I did grab some pics of the sunset from the patio so that's another 5 stars for atmosphere. I'm just sad we discovered this gem on our last night in Springdale but hope to return and explore the menu more on a future trip. Definitely make this a stop on your culinary tour of Zion.

This is a counter service restaurant offering a good selection of Southwest food and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The parking lot next door offers free one hour parking for restaurant customers.
Sylvia D — Google review
My 9 year old insisted on me writing a review for this unassuming delish spot. My kids both got the burger (which turned out to be a double!) and couldn’t get enough. The meat was very good. Ask for a side of their camp sauce for dipping fries…it’s better than thousand island. Some allergy notes: not super df friendly. Had to pay extra for a gluten free bun because burgers are on a buttery brioche.
Meredith C — Google review
Camp Outpost in Zion was pretty good overall. The atmosphere was nice, clean, and welcoming, though it felt a bit warm inside. My only complaints were that they don’t provide fresh cold water and the service felt a little dry. Other than that, it was a solid spot to grab a bite.
Sarah B — Google review
March 2025. We ate dinner here twice during our visit. The staff were very friendly and patient as we deliberated on food. The burger was great, but the fried chicken sandwich was better. The rotisserie chicken was very good. Service was excellent as they'd bring bottles of water to your table. They were very attentive.

Nestled in the picturesque town of Springdale, Switchback Grille is a contemporary dining gem that offers breathtaking mountain views through its expansive windows. This elegant venue not only serves as a delightful steakhouse but also doubles as an intimate wedding location just outside Zion National Park. Couples can exchange vows on the lush lawn before celebrating in 'The Gathering,' a banquet space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor settings, all while surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
Switchback Steakhouse absolutely blew us away and deserves every one of these five stars. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. We started with a beer and a glass of wine to unwind after a long day exploring Zion, and things only got better from there. We ordered the bread, Caesar salad, berry salad, and filets cooked medium rare—and every single item was excellent. The bread was warm and fresh, the Caesar was crisp with just the right amount of dressing, and the berry salad was refreshing and perfectly balanced. But the real star was the filet. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor—easily one of the best steaks we’ve had in a long time. What truly elevated the entire experience, though, was our waitress, Amber. She was astounding—attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm and friendly. Amber made us feel like VIPs and turned an already great meal into an unforgettable one. If you’re anywhere near Zion National Park and want a fantastic dining experience, do not miss Switchback Steakhouse. It’s a perfect mix of quality food, relaxed atmosphere, and exceptional service. Ask for Amber—you’ll be glad you did.

Staff went above and beyond. We were received very well and seated immediately. Apps and drinks came very quickly. We had almost every app but the crab cakes, scallops, and thick cut bacon really stood out. For dinner i had the sausage plate with pickled veg and toasted baguette, with a side of potatoes au gratin. Desserts had many gluten free options, and we enjoyed the creme brulee, assorted sorbet and root beer float. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Utah. 10/10

The bread was phenomenal. The calamari also quite good. The meatloaf was huge portion and unique and super flavorful. Everyone's steak was cooked to perfection and great flavor. Definitely not cheap, but the service and food quality make it make sense.

We celebrated our three-year anniversary here last night and had such a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a warm western-inspired décor and the music created a relaxing, chill atmosphere. We ordered the bread, calamari, Caesar salad, salmon, and ribeye—everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, so we didn’t even have room for dessert! A great spot for a special occasion in Springdale.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Switchback grill while visiting Zion. The service was terrific. JT was our waiter. He was efficient and friendly and very helpful and engaging. The ribeye steak was grilled perfectly and was seasoned just right. Delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable and had a cosy southwest design. Highly recommend.

I was in town celebrating my birthday. All I wanted is a good steak and a glass of wine and boy this place delivered!!!! My girlfriend and I had one of thee best dining experiences ever. Amazing staff super friendly and professional. Their wine pairing was amazing for a good price per bottle. AND THE STEAKS damn. No chance I will be within an hour drive radius and not go there again. Literally best Bday restaurant ever

Food was good, nothing amazing. Service was really lacking, especially so for the type of place it's trying to be. Front of house was wonderful.
David R — Google review
We ate here as a family of 4 with our two children age 7 and 11. We all loved the food. It was fresh, prepared well. We got the trout, several sides. The kids got a burger and pasta. The service was friendly and on point. The cherry on top was the owner Kristen offered us a ride to Zion campground after we couldn’t get Uber. We will definitely come back when we are back in town.

Thai Sapa, located in Springdale, Utah near Zion National Park, offers a unique dining experience with its blend of traditional Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using high-quality ingredients to create delectable dishes such as curries, noodle dishes, and papaya salad. What sets Thai Sapa apart is the owner's personal garden where even the jalapenos are grown for an authentic touch.
Super cute restaurant. Incense smell great! The food is beautiful and tastey. The brisket bahn mi bread is perfect, although do wish you could taste the vinegar a tad bit more. The miso soup is the best I’ve ever had. The wonton soup I’ve never had in a Thai restaurant before , so maybe it’s normal; but it was sweet which was off putting. My son had the taro boba and was a huge fan. After had the fried tofu with peanut sauce. Super crispy (which she loved). Let’s not forget the view! ❤️
Kelly G — Google review
So excited to see this Thai restaurant in Springfield just outside the Zion National park, a very well decorated cozy restaurant. Foods are relatively good considering the location. Their fried rice, beef salad was really good, but the beef green curry was a little bit light & runny, although the taste was relatively good. Drunken noodles were not up to the mark. Loved their mango sticky rice. Overall we all enjoyed the dinner
Sayed S — Google review
Thai Sapa had some of the best curry I’ve had in a while. I had the green Curry, Joy had Pad Thai and we shared some pork rolls. So delicious. So flavorful. Triston was our Wait staff, and service was great! Friendly and considerate. Check it out, you will be happy you did!

Breath taking views. Outdoor seating. Here you can order different Thai dishes like Pad Thai or drunken noodles. The service was great. The flavors were right on point.
Rachel D — Google review
Absolutely loved the food! The owner is super friendly and provided great recommendations. The Kiwi green tea refresher drink and Mango passionfruit boba green tea were very refreshing. The Chicken Red curry, Tofu Green curry, fried rice and Beef stir fry were delicious. We were super hungry so did not grab pictures of the food and drinks. Highly recommend!
Aditi C — Google review
Gorgeous location and quick service. The Pad Thai and drunken noodles were tasty, the spring roll was exceedingly bland. The portions are insanely small, especially for the insanely high prices. You should get at least double the amount of food for what you are actually served. (Picture is of my Pad Thai before I ate any. It's about the size of a kids portion at a regular restaurant, but cost $20!) If I had it to do over, I would skip this place and go somewhere where I could actually get full on my dinner.

Meh... I was hungry after long hike. I got the Pho w chicken(?my bad Vietnamee at Thai). The view from the patio was great. The food and service not so much. I think the owner was serving all the tables (4-5) and I was in a hurry. Not the best combo.

Excellent food and good vegan/vegetarian options. A little pricey but not out of line with other restaurants in the area.

Nestled in Springdale near Zion National Park, the Spotted Dog is a charming restaurant offering a unique dining experience with picturesque mountain views. The upscale yet welcoming ambiance features exposed wood beams and large windows that perfectly frame the surrounding natural beauty. The eclectic menu boasts seasonal American meats, salads, and pasta dishes, all made with locally-sourced ingredients.
Yes, the prices are a bit on the higher side, and sure — I wouldn’t have minded a slightly broader menu. But overall, this place truly delivers. The service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. Our host was incredibly welcoming, and the entire staff carried themselves with professionalism and warmth. What really stood out: we were already seated inside and had our starters served, but when we asked to move to an outdoor table, they accommodated us immediately — no questions asked, no attitude. Just smooth, effortless hospitality. Our server struck the perfect balance — attentive when needed, and respectful of our space when we were engaged in conversation. This kind of experience isn’t easy to come by. Absolutely five stars, well earned.

We had such a lovely dinner at Spotted Dog Restaurant in Zion! The service was friendly and our food came out surprisingly quick, which was a nice treat after a long day exploring the park. I ordered the lamb shank, which was tender and full of flavor, and my partner had the purses pasta with chicken — both dishes were delicious and well-prepared. We also enjoyed a simple side of bread, which was fresh and the perfect complement to our meal. Overall, the atmosphere was cozy, the staff welcoming, and the food absolutely worth it. A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a good meal while in Zion!

Went with my husband for out anniversary. It was fantastic! Delicious, high quality food. A fancy restaurant atmosphere without being snooty. Our server Anna was superb! She was friendly and kept our drinks filled, but wasn't overbearing. All in all, probably the best restaurant experience I've ever had. I wish I could give them more stars!
Alyssa S — Google review
Such a lovely spot just a couple of minutes from Zion National Park! The atmosphere is great and the staff is amazing — when we first arrived, there were no tables available outside, and it was freezing inside because of the AC. The staff noticed us bundling up in our sweaters and managed to find us a table outdoors, which we really appreciated. Dinner for four came to about $172 (without alcohol). Everything we ordered was delicious, though I have to say the bison ground meat is definitely more of an acquired taste. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!
Tsova A — Google review
Ordered the lamb shank and burger. My boyfriend enjoyed the burger but the lamb shank was nothing special. Especially for the price. The peas had an unpleasant hard texture and the carrot was undercooked. The sauce mentioned for the lamb was more of a light drizzle… certainly not enough to offset the bland fingerling potatoes and the shank was on the dry side. Food was presented well and the property has beautiful views from the outdoor seating area. Our server was very pleasant and we had timely service despite being understaffed.

The Spotted Dog is amazing! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Our bartender, Laura, was fantastic, and the restaurant manager, James, was an absolute hoot! What a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and even better people. We can’t wait to go back!

Visited in the evening before dinner time. Good variety of drinks. We liked the spiced pineapple ginger one. Also the burger was presented well and tasted good. No specific parking but close to stop 3 of Springdale line bus.

My friends and I went to Zion Canyon and saw this place coming down, looked at the reviews and decided to give it a try! Food was decent, some foods lacked flavor and some were too salty. I ordered the BBQ platter just for reference. I understand bbq is typically a bit saltier/tangy just because of the sauce. However, I had downed so much water due to the sodium and I was too full to finish my food. Other than that we had a good time and service was great!

Burgers and chicken sandwiches were really good. The rice bowl was very good as well. Service took a little bit of time but not bad, is pretty small dining room.

What drew us in was the restaurant's deacription. They state they have a scenic view, see attached photo. Most of their balcony overlooks the side of a hotel, with a sliver of scenic view...the service was good but the food was only okay for the price.

When you are from the south, and travel, it is hard to find good service along with good BBQ. That is exactly what you will get @ Jack's Sports Grill. We have had many bad experiences but this was not one. The waiter was courteous, prompt and attentive. The BBQ was top notch. The sauce was smokey, sweet with a kick at the end.

I loved Jack’s! Our server was great, fast service and delicious food. The food is pretty pricey, at about $28 per person with the drinks and an add on. This makes sense being in a tourist town, but I felt it wasn’t quite worth the full amount. Normal fries are better than sweet potato fries, which is rare.

Sol Foods Supermarket is a versatile establishment in Springdale, Utah, offering a wide range of services. It serves as a grocery store, bakery, deli, coffee shop, and hardware store all in one. Conveniently located near the pedestrian entrance to Zion National Park and another location on Zion Park Blvd., it's an ideal stop for travelers needing supplies or looking for a quick meal before heading out to explore the park.
We spent two days in Springdale and did our shopping at this supermarket 2 or 3 Times such there are many good products and choices. The products were great, Fresh, hiking material, and very clean. Fresh soup, salads, bakery, drinks, …… But above all, the staff were friendly !!!!! As proof, on my last day, I lost a cap I'd bought there. Thanks to Lourdes (thank you! 🙏🏼), I was able to reorder a cap, which she sent me after two or three emails. A REALLY GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR SHOPPING.

The coolest little grocery store I've ever visited right outside of Zion National Park. They have everything you'll need for your hikes trips and hotel rooms. They have lots of prepared food so you don't even have to cook! There's salsa was amazing! Almost as good as my homemade salsa!

This is a great grocery store right out of Zion. It has a nice selection of food and non food items, and offers a decent amount of gluten free/paleo food options. I can’t have gluten so this place was a life saver for someone like me. We packed as much as we could from home for a week of camping, but still needed to refresh on a few perishables. My only issues was with the pricing. I get that it’s a tourist town, and things are going to cost more, but most of the food I normally buy was double, or more than double, what I normally pay compared to the Whole Foods near my house. That just feels wrong to me. Still, I’m thankful this place had the options I needed.
Jen R — Google review
Nice for a small town. Supermarket. During the day time they have some hot foods and soup reasonable priced and decent taste. Everything in town is expensive as to be expected but it's nice to have a market to go to and pricing is ok and to be expected. Soup we had was pretty hearty and came with free saltine crackers which complemented the soup perfectly. And yes I did try the fresh big cookie they were selling at the register. It satisfied my cookie craving.
Johnny T — Google review
Great little market with a really good selection for a small town! Perfect for stocking up on supplies while visiting Zion. They have everything you need from groceries to camping essentials. The salad bar is fantastic - fresh ingredients and great variety. It's a perfect healthy option after a long day of hiking. Really impressed with the quality and selection they offer.
Andy M — Google review
SOL is a small supermarket with a surprisingly good selection of fresh produce. Prices are on the higher side compared to other local options, but the quality and variety help balance that out. Service is consistently good, making shopping here a pleasant experience overall.
Ron S — Google review
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this grocery store deserves to be called out. The prices here are absolutely outrageous — we’re talking triple or quadruple what you’d pay anywhere else for the same basic items. It felt less like shopping and more like being taken advantage of. A small carton of eggs? Nearly $9. A loaf of bread? Over $7. The smallest jar of mayonnaise $10, a small box of Ziploc bag bags was $14, a bag of potato chips was $10! These aren’t specialty or organic products — just standard items at luxury prices. It’s clear they’re gouging customers, especially those who may not have other options nearby. They are taking advantage of the tourists in this town. Even local shop owners told us that this grocery store intentionally takes advantage of the visitors of Zion. I’ll go out of my way next time to shop elsewhere. No one should have to pay these kinds of prices just to feed their family. Do better.

Nestled conveniently across from Zion Pizza & Noodle Co, Porter's is a charming eatery that embodies a relaxed roadhouse atmosphere perfect for all-day dining. This inviting spot serves up classic American dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests rave about the hearty Rocky Mountain omelet and the delightful chicken fried steak to kickstart their mornings. During my stay at Bumbleberry Inn, I was fortunate enough to enjoy several meals here thanks to some vouchers!
Yummy....After a long day of hiking our bodies needed FOOD. Porters offers a broad menu with incredible burgers. The chicken sandwich was pretty delicious as well. Staff did start off very slow but were friendly and polite. Everything was expensive but expected being the entrance to a national park.

We walked into Porter’s for dinner and loved it! The place has a cozy, old-school diner vibe that feels really inviting. We ordered the burger and the shrimp pasta—both were delicious and satisfying. Great spot to grab a hearty meal after a day of exploring Zion. Shoutout to Cindy for the great service!

I had a wonderful experience with a beautiful view and some delicious food. They even have an ice cream stand nearby, which adds a lovely touch--you can enjoy a sweet treat after your meal or while shopping for some bumblebee berries. I ordered the eggplant pasta, which was truly delightful. I did request it to be made without garlic, but l have a feeling they might not have accommodated that. I was quite hungry at the time and didn't want to make a fuss. For anyone who has allergies to onion or garlic, I would suggest being cautious when dining there. Overall, though, the food was good, and the atmosphere was inviting. The service was outstanding as well; the staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. It's clear that the servers take pride in their work!

Good food with generous portions. You have to try the sweet potato fries. We both got drinks and they were phenomenal. Dog friendly patio with wonderful views. Our waitress kind of disappeared so that was the only downside. A little pricey but expected this close to Zion.

We had the absolute best experience at Porters for our anniversary dinner! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel celebrated—everyone went out of their way to wish us a happy anniversary and make us feel right at home. Our waitress, Jenn, was incredible. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and she made the night truly special for us. The food was out of this world—the steak was the best I’ve ever eaten. It came out hot, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The combination of amazing service, warm atmosphere, and unbeatable quality (at a price that matched the value!) made this an unforgettable evening. Thank you, Porters, for helping us celebrate in such a memorable way—we’ll definitely be back!

The personal pepperoni pizza was indeed sized for 1, but tasted great! My wife's salmon florentine was also very good. Service was fast and our server very nice.

It’s an informal place to come after your hike. We came after a huge group so it took a bit for our server to take care of us but they were ver accommodating. We had the checking wings and artichoke dip as an entrance which were good. And for dinner we had the New York Steak and the sirloin. Everything was good. Easy and simple
Cristina P — Google review
We had a wonderful time here. The place was busy even on a weekday. I like that because that means fresh food! Their menu has lots of variety. Something for everyone. The wood fired pizza was very nice. Their trout was delicious. Salmon was nice too. Pasta was above average. They don’t serve halal food so we had only seafood and veg options. The staff is super friendly. We will definitely eat here when we visit the area again.

Nestled near the stunning Zion White Bison Resort in Springdale, Utah, Wild Thyme Cafe at Trees Ranch is a top dining spot to complement outdoor adventures. The cafe offers delicious food like Pistachio Chicken and Cowboy Ribs, along with wonderful service from friendly staff like Jessica. The atmosphere is inviting with a large dog-friendly grass yard and picnic-style bench seating.
We stopped here after a long day of hiking in Zion National Park for a bite and beverages. The main restaurant is surrounded by a fruit tree farm and tables on the lawn. The red rocks make a great backdrop while you're relaxing with a beverage. We had the Piggy Sliders and a beer. The sliders were excellent. We were fixing dinner at home later so we didn't order entrees but everything we saw around us looked delicious and that was backed up by the comments we heard. We're thinking about a day trip back here for lunch again soon.

Absolutely delicious! Relaxed and beautiful atmosphere - we chose to be seated outside and the view alone is worth it. Husband ordered the elk burger which was really delicious - not gamey but more of a meaty flavor which is hard to describe but it was juicy and delicious, I tried it! I had the pistachio chicken which sounded unique and I'm glad I got it. Very generous portion and the flavors were subtle and flavorful.. The entire staff was also friendly and that is always a plus! Highly recommend if you are in the Springdale/Zion area!

Wild Thyme Cafe was recommended by friends, and it did not disappoint. The service was wonderful - thanks for the conversation and amazing service, Sami! We shared the Big Sexy Burger then apple crisp with ice cream for dessert. So incredible! The whole burger was really tasty, but the bacon stole the show. This cute cafe is just close enough to Zion NP to be convenient, but far enough away to avoid the craziness. Such a relaxing, beautiful spot, with spectacular views of the mountains. There was a large tour group eating at the same time we were there, yet the service never faltered and the staff never seemed stressed or wavered in their friendly attitude. Now we'll be recommending Wild Thyme to others!

We had a really nice lunch at wild time on our last day in Utah. We’ve been to some other restaurants in Springdale that were honestly quite stellar, so to finish up the week with this restaurant was exciting because we wanted to try it out. But we also were comparing it to the others in town that we had gone to and loved. I got the yellow curry, which was a vegetarian dish and brilliant enjoyed it. It was a bit spicy though. My mom got a soup and salad which we’re both good. She also got a pineapple Mojito, which she really loved. I got the wild time, honey rye bourbon cocktail, I wanted to love it so much, but it was just too sweet. My only reason for not leaving a five star review, was just I was surprised that the server never came back to check on us after our food had arrived. My mom needed some extra dressing and we wanted to order another drink, but he never came out to check to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything. When it was time for us to go, I had to go in and ask for the check, to Which, found him just kind of hanging out inside. it wasn’t super busy so I don’t really know why he didn’t come back out to check on us after our food arrived. Not a huge deal and I would go back, because the food was yummy and the service otherwise was great. Maybe it was just an oversight. This was a Really cute spot with nice atmosphere and mountains in view!

This has one of the best restaurant atmospheres out there! We got the tomato basil soup and salmon cakes special and both were phenomenal! Views are spectacular and they have plenty of outdoor seating looking at the spectacular rock formations surrounding being so close to Zion. Service was also friendly and on point Highly reccomend this place.

I had their bestseller, Pistachio chicken while my sister had the bison tenderloin. My chicken was indeed like a warm hug on a plate (crew description). It was bursting with flavors and the texture was on point. My sister said she should have ordered the same dish instead of the bison steak which was not medium rare as ordered... the kitchen cooked another piece for her when she called the crew's attention but it was still not medium rare as requested...

If there is one place you need to dine in Springdale and the Zion National Park, This is the place. In a grassy backyard, you'll find an outdoor dining area under the trees with a view of the Red rocks. There are great entrees including a few vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. I had the bean burger sliders which had a pineapple slice and an aioli topping that was amazing. The curry bowl was a delicious combination of greens, rice and chickpea cakes. The service was perfect as well. They had a blackberry jalapeno. Margarita which paired well with the Curry.
