Grill Costa Mar

$$$$affordable
Mediterranean restaurant
Spanish restaurant
Nestled in the charming port area of Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, Grill Costa Mar is a delightful family-run eatery that captures the essence of coastal dining. With its laid-back vibe and stunning sea views, this restaurant specializes in an array of grilled fresh fish and seafood dishes, including mouthwatering paella and succulent king prawns. What sets Grill Costa Mar apart is its commitment to quality ingredients, often infused with a unique Basque twist that elevates traditional flavors.
Grill Costa Mar delivered an amazing dining experience from start to finish! I started with the fish croquettes as an appetizer, which were crispy and flavorful, followed by a fresh tomato salad with feta and avocado – the ingredients were clearly super fresh and bursting with flavor. The main course was a perfectly grilled entrecôte, incredibly tender and juicy. The cozy atmosphere by the harbor and the friendly staff made the experience even better. All in all, a wonderful evening with delicious, fresh food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great food, fair prices, and genuinely friendly service. We had fresh fish, grilled meat, and local wine, all spot on. Portions were generous without being over the top. The staff were attentive but not pushy, and the setting near the harbour made for a relaxed dinner. Would happily come back, solid choice if you want proper food without the tourist trap feel.
Patrik K — Google review
Very nice small local restaurant. Best paella we have ever had. Bruschetta for starter was delicios and generously big to share for two. And of course very nice service and staff was fab and good-mannered. 👌🏼👍🏼Highly recommend!
Galina N — Google review
What a lovely restaurant with a nice view on the harbour and away from the tourist traps. Love the Canarian dishes. Are going back next week for the paella!
Christine G — Google review
Nice little place with lovely staff and tasty food. I ate pasta with sea food and my wife had a squid with potatoes and sallad. Lovely
Marin R — Google review
Grill Costa Mar is one of those places that makes you want to linger a little longer. Perfectly situated right by Puerto Rico’s harbour, it offers an unbeatable setting where you can watch the boats come and go, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the lively harbour ambience. It’s also a prime spot for people-watching, with plenty happening around you while you sit back and relax. There is great coffee here which is ideal for a mid-morning break. The menu is varied, with meals and snacks that are tasty and well-prepared. The fresh fish dishes are especially good, cooked simply and perfectly to bring out all their flavour. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, particularly given the location. The beer is cold, and the cocktails are well made. What really adds to the experience is the service. Ramón, in particular, is always welcoming, friendly, and attentive, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere where you feel looked after without ever being rushed. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee, enjoying a leisurely lunch, or settling in with cocktails as the sun sets, Grill Costa Mar is a brilliant place to pause and soak up the best of Puerto Rico. This is a true harbour gem that I recommend to locals and visitors alike.
Stevie B — Google review
Amazing meal here last night. Had Prawns, Mushrooms and ham in garlic and Bruschetta to start, which both tasted great loads of flavour. The Red Snapper was cooked to perfection and Chicken with ham and cheese was delicious. All perfectly complimented by a great local wine. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a great all round experience. Best meal of the holiday
Richard W — Google review
Lovely local restaurant with lots of fresh fish options. One of our best nights, as much more relaxed than the chaos of the centre and we felt more authentic. The staff were very welcoming and the chef was wonderful. Very reasonable cost for the quality of food.. Thank you for a wonderful evening 💕.. Highly recommend, we phoned to book a table.

Restaurante Grill Toro Bravo

$$$$affordable
Steak house
Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurante Grill Toro Bravo is a must-visit steakhouse that has captured the hearts of many during their stay in Puerto Rico. Nestled in a picturesque setting, guests can savor their meals on the balcony while soaking in breathtaking sunset views. Renowned for its exceptional steaks, this restaurant also caters wonderfully to families, ensuring kids feel special with creative pizza presentations and thoughtful service. The staff goes above and beyond, providing high chairs for little ones along with drinks and cutlery tailored just for them.
During our week-long vacation in Puerto Rico, we dined at Toro Bravo three times—including our last dinner before heading home. Each time, we felt warmly welcomed, and the staff took great care of us and our children. A special shout-out to Jose, whose kindness and positive energy truly made our experience unforgettable. The owner is lucky to have such a wonderful person on the team! The food and drinks were top-notch. We loved every dish we tried. Our kids especially enjoyed the grilled chicken, fun mocktails, and the crepes with Nutella and ice cream. My husband and I were big fans of the seafood with Canarian potatoes. And the paella? One of the best I’ve ever had—and that’s saying something, since it’s my favorite dish! Our eldest son also loved the Mojito, calling it one of the best in his life. To end the night, Jose even performed a magic trick and gave the kids lollipops, which made the evening extra special. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Puerto Rico. Thank you, Toro Bravo, and best of luck with your continued success!
Diana P — Google review
We absolutely loved this place, the older server having jokes with the younger crowd and the recommendations he gave were perfect. If you go get the steak, and if you are a group of two get the Chateaubriand with the sliced potato and you are SET. Shots as normal with the meal but a choice of what ever you wanted, and a cheeky refill from them. Great people, great food and a beautiful setting. Thank you!!
Matt — Google review
We have dined here four times this week. Service and food has been excellent.

It's called a Stake House, but they have lots of amazing vegetarian and vegan dishes! The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Made us welcome and with their jokes, made us all laugh! Highly recommend!
Aleksandra — Google review
Shame it was our last night and our first time visiting the restaurant. The service from all the staff was excellent and the food was great quality and good value. Will come back next time we're in Puerto Rico.
Peter S — Google review
Amazing restaurant! We loved it so much we went back. Kids loved their pizza - first time it had a little head added on top and the second time it was shaped like an apple. Stuff is amazing with kids - my kids came with their toys and got a high chair for it, a little drink, plate and tiny set of cutlery. They couldn't do more for us! We felt so spoilt by their service. Kids got lollies and adults got a complimentary drink with our bill. It was a really nice gesture. Nice choice of vegetarian meals which is very rare - I definitely didn't leave hungry. Veggie fajita with some salsa sauce on the side was to die for! Really tasty. Hubby had a mixed kebab with a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Drinks were also really nice. It was our first time in Gran Canaria, but when we're come back we will definitely go to Toro Bravo again! :)

Wonderful staff with a great sense of humour and really good food. This was a fun and welcoming dining experience!

Barbacoa Gran Canaria (Restaurant & Showbar)

Live music venue
Bar & grill
Barbacoa Gran Canaria is a top-notch restaurant and showbar that offers an amazing dining experience with fantastic entertainment. The staff are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great time. The show features talented singers and dancers, creating a lively atmosphere for all to enjoy. The food is delicious, especially the salads, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal.
One of the absolute highlights of our trip to Gran Canaria was visiting the barbacoa!!! what an amazing spot! 🍹✨ We ended up there every night from the show bar and then into the cocktail bar and honestly had the best time. The atmosphere was brilliant, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and it just had such a warm, safe, and relaxed vibe. The shows they put on were absolutely brilliant so entertaining, well put together, and genuinely fun to watch. You can tell a lot of thought and effort goes into making every night special. It’s one of those places you walk into for a drink and end up staying the whole evening without even realising it! The drinks were great, service was fab, and the overall energy of the place was just spot on. Definitely a must visit if you’re heading to Gran Canaria we’ll 100% be back next time we’re there! 🎤🍸🌴

Dined here quite a few times mostly for breakfasts and a couple of times in the evening. It is the first place you encounter when entering Europa centre from the Roundabout. Enjoyed the breakfasts, morning staff here were polite & friendly apart from one waitress that became very annoyed if we could split the bill, said her maths weren't very good and use our calculator, aske how much the items we'd had were, said she had no idea. Yet service was excellent at all other times and more friendly. Food cooked freshly to order. Nice views to enjoy whilst dining. Only bad point was a horrid foul smell from toilets. Of an evening there is a very pushy lady stood outside trying to get you inside and gets a bit annoying. Staff in the evening were not as polite or helpful. Quite abrupt when asking to split a bill, appeared quite agitated by the suggestion. I don't think they understand that not all parties dining order or spend the same. Asked one waiter what time they opened in the morning as we had a trip booked and needed to be out early, he wasn't helpful at all and said he didn't know, or rather he didn't want to know and couldn't be bothered to find out. If he didn't know then who should we ask, he worked there.
Wing N — Google review
Lively showbar with plenty of mixed entertainment. We seen a fab Drag Show whilst having a nice meal. Staff are friendly. It does get quite busy here so get in early or book your table. A late bar is quite nice at times too.
Alan A — Google review
Nice bar for a drink or entertainment, only visited a couple of times on our holiday. Food was a bit bland, so didn’t eat here again after the first night. We saw the blonde singer & Beatles tribute, both very good. The lady greeting customers outside was friendly but a bit too pushy every single night we walked past to come in for food, even if we said no.
Abby — Google review
Very good fish & chips at this British restaurant. We enjoyed ABBA Tribute on Tuesday. Good service.
Jingwei Z — Google review
Lively & always something on to entertain you. Whether it live sport or shows in the evenings. Cocktails were nice & reasonably priced. We didn't eat here but all of the food we saw comjng out looked amazing. Really generous portions too. Staff accommodating & welcoming. Drag shows are a must see here.

Absolutely superb food at an amazing price. We had chicken wing starters. T-bone syrak and fiilet steak which were both to die for, cooked to perfection. A must if your in the area. My Wife and I will definitely be back. A massive well done to the chef and staff xx🥩🥩🥩❤️

Restaurante El Gaitero

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Spanish restaurant
Restaurante El Gaitero is a typical resort restaurant with a diverse menu that has garnered positive reviews for its service and hospitality. It stands out as one of the few restaurants open during the day, offering ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The establishment is known for its cleanliness and quick, friendly service. Visitors have praised the delicious food, particularly highlighting dishes like lasagne, chicken in mushroom sauce with vegetables, bruschetta, and Canarian potatoes with their signature sauce.
Proper homemade food with no fuss. We had the Canarian stew and grilled pork, both were well cooked and tasted like something you'd get at a family gathering. Prices were reasonable and the service was relaxed but welcoming. It’s a bit tucked away, but worth finding if you prefer local dishes over tourist menus.
Patrik K — Google review
The service was nothing special, the tapas were decent, but the tomato cream soup was very disappointing. The paella was good, though not outstanding. However, the restaurant offers a nice view, which adds to the overall experience.
Sebastian C — Google review
We visited this restaurant with my husband on our first evening after arriving in Gran Canaria. It is located in Puerto Rico-Mogán, an area filled with various restaurants and a very touristy vibe. Unfortunately, the service was unwelcoming and felt very rushed, with no real recommendations provided. We ordered some appetizers, including garlic shrimp in olive oil—a dish we ended up trying in many other restaurants during our trip. However, compared to everywhere else, the shrimp here were the driest and least flavorful. Overall, the food was mediocre, and the service left much to be desired. It seemed like this place primarily caters to Norwegian tourists, as there were many of them, and the menu was predominantly presented in Norwegian, which felt a bit odd. For these reasons, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
Tatjana K — Google review
Very lovely restaurant - we came back for a second time in 5 days. Great atmosphere with a big open balcony. A stand out dish was the vegetable paella. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming.
Rachel S — Google review
Amazing food! Loved every dish we ordered, especially the Tigre (mussels croquette). Ramon’s cooking is excellent! ❤️❤️

We picked such a great restaurant for our last night in GC! We stayed in Maspalomas, so it was like a 20 mins drive, definetly worth it! Delicious food, big portions (didn’t expected that), good prices, great vibe, friendly servers! Will definetly come back if we’ll revisit GC! ❤️
Diana P — Google review
We love it here. The food is amazing, and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The paella is to die for.

Vivaldi Restaurant

Temporarily Closed
Italian restaurant
Mediterranean restaurant
Pizza restaurant
If you're looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Puerto Rico, then Vivaldi is the place to go. The food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. The only downside is that it can get quite busy, so make sure you plan ahead.
Highly recommended! Seafood spaghetti and kid's napolitana were really good! Good price. Also we enjoyed the view. Kids friendly and perfect hospitality. They gave my kids so many cards and other stuff for the dish waiting time.
F T — Google review
Went to Vivaldi's last year for our wedding anniversary. Went this evening again for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Brilliant welcome, fantastic food and we were spoiled rotten by Sami (wow can she cook) and Marco who is an excellent host. Will be going back (more than once) before we have to return to the UK.
P J — Google review
This is supposed to be authentic Italian. It is not. I ordered Gorgonzola Gnocchi and there was no taste of Gorgonzola anywhere. Gnocchi was passable but the dish was very underwhelming. Against my better judgement I ordered dessert to give the place the chance to redeem itself. It didn't. The biscuit bae hadn't even been soaked in coffee and was served deconstructed. Not what I had hoped for. They have a high rating and not sure why.
Mark M — Google review
Vivaldi was an absolute treat! fantastic food, great customer service, very very friendly staff could not ask for any better. Only issue I had was trying to find the place, as it’s located upstairs in a quiet area. However the view from the restaurant overlooks the beach and the dock which is lovely, definitely worth a visit!
Joshua S — Google review
We had two lovely meals here at Vivaldi during our time in Puerto Rico. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Sami and Marco are brilliant, they really go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. We had pasta on our first visit and requested risotto for our second visit which was outstanding. Food was delicious, the sea food was fresh and cooked to perfection. A must visit in Puerto Rico.
T M — Google review
The staff was awesome, and the Pizza was amazing! I would really recommend this place
Jeanett W — Google review
Wow. One of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to in Gran Canaria. The female staff member who served us was chatty, attentive and a pleasure to speak to. The food was very fairly priced. There was large filling portions. Food was of great quality and all hot and fresh. Will absolutely be back again. Lovely evening with my partner finished the mains with their home made dessert and a nice cold beer, unreal.
Sophia W — Google review
We had a very, very good diner @Vivaldi. This is definitely a recommendation for people who like Italian cuisine. The food that comes out of the kitchen is all made on order so very fresh, due to this it can take a bit longer. So if you would like to go for a quick fix, this is not recommended. You better go to MCDONALD'S then. The hostes were very lovely thanks once more for everything and we will forward the message 😘😘

Oscar's Restaurant

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Mediterranean restaurant
After a day at the beach, I went straight to Oscar's for dinner. Unfortunately, the waiter was speaking Spanish to a customer and it put a damper on the mood. However, things quickly turned around when we were served delicious starters. The main course, a fish platter, was also tasty and reasonably priced. The highlight of the night was David, the resident piano man who entertained us with singalongs and created a great atmosphere.
The food was amazing. Service very friendly and quick. Happy restaurant. The fillet steak, medium rare was perfect. Highly recommend the Oscar fillet. Can’t really make any complaints.
Pjboma76 — Google review
Food was fine - nothing special. Of all the restaurants in that line I would choose this one. The salad was really boring and tasteless. Didn’t get anything to go with the Canadian potatoes. The staff were super friendly and moved a table so had room for all of us.
Mona B — Google review
Oscar’s is one of the more refined places to eat in Puerto Rico without being stuffy. The service stood out, professional, attentive, and timed just right. We had a steak and fresh fish, both cooked exactly as ordered and nicely presented. It’s a bit pricier than the average spot around here, but you get what you pay for. The setting is calm, and it works well for a quieter dinner or something a bit more special. Not a place for a quick bite, but ideal if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal properly. Would return without hesitation.
Patrik K — Google review
Oscar's Restaurant, opposite Playa de Puerto Rico, offers a nice spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. The place is clean, and the staff were friendly, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. They provide menus in multiple languages, typical for the area, and offer both a lunch menu and a regular menu, though we noticed they featured the same items without any unique options. The drinks were decent—my mojito was enjoyable, although the sugar wasn’t fully dissolved. We both ordered the sea bass from the lunch menu. While I expected it to come out quickly, we ended up waiting about 20-30 minutes. The fish itself was well-cooked, but the accompanying salad was just roughly chopped vegetables with no seasoning, and the Canary potatoes were also unseasoned. For dessert, we shared a chocolate mousse, which was quite nice, and the barraquito was excellent. Overall, the experience was okay, but felt a bit pricey for what we got. However, the pricing seems in line with other restaurants in this area.
Rosi P — Google review
Oscar’s is a great restaurant and located in a competitive location. There are excellent menu options available including traditional food, amazing steaks and really great seafood. The mixed fish on the menu was so good I went back for it again. There is a relaxed ambience that is just perfect for lunch or an evening meal. When back in Puerto Rico I will be sure to go visit again.

Italian restaurant
ViP Pizza is a pizza restaurant with several locations in both Puerto Rico and Gran Canaria, Spain. The restaurants serve Italian, Mediterranean, European cuisine. Outdoor seating and street parking are available. Food is served with table service. Alcoholic beverages are available.
I had the Contadina pizza that was huge and also quite thick with a variety of vegetable toppings bringing different flavours with most slices. I Struggled to finish this after opting to have bruschetta as a starter so left very full. The service was really friendly.

Amazing gem. Not easiest to find because it's accessed through a pub but well worth a visit. Staff are great hosts and pizzas are amazing. You roll out. Real Italian feel unlike other pizza cafes in the area. Very reasonably prices too.

We love this place. Truly authentic and stunning pizza. It's tucked away but it's reputation alone should draw you in. If you want peak times it's best to book as it's always busy. Fascistic food, fantastic staff. Enjoy.

The best pizza in the south of Gran Canaria, 8 years since my last visit and wow the Calzone was still the best and most authentic outside of Italy that I have ever eaten, backed up with superb service by the most attentive and polite staff you can ever ask for. And at a price that is such good value too ! Keep it up guys and enjoy your well deserved vacation 🌞😎

We went to happy valley Indian restaurant in shopping center Puerto Rico on Wednesday. Our waiter was Suraj. We chose the 38 euro menu and omg the food was fantastic! 7 starters including popadums with pickles, followed by chicken bhuna, chicken passanda, mushroom rice, pilau rice and keema naan. There was just too much for us! We took a lot home for lunch Thursday! Our waiter was great and he told us a lot of information about what we were eating. The wine was served in lovely glasses and was a quality wine. We will be back next week as we really enjoyed it there!

Amazing food and service. Went twice in our 6 day trip. The waiter went above and beyond and food was delicious!
Isla K — Google review
Absolutely amazing. We visiting twice and both were just as good as each other. We had the set menus both times, first with 4 people for €74 and the second time just two of us at €38. Both menus we ordered from comes with a starter share place, including all the starters, 1 curry each. And then chips, rice and Nan bread depending on how many of you there are. The food is incredible and the chicken pakoras😍 The service is amazing too. The only down side is when you sit outside the restaurant if the people coming round selling fake items see you then will stop and talk to you. Which is off putting when you’re trying to eat.

The food was absolutely delicious! Went with my Pakistani friend as she wanted to show me cultural food of hers and it was so delicious, she was impressed herself :) the service was fast and we had such a polite waiter, his name being Huney/Honey. Rhodos Palace Restaurant is a highly recommended dining spot in the south of Gran Canaria, located in Parasella Shopping Centre near Playa de Amadores. The restaurant offers an authentic Greek dining experience with a friendly staff and great atmosphere.
The food we got was so delicious and as a bonus the restaurant has a beautiful view. Definitely try out if you are around and craving for greek food!

We fancied something different to eat from the usual menus and opted for Rhodos palace. A great choice was made i can assure you. Meze platter for 2 was beautiful . Then the rabbit !😳 👌🏻 it was beautiful. Lots of big bits slow cooked. I would go back for it alone. Great friendly service to make a really nice evening.

Rhodos Palace offers a comfortable and relaxing experience with beautiful views over Puerto Rico. The hotel is well-maintained, with spacious rooms and plenty of amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The staff are friendly and always willing to help, providing excellent service throughout your visit. The hotel’s pool area is one of its highlights, with plenty of loungers to relax by, and the on-site restaurants offer a good selection of food, with options for both local and international cuisine. If you’re looking to unwind, the hotel also offers a spa and wellness centre. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly spot or a quiet getaway, Rhodos Palace provides a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay in Puerto Rico.

The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel very welcome from the start. The food was absolutely delicious and authentically Greek—especially the traditional Gyros, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The moussaka was a standout dish—rich, flavorful, and clearly homemade. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended if you're in Puerto Rico and craving some authentic Greek cuisine!
Al — Google review
We visited this restaurant the final night of our holiday hoping for one final great meal, unfortunately our expectations were NOT met. We ate chicken gyros, we were served 3 small burnt wraps intended to accommodate 2 meals… the chicken was flavoured nicely however it was dry and chewy. The chips..they were not cooked or seasoned nicely, they tasted as if reheated or cooked in oil very overdue a change. Our soft drinks were bottled and served in a giant pint glass with one ice cube and a straw The staff were friendly at first, but then were pushing past our chairs and barging into them as so many (empty) tables are crammed in. They used the end of our tables to lay things off of other tables in the process of clearing and relaying tables while we were trying to eat our meals. In the end both meals were left half finished and we paid and left…the staff did not ask if anything was wrong with our meals and instead hurried to clear the plates before anyone could notice our dissatisfaction. I am not usually one to complain and left without fuss but felt this review was needed. I believe it was clear we were not happy with our food, so instead of asking if everything was okay we were instead ignored. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We visited 3 times over our 2 week stay! That’s how delicious the food is. My teenage daughters loved this place. We particularly enjoyed the meatballs in metaxa sauce and the beef Mexicana. The rice was super tasty and all reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place. There is a lady (perhaps the owner) who often takes the payment and will shake everyone’s hands as you leave. A lovely touch from a lovely lady!

Everything has been ok until we asked for the check. The guy said "please tip your server" and then left. We were going to anyway, but blatantly asking for it it's a first in Spain. It's entitled, disrespectful, assuring that we won't choose this place the second time. Why tip him? He has been grumpy and frowning the entire time we've been there. Then the Asian server (which was nice) explained to us that the tips on card don't go to them, just the cash tips. To the owners: shame on you for not giving your servers the tips left on the cards. Pay them properly so they don't have to embarrass people on their holiday. Food ok but the entire meal was ruined by this attitude. Add 3 more euros to the price that you see here on maps. I asked for the bill twice cause he forgot (or didn't care) and for my baileys twice again, but you desire tips. Pathetic.

We came here with our friends who were visiting from Mogan, after struggling to choose where to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here despite the area looking a bit lacklustre. The lady who served us was very kind, and the food was authentic. They had run out of spiced rum and we saw one of the waiters come back sweating after he ran to the shop to get it for me bless him. Would happily come back. Yamas !

Da Pinocchio

Restaurant
Mediterranean restaurant
Da Pinocchio is a great Italian restaurant with delicious food and efficient service. It's very busy, so book ahead. There's outdoor seating as well as wheelchair accessible seating. The bar offers full service and serves alcohol, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out.
The best pizzas. We have eaten here many times. If you don't book ahead you might struggle to get in. The selection of pizzas is incredible. You can even create your own. Despite being fully booked all the time the service is great too. Highly recommend the Al Capone 👌

The food is amazing. We had pasta, pizza and for dessert tiramisu. Amazing, worth the waiting and the money. Heavily recommended. The staff very attentive, friendly, overall best italian food in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria.

A perfect dining spot that delivers every time, delicious food, welcoming staff, and unbeatable value. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Food: We’ve been here on numerous occasions and have tried a variety of dishes, every single one has been excellent. The menu offers something for everyone, with generous portions and consistently high quality. The prices are surprisingly low for the level of food you get. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Drinks: We’ve also tried several drinks here. One standout is the Macallan, which costs only €9.00 (at the time of writing), a great price compared to many other places. A solid selection overall, with great value. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Staff: The staff are fantastic, always smiling, friendly, and quick. Since we’ve become repeat customers, they now recognise us and always go out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The service is both warm and efficient. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Environment: The restaurant is super cute and nicely decorated. It’s always buzzing with people, yet we’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. The music is just right, present but quiet enough to comfortably enjoy a conversation. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Value for Money: Incredible value. This is easily our favourite restaurant on the island. The combination of great food, low prices, generous portions, and excellent service is unmatched. If you’re after good food at a fair price, this is the place to go. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ ✅ Overall Rating: 5.0/5 ⭐️

Very affordable and consistent restaurant in Puerto Rico. The food is probably not the best in the whole of Puerto Rico, but always good. Friendly staff who remembers who you are. Have never had a bad dish here.

Absolutely not recommended!!! We came here for dinner last night. My wife had the shrimp pasta and I had the chicken pasta. About half an hour after eating, my wife started experiencing terrible stomach pain and began shaking. Shortly after, she threw up everything she had eaten. The shaking continued for another 15 minutes. The meal was an absolute nightmare.

Based on the extremely good reviews on the food, we thought this would be a nice place to eat. DO NOT GO HERE! We had to sit ourselves down, no waiter took us to our table. When a waiter finally noticed, he came over and THREW the menus at us, knocking over the menu holder, and then sucked his teeth as we walked off. With this attitude, we decided we didn’t want to eat here. Another waiter approached as we left and gave me and my mother extreme attitude asking what our problem was. Excuse me? This business deserves to go under.

Gran Canaria Airport

International airport
Airport
Gran Canaria Airport is conveniently connected to the island's capital, Las Palmas, and various tourist resorts through regular public buses. The airport offers a pleasant experience for families with facilities catering to both babies and toddlers, including play areas and private rooms. Additionally, there are amenities such as phone charging stations and access to essential services like grocery shopping at Spar for late arrivals. While the airport provides easy and quick security procedures, it also features duty-free shops with a decent selection of products.
A clean airport and very efficient, as usual in Spain, security is only 5 minutes. A fairly big airport for an island. We were quite late because of a delayed transfer, and we still managed to get there before our flight and even go duty free shopping because of the airport's efficiency! The airport has excellent public transport. The staff at the bus stop are very helpful and guide tourists on what bus to go on. Cheap and fairly frequent transport.
Noemi — Google review
Gran Canaria Airport is a well-organized and modern airport with smooth connections to both European and inter-island flights. ✅ Positives: • Clear signage and easy navigation inside the terminals. • Good variety of shops, cafés, and duty-free options. • Efficient security checks with relatively short waiting times compared to larger airports. • Public transport (bus connections) to Las Palmas and the south of the island is reliable and affordable. ⚠️ Could be improved: • Sometimes crowded during peak holiday season, which can make check-in and boarding a bit stressful. • Limited quiet seating areas if you need to rest between flights. Overall, it’s a pleasant airport with friendly staff and a good passenger experience, making travel to and from Gran Canaria smooth and enjoyable.

If you could, please get the lounge access. The setting is superb, even have the terrace to view the flight and lazy chair. The display of drinks and food are amazing and felt like in the store. I enjoyed the time here!

Good modern airport with all the latest facilities. Love the massive selection of shops here, especially Ele Hop (cow shop!) the Spanish version of a badget shop, that's super low price, almost a temu shop! (but better quality). It's a very user friendly airport and you are soon through.
Jody B — Google review
This is a wonderful, modern airport! It's exceptionally clean and offers plenty of space for waiting for your flight. We especially appreciated the large children's play area, which was a huge bonus.

Excellent and inexpensive vacation during the off-season. Plenty of beach volleyball courts. Warm sea, great oceanarium, delicious food almost everywhere, and inexpensive public transport. I like everything except the Asian fast food places.

Nice polite staff Andriana , representing Jet2 Holidays, delivered outstanding customer service — a true 10 out of 10. She is an asset to the company and represents the brand at a level comparable with the best operators. I travel frequently, living in Florida and currently journeying to Cyprus, and this has been one of the best customer service experiences I’ve received so far between the US and Europe.”

This Airport offers a comfortable and well-organized travel experience. Although security lines can get a bit long during peak hours, everything is handled efficiently. Its convenient access to public transportation and car rentals makes it easy to reach. Overall, a solid and reliable option for inter-island or international travel.

Tenerife South Airport

International airport
Airport
Tenerife South Airport, also known as Reina Sofia Airport, is a 1970s structure with convenient bus links to the entire island, including its second international airport, Norte. While Tenerife North offers nature and adventure, Tenerife South provides beach and sun experiences. The south is home to main all-inclusive hotels while the north boasts shelters in national parks. The airport hosts a variety of car rental companies and features water fountains throughout the facility.
Very good airport. Easy access, working air-conditioning, space and rest places. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Love it.

The airport is clean and well organized. After passing through security and the corridor with shops, you’ll find water refill stations near the toilet entrances, don’t forget to bring your bottle! There are plenty of seating areas, but the chairs aren't suitable for lying down since they have armrests between them. Toilets are clean but could have been better. Also, here’s an important note from the airport’s official website: “The airport terminal is closed to the public from 23:00 to 4:00 hours. During this time, only employees and passengers are allowed access (in the two hours prior to the scheduled departure of their flight).” So if you’re thinking “I’ll just go early spend the night and wait at the airport,” you might want to rethink that plan.

Very easy to navigate, lots of shops if you want them, chill out area or bars too. We needed to charge devices and they had access to hundreds, not just the charging points towers but everywhere, lots of seats, all on one level for easy access and a clear view of everything taking off for the kids to watch.

Tenerife South Airport was extremely distressing and completely ruined the end of my holiday. Yesterday, 16.11.2025, at around 10:07 am, I had one of the worst airport experiences of my life. I suffer from anxiety, and I ended up having a full panic attack at the airport, my hands were shaking, I couldn’t catch my breath, I was crying, and I felt completely overwhelmed. My sister was also crying because we didn’t know what to do. In 2023, before flying to Tenerife, I asked Ryanair staff at Stansted Airport if I could check in a 40kg bag. They confirmed it was allowed, everything went smoothly, and I even have a photo from that trip showing the exact same suitcase with a “heavy” sticker on it. I made sure to ask as I didn’t want to waste money on check-in baggage and I wanted to follow the correct procedure. However, in 2025, at Tenerife South Airport, I was suddenly told that checking in 40kg “was not possible” and that the maximum was 32kg, even though I had paid for 40kg again. I showed proof from 2023: photos, flight details, and the weight allowance but the staff at Azul Handling (Ryanair customer service) kept repeating the same sentence: “It’s not possible. Maximum 32kg,” without actually explaining anything or trying to help. The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. Even though I was visibly having a panic attack, crying, shaking, and struggling to breathe, they didn’t offer any support or patience. I felt like they didn’t want to help me or my sister at all. I felt like they were ignoring us and speaking over us. When the lady called her supervisor, she didn’t let me speak to her and gave her information that didn’t match what I had actually said. She spoke in Spanish, and I could understand that what she was saying wasn’t accurate. At one point, I was told something that felt really disrespectful while I was already shaking and crying: “You can move 8 kilos to a trash bag if you buy priority.” I couldn’t believe I was being told to repack my belongings into a trash bag. There was no information online, nothing on the Ryanair website, and nothing at the airport that mentioned any maximum of 32kg, especially considering I had already flown with 40kg once from this exact airport. In the end, I felt completely helpless and had no choice but to throw away around 5–6kg of valuable items and souvenirs. I managed to bring the suitcase down to 34kg, but at the check-in desk I was told again: “It has to be 32kg exactly.” While me and my sister were desperately trying to move 2 more kilos into my small bag, I overheard three Ryanair employees talking about us at desks 202–204, saying in Spanish: “It’s those girls with 40kg.” “Be careful; make sure their bag is exactly 32kg and not even 100g more.” They were laughing as they said it, and it was humiliating to hear, especially while crying and trying to get my breathing under control. I left the airport feeling completely helpless, with my holiday ruined. As someone who once lived in Tenerife and loves this island, this experience was extremely upsetting. My holiday ended with unnecessary stress that triggered anxiety, panic, and tears. Long queues for check-in, security, and passport control only added to the stress, and throughout the airport I saw several staff raising their voices at passengers. I’m sharing this experience so other travellers, especially those who struggle with anxiety, are aware of what can happen and can prepare themselves better. I will also attach the photos I took of the staff involved so people know exactly who I interacted with.

We arrived at 9:30 AM, and by 9:37 AM, we had already passed through security. In total, it took about 7-10 minutes, which is quite fast. The airport was about 50% full, which makes sense as it’s not the peak of the tourist season. Still, there were plenty of travelers around. Security check was quick and professional, even though the equipment isn’t the newest. The airport itself isn’t huge, but since it’s an international hub, it offers flights to the US and other destinations, making it fairly large in terms of operations. There are a few duty-free shops—not too many, but enough. Prices are reasonable. You’ll also find a Burger King, which is a good option for a quick meal. There are some clothing stores, but nothing too high-end—mostly casual brands. Seating is plentiful, and there are charging stations for phones. Vending machines are available for drinks and snacks. However, there are no horizontal escalators and no smoking rooms—not even for e-cigarettes or IQOS users. The bathrooms are clean, though in one of them, the soap dispensers weren’t working, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the airport is well-maintained, clean, and functional. It’s not the most luxurious, but for its size, it’s efficient and comfortable. 📌 Rating: 8/10 – A solid experience with some small areas for improvement.

Worst airport ever. It can easily ruin your trip. The staff cannot answer simple questions, they rather misguide you. No one knows english. Don’t recommend. It may be the reason to not go to Tenerife.

Travelled many times to and from Tenerife South and never had any issues. Staff in the main are very friendly, you get the occasional difficult one because they are wearing a uniform. Transfers are always very easy and check in has always been easy.

Nice airport but the immigration queue even though it was quite small, took too long. More staff needed and more machines working would have been nice. Still we are through and have had wine and food so all is well!

Tenerife North Airport

International airport
Airport
Tenerife North Airport is a small airport serving the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. Despite its size, it offers a comfortable experience with loungers and charging stations. The terminal is conveniently located near rental car companies, and there are dining options such as a 3-course meal for 11.95 or Burger King. The airport is nestled in the mountains, providing beautiful views during arrival and featuring an interesting runway layout.
Very nice and comfortable local airport Well organized and clean Thanks a lot !

It's a good airport, a bit small but working well. I don't give 5 stars as it's clearly underdeveloped and the services are of lower level compared to the South airport which I believe is because richer tourists visit the South airport and they focus on them.
Stan — Google review
Tenerife North Airport is, in general, a well-functioning and efficiently managed regional airport that serves as a key gateway to the island’s northern region. The facilities are clean, signage is clear, and the overall passenger flow is relatively smooth, especially considering the airport’s size and volume of traffic. That said, I would suggest a few areas for improvement that could greatly enhance the experience for international travelers. Firstly, the public transportation connectivity to Santa Cruz de Tenerife could be more robust and convenient. While taxis and buses are available, a more direct and frequent link—perhaps a shuttle or extended tram service—would be highly beneficial. During my visit, my flight was delayed due to heavy fog, which, I was told, is a common occurrence at this airport given its location and weather conditions. While this is understandable from an operational safety standpoint, it would be helpful if there were more real-time communication and updates provided to passengers during these delays. Additionally, I noticed a lack of USB charging ports in the waiting areas, something that is increasingly expected by today’s international travelers. Especially for those with long layovers or delays, the ability to charge devices is essential and would be a small but meaningful improvement. In summary, Tenerife North Airport offers a solid travel experience, but a few thoughtful upgrades could bring it in line with modern global standards.

Small airport but well organized and maintained. Arrivals: The bags were already rolling in the pickup area by the time we made our way from the plane inside. The car rental desks are next to the bag pickup lanes. Ciscar seems to be the most popular (based on the size of line). Book Europcar if you're in a hurry. The cars are parked right outside, down one floor. The bus station is right outside as well, down one floor. Departures: Checking is at the entrance, up one floor. There are about 30 stands, all in one line. Security gates are in the middle, between the checking stands. Rental car drop-offs are the same parking spots where picked up. Keys can be handed over in the parking area. There is no need to go back inside.

Gets a bit of a bad rep this place as it’s a small airport. Yes it’s small but it’s probably the comfiest free airport I’ve been to and that’s a lot of airports! Lovely lounger chairs upstairs with charging stations aswell as sofas! You can get a “menu del dia” 3 course meal for €11.95 up the stairs or a Burger King. There is plenty of small coffee shops dotted about but I found these a little pricey. But all in all a great experience in the Noryh airport. Some great views also

Im a traveler who has been all over the world. This airport has the most disgusting bathrooms, not just out of any airport, but out of anywhere on planet earth that i’ve ever been in my entire life. Out of hundreds of thousands of bathrooms in the world, this airport manages to have the most disgusting, which is concerning because the actual airport isn’t that bad.
