If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, look no further than I Sapori di Marianna... Eno-Trattoria. This charming eatery, named after the matriarch of the family that runs it, offers a menu filled with Mediterranean treasures. Guests can indulge in simple yet exquisite dishes like roasted vegetables, fresh pasta, and seafood specialties. The standout dish is undoubtedly the mouthwatering aubergine parmigiana.
Really a hidden gem of a place! Couldn’t recommend more. All the food and ingredients are locally sourced and so carefully selected! The atmosphere is great, feels like you’re at a beautiful Italian outdoor dinner party. And the service was amazing - special shout out to Edward who was so lovely!

Super quiet off-season lunch, the staff made us feel super welcome! Amazing selection of products with good wine. The dishes were traditional with a twist of that made the difference. Highly recommended
Thomas C — Google review
Lovely restaurant! A bit tricky to find at first as it’s tucked away at the back of the garden, but definitely worth it. The dishes are made with local products from the region, full of flavor and authenticity. The owner/waiter is very passionate and dedicated, which really adds to the experience. Delicious food and a great atmosphere!

What an amazing find. The service is 100% with lovely warm and friendly staff and the food is delicious, tasty and home cooked. The front of house staff are also knowledgeable on wine. I will defo go back
Lisa D — Google review
A fantastic experience with great food incredible service (the two brothers provided an impeccable service, were super attentive, and suggested a brilliant local wine). We tried the tasting menu which was great value. The parmigiana was amazing and you could tell that the recipe was an old family one. The ambience was great too. Lovely views at dusk with sights of the Christ the redeemer which made the experience even more memorable. Thanks for a top quality evening.

My goodness. I am still having a dinner with my friends and writing this review. We are traveling for three weeks and ate in many good restaurants including Michelin Star. But this place is really special and deserves all stars. Delicious food, excellent service and very pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant is # 1 by all measures. Try it. You will not regret.

Wonderful family business with great menu and wine list. Service is super friendly and competent. We can 100% recommend.

Nestled along the picturesque port of Maratea, Tre Nodi- Ristorante sul Porto di Maratea offers an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly blends stunning views with delectable cuisine. After a delightful boat ride, guests can unwind with an aperitif and indulge in elegant dishes like calamari salad. The ambiance is serene, enhanced by soothing music and a beautiful outdoor setting adorned with flowers and palm trees—ideal for watching the sunset.
After a marvelous boat ride, we stopped in for an appertif and snack. They served a calamari salad that was very elegant! The atmosphere was relaxing with tasteful music. We decided to stay for dinner to watch the sunset from their beautiful outdoor dining area, surrounded by flowers and palms and lit for perfect ambiance! Alessandra and all the wait staff were very courteous and attentive! The chefs accommodated our special requests graciously! I ordered a delicious dish of pasta and clams and entrecôte cooked to perfection paired with red wine! We finished with mixed salad and a chocolate mousse rum and almond cake that was muy delicioso! This was one of our favorite meals so far in the entire area of Capri, Positano, and Maratea! Bravo, Tre Nodi!
Beaton F — Google review
First off i like to say I have never in my life written a review. This place is very dangerous! There is nothing fresh about this food which is sad because it is on the port. The antipasto came out first which was okay, then the muscles which were not bad. But the octopus was inedible. The taste was like old frozen octopus that was defrosted quickly. Then came the first plates. Wich was a pasta with shrimp and stracciatella. This is what set it off, not only was there no flavor but the pasta was way overcooked and the best part was the head of the shrimp and the tail were 2 different species of shrimp. You could tell that the head of the shrimp were reused as a decoration because the inside was hollow and the other shrimp smelled and tasted like it was defrosted incorrectly, the meat of the tail was crumbling as soon as you cut it. I don't care about the money spent but the health of the customers is number 1 and they don't seem to know that. I am in business myself and I do not understand how this place is still open.

Great experience! Rosita the waiter was super professional! I will come back thanks to her kindness and the quality of the food
Francesco P — Google review
Rosita is very good, caring, wonderful in table service. Food and view is 1000/10 🙏🏻
Lisa B — Google review
The location, the view and the food were amazing. However, it was the friendly service, their great effort to make us feel as comfortable as possible which makes this one of our favorite restaurants in Italy. Even though they spoke little English they did a good job at explaining everything we needed to know. Rosita is 'strong', funny and a great waitress as are all the other whose names we don't know.
Robert R — Google review
Wonderful view that was matched by the food!!!
Steve R — Google review
Do not visit! We didn't have a good time. The staff didn't know English and was impatient, burrata was good but everything else was bearly edible. To top it all of super over priced.
Tom K — Google review
Waste of money don’t sit here! Food was below average and pricy on top of all. But the main thing that made the experience horrible was the rude staff that didn’t know English with zero hospitality

Nestled high above the picturesque port of Maratea, Yumara - Le Terrazze del Gusto is a culinary gem that captivates visitors with its stunning views and diverse menu. This welcoming restaurant offers an array of delectable options, from mouthwatering pizzas to exquisite seafood dishes. Diners rave about the risotto, claiming it to be one of the best they've ever tasted. The ambiance is enhanced by a beautiful setting that makes every meal feel special, even on breezy days.
If you are around you need to go to this place. Really recommend the risotto, it's the best that I ate in my life. The other dishes that we order was also tasty. The view is speechless. It was windy, but it's worth it so much. Would definitely come here again if I will have a chance in the future.
Valeria G — Google review
I would only recommend this place for the view. We were 3 people with 4 different kind of pizza, every single one was very disappointing. The ingredients were not classical and seemed completely random. We trusted the menu but everything seemed like it was mixed together without a plan. One of the pizzas was even very bitter. The classical one was the best, but still not very good. The drinks had almost no alcohol in them but were very expensive. Service was ok, but not outstanding. The only star is for the great view and nice Ambiente.
Linus B — Google review
Very beautiful restaurant, with great views to the port..Great Pasta and sea food options, very friendly staff very good service! Nice prices

Amazing view of the port, very cool vibe with live music. We have not tried the food but only drinks and it was ok

Excellent seafood. Recommend the swordfish and the tuna with pesto. Nice view over the harbor. Staff refused to serve the kid a pizza. The service was slow and inattentive, they also forgot to serve a dish.
Lothar S — Google review
Great pizza, great view and helpful staff! We hadn’t booked a table but the staff were very accommodating and managed to squeeze us on the bar looking over the port. Super friendly staff who offered us mosquito spray and helped us learn a little more Italian. Highly recommend

If you find yourself in Maratea, the only town in Basilicata that graces the Tyrrhenian Sea, make sure to visit La Cambusa. This charming family-run restaurant is helmed by the talented 25-year-old chef Gloria Limongi, who took over from her grandparents. With a culinary diploma under her belt, Gloria passionately blends quality and tradition in her dishes.
La Cambusa isn't only a beautiful restaurant with a very cozy and welcoming ambience, it is also one of the best culinary experiences I've had. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared with fresh local ingredients and beautifully presented. I am plant based (I mentioned it ahead of time when booking the table) and I was met with options that weren't only rich in flavour but also abundant. Overall delicious food and amazing and attentive service. I can't thank Gloria and her family enough, as we had one of the best dining experiences this summer here. I can't wait to go back next year!
Nath G — Google review
I would like to say that first and foremost, they are extremely overpriced so be wary. The food was very delicious but I have to say the portions were laughable. I felt scammed because almost everyone was left unfulfilled. Some actually order a second main course because of the size. I ordered a small tomato pasta dish for my child and that was 20€ alone. Knowing the median of cuisine prices in Italy I felt disappointed to know how much they were charging. The wine was the most sensibly priced item on the menu. We had a good laugh about the experience which they probably didn’t like but we could’ve been more severely offended from being underfed and overcharged. 120€ for two people and 3 children’s servings. :’D 190€ total for our table.
Anthony P — Google review
I have seen mixed reviews on this restaurant which I don’t understand at all. We found the food very good, the staff lovely, food fairly priced (delicious catch of the day at €25 per person), and the sommelier gave us very good wine by the glass (Mezzocielo - red) at a reasonable price. Recommended!
Adam — Google review
A wonderful place, refined in every detail. It was a real pleasure to celebrate a meal there. The dishes are delicious, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is so pleasant that it's hard to leave. A must-see in Calabria. Thank you so much for the excellent dinner.

Good food and service especially all the wines are very nice with a cheap price. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to get a reservation. The care and attention to detail is obvious. The food was outstanding. We appreciated the service in English.

We visited here last week whilst staying at the Hotel Murmann. We were so impressed with the food and service and also the kindness and hospitality of the owners we went again the second night!! Food outstanding, real care and love has gone into their menu. We would love to return.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! I had a delicious dinner, I would recommend the Tuna tonné above all! Beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful hosts made us feel more than welcome! I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. Thank you for the amazing time.

Taverna Rovita is a charming historic venue that has transformed from an ancient friary into a delightful tavern since the early 1700s. The ambiance is enriched with stunning local and Vietri artisanal ceramics, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests can indulge in traditional Lucanian dishes such as fusilli al ferretto, lamb in pignata, and ciaudedda—a hearty vegetable stew.
Lovely historic buildings provide a great setting for an evening meal outside the ordinary. We really enjoyed our meal here- the lemon tagliatelle with red prawn crudo was very well put together and balanced, and the unusual contorni were also creative reflections of the food from this territory expressed creatively. Our server was really great at helping us navigate the wine list and we had a brilliant white wine to accompany the meal. Not a cheap option, but we really enjoyed it.

The staff at La Parada del Mar is incredibly friendly, providing a warm welcome to all guests. Despite encountering some negative reviews, it can be confidently stated that these critiques are entirely false. The dining experience at this establishment is truly exceptional, particularly the first courses featuring fresh fish and delicate flavors infused within the fresh pasta. The tuna steak is an absolute delight, offering a harmonious blend of flavors and a melt-in-your-mouth texture akin to butter.

I’m angry. All was well until I was told to go in to pay my bill. One pizza and wine. Gave the man €50. He gives me €30 in change, with no bill, nothing. I tell him there’s no way this cost €20. I demand a receipt. He types it in and the receipt says €20, but no breakdown of the actual items, including service charge. I told him this is unacceptable! I demand a receipt! He then prints it out and gives me back 4 euros with a smug attitude of a criminal caught in the act of his theft. This was attempted theft. It was no error, no mistake. His contempt was typical of a career thief. God knows how many people this man has stolen from, and like a sociopath he doesn’t give a damn. I’ve been in Italy a long time, and this is the first scum bag I’ve had to deal with. What a disappointment. Go ahead tourist, eat here, but you better add up your own bill because this person cannot be trusted.

Very good food that meets expectations, especially the appetizers and main courses. Absolutely to take the cruschi peppers with grilled caciocavallo and the fried cod. The only flaw was the waiting time between the appetizers and the main course which was more than half an hour. In any case, a highly recommended restaurant! Nestled in Maratea, this charming eatery offers an intimate atmosphere with only four small tables, making reservations essential for those eager to indulge in its culinary delights. The menu features fresh seafood and homemade pasta, all prepared with high-quality ingredients that reflect the heart of Italian cuisine.
Found this place in a drive through in Maratea. I ordered sea food everything was very fresh. The food was great and the service was very nice. The price was moderat. Most of the people were gathering in a restaurant in the middle of the city but I still strong recommend this place

I bought 3 bottles here, two of them, both from the same producer had deteriorated caps. The wine was not drinkable and, after contacting this seller, they refused to check and replace the product, as it would have been their precise duty, pretending that this was not possible. I lost arourd 60euros, but they lost my trust. Improfessionals and cheaters, to avoid.
Andrea M — Google review
I came here about 2:00 pm. The little town was quiet, but this place was open. This is both a shop for local products and a small restaurant with 4 tables. The atmosphere is like eating in someone’s home. The menu is short, but I had the eggplant parmigiana. The owner was a very friendly woman, and the service was excellent. The dish was just the right size, and the taste was wonderful!! Very satisfying and highly recommended. The price was very fair as well.

Incredible. Fantastic experience. Delicious food, incredible service, you feel like you're being welcomed into a home, like your being fed by a favourite auntie. We were spoilt and savoured everything.

Wonderful small family restaurant in old town Matera. We had lunch, which was home made pasta and house wine. They also have a wine and food shop.

I can highly recommend this place. Really authentic Italian food and family friendly staff. It's like being invited to a private home in Italy. But you have to make reservations. They only have 4 small tables. If you really want to experience a piece of Italy - food wise... Go here 😍

Have enjoyed our gelato at Emilio’s several times over the last few years. Gentleman behind the counter is very kind. We have loved all the flavours we have had. A lot of pride taken in this business, and place kept very clean. Love the cool decor and the views.

Totally overpriced and unpleasant service, service in a very rude way. To sum it up: icecream without manners.
Gustav H — Google review
I'd call it the ice cream scam as they give you very few quantity: half a cup for 3€, and quality? So and so. Guys don't let you get cheated by the location (like I did :\) and move to someone more honest, you'll find thousands.

Nice idea for ice cream… about breakfast I would not recommend at all.. we came for breakfast on purpose with the intent to taste the specific products as suggested..but most of the “famous” ones like “niko romito golosa breakfast” were not available at 9.30 in the morning (“maybe during the day”)… multiple products not available…table outside not available due to low service personnel…quite upsetting experience..for sure below the expectations of a “signature shop”

Great food, lovely staff and nice chilled atmosphere. Ask for a table at the edge overlooking the beautiful square below (the restaurant is higher than the square itself)

Had the best meal here! So good we came back the next day! Our waiter Nikola was next level nice and treated us like kings. Right on the main square upstairs so a great atmosphere and great view of the sun setting behind the mountains. 100% recommend!

A classy restaurant with the outside seats overlooking a small town square and inside with a charming atmosphere. The dishes were very nice, creative, and with a local flavor, my favourite was the fried ravioli with ragout. The cocktails are also great.

Great wine and ravioli dishes, super nice that they made orange fresh for the kid, even though it was not on the menu. The pork chops dish was weird, very fatty. We didn't understand or liked it.

Very nice Restaurant with friendly service. I asked for a vegetarian dish the waiter was very friendly and offered me three different vegetarian dishes which were not even on the menu card. They made a local homemade fresh pasta dish which was something new and very delicious👍😊

We got oysters & tuna as a starter and cernia & ravioli as a main with a very nice bottle of Entre-Deux-Mers (blanc). I have to say that this is by far the most well thought-out and enticing menu we've found in Maratea so far...! The Manager Pasquale gave us good suggestions to make sure we would get a proper taste of the local flavors Highly recommended!

Manà - Bristrot is a charming little restaurant nestled in the streets of Maratea, close to the main area. The meals offered are absolutely delicious, from appetizers to desserts, and the service is top-notch. While it may be on the pricier side, it's definitely worth the money. The ambiance features typical but pleasant background music that adds to the overall experience. Visitors have raved about the fresh and flavorful food as well as the accommodating service.
Could not recommend Manà more! I had an appetizer, first, and second course and they were all delicious. The octopus was especially good. The ambience was also very nice. The restaurant is located in a pretty side street in the historic center of Maratea. The service was also very good and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely go again!

Super nice restaurant with many vegan options in Maratea. The service was great, the food delicious and the atmosphere very enjoyable. I just went to dinner to this lovely and traditional typical southern Italian restaurant located in the picturesque and old town of Matera and it’s one of the best authentic experiences I have ever had in Italy. As an Italian I can’t recommend this place enough from the service to the food everything was just excellent. We got the octopus and the fried calamari and anchovies as starters and the tartufo pasta as the main and it was delicious. You could tell they put a lot of care in everything they do. And the service was super friendly and wholesome.

We stumbled across this amazing little restaurant. The food was out of this world! So tasty and fresh. The owner explained the background to each dish and recommended a very good local rosè! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Maratea! A wonderful experience with a view of Christ the Redeemer

Nice little restaurant in charming Maratea's side streets but pretty close to the main one. Absolutely delicious meals, from starters to desserts and great service. A little on the pricy side but well worth the money. Very good experience, food was amazing and service as well. We were given recommendations regarding what to eat and everything was slow food. Extremely suitable for vegetarians, had many options and we ended up eating dishes we hadn't had before in our 10 days of travelling through Italy. We had ceasars mushroom (ovolo) both as an appetiser salad and as a main with pappardelle. Both were good but the pappardelle was better than both the pappardelle porcini we have had previously during the trip.

Da Cesare seafood restaurant, located nearby and frequented by locals, offers a breathtaking view with an ideal sunset. The tuna steak, undoubtedly one of the finest I've ever tasted, left me yearning for more as I regretted ordering only one instead of three. Additionally, their seafood risotto was both invigorating and light. A salad abundant in fresh greens and tomatoes complemented the meal perfectly. The warm and efficient service added to my delightful experience.
This is the best restaurant in Italy! Don’t miss out on this amazing family business in Cersuta. Ursula will take good care of you.

I really loved Da Cesare, especially the location, which is absolutely wonderful. The only “challenge” — though I wouldn’t call it a downside — is that it’s hard to find a table. You need to call well in advance, but I guess that’s just how it is for popular places. Overall, a fantastic experience that’s worth planning ahead for.

This place is fantastic! We loved everything about it! The view of Maratea port during the day for lunch is spectacular. The service was personal, friendly, warm and simply perfect. Thank you Luca and 1999! We’ll be back when we’re in Maratea again.

The ravioli with mussels is literally the best thing I have eaten in Italy! Everything we had was exceptional. The owner and his son were very helpful and absolutely the nicest, patient people. The pistachio ricotta dessert was also to die for. It's a very relaxed, seaside restaurant. Highly recommend!

A nice covered patio to dine under, with a view to the little port, or what actually is a marina. Grilled Amberjack fillets and a side of oven baked red onions from Tropea. All very tasty. You pay a little more due to location, but that’s okay. The service is excellent!! It’s evident that this is a family run business.

Wow! What a fantastic gem we stumbled across last night. It’s the exact kind of restaurant experience we have been hoping for on our travels through southern Italy. The view from the restaurant patio is absolutely stunning and it was magical watching the dusk slowly turn to night while overlooking the small bay of Maratea. The food was really quite excellent. Highlights included a deliciously interesting and surprising roasted red onion which was recommended by our server. The pastas were truly great and the best we’ve had so far in our week of travel. I LOVED my anchovy spaghetti that had a hint of clove spice to it which was something that really elevated the dish. Fish was well cooked and fresh. Highly recommend this magical little spot!

What a wonderful experience! Wr could not find anything open and a local referred us here and it did not disappoint! The service was absolutely amazing, so friendly, warm and welcoming as well as patient with our lack of Italian! Then the food blew us away, my partner loved the shrimp pasta, my fried seafood mix was devine as well as my parent in laws barbecue seafood mix and seafood ravioli. We highly recommend! To finish we had the lemon sorbet which was flavoursome and velvety, and the local cake which me and my mother in law and I wish to learn how to make when we go home as it was just so good! We wanted another 😂 Shame we were only here for the day would happily be back many more times!

Nestled in the heart of Southern Italy, La Taverna di Zu Cicco offers a delightful culinary experience that showcases the rich flavors of traditional Basilicata cuisine. With an inviting sidewalk terrace, diners can enjoy sharing plates filled with homemade dishes while sipping on regional wines. The menu features a variety of options, including perfectly cooked steak and succulent pork skewers served on a unique vertical stand—ideal for those looking to indulge in generous portions.
Very good food in this out of the way taverna with very helpful, smiley and charming staff. I had the steak, pork morcels and French fries. It comes on 2 large skewers on a vertical stand. So much meat. It was €36 which may sound expensive but it was enough for 2 and the beef was cooked to absolute perfection. The ricotta with figs starter and pasta main course are also recommended. The red wine ordered by the glass (€8) was delicious

We were with a one and a half year old child and it was raining a lot, yet they didn't make much efford to accommodate us in a more appropriate and comfortable place. I ordered the Orecchistte with crema di friarielli and it was tasteless, hard to eat. The Tarallo was hard and dull. It was not a good experience. The price is high, the menu is pretentious, however, the restaurant does not deliver what it promises. Serving customers, even in a restaurant, also means being friendly and helpful, it is part of the experience delivered to those who consume. I do not recommend.

I never thought i could get dishs like this in Italy. First i got the soup which tasted like water with lentils in it, seriously something you can't eat. Then they told me they can make me something else, ravioli with tomato sauce- and that was really bad too, the cheese in the ravioly was sweet and the tomato sauce tasted just like ketchup. Honestly, i never thought i'd that kind of food in Italy... and they tried to make me pay 18 euro for this. Very disappointed 😞.

The fennel pasta and pepper fusilli also receive high praise for their exceptional flavor profiles.
Super food and welcoming service, looks like nothing much from outside but inside is lovely and the flavours were excellent. The fennel pasta and pepper fusilli were both amazing and the sauce on the veal piazzola was incredible. Stuffed aubergine also very good. Dessert options interesting filled ice creams could skip. Our waitress was wonderful despite limited English we got on well and she recommended the veal which was a hit. Feels like a secret you've discovered but clearly well reviewed here and on trip advisor lots of awards on show! We went midweek lunchtime out of season so was very quiet.

Mixed experience. The ricotta ravioli in tomato sauce was really good – fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. But the melanzane (eggplant with meat and tomato) was cold inside and lacked seasoning. The atmosphere was strange: almost no one there, harsh fluorescent lighting, no music. One staff member was watching loud videos on his phone, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, the food had potential, but the vibe just felt off.

Sleepy when out of season, this is a tranquil but easily accessed location off the coast road, part of a small hotel. The very first day pizzas were really good. Then we came tomorrow and they literally ripped us off. We had two pastas and mixed grilled fish. Overpriced for not so good food. We ordered the sliced steaks (€25!) and what a waste of money it was. Awful, needless to say overpriced. Tasted like boiled steak left over from lunch, heated slightly in the microwave, covered in some balsamic salad dressing, scattered with some arugula and tomatoes. Don’t waste your time and money.

They appeared to have two servers. So service was slow. Our friends sat with us and though we ordered at the same time (a table if four and the only ones in the restaurant) we had separate checks. Their dinners arrived 20 minutes before ours, so we ended up watching each other eat.
Thomas A — Google review
We tried their signature ravioli and gnocchi that were freshly made but the tomato sauce was abundant and rather liquid spoiling the taste of the dishes. Considering the price charged for our meal, in my honest view, this restaurant offers low value for money and would not recommend dining there.

I don’t understand how this place only has a 3.8 star average. The food, service and location were exceptional. My wife and I shared a starter and pizza; the portions were more than adequate and the flavours exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Small seaside restaurant with a really nice view. Unfortunately the pizza wasn't that great. It tasted goodish, but it was floating in olive oil. Also it was poor on ingredients. The bathroom is kind of small but clean. Overall it is a nice place, but don't expect to eat really good!

Good menu and pretty fast service, swordfish was just amazing, tuna overcooked and very dry so better you ask the waiter to have it rare if you like, good spaghetti alle vongole, pizza was good as well, 7 people we spent 190€ for 6 mains one pizza a few side dishes 4 desserts 1 litre of wine 2 pints of beer 2 bottle of water and 4 espresso, I think was pretty good price as well!

We had swordfish and a variety of pizza's and tiramisu for desert The serving was excellent and one of the waitresses called Marianna came with nice tips on what to add extra ingredients on the pizzas to make them extra special and unique. The fish was excellent and the tiramisu had a nice spin on it that you really need to check out for yourself. If you want authentic Italian food made with love come to this place. We were recommended by our hotel to go here so we tried and got in the second night of our stay. Young waitress that seated us down wasn’t very pleasant for some reason. It took a while before we were even offered any water and then they sat down and served several other tables that came in after us. The food was only average, but the location was beautiful. This was the first restaurant after 4 weeks in Italy I didn’t tip anything.

Ristorante Maratea - La Perla is a charming restaurant located in the heart of Maratea. The setting overlooking the square of The Old Town provides an entertaining backdrop for a delightful dining experience. While the service may be slow at times due to the popularity of the place, it's understandable given the large number of guests. It's advisable to make a reservation, especially for evening visits when it tends to get busy.
a reservation must be made, since the place gets full at night when it opens. the sea food and everything we had was delicious. i recommend eating outside to enjoy the ambiance and the little view overlooking the Piazza Biaggio Vitolo and its surroundings. would go back.

We did fall on our feet finding this restaurant. It was just off the main high street. Very friendly, even the chef came to our table to ask how we would like our stakes. Quality of food and service very high. Due to the weakness of the pound the cost was much the same as in England.
Eddie A — Google review
We had dinner in the early evening. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked, and the setting over looking the square of The Old Town never ceased to provide entertainment throughout our meal. The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars was the service which was slow, probably due to the large number of guests having dinner at the same time, and therefore understandable. Worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) I dreamed of a typical sandwich, perhaps with a touch of Lucanian tradition and a friendly smile. Instead, I found a masterpiece of coldness, seasoned with rudeness and stuffed with condescendingness. The owners? A textbook duo: zero empathy, courtesy on sale (sold out), and plenty of rudeness. The sandwich looked like it came from a refrigerator on strike, but at least it was consistent with the atmosphere: cold, hasty, hostile. A place like this should only be visited to test your own zen limits. But if you prefer to eat in peace... follow your instincts and cross the street. I proprietari?

OK. Having had pizza in multiple provinces in Italy, south and north, this experience was truly one of the best. Definitely Napolitan pizza, not the flat, more crusty, like the ones ine might expect in Puglia. As for service, no English, only Italian. Somehow that just makes wonders. Obviously I don't recommend it and I wouldn't go back. Prices in my opinion a little high for the quality (Original) Ci ero stata anni fa ed era tutto buono. (Translated by Google) Authentic experience and genuine flavors! During my stay in Maratea, I discovered Rosticceria Liberatore and was pleasantly surprised. The place is simple yet welcoming, centrally located, perfect for a tasty break. I tried the pizza by the slice and the stuffed zucchini flowers: both delicious, with a light, well-cooked crust. The eggplant parmigiana also deserves a special mention—rich, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are more than fair considering the quality and location. An excellent choice for those looking for a quick but satisfying meal, away from the usual tourist restaurants. Highly recommended for an authentic taste of local cuisine!!! If you're looking for a delightful spot to grab a quick and satisfying meal, Il Clubbino Porto is the place to be! Nestled in the charming Maratea harbor, this eatery offers an impressive menu filled with hearty snacks. You can indulge in their delicious sandwiches, like the Panarea featuring tender octopus paired with wilted tomatoes and grilled eggplants. The piadina is also a must-try, loaded with fresh rocket, savory prosciutto ham, and creamy cheese.

Although we reserved with days in advance we were asked to wait for more than 20 minutes until they cleared the table. The service was lacking, the waitress and owner rude making unfortunate expressions and remarks and therefore caused the experience to be less than agreeable. The food overpriced for what is offered and made us wait for over than an hour.

(Translated by Google) The atmosphere is pleasant and the restaurant enjoys a charming location, right on the port of Maratea. It's important to know that online reservations are required: without them, you can't sit at a table or order takeout, which can be inconvenient. As for the food, the experience was overall decent, but not particularly memorable: the meat served is frozen (as stated on the menu). Considering the overall offering, I would probably choose another option in the future. Nestled in the picturesque hills of Maratea, Villa Cheta is a sophisticated retreat that offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. This charming 19th-century villa, adorned with rose and cream stucco, exudes an art nouveau elegance while embracing traditional hospitality. Guests can enjoy delightful meals at the on-site restaurant or unwind at the saltwater pool surrounded by lush gardens filled with vibrant flowers cascading down to a pebbled beach.
Villa Cheta is a beautiful oasis in Maratea, elegantly decorated in Italian style with lots of history and charm, and with wonderful views across the bay. The room was very comfortable and again stylish. The new pool is fantastic for a dip but you can also walk down the steps to the little beach for a swim in the sea. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional, always smiling and keen to make our stay memorable. We had dinner at the restaurant two nights and we think one of our meals was a little bland, however we seem to be the exception judging from other reviews.

Villa Cheta is truly a magical place. Set in a peaceful area far from tourist crowds, it offers breathtaking views and an unbeatable location between the mountains and the sea. The service is impeccable, with a wonderfully kind and attentive staff always ready to help. Stefania, Piero, Angela, and the entire team make you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms, the pool, and the scenery are simply stunning — an oasis of tranquility just a short drive from Maratea village and beautiful beaches. The restaurant is a highlight in itself, from breakfast to dinner, featuring a changing seasonal menu crafted with the finest local ingredients. I cannot recommend a stay at this charming boutique hotel enough!

Wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The room was spotless and offered a sea view. The swimming pool was excellent. Nearby attractions include a small grocery store (da Ginetto) for marenna to go and a lovely beach (about a 10-minute walk, easily accessible). The dinners were reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. If you’re open to driving to Maratea, you can find even more affordable options with a wider variety of food. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely consider returning.

Nestled along the stunning waterfront of Maratea, Hotel Borgo La Tana is a charming retreat that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. This laid-back property boasts an inviting outdoor pool, a rejuvenating spa area, and a delightful restaurant serving complimentary breakfast. Just a short stroll from L'Agnola beach, guests can easily explore the picturesque coastline or indulge in nearby attractions like the Sanctuary of S. Maria della Grotta and the iconic Statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Very nice hotel with super friendly staff even in the intense mid August period. Perfect location for enjoying both sightseeing in Maratea or the beaches of Praia a mare and San Nicola. We spent only one night but we had a very good time. The only drawback we noticed was due to the cleanliness of our room and bathroom, not spotless but still ok. A good breakfast “buffet” with a nice variety on display near the pool. To keep in mind for trips in the area.
Michael G — Google review
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel didn’t quite meet our expectations. While the property has potential, there were several aspects that made our experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. First, it’s important to note the hotel is quite remote setting means there’s nothing within walking distance. The views were average and not quite what we had anticipated. Here are some of the challenges we encountered: 1. There was no air conditioning or fans available before June 15th, which left the room quite warm and uncomfortable during hotter days. 2. The windows don’t have screens, so opening them to cool off lets in bugs, flies, and even the occasional lizard. 3. The pool has limited hours, and guests are required to purchase a swim cap to use it. 4. The spa costs around €20 for just 30 minutes, which felt steep—especially given that it wasn’t clearly communicated as an extra charge. 5. Breakfast was minimal; we only managed to eat a single croissant. 6. The bed was very firm, to the point of feeling quite uncomfortable. 7. Towels were very thin and not what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point. On the positive side, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were genuinely kind and tried their best to be helpful throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality was definitely appreciated. With a few improvements, this property could offer a much better guest experience.

This hotel is really not worth the price. Our room was in a small two-floor building with 4 rooms. It had a connecting door to the room upstairs and we heard everything - TV, talking, toilet, etc. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. And the only ventilation for the bathroom was a window onto the room itself. The pool is nice but you need to buy a swimming cap. The place looks nice at first but it’s missing the fundamentals for a hotel of this price!
Anna C — Google review
Hotel was okay but not near the main town of Maratea (30min drive from Maratea). Breakfast was included but not very appetising and the scrambled eggs were cold. Rooms were okay but bed was rock hard. Swimming pool looks nice but you need to pay for a swimming cap to go in. You also have to pay 15-20euro to use the spa for 30min which seems a bit outrageous. Overall just an okay place to stay at for one night while passing through to somewhere else. Would not recommend staying longer.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel so I shall split up my points into good and bad to let you decide for yourself. Good: -The staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help with all of our enquiries -The setting of the hotel was beautiful and just a ten-minute walk from the closest beach -The room had excellent air conditioning which meant for an excellent night’s sleep -The pool was large and there were many sun loungers -There were no other British tourists staying at the hotel (to the best of my knowledge) so you felt truly immersed in Italian culture -The cleaning service was excellent, and we came back every day to fresh towels, bedding, shampoos etc… -It was close to a supermarket which was helpful and cheap Bad: -Swimming caps had to be worn if you wanted to go into the pool (inconvenient at first but we adjusted) -Food at the bar was expensive in comparison to the rest of Maratea -The breakfast was (whilst very nice) filled with fat and carbohydrates. You would struggle to be full unless you were willing to eat biscuits, honeycomb, sweetened yoghurt and the occasional fig. -The opening times of the pool and bar were very peculiar and meant we would often come home from a day out unable to get food. -The fitness centre was cramped and almost unusable There you have it, a reasonably good, well-priced hotel with some drawbacks that didn’t significantly take away from the whole Maratea experience.

Furthermore, the beach slopes uphill, so you can see the sea even from the back rows. Not to mention the beautiful sunsets you can enjoy at the end of the day. Then there's the bar-restaurant, located inside a beautiful wooden structure, also very breezy, where you can also play cards or chat at the tables. We were always served in a friendly and courteous manner, even when they noticed that we don't particularly speak Italian. I would also like to mention that there are freshwater showers and toilets on the beach, which are cleaned regularly. The beach and the water are clean and crystal clear, and the area around the beach restaurant is also regularly cleaned of the fine sand. (Translated by Google) The beach is really beautiful but for 20 euros there are many services missing such as the possibility of a cold water shower which is paid for but moreover I know all the showers at 20 cents don't work you have to constantly go to the cashier because they get blocked. The right side is functional while the left side is all broken. A mini fountain would also be appreciated but they are all closed/not working so at the end of the evening you don't know where to rinse your feet as the beach is made of fine sand and the parking area is full of dust. The covid rules are not respected, zero masks behind the bar counter have no masks. Except for a few waiters. It's a shame these little things say a lot about the attention to hygiene standards. The sunbeds are not sanitized so you will find those used by hundreds of other people before. At most bring some alcohol to disinfect :) Ps: The beach, being in a beautiful area between the sea and the hills, is full of wasps in that area. Tip: be careful when you have lunch with your sandwich on the sunbed!!! For the rest it is still a quiet beach. The landing place two further on I saw that it also offers a free cold shower. I don't know the prices but I think they are all identical. Suitable for families and small children. The sea is blue. Unfortunately you can't see the sunset because it falls behind the mountain. The lido offers bars and restaurants plus various services with canoes, floating sunbeds, pedal boats.

Top experience, I've been here 20 years ago, the beach was totally free and very wild without any kind of service! 2 days ago I found one of the best sea side and beach I've seen around Italy and during my trip outside Europe! 1, the beach was very clean and organised well looked after the lifeguard Bruno. 2 Bar and restaurant, very well handled from the whole staff, there wasn't space for us at lunch so we decided to grab some takeaway and eat on the beach, insalata di mare was very good as the rest of our meal, maybe just the piadina undercooked ( I spent 6 summers in Riccione ). 3 Price, average for Maratea. 4 and the most important point, I left my sunglasses at the bar while I went to grab some beers, after a few hours I realized it and I was already like, I lost them, my friends encouraged me to go and ask which I did, Persol sunglasses 250 pound kept behind the bar from the staff! I think I don't have anything to say! Proud to be Lucano!

But when, in the face of obvious disorganization, you don't even have the decency to apologize, then I become intransigent. We ordered at 2.45pm well after the lunchtime rush had finished and it was only 3 panini’s , after several reminders they were bought to us about 55 minutes later not even an apology . When you pay a cover and service charge you expect a better service than this . A piece of advice for the person manning the till, smile and show some courtesy.

I always do my best not to miss the chance to enjoy a dinner here: welcoming careful staff, professional service, mainly a fish dinner menu, the excellence in local traditional tastes, soft music allowing relaxed conversation, cozy setting... five star experience!

Maybe because I was a tourist, but all they were interested in was how to squeeze as much as possible out of me, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Not warm welcoming or friendly. Plus incredibly expensive. Dont recommend and wouldn’t return.

I had the pizza "Margherita regina bufalina" excellent cooking, equally ingredients, my boyfriend, instead, had the fried fish, fresh fish and very tasty. What can I say, if there will be a next holiday here in Maratea we will definitely return! Ps: the prices are very accessible and fairly balanced with the quality of the product. I tried it in late July, on a Tuesday, when it was sparsely crowded and nice and cool (the terrace is large and breezy). I ordered pizza, so my review is limited to that: excellent! Well-cooked and fragrant, thin crust with a thick crust. Excellent service. Ottimo servizio.

(Translated by Google) The owner sat us down, advising us on the chef's specialties, which unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Pasta fagioli e cozze in brodo, spaghetti con le vongole cooked with the clams on the side (so they were spaghetti in bianco) and the same for spaghetti con l'astice and con i gamberi. We basically ate pasta in bianco and with sauce without fish seasoning. The risotto was a good thing, but still little care was taken in making an impact because when I tasted it I found myself with more than one clam shell (empty) in my mouth hidden under the rice. Let's not even talk about the pizzas, which were terrible just for their appearance (we didn't dare to take them since we are from Naples).

If you find yourself in Maratea and are craving a delicious burger, look no further than Rolling Steaks. This charming eatery stands out amidst the town's more indifferent dining options, offering a warm welcome from its friendly staff. The Angus beef patty is expertly flame-grilled to perfection, delivering an unforgettable taste that rivals some of the best burgers found in Australia. After a long hike to see the iconic Christ Redeemer statue, indulging in their mouthwatering offerings is a delightful treat.

6:00pm...and it's closed. Might be a nice bar. I wouldn't know. Because it's not open. The times listed says I should be sitting in there and having a drink. But I'm not. Because it's closed! I rely on opening times when I'm deciding where to go, where to stay. If the times aren't accurate then it kinda messes things up. Whoever owns this place, correct the times.

In the centre of Mareata in the small town square there are various options for a bite to eat or drink. We chose the worst option. Not only was it far too expensive for what they offer but in an area where they make their own bread and cheese. It was truly average at best. They served us a €6 salad that was tiny and tasteless. They didn't even have any oil and fresh pepper but served them in sachets! For the money that they charged....that's really unforgiveable. To make matters even worse we were charged for just sitting in the restaurant and even though we numbered 10 and ate food and drink, they did not announce the charge until the bill came €2 per person. The steaks and burgers weren't too bad but overall stay well away if you value taste and value.

Maratea can be a very tired place, full of restaurants and bar not really keen to welcome their guests, so it was a nice surprise to walk into this Burger place and met with welcoming smiles from the owners and the young staff; our meals were good, fresh and tasty, served al fresco in the main square. Other experiences in Maratea have not been so good and we met this place too late in our short break. We will return and we warmly recommend it if you want a safe option for dinner. Thank you

Nestled in a picturesque location, Le Vele is a charming family-run restaurant that transports you back to the nostalgic vibes of the 70s and 80s. With its spacious dining area and breathtaking views over the Gulf of Policastro, this eatery offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by warm service from Mr. Pasquale, the owner. While it may not serve gourmet or avant-garde dishes, Le Vele excels in delivering delicious traditional cuisine that satisfies every palate.
This is an old school family run restaurant that makes you feel you are back in the 80s or even the 70s! In my view the experience of dining here is worth 5 stars because of the combination of atmosphere with breathaking views over the gulf of Policastro, very kind service from the old gentleman and owner Mr. Pasquale, and the god food that met our expectations, however do not expect gourmet food or innovative cuisine in this restaurant. Retro is never out of fashion!

(Translated by Google) We were guests in the hotel for 5 days. On the first evening we were in the restaurant (4 people). You can choose between a buffet for 35 euros per person or a pizza. The pizzas were very good but twice as expensive as in the region. I don't like to eat very much in the evening, and for 35 euros I can eat for three days. We ate in restaurants in the area for the remaining days and were very satisfied. Facts: - Loud music at the pool and in the restaurant in the morning. - The pool will be closed during lunchtime 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - The pool will be closed again in the evening from 7:00 p.m. - The water quality from the pool is very good. - Very nice view from the hotel (mountains and sea) - Lots of families with small children in the hotel. - Very loud music every evening until 11:30 p.m. (children's disco) - Impossible to sleep before 11:30 p.m. (way too loud) - The air conditioning in both rooms failed several times. - Complaints about air conditioning were quickly resolved. - Reception staff are very friendly and competent. - Hotel offers shuttle to the beach at an additional cost. (relatively expensive) - It takes 20 minutes to get to the beach by car. - The beach and sea are perfect. Very nice. - Two deck chairs and a parasol for 20 euros per day. - Internet WiFi 19 Mbps is not available everywhere. - Menu in the evening only contains a few pizzas. (very expensive) - The bathroom was not cleaned well. (dirt and hair on the floor) Conclusion: The hotel is suitable for families with small children. If you want a place with a lot of peace and quiet, this is the wrong place. The best thing was the beach. The quality of the beach is very good. You can also eat well there. The staff is very friendly. There are few flavors of pizza on the menu, even the capricciosa is missing which it was not possible to have even on request. The pizzas arrive at the table 4 at a time so out of 8 people, half of us ate and the others waited, furthermore, out of 8 pizzas ordered, 3 arrived wrong, further prolonging the wait. Finally we asked for the bill at the table but we were advised to go and pay at the cash register only to pay we had to do the bill on the same floor and the payment on the upper floor escorted by the waiter. We're not quite there. I hope given the splendid location it was an isolated case. We were suggested this establishment by the hotel (Murmann) and they also verified for gluten-free choices which the eatery was able to cater to. (Translated by Google) I visited A Fuoco Lento restaurant and had a truly positive experience. The appetizers and first courses were excellent, prepared with care and flavor. In particular, the octopus salad with potatoes was a real surprise: the octopus was perfectly cooked, tender yet slightly resistant to the bite, making it pleasant to chew. The ratio of octopus to potatoes was well-balanced, without being overpowering, and the dressing truly enhanced the flavors without overpowering them. The tagliolini were exquisite, with fresh pasta, perfectly al dente, and a well-creamed sauce, flavorful yet delicate. Truly a memorable first course. For dessert, I tried the pistachio cheesecake: for my personal taste, I found it overly sweet, and the crust was too hard and compact, making it difficult to even divide with a spoon. I would have preferred a slightly crumbly crust, perhaps with less sugar, and a more airy, less sweet cream, to let the pistachios take center stage. Special praise goes to the young waitress with curly hair, who was extremely friendly, attentive, and smiling. She served us discreetly and kindly, explaining the dishes clearly. A true professional, affable, and delightful, she made the experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back! Torneremo sicuramente!

Delicious! We arrived quite late but Google times said it would still be open. We were the only customers but the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a very tasty meal accompanied by their own lovely house wine
Amy B — Google review
Absolutely amazing place. Antonio the owner is so nice and funny. Everything is homemade. The gnocchi fiori di zucca and ravioli were amazing. Antonio showed us how he makes the tiramisu, which is honestly the best tiramisu in Italy!! I highly recommend coming here for dinner if you're in Maratea.

I come here quite often because shortly said: you eat well here! Best to try their spacial "tagliere" where they wisely mix local cheeses, hams and jams. Pastas choice is large and super good! I would not try again the fish (spigola all'acquapazza was floating in fish flakes :/ ... service is a bit messy but kind and friendly... good choice of wines & deserts too

We had lunch after visiting « Cristo Redentore di Maratea », perfect combo. Great food, Nice staff.

Possibly the best Italian meal we've had on our trip, and there have been a few great ones!! Local pasta with mussels and beans was a highlight, might sound odd, but was delicious! House wine was very delicious too! Great value menu. Fantastic service, we spent a while sat over our meal between courses, but weren't made to feel rushed or anything. A great evening, we loved it.

Delish pizza and they accommodated 8 of us last minute, later in the evening. The chili oil is supreme. If they sold it, I'd take it back to the U.S. with me. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing dinner here tonight. Tried some of the starters, basilicata wine and had the Romano pizza. A very homely vibe with delicious food! 10/10

We have just got back from a 3 week family trip in Italy, we travelled from Rome to Sicily. Our son loves Pizzas and was rating them all throughout the holiday. He rated his Diavola pizza at Da Bruno…. and it came in easily at ***No. 1**** ‘best pizza in Italy!’ I would say that my calzone was the best I’ve ever had too. We sat outside, the view is wonderful and the service matches it! We highly recommend you seek out this hidden gem!

Tutto era meraviglioso! A good selection of drinks and the house wine was much better than elsewhere. The pizzas were fantastic, homemade to order and no 'soggy bottoms. A beautiful location to watch the sunset with views of Cristo Redentore. Excellent service. Grazie mille!

The best experience we could get. The staff were all kind and patient and the owner friendly and amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was the most beautiful you could ask for, from the moment we arrived we were astonished by the clean air and the exquisite landscapes. The food was delicious with a wide variety of different kinds of foods. We couldn’t ask for a better start for our trip in Italy. Thank you for everything!

(Translated by Google) Excellent experience for one night. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff is very courteous. The area is very quiet and promotes relaxation. The location is relatively convenient compared to the center, but very close to the Redentore. The breakfast is simply fantastic, plentiful and of the highest quality with raw materials all coming from local production. (Original) Eccellente esperienza per una notte. (Translated by Google) A magical place immersed in the greenery of vineyards and olive trees, very quiet and silent. Very friendly and helpful staff for every need, beautiful and quite spacious rooms. The outside space is something unique, we were immediately captured by the beauty of the outside garden (very well kept) with pergolas for shade and tables to eat outside. In close contact with nature, right next to the farmhouse there are donkeys and sometimes we saw kittens wandering around in the garden. You can see the farmer working in the vegetable garden, in short the simple but most beautiful things. Good products, for breakfast there are homemade jams. Another positive thing from the farmhouse you can see Christ the Redeemer, very suggestive both during the day and in the evening. A few minutes by car is the parking lot to go and visit it.

My husband and I stayed in this farmhouse for two nights, but we didn't want to leave. Welcoming rooms, friendly staff, open spaces capable of giving a feeling of peace and tranquility. Everything was perfect and a special mention goes to the breakfasts and dinners we had in the facility. The quality of the raw materials was very high, with truly special zero-mile products. No review could ever truly do justice to this place. We can't wait to return. Many thanks to all the staff (Original) Casale De Filippo é il posto perfetto dove rifugiarsi quando si ha bisogno di rigenerarsi, riposarsi, godere delle cose belle della vita. Fabulous experience! We turned up without a booking and were very kindly fitted in to this intimate venue. The food was fabulous and just kept coming... antipasti was a plate of cheeses, cold meats, meat balls, grilled vegetables, and more, then 3 pasta dishes, sausage and potatoes for main course, biscotti at the end of the meal- warm and freshly baked. All the pasta was handmade at the restaurant. We were so full when the meal ended, we came away with takeaway boxes of food we hadn't eaten.

(Translated by Google) Last night, my partner and I were fortunate enough to dine at Nonna Maria's house. Welcoming us was her daughter, Barbara. Since we're staying far away, they were kind enough to welcome us at 7:00 PM. When we arrived, they were both busy cooking, and they invited us to sit on their veranda, where we enjoyed a wonderful sunset. The menu was extensive, with all homemade products. I also had the chance to see Nonna Maria at work, cutting the fresh pasta we ate shortly after. I've attached the menu so you can see the quality and quantity of everything we ate. The family atmosphere is wonderful for those of us who seek warmth, hospitality, and authentic food. Nonna Maria is a woman from another era! In addition to cooking divinely, making jams with fruit from her garden, and crafting grappa and bitters with wild herbs, she's also incredibly skilled at sewing and embroidery! We spent a special evening, which not only filled our stomachs, but also filled our hearts with peace and joy. The legendary grandmother entertained us by telling us about her life, reminding us of the true values that, unfortunately, tend to be lost nowadays. She showed me all the doilies she makes with patience and dedication and even gave me one as a gift! We stayed with them for 4 hours! Served, revered, and above all, welcomed with such warmth! Thank you for this magnificent evening. Traveling extensively, we've had the pleasure of visiting various home-cooked restaurants, from northern to southern Italy, and this one beats them all. Highly recommended. Menù ricco, tutti prodotti fatti in casa. Consigliatissimo. Grazie Nonna Maria e grazie Barbara❤️

(Translated by Google) We were welcomed with a warmth you only find in family. Nonna Maria is incredibly friendly and fantastic in the kitchen, along with her daughter Barbara, who is as talented and kind as her mother! We ate divine local products, impeccably cooked. I was transported back over 30 years, tasting the flavors of yesteryear! A fantastic appetizer of local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by fig jam, a platter of fried zucchini flowers, cruschi peppers, tomato bruschetta, and grilled zucchini, a Flemish-style first course of handmade Lucanian fusilli with sausage ragù and handmade Lucanian ravioli filled with ricotta, served with fresh tomato sauce and ricotta cheese, and for the main course, sausage with peppers and potatoes, and eggplant parmigiana, all accompanied by a delicious local white wine. The tart with lemon jam was also fantastic. It was a fantastic evening! If you like good food, this is definitely the place to go! The price was very fair given the quality and quantity of the food! Thanks again for everything!! ❤️

Everything was fresh and homemade! As she said herself: "I'll make something for you!" It was fantastic! Afterwards, she came over to our table for a lovely chat, all in Italian, of course. Everything was truly outstanding: from the delicious appetizer with sausage, cheese, bruschetta, and homemade fig jam, to the homemade pasta, salsiccia with potatoes, and the homemade lemon sorbet, the crowning finale of an evening full of warmth and delicious food in a wonderful setting on the terrace with a sea view. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for allowing us to come, despite another group having canceled their reservation. A must for anyone who appreciates good, traditional food, and above all, genuine craftsmanship and genuine warmth. Be sure to make a reservation in advance!
