We had the pleasure of going to the Atherton shop yesterday and were greeted by the most lovely lady. We bought some lovely chocolate coffee & hazelnut coffee and plunger cups for travelling and had the bonus of being provided with so much local history and information from the lady running the shop. Two thumbs up to fantastic service and delicious coffee 👍👍 thank you 😁

We stopped here on our little road trip of the tablelands and so glad we did. The lady behind the counter was so friendly which made shopping here even better. We haven't had customer service this good in a long time so thank you.

Online Order... .I couldn't speak highly enough about Coffee works. I purchased the Aussie Blends Sampler Gift Box as a Christmas Present Super quick delivery really well packed, Over and above service when I needed to speak to someone about my order... For anyone that hasn't tried their coffee it's world class and it will not disappoint Thank You Coffee Works .

The food we ordered so yum, we asked for the açai bowl, but they were out of açai, however was offered a smoothie bowl as an alternative. Very happy with the presentation and taste. Came out reasonable fast and the atmosphere was very nice. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because we had to wait a bit to be served, even though we were the only customers in store at the time. Overall a lovely experience nonetheless.

We had a very good cappuccino and an iced latte (lots and lots of ice and the coffee is quite strong but I think that's just a matter of taste of course). But the girls were very nice and smiling !

This place guys!!! Amazing 🤩 Good coffee- options for milks, options for kids, gf and yummy 🤤 snacks. The space is Devine. Shabby chic meets cafe French decor. We felt cosy. The music wasn’t classic so it’s a friendly vibe. The staff were almost too accommodating! Would be easy to stay hours! The kids have a small fenced area with activities from 6months+ to 10. They’ve a clean toilet/ nappy change and the whole place is wheel chair friendly too. Good prices were a little more than expected. But I do think they’re trying to make a very unique cafe experience and I applaud your efforts, because of all of the 👆 above… we will be back ☀️😀 Thanks and I’ll fix your location- Google takes you far past- where as it’s next to super cheap auto mechanic. This is an oasis of creativity in a desert of boring food. P&P has an amazing creative, spirited owner/chef and she makes the coolest drinks and the most decadent deserts you could dream of. It is like a coffee house in a big city and has an amazing ambiance. It feels cozy in the space that ironically is next door to an auto parts store, though you'd never know it. You have to try it!

This cafe was incredible!!! The staff was so kind and accommodating. The vegan options were extensive. They can even do vegan shakes with wafer cones, vegan ice cream, sprinkles and fairy floss! The decor is stunningly beautiful too. I noticed it is set up really well for children and parents. There is a large children play corner full of toys and change tables in the toilets.

The most amazing little cafe. The space is so cool and eclectic. Food is fantastic, and the staff are lovely. I was blown away by their platters and catering.

Wow and wow. Ambience is to die for, from the minute we parked outside we felt at home. Truly an experience and that is before we saw the food and drinks, so much character ! The staff were attentive, menu easy to read, toilets are clean yay 😀. Just go and enjoy the relaxed vibe

Nice place. Waited almost 2 hours for our mains after getting entrees. Imagine trying to keep the kids still for almost 2 hours, resulted in getting takeaway. $30 discount off $220. So basically just didn’t pay for entrees. Food tasted good but sizzling prawns ended up having a scourer left over in it. I’m sure it’s a great place but unfortunately had a bad experience.

Food was nice, however after ordering a drink the girl who was in the bar started taking food out. I got my food before my drink which was odd considering it was a simple rum and coke. Needs more than one staff member pulling the weight.

NOTE: this review pertains to the takeaway, not the restaurant, which appear to be separate but operating under the same name, in the same building! I bought Honey king prawns, lemon chicken and combination fried rice for $58. I could have prepared the whole meal, in my own microwave for $10 max. The lemon chicken was reheated, crumbed chicken fingers you get from the frozen section of the supermarket, with a drizzle of lemon sauce that did nothing but make the crumb soggy. Tasteless, tough and unappealing. Honey king prawns were, again, crumbed supermarket frozen style, with almost no honey sauce. The combo fried rice was little more than reheated steamed rice with a few veges…no meat, egg or flavour - definitely not fried. Really poor! Don’t bother.

Don’t believe the good reviews the food is barely edible. No love whatsoever ever put into it, go to Kung Food in town it’s a lot better.

We didn't end up eating here as the dine in wasn't opened for lunch but this isn't said on the website so you need to fix it. We were very disappointed as we have eaten here before many years ago and enjoyed it so much.

One of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever been to. Came here in 2019 while on holidays and again last night. We brought friends this time and they also loved it. Service was excellent and friendly.

Delicious food! The garlic and plain naans were nice, my favourite dish was the eggplant masala, beautiful balance of flavours. Plenty of indoor seating. Toilet facilities were a bit sketchy but overall a good experience.

The food was delicious. I highly recommend the mango flavour with the beef and coconut rice we ordered was sweet and fragrant 🍚🥥. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. Great for family gatherings or couples. Also, the food wasn’t too spicy for my kids and us adults got to choose the spice levels. After our lunch, we took the milk cakes (dessert) home with us. The kids loved them! Delicious meals for only $20 or less 😃 The staff were kind and friendly too.

Not only is the food 'nothing to rave about', & their portion sizes are tiny, but the dishes are quite pricey too! The local competition on the other hand, is the exact opposite when it comes to taste, quantity & value for money (as a result- the local competition now get all of my business). I don't like giving 'what some might consider', to be a 'harsh review'... but, sometimes it is warranted (I know I appreciate reading unbiased, thorough reviews- so this is what I'll provide for readers too).

Paid $40 for two curries and chapati. They left a bad taste in my mouth. Best described as greasy and stodgy.

Now, this is Indian at its finest. What a punch the curries carry. Spices and chilli delicately balanced according to your taste. These curries are from the Kashmir district and are authentic, I only know as I spent a fair amount of time there. Get in and grab one, your tastebuds will thank you for it!

We drove through town on Saturday evening. Most shops were closed, but this place was open and the food was Great! Awesome price, great serving sizes, highly recommend :)

Real hearty curry at a nice price. Don't be afraid to order it hot if you like, or mild if you don't. Either way you get great flavor

Great curries, nice and mild for my young kids, particularly recommend the house special chicken curry. As a note, the chapati are smaller than expected.

We ate here and can say we enjoyed the food. Bold, fresh Thai flavours. The entree crystal prawns were delicious. We ate Tamarind prawns and Larb Duck for main with Chilli Basil Fried Rice. There were a lot of people picking up take away. The decor was a little odd with a spoon collection adorning the walls. I liked it as my nan had one of those but it certainly wasn’t a normal thing to see in a Thai restaurant.

Flavours of Thailand The food at this busy little restaurant in Atherton's main street is amazing. The flavours were authentic with lots of chilli, galangal, finger ginger and green peppercorns. The food is cooked and presented beautifully and the staff were friendly and helpful. No wonder this restaurant is so busy!

This is a wonderful Thai Restaurant. After reading the reviews my husband & I decided we would visit. We were not disappointed. We had our little table set up ready for us. The restaurant was somewhat quiet at that time, but not for long! People coming & going, some for takeaway & lots for sit down dining. The staff were so friendly & so knowledgeable. We shared the Thai Fishcakes, which was lovely & light. I chose the Papaya Salad & Crunchy Prawns - it was fresh & the prawns were crunchy & delicious. My husband chose the Singapore Noodles with Fish. I cannot recommend this Thai Restaurant highly enough!

Visited this little Thai restaurant by reading the reviews! We both had the lunch special at $14.95, Cashew Nut Pork & Thai Fried Rice Chicken, we're both lovely dishes & highly recommend.

Enjoyed some excellent chilly basil stir fry dishes. I think the chefs rushed my meal through at the end of their shift. Great flavours, just a little undercooked. Some good plant based menu options.

Very disappointed with the overall experience at this McDonald’s yesterday 05/10/2025 around 19:00hrs. The staff were unprofessional and displayed a poor attitude throughout the visit, one of the staff just delivered the hot chocolate we ordered chewing bubblegum, the other staff with black glasses just threw the food. Orders were not provided correctly, and there was a clear lack of attention to detail, when we went to recheck the staff told us we did not order 4 fries and they provided only us with 2 fries that even with half filled large fries and said we just had the other 2 fries already. The girls attitude was too bad. Doesn’t even know the basic attitude to behave a person. Customer service needs serious improvement — it's frustrating when basic expectations aren’t met. Definitely not the standard you'd expect from a global brand like McDonald’s.

Initial service was excellent. From that point, outside tables extremely dirty. Poor hygiene with flies enjoying their afternoon meal. Requested the table to be cleaned. Staff member did not return. Chips cold and returned them. The staff member was cleaning tables inside. I advised the staff member that chips are cold.

The floor was covered in liquid, the manager & staff jumping over the bucket & mop they put in the walkway, and they were storing ice cream cones in the common customer area & actually jumping over their buckets to grab them & serve them to customers. The kid serving was rude and wouldn’t communicate. It took 35 minutes to get 2 basic meals, with cold nuggets (there were barely any customers at all).When I asked the manager for new hot nuggets (6), she grabbed new ones from somewhere that were also old & cold. So I had to ask again. It was the worse management of any place I’ve ever seen before, let alone disgusting. I’m surprised I didn’t get food poisoning just walking into that place. If I hadn’t have ordered on the app before walking in, I never would’ve ordered at all. The whole place was disgusting.

The batista called me a "little yellow", then proceeded to clamber over the counter to hand me my drink. I was appalled with the quality (see immage) and service at atherton McDonald's. Coffee was burnt, not mixed, coagulation into different layers, and lacked the caramel flavour as well as sugar syrup.

Ordered $36 of food was told to pull forward waited and waited no service or food walked inside my order sitting on counter . Asked about sauce - yes there. Drive off and outside of town - all burgers and chips stone cold and no sauce . I have to drive 3hrs home so tried calling by x2 no pickup so am really angry now Finally got someone on phone who offered apology and that’s it - what about my ruined lunch ? McDonald’s needs a big overhaul in atherton !! Why not at least offer me a free voucher ? You guys ruined my lunch and it was inedible ! Get it ? I can’t afford to throw away $36 to a large corporation that employs low wage earning kids who really don’t give a fig about the food or presentation etc …I’m done with this food here it’s a disgrace …..

Worst place. I bought burger and chicken pieces in the drive-through. They cheted me with less number of chicken pieces. I couldn't go back and argue with them because it was late night. I suggest people to be very careful with this kind of people. If they want money, i can give them. Shouldn't cheat people like this in the name of food. You should provide proper food for what we pay

My partner and I love going here! It's our weekly tradition. The good is absolutely delicious and week look forward to coming in each week. The staff are lovely and always much us feel welcome. Honestly 10/10 can't recommend this place enough

If I could give no star I would. Firstly look for flies, if you want that as a part of your kebab. Disgusting. Unhygienic. Atrocious customer service and overly priced for what you get. Go else where you won't regret it. Been to better kebab shops by far then this one. Not worth spending your money here. And they feed you like your in an Egyptian famine. Still go home hungry.

Haven’t had a decent kebab in years until we come across this place. Lots of meat, chips were the crunchiest chips I have ever had and many drinks options.

Average service. A numbers of flies dead and alive in the salad fridge. Would have advised the owner but she didn't present as the friendliest of people to approach. Kebab was as average as the service. The person who ate with me ordered calamari and chips. Asked for NO chicken and chip salt .....but the meal arrived with chicken and chip salt. Calamari rings were over cooked. Again the presentation of the intimidating staff deterred me from providing any feedback. It will be my first and last visit.

I've been coming here since its inception and any time im back in Atherton continue to do so. Always quality kebabs and have never been let down.

Tables were in need of a clean and the person behind the counter was a bit pushy and short. The Kebab tasted great.

Slightly high on the prices but the food is really good. The portions are big and you can easily get two meals from one serving.

We had sushi for lunch which was really nice. We came back for dinner and had asian food dishes which was also very nice. We met Jet the owner who was more than welcoming and a great person. Highly recommend everyone stop into Kung Food for great asian food.

This restaurant poisoned me with rotten prawns. I nearly died, and I can never eat prawns again. Disgusting how a restaurant can get away with that with so-called “Chefs”!

Flavour less food the meat isn't the same as other Chinese food poor effort they served me watered down sauce everything is cut too big it tasted like stir fried veggies have fun spending 25 on a bland unseasoned meat

I really enjoy your going to the International Club. The food is really good and the atmosphere is pleasant. The only reason that I'm giving it a 4 star rating is that the portions are actually quite small for the price that you pay for the food. Update - Dec 24: The two for one Monday night buffet special is fine. Nothing fancy but a good, basic range for $29.

Very friendly and attentive staff, a well presented club and with decent food. Just overcooked the porter house steak. But rump was perfect and delicious for the wife!!

If I could give a lower score then one star I would, we had lunch there today and was very disappointed in the meal, I ordered crumbed steak chips and salad believing the meal should be OK but it was disgusting, the steak had been overcooked in the deep fryer and was dark brown in colour, the crumbs peeled off as they had been burnt to a crisp, the chips were cold and rubbery and not freshly cooked, the salad was very small made up mainly of green leaves. I will never return here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

The new restaurant is average - high priced for basic meals. The woman apparently running the restaurant is rude, the poor wait and counter staff are doing their best. $38 per adult for a Sunday night buffet - roast pork, some salads, some bread, veggies, a few other dishes but nothing amazing.

Terribly disappointed with the new caterers. The seniors meals have shrunk, the sausage and mash especially. Originally was a quite long tasty sausage, but now much shorter and bland and the mash and veg are smaller too. So I tried a chicken snitty with garlic aioli this week and it had a peculiar taste. The main menu prices are like restaurant prices and not what you'd expect in a club.

Came here today to look at the plant fair, walked away with a bunch of plants all at reasonable prices. Some of the stall holders were friendly and warm and would answer lots of questions and show us the different plants they had on offer, these are the ones we bought from.

As a visitor to this Club, very disappointed with my lunch today. Such a terrible mix up with orders, size of fish in seniors meal differed significantly between dinners. A word of warning, had previously ordered the seafood plate, had something raw on the plate could not work out what it was. It was a bug. Was assured by waitress it needed to be undercooked. Married to a chef for 25 years. So not true.

Great breakfast menu. Got the breakfast burger and loved every bite of it. Thank you for making it easier for me to handle as I have limited abilities with my hands. It was delicious. Coffee was excellent too. I say that a good coffee requires no sugar and this was exactly what I got. Atmosphere was great. Could see the workers enjoy their job and enjoy serving customers. Been before and will come again.

Was going to go for a good ‘ol BLT for a late lunch & spotted the chicken schnitzel sanga instead. Was so good! The schnitzel was nice & crunchy and whatever the crumb seasoning on it is, went especially well with the herb mayo & pickles. Hubby had the KC burger which got demolished in 5mins. Had a cold brew which was nice and refreshing & stole a few sips of hubbys dirty chai that was very yummy & hit the spot. Everything was delish & we didn’t leave hungry or thirsty, Thanks Ladies!

AWFUL AWFUL FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Who DOESN’T HAVE TOILETS in a CAFE?? Not only that but also they recommended us to go to this “near” public toilets, after walking 5 BLOCKS we got there and they were CLOSED!!! Took my family to all you can eat pancake day today, what a fun morning out! Lots of toppings to choose from, well organized with making sure your well topped up with not waiting for your next batch of pancakes, the time slots made it so the staff weren't rushing and it wasn't overly busy, was lots of fun and we were well full with pancake!

The wait time was a long time. I understand you were busy but it was excessively long. The food was expensive and really not worth the amount we had to pay. The thing that upset us was the guy walking through the kitchen with the big rubber floor mats held up high above his head, past where the poor run off her feet cook was trying to work and our food and others was being prepared. It was a real turn off. To us that is the last thing you do after the cook has finished and the customers are gone. Put us off our food. We won't be back.

Great fish and chips located in Atherton. Plenty of free street parking outside the restaurant. The staff is friendly and nice. Ordered a barramundi fish and chips. The portion was big and the price wasn't too expensive. About the standard. Didn't wait too long for the food to arrive. The fish was good but the chips were just a bit disappointing. Not quite my taste. Maybe I'm not a fan of fat chips. Overall it is just okay, but it is just my own personal preference for the chips. But great service tho.

Customer service wasn't good, as I was looking at the menu while doing this it got busy and a line formed behind me so I had to order in a rush and the waitress got impatient and upset demeanor about it due to me making sure it's what I wanted and was asking questions about the specials, This isn't the first time it happened about the customer service not being to good as well with immediate family members ordering saying that they felt the same. Besides that the food is always great. Just be making phone orders instead of coming in to order and paying seems like a easier way to avoid unpleasant customer service.

We had the fish and chips mackerel meal..it was delicious girls..thank you. If I could suggest changing the standard chips to beer battered chips the meal would of been perfect. 👌

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY!! We went in for breakfast. The lady serving us had a very grumpy attitude. I mentioned that my daughter and I had allergies. She is gluten free and I am gluten, eggs and dairy free. I asked if the gluten free bread was egg free. She said they get it from a local supermarket (I know that the majority of supermarket Gluten free bread in Australia has eggs). I asked her to check the packet. She came back and said there were no eggs. I said are you sure, because I will get very sick! She glared at me and said that she had looked and there were definitely no eggs. The dish came out and immediately I knew it was a common gf brand that has eggs. The owner came into the restaurant and I asked if would be ok to see the bread packet. Guess what, it had eggs. I took the sandwich to the counter and explained that this was not acceptable and asked for a refund. She was not the original server. There is a little porthole to view the kitchen. She went in, there was a bit of a discussion and she came back and offered me my money back. Everyone hid in the kitchen. After about 20 minutes, while everyone else ate their breakfast. The original server came out and offered me a bitchy apology. Without seeming overly bothered that she had made a mistake that could really hurt someone. The owner of L&B stayed out the back and did not bother to come back out. Funnily enough they have a very prominent sign on the right hand side as you enter addressing their attention to allergies.

Great Fish and Chips and amazing service! We ordered the seafood for one to share. The woman serving us made a note of the fact we were sharing on the order slip and when the food arrived we noticed they had added an extra piece of fish? Thank you so much!

the chips, cheese and gravy are fantastic coming out fresh and the cheese just starting to melt. The burgers have are huge and this size of the plate. If your after a filling meal then I suggest ordering a hamburger with the lot. The only down side is there could be a little less lettuce but over all great. Service was on point with friendly staff and the fast service with a short wait for a meal.

We ordered 2 large and got 2 medium.I went back and questioned why they are medium he says they are large, doesnt match the pizza baking trays size. Slices all cut to different sizes small and large,. Paid with cash receipt shows credit card. Family had to select different sized pizza. But the Garlic prawns was yummy. This is a medium pizza not large so buyers beware , you pay up front for a large Pizza, docket shows large before you see what you get in the box. It cant be returned . Cost 24 dollars.

Ordered some pizzas recently. None of them were advertised as having red onion, the web portal doesn’t even list it as an option to be added or removed. They all arrived with some amount of red onion on them. So we went back to the shop to specifically request one that didn’t have red onion and told the staff that it was an allergy. The replacement pizza STILL had small amounts of red onion mixed in. My partner got to eat all my pizza while I went hungry. One of the pizzas did not mention onion anywhere on the ingredients list. There’s also nowhere on the web portal to communicate allergy info to the store. I’d recommend a text box attached to the “edit ingredients” menu so you could inform the store of any allergies/special requests.

The cheap pizzas are good value. The premium pizzas are expensive and overrated. Mass produced by school kids. It's crazy how much the picture advertising the donuts is vastly different from what you get - something like a van Gogh sculpture!

I have been a regular at Atherton Domino's. The photo shows my "loaded" pepperoni. I'd expect more topping on a value range. Not worth the money anymore. So disappointed. Tonight was the worst night. Ordered 2 thin crust supreme pizza with 4 extras × 2 volcanos.. $90..... got delivered ..1 volcano... Huh?? We waited half HR . And so my partner went to the shop and was angry .. he was told he could get banned .. I'm hungry ,paid $90 give me a break.. when we did get it delivered,it was not what we ordered, no thin crust ❌ 6 anchovies over 2 pizzas , not hardly any olives or pineapple or pepperoni. All extra paid for mind you.. bloody not impressed. They have always been so so good ,the best .. what's going on guys

She took the time to make sure everything was just right with my order and had such a positive attitude the whole time. It’s not often you come across someone who makes a simple lunch feel like great service, but Ebony really went above and beyond. The store was clean, the food was fresh, and her customer service made all the difference. I’ll definitely be coming back – Ebony is an absolute star! ---

Purchased subways online for staff lunches from Atherton Subway for the last 2 weekends and the size of the subs have really dropped. Previously we struggled to eat a 6 inch sub and now the size of them we could easily eat a foot long each. Subs were ready to collect and great staff service just the subs lacking filling.

I got 2 platters from subway Atherton yesterday, they were fresh, fed my tribe, and as expected they were scrumptious!

Subs were tasty, service - always great. Wrapping skills!!! 10/10.

Owner (the bigger one) that makes the rolls is not friendly, doesn't smile and full of attitude. Slaps what little salad he does right in the centre, then drowns it in sauce. Subs are a skinny saucy mess. It's a shame because before they took over it was really good.

Bad service - ordered toasted sandwich at 5:45 on Sat 9th, Aug 2025 and the young women refused it, stating "the toaster is off." The young fella serving me good and clearly uncomfortable with being overridden. The women was clearing completing the daily cash takings - with all cash on display on the fron counter - not a very safe practise. This post is geared for the owner, who deserves to know the performance of their staff.

The pizza here is exceptionally tasty. The venue is fantastic, and the customer service is top-notch.

Great entrees, excellent big meals, friendly service with a smile! Happy to say I celebrated my birthday there and have no regrets. The atmosphere was cosy and professional, with delicious food to match. Big shout out to Don for making the birthday special!

The food was great, a big serving. The extremely loud, horrible, whiny music in the restaurant and throughout the club explains why they are so empty. Patrons want to have a relaxing time, they don’t want to be blasted with someone else’s choice of music! We would have stayed for a drink and a look around, but couldn’t leave quick enough, never to return. Many empty businesses make the same mistake.

Amazing food and amazing service. All meals were perfect - tasty and more than adequate serving size. Even the chef was incredibly friendly. We came up from Cairns for lunch and will definitely be making the trip again.

Great local place that I got to discover just yesterday. Ordered myself a chicken Parmigiana, complete with chips and salad. For the first time in a while I received a perfectly portioned meal. It was amazing for the price, the meal came out in no time whatsoever and I was extremely happy with the service that Donato was able to provide. Cant wait to try their Pizzas next
