Super touristy place, it reminded me of a fancy shopping mall, very strong air conditioning. Nice view though from just outside. The most interesting place was a brewery, which unfortunately did not open until evening. The nearby market was much more authentic.

Great location in the revitalized Praça right opposite the Hotel Princesa Louça. The food was wonderful although not exceptional and for the prices the portions could have been larger. We had the Marajoara and the Farofa with fried fish and plantains. The beer was not freezing cold and they didn't have appropriate tall glasses for it. The service was reasonable although I got the impression they want the customers to leave. Great live band.

Went to grab some light dinner this past evening. This little restaurant is located at the famous Complexo Feliz Luzitania. This restaurant is in the Historically Protected Casa Das Onze Janelas. Had the Una De Caranguejo, very delicious with plenty of crab meat. The Croquet De costela with beef ribs were very well flavored and tender, served with a Basil Sauce that was delicious. Also had the linguiça with queijo marajó, famous buffalo cheese from the region, was also delicious. Had two cocktails: Moscow Mule with Taperebá and a Gin and Tonic with cupuaçu jam.
