Fun experience for me. It was my first time playing in casino. The ambiance is great. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Lovely building, amenities, and ambiance. Would recommend to make it a stop while in Sanremo. Very close to shops and street cafes.

My friend got told he looked like he is 15 of age even though he is 23, then a man followed us and told us an hour after entering to tell my friend that his outfit wasn’t appropriate even though the rest of the staff seemed to be ok with it. All together a poor experience.

A classic old school Mediterranean casino. Not as big and glamorous as Monte Carlo, naturally, but very nice and quaint. Located in the middle of a wonderful town and nearby the beach.

Great looking building. Very well lit during the night. Inviting with a red carpet and well maintained surroundings. Situated in the heart of Sanremo, it is for some the reason they go to Sanremo since it's one of the most popular casinos in the area.

Market
Nestled in the heart of Sanremo, the Mercato Annonario is a vibrant hub that showcases the best of local Italian produce and culinary delights. Open from Monday to Saturday, this bustling market invites visitors to explore its diverse offerings, including an impressive selection of fresh meats like beef, pork, chicken, and lamb sourced from trusted local suppliers. Beyond meats, you'll find an array of savory cured products perfect for enhancing your meals or creating delightful charcuterie boards.
This is your REAL shopping hall for Italian specialties, butchers, cheeses, fruits, oils, herbs, etc. in abundance! Outside is your local market days (mon - sun) with clothes, (copy) bags and everything else you did not know you needed! Even small café stalls are serving pizza-slices, coffee-shots and snacks to go or eat-in. We bought REAL parmigiana-cheese for EUR 20/kilo, which is a steal. The place can be difficult to find, there is NO PARKING around, unless you want to risk scratches on your scooter, but the shear authentic ambience of the place is a real treat!
Morten K — Google review
Great market. Fish, meet, vegetables, bread locally produced food and much more.

Great market with very fresh fruits & vegetables plus more! I assume the empty stalls were Due to being mid March Great prices & selection. Worth the visit even if you are just looking. Outside they have a flea market on Tuesday & Saturday. Many vendors but not as nice as Ventimiglia

Forte di Santa Tecla has a rich history, serving as a symbol of Genoese strength, a defense against sea invasions, a barracks, and even a city prison. This 18th-century fortress is now the main museum in the area and stands as one of the few remaining examples of Ligurian military architecture from that time. Located near Pian di Nave, it offers scenic views by the sea and hosts multimedia exhibitions and cultural events.
Suggested place to go visit with family. Lots of expositions keep alternating throughout the year. The renovation process was colossal - for the size of the building - and finally brings to the light this hidden gem. It is not finished yet, so bear that in mind when coming visiting. Incredible piece of history of Sanremo.

This area is fun and busy. Had a fun stay in Sanremo, then we stumbled over towards this fort after dinner, as the sun was going down. This is very much a part of the local history and worth visiting, however, this is not so much a high priority destination. It's seems a little rundown for also having a museum, but overall, a nice visit to appreciate the history and views of the sea from the close beach proximity.

Fantastic food and awesome service. The staff were adorable. Isham was accommodating even though his kitchen was closing, he welcomed us in when we said we were here from Australia and it was our only chance to eat here in San Remo. We had a fabulous meal and wine for a great price. Highly recommend and will definitely be back if I make it to Italy again!!!

The Russian Orthodox Church in San Remo, built in 1912, is a significant symbol of the city. It was constructed to accommodate the large Russian community that frequented San Remo during the early 20th century. The church features distinctive round domes typical of Russian architecture and is located at the beginning of Empress's Promenade, named after Tsarina Maria Alexandrovna.
Amazing architecture. A little taste of Russia and russian orthodox religion. It is a unique sight and a hidden treasure within the strongly catholic Italy. Worth to visit!
Petra S — Google review
Very nice, coloured Russian orthodox church in San Remo. But it's relativel small and beeds a bit of renovation (of paintings).
Bogdan T — Google review
The church is small but beautiful. However, I was disappointed by the entrance policy. Outside, there's a sign about paying a voluntary donation to enter, but when you actually go you're forced to pay. I think it's misleading and takes away from the welcoming spirit one would expect from a place of worship.
Catalina M — Google review
Very bright church. It is worth to visit. You can put a candle in memory of your beloved ones or just for a good reason ✨️. The Church was done with bright and light atmosphere. It's small, but cozy

Beautiful small Slavic Orthodox church with quite a lot of important icons. Very quiet, a nice small shop and it is very tidy. Please keep this place clean - spiritually and physically!
Alex B — Google review
It was amazing visit I really like it and the decorations as well. It's one of the important landmarks in Sanremo. There are lots of international tourists and the location of this church is close to many cafes and restaurants where you could walk and enjoy.

Discovering this church during our day trip from Nice to Sanremo was a delightful surprise. We were accompanied by our mother, who grew up in Russia and wasn't aware of the historical significance of this place. Unfortunately, we couldn't explore inside due to a mass. Fortunately, right across the street, we found an excellent Russian food shop. The lady inside was incredibly knowledgeable and shared valuable insights about the church's history.

If you're looking for an Argentinian restaurant in Sanremo, look no further than Ristorante Buena Vista. The staff is friendly and English is spoken, which is not always the case with friendliness in Sanremo. The food is excellent, and children are very friendly too.
Terrific place! We were received with smiles and this amazing kind of potato/rice entrance with mustard dressing from the Chef! 🥰 Olive Oil was a great one and flowing like a river underneath my seafood risoto 🫠 - which was one of the suggestions at the Daily Chef Proposes! Service was friendly, the menu comes in many languages. I had lunch in front of this beautiful architecture, the famous Sanremo cassino building, atmosphere is peaceful and music repertoire is perfectly selected! 💜 I highly recommend! Check the pictures and the videos, enjoy! By the way, if you are a drink lover, Negroni was delicious! 😋

Best meal by far in Sanremo. Everything was perfect that we ordered. The steak, the pasta sauce, the bruschetta… no notes! Just thank you. And beyond that they accommodated for our daughter so nicely bringing her food right away. And made my meal gluten free like it was nothing! This place brings another level of service. Just go! And enjoy!!!!

“Excellent restaurant! During our stay in Sanremo, we ate there twice. The meat is incredible, the service is outstanding, the ingredients are fresh and well-prepared, and the manager is particularly attentive. You can go there with complete confidence.

After visiting this restaurant a few years back and at that time receiving horrible service, we were in doubt, but decided another attempt since one of the family members had a successful experience not long ago. We can only say that we had a top meal this evening. Perfect Argentinian steaks and side orders. The staff was also very pleasant and attentive. We had angus tagliata and fore rib steaks, all prepared to perfection and tasted very good.

Seafood restaurant
The Glam Restaurant in Sanremo is a stunning and luxurious establishment with an amazing ocean view. It offers high-quality service and a superb dining experience, complete with outdoor seating.
Sleek and very modern you might expect a glib tourist trap especially near a casino. But nice I got a delectable amuse bouche of a delicate crunchy fish roll, this was clearly something attention worthy. The pasta with a five tomato reduction and burrata cream was delicate and balanced beyond description. It needed nothing. Paired with glass of Vermentino this is a match made in heaven. Kudos to the chef on the primo. Mediterranean tuna got a Japanese treatment which was well executed but a bit overwhelming in the saltiness of the sauce. The fish which is more delicate than the blue fin than Americans are used to needed a lighter touch on the sauce. But the presentation and the rest of lunch were all fantastic. Add to it that k walked in at 2pm, way too late for the typical lunch crowd and this is a place I’ll be coming back to!
Gary L — Google review
Had a great experience at VN Villa Noseda! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the seafood was absolutely delicious, although wish there were more vegetarian options, since they had just one pasta dish which was a downer.. I got to try a good variety, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was a little on the slower side, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. The ambiance is cozy, though the lighting is on the dimmer, bluish side — it gives a calm vibe, but might not be the best spot if you're planning to take a lot of party pictures. Still, for a relaxed dinner with great food, it's definitely worth a visit! ✨
Komal G — Google review
The staff is great, the food is very good and the atmosphere is nice but some details could be better (please remove the TVs… even if off they don’t look good at all).
Vinyl B — Google review
Pretension to be fancy and premium place. As for me, usual seaside restaurant. I would recommend to seat outside as it’s too warm inside. Dishes are fresh and tasty, but pricy. Be careful with tiramisu as it’s not a traditional one, cream is made from pistachios. Waiters are polite and friendly.
Alexandra S — Google review
We had a fantastic lunch. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was 10/10. Another highlight: the view from the terrace ☀️

More like a disco for the over 40's than a restaurant. Music is so loud you can't actually hear anyone else talk. Suppose it takes the attention away from the very average food.

Restaurant
Ristorante Pizzeria Club 64, located in the center of SanRemo near a casino, is a delightful restaurant that offers unique half-half pizza options. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fire oven, giving them a smoky undertone and enhancing their flavors. In addition to pizza, this establishment also serves fresh seafood dishes. The restaurant has friendly and attentive staff who provide efficient service.
possibly one of the most amazing pizza in town. the staff is really giving you the attention you’ll need. this restaurant pizzeria is a must try. definitely try out the ‘maiala’!! they have alcohol-free beer. inside there is no internet but i guess it’s better?? 10/10
Monica G — Google review
If you tell anyone in Sanremo that you are going to Pizzeria Club 64 for dinner, they will all comment on how this is a good choice. After many years with my Italian wife of eating at different restaurants for pizza in Sanremo, this one is absolutely the best. The pizza is a perfect work of art. If you like, there are a few other great non-pizza dishes on the menu, but I would recommend coming here for pizza. Pick one randomly, although the four seasons pizza has always been my wife's favorite. I included a picture for you. For my fellow Americans, please note that the best pizza is baked in a very hot oven that adds some char to the crust. In the USA, most pizza shops under cook pizza. Please try this pizza and the charred bits. You will go back to America asking for your pizza to be well-done with some char. Just get reservations on Friday and Saturday evening, but if you're early on weeknights, you can get a table walk-in.

After 8 years we returned to San Remo and Club 64. We were curious whether they maintained the level. We were 4 people for 2 dinners and it was great. My sons are pizza fans and for 8 years they said that the one from Club 64 was the best. Now they just confirmed it. Very good dough, great sauce and fresh toppings. Food worth recommending.

My wife and I had walked by the restaurant earlier in the day and from the other side of the street, It only looked like a small take out pizza restaurant. Later in the evening, while looking for a restaurant to dine close to our Airbnb, we walked by and noticed through the window that there was actually a dining room as well below the level of the sidewalk. While the restaurant is a little tight, we were seated immediately and ended up enjoying a couple really nice pizzas as well as a salad and grilled vegetables. We recommend them for their pizza for sure!

Really great Pizza! At the beginning we did not think that we can eat inside but sfter the counter there are many tables where you can eat. The waiters are very friendly and do not mind if you do not speak Italian. The Pizzas tasted really great and we did not wait long until they were served. And that Chili-oil they have there is incredible. Overall a really nice place to eat!
Vinzenz ( — Google review
Amazing pizza, and superb service. Have been coming here for 15 years, and quite possibly the best pizza anywhere in the world 👌
Iwan E — Google review
Got sick from the food Very nice people, the waiter was super generous with his time, efforts and suggestions and was very knowledgeable about all the dishes. We had delicious wine and the meal was fairly good. The only problem, and I noticed it right away was that my dish was super greasy - more than it should have been in my opinion, especially for an authentic meal in Italy. They should know better than that. The long and the short of it was that I ended up getting sick fairly quickly after I ate less than half the plate, and was regretting having eaten any of it. I wish I could recommend the place, but unfortunately based on this experience I really can't. My friend said his meal was average or just below, and while the staff was great and the ambiance was super low key - also very short walk from our hotel (Hotel Sole Mare), it was a very average place. I would say there are probably better places to visit in Sanremo than this. The prices were also higher than one would expect at such a chill place such as this.

Marzio Bistrot is a charming restaurant in Sanremo that offers delicious, perfectly portioned meals with quick and friendly service. The bistro is popular among locals and visitors alike, known for its handmade, unique, and tasty dishes. The menu includes vegan options like the amazing vegan truffle gnocchi. Guests appreciate the correct pricing and excellent food quality, including the homemade tiramisu.
Loved this meal so much I would highly recommend a visit here - the food, the service, the atmosphere it was all sublime. We shared for dinner (not huge eaters) the Trofiette with pesto, green beans and potatoes- the pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection. For main we had Beef tagliata which was delicious. For desert we had the Pavlovo Supreme - this desert is outrageous and one of yummiest things around!! Don't miss this restaurant if you are in San Remo it's fantastic.

It was our first time in Italy, and we chose this restaurant based on the amazing reviews — hoping for some authentic Italian food. We were not disappointed! Every dish, from the starter to the main course and dessert, was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly special. What was meant to be a quick, simple lunch turned into a wonderful experience. Even our dog was warmly welcomed! We’ll definitely come back on our next visit to Italy.

We are repeat guests – and once again we had a fantastic evening at Marzio in Sanremo. Stylish atmosphere, relaxed vibe and very attentive service. The food is fresh, high quality and full of flavour. Our highlights: • Carpaccio with burrata – tender and well seasoned • Tartare duo with oyster – excellent quality • Truffle pasta – creamy, aromatic and perfectly balanced • Steak – crispy outside, tender inside • Tiramisu – homemade, light and simply delicious The cocktails were great as well, creative and beautifully served. For this level of quality, the prices are absolutely fair. A place you don’t just stumble upon but return to on purpose. Highly recommended for food lovers. We will definitely come back again.

Marzio Bistrot located on a pedestrian only alleyway off the main pedestrian only shopping area in Sanremo. The host of the bistrot was friendly and welcoming. We sat outside across a beautiful children clothing store. The complimentary focaccia was delicious, light texture with tasty olive and sea salt flakes. My husband and I could not stop eating them. We had salad nicoise and tuna tartare to start. They were good. Our main courses were the highlights. The special of the day: spaghetti with shrimps and zucchini and white fish with clams and mussels with spinach purée. The house made spaghetti was chewy and flavorful complemented with the tasty sauce with tomato and zucchini. My husband had the fish and was fresh and simply prepared. We were so happy to find Marzio Bistrot on Google Map, a gourmet restaurant in Sanremo.

What a find! We sat inside and were very impressed with the simple yet elegant interior. The service was attentive, smiley, but most importantly, authentic. The menu was clear and provided plenty of options that you would expect in an Italian trattoria. Marzio took our order and made a suggestion for the starter which definitely improved our meal. The food was exactly what we wanted but far better than we expected. Marzio himself has an impressive CV (Ramsay & The Connaught to name a few); Needless to say we will be back. Thank you, Marzio & team

The perfect way to end a vacation with kids isn’t when no one cries - it’s when you find a restaurant where the music feels tuned to your mood. Where the oysters are as fresh as the promises of early summer and the octopus on a bed of vegetables tastes better than any toast to life. One of those rare moments when everything aligns — taste, rhythm, and time. The kids are content, I’m happy, the waiter is polite that’s when you know the vacation was a successful

This place is absolutely amazing! 👏 From the service to the food, big compliments.. We (a couple with my mother and two dogs) came here around lunch time, we had the steak and pasta, the steak was very nicely baked to our preference and pasta carbonara was truly the best I've ever eaten! Plus the extra attention and service for our dogs was very pleasant to witness. I hope to come back to this place next year ❤️ I totally recommend this place for a good steak & pasta & dog friendly. Grazie tutti👌

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Portosole, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Giardini Regina Elena. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Marina
Portosole is a large mooring complex that caters to both private and tourist vessels. The marina offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with local shops for provisions at fair prices and excellent mechanical and electrical support from established family businesses. Visitors can enjoy good restaurants, entertainment, clothing boutiques, children's activities, and nearby beaches within walking distance. Known as the home of mega yachts on this part of the Italian Riviera, Portosole boasts superb facilities and helpful staff.
Friendly and welcoming marina, good local shops for provisions, all at fair local prices, great local mechanical and electrical support from well established family businesses. Good restaurants and entertainment within a few minutes walk. Good clothes shops and boutique style shops in town. Children's entertainment and beach within a short walk from the centre of the marina. My recommendation
Leonardo B — Google review
PortoSole’s port offers good assistance for mooring, but there are a few issues to consider. The boat slips provided are often disproportionate to the size of the vessel, which can be inconvenient. The restrooms are not only far away but also not well-maintained, and the harbor master's office is similarly distant. While the port isn’t too far from the city, the lack of sidewalks and the need to cross a roundabout on foot make getting there somewhat difficult. The port area itself feels neglected, with many construction sites affecting the overall atmosphere. There are plenty of shops, but unfortunately, the overall quality isn’t the best.

Excellent location for the evening visit. Nice restaurent and chill place. Nice beach area and bar 🍸 restaurant. Beautiful at the evening out
Rasa T — Google review
I’ve been spending time around the port for the past few years, and I have to say it’s been steadily declining. There are no longer any activities taking place, prices keep rising without limit, and starting next year parking will no longer be included with the ownership of a boat berth. It’s really sad — such a pity, because it’s a beautiful place. I hope I’ll be able to change this review in a couple of years, if progress is made.

Villa Ormond, a grand 19th-century residence in Sanremo, is home to the International Institute of Humanitarian Law. The villa's spacious rooms with polychrome coffered ceilings have hosted European aristocracy. Its park features exotic and rare plants and a traditional Japanese garden. Surrounding the villa, the Villa Ormond Gardens offer stunning views of the Ligurian Sea and boast diverse botanical species from around the world.
Nice park. It’s small actually. Like 15-20 minutes of walking. A bit more if you’ll stop and admire. Nice with kids and pushchair/stroller. Not too many steps. There is a playground but from 4 years old I’d say. Nice view from the top. There is a small water spot with turtles. Very funny. Also a small water spot with swans. It’s a pity as they’re closed in a small water spot. 😞

A pretty building within the park that has a nice view of the port if you stand on your tippy toes. You cannot view inside anymore, it has been turned into office space. I wouls imagine that back in it's hey day it would have been quite spectacular. We only visited as we were in the gardens and passing through the area. I wouldn't make a special trip to visit. The flower sculpture in the forecourt was pretty and so was the fountain in the lower gardens.

The signs are clearly unclear because people don't know what section they're in. The gentleman at the upper entrance to that dirty little office was very rude to a lady who politely asked for information. We were really upset. He treated her badly, yelling at her, "You gentleman, you're already there, we don't know why. Behave yourself, or you'll quit your RUDE job!" This is especially true because parking is expensive! Giardini Regina Elena is a stunning oasis located at the top of La Pigna, offering breathtaking panoramic views of San Remo, including the city, sea, and port. Once the site of a Genoese Castle that was destroyed in an earthquake in 1887, these gardens now feature beautiful small fountains and impressive trees. It's a great spot to relax in the shade and enjoy the picturesque scenery.

Mairbek C — Google review
Tucked away above the old quarter of La Pigna, the Giardini Regina Elena offer a peaceful green escape with a touch of history and a generous dose of Ligurian charm. While not a destination garden in the grand sense, it’s a lovely spot to pause and take in the surroundings: - 🌳 Quiet and leafy: Shaded paths, benches, and mature trees make it a pleasant place to rest after climbing through the narrow streets below. - 🌄 Panoramic views: From the garden’s edge, you get sweeping vistas over San Remo’s rooftops and the sea beyond — especially striking at sunset. - 🏛️ Historic setting: The gardens sit near old oratories and staircases that echo the medieval character of the neighborhood. - 🌸 Seasonal charm: While not always bursting with blooms, spring and summer bring out the best in its greenery and atmosphere. It’s not a showstopper, but if you’re already exploring La Pigna, the Giardini Regina Elena are a quiet reward at the top — perfect for catching your breath and soaking in the view.

Urbicia Vivas Ristorante is a charming eatery located in the old town, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant features friendly service and delicious food, with options like ravioli burrata and tuna and tomato pasta. While it may be slightly more expensive than other dining spots in Sanremo, visitors find the quality and freshness of the dishes to be well worth it.
Delicious food in a beautiful setting. You sit in a quiet little square in the old town and the service was very friendly (though you may have to brush up on your Italian). One of the more expensive meals we’ve had in Sanremo but 100% worth it. I can highly recommend the tuna and tomato pasta and the courgette and shrimp ravioli.
Louis E — Google review
Very dissapointing experience at Urbicia. The staff food and staff were ok, nothing special or bad. After reading so many great experineces maybe I had my hopes to high. The main issue for me was an extremely loud and elector music in the restaurant that was empty and made no sense to be playing and secondly the level of prices per the size of the plates were compeletly unproporcionate. Very dissapointing but the staff was very helpful and food was ok, nothing special. Highly suggest putting some nice music at the restaurant and reviewing the prices.
Leonardo M — Google review
The food was great but the portions were small taking into consideration the prices..the outdoor area was very calm and the music in the background was delightful! Not too many options as for the typical italian dishes (lasagna, truffle etc.) The service was quick and staff were kind

This family-run restaurant is one of the best in Sanremo. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with very friendly, helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. As for the food, it's fish, of course, of exceptional quality, since Alfonso, the father, is a local fisherman. Shopping mall
The Mall Sanremo is a chic and modern open-air shopping destination with a stunning view of the water. It offers top Italian brands at discounted prices, including Gucci, Jimmy Choo, D&G, Burberry, and Karl Lagerfeld. The atmosphere is excellent with clean facilities and a play area for kids. However, the dining options are limited and some stores are still under construction as of November 2019.
The employees in every shop we visited were professional and experienced. Very positive experience! Thank you San Remo!

We visited to shop for luxury brands—although we didn’t find exactly what we were looking for, we still really enjoyed our time here. The mall had fun little play booths scattered around, which added a playful touch to the experience. We also had a fantastic meal at a restaurant with delicious pasta. A special shout-out to the lounge staff: one kind lady went above and beyond by helping us call a large cab. She even guided and waited with us under the hot weather until it arrived. So thoughtful and much appreciated!
Tamader R — Google review
This so-called luxury mall feels more like an empty shell than a true high-end destination. Despite the glossy décor, it lacks atmosphere and soul. Many of the stores carry only leftover or outdated items, and some pieces even appear used or slightly damaged. Instead of a refined shopping experience, the place comes across as a clearance warehouse dressed up as luxury. Disappointing for anyone expecting exclusivity or quality.

I was disappointed—many items were from old collections. The outlet is small, prices aren’t very cheap, and overall I didn’t enjoy it. Not worth driving from Monako. Can be better for my opinion. Staff in each store vas very polite and helpful. Mall is very clean as well bathrooms.

Attention buyers: If you plan to return a product purchased here, you will NOT receive a refund to your bank card, even if you return it within 14 days. Instead, they only offer an exchange or store credit (bond), which they say is valid indefinitely. It’s important to know this before shopping, as many customers expect a standard refund policy. Please check carefully with each store before making a purchase.

Spiaggia Tre Ponti is a popular beach in Sanremo with a small but pleasant free area and sandy shores, complemented by a rocky strip in the water. Gente di Mare offers a unique dining experience where there's no menu to choose from. For approximately 44 Euros per person, guests can enjoy a seven-course seafood meal along with unlimited Italian wine. The chef decides the dishes, creating an element of surprise for diners. With only one seating at 7pm, reservations are recommended for this nearly three-hour culinary journey by the ocean. Previous visitors highly recommend it for its delicious and fresh seafood offerings and emphasize that it's worth every penny.
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Zero menu or ordering. $44 Euros per person. Just sit down and wait for the magic to arrive. Seven courses, all seafood, and all the sparkling Italian wine you can drink. The chef makes whatever he wants and you just wait for it to happen. Reservations recommended and only one 7pm seating (the experience took just under 3 hours). Restaurant is located on the sand so you dine staring at the ocean. Absolutely amazing. Lovely waitstaff who helped when we didn’t speak Italian. I couldn’t recommend this any more.

I have been here last time 9 years ago and after such long time the food is still on the same high level :) highly recommended for everyone who love’s seafood and want to try a few different dishes on one time (5 appetizers, 2 main dishes and the dessert plus unlimited wine and water all included in one very attractive price).

The food is more than great! It is fully sea food! The meniu contains 7 types of dishes + 1 dessert, wine and coffee. The price is 40 euro/ person. But it is worth any penny. Tip: go with your empty stomach

EUR 44 per person buys you a great night, with a 7 course diner and all the wine and water you can drink. The food is excellent. A must visit once kind of place.
Hans H — Google review
Unique place. No menu, they just serve a multi-course seafood meal for €40 including wine, water, dessert, coffee, etc. Absolutely worth the visit. Make sure to book several days in advance. Only minor points: the courses are served quickly after another. Tell them to slow down. Over the years, the courses have been diminuished somewhat to improve margin. Except for some tomatoes and little radicchio there is only seafood, no vegetables. But what they serve is excellent and the seating outside next to the beach makes more than up for these items.

Super restaurant. The food was really good, wine and water are included (all what you need) The fish and the seefood was really tasty and very good quality. Not need to do a reservation, but better if you want to eat at the terrace. There is no a la carta, the menu is fix: 7 dishes + Dessert + Cafe + Licor + wine & water = 40€ each person Really to recommend
Biby J — Google review
Let's start with the positives: Sunday lunch fixed menu. I arrived at 1245 and over the next hour and a half had five amazing antipasti, polipo, capesante, cozze, branzino al limone and calamari. All wonderfully delicious tastes. The beach location is breathtaking. Nearly two hours later, 1435, I gently asked the owner when the first and main would arrive or if anything at all was available without a wait and I was told my bill would be prepared for me. It would have been €40 each including first course, main, dessert, coffee etc and we were charged €27,50 each for starters, with the location, the house white and water. The owner was rude and over stressed. He told us twice there was nothing ready and I ended up apologising that we had to leave after two hours there, despite the overpriced bill. All it would have taken was a little humility and an honest bill. So disappointed by a potentially amazing experience.

Ristorante Bruno is a restaurant that may have limited outdoor space, but their food, wine, and service are truly excellent. The prices are reasonable and more than compensate for the high-quality ingredients used in their preparations. Kudos to the hardworking staff at this establishment! It is a fantastic place with delectable pizzas and homemade pasta. Even their desserts are made in-house. The service provided by the staff is exceptional - friendly and attentive.
We found ourselves in this restaurant on Sunday completely unexpectedly. Were pleasantly surprised by the service and kind atmosphere. Delicious lunch, great desserts and wonderful prosecco. Service is fast and quality. Very satisfied! Recommended

We got a recommendation for this restaurant from the beach bar next to it and it was really good recommendation. It was almost fully reserved, so we got a table inside the restaurant. The glass of prosseco was offered, amuse-bouche. We had tuna for entre - was amzing! The homemade pasta with sea food, probably the best pasta in this trip to Italy! Gnocchi - I’m not a fan of them in general, but it was good. And the dessert - cheese cake (homemade, not american style), they had it with nutella and with strawberries, they offered to have half/half and try both in this way. Really worth trying!

This is by far the best fish/meat restaurant of the riviera! I'm Italian but live in Ireland, so anytime we are going back to Italy... I'd drive 200 km just for this restaurant!! It's amazing, the staff is incredibly patient and accommodating, food is glorious, well cured and laid out. The desserts are to die for! A great selection of wines too, at very competitive prices! Overall the best!

Excellent food, very detailed and smiley service inside an extraordinarily tidy place. I've been coming here over the last 3 summers with Italian family and this restaurant never disappoints. We just visited after covid19 reopening and not only the place holds good hygiene protocols but the food and the service remain impeccable. A must of the Italian riviera.

Pizza restaurant
Senese Pizza Napoletana in Evoluzione is a Napolitan pizzeria that takes pride in its meticulous selection of high-quality ingredients, starting with ancient grain flours and fresh produce from their own gardens. Their pizzas are known for their pronounced crust and unique toppings like the Ricordi Ischitani, featuring smoked fiordilatte, porchetta rabbit, Montoro onion cream, black olive powder, nduja cream, and parsley coulis.
We've visited Giovanni Senese's pizzeria now several times and can't wait to come back to enjoy another one of his fantastic creations. The pizza dough is absolutely as per the original Neapolitan traditions, but what makes the pizzas even greater are Giovanni's creative combination of toppings. Just fantastic 👏🏻 Grazie mille Giovanni e staff, a presto!

Absolutely horrible! Do not eat there. The way the customers are treated it's absolutely awful. Half of the menu not available. One of us was served food, but the other two had to wait another 10mins for their pizzas whilst watching me to eat. Not even an apology from the staff. Pasta undercooked and pizza strange and sweet taste. Had been waiting ages for the plates to be cleared. I had to call the waiter to ask for desert menu as we were ignored completely after the food was taken away. Waiting staff being poker faced and rude. I've been told that there is fresh fruit panacota, instead a dirty and cheap looking something like it was served.. We couldn't park anywhere else and found this place by accident.

I visited this Napolitan pizzeria and had a very good experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and attentive. The waiters even spoke French, which was a nice touch. The pizzas were great, fresh with a nice crust and thin dough, high-quality ingredients. The presentation of the plates was also noteworthy - modern and finely presented. The desserts - tiramisú, panettone, and rocher - were also very good. Overall, the Napolitan pizzeria was a solid choice for a meal. I recommend it for the good food and service. It seems to be a popular spot for locals. I may return to try more of their menu in the future.

Food 10/10 I’m not afraid to say that this might be one of my favorite pizza spots I’ve gone to in recent years and maybe even my life. The dough was SO soft and chewy, and there were plenty of toppings and combinations to choose from. I ordered the ciccia piccante (I think that’s what it’s called), which was with tomato and pepperoni and cheeese. The cheese was very melty, but the highlight of all the pizzas were definitely the dough. Mindblowing. A must-go restaurant, they’re named top 50 in Italy, so clearly it’s worth the stop!! Atmosphere 9/10 Even though it was outdoors and Sanremo is HOT during the summer, it did not take away from my joy when I ate here. The food was just that good. Their outdoor seating area had plenty of seats, some plants, and a super cute entryway with fairy lights. Service 7/10 Laid back service, but very good and relaxing vibes.

If I wanted that kind of chaotic, unprofessional atmosphere, I’d eat at a train station. The bald guy with a beard, Ciro, was behaving in a way that would be inappropriate even for a toilet attendant. He hated every second of being there and having to speak to clients. He was openly arguing with other employees while taking our order. Pizza is good tho. I would’ve suggest to order to go by phone, and then just to pick up your order to avoid all communication with the staff.

If you're in Sanremo and want to enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine, Ristorante La Pignese is a great place to go. Not only are the dishes typically Mediterranean-style, but they also have some delicious locally-made wines to match. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, so you'll feel right at home.
We had a lovely lunch here during our visit to San Remo. The servers were very attentive. They supplied very good gluten-free bread sticks for me 👍 I had an appetizer of 2 artichoke flans, one with bagna cauda sauce and one with castelmagno cheese sauce. The artichokes were fresh and very tasty. The bagna cauda could have used more anchovies. My husband had the pacheri pasta, and we both had the stockfish and polenta main course, which was delicious. A larger portion would have been appreciated 😋😅 The dessert cart was filled with beautiful choices, but we are still trying to lose some holiday weight, so we reluctantly passed 😅

Santuario Diocesano Nostra Signora Assunta - Madonna della Costa is a stately hilltop church in Sanremo, offering stunning views of the city and the sea. The sanctuary, located on the Pigna hill-promontory, features ornate frescoes and statues that attract visitors. The interior boasts historic paintings, statues, and other works of art.
What a beautiful surprise!! This small church had amazing sculptures and paintings. If you are already at the top of the hill, it is certainly worth visiting.

At the top of the Pigna, this fantastic sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin is particularly important to the inhabitants of San Remo who could spot it when they were at sea. Erected to celebrate the liberation from Doria rule in 1361, the building today presents a structure that was remodeled in the Baroque period. Inside, it's the opportunity to admire a painting of the Virgin and Child by Nicolo da Voltri (15th century), considered miraculous.

Historical landmark
La Pigna di Sanremo, named after the pinecone due to its resemblance to the scales of a pinecone, was established around 1000 as a walled city and fortress to defend against invaders and pirates. The peaceful stroll through its car-free streets begins at Porta di Santo Stefano near Mercato Annonario, leading visitors through cobbled streets, squares, archways, churches, and residential houses up to the sanctuary of Madonna della Costa at the summit.
Beautiful medieval old stone town. It’s like a Labyrinth easy to get lost, narrow streets and stairs going up and down. If you want to take photos go during the day. During the night the streets are very illuminated therefore it’s difficult to get good photos.

The Museum of Sanremo, located in the grand Palazzo Nota, is a treasure trove of the town's rich archaeological, historical, and artistic heritage. The first floor houses an impressive collection of ancient artifacts dating back to prehistoric times, providing visitors with a captivating journey through the region's history. On the second floor, an art gallery showcases exquisite paintings and sculptures from the 17th century onwards.
Highly recommend a visit. A splendid gem in the center of Sanremo. Exhibits in Italian, but they have a tablet with descriptions in English. The three floors tell the story of Sanremo through the ages. The painting of “Saint Napoleon” reveals that influence operations are not new. Great exhibit on the cartoonist and writer Antonio Rubino.

Magnificent statue which might give you strength and hope, located in well-known Corso Imperatrice, which is one of the most prestigious seaside promenades of the Riviera dei Fiori, is bordered on the sea side by the "Passeggiata dell'Imperatrice", and in the middle of a carpet of flowers stands what has become the symbol of Sanremo, namely the statue of the "Primavera", a slender young girl among garlands of flowers, created by the sculptor Vincenzo Pasquali who made it in the early 1920's. The famous statue appears to have been created by Pasquali, imitating the youthful and exuberant features of his recently deceased daughter, Italia. Pasquali always denied posing for her father, but some recently discovered writings confirm the truth. Since then, it has remained in the same spot, regardless of the weather, one of the most admired and naturally photographed monument in Sanremo. Unfortunately, it really seems that some people have nothing better to do than attack public heritage, and in particular the "Primavera," with several acts of vandalism.

Floriseum, also known as the Flower Museum, is located in the Villetta Winter (Villa Ormond) and offers a fascinating journey into the floral history of Sanremo. The museum pays tribute to the pioneers who cultivated and distributed flowers like carnations across Northern Europe in the 19th century, leading to San Remo being recognized as the 'City of Flowers'. Visitors can explore old photos and images that depict this historical evolution.
This is a great little tribute to the men and women who started developing and producing flowers like carnations for sale - distributed all over Northern Europe from the 19th century - the start of San Remo becoming the 'City of Flowers' 🌸🌼 A must to visit although there are no flowers to see - only history in old photos and pictures - remember to go upstairs!

Park is nice, no flowers, though. Obviously depends on the time of year. Museum: very limited opening hours. We could not even find the entrance, or the opening hours, except through Google. Just a sign on what looked like an entrance, pointing nowhere, apparently to where the entrance was supposed to be ... EDIT: eventually I found the opening hours, on a large sign near one side of the house. A bit sad, that the café has the same hours as the museum. It would be very nice to have coffe here in the park.

Taverna Al 29 is a top restaurant in Sanremo, known for its intimate atmosphere and delicious food. It's advisable to make reservations early due to its small size. The restaurant offers great service, amazing food, and an excellent selection of wines, providing a unique and authentic Italian dining experience. Visitors praise the friendly staff, relaxed ambiance, and highly recommend it as a hidden gem in San Remo for those seeking an exceptional dining experience.
What a fantastic find this is, on the outskirts of the old town in a beautiful setting whether inside the restaurant or outside. The hosts are very welcoming and the food is amazing with a variety of freshly cooked local Italian dishes. You are not rushed and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. This is the second time we have visited and we were remembered from the year before as we are a football team from England. Will visit again with Family.

Taverna Al 29 offers an excellent dining experience with amazing service and incredibly welcoming, friendly staff who truly make you feel at home. The starters and spaghetti were delicious—full of flavour and cooked to perfection. As a nice touch, they offered us limoncello at the end of the meal. While I’m not usually a fan, I have to admit it was quite good and added to the overall experience. However, I wouldn't recommend it as a place to go specifically for pizza; while they are on the menu, they're just okay compared to the other dishes. The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is the somewhat limited variety of dishes on the menu. Expanding their offerings would make the experience even better. Still, it's a wonderful spot for a tasty and a very enjoyable meal!

Saw this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. It is off the main street in a piazza & it didn't disappoint. We were greeted at the door by the owner, who was friendly and explained the menu. The restaurant was very authentic, very clean & food was great with plenty of choice. After eating we were given a small bottle of lemoncello which was a lovely touch. Would definitely visit again.

A charming restaurant tucked away in La Pigna. We dined here for dinner and sat outside in the square. Wonderful atmosphere and good music choice. The food is delicious but the service is what makes this place our favorite. They were all so friendly and funny. Always a smile to greet us everyday when we would walk by to and from our apartment near by. It was like we were all old friends. They were attentive, relaxed, and made sure we were happy which is appreciated when you don’t always come across that in other restaurants. Thank you for the excellent service and wonderful memories for our time in Sanremo. We will be back when we return next year!

We are from USA visiting Sanremo for a day Andre the owner was disrespectful and unfriendly . He sat at his table flagging people on did not know how to greet them.. The waiters kept going to tables who were sweated after us and serving them . Waited for our food for over 1.5 hour, no one came to our table to check , appetizer salad and main course arrived at the same time , had to wait for the desert a long time as well not to mention the check , He only came to us because we decided to leave Not recommended to any one .

We had lunch here while strolling around Sanremo and I have to say it was an amazing experience. The service was friendly and relaxed and the atmosphere almost out of this world - quiet piazza hidden between the old buildings, with a warm breeze and Italian classics (that everyone adores) as background music. And the food… I had tagliolini al ragù di pesce and it was like heaven on a plate. The pizzas were delicious too. The culinary experience combined with the atmosphere really became the highlight of our day. Will definitely have to come back!

We have never seen such rude service anywhere in the city. They literally threw the menu on the table. The food is tasteless and does not match the description. The products look like frozen. The place itself looks uncomfortable, plastic furniture, the square is being renovated.

They do not accept credit cards or debit cards, however, so be sure to bring plenty of cash if you plan on dining here.
What a gem in the old part of Sanremo. Family owned and operated restaurant. Like going to your Italian grandmother. Homemade and delicious food. We recommend the spaghetti ragu and spaghetti puttanesca. AMAZING.

A very authentic and eclectic restaurant in the back streets of the old town. This was just down the road from our Airbnb and had such great reviews. We came to learn that this is a family run business and as such feels like you are being cared for by family. The food is like real home cooking, tasty and ample in size. The complimentary starters of small bread with spreads us a lovely touch. The restaurant is only small inside so I would suggest booking or arrive right on opening time at 7pm so that you get a table and avoid missing out. So good!

Beautiful restaurant situated on a charismatic street. The service is great, attentive and quiet friendly. The dishes were fresh and tasty. Beautiful experience.

We had lunch in this family restaurant the 5th of August, we were 3, the menu with antipasti plus... A pasta among 3 choices was nice and accommodation gentle. NO Credit card... . so do have cash. 3 people cost 57 euros with 3 drinks, 3 meals and one dessert. Food fresh and it's worth the walk to go there :)

If you’re looking to eat the best pasta of your life, look no further ( and I can say I ate a lot of pasta everywhere in Italy throughout my life). THIS is the restaurant you need to eat at in Sanremo, this is the restaurant you need to eat at in Italy! Apart from the amazing food, the ambiance is as special and as out of the ordinary as it can be, eating on the street in the old Vicoli is truly an experience in its simplicity. My only regret about this place was that they ran out of almost all desserts until we got to the end of our meal and couldn’t try their Tiramisu ( which I do each and every time when available in restaurants in my quest for the best tiramisu in the world) . Only for this, if not for everything else, this is the restaurant I must eat in at least for a second time. Grazie a voi

Incredible homemade pastas and authentic Ligurian dishes in a tiny restaurant hidden away on a picturesque street - cash only!

Really welcoming service and delicious food 😍 Excellent price considering the portions. The place has a unique aura, inside and outside. I really recommend it and I wish someday I can return!

I visited for lunch with a friend and we had a great experience. After a full morning of traveling we were very hungry and wanted to eat some Ligurian food and ended up here. The walk to the restaurant was super cool as we went through a bunch of tunnels and old walkways to eventually end up at this cute restaurant. They offer a deal that includes an antipasti plate and your choice of pasta dish for €12. The antipasti were a delicious assortment of salads and breads and cured meat. For pasta we tried both the Trenette al Pesto con Fagiolini e Patate and the Ravioli a Mano al pomodoro e timo. Both were great and I would recommend both dishes. My favorite was the ravioli. Lastly we wanted to try Brandacujun, a regional specialty. It was great. For wine we did a half liter of a local rosé and we also order a bottle of water. For all this our total came out to €48 and we were stuffed. Astmosphere and food experience was all around a great time.

Ristorante Salsadrena is a hidden gem with excellent service and delectable cuisine. Situated close to the Langhe region, their wines are also exceptional. Unlike disappointing experiences in Genova, here the food is flavorful and satisfying. The spaghetti alle vongole and pizza diavola stand out as particularly delicious options. Furthermore, this establishment offers a wonderful view, reasonable prices, and has gluten-free alternatives for those with dietary restrictions.
We have been to this restaurant many times during the years, and we never got disappointed! It's on the promenade and close to the adjacent hotels. Their food is tasty, and the view is breathtaking (reservation recommended)

During my tour in Italy, I visited this wonderful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, excellent food, and exceptionally friendly staff. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my childhood doll behind, and by the time I realized, the restaurant had already closed. Though I was saddened by the situation, I reached out to the restaurant, and they were incredibly understanding and helpful. Knowing how important the doll was to me, they kindly assisted in shipping it back to me in Canada. I am truly grateful for their generosity and support. I would definitely return to this restaurant the next time I visit!

Great place - the food was delish and fresh, the staff friendly and well priced. The view on the sea is always a plus. They seemed to be short on staff, so we had to wait a bit, but well worth it. Slowdown and relax.

Fantastic gluten-free pizza, a wide selection of pizzas on the menu as well as other interesting dishes, and pleasant service.

Not recommended at all / Staff miserable / no ability to allow us a table outside as booked !! But it wasn’t. / turbot over cooked and tasteless potatoes and courgettes watery ie food crap / ie suggest find somewhere else !!! Pizza tasteless and my wife is usually forgiving , but not in this case. Other people came up to me as I was leaving and agreed with the sub standard of the food. CONCLUSION EXPENSIVE FOR VERY SUBSTANDARD FOOD. SO SAVE YOUR SANITY AND EAT ELSEWHERE.

The place is lovely with sea view. The food is very cheap and the dishes we ordered were devoid of any taste. The same goes for the service. Although they have many employees, they delayed us for a long time, requests were delayed a lot, and their way of dealing was not good. The dish that I ordered was supposed to be steak, but as you can see in the picture, cold cuts of meat, that they are dry from the inside, with four pieces of potato chips .

It’s a place you order pizza and take out or at best eat on your feet, it’s not a restaurant. The food is very good compared to other places and priced good. The people making the pizza are awesome to talk to.

(Translated by Google) We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery, including one with raw ham and a margherita, once they arrived quickly I must admit, we realized the quality of the pizzas was truly terrible. I'm just saying that I felt sick, the raw ham had a whitish color, it was really hard... I ate it out of hunger. The margherita seemed to be made of paper, without taste, without tomato, a mess. A really bad experience, I still don't feel well.

(Translated by Google) I laugh when I read negative reviews about this place. not if someone doesn't like pizza (it's a matter of taste) but when someone talks about bad quality or worse. in addition to being a pizza fan, I have a major health problem (I'm missing a piece of intestine) and after having eaten Alessandro's pizza for years, which I consider the best in Sanremo, if it hadn't been qualitatively perfect I would have already died! sorry for the splatter, but it helps to convey the idea. I just devoured a calzone and as always I am very satisfied!

(Translated by Google) I got a couple of pizzas for takeout last night, and I was extremely satisfied. I found the pizza to be excellent, with delicious ingredients, and a well-leavened, thin crust, just the way I like it. The staff was truly kind and friendly. Definitely an experience worth repeating! (Original) Ho preso da asporto un paio di pizze ieri sera, ebbene sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. Pizza che ho trovato ottima, ingredienti buonissimi, pizza ben lievitata e sottile come piace a me. Il personale è stato veramente gentilissimo e simpatico. Sicuramente esperienza da ripetere!
