Great location, good information outside the restaurant, so you got a good idea what you're walking into. Greeted at the door with a full bar. This allows you to get something to drink while you wait for a seat. We were seated pretty quickly. Everyone on the staff were helping each other out. It seems like it is a pretty well run restaurant. The food was excellent. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning could not have been any better. The entire staff was amazing, the service was fast, and everybody seemed to know what they were doing. My meal was a refreshing treat. The Wine Room was really nice to see. This restaurant was built well and has a nice Montana feel to it. I highly recommend it. ..

Bar none, the best steakhouse in the region. Carbon County Steakhouse in Red Lodge delivers perfectly cooked, flavorful steaks paired with exceptional sides and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service is attentive without being intrusive, making every visit feel special. A true Montana dining gem.

I celebrated my Birthday here and that was a great experience! Out server was super nice and friendly, elk and cheesecake were super tasty!

Very nice steak house. We had excellent service. The atmosphere is great. My husband enjoyed his specialty old fashioned drink. The food was very good and served hot. We had dessert to share and it was delicious. Steaks were big and cooked perfectly.

Here just for the night and was craving a steak, the local cut special here was incredible, might be one of the best cuts of meat I’ve ever had. Their selection of wines, though expectedly small was very good for the area! Megan (sorry not name spelling), was the bartender and my server, she was great, very friendly and attentive, and despite a small hiccup with my dessert this meal was amazing, and very relaxing place to eat solo. Highly reccomend!

Super beautiful, contemporary restaurant with gorgeous decor. Steaks are excellent, as is the salmon. The sides are delicious and serving sizes are plentiful. The people are very friendly and helpful, as in most places in Red Lodge.

We decided to go there for our 14th wedding anniversary. Stepping into the restaurant, the atmosphere was cowboy chic but when we got to our table a "Happy Birthday" placard was there. Interesting. We ordered the mussels, crab cakes and a house salad for appetizers. They were all great! Main courses were: rib eye, cooked rare, halibut and chicken alfredo. The rib eye was AMAZING! I had the halibut which was seared with an impenetrable crust and lacked any flavor whatsoever. Kiddo had chicken alfredo, it was mid. Chicken was dry and the sauce was thick and clumpy. For the $242 price tag we were unimpressed. Go for the steaks and you'll be fine!

Food: The burrito was delicious and they gave me a little dessert for my birthday! It was very thoughtful. Chips were really good too Service: server was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere: Not crazy busy and has a lot of room and feels very spacious. A really cute vibe.

Food was good, service excellent. A bit pricey, although portions are huge. We all brought half our meal home. Chips and salsa are delicious. The joint is too loud. You can't carry on a conversation.

Nice atmosphere. Multiple seating options from high tables to more cozy booths so you can have a conversation. The margaritas do not disappoint, highly recommend! Chicken enchiladas was delicious. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere embraces you. We ordered tacos just like in the pictures, and they were absolutely delicious — huge, generously filled, and full of flavor. Excellent service with a big smile, and I can only recommend this place to everyone

The workers here are lovely people. The manager is a character and a joy to talk to, and she's not above bussing tables and refilling drinks! The food is fine for the price, and they make a killer margarita. Portions are big and they bring complimentary chips and delicious salsa to every table.

AWESOME ICE CREAM GOOD PIZZAS EXCELLENT SERVICE I dropped by here to get some ice cream and a pizza for my wife and I. The restaurant has a very nice selection of food - to include some very delicious pizzas. And they have about a dozen different ice cream flavours. It took about 20 minutes to make the pizza which is very fair. The Ice Cream was some of the best we have ever had. And the pizza was really good too. The service was absolutely incredible too - some very nice staff. Definitely a place to go for pizza.

I have eaten a lot more pizza than most people at my old age. This one is a bit lacking. The crust is more like a cracker than a nice pizza crust might even be one of the premade ones nice place nice server pizza is not all that great. Google AI added the caption to the picture calling the pizza delicious it was not.!!

I had been camping in the Beartooth Mountains for the past 5 days and was in bad need of some excellent pizza - Red Lodge totally delivered! The crust was light, the sauce robust, and the toppings were so flavorful and fresh. I topped it off with some of their Huckleberry ice cream. What a great experience - keep up the excellent work RLP Co.!

We had a great breakfast here. Loved the charm of it. Good service, friendly and accommodating. Home cooked breakfast and the garden looked beautiful. Highly recommend having a meal here in this quaint historic café.

I rarely give 5 stars!!! This cafe gets 5. Fresh Raspberry French toast OMG! Sis got the breakfast burrito and Auntie the eggs 🍳 and toast. So glad the sweet waitress offered Raspberries w/my French toast. The balcony was gorgeous and perfect setting for breakfast on a summer morning. Highly recommend this (off the main street) place.

I have eaten here numerous times and the food is always incredible, no matter what dish I try. This place is a must if you are in Red Lodge. After eating, you can stroll around the community garden that’s in the back of the cafe. So lovely! Thank you.

Fantastic diner! We loved sitting in their beautiful outdoor garden area, where they grow some of the produce that they use in their food. Servers were so welcoming and friendly - we had the chili verde, which was deliciou. Highly recommend this spot!

Excellent spot for brunch in adorable Red Lodge, MT. We loved the Tofu Burrito and they also have some vegan options for lunch that can be modified. Good black coffee and they refill often. Everything you are looking for in a cafe setting. Indoor with outdoor seating in the summer time. The perfect brunch before heading out on the Bear Tooth Highway Scenic Byway.

I’m not one to be petty and make a bad review on a local restaurant, but on September 26th at around 6:00 pm My girlfriend and I went on a date to Folos. We usually go to dinner here because of the good food and good people. We were met at the door after walking through the back to be seated. We were met with a half handed joke to make the other tables laugh. Followed by more jokes about her and I holding hands saying “there doing PDA folks”. At this point I was already pretty fed up. Our waiter then proceeds to take our order, I order the Marican melt, with no fries. He then asks my girlfriend, she replies with “just the spaghetti please” he replies with “of course honey”. Now I get it if a 60 year old man calls my girlfriend honey, but a mid thirty year old male in cargo shorts doesn’t fly with me. We finish our meals, which tasted great, other than he brought me the fries I didn’t order. He then proceeds to bring us the check. I tipped one dollar which seemed completely fair to me. We stand up to leave and he almost jumps to grab our check to read it. He follows it by “hey boss did we have a problem with the service?” I explained my problems with his service in a calm respectful manner. He then called me broke. I told him to look at my car. Over all I’ve always loved Folos, the other staff members are wonderful and inviting.

When on vacation I’m always on the lookout for a good burger. This place had probably one of the best burgers I have ever had! Great quality meat, seasoned well, good portion size and fresh with plenty of toppings! We also loved the fact that employees were wearing University of Michigan gear for the big Michigan vs. Michigan State football game. Being from Michigan it’s a big day and seeing so much of that even out here was great and made things even more homey. I wish I didn’t have to drive 2k miles to come back for another visit!

Dive bar atmosphere with cool college decor. Beef is all locally sourced and delicious, and the sides and appetizers are high quality. All around a great place with reasonable prices and a great beer selection. Go see Ivan for great service and banter!

We had the best food and the nicest, informative and best server Ivan! He is a gem!! My husband had the bison burger, I had the Swiss and mushroom burger with onion rings. Great place with great atmosphere. Too bad Michigan is so far away. We would be regulars!!

Great food. Very quick service and very friendly, cheerful and personable. My buffalo chicken salad was the best I have had. It contained celery, tomatoes, blue cheese, lettuce and the dressing which was fabulous! The chicken wings were excellent. Fun place!

Stopped in for breakfast because it looked like the kind of cozy local café everyone loves and I was right! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The menu offered a nice variety, and thanks to my server’s suggestion, I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast with sourdough toast and an amazing cup of coffee ☕️ . We enjoyed our food here very much. it was very flavorful. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The establishment was very clean. Lots of great decor atmosphere was pretty cool. We saw some live deer a couple blocks from here which was pretty cool as well. we will be back. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Piccola Cucina is truly the best restaurant in town. After a long day at Yellowstone Park a friend asked a police officer about a good place for dinner, and he didn't hesitate to name Piccola cucina. He said, "it is the best place here, and it is also good for a large group". What a great recommendation. So, I'm going to do the same for you. The service here was excellent, everything came out of the kitchen perfectly and in a timely manner. Keep in mind we were nearly 30 people. Everything was done to perfection. The food options are incredible and portions are huge. I just took a few pictures but anything you pick will be delicious. The pasta was al dente and the seafood was delicate and seasoned perfectly. Prices are moderate and according to most in the area. The wine list is not pretentious and has good wines. The dessert, tiramisu, was made table side and it was incredibly delicious 😋. Always a good choice. I strongly recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing dinner in Red Lodge! The soft-shell crab special was out of this world and the lobster pasta was incredible, my girlfriend and I loved every bite. Beautiful restaurant, great vibes, and awesome service. So lucky to have a spot this good right here in Red Lodge!

We are 10 women who have been friends for 35+ staying in the Red Lodge area. We decided to go to dinner at Piccola Cucina. It was a glorious fun heartfelt evening. From Edwin, who made sure our food was brought out timely, wine glasses poured evenly and answered all our questions patiently. To the food and the atmosphere. Pulling the entire restaurant customers together in laughter, music and fun to having intimate conversations at our table. All of it wonderful. We’ll be back again, all of us.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, and the Tiramisu is made table side. Overall a great place to eat. Recommend making a reservation as it does get busy.

Piccola Cucina at Ox Pasture in Red Lodge, Montana, is a true Italian gem, offering authentic Sicilian flavors in a warm, homey setting. I had the calamari – superbly seasoned and absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the lasagna, which was equally tasty and well-balanced. The décor transports you straight to Italy with soft Italian music in the background, and the service was friendly. Highly recommended for a delightful Italian evening!

This brewery was amazing. The food was as good as the beer and the service was friendly and quick! We had a beer flight and a lager. We also had chicken tenders along with a salad. Everything was hot and delicious. The salad was fresh and we got some of their guacamole to add to the top. All 5 beers we tried were tasty! Thank you for making us feel welcome and at home. Great spot.

Most of the food was great! The wings were absolutely so amazing but was not a fan of the nachos. The nachos left an awful taste in my month, but the wings were just a gift so yummy!!!! Also the tap was pretty darn good.

Two stars because the food is good and atmosphere is really nice. Service needs a revamp. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour for food. I visited for lunch with different sets of visitors two days in a row in July. At my first lunch, the server didn't seem too happy about doing her job. It took about 45 minutes to get the food. On the second day, we seated ourselves outside as instructed and waited. After 5 minutes I got menus at the bar. After 10 minutes we ordered our drinks at the bar. At about 15 minutes, I found the server (same one from day 1) and told her we were ready to order. At this point, we noticed that about 5 tables that came in after us were getting drinks and placing orders. Since the server never came to our table after 20 minutes, we flagged down the hostess that was now on duty and she was able to take our orders. The hostess (rower) was very helpful and attentive. The food then took about an hour to arrive, but was good. They need more servers or a better system for seating patrons and taking orders.

We sat outside, it was only a little windy. The food was delicious as I got the pulled pork sandwich with homemade chips, son got the tacos and hubby got the Cuban sandwich with fries. I had a LG. Beer with an orange on the rim. The Service was great. Our server took our picture outside among their beautiful flowers!

Great experience. We had the pulled pork and fries. Both were very good. Tried many selections of beer. Enjoyed all of them. Atmosphere was great. We had exceptional service from Jami. She was always there when needed and was very knowledgeable about the beer.

Esther was incredibly rude to my entire family when we recently visited. She would snap at us when asking for things and rang up/brought menu items we never ordered to our table. Not quite the right demeanor to be a bartender if you ask us! Beers were on point & atmosphere is wonderful with games outside for children — these are the reason for 2 star review :)

We went to Red Lodge this past weekend! We stopped at Natali's this was the best food ever! Shane was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed ! Everything was wonderful! Thanks Shane for going above and beyond and being so patient and friendly to our family! They even have gluten free options ! Delicious!

Fantastic private chef service. Our group was in town from NYC. We regularly eat out at top restaurants in NY with very hard to get reservations and I can wholeheartedly say this food was top notch. The service was excellent including clean up and serving. We will use this amazing duo whenever we are in town! The flavors were strong and the ingredients were fresh and local. Such a quaint place with a private patio in the back. They have a delicious assortment of items. My husband and I both got the burritos and iced coffee. The burritos were stuffed with sweet potatoes, potatoes, pulled pork, egg, and homemade salsa on the side.

Super cute little eatery in downtown Red Lodge, MT. We decided to split a piece of their quiche of the day and a roasted beet salad. The food was amazing. Not that we were surprised but it was really good for a small little out of the way shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really great food. It’s the type of restaurant where I’m already planning my next trip even before I’m done eating because everything sounds so delicious. My husband Sterling and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary at The Wild Table this morning. The food was stellar and the staff was superb. I had quiche, beet salad, brownies and this amazing crepe strawberry creme tort with a lovely chocolate ganache frosting. This culinary experience surpassed my greatest expectations. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly. It is evident that they love food and take great pride in their amazing culinary skills and creations, and they absolutely love their culinary patrons. Thank you to The Wild Table for making our anniversary such a special day.

Looking for the world's best breakfast joint? Look no further. Seriously, your search is over. Incredible food, genuine staff who have such passion for what they do, and the best chai you'll find! Bonus: rotating specials with all sorts of delicious creativity! Highly recommend the Montana Lox (pictured below; friends can attest I never shut up about it), the bison meatloaf sandwich (on fresh sourdough bread, crazy good), and literally anything else on the menu. Heck, channel your inner Hobbit and go back for second breakfast!

Just had an amazing breakfast unfortunately I didn't take a picture. So great I asked for another poached egg. Both perfectly cooked, Shakshuka! The special today!! Should be on their menu for every day!! My husband had the burrito and happily satisfied too!! I'm glad I live here!! I will take a picture next time of the food!! I thought this was cute!! Love wooden spoons, and my daughter loves farm animals!

We came to RLA for the 1st time yesterday- and I’m so glad we did!!! Between us we had the Rueben, a burger, and the pretzels. All were PHENOMENAL!!!! I had the pretzels with the beer cheese - OMG!! That beer cheese!!! I could eat a barrel of that by itself. My husband raves about the Reuben, my daughter loved the burger. I stole some fries from their plates - best beer battered fries I’ve ever had. We had a couple of the local brews - FANTASTIC. 20/10 recommend RLA!! We will definitely be back any!!!!

Awesome location and aesthetic! Loved the hop vines on the lattice and the beer was good. The servers looked like they hated their life and no hospitality or sense of urgency. My Caesar salad was soggy and the chicken on top was cold and hard and the pastrami sandwich had almost no filling inside so we had to ask the server if we could get anything else to put inside the bread. Won't be returning.

Stayed in Red Lodge on our way to Yellowstone. Stopped at Red Lodge Ales and had a great time! Friendly staff and locals to talk to. My wife and I both were given samples of beers to try before we purchased one we each liked. Outdoor patio seating as well as indoor seating. Would go back again!

When we arrived we took our table and were greeted by our server. We ordered two Cubans (one with no mustard) and two flights of beers. The server did not have a note pad and insisted she was fine to remember the order. Calling what we were served “Cuban’s” would have made Jon Favreau punch a chocolate lava cake. The heavy, doughy ciabatta esq roll it was served on wasn’t even toasted and was all I could taste. I wasn’t able to taste the “applewood smoked pulled pork” or the allegedly grilled ham. There was also no cheese and they both arrived with mustard. I genuinely ponder if the chef even knows what a Cuban is. I asked our server about the mustard and she said that she forgot to add a note to the order and replaced the sandwich. Both of our flights were wrong and both had a beer that neither of us ordered. The beers were mediocre at best and we didn’t finish them. We were then given our bill without asking for it in the middle of our meal, when we checked it we had an additional $15 charge for the applewood pork which says it was included on the menu. Our server apologies and said she was unsure why it was on there and removed it. Overall an entirely disappointing experience and its only saving grace was that the food was warm. The server should have had a note pad as there were at least five mistakes with our order and could have been avoided by just writing it down. The food was expensive for what it was, poor quality, lacked taste and substance and although our server was nice, the service was poor. Avoid and pick somewhere much nicer in the town centre.

Food smells great. Atmosphere on the patio is lovely. Hostess found us a comfortable shady table. After 15 minutes of being seated, watching others being escorted to seats,we saw a server....go to greet and take orders from 3 tables that had been seated well after we had been seated. We left.

We went to this brewery after a long day of riding motorcycles absolutely starving. It said seat yourself, but then no one came over to us for 30 minutes, and we had to ask for someone to come out to us. It was not busy, only 3 tables outside including us. Our waitress was kind, but rarely checked in. We ended up having to order some of our food at the bar because it took so long. We had the beer cheese pretzels which was good, but the food was really overpriced for the quality. I really hate leaving less than amazing reviews but we were all pretty bummed with how big our tab was for such a poor experience and food.

Great beer and outdoor area! Our server was not friendly , at all. It was not busy and she just seemed really annoyed and rushed. She actually brought us the bill while we were eating( not close to closing time) not asking if we wanted another drink or dessert. Worst of all, my daughter got food poisoning!

This was a cool little spot with seating outside and tables along the river. You order at the rail car, and they notify you when your food is ready. We had burgers, which were good. Our friends had milkshakes, which they said were really good.

We have always heard good things about Redbox car, but we’ve never gotten the chance to try it until this weekend. On our way to Cooke city we decided to stop for a quick bite. It was delicious! We got a ton of different things: burgers, chicken tenders, shrimp and onion rings and it was all so good and we got it pretty fast. We loved eating on the picnic tables by the river. It was a beautiful spot.

Can't believe this was still here after all this time. Feels nostalgic because I got ice cream here when I was very young. 2 scoops of Cotton Candy ice cream was $5.75...it was delicious! Its such an amazing spot along Rock Creek!!

We have been coming here for 25 years. Love the setting by ths creek. Kind of disappointing tho, as the prices just keep going up, like everything else does, but there is no maintenance done to this place. They used to have indoor bathrooms, but now only portable toilets outside that were very full. Seems like the money must be going other places instead of maintenance foe the customers to enjoy.

It’s fine if you need fried food that your kids will like. Located in Red Lodge as you head to the mountains, it’s your last stop for food/milkshakes. Located right next to Rock Creek, location is good.

Stopped in for a simple quick bite. Ordered chicken nuggets and tater tots. Waited about 5 or so minutes. Food arrived it was FRESH and hot! Service was great and quick. Just a good place to stop by and get some food!! Great view of Rock Creek!

This is one of the best spots for Mexican food in Montana. It would even be right at home in Tucson, Arizona. Even the flower tortillas are good.

I'm originally from Chihuahua, MX. This place brought back memories from home with their food. Classic, homestyle flavor. The vinegar carrots & jalapeños slices were the perfect side for the rice & beans. I ordered the enchiladas rancheras. They looked more like quesabirrias than enchiladas but the taste and flavor were 15/10.

Stayed in Red Lodge and Palmita was recommended for authentic Mexican food. Decided to give it a try, and found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality of food we got. I ordered the asada (steak) burrito and my wife ordered the chicken burrito. Both were VERY good, having rice, beans, lettuce, wrapped in a large flour tortilla shell. My wife couldn't eat all of her burrito, they were that large!!

Delicious Food! If you are looking for fast food with amazing flavor , look no further! This is such a hidden gem , kind service and very quick. Will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service was outstanding. We ordered takeaway so we were not able to experience the atmosphere, but I can only assume that it was at least as good as the food and the service if not better. Thank you very much for a wonderful meal and we hope to enjoy many more.

I got a hot sweet Melissa and the gals running the place were SO kind and the coffee was PERFECT!😍🤤 I went up to tell them it was delish and they topped it off with even more foam.🥹 So nice. Made my day! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

My husband really enjoyed his med roast black coffee & I the peach, apple cider iced beverage. We shared a mint brownie that was delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly & efficient staff and the my vote for cutest bathroom in Red Lodge!

I went in and stood at the counter with the other customers and I waited patiently for it to be my turn. Some other people came in minutes after I did and stood at a different location, the lady told me that they were first in line because I did not stand in the correct position. There are no clear signs directing customers as to where the line starts. She clearly saw that I had come in before the other customers and was ready to order. The proper way to have handled this could have been for her to politely point out where the line starts for me in the future and take my order at that moment. Instead she needed to prove her point I guess and make sure to lose a customer.

I can't recommend this coffee shop enough. The workers and owners are super friendly and helpful, and the selection of prepared drinks, syrups, and whole bean coffees is very impressive. They make baked goods daily, and have a wide variety of sugar free syrups.

Absolutely wonderful spot, unexpected variety of coffee wonderful selection of breakfast and lunch items. The standard drip coffee was incredibly smooth and flavorful. Even if you’re not a coffee person the atmosphere and food are worth stopping by.

Great choice for a coffee in Red Lodge. The beans are roasted right there on site at the back. Staff were friendly and the general atmosphere is welcoming and unassuming. Good place to kick start the day with some caffeine.

We loved this place! The food was excellent, service by Taneija (sp??) was superb, and just an overall great experience. The volume of the live music was a bit loud, but tolerable. I enjoyed a huckleberry mocktail. The suggested French dip and elk stroganoff were both excellent. Though we were full, once we saw the Buttercake, we had to get some. Oh my, delicious!!

While in Red Lodge this is a must! We sat at the bar both times we stopped. The first time we had bacon wrapped dates to start and Elk Medallions with a peppercorn sauce, delish. Next visit we started with the seared tuna app, for the main course we both had bison filets with a bordelaise sauce. Our drinks were on point, Bighorn Whiskey with ginger beer for hubby and then 2 Coco Caldera’s because hubby wanted one too. We would definitely revisit the place again.

An excellent find on a Monday evening! Great waitstaff, nice wine and food choices. A great top shelf old fashioned to start. Elk medallions for an entree, were over the top, and cooked perfectly! So good we bought the kitchen a round! Took a delicious pumpkin chocolate cheesecake and a bottle of wine home for later. Sydney our waitress knocked it out of the park!

My wife and I had the most delicious meal and enjoyable evening last night.Our waiter, I wish I got his name, was superb; as was the meal and the cocktails. It was a lovely setting with a very enjoyable musical guest. My wife ordered the Elk Medallions with an amazing pepper cream sauce over garlic herbed mashed potatoes. I ordered the bison tenderloin with Sauce Bordelaise served with crispy crushed red potatoes. I wish we lived closer so we could return to try more of the menu. We strongly recommend.

Delicious food in a nice, cozy atmosphere. A few times there were some pretty rowdy crowds making it extremely loud and difficult to have a conversation which the staff didn’t put a stop to unfortunately. The staff is friendly but many are off putting in their attitude and demeanor. Not the best service but certainly not the worst in town either.

Amazing French dip, garlic shrimp and elk stroganoff was great. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and organized. We loved it.

Nice restaurant located on the main street of red Lodge, Montana. Easy to walk to from local hotels. They had a pretty limited brunch menu, but their food was tasty. Service was friendly and attentive.

Great bar! The old fashioned made for my wife ranks as one of the best she's ever tasted. I had Ayinger Octoberfest from Germany that was exceptional. The two apps, carrots and pork belly were good, but could have been better. The pork belly was dry, the carrots a tad bland as served. The pizza was very good, with a crisp/tender crust. Both bartenders were excellent. We also had a nice visit with the owner, Mike. For a Tuesday night in a new town (on our way to Yellowstone), it was a fine evening overall. PS: the old album covers in the hallway and restrooms were cool.

Every visit is made special by Travis, whose recommendations—whether for food or drinks—are always spot on. The food is an experience in itself, and I’ve never had a dish I didn’t look forward to returning for. The atmosphere is always vibrant and welcoming, and the entire wait staff is attentive, ensuring a fantastic experience every time. And don’t miss their award-winning espresso martini! Can’t wait to come back!

I cannot express how wonderful the staff, food, and drinks are here. Chef and sous chef came out after our dinner party was wrapping up - which everything on our menu was delicious. If you are here during the 2025 fall season, get the noodle option. I am still craving it! Everything was exceptional. The restaurant manager, Selena was truly the best along with the bartenders! Thank you Magpie for everything. Your staff and food made our night!

Had another outstanding meal here this weekend, followed by live music upstairs. Every employee here is extremely friendly and helpful, and even when there were (minor) issues with our meal, their response was immediate and assured. My *only* suggestion would be to have a clear space for people to stand when waiting to be seated. The place was packed when we arrived and it felt awkward standing in the doorway.

My now husband and I were looking for a venue to have our wedding rehearsal dinner and went with the One Legged Magpie. We worked with Kat and she was absolutely wonderful!! She did a beautiful job with the rehearsal dinner setup, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere were great! Plus, everyone we talked to that worked there, were so nice! I highly recommend this place! And thank you Kat and the rest of the staff for all your hard work. We appreciate it!

My wife and I had a birthday event here with our friends this past weekend and it was an overall excellent experience. The food, service, and drinks were phenomenal. Kat made planning the event a breeze and personalized, which made the experience all the more pleasant. We will be making this spot a regular visit for us when we visit Red Lodge! If you have not tried this place, give it a shot. Super relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

One of my favorite restaurants in Montana and an excellent addition to Red Lodge. Creative, seasonal, but rustic menu with refined cocktails and warm service. The pork chop lives up to its reputation as the best pork chop in Montana. Also recommend the spring pea salad, pizzas, and butter scotch putting. I make a point to stop here every trip to Red Lodge. All around outstanding restaurant.

The guy that waited one was quick and efficient. He listened to how I wantedy sandwich built. I tried the chicken, bacon ranch and it was delicious.

Doors locked at 9:15 w 9:00 opening posted. I saw workers inside so I knocked to no avail. So I called and asked if they were open with response, "I will unlock the door for you", with an attitude. Sandwich made by girl with an attitude and barely toasted. Won't go back.

Top tier subway, even higher tier franchisee/manager deciding on the marquee.

Terrible experience felt sick after eating there. Food was terrible and was not fresh at all. We were told that we would receive a full refund and a gift card, that never even happened. We will never go to that Subway again. We travel all over the United States and go to a lot of subways and this was the worst.

Food for thought, this particular subway is the best I've ever been to. The employees are taught to be fast and efficient while still keeping an upbeat attitude all the while. I highly recommend getting the rotisserie chicken on a 12 inch cheese bread and have them put rotisserie chicken on 1/2 and crispy bacon on the other half and have them put it in the oven for three times in total. I ask for red onions, spinach, and tomato with a big squirt of their custom peppercorn ranch dressing. The taste is foodgasmic to say the least.

The food was so good - fresh bread, delicious cheese and real ham - I didn’t get a picture! We had a watch party and only one of us could leave. She was back so quick and said the staff was great. Very efficient at making six different subs, friendly and happy to see her.

I like how the service there is always quick and straightforward. The employees clearly know what they're doing and are excellent at putting together a good sandwich. Unlike other Subways I've been to before, this one is always much cleaner and more organized. I personally enjoy the steak they have there along with some fresh lettuce or spinach. It's a good place to go if you want a good sandwich made fast. Their iced tea is also pretty good too, and I would recommend it for a quick lunch break.

Super great! The band on March 29, 2025 was super awesome!! DTR rocked out all night long! They should return again!!

I went here 15 years ago. absolutely loved it. COOL ATMOSPHERE. Live blue grass band was there that night. I requested blue moon of Kentucky and they KILLED it. Bought them drinks the rest of the night 🤣

Update , wow was in here again the weekend of August 5th on a Saturday night and this place was rocking. The band that was on the upper balcony alcove this lady had a set of pipes they were tearing it up This place was a lot of fun. Friday night was a couple wedding parties It was so packed we could not even get in so we went over to The Blue which also had a good crowd great bartenders What a great town.

Boo! We’ve been going here for years. And i mean years. We just walked in with a big group of people to shoot pool and have a drink (in the middle of the day), and we didn’t even get in the entrance before the most rude 20 something lady told us not to come in. Apparently, although she gave no reason at all, they don’t allow minors any more. Keep in mind, we live in Montana and go to all establishments with our kids and family. We’ve never been denied, especially not SO rudely. It’s one thing to have a policy change, but another to be SO rude before we take two steps in the front door. We like to spend money there. Definitely not anymore. Make sure your friends know, they don’t like local families anymore and for “good reason” according to the new 20 year old in charge.

When in red lodge, you must hot snowy creek. While I love most places in red lodge, snowy creek is my fave. The people are super awesome and the staff is even way cooler. An absolute must visit!

Snow Creek saloon is great. I visited today and I've been there one other time 20 years ago or more. Last time I was there was the day that Jerry Garcia died.I always remembered the place so I was in the area and decided to visit. It is now, like it was then, by far the coolest place in Red Lodge which is a pretty cool little town.

If in Red Lodge and are looking for a place with drinks and a great atmosphere this is it. Staff was super helpful with planning our Bear Tooth Pass ride. 👍👍

Pretty straightforward cafe style breakfast. Had the works omelet, wife had French toast and oatmeal. Mine was delicious. Wife was a little disappointed. Simple menu, 12 tables, 16 stools and a super friendly waitress. Leave the Biden shirt at home, lol

Breakfast was absolutely perfection, this is my favorite breakfast restaurant in Red Lodge from now on!!! Highly recommended.

Very nice and cozy place to have breakfast. The place is kind of hidden but it's really good. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast if you're traveling or camping nearby. The food was very tasty and homey, the people there were very friendly, welcoming and nice.

Really disappointed with breakfast after reading the reviews. Small portion sizes for the price. The pic I posted was of the $11 breakfast. The food was really greasy, there was a huge pool of oil under the hash browns. The pancakes weren’t great, they had a baking soda after taste. Service was good. Waitresses were super friendly and food came out relatively quickly.

So disappointed. We used to go there on our anniversary but have gone south the past several years. I was so excited to go and had studied the menu online. We got there, it was empty except for us. We were given a menu with a chicken sandwich, a hamburger, chicken Alfredo, another pasta they didn't have, and one steak. The special was chicken marsala, so we had that. No soup at all. The salad was a bit of iceberg lettuce. We've always had such a wonderful time there, the food was mediocre, and the experience was so disappointing.

Recently visited for a birthday party. Awesome location and a cool old building. I had ordered one entree and the wrong one was brought out. Since I was with a large group and did not want everyone to wait, I kindly said I would eat it. Very salty and not my favorite. Waitress was new and was nice but definitely a rookie!

Amazing location beautiful scenery however, I ordered a medium rare steak. If that steak was medium rare I’d hate to see what rare looks like. Probably all four hooves attached. It had good flavor but lost a bunch after the second time on the grill. Could have used a third time on the grill as well. I called to make a reservation and in the background I could hear “they better be coming like right now”. Our waitress was very nice as well as the gentleman who was behind the bar. But some of the other staff were pretty rude.

Very cozy classic fine dining. Food ranges from incredible to inedible, and the service is equally inconsistent. I've had some truly delicious dinners here, but also experienced some catastrophes. At least it's never boring!

I have eaten here on three different occasions and every time there have been new items on the menu and it is always delicious! Cute little restaurant with the river running by (great photo opportunity!) Would recommend making reservations a head of time, especially for larger groups and not be in a hurry. Sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious food and scenery!

For the amount of$$ you pay, I expected better quality of food and service. Twice through the buffet line and no fresh food. Mashed potatoes dish was empty. Turkey was sparse and what was left was sitting in what look like water. What's Thanksgiving dinner without desert? Well didn't go near it. It looked like it had sat out all day and was crusty looking. Service was downright horrible. Asked for a glass of water and sat for 20 minutes and watch the waitress serve water to an empty table. Not once did she make any kind of eye contact with us. Never will I eat there again. One shot and they blew it.

Fun little Italian place which stands out thanks to friendly and personable staff. The choice of local beers, both on tap and in cans, was tremendous. One minor complaint was that they ran out of penne (which is a problem for a pasta place) but they were really nice about it and I would definitely try it again.

Everything was delicious, I loved my chicken fettuccine Alfredo, it was creamy and soooo good! The bruschetta was so delicious and satisfying. 💗

My wife and I Really enjoyed the food and the customer service in this place. the architecture is incredible and my little boy loved the macaroni and cheese, the price for food size and quality is amazing.

Absolutely wonderful service! Jake is terrific! I love the atmosphere. We tried 3 different pasta dishes and all of them were really tasty and authentic Italian. Prices are reasonable, really great for the amount of food. My new fav in Red Lodge!

Italian restaurant in Red Lodge. I didn't have very high expectations, but I really enjoyed my meal here. Cozy little place. Chloe was our server and the service was great. My wife had a baseball steak with shrimp that was prepared nicely. I had the Rock Fish with risotto. My experience is that risotto is either really good or it's really bad. This was really good and the fish was excellent. I'm not a big fan of cheesecake, but the lemon chiffon cheesecake was light and delicious.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food! Eating out with my Vegan friends and my Gluten problems can be tricky to say the least, but Pom had great tasting alternatives that worked for all of us! I can't wait to go there again!

We had an great time at the Snag Bar and we really didn't want to leave. We had burgers and they were awesome! Huge portions and the beer was cold. The bartnder, Marilyn was a hoot. Quaint little bar in Red Lodge we stopped in after our epic ride through Beartooth pass. . Good selection of pub food and reasonably priced food quality was definitely pub food, but hot tasty and fast .. Red Lodge is a beautiful little town and the snag bar bar snagged us. Will visit again 🤙

Food was alright, but service from Rossilynn was absolutely lacking, she asked me for a drink, I said a soda, then she ran off to do other things till I reminded her about my soda. Then, from there on out she was very quiet, dropped off my food without saying a word. Felt very cold and judging! Same with her dropping off my ticket. (which yet again i had to ask her to do that as I was in a rush to get ready for the renaissance festival and I had at that point finished my food like 5 minutes before) Only thing I liked about this place was the atmosphere, loved all the old photos of red lodge on the walls. Best in red lodge for breakfast joints in that regard... but to be fair there isn't all that many breakfast places here.

Great breakfast! Had the western skillet and the eggs Benedict and the ham in dish was high quality and delicious. The service was great. Shout out to our server Maya who was a blast to talk to! She was friendly and awesome! The cafe has a great ambiance to it. The eggs were cooked perfectly as were the veggies. Never ran out of coffee or water! Excellent service and excellent food. Highly recommend!!

The food was disappointing at best. My wife had chicken fried steak. It was badly burnt and very tougn. When we spoke to the waitress she went to the back and offered half off her part of the bill. Half? It was inedible. My main course (breakfast burrito) was fine. Both our meals came with country fried potatoes which were cold, burnt fries. Not impressed at all.

I haven’t tried the food. But I must say ✨ Jimbo the bartender knows his stuff — that Huckleberry martini is straight-up heaven in a glass 🍸 Don’t miss it!

There is an older waitress there who treated us less warmly than the other patrons. The only difference between us and them was the melanin in our skin 🤔. Food tastes good albeit a bit overpriced for the portions you get (see 1/2 sandwich in pic).

Food was OK, seemed a bit pricey for what I'm used to. Waited a while to be seated, but I think not staffed for the situation. Most other options had an hour plus wait. We're were able to start eating before then. The service was good at the little cafe in a bar.

Have had their food once & it's good. However, have went back a few more times & service is terrible. Each time we ended up walking out due to no service. Final time we waited almost 20 min & never did get welcomed or waited on. Won't be returning nor recommend this establishment.

If I could give them negative stars I would. We came in saturday july 27th 2019 and it was during the car show. It was not busy. They just had a rush which I understand. But the waitress was sooooo rude and she acted like she had never served food before. The burgers were burnt. Not just burnt but more like charcoal. My daughter almost got sick. We asked for napkins for 5 of us and she brought us 2 10 mins later. It was awful and I will NEVER go there again. Also how do you screw up a BLT? It was the worst one I have ever tasted. I'm really sorry I came in there.

Awful! Ordered a chesseburger with bacon and jalapenos, just got a plain cheeseburger. Sent it back, got the same thing. Menu isnt what you really get. Horrible. Service wasn't really great either. There are other great places around that area. I would recommend choosing another place and not waste your money here

Stopped in on 2/28/2018 about 2 PM hoping to see some old friends. Asked for a Blackberry brandy and coffee and was told there was no coffee. I asked if she could go to the restaurant and get some, her response was if I make a pot and I only drank one cup the rest would have to be tossed. I got off the stool and as I was walking out she said I'll make some coffee. That should have been what happened in the first place. Made me sad. When I go home I like to enjoy it. Àa

Oh my gosh horrible!!! I ordered a pizza, wings and jalapeno poppers to go. It was seriously the worst food I've ever had. The pizza had 2 layers of cheese that couldn't stay on the pizza, crust was super soggy! The wings were half chicken finger with the bone in... ew ! The poppers were ok, not hot. Yuck yuck yuck. This is why I typically stick to chain restaurants. I tried calling to complain but no one answered... I'm going to try to call tomorrow because this is just really upsetting. I try not to be rude or leave bad reviews unless I was seriously disappointed.

The food was good! A sandwich and potato chips for 15.00. Had the grilled pastrami on rye. A little dry, but some extra thousand island dressing fixed that. And a turkey blt. A Montana lager and a yummy mocha latte. Dessert was two crisp oatmeal cookies. The café looks brand new. Very inviting inside, out door patio was lovely and uncover. With a heater, too. Kylie was our server, she seemed new to the service industry, but she did a great job. Thanks for a nice lunch! Many other yummy desserts too!

A great little cafe worth stopping at for a light breakfast. The English muffin sandwiches are amazing. We expected a full breakfast menu based on the pictures, but the full breakfast/ brunch is only on Sundays. But the food we had was plenty and delicious. The decor is modern and thoughtful right down to he fresh flowers on the tables. This place is comfy and beautiful and worth slowing down for.

Everything was top notch! From the wine to the meat and cheese platter, the meatballs and pretzel bites. Worth the stop 💯. Thank you for taking such great care of me and my family!

We stopped in here for a coffee after riding the Beartooth pass. Excellent service and coffee. We sat in the patio and just ordered americanos. To my surprise you get real coffee cups and a tumbler with water and glass cups for the water. Plan to end every day here when we finish riding for the day!

We were greeted warmly the second we walked in, atmosphere was warm and social and the drinks/food were top notch!! We are never disappointed when we come here!

Steve and Kim have put themselves into the wine bar…and it shows!! From the atmosphere, lighting, decor and cozy blankets for the chilly mountain air, they nailed it all! Then, you get to experience their knowledge of wine and the food being served, there’s nothing like it around here. Top notch and high class with plenty of small town charm.

The brunch was delicious! We all got something different and everything was very fresh and tasty. Great mimosas and great views! A definite must visit in Red Lodge.

The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the sauces - oh, the sauces - were delicious. And the star of the show for me was the beverage. I got the Mrs. Soda Hole and it was incredible. I wish I could go back to try them all. I’d definitely recommend a stop if you’re in Red Lodge or passing through!

My wife and I went through Red Lodge on our 25th Anniversary vacation trip. We often like to check out local restaurants for a memorable experience. We stopped and the Soda Hole and had such an enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Cheese Curd burger was excellent as well as the Huckleberry shake. But their sweet potato fries were THE BEST fries we have every had! Not super cheap, but worth every dollar we paid. Highly Recommend!

The food was delicious! Some of the best smash burgers we’ve ever had! The service was good and the food came out in a timely manner, and the outdoor eating area was clean. Would 100% recommend this place for a great burger!

Knocked it out of the park. Western bacon cheese smash burger was incredible. Service is friendly, honest and the food is so delicious. Must stop any time in town. Wish I could get my hands on the donuts I keep hearing about.

Sorry. I had to downgrade this place because they got my order wrong. We ordered 2 Garlic Burgers, but I got the OG burger instead. Instead of driving all the way back, I just ate the burger. If the cashier had just simply read back the order before submitting it, this could have possibly been avoided. It’s a shame, too, because the food was good.

Delicious food, has outdoor only seating but is pet friendly. The kids meals are a good size for the kids. The kids also liked the shakes.

Hung out while my husband skied. Crappy weather so I stayed inside at the bar. Cool bar staff and friendly and attentive cooks, decent selection of N.A. beer for us non drinkers. The quesadillas hit the spot. Highly recommend this place.

The food was okay but I’m here to talk about the awful service we experienced. We sat there for a long time while our nasty/rude waitress ate. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if she was washing her hands, but she wasn’t at all. At one point she was eating at a table with other guests and left her food at their table!! When we had questions or concerns she was visibly irritated and short with us. If you get the Caucasian lady with dreads good luck.

What on earth happened to the “Stube”? It used to be good. We took visiting family up for skiing and had a meal there. The place was embarrassingly filthy. Something brown spray/splashed all over the walls. The food was horrible—meat on the nachos was old and over cooked like they were trying to make beef jerky out of it. The fries were limp and under cooked. Some of our fries were still frozen. The sodas were all syrup & no carbonation. The service was “okay”. We understand that as the end of season gets near, the excitement wanes, but geesh, this was just all around bad.

Bloody Mary's weren't up to par for a ski resort, unmixed, no fixings or chaser. No gluten-free food so I couldn't try food.
