This website provides the full menu of The Blonde Beans cafe, which currently offers 14 different menus and beverages. For any seasonal or weekly specials, it is advised to directly contact the restaurant owner. The cafe serves delicious coffee and pastries, while providing excellent service. The friendly staff behind the counter are courteous and patient. The cozy atmosphere inside has limited seating but is conveniently located across from both the train station and lift. An added bonus is that dogs are allowed inside as well.
We just came by to get a coffee, they were already closed but they gave us a few kanebullars for free. The shop is run by a very sweet woman! And the cinnamon rolls were delicious! Thank you so much! ❤️

We stopped by for a quick coffee and had our usual double espresso. The coffee was fine—good in terms of flavor and mouthfeel, though not particularly standout. The service was friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made the experience enjoyable. The café itself is quite tiny and packed with seating, which takes away a bit from the coziness. If you’re coming with more than two people, you might struggle to find a spot. That said, it’s a cute place overall with a nice vibe. We didn’t try any food this time, but the cinnamon buns on display looked tempting. One downside: there was no bathroom, which can be inconvenient if you’re planning to stay a while. We also didn’t notice any Wi-Fi or power outlets. Overall, a friendly little spot for a quick coffee, best suited for solo visits or pairs.
Niklas D — Google review
This lovely coffee house is such a gem in the Austrian Alps. It is cute, has a cosy atmosphere, great speciality coffee (which is quite rare here:) and incredible pastry! Swedish buns, cookies, raw balls or brownies, it all taste amaaazing! The stuff is super nice, sweet and making your coffee with a smile. Visiting this place just makes your day brighter. Blonde beans, thank you so much for being here for us :)
Petra N — Google review
The place inside is stylish and the view from the window is exceptional. We really love the vibe and interior design.I came here to have a good mountain tea, my expectations weren’t high, but definitely not the tea from nearest supermarket. It’s a shame and scam. In other places they have quality tea for the same price. I understand it’s not a tea shop, so they should be experts as coffee makers. But there is a lot of place for improvements. Starting from roasting, and ending with proportions. What we did like was a hot chocolate and pastries. As for a small coffee shop it’s okay, but they could have a great potential, I wish I could write more positive sides, maybe next time they will be better and I genuinely wish them to strive for excellence
Yana N — Google review
When they're pulling from a Victoria Arduino Black Eagle you know that they're serious about their craft (these machines are used in worldwide coffee competitions for a reason). Popped in for a flat white followed by a double espresso and they were fantastic. The flat white had great milk texture and was steamed ready to drink on the hand-off; whereas a lot of "cafes" will just steam it to infinity roof-of-your-mouth-be-damned. Espresso on its own was dialed in well & had the characteristic flavor profiles of dark chocolate & caramel that you'd want with any good medium espresso roast. Contrary to another review I saw on here they do have a free guest wifi that is super fast and requires no password to connect which I also loved and let me hang out a little bit and order a few more items. Specialty coffee shops are suprisingly hard to come by in Austria so it's always great to hunt one down and have a spot to rely on for the remainder of the stay. Excellent work TBB.
Neil O — Google review
Really lovely, small coffee shop. Good for takeaway or a quick stopover, because there are just a few seating options. Swedish owned with the best cinnamon buns *OMG* Would definitely come back and recommend that place to everyone who loves good coffee.
Coco's R — Google review
The BEST coffee in Austria! I’ve been a loyal customer for years and it’s still my favorite way to start my day when in Gastein. The baked goods are also to die for, and I have to treat myself to a delicious bun or cookie every time. Blonde Beans forever!!

This is the only speciality coffeeshop that I found in Bad Gastein. Good coffee and nice breakfast but the opening time is not always convenient.

Nestled at nearly 2000 meters above sea level, the Weitmoser Schlossalm offers breathtaking views of the expansive Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area. This charming mountain hut is perfectly situated along the slopes, making it an ideal stop during a long day on the skis. The ambiance is inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that encourages guests to linger longer than planned. The menu boasts hearty options like juicy burgers and steaks, alongside comforting soups and fresh salads.
We had a lovely late family lunch at this nice mountain cottage. The interior is cozy and traditional Austrian. We had delicious goulash soup, Japanese dumplings, a salad bowl with bacon and goat cheese, Sachertortew, Apfelstrudel with espresso, and Tiramisu. All meals were delicious and swiftly ordered and served. The portions are huge and worth the money. At that noon time, there was plenty of space to sit both outside and inside, as it was beautiful weather. The live music at the terrace makes the stay even more enjoyable. The staff is friendly and professional. Lovely facility, we plan to return for sure.

worst burger in my life… nice place with a good atmosphere though.

Probably the best Alm in the area!! Super friendly staff, great service. The food was just the best you can get; freshly made and of good quality. Just sit outside (or in the cosy alm) and enjoy the great view. AND the coffee is very good and delicious!
Sven V — Google review
In my opinion the best ski hut in the area. It is a family business and I have know the owner now for over 40 years. Service is great - fast, friendly and always with a smile. The Berner Würstl are my favorite; there are several signature drinks and all of them are really good. This establishment is a great example of how to operate a successful business while still keeping the focus on the most important part - the guest. I hope the Junior will keep it this way and we all get to enjoy this lovely place the next 40 years 😉

Top of Bad Gastien gondola. Make for the outside terrace if it is sunny. Outstanding views. Can get busy but definitely worth a short wait absorbing the fantastic setting. Nice lunch spot not expensive.

Superb place in the slopes. Best one in the area but a bit more expensive but really worth it. Great staff and very nice inside. Clean toilets. Really recommend this place!!!

Really good beef steak right in the piste! Was here 2017 and 2018 and now back again in 2023 for the Deluxe Sirloin!

Very rough with the tourists. The personal is very unpolite and locals are with privilege. We made reservation in the morning then local people start to bother us want to set at our places and when we ask to use our reservation from the restaurant say o no here is like this…

Waldgasthof Angertal/Hirschen Hütt'n is a renowned Gasteiner Ski Toque hut known for its top-class cuisine and cozy atmosphere. It offers a picturesque setting in the wonderful winter landscape, perfect for a day on the slopes. The restaurant is well-maintained and located not too far from the Angertal valley station, making it easily accessible in both summer and winter. Visitors can enjoy delicious food and drinks while taking in the scenic views.
Amazing place with wonderful views and welcoming people and of course the most delicious grilled fish
Najat A — Google review
Was here for over an hour waiting for the most disappointing lunch of the week. I understand it was busy but waiting over 20 minutes for drinks and 45 mins for food is not ideal when skiing. Would not return much better and cheaper places up the pistes.
Eleanor B — Google review
Waited over 20 minutes for drinks. When we enquired where they were, got a sassy response from the waitress about it being busy and that she didn't know. Food came after over 30 minutes for a simple goulash which other restaurants in the area managed to serve in less than 5, regardless of how busy it is. The goulash when it finally came was the most disappointing I'd had all week, despite it also being the most expensive I'd had. All in all I would advise you to avoid.

Gasthaus Jägerhäusl is a delightful establishment in Bad Gastein that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal on a rainy day. The service is excellent, and the food is truly exceptional. Their generous portion sizes make sharing dishes like the Snitzel a great option for two people. Don't miss out on trying their delectable Apfel Strudel, which is deemed one of the best in town.
Great place with good food and nice people in service. We definitely recommend salami pizza, soup and the vegetarian option was very tasty too. Decent prices and plenty of tables. You should definitely go there.
Mateusz K — Google review
We ordered the fried whole trout, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. The trout was clearly fresh, as it’s sourced locally, and you could taste the difference. The parsley potatoes and herb butter complemented the trout wonderfully, making for a perfectly balanced and satisfying meal. I learned that the manager has trout ponds nearby, and it’s clear he knows exactly how to cook it to perfection! Highly recommended. The service was really good. We received the table as wished near the window, even though first proposed further back.

We popped in for a late evening dessert and it was amazing! Also there was a techno event outside which was great to see! DJ was fire tbh 😅 The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the waiter was such a good guy! Highly recommend!
Nerijus M — Google review
A pleasant place that feels like a typical Austrian restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. I had the trout, which was absolutely delicious, and my partner had the goulash, which was also excellent. Overall, we were very satisfied.

One of the best restaurants here Everything is delicious Its my first option every time I visit. Their pizzas are one of a kind so delicious! As u can see nothing left from the food its so good !

Good restaurant with very friendly service. Most of the dishes we ordered were delicious and even the pizza was good. The only thing we didn’t like as much was the rolled meat as it was a bit dry but everything else was good, especially the soups!
Yaniv Y — Google review
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the waiter warmly welcomed us. Noticing that we were Muslims and wearing hijab, he kindly seated us in a quiet corner away from the bar, which we really appreciated. He took his time explaining the entire menu and gave us great recommendations. We ordered two pizzas — both were delicious — and a cheese salad, which was also great. But the highlight was the two fish dishes: one was salmon and the other a local specialty from their lake. The taste was absolutely incredible — the best items on the menu! Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. It was a wonderful experience.

My husband and I recently visited the town of Bad Gastein, Austria and frequently dined in this Restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet even with many other patrons. We had lunch a few times and dinner many times. We tried several different dishes and were never disappointed. All of it was excellent along with friendly and welcoming service. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing high quality food, kind service. Many vorspeize to taste, on the house. Loved the house bread with several toppings. Highly recommended!

If you come to the Bad Gastein area, put this restaurant on your list. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Our server guided us through the menu options and was very attentive. The wine recommendations were a perfect match for our dinner. We were very impressed with the included appetizers and salads. All ingredients are locally sourced and the flavors were excellent. We had the aged ribeye and fried chicken. Both were prepared perfectly. The aged beef was seared medium rare and served on a hot stone providing outstanding flavor. Side potato dishes complimented the meal. We were impressed with all aspects of our experience and would go back. Next time we try the trout!

Where do i begin? This restaurant was a culinair trip from beginning till end! There were so many flavours in all the dishes and the steak (filet pure) was the best i've had in my whole life! The dessert had the same high level as the first two dishes! Me and my girlfriend never left a restaurant more satisfied than here and are still wondering what all the flavors were! Keep up this amazing work!!

Fortunately, I stumbled upon this fantastic eatery during the final night of my vacation in Bad Gastein. It would have been ideal to have discovered it earlier. The staff were the standout performers of the evening and truly made my holiday complete. They skillfully recommended the finest wines that perfectly complemented the delectable appearance and taste of their cuisine. Kudos to the chef! After finishing dessert, I couldn't resist ordering a second main course as I was still intrigued by their risotto.
Wow, what an experience! We were a group of 3 and discovered this hidden gem only at the end of our vacation. We ordered the wild boar with Austrian dumplings, which was incredible juicy and tasty. The suggestion of Karin, our waitress, for a matching wine was also a hit, so I'm happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for top notch local cuisine off the usual tourist track. Note aside, we went there the next day again!
Thomas K — Google review
Very awesome place which is special to me (first business I visited upon leaving the US for the first time ever 6 years ago). Food is creative and delicious. Last night I had one of the best meals I can remember: the beef with the green spinach sauce. Perfection. The service and drinks are also on point. I love the aesthetics of the place, very classic and old school. If you go in the daytime, it has the best balcony view of Bad Gastein in the city (if you are not afraid of heights". Highly recommend.
Andrew K — Google review
A beautiful view from the open terrace overlooking mountainous river, great food, can't ask for more 💕
Julia — Google review
Sitting outside will grant a great view but the noise coming from the waterfall is annoying and makes conversation a little harder. The food was not the best but as promised from the menu. The food was ridiculously overpriced and the amount you get for your money is disappointing. We came in a group of eleven and saw others come and go before we even got our meals so don't expect a fast service unless you are eating as a couple. Overall we can not recommend this restaurant.
Just W — Google review
A really pretty place with delicious food and terrific service. I was weary at first about the low reviews but honestly, everything was great. Would happily return for another dinner!

Luckily we discovered this amazing restaurant at our last night of the holiday in Bad Gastein. We definitely whished we had discovered it before. The staf were our stars of the night and really made our holiday complete. Advising us the best wines combining to the delicious looking and tasting food, big compliments to the chef! After finishing dessert we even ordered a second main course, because I was still curious at their risotto. This place had the best looking and tasting dishes we could found in whole Bad Gastein and not forget the amazing view you have from the terrace. We are very happy with your effort and hope to get back some time soon. Thank you G. we will never forget you.

Café Schuh is a delightful, intimate, and traditional coffee shop with friendly and attentive staff. They offer an array of mouthwatering desserts such as blueberry cheesecake, caramel cherry, and Mozart Kugeln. The quality of both the cakes and coffee is exceptional. From the café, one can enjoy a scenic view of the entire valley. The interior exudes a nostalgic ambiance with its vintage wooden chairs adorned with rose/corral lace cushions.
My absolute favourite cafe in Gastein, it’s like stepping back into the old world. The ornate furnishing and old style service is quaint and wonderful without it being artificially fancy. Food is great - try the Marillen knodel! Cash only so don’t forget like I did and had to get cash from the other side of the waterfall. The location is also a great short walk from the main hustle and bustle.

Café Schuh is certainly my favorite Café in Badgastein. My very first visit was back in 2009, having my best coffee in Gastein there accompanied by oergaps the best Marzipan cake I had ever had. Since tgen, I visited Badgastein at least 12 times, and tried various cakes and coffees. Nowadays, Badgastein offers a number of new Café yet none of them can reach the level of Cafe Schuh! And the proprietor is itself a legend!!!

👍🏻 Good location on the hiking trail. 👍🏻 Very spacious indoor and outdoor seating spaces are ok. 👍🏻 I recommend ordering an omelette with mushrooms and cheese. 👍🏻 Their cappuccino coffee is distinctive and delicious. 👍🏻 Prices are acceptable. 👍🏻 The old owner of the café is friendly, kind and kind-hearted. ⚠️ Cash only.

Delicious cakes and dumplings, finally some really decent coffee in Bad Gastein! The place has a really old school vibe, it's definitely from a different era, which makes it great and gives a lot of charming atmosphere. The owner is a true Bad Gastein original!

Coffee is great, the cakes are outstanding. Everyone staying in Bad Gastein should pay a visit. The ambient is very unique: Vintage interior and very cozy and clean. If you are looking for special place to visit, which breathes the aura of Bad Gastein, this is the place! Hints: I can highly recommend "Eiskaffee" or "Eisschokolade". The homemade pralines are unbelievably good.

Betty's Bistro, very good service with good food. Limited menu items enable Betty's to focus on a few tasty items. Bao bun was good and well crafted. Beef sandwich was an open faced dish. Chicken skewers were not dry at all. Overall a good experience but I'm left not really wamting to go back. I would not give this restaurant a 4.9 as Google reviews have. Good but not great.

Food was very good. Very friendly Swedish owner. We had tapas and wine 👍 Prices are above Bad Gastein average though. It’s worth a visit if you’d like to experience the “new” Bad Gastein

Not worth the hype- overpriced mediocre food. Very small wine selection with only half of them local. All guests are cramped up on a small terrace outside (at least that was when we visited), nearly touching each others’ elbows as they eat.
Bad G — Google review
A delightful experience in central Bad Gastein. Very nice, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. The food is crazy good, easy on your gut and highly satisfying at the same time, and everything is freshly prepared. They have hearty, original vegan options (love their concept of minimally processed, delicately spiced, plant-based tapas & toppings!) alongside equally great specialties from meat. Reserving a table in advance is recommended as it's a small place. Dogs are also welcome.

I was lucky to attend a wedding in Bad Gastein and across from my hotel was Betty’s Bar the first place I went to upon arrival and the first place I would enjoy a coffee every morning for my five day stay. Whether I was with a group of friends or myself it was a staple in my stay.

Best coffee and Prosecco in town! If your after a coffee that matches the standard of Australia or New Zealand this is your hangout. Alternatively if Italian beer, frozen margaritas and prosecco is your thing then drink with the locals in the afternoon / evening here on the lovely sun soaked terrace. The staff and owners are also super friendly and speak an array of languages to cater for most. Also if your feeling a tad hungry the food here is excellent! Tapas, flambee, baguettes, cake, cookies and something called a deluxe brownie that can only be described as godly and should be apart of any sweet toothed pilgrimage.

It's an ideal spot for families, with a playground outside the terrace where kids can play while parents enjoy their meal. A real gem of a restaurant. Family run, local produce, everything cooked from fresh. Cosy with a lovely atmosphere. We managed to visit twice during our 2 week stay in the valley. The food is delicious, tasty and unpretentious. My favourite restaurant in the valley.

Very authentic and great Austrian cuisine. I’d recommend the prawns as a starter and the “baked” chicken as a main. To end the night on a sweet note take the Schwarzbeernocken, they are divine!

Great traditional food, especially mushroom soup of the day and a veal liver with the rice. Very friendly chef. The waitress (owner?) might be more welcoming. For this, one star less. Anyway, you would not make a mistake to stop for a meal here.

This a small, cosy and delightful restaurant. The food is local and delicious - this in a valley where good food is hard to come by. Reservations are mandatory as it is very popular with the locals.

I had a very good lunch here. Good service. Really nice potato mushroom soup of the day, well spiced, not to strong. I also had a small farmer salad. Fresh and not small at all for a small salad.

Hidden deep in Bad Hofganstein, found with the help of other googlers we reached this local authentic Austrian restorant We ordered the Veal "Wienna" Schnitzel, trout and hamburgers The kids hamburgers were very simple but... The Schnitzel was amaizing!!! The trout was Devine and the kaiserschmarrn was out of this world If you are in the neighborhood don't forget to stop by Highly recommended!

Nestled in the picturesque mountains, Angerblick is a charming restaurant that boasts a spacious sun terrace, making it an ideal spot for a delightful break. Known for its rustic ambiance and quick service, this ski hut offers a unique culinary experience with highlights like the alpine kebab made from marinated neck of pork. The menu features delicious options such as burgers crafted from their own beef, ensuring quality and flavor.
Nice staff with smile , good food , good schnaps , avarage beer

A great restaurant at the end of the hill with an impressive speed from ordering food until it is on the table. Many waiters and plenty of space if you are a large group or party. Is a lot of food and good. However, the price level is clearly higher than smaller restaurants on the slopes. The price is almost double on everything except beer, but if you are in a large group and the blood sugar is in free fall and the children are screaming then you are happy to pay the double price to get a vacant place and the food at once.
Niklas S — Google review
Really nice ski hut and the service is quick and really nice. Due to an injury I had to kill some time and decided to do it here. The staff was very nice and helpful, the food was very decent for such a tourist spot - the burgers are made with beef from their own cattle and really good. During lunch time it is really, really crowded bu, chapeau to the kitchen, the orders are fulfilled within minutes. It is a very nice spot with good staff - definitely a recommendation!

The on-site restaurant serves delectable traditional Austrian cuisine with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The spacious modern apartments feature a traditional touch with wooden elements and are fully equipped for a comfortable stay. An absolute gem of the Austrian Alps! This beautiful hotel is placed on the mountain side with a stunning view and ski in and ski out. Apres ski just next door, own bar and a restaurant serving nice traditional Austrian food with inside and outside seating (during daytime). Food can be brought back to the room or you can stay in the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. The apartments are large, modern but still traditional using a lot of wood, with a good floor plan and all well equipped. Extremely friendly and always smiling staff. Takes their time to talk with you, sits with you at the table for a short talk about your day, makes you feel very welcome, always ready to help with anything, nice and friendly to the kids. We have visited Herzwies a few times now and we truly love staying here! We will for sure return again and again the next many decades.

Friendly and efficient service, but unfortunately, the prices are too high for what is offered. The baked potato with sour cream was completely bland. The goulash soup was decent, though the meat was quite tough. The apple strudel with whipped cream wasn't particularly enjoyable, and the same goes for the chocolate and hazelnut cake. We'll likely look for a different spot for lunch during our skiing trips.
Anna K — Google review
We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment it’s beautiful and clean ,away from city center as it’s up the hill beside the ski slopes ...but no reception nor elevator no air condition as it was very inside and if you open the windows lots of mosquitoes are flying in the flat..sweet owner very helpful..

Perfect! We spent a rainy August week in one of the suites and it was everything we could have hoped for. I cannot imagine a more cosy and comfortable apartment. Great view, very quiet: even on rainy summer days it was a pleasure to sit in the cosy wooden living room or on the balcony, enjoying the view of the clouded mountains. The hostess was very friendly and the Gastein-valley very beautiful. We really loved the place and highly recommand it.

I definitely don't recommend restaurant. Very small portions of food with a messy finish on the plate. Service unprofessional, unpleasant and ill-equipped. From sitting down to the table and running through the food, you are constantly harassed by the staff and throughout the meal they show you to eat quickly and leave. They bring hot soup and a second course that's cold before you finish your soup. You haven't finished your drinks on the table and they'll bring you the bill to pay without prompting and tell you to leave and clear the table for other guests. We have never encountered such behavior in any restaurant before!!

It was great pizza I would say. Dough and toppings were wonderful and lady waitress was very welcoming and had great kindness. Local draft beer was great as well. I would like to sorry that I didn’t pay for tip because I thought it already included in the recipe. It was somehow confusing because I saw some tip related things when I tried to pay by card. Authentic italian food in Bad Hofgastein. The owners and chef are friendly. My mother-in-law who's somewhat picky ordered shrimps with vegetables. And she was satisfied! My kids loved the chicken nuggets. I ordered carbonara. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a tight and also their exhaust from the kitchen wasn't that strong, so the smell goes around the whole restaurant. And leaving the smell within our clothes.

Unfortunately, the Gasteiner Wirtshaus fell short of our expectations. We ordered spinach dumplings and deer schnitzel with pumpkin seed crust. The restaurant's fondue and raclette options are particularly outstanding, leaving a lasting impression for visitors. The servings are notably generous, ensuring satisfaction for hungry patrons. Cheese fondue tasted quite bland and its consistency was a bit off. It didnt really stick to the dipped bread at all. 🤭 Everything else - hot stone meats & raclettes was spot on though. Very cozy place.
Matti D — Google review
This is a traditional styled restaurant to relax and enjoy an evening with friends after a hard day of skiing. We ordered the meat fondue and the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was very nice as well. Good selection of meat for the fondue but the oil was too hot so we had to be very careful not to overcook the beef and veal. Maybe by using a beef broth (like we had in other ski resorts) instead of oil for cooking the meat would make it more tasty and environmentally friendly? Overall a very nice place!

Gatz Tapas & Steaks is an exceptional establishment with excellent staff and a delightful ambiance. The wine selection is superb, offering a wide variety that will surely impress anyone who tries it. The tapas options are fantastic, and the steaks are cooked to perfection, leaving nothing more to be desired. It's recommended to make a reservation beforehand as they often turn away walk-ins. The manager is outstanding, although some customers noted lingering cooking smells on their clothes the next day.
Highly recommended! Really friendly and attentive service here. The atmosphere is very nice. We ate here two times over our week long vacation. Food and wines are really good. The corn soup is really good for a starter or main course. The steaks were perfect also. The main courses are quite large so keep that in mind.

If you search for a real good steak, this is your place. We had the Tapas Gusto Platte, too - the lachs tatar, I could have died for.
Sonja G — Google review
What a fabulous place staff top of the tree. The wine was very good, just try and you will see for yourself. The tapas were great and steaks cooked to perfection, could not do anymore than they did. We had a good laugh, but would recommend booking a table, as they seemed to turn away a lot of people that had not booked. Manager was fabulous, the only thing that could be improved on, was a bit of cooking smell on clothing the next day. We would go back again and again.

Pretty decently cooked steak - went for the medium rare rib eye, tip de Sergio: go for corn cream soup, youll love it

The Gipfelrestaurant Stubner is an ideal establishment to conclude your day with a delightful evening meal. The breathtaking mountain vista is extraordinary, and the ambiance is exceptionally warm. I sampled the delectable chicken schnitzel, which was exceptionally flavorful. The service provided was exceedingly pleasant, with the waitstaff extending a warm welcome. While the lift prices may be slightly high, if you plan on ascending regardless, dining at this restaurant is certainly worthwhile.
Super friendly and efficient service. Food was fresh and of very high quality. Thank you for existing and giving us such a great time in this amazing location.
Richy Z — Google review
We came here around 1 pm. It is very crowded and you have to find the table yourself. Keep in mind that if you are in a group of 2-3 you will need to share a table. As expected prices are very high with tap water being almost 3 euros. The kids menu is highly recommended as it is a good portion while not being expensive. The coffee was average but the Keiserschmarn were very tasty. The waiting time for food was very short despite the place being very busy. Overall a nice lunch spot.

Gipfelrestaurant Stubner is an incredible restaurant café located at 2,230 meters above sea level. You can reach it directly with the Stubnerkogel cable car, a unique lift offering breathtaking views. All the highest mountains in Austria will be right in front of you. If you’re looking for a bit of adrenaline, there is also a suspended terrace where you can fully enjoy the surrounding environment. The food is very fresh with a wide selection. The staff is very kind and welcoming. An absolute must visit place highly recommended.

Orania-Stüberl, a restaurant in Austria, provided a memorable dining experience. Despite other establishments being full and the lateness of the hour, Orania-Stüberl welcomed patrons and extended their kitchen hours. The cuisine was delectable, complemented by picturesque surroundings. A commendable level of service enhanced the overall enjoyment. Over two days, visitors savored an array of menu options that consistently impressed with their quality.

I ate at Orania-Stüberl three times during my week in Bad Gastein, each time was fantastic. The staff is excellent. The atmosphere, building, decor, photographs are all a spotless and well cared for preservation of their history and heritage. There is an obvious and well deserved pride. Almost all of my family was born in Salzburg, and gasthauses were part of our history for generations...the food is authentic. Wiener Schnitzel is a simple dish, and you don't often find a bad example in Austria, but there are fine distinctions between good and authentically correct and great. This place delivers...if you know, you know. Orania-Stüberl is a great place for lunch or coffee and a strudel on the patio, but I'd encourage anyone to visit for dinner inside to really appreciate the tradition and perfection they deliver.

I had a delightful dining experience at Gasthaus Radhausberg. The service was friendly and accommodating, with the staff being fluent in English. Although they did not have an extensive menu or printed cards, all the dishes were clearly displayed on a board and expertly explained by the host. The food itself was enjoyable, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant boasts a pleasant interior as well as a peaceful terrace where guests can dine comfortably.

A nice restaurant on a mountain slope over Bad Gastein. Relatively easily reachable by foot (45 minutes if walking slowly, with no steep climbs or narrow paths), it offers a good alternative to the town's restaurants if you like nature and very friendly service. We have been here twice for dinner during our vacation already, and both times were excellent! The atmosphere is wonderful, the service is super friendly and attentive, and both the food and drinks are absolutely great. The wines I ordered were outstanding and paired beautifully with the food, served at the right temperature in proper glasses, what a delight. I’d read in the reviews that the Kaiserschmarrn is unbeatable, and it truly lived up to the hype. Absolutely highly recommended, make sure you eat here when visiting Bad Gastein!

The location of the hotel is perfect, with breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding nature. There is a true atmosphere of coziness and tranquility here. Plus, a ski slope is just a 6-minute drive away! The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, with a focus on comfort. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel right at home. The restaurant deserves special mention – the cuisine is simply exquisite! The dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients, and each one is a culinary masterpiece. I particularly recommend trying the desserts; they are a true gastronomic delight! Me and my company wanted to have a pizza here last week. We missed the sign that said we had to wait to be seated, this would prove to be a costly mistake. The waiter for the night was unbeliably rude, he swore at us the first thing he did because we missed the sign. The interaction ended with him offering to spit in our food. I cannot speak for the quality of the food as we understandibly didn't end up eating there but I would not visit the place knowing that particular waiter was still associated with the restaurant.

This is probably our favourite tea in Bad Gastein. We came during a pretty busy lunch hour 12:30, so that place was very busy. I must say there isn’t a lot of staff and because the place gets so busy they tend to be slow or forgetful. But when it comes to food this place is amazing. Compared to other restaurants in the area the portions are huge. The quality of the dishes are amazing even when it comes to something simple like fries. The fries were fresh crispy and salty. Furthermore the schnitzel was nice and soft and there is a great variety of vegetarian dishes that aren’t just salads. It is a must to end your meal with their Keiserschmarn that taste fresh, fluffy and deliciously prepared. The views are also great I may add. A must when skiing here!

(Translated by Google) Once you were deep in forgotten sleep, the halls covered with the dust of time. The doors closed, the light barely visible, no footstep dispelled the veil of dust. The voices that once echoed through the rooms fell silent in the dark, deserted halls. Only the waterfall, restless and free, told of life out there in the open. Then came a noise that broke the silence, Hammers whose blows spoke loudly through the corridors. Tools sang in halls of stone, Dust swirled golden into the daylight. Hands reached into walls and space, awakening the halls from endless dreams. Brought from deep sleep to morning, the old splendor shines in new splendor. Filled with new life, surrounded by art, the chandelier on the table like a feast for life. And once again I am your welcome guest, with you I find peace, with you my rest. Skirestaurant Junger Stube in Bad Hofgastein offers a cozy and stylish atmosphere, inviting guests to relax and enjoy a diverse menu. Whether craving traditional Austrian dishes or international specialties, this rustic eatery has something for every palate. The service has been described as initially indifferent but later becoming fast and friendly. Visitors have praised the delicious food, with highlights including apple strudel and gluhwein.
So nice restaurant with good food!
Kristiina O — Google review
At a wonderful location there's not much to suprise you. A perfect view was expected as well as mediocre skifood. There's both. The lady waitress wasn't able to say whether the burger was made out of bio (organic) meat. It wasn't. I felt sorry for the burger, what a loser. * - the burger - the beer - unmotivated staff + the sunny location + the music (old school rock&pop, a nice change)

Service was ignorant at the beginning but then fast and friendly. Food was good, nice place for rest and 🌞 Another visit 22.03.24 The waitress Yana was incredibly fast and friendly at all times. Drink was brought fast, food even faster. The taste for the Berner wurstl wasn't that great this time, better stick with the soups. Overall another nice experience.

Friendly staff bringing delicious food. Apple strudel was great 👍 and gluhwein very welcome in a cold day. The new covered outdoor area at the rear of the terrace provides welcome shelter if it's windy.

Really nice customer service. Food is delicous, especially the goulash soup!

The food was great but some portion small like the „Schnitzel" the waiter was very touchy and touched a kid on the head. Obviously this wasn't the fault of the business and she is hopefully going to get fired soon. It's a beautiful place with great music and a nice view. The other waiters were very respectful and nice. The food comes very quickly.

After an exhilarating day on the slopes, we found ourselves craving a hearty meal and stumbled upon Restaurant Goldbergstüberl. This charming eatery in Bad Hofgastein is known for its generous portions and traditional Austrian cuisine. The Wiener Schnitzel here is a standout dish, nearly as large as the plate itself and bursting with flavor. I also enjoyed their Piccola Milano, featuring beautifully presented breaded chicken breasts atop a bed of spaghetti bolognese.
When we got there we were greeted by the chef and waitress in a very nice way. Service was very good and it was nice to see great care was taken communicating with the elderly woman on a table close to us. The Weiner Schnitzeln was perfect, we could hear the meat being flattened a couple of minutes before being served. This place is highly recommended!
Roine S — Google review
Super surprised, seemed a bit more than average but you get much higher quality and a lot of food, so definitely better than most other places we ate. Will come again, we had deer, schnitzel and pasta chicken. All top notch. Amazing chef
Loes B — Google review
Bad Hofgastein has a range of traditional Austrian style restaurants that offer more or less the same menu. The Wiener Schnitzel that this restaurant is serving is not only almost as big as your plate but supertasty as well. I had the Piccola Milano (not sure if I remember that correctly): a bunch of breaded chickenbreasts, beautifully presented on a layer of spaghetti bolognese. There is a parking lot and though the restaurant is small, it has at least 1 table that could accomodate our party of 7. The service was very friendly and attentive. Downside is that that they only take cash, no cards.

Great place to stop and get a nice salad and beer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband speaks German and that helps but they also know some English. Very good service and wonderful food. A great stop all around.

Nestled in the charming town of Bad Hofgastein, DerSALZBURGERHOF offers a cozy retreat for travelers seeking relaxation and adventure. This inviting hotel features a lounge area, a heated terrace perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes, and an on-site restaurant that serves complimentary breakfast. Guests have praised the warm hospitality of the staff, who go above and beyond to ensure comfort during your stay.
We stayed here as part of a half board snowboarding holiday. We had a great choice of hot and cold breakfasts every morning. The evening meals were superb with four courses and the service from all of the staff was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel looks very modern and comfortable. Luckily we got an upgrade room. The elevators are between the floors, so you have to walk some stairs in any way. The restaurant is excellent. We had breakfast and dinner. We missed an wellness area, but the Spa "Alpentherme" is just within a few minutes walking distance.

My daughter and I have just enjoyed a good week here, booked through Crystalski. The hotel is well situated in the centre of this quiet town, either a short bus ride from the main ski lift or, as we chose, a 7 minute walk. Our room (204) was a reasonable size, clean and well maintained. We were on a half board basis and breakfast and dinner were varied and enjoyable. The waiting staff were very friendly and a credit to the hotel. Sadly there is not a bar/lounge area in which to sit and relax, which is where I would have added the extra star.

Great hotel for ski holiday, beds were very comfortable & food was excellent for half board. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner (not filthy or anything). Great having the use of the chill room too for evenings in

We celebrated New Year's Eve in Bad Hofgastein and spent 3 nights in this hotel. The staff was very friendly, service is warm and welcome. Although our room was extremely tiny and there is no extra space in the hotel to sit other than in the restaurant, our stay was nice. The hotel offers a skiroom which is accessable from the outside and there is only a 20 meter walk to the skibus heading to the slopes. Breakfast was ok, however the variety is boring after only 2 days. I recommend the space to travellers who prefer central location.

This is a traditional Austrian hotel that has been tastefully and stylishly up-dated. It is immaculately clean. Food is traditionally Austrian with modern touches, tasty and we'll presented. Service was quick, friendly and efficient.

My daughter and I live in London and last week we spent a week at the Salzburgerhof hotel. We ski regularly at a variety of resorts and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff were exemplary in their conduct and friendliness, nothing was too much trouble, when we decided to spend a day at the thermal spa in the village, they found us a rucksack and provided us with robes and towels, so we didnt have to hire them, without being asked. The food is innovative and imaginative, breakfast is a "help yourself" concept with a huge variety of hot and cold foods. The restaurant staff so professional and attentive. I noticed many austrian clientele in the restaurant, which is always a good sign. Our room was facing the square in front, good size, enough storage, uk channels on TV. Ski room is large with heated boot rods, and ski bus stops virtually outside and intervals are short. All journies are free to the lifts and neighbouring ski areas. Position wise, the Salzburgerhof hotel is in a really good place within the small town, in the centre, overlooking pretty square, church nearby, supermarket 30 metres away. I will definitely come back and will recommend to many. Daniella in the reception (and all her colleagues) are super friendly, helpful, efficient. Perfect week in a perfect hotel.

Beautiful charming place with warm people. The food was really delicious, surprising in taste and clear in the presentation. We took the vegetarian menu, and I would come back even just for a bite of the Miso cabbage. 👌 It was a true experience for us, changing from the classical Austrian restaurant. At the end, it is a really good price quality ratio for the evening experience you can have. 😊

A mountain hut located along piste number 14 on the way to Gastein – hands down the best food we’ve come across while skiing.👍👍👍 You can sit inside, where there are plenty of nicely arranged tables with benches or outside if the weather is good. The outdoor area features both tables and sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the sun when it’s shining.☀️ They offer a wide selection of dishes with generous portions, served quickly by a friendly staff. The skewers with fries are especially delicious, as is the shredded pancake with powdered sugar. That dessert is so enormous that even three people might struggle to finish it! They also serve great tea and mulled wine. We ended up eating there three times because it was absolutely worth it.

Louna V — Google review
The atmosphere is gorgeous. We loved the wooden house and the breathtaking view of the mountains. Yet the food was quite dissatisfying. There is a lack of vegetarian options. The rice is not cooked properly. The sausages we ordered were dripping in grease and quite unpleasant to eat. The fries were very stale and flavourless. The prices remain high while the food portions and quality don’t match that level I must say. The only good part was the skiwasser which had lots of syrup and the Keiserschmarn which were surprisingly fluffy and buttery. Also keep in mind this is all self service. When skiing in Bad Hof Gastein I think there are way better options when it comes to food.

The best thing about the restaurant is location with a view if waterfall. The food was normal maybe a coffee will be enough there next time.

I’ll keep it straight and simple, it was overhyped by a Saudi travel blogger and now most of the clientele are from the GCC, the only saving grace is the picturesque view, otherwise the service and food are atrocious. NOT WORTH A DETOUR, only visit it if you’re close by.
Hazim B — Google review
In short - a beautiful location with completely wasted potential. This place is, unfortunately, a total tourist trap - which is a shame, because it has so much potential. The location is fantastic, the space itself is beautiful, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The disappointment starts as soon as you open the menu. The food selection is extremely limited, and more importantly, the quality is very poor. You wouldn’t mind paying higher prices for a coffee (or food) in such a lovely place, but when it arrives, it’s honestly one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had in a café. What’s even more surprising is that the menu specifically mentions that service charge (tip) is not included. People would gladly leave a tip if they didn’t walk away feeling completely ripped off. The quality simply does not match the prices. I think whoever manages this place should seriously reconsider their approach - or maybe hand it over to someone else. All it would take is to buy better coffee and serve a proper cappuccino. Add a few more decent dishes instead of just fries and chicken nuggets, and this place could easily have much better reviews.

Was in Bad Gastein for Felsentherme and decided to have lunch here as it is conveniently in the building and you can eat at an area specially for people from the thermal spa, in bathrobes or towels. Sadly, food was salty and we were traumatized when we saw mold on the lasagna after one bite in. No apology from staff but one waitress gave us extra drinks, when we were paying to leave, so we couldn’t finish it anyway.

Lunch after a long morning of snowboarding lessons on the slopes. The waiter was great, tentative and very funny! On an out of the ordinarily warm February day, you couldn’t beat sitting in the sun trap of an outdoor area with a cold beer! The food was great too and a decent selection at that. I went for a Bergen Sausage which hit the spot perfectly and tasted so good. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch as the food and views are perfect!!

The icing on the cake was the friendly staff along with the owners, for whom their business and customer satisfaction are matters of the heart. We will definitely return, even in winter.

We stayed here in a family room, with our parents in an adjacent double and my sister's family in another family room. The rooms were immaculate, really beautifully and warm. Perfect for the kids with a separate room, and with the grandparents just across the hall. We all loved the breakfast and dinners, and it was perfect for us to not have to worry about any meals. Such a warm welcome from the team and really had everything you could ask for. We loved our Bad Gastein ski holiday and hope to come back again soon.

This is the second time that I spend few days in this awesome place. The apartments are clean and fully equipped. The position is perfect for skiers, since you can arrive at the slopes in 10 minutes with the free skibus. The staff working here is welcoming and always smiling. I will return again for sure! Feeling at home here is really easy!

We stayed in the apartments. It was quite alright, comfortable with a fairly big kitchen. A microwave would have been useful. The ski room should be way bigger. The sauna was in the main building, but that's understandable. The restaurant is tasty, but expect a lot of waiting. With 3 course, the dinner took us almost 2 hours. And the most annoying thing is that you have to pay for the drinks every night, you cannot put your bill on your room. Overall, i liked the place, it's a usual austrian ski hotel. Comfortable, and you can access to the ski lift by ski bus. It's a 100m away from the hotel and goes on n every half anhour.

Amazing hotel, with very helpful staff. Rooms nicely decorated. And the restaurant is one of the best, very tasty and creative meals. Definitely worth staying.

Very cozy stay ROOMS: spacious rooms with a balcony, majority of them have mountain view, other ones have side view on mountains. Bathroom with a shower, there are fridge, coffee machine (capsules are provided), teapot in the room. Bathrobes are provided. FOOD: breakfast is included - it’s a good buffet with salmon, different meat and cheeses, fruits and veggies, patê, corn flakes and different cream cheese and yogurt, bread and pastry. You can also book a HB with a dinner: there is a good restaurant in the hotel (I also reviewed it separately). Or you can have a-la carte dinner in the restaurant (main dish costs ~€18-25) FACILITIES: good wi-fi, spa with a sauna and an outdoor pool, parking zone STAFF: so nice and smiley! Very friendly and helpful. They make your stay excellent and very comfortable

Restaurant
The Bäckerwirtsgut is an Austrian restaurant that offers a great price for the quality of food it serves. The staff puts in a lot of effort and positive energy into their dishes, which creates a respectful and enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, where customers can enjoy typical Austrian cuisine that is delicious and well-prepared. Although the service might be slightly slow at times, this could be attributed to not making reservations in advance.
First of all it's great price in this area for this quality of food. Really feel the respect and good energy that they put in the food. And people are friendly too. We went there for two times and both are very happy experience.

Poor quality food and service (frozen vegetables, hot dogs instead of sausages and poor quality meat). Rude waitress who yells at customers and doesn't know what wines are in the menu. When we asked to bring a bottle of wine to our table, she was very rude and took the menu from our hand without saying anything, and a few minutes later another waiter came to the table, equally ill-prepared. I don't recommend 👎

Restaurant
Alpenhaus Prossau is a charming and inviting alpine eatery located at the end of a pleasant walk, boasting numerous highlights. The proprietor, known for their amiable and efficient service, adds an element of warmth and humor that sets it apart from the more surly establishments in Gasteiner. The delectable strudels sampled were all delightful, while the savory main dishes observed at neighboring tables appeared highly tempting.
A very nice hut at the end of a valley, easily reachable by foot from Bad Gastein. There are two beautiful waterfalls on either side of the hut, and while the area is woody, there are quite a few sights to be found there. I met a marmot near the hut, which is always a joyful experience. The food at the hut is slightly overpriced, but of good quality and the service is very friendly. I appreciated a complimentary schnapps with my Brettljause.
Oplan S — Google review
A lovely warm, cozy very typically alpine alm at the end of a trail up the valley. We went there twice during our holiday - once for hot chocolate and apple strudel and the second time for lunch when we both had a big salad. The hot food being served looked delicious but we were trying to avoid eating 2 big meals a day.
SarahFee M — Google review
Quaint and cozy alpine restaurant at the end of a nice walk with lots of highlights. Extremely friendly and fast service by the owner who is a warm and funny person. Not your typical grumpy Gasteiner service, a really nice change of atmosphere. The strudels we tried were all delicious and the savory main dishes we saw at other tables looked very appealing. Definitely recommended!

Only restaurant in the end of the valley. It is 5 km from Kotchach. Worthy visit this place and take some rest. Fair price for distant place. No card payment possible as there is almost no data connection. They have fresh fishes. I suppose it is open only in summer but every day.

If you find yourself in Bad Gastein, make sure to stop by GOOD GASTEIN Pizza | Pasta | Bar for a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike, especially for its authentic Italian cuisine. On one memorable evening, the owner graciously welcomed guests even after closing time, serving up some of the most delectable pasta imaginable.
On 25th December my husband and I were very hungry at around 9:30 PM, everything was almost closed all around but we luckily found this place which was opened. As soon as we entered, they told us they were closed but the owner let us in and served us the most delicious pasta I could ever ask for. The people were super nice and super welcoming. We went back the other day and had one of the best pizzas of our life beside we had in Italy. Highly recommend place.
Ayushi S — Google review
This cozy Bad Gastein pizzeria serves outstanding wood-fired pizzas with perfectly charred crusts and fresh, quality toppings. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and fair prices for a resort town. Book ahead during ski season - it's popular for good reason!
Vicki L — Google review
We visited Good Gastein in Bad Gastein, but unfortunately, our experience was anything but “Good.” I ordered the tomato soup and was served what can only be described as bread in tomato sauce – no liquid, no soup-like texture, nothing resembling what you’d expect. The chef refused to replace it, claiming I had simply “changed my mind,” and no alternative or fix was offered – even though past photos of the dish look completely different. In the end, we paid for a dish we couldn’t eat. The pesto pasta with burrata was excellent, and the salad was fine – though way too small for the inflated price. From the outside, the place looks inviting, and the pizzas seemed appealing – that’s why we came. Too bad the service and attitude didn’t match the look. We left with a sour taste, hoping they’ll improve – so that Good Gastein won’t stay just a wordplay, but actually live up to its name.

One of the best pizza places in Austria! Soft and chewy dough with flavourful toppings - Highly recommend!

We loved this place! The pizza and pasta were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. A wonderful dining experience
Khairya R — Google review
Firstly, when we arrived—despite having a reservation—we were seated in a cramped area that was not suitable for our group. Secondly, I was glad that one of the waitresses spoke Russian, which made it easier to explain things in more detail. However, the experience quickly went downhill. I ordered plain pasta with just butter, but it was completely forgotten. After waiting around 40 minutes, we reminded them, and they brought out pasta with tomato sauce instead. We sent it back and repeated the order, only for it to return with butter and cheese—despite me clearly requesting no cheese. Overall, I found the experience very disappointing and will not be returning.
Макар Щ — Google review
Lovely place and friendly staff, but the “soup” arrived with very little broth - around 10% liquid. When we politely asked to return it, the request was declined, and a later reply suggested we had already finished the broth before raising our concern - which wasn’t our experience. We’d appreciate clearer menu wording for this dish and a bit more flexibility when something misses expectations.

Hapimag Restaurant Kaiserhof, located in a luxurious hotel, may initially seem expensive but it offers a few available options. The food is delightful and reasonably priced. On subsequent visits, the shrimp black risotto and leg of lamb were exceptional, especially the latter. This establishment is highly recommended as one of the finest hotel restaurants in recent times. The service is superb and the ambiance pleasant. The deer raghu and tartar are particularly worth trying.

What a pleasant surprise. We're staying at the nearby Hotel Comodo and walked down for dinner. There's a very pleasant outdoor terrace. Staff are friendly and efficient without rushing you. The prices are fair, not inflated the way many hotel restaurants are and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband says it's one of the best schnitzels he's ever had (we live in Germany, he has lots to compare it to) and my salad with turkey was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely return here on future trips

Part of a fancy hotel, we first thought it's going to hurt the pocket but this was the only place who had a few places left so we anyway went there. Loved the food and the prices were completely okay. We returned the next day to the same place (forgot to take photos on the first day) and got shrimp black risotto and leg of lamb! Both were amazing especially the leg of lamb! Definitely recommended!

The restaurant Schafflinger in Bad Gastein offers a fantastic dining experience with attentive and friendly service. The traditional alpine cuisine is top-notch, with delicious and generous portions. The atmosphere immerses you in the local ambiance, creating a perfect setting for enjoying the high-quality homemade food. Although you may have to wait a bit to be served, it is well worth it for the excellent beer and vibrant atmosphere.
Austria cuisine. Great restaurant with tasteful dishes that equals with their prices. The family that runs the place is exceptional: the woman who welcomes you, takes the order, and serves with her daughters help when it's needed. And of course, behind the scene, the man who cooks. Thank you for all!

I recommend reserving in advance. They’re very busy, you have to wait a long time for your food to arrive, but it’s absolutely worth it. Very big portions, great price.

Very cute traditional Austrian restaurant in Bad Gastein. Food was extremely good. Tried the goulash, bratwurst, and the mushroom cream sauce - everything was super tasty. So tasty that we had to try the dessert as well and ordered the Eismarillenknödel and Eispalatschinken, both also very good. Will definitely come again the next time I’m in the area.

If you want fresh, delicious food in Austria this is the place. The menu is full of great options, especially if you like vegetables, and it’s also perfect for groups. The atmosphere is cosy, warm, and pleasant, but let me be honest: the real highlight is the service. Our blond, super-cute waitress was simply amazing. She has that rare talent of knowing exactly what you want even better than you do. Seriously, trust her advice, because it will be spot on (and you’ll be very happy you did). I usually think I know what I want to order… but clearly I don’t. She does. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and service that makes you feel at home or better. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere. We did not book in advance and although it was fully booked, with a little creativity, the hostess was able to place our family of 13, serve us in a timely manner and do it all with the most heart warming hospitality. The food was simply perfect. A wiener schnitzel and large Weissbier: it never misses. Huge thanks for having us and would absolutely recommend.

What a beautiful and typical Austrian diner. The atmosphere and ambience makes you enjoy even more the meal. The whole place is very characteristic and makes you feel at home with it’s beautifully arranged tables. The menu is written on a dashboard and it’s full of homemade and quality dishes: we ordered Spätzle, Frittatensuppe and pork with Knödeln, and the taste was really special and authentic. I would definitely recommend it if you want to enjoy both the food and the surrounding!!

Nestled in a charming setting, Prälatur offers an unforgettable dining experience with its remarkable schnitzels that leave patrons raving. The ambiance is steeped in tradition, evoking memories of the past when indoor smoking was allowed, as hints of smoke still linger. While the burgers could benefit from a heartier portion of meat, the standout dish here is undoubtedly the salad—heralded as one of the best ever tasted!
The schnitzels were amazing and the service was great. You could still smell the smoke in the restaurant from the times you could smoke indoors. The decor was very traditional.

Service was great. I had the veggie burger with fries and to be honest the fries tasted better than the burger itself, which had a very small patty compared to the bun. Furthermore I got stomach aches at night and had to sit on the toilet for half an hour presumably from the food because that's the last thing I ate. Proceed with caution.
