Found the restaurant on Tripadvisor and highly recommend. Friendly - English speaking - staff, very delicious food and wine. Definitely not expensive considering the high quality! Worths the few minute ride from Abano

A pleasant surprise. We had a delightful evening here with much better than expected food - in variety and quality. Service was attentive and the owner makes sure to come around and talk to everybody (mostly about food and football). The place itself is very nice - at the same time modern and cosy. Definitely worth a visit.

Highly recommend! We just turned up and were lucky to get a table. If we ever go again, we'll phone to reserve first. The food was fantastic!

It's a very beautiful place, you wouldn't imagine that something like that existed in the area. And so I recommended it to my friend, after eating pizza there once. However, the difference between the first and second experience is that for the first we arrived at the time they were just opening, so they paid attention to us. The second time I was there with my friend, I had fried seafood, a meal that took an eternity to arrive. My friend's food arrived on time and I had to watch him eat. The drink I ordered never arrived. I had to ask several times before it arrived almost an hour later. It was a virgin cocktail with some celery and fennel in it. Dessert was good as seen in the pics. Back home at 2:30AM, I woke up with a terrible running stomach and vomiting. I couldn't go to work the next day and the discomfort lasted all morning. I've not had this experience in years. Unfortunately, I believe the foods aren't fresh as should be. Also, the lady who was in charge of the bill was very rude. The waitresses were kind, but I guess due to the high number of customers they find it difficult to manage the tables. Maybe if I go there again I'll stay away from seafood and vegetables, which unfortunately are meals I eat often.

We book dinner at 19.30 for 6 persons , and we are informed to leave at 21. Ok we order pizza and hamburgers in 25 min but pasta with scampi didn t arrived till 2035,our friend had to drive 4 hours to home so they just didnt eat. Pasta was not on plour bill , but timing was not ok, price, service food was ok but time to get food us not ok

It's a good and cosy place to eat and have a chat with family and friends. Food preparation and serving is pretty fast. Traditional Italian foods are tasty. It has large capacity but better to book in advanced.

The atmosphere in this place is great. They have tables outside, by the pool, on the grass, or inside with air conditioning for hot Summer days like in our case. The portions are huge, so be careful how much you order. The serving and plating is very good. All in all you can spend some quality time here with your friends and family. Be careful thought, because it can get pricey.

I cannot recommend La Posata Bianca enough! My mother and I stopped in to Padua for a few days during our summer trip, and this spot was a highlight of our trip. Incredible service (we loved our time with Niko), food, and presentations. Such an intimate yet elegant spot!

We have gone there 2x. We will most likely return to this restaurant once more before returning to Rome then Carmel.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Ristorante Aubergine in the outskirts of Padova. Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Very high quality service. Perhaps for the first time I meet a team of professionals (both an amazing restaurant chef and wonderful waiters) who are in love with what they do. The zucchini flowers were crispy, but not dry, but juicy and without a huge amount of flour (I had to try those too). Rabbit meat is very tender, so it just melts in your mouth. Large portions. Everything is excellent!

Extremely disappointing experience at this highly overrated restaurant. After we asked our waiter for more time to review the menu, she never returned to take our order, leaving us unattended for 20 minutes. We had to flag down another server to take our order. When the food arrived, everything was dumped on the table at once, resulting in cold main course by the time we finished our appetizers. The host, who had initially greeted us, spent all time socializing and drinking with other patrons. To top it off, we were never offered dessert or a complimentary limoncello, unlike other tables. Classic italian homestyle restaurant with great service and delicious food. Don’t expect a regular menu, it’s more at the whims of the chef. You get a sample of three different pasta dishes and then a nice juicy steak filet. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Street parking only and definitely need to book ahead.

What a fantastic meal we’ve just eaten here. The food and service were exceptional and it was very reasonably priced for our family of 5. The kids loved it and we all left very full after a great experience of real Italian cooking. The food was delicious, I had pizza salami and it was really awesome. But unfortunately, the staff was terrible. Our waiter had language difficulties and made a mistake in our order. We waited more than hour for our food, then I asked another waiter how long should we wait. We found out, that our waiter didn't give the order to the kitchen. We waited 10 minutes more and then finally, we got our food. But it was not complete, my friend didn't get his salad. Then I asked the waiter again and he told me, that we didn't order any salad. I was really upset. The other waiter came to say sorry for the mistakes. But it was still annoying.

We visited La Scala in Padova based on good reviews but were disappointed. While the food was delicious, the service lacked warmth, and the charges were excessive. For two adults and a 4-year-old, we paid €137 for one full Rombo fish, a starter, a tiramisu, and a scoop of ice cream. They even charged €4 for a bottle of water and €4 per person for service, including our child. The food was good, but the lack of hospitality and unexpected costs were disappointing.

Nice atmosphere of the restaurant. We sat at a table on the terrace where the cooling fan was running in the evening so it wasn't hot. The tuna tartar was very fresh, original sauce and capers. The grilled sea food (which includes half a lobster) and vegetables were very tasty, although I thought the lobster was just boiled. All this is complemented by a magnificent franciacorta. By the way, I noted the original serving of homemade dessert tiramisu.

Sure, this place is expensive, but the service is impeccable. The seafood as fresh as possible, the wine selection, perfect and the biggest bottle of grappa I've ever seen! I was there for lunch, took a seat outside and enjoyed the excellent service and phenomenal food. They also speak English and have a English menu. Even it is next to the street it is quiet as there are no cars passing by and the sitting areas is shaded by greens. They have WiFi available. For a drink I just ordered a bottle of natural water. On my plate was cod fish with a crispy potatoe layer on the top and mixed vegetables like zucchini and onions, as a side I had a mixed salad. The salad was a bit pricy compared to the volume, but fresh. The fish tasted very fresh and was a good portion. I received extra lemon, which was nice. Even they closed the restaurant for a afternoon break, nobody pushed me to go. In the end I paid 40 EUR.

The restaurant is great one of the best experience in Abano Therme, we had a fine selection of cheese with different kinds of sweet chutney and honey and also great food with grapa and wine. The staff was very kind and nice (thank you lady from Ukraine, sorry don't remember the name 🙂).

The great atmosphere in this wonderful restaurant starts with mr. Elko! A professional multilingual Dutch waiter, who can explain you everything in 3-4 different languages…. The “classic tartare” and the traditional “carbonara” are the hottest hits! Give a try guys and you will not regret it! It’s one of the best and minimal restaurants in town!

The best Japanese restaurant around Padova. You can drink Asahi beer from tap. I’ve never seen Asahi beer tap in Europe except this restaurant. Especially Tempura was good!! My daughter likes Ikura maki. My son likes Gyoza. All dishes level are height. I’d go there again.

Nice Pizza, from long time in the pizza business local family. They are particullary proud of their "livito madre" ( mother yeast) the unique yeast that the family developed in years. This yeast is daily feeded with fruit an sugar, so their pizza is quite easy to digest. Better booking in advance, expecially in weekends, to avoid the risk of queuing a bit outside. Prices are a bit higher compared to similar places.

This year Verbena redeemed itself a bit already 3 years trying to find something worth to mention beside. Ok food. I had the cozze and were nice and good. The only thing it missed was salt. I added myself and was ok. I am wondering how this can be missed in cozze... Yes. Service ok , I assumed many trainees in service, which I liked as I know how difficult is the industry. All very wide eyed and anxious (learning in front of people is tough) but good and trying to help. Pizza my boyfriend took was ok. Nothing special. Bread not salted. I don't get why not using more salt ?

Upon entering, you find yourself in front of a very stylish bar. Unfortunately, we hadn’t made a reservation, and the staff recommended that we should. Luckily, we still managed to get a table and have dinner. The menu is quite straightforward, offering a decent variety of choices including meat, fish, fried dishes, and a few pizzas, simple but diverse. We ordered an aperitif, pizza, and a portion of French fries. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and the service was quick. The pizza was average: tasty, though the dough felt a bit heavy. The portion of fries, on the other hand, was very generous. The atmosphere was calm, and the dim lighting made the experience very pleasant. Prices, however, are on the higher side.

If you want great food, big portions and wonderful hospitality, this is your place. As a bonus, dogs are allowed and get water in a bowl. 👍🏻

The environment, food and service are incredible. They bring the picanha in a stone pan, where you can cook as you like. Just thought it was a little expensive. But for a dinner night it was perfect for us.

The worst restaurant in Abano Terme, that's probably why it was empty, three tables were occupied all night. Anyone who writes a positive review about this restaurant is LIING. The dish looks nice in the pictures but it's inedible. We ordered Picanha, we got meat that was inedible, tough, full of veins, and most importantly, totally tasteless, they put some spices in it, trying to give it at least a little flavor, but without success. The food was disastrous, but the restaurant staff was even worse. No one speaks a word of any other language except Italian, I understand that, but to have them start shouting at you because you don't understand them, that's terrible. And finally, the biggest surprise. Since you don't know Italian (google translate doesn't help, I tried) you order a specialty and when you pay they charge you 30-40% more meat because you're buying a piece of meat that you haven't seen and that no one told you how heavy it is, but since no one speaks a foreign language, they can calculate it for you as they please. Wow what an amazing place, truly lovely hosts which were expressive and passionate. As we cannot speak Italian and they could not speak English we listened and understood their pointing out on the menu and took up their recommendation, sizzling steak veg and fries.

The pizza was really great, not only tasty but also I did not face any issues digesting it (for me it's often the case) even if it was quite big. The service was really friendly and fast. The place is not big however thanks to a wall of mirrors it feels spacious and the very nice, nautical themed decorations make it interesting and cozy. The dessert I've tried was ok but nothing special and smallish, the lemon sorbetto was great though. It does not have a private parking but anyway there's a public one besides the pizzeria.

(Didnt matter to me) When we got the menu cards, I was instantly disgusted. You clearly saw all those insect egg's and dirt all over the menu card "wrappers". We ordered Pizza and Coke. Coke was in a can, nothing wrong with that. The Pizza was bad. Its dough was really dry, probably a few days - weeks old. The rest of the pizza didnt really have any taste, just that taste of "old". To be honest, a 1€ frozen Pizza is better in my opinion. A few hours after that Pizza, we both, my girlfriend and me felt sick. Our stomach hurt bad. Legit everything there was dirty. That salt and pepper shaker were dirty, looked like there was snot on the salt shaker. Very disgusting. Never going back there, ever again. My Japanese & Chinese are limited, but my guess is 'shanaru' translates as something like 'to shout' - curiously there's another sushi spot in Abano Terme called 'Speak Easye'. Shanaru has a respectable rating, despite some harsh reviews. Their table service USED TO BE lacking more than 18 months; but, since 2021, they seem to be paying attention to reviews & are rapidly improving. On our latest visits, the change is noticable. They sincerely ask if guests are OK with where they are being seated, apologize if there happens to be unexpected noises, make efforts to space tables ... they are successfully trying harder. They return often to clear away dirty tableware. They are investing in their interior & repairs, which is perhaps wise. It's outside the more popular tourist areas. Parking is good, but not just in front. Their bathroom has a single stall - no baby changing area or handicap accessories - and is kept relatively clean. The restaurant is definitely not wheelchair accessible, at least easily - except perhaps for eating at the front patio - which is a bad idea as there is too much start-stop traffic & horrid cigarette smokers closeby. It is close to the local bus stops. They have an above average to very good sushi chef(s). They along with the other food prep staff are why you go to Shanaru! They prepare standard Asian dishes typically found in Italy at a very high level of competence - especially relative to price. Their ingredients are always fresh enough, their presentation clean and precise, portions are average. In today's economy, no one should be complaining about the prices at Shanaru. The flatware & cutlery are always clean. I know I couldn't keep a similar restaurant open at double their prices. Their 'all you can eat' lunches & suppers are competitively priced. As some others noted, their udon is quite good as well as their tempura dishes. I can't say it's 'gourmet' level cooking, but again, you're not paying 'gourmet' prices. The ambience is a little claustrophobic when it's busy & service does slow down at those times - AS IT WOULD IN ALL RESTAURANTS. In late 2022 and the start of 2023, the food flavours have become even better! Also, in 2023, the dishes arrive at least twice as fast as they used to. All told, I think service matches similar sized places. There are about 25 to 35 tables for two, four or six people. There is nothing unique or innovative about Shanaru's menu. They don't have 'signature' dishes. They are consistent, trying very hard to listen & improve, quick to respond to questions & problems. There are limited windows - except for a few tables on the second level - so, the time of day is irrelevant. Noise is low & it is possible to converse as there is no loud music playing — although they do have music playing. I could agree with some earlier negative reviews - BUT - in the past year, even weeks, I see a huge improvement toward customer service. It is best for tables of four adults or less, who want to chat. Best for sushi fans & cold weather dining. They have at least one highchair. Some 'nutritional' information on the menus. The all-you-can-eat menu is competitively priced. Drinks and desserts are extra to the base all-you-can-eat prices. Ordering a la carte can also be very inexpensive for a light lunch. You don't have to wait for a check, you just note your table number and tell the cashier when you pay. I believe they accept most major credit cards. Shanaru offers pleasant, quality westernized 'Asian' dining. I find my experience improves with each visit.

We have reserved 30 rooms from Hallmark Tours and we all are on vacations from USA. This is one of the worst hotel i ever stayed. AC is not working at all in all the rooms we complained so many times. Staff is so rude they don’t want to listen even complain. Stay away from this hotel. Worst experience ever.

Nice little hotel with underneath spa. Rooms have recently been restored and are extra clean. Prices are very affordables: 120 erous for a two day staying, double room with private bath, and breakfast and access to pool included. The spa is little but nice, with warm thermal water, sauna and lots of different bubble massages. Personnel very kind abd helpful. You don't need to carry swim towels, bathrobe, slippers, swim cap. For only 10 euro they give you a complete spa or bath kit. Only pity it not have an outdoor swimming pool.
