Pintô Art Museum

Art Galleries
Pintô Art Museum, located in Antipolo City, is a captivating space that showcases contemporary and native Filipino art. The museum's mission-style buildings are surrounded by lush gardens, providing a tranquil setting for visitors to explore the extensive art collection. Established in 2010 as an extension of the creative sanctuary curated by founder Dr. Joven Cuanang, the museum features rotating exhibitions from renowned artists such as Elmer Borlongan and Rodel Tapaya.
I had the chance to visit Pinto Art Museum back in 2022, and it was truly a memorable and worthwhile experience. As a student, I was able to avail of a discounted entrance fee, which made the visit even more budget-friendly. During that time, the pandemic was still ongoing, so the crowd was minimal—there were probably only around ten guests during my entire visit, which gave the whole place an unusually serene and intimate atmosphere. The museum itself is impressively vast, with multiple galleries spread across a beautiful, open space filled with greenery and architectural charm. The artworks on display were diverse and visually captivating, each piece offering a unique perspective, from modern expressions to cultural reflections. While most of the museum felt calm and aesthetic, I have to admit that a few installations gave off an eerie or unsettling vibe. Perhaps it was the stillness of the place at the time, but it added an intriguing layer to the experience. Despite that, the visit was incredibly enjoyable. The combination of art, nature, and peaceful surroundings made it a refreshing escape from city life. Pinto Art Museum is definitely a must-visit destination for art lovers, photography enthusiasts, or anyone simply looking for a tranquil and inspiring spot in Antipolo.

We had such an enjoyable visit to the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo when visited the Philippines —it’s the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, where every gallery flows into lush gardens, courtyards, and peaceful corners to pause and take it all in. The Mediterranean-inspired buildings and open-air design made the whole experience feel serene, and the art itself was both thought-provoking and deeply Filipino in character. We loved wandering through the different exhibits, discovering surprises in each room, and then stepping outside to take in the beautiful grounds. It’s not just a museum—it feels like a retreat, and we left inspired, refreshed, and already talking about coming back.

Visited Pinto Art Museum and it was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The art collection was stunning, with a mix of contemporary pieces and thought-provoking installations. Every corner felt like a photo spot — surrounded by lush gardens, whitewashed walls, and open spaces that make the whole place feel serene. It’s the perfect mix of art, nature, and quiet moments, ideal for a weekend escape from the city. Best to go early to avoid the crowds and enjoy the calm atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — art for the soul and scenery for the heart. definitely worth the trip. 🌿✨

The no BS review. Price: 5/5 - 300 regular rate for adults and 150 for students. I can say that the price is definitely worth it. They have 7 galleries and other attractions. I honestly think they can ask for more considering how well maintained the place is. Atmosphere: 10/5 - I was never an art-lover but I think Pinto Art museum gave me a whole new perspective on the subject. It was immaculate. I don't want to give more details because I think you will only know or feel it once you do go to the museum. The place will require a bit of walking. It has a combination of both indoor and outdoor so bring an extra shirt or towel to wipe off the sweat. If you go there in the afternoon or on a hot day, they do have a strategically positioned cafe before entering gallery 4-7 to get refreshments. We spent 4 to 5hrs walking around and enjoying the art pieces. I really enjoyed it and 100% recommend Pinto Art Museum to every one including those who are not so.... artsy.
Carl C — Google review
Three things to keep in mind before visiting: 1. The exhibits are extensive, so expect to spend 2–3 hours if you want to see everything. 2. It can get quite hot inside, so bringing a portable fan is highly recommended. 3. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so insect repellent will come in handy. The museum features a fascinating range of works you won’t usually encounter in traditional galleries—satirical pieces, darker themes, mature art, and thought-provoking installations. On top of that, the museum itself is a beautiful structure and absolutely photogenic!!
Kana M — Google review
One day isn’t enough to explore the whole place — it’s really huge! I suggest wearing light clothes, especially during summer, since it can get quite hot and most galleries aren’t air-conditioned. Also, bring extra money in case you want to buy some art souvenirs to take home — there are plenty of unique pieces worth checking out!

Pinto opens the mind's eye to a realm distinct from the waking world. It's like walking in a dream... a wonderland of delight, of terror... of light, of horror. As one ascends and descends the steps and passes through the galleries, one hopes the traveler discovers insights about society, nature, and reflections of the soul. It's a transcendent experience..
Chewy C — Google review
Really enjoyed going here. 🩷 I loved the art and the blend of architecture and nature. I recommend bringing a fan, tissue and probably wet ones just to freshen up after walking, because it's kinda hot. Highly recommend going there.

Hinulugang Taktak

Mentioned on
22 lists
Hinulugang Taktak is a picturesque protected landscape in Antipolo Rizal, known for its namesake waterfall. The name originates from a large bell that was thrown into the falls due to its loudness. It has become a popular tourist spot with beautiful surroundings and free entrance on Sundays. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as crossing hanging rope bridges, navigating a spider's web, and wall climbing while wearing helmets and using repels.
Hinulugang Taktak is a historical waterfall and a popular local destination known for its natural beauty and cultural significance. The falls are surrounded by a lush park that offers picnic areas, viewing decks, and walking paths, providing visitors with a scenic and relaxing environment. Recent restoration efforts have improved the cleanliness and accessibility of the area, making it a great spot for families, friends, and tourists to enjoy a day out in nature. While swimming in the falls is not currently allowed, the site remains a beloved landmark with its iconic cascade and a great spot for a quick escape from the city to reconnect with nature.
Tyler S — Google review
Nice view, but not much else going on. This place has a few rock climbing areas, spider walks, rope bridges, picnic areas, and a shrine. This place has a lot of potential, but of course, there is virtually NO maintenance or upkeep on this park. If this is privately owned, then they should charge admission so the park can be maintained properly. The same goes for if this is owned by the city. Much of the park was "under maintenance," yet there were no workers around, and a simple rope was tied, preventing admittance. Bring your own food since there are no cafes or snack shops on site. In short, it's nice that it's free, but this place needs maintenance or renovations.
R B — Google review
Hinulugang Taktak Falls is a national park of Brgy. Dela Paz, Antipolo, Rizal. This national park has frequent visitors throughout the weekend. There is a P45 charge for the parking fee, and the rest is free. Canopy Walk is a view deck from the tree connected by the hanging bridge but is under maintenance as of my visit last Dec 8, 2024. There is a steel spider Web similar to the Masungi Georeserve, where the visitors by cross the cobweb only to take selfie and group photos 20 meters above the side of the taktak falls. There is a rappelling activity on the other side near the walled gate of the park. I got abrasions in the knee due to the use of regular rubber shoes, where spiky shoes are recommended since the part of the ledge is slippery due to the moss. There is a wall climbing activity beside the Taktak Falls, and beside the wall climb is the old elevator shaft still operational. Since Antipolo is a Highland, the central park is 20 meters below, where you need to go down the stairs. The central park is wide, but be wary of the foul odour emitted by the Hinulugang Taktak Falls as the river beneath the Falls is bubbly, indicating that the water is highly polluted. There were gazebos on the other side of the river for group resting place. The swimming pool is available, but under maintenance as of my visit on Dec 8, 2024.

The best place to bring your family to enjoy nature and the amenities. A lot of activities you can try. Bring extra clothes as you will do these activities under the scorching sun.
Kayla G — Google review
The place is very good for a family bonding and family adventure but not for the family's picnic because the water has a smell. The personnel are very nice and very respectful and they will treat you really well. The parking lot is somewhat ok, and you will pay for 20 for a motorcycle. I just visited there today, March 25, 2023.
Paul B — Google review
Very nice having free entrance today Sunday don't know if it was just special day or if every Sunday free cos most of week there 50 peso fee You have to show id and sign in at entrance having hanging rope bridge course a spider's web and wall climbing needing to wear helmets and repels Nice clean waterfall well maintained grounds There's a elevator to the river ground floor so easy access for disabled There's few bridges crossing to picnic nipa huts And there's toilets and swimming pool at the far end Large parking at front of entrance gate and a few venders selling snacks drinks didn't see any inside so bring your own food and take home your rubbish came here 15 years ago waterfall was full of rubbish and smelly but now great improvement 👍👍👍 recommend Very busy Sunday maybe because free entrance
Iain S — Google review
Although it is no longer allowed to swim in the falls itself, there's a swimming pool near it where families can enjoy and have fun. There are other activities as well like canopy walk, rappelling and the likes.

HONEST REVIEW FOR HINULUGANG TAKTAK 9/10 Scenery - You will really feel the nature. Full of greenery and trees. The falls is majestic. Would give a perfect score however the smell of the waterfalls is not good. 1/10 Parking - No designated parking. However for commuters, there is a tricycle toda in front of the entrance. 4/10 Picnic Area - Very Very limited tables. You can bring your food inside but that doesn't give you 100% assurance that you will have a table. If you want to secure one I suggest you go after opening hours. 4/10 Swimming Area - The pool is refreshing however the visitors are too much especially in weekends and holidays. You will not enjoy that much beating the heat in a pool with 150 people in it. 5/10 Service - Queue line in the entrance takes too long, you need to manually write your name in their registration form and provide an ID. The staffs really sont do anything instead of look at your ID. This makes the queur time konger because of confused visitors. There are no shops inside, so i suggest you buy your food and drinks before coming. OVERALL SCORE 4/10 : Good for first time goers alwho wants to see the waterfall, however, i don't recommend this place for leisure.

Antipolo Cathedral

Mentioned on

Catholic cathedral
Sights & Landmarks
Antipolo Cathedral houses a 17th-century wooden statue of the Virgin Mary which attracts pilgrims. It is a popular destination for those who seek to have their vehicles blessed, with ample space to accommodate parishioners even during the pandemic. The church also offers rosaries in their shop and requires registration and a receipt for vehicle blessings, which take place at 7:30 AM. Overall, Antipolo Cathedral is a good location with a nice atmosphere for worship and devotion.
I visited Antipolo Cathedral, one of the local attractions in Antipolo, Philippines. Thanks to my visit during Holy Week in May, I was able to witness the parade firsthand. This parade takes place annually on May 1st and during Holy Week, with numerous faithful walking approximately 30km from Quiapo Church in Manila to Antipolo Cathedral. The event begins the night before and continues into the dawn mass. During Holy Week, pilgrims walk to the cathedral from Thursday evening until Friday dawn, which is said to represent participation in Jesus's suffering. The duration of the parade varies depending on the starting point and individual pace, but it generally takes about 6 to 8 hours. Particularly during the May 1st 'Alay Lakad,' millions of pilgrims participate, and during Holy Week as well, countless faithful join the walking pilgrimage. This large-scale event has established itself as a symbolic occasion that demonstrates the deep roots of Filipino Catholic faith and the solidarity of the community. The parade at Antipolo Cathedral was a special experience that went beyond a simple religious event, allowing one to experience faith, tradition, and community solidarity. The inspiration and awe I felt during participation will likely remain in my memory for a long time.

We went as a family for mass and car blessing. There was available parking inside the church premises. The church main hall is spacious and well ventilated with dome shaped roof. Daily masses are done in hourly basis in Tagalog language. There is a restroom and resting lounge beside the church near the office. It was the most cleanest and looks very fancy for a washroom/toilet, far more better than most malls in Metro Manila!

The Antipolo Cathedral, officially recognized as the Philippines’ International Shrine, is a truly meaningful and sacred destination. It offers a serene and solemn atmosphere ideal for prayer, reflection, and devotion. The recent improvements to the facilities are also commendable. The newly renovated comfort room is clean, well-maintained, and pleasantly fragrant, providing added comfort for all visitors. Whether you are a pilgrim, a tourist, or a local parishioner, a visit to this historic and spiritual site is always a worthwhile experience.

I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting at this cathedral. It’s an interesting mixture of old and new, with more new than old. Somehow it works. I don’t know why, but it does. I thought it was interesting that there is plenty of space for people to watch Mass outside, including an ancient Jumbotron. Such, I suppose, it is the devotion of Filipino Catholics. I look forward to visiting this place again in my next trip to the Philippines, as it’s not very far from our house there.

I visited Antipolo Cathedral during my first long motorcycle ride—a memorable milestone for me. This is where I bought a rosary specifically for my motorcycle and had it blessed, hoping it would bring me road safety and guidance on all my future journeys. The cathedral is best known as the home of the 17th-century image of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage (Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje). Devotees from all over the country, especially travelers, visit the shrine to offer prayers and seek blessings before long trips. The tradition dates back to the Spanish colonial era when Filipino sailors and migrants would pray here before departing for Mexico through the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade. Even today, the practice of alay-lakad (offering walk) remains strong—many pilgrims walk from Manila to Antipolo as an act of devotion, especially during Holy Week or May, the month of the Virgin Mary. Antipolo Cathedral isn’t just a religious landmark; it’s also a symbol of protection and guidance for travelers like myself. The place is vibrant with faith, and visiting it added both spiritual meaning and emotional depth to my motorcycle journey.

Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage (Spanish: Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje) or also known as Our Lady of Antipolo, is a 17th-century wooden Roman Catholic statue. The black Madonna is enshrined in the Antipolo Cathedral. The Antipolo Cathedral in the Philippines was also declared the first international shrine in the Philippines and Asia. (Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage) This shows that Catholicism was introduced in the Philippines about 500 years ago and that the faith has deeply penetrated the culture, thought, heart, and history of the Filipino people. This place is famous for its 17th-century wooden statue of the Virgin Mary, which attracts pilgrims from all over the world. The wooden statue was brought to the country in 1626 by Mexican Governor Juan Niño de Tabora on the El Almirante galleon. His safe voyage across the Pacific is attributed to this image, which was given the title "Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage." This was later proven by the other six consecutive and successful voyages of the Manila-Acapulco galleon, which led to the belief that the safe voyage was made because of statue. The Black Jesus statue, entrusted to an unknown priest in 1606, was also carried across the Pacific on a galleon that arrived in Manila and was brought to the Philippines, where it is currently housed in the Quiapo Cathedral. The Black Jesus statue, which came from Mexico, is a statue of Jesus Christ kneeling on one knee and holding a large wooden cross, and his skin is depicted in black. It is thought that the black appearance of Christ reflects the culture of the Mexican indigenous people. It is also known as the Black Nazarene. The wooden Virgin Mary in the Antipolo Cathedral is also depicted in black. The Manila Galleon was a Spanish sailing ship that sailed annually (once a year) across the Pacific Ocean between Manila, Philippines and Acapulco, Mexico between 1565 and 1815. It also refers to the trade route between Manila and Acapulco itself. The ship was the only means of communication between Spain and its Philippine colonies, and served as an economic lifeline for the Spanish in Manila. The Spanish in Manila became so dependent on the annual ships that when the ships sank at sea or were captured by British pirates, the colony suffered economic depression. The Manila Galleon was not only a very important means of communication between Spain and the Philippines, but also had a significant economic impact. During the heyday of the galleon trade, Manila became one of the world's largest ports, serving as a hub for trade between China and Europe. Chinese silk was the most important cargo, but other exotic goods such as perfume, porcelain, cotton (from India), and jewelry were also transshipped on the galleons. After unloading in Acapulco, the cargo usually made a profit of 100-300%. On the return voyage, the ship brought back to the Philippines a huge amount of Mexican silver and Spanish correspondence. The Manila galleons were mainly loaded with Chinese goods shipped from Manila. The Manila galleon route was an early example of globalization, representing a trade route from Asia to the Americas, which connected the continents and created a global silver trade. In 2015, the Philippines and Mexico, with support from Spain, began preparations to list the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade Route as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Spain also proposed that the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Archives be listed by three countries in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Pope Pius XI issued an Apostolic Constitution in 1925 crowning the image. This statue is one of the most famous images of Mary in the Philippines. Every year from May to July, the image attracts millions of pilgrims from all over the Philippines and abroad. Its feast day is the first Tuesday of May. There is also a story about how the Virgin Mary chose the place where she wanted to build her church. It is said that the Virgin Mary appeared to the Tipolo tree in Antipolo and that is how the Antipolo Cathedral was built.

Nestled in the enchanting hills of Antipolo, Philippines, Mystical Cave is a mesmerizing natural wonder that beckons adventurers and spiritual seekers alike. This captivating cave showcases an array of stunning limestone formations, including impressive stalactites and stalagmites that create a breathtaking underground landscape. Visitors are often drawn to its serene ambiance and the legends surrounding it—tales of mystical images resembling religious figures like Jesus and Mary have added to its allure.
An excellent place to visit! While the walk to the main entrance of the cave can be challenging, the experience inside is truly rewarding and satisfying.
Marlon's A — Google review
Tucked away in a very remote village, the Mystical Cave is quite a site to behold. If you are travelling by motorcycle, the road leading to is very precarious and so it's better to park at the juncture of where the cement factory entrance and beginning of the village starts, then take a tricycle (about 100 pesos) to the actual cave site. Inside the cave there are lots of bats and you can hear them echo locate constantly overhead. If you're afraid of bats, be aware. Inside the cave is, as the name implies, "mystical". It is lit with a string of lights but it is still recommended to bring your own flashlight. Many strange outer-worldly looking rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites strewn the interior of the cave and it goes quite deep. For the more adventuresome, there are a few tunnels that are quite horrifying looking. Definitely an unsettling feeling, but if you're an experienced caver, you'll probably be right at home. The random locals will try to push "tours" and unofficial "entrance fees" onto you. But you're better off just doing your own exploration. About 1.5 hours drive from Makati.
Forty F — Google review
Mystical Cave is perfect for anyone looking for a bit of adventure — with a short trek and an underground cave exploration. As someone who enjoys a challenge, I tried both! First, there's a 20–30 minute uphill trek (depending on your pace). It’s a bit tiring, but refreshing. At the top, you’ll get to enjoy beautiful mountain views — a nice reward before heading back down. After that, we started the Mystical Cave tour. The inside of the cave is cool and quiet, and our guide shared interesting stories about its history and natural formation. After about 30–45 minutes, you’ll reach the end of the main path, where you can see beautiful stalagmite formations that almost look like natural crystals — really amazing to see up close. But if you're up for more adventure, there's a lower section of the cave that's more challenging. The path gets steep, and the man-made ladder there isn’t very sturdy, so be extra careful. It’s also dark, so a flashlight is a must. I made it through, but it wasn’t easy! You’ll need to crawl or slide through tight openings, and even “dive” into narrow parts — it's not for the faint of heart. Overall, it was a fun and challenging experience — definitely worth it if you’re into nature and adventure. 🗺️ Commute Guide: From LRT-2, transfer to an e-trike, jeep, or e-bus going to Antipolo. From Antipolo proper, take a tricycle to Mystical Cave. -If you're in a group (4 pax), it's around ₱50 per person. -If you're alone, expect to pay for a special trip (higher fare).
Alexis — Google review
It's undeniably beautiful with its amazing rock formations (and stories as well as meanings behind it) and sparkling crystals! However, for me who's not that adventurous, the steep paths and heights make it difficult for me. The upper cave area is stunning, but getting to the lower part requires going narrow passages. While breathtaking, this cave may not be suitable for everyone due to the challenging terrain.
Veronica G — Google review
Totally worth the inexpensive entrance fee of ₽50 per person. The caves are full of stalactites and stalagmites dripping water from the ceiling. Various rock formations and intriguing lime deposits shows mystical figures. There’s a face of Jesus, resting Jesus, Mary and child, and the Holy Spirit - all in the limestone.
Srini — Google review
Who would have thought that there is a cave in Antipolo just an hour and a half drive from Metro Manila. The view on the peak is beautiful although you have to climb a lot of stairs. Be careful as there are green molds in every staircase which make them slippery. There are cottages where you can eat your snacks. There is an entrance fee but no parking area. Just leave your car along the road. The road going here is not cemented so be ready for a rough road drive. There is no public transportation going here as it is comparable to a hidden place, you will not find neighborhood within the compound.
Evita D — Google review
The cavern is quiet large. Many interesting rock formations. Some unfortunately damaged. There is some light inside but not efficient so it is better to bring your own torch. To reach the entrance you have to climb 150 m up from the road. The entrance fee is 50 PHP per person. One may follow up the path up (300 m) to reach viewpoint with a cross.
Anna K — Google review
Interesting cave attraction near Metro Manila. There is the basic tour and an advanced tour in which you need caving equipment. We just availed of the basic tour. Most of the rock formations in the cave are religious depictions. The tour guide was helpful, explaining well and also taking our group shots. Since we didn't have time to climb up to the white cross, I just used a drone to capture the beautiful views at the top.

Very lousy customer service 👎👎👎 I called up their landline +63285843199 on Oct 30 around 9:30AM and a certain May answered the phone. I clarified about the location, landmark, operating hours and cost considering that it would be 8 persons who were going to visit the Casa Santa. She was excited to tell me this: Ma'am, tamang-tama meron kaming promo ngayon for the entrance fee: 5 pax + 1 free. I responded to her: Oh great! Pupunta kami dyan mamaya. 1st time namin at mangagaling pa kami ng Taguig City. After getting all the aforementioned details, we decided to go to Casa Santa, Rizal. We arrived there past 3PM and we looked for their Admin Office. We had a hard time looking for their office where we could pay for the entrance fee. Finally, we tried knocking on one of the doors there and staff Beverly spoke to us. She told us that the promo 5+ 1 ended and no longer valid. We got very disapppointed when we heard it from her. We still insisted on the promo info provided to us earlier and told her that we travelled all the way from Manila. Despite the major inconvenience this had caused us, Beverly told us that they could not give us the promo, only the regular fee. What made the situation worst, she was not apologetic at all and even reasoned out that the staff who answered the phone was not privy to the details. As if the staff was not part of the company she's working for. She was inconsiderate and insensitive! 😔😡

Staff is charging us 1,800. They said it was the minimum charge good for 10pax. We didn't go inside. It's just too much. We were only 2 people. I don't think 1,800 is worth it.

A good serene place to celebrate occasion or life with friends and family. It's a cafe with pottery shop. It has both indoor and outdoor dining with mini playground for kids and big pond with big fishes that you can feed (feed available for sale at 200 pesos per bag) Food selection is interesting but vegetarians will be very happy in this place. There are also duck, beef, seafood in the menu. Suman and turn are the highlights on the dessert menu and they also sell Carmen's Best for ice cream.

Should have really enjoyed al fresco dining if not for the flies that keeps coming. No wonder guests would later request to transfer indoor. Please do something about this for hygiene's sake.

I would like to rate this restaurant a 4.5 out of 5 stars. We had a delightful experience dining at their establishment. Every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious, and I highly recommend trying their laing. The ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasant, and children would particularly enjoy the pond area with its many koi fish. I would advise making a reservation in advance, as this place tends to be quite busy. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. One suggestion for improvement would be to add more fans, as it can get quite warm during certain times of the day. Despite this minor inconvenience, we were very satisfied with our visit and look forward to returning in the future. The restaurant has ample parking space, but it can still be challenging to find a spot during special occasions such as Mother's Day. Please keep this in mind when planning your visit.

Service was great, food is great and the ambiance was also really nice. The entrance was unassuming but the whole place is a vibe. Some of its menu items are the Filipino versions of well-loved international dishes such as pani puri and samgyupsal (up to you to discover which hahah). Fell in love with the burong adlai, the fresh lumpia, and the 12-spice chicken. The gado-gado was also very simple, but lovely. The personnel were helpful and were really kind. Recommended!

I was really disappointed with their Easter egg hunt event. My kids were eagerly looking forward to it, and I registered and made a deposit a week in advance, which they confirmed. Their promotional post mentioned activities such as an Easter egg hunt, games, chocolates, candies, and loot bags. Unfortunately, we arrived 10 minutes late due to a navigation error from Google Maps and missed the first event, the egg hunt. The second activity was the pabitin game, but it was chaotic because there were so many parents crowded in the playground. It would have been better if they had only allowed the kids and had a few organizers or guides present. As a result, my kids couldn't even get anything from the pabitin, as the parents were helping their children too much. After that, my kids and I decided to eat at their restaurant, but I don't recommend the shanghai as it was too salty. While we were at the table, an organizer approached us and gave my kids six jelly ace and two chocolates, which was a nice gesture. I tried to ask the organizers about the loot bags for my kids, as their names were on the list, but to my surprise, they no longer had them. Instead, they gave us sticky rice (suman), which my kids don’t eat, and I was hoping for more kid-friendly options. We certainly didn’t pay and pre-register for suman. Overall, I was very disappointed. They should prioritize those who paid in advance, especially since we traveled a long way only to be let down. I wouldn’t recommend this event.

We were so glad that we tried their pottery class. The instructor was very accommodating to her students and would really guide you well in creating your pot. Our instructor also showed us the work area and i was impressed with the pottery work of every employee. You will receive your work after 2 weeks which they will send to your home(PS: you will shoulder the costs). Overall the pottery was a great experience, but I was disappointed when our lunch table reservation request was not recorded.

Great dining experience especially at night. View of Manila skyline is priceless. Food is also great at reasonable prices. Thumbs up for using bamboo straws for their drinks.

The food is nice, it's just that most of the meals on the menu are not available. There are numerous slope parking spaces. Depending on the traffic, it is less than an hour drive from Metro Manila. There is a pool for display. They serve liquors any time of the day. Aside from foods and drinks, they also sell goodies.

Never ever go here as I have experienced the longest waiting time to get drinks and food. Had to wait for a very long time for a bottled water and they have no service water at all!!! Also price is very expensive for food that are so bad especially the salty Pancit.even better to go to carinderia and not pay for 400 pesos of pancit

Masungi Georeserve, a 1,600-hectare conservation area located in Baras, Rizal, offers guided trails and ropes courses through its protected rainforest preserve. Managed by passionate groups and individuals, the georeserve aims to promote sustainable geotourism and educate visitors about conservation. Nestled within lush rainforests and limestone formations on the southern part of the Sierra Madre mountain range, it has become a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a unique experience.
Masungi Georeserve Hike – A Magical Escape into Nature Masungi Georeserve is hands-down one of the most breathtaking hiking experiences I’ve ever had in the Philippines. From the moment we entered the reserve, we were immersed in a lush, limestone-rich landscape that felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. The trail was well-guided and thoughtfully designed—not too easy, not too hard—perfect for nature lovers looking for a bit of adventure. The highlights? Definitely the Sapot, a giant web-like viewing platform with a jaw-dropping view of the Sierra Madre mountain range. Then there’s Ditse, Patak, at Duyan, where you walk on hanging bridges and giant hammocks suspended over limestone formations—super thrilling and Instagram-worthy! Our park ranger was knowledgeable and passionate about conservation, which added so much meaning to the experience. Masungi isn’t just a hike—it’s a lesson in environmental stewardship, local flora and fauna, and sustainable tourism. If you’re looking to disconnect from city stress and reconnect with nature, I highly recommend visiting Masungi. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and deeply inspiring.

A truly immersive experience awaits those in search of a tranquil sanctuary, far removed from the relentless hustle and bustle of a polluted city below. As you set off on the hike towards one of the renowned peaks, you are enveloped by an enchanting atmosphere filled with calm and serenity. The gentle rustle of leaves and the soft chirping of birds accompany your journey, creating a soothing symphony of nature that’s both meditative and revitalizing. Each step you take clears your mind, allowing you to reconnect not only with the vibrant surroundings but also with your own senses. This hike transcends the mere idea of adventure; it transforms into a journey of soulful healing and introspection. Upon reaching the majestic spider web, you are spellbound by the breathtaking beauty of Mother Nature, often overlooked in our daily grind. The gentle caress of the wind, the warm embrace of sunlight that kisses your skin, and the invigorating scent of fresh earth and foliage all converge to revitalize your spirit. This awe-inspiring moment leaves you with a profound appreciation for the intricate wonders that the natural world bestows upon us. I am eagerly looking forward to returning, eager to make this stunning landscape my weekend retreat or holiday escape. Until we meet again!

We went hiking here for my cousin’s girlfriend’s birthday— and it was a wonderful experience. You could see how passionate the staff were there in preserving the place’s geographical health and habitat for the animals that resides in Masungi. The guide that was assigned to us was very friendly; she knew the ins and outs of the place and was accommodating in assisting us in taking photos. I’ve heard that there was a recent controversy around the place but as far as I can tell, the people that runs the georeserve were genuine in taking good care of the place WHICH IS A PLUS !! Anyways, I highly recommend for everyone to visit if you want an easy and fun way to reconnect with nature. Don’t expect a ordinary hike though, since there’ll be a lot of gimmicky obstacles a long the way— regardless, a fun experience still.

We were here as part of a group trip. It took time to enter. We waited for 30 minutes in the bus before the tour started. Our group was divided to smaller groups and assigned a guide. The tour was informative and exhilarating. There was some trouble with the food which I hope the management can handle better.

The Discovery Trail was a truly immersive experience with nature not far away, just one hour, from Metro Manila. It emphasizes the important conservation work that local volunteers do to maintain the forests and also encourages conversations around ensuring sustainability by being one with nature and having the belief that we all are just visitors so we should have respect for the next one that comes after us. I personally found the hike to be challenging, although it was being marketed as beginner-friendly, because some parts of the trail could get very narrow and you really have to have the strength to hold on to the trees, handles, or ropes. That being said, the local ranger is helpful and offers alternative routes if the group finds it too challenging. If I were to suggest anything, that would be to provide a waiting area for guests — we were told online that we should arrive 15 minutes early; we did, but when we were there, they wouldn’t allow us to enter. What were we supposed to do in the parking lot? Also, there should be more cubicles for changing clothes after the trail. Other than those, visiting Masungi is a very good experience

Six months after my visit, I can confidently say that Masungi Georeserve changed my life. I'm not exaggerating or using hyperbole at all here. I used to always think of myself as a cowardly person. I wasn't even necessarily ashamed of it; it was just something about me. I was the one who chickened out of roller coasters, was scared of heights, scared of bugs, scared of lots of harmless things. At Masungi, I was faced with a choice. Take the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on the other side of the globe from where I live to do something amazing and unlike anything I'd ever done before, seeing some of the most beautiful sights on earth, or chicken out as I always did and regret it forever. And it was so beautiful there, and our guide was so kind and knowledgeable and inspired so much confidence, that I found, to my surprise, that I was able to do it—the whole course, never taking the easy option. Suspended hundreds of feet over the ground, looking out at the gorgeous vista with my family, full of adrenaline and endorphins and amazement, I almost couldn't believe that I'd done it. My husband of 14 years was shocked because it was so out of character. And it was so incredibly worth it. It was a unique, beautiful, exhilarating, unforgettable experience, and one that I will treasure always. Perhaps best of all, the experience opened my eyes to the fact that I didn't have to accept being cowardly as an inherent personality trait. I could be brave if I wanted to! It's been extending to so many other things in my life since then, and it turns out that life is easier when you're not held back by irrational fears. It feels very odd but exciting. Thank you, Masungi Georeserve, for preserving nature with such care and passion, for sharing that passion with others, and for changing my life.

We took a private Sunrise Trail and it was an amazing experience! We did the longer Discovery Trail a few years ago and wanted to try something different this time coz we had a kid in the group younger than 13 y.o. The Sunrise Trail is a a hike on the limestones but has cemented pathways/stairs all the way through, going up is 600 steps. We got there early but the weather was not inclement so we waited for the rain to let up a bit. Our tourism officer, Marjun, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had helmets on for the tricky cave-like sections of the trail. It's quite a steep ascent but the view from above was stunning! After the hike, we were handed ice-cold towels (badly needed!) and bowls of delish arroz caldo and tea and coffee. Wonderful experience and a must for every outdoor enthusiasts. We learn about flora and fauna and the georeserve's mission. Always happy to support good causes!

Food - personally not worth the price if food was the basis alone. Yes, the plating is beautiful but not the best. Beef was really though and rubbery, plus they are out of stock on a lot of things. Tuna, pork belly, kids chicken, kids pasta and even the cheeseburger doesn't have cheese. How can you possibly run out of stock of pork belly in the pork belly capital of the world, Philippines? For the price, you can get something more and tastier at let's say Manam. Excellent starters but the mains were very forgettable. Service - really bad slow, as you can see on the Pic, we reserved and came at 5pm. We were seated at 515pm, and the mains came at 645pm, unacceptable!!! By the the time the mains arrived, we absolutely lost our appetite already. The staff apologized and gave us 1 tiny scoop of ice cream to be shared on a table of 3. Really? We didn't feel a warm welcome either, I would say the customer greeting and warmth was neutral at it's best. Not bad. But not great either. If you arrived early, there are no seats or waiting area, they'd make you wait standing outside the gate. Or if you have a car, just stay in your car. Ambiance - the one saving grace. It's not perfect either, while there's no AC, the they only had 2 small stand fans shared across, I was sweating. Pick this place not for the food but if you want to impress a date for its really romantic and exclusive atmosphere. As the food service is really slow, not recommended if you are here to satisfy your hunger. Date : Feb 23, 5pm Would I come back? Perhaps if the food service improved and the mains actually become better than the starters. Until then, the hunt for the best food spot in Antipolo at least, continues.

Great experience overall. The food was amazing. I always keen on elevated Filipino cuisine. This menu and its execution was beyond my expectations. Set menu selection choosing 2 appetizers and 3 mains, plus starter and dessert. The starter was good. Sourdough, sisig pate and bulalo butter. Great flavors, but if the bread was going to be served pre-sliced, then I would've preferred it to be toasted. Better yet, maybe serve Pandesal instead? Our appetizers we chose, the Gising Gising and the Kinilaw. No complaints. Great job. For our mains, Bistek, Pininyahang Manok, and Lechon Belly. Again amazing. Bistek was cooked perfectly, the reduction was a little tangy for my taste but I appreciate the flavors. The warm onion salad was underwhelming however. A little balsamic or maybe even if it were sautéed could have been done. The Manok was good, but just a tad on the sweet side. I wasn't able to taste the dill, but I am sure it was there. Maybe the pineapple was too overpowering. Now my favorite was the Lechon. Don't be fooled, it's not pork but a tuna. That being said, this was by far the best thing I have ever eaten. I have zero complaints. The whole venue was cozy, beautiful, romantic and pretty much flawless. From what we saw there's only 2 dining tables that offer a view. There's a large alfresco dining table that shows the same view, but of course you'll need to come with more people than just your date. There's no AC so if you're not used to the climate just be warned. There are fans but it may not be enough during the warmer seasons. You can get here by Grab or Taxi, but remember it's in a gated community and is someones' home, so you're better off driving. There's free parking on the street. The whole property is gorgeous, my words cannot do it justice. Just visit the garden and Koi pond and see and experience the view for yourself.

It was truly a "welcome home" experience. I really commend that they retain the Asian tradition of removing your footwear before going indoors. The manager was really kind; however, our server's hospitality is subpar. The server isn't even smiling so I hope he is okay. Also, he speaks too fast when explaining the dishes. In terms of the food, the price is just right. It was better than expected but the taste development was quite linear. The Kasuy Falafel and Tuna Belly were my favorites tho. They're really good and would love to order and eat them again. The desserts were just okay but the Carabao milk ice cream with the artisan salt is 👌. Very good ending of a decadent meal. I just hope that they will have a tasting menu available again, as well as the cocktails as I was really looking forward to the Suman booze but too bad they don't offer it anymore.

We had the pleasure of trying Tahanan Bistro’s Romantic Dining experience, and it certainly lives up to its name. Set against a stunning view and wrapped in cozy, homey ambiance, the evening featured a thoughtfully curated six-course menu, a glass of wine, and dessert. We began with a choice of kinilaw and okoy for our appetizer - delicate in portion but powerful in flavor. Each bite offered a perfect balance of acidity and crunch, a delightful way to awaken the palate. The salad followed, rich in coconut flavor and beautifully presented, a refreshing segue into the main course. For the mains, we sampled the lechon belly, bistek, and binagoongan. All three dishes were superbly executed, with generous portions and deeply satisfying flavors that showcased elevated takes on classic Filipino cuisine. The standout finale was the dessert selection, particularly the ice cream! And a surprise complimentary dessert from the chef, which was a thoughtful and delicious gesture to end the night. Each diner also received a glass of wine, rounding out the romantic dining package nicely. While parking is limited to street-side spots just outside the restaurant, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Tahanan Bistro is a gem that combines warmth, excellent food, and a serene atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We visited Tahanan Bistro to celebrate my mother’s birthday and the experience did not disappoint. The place was very calm, quiet, and serene; it matched the melancholy vibes at the time cuz it was raining and we can hear the gush of the water from the fountain. The food was really unique and we had some favorites and also some that did not really fancy. We loved the prawn dumpling appetizer, bistek for the mains, and my personal favorite—their desserts! They have my heart on their carabao milk ice cream as well their cassava with cheese. I would come back for their desserts haha! 💕 We loved everything altho the dishes that were only so-so for us were the starter and salad. The quantity of the food was just enough for the three of us and we were very full even before desserts came. But that might be because we were just light-normal eaters. We had the salu-salo course meal for us three. Those who have big appetite might need to order some additional food. As for the service, the servers were really kind and accommodating. They listened to our requests and questions and even joked during conversations which really helped lightened the mood. We would have loved to go and take pictures around the garden but it was raining and we were worried we might slip so we just watched the whole garden in another terrace from the restaurant. Overall, I rate the restaurant in the following criteria based on our experience: Aesthetic: 9.5/10 Food: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Overall Experience: 9/10

We are a couple visiting from Manila. The restaurant we initially planned to go to was better suited for large groups, so we had to give up on that and quickly search for another option. That’s how we ended up at Tahanan Bistro, which we found through Google Maps. Thanks to this lucky find, I discovered one of the finest restaurants in the Philippines. Even with Google Maps, there’s a chance you might get lost on the way. The restaurant doesn’t have dedicated parking, so you’ll need to park on the road in front of the establishment, but there is a valet to assist. As you open the charming entrance door, you’re greeted by a pond with koi fish. You’re required to remove your shoes and switch to slippers at the entrance. The entire establishment is built with high-quality wood, and everything from the garden to the decor and lighting is simple yet beautifully designed. Given the “bistro” in the name, I expected Italian cuisine, but it’s actually Filipino fusion. The food is refined and delicious. The service is also excellent; the staff are knowledgeable about the dishes and can explain them well. After enjoying your meal, you can explore the well-designed and carefully maintained garden. When we visited, there were two couples celebrating what seemed to be significant events (likely proposals). It’s definitely a restaurant worthy of such special moments.

Spent a great anniversary dinner here with my girlfriend. We had a pleasant evening overall. Great food and service. I guess this is just timing, but man, if you’re bringing kids at this resto, please make sure to have them behave. We were bugged by the noise the kids were making at the other table. Hearing anticipated mass at Antipolo Cathedral took us to revisit Vieux Chalet, our first time back in over 20 years. This was one of our go-to places in the ’80s; we would save for the beef fondue that was already expensive then. My husband and I even laughed, wondering how we ever managed to find it back then without cellphones or Waze. It was such a treat to find it still standing, homey and charming, and serving excellent beef fondue and other Swiss dishes at great value. We ordered our old favorite, and were amazed by the generous portions, tender beef and rich flavor. The beef fondue set for 2 (₱3,842) can feed four! Everything we tried, from the refreshing drinks, appetizers and salad (everything home made!) to the flavorful beef and aromatic coffee — was spot on. Hats off to the owner’s daughter for keeping the charm and quality alive. Still one of Antipolo’s best dining experiences, and well worth the trip (and traffic).

Cozy feels. Old house with fantastic view of the metro. Wooden floors that will transfer you to the good old days. Good music to set the mood. Uncluttered space with clean and spacious bathroom. Staff were nice and very accomodating. Addorable caharacters and personalities. Complimentary drinks were refreshing and the appetizers were tasty. We came here for dinner, just so the roads were dark but nothing near dangerous. Parking can be challenging if you're not that early. The slope aint so steep but flat roads are nearby for easier parking.

We tried the Mon Cherie set at Vieux Chalet and everything was really good! It started with a refreshing drink, soup, and salad, then came this super yummy cheesy dip with crunchy chips—such a nice surprise. For mains, we had the smoked porkchop and grilled fish. Both were flavorful and came with tasty sides like mashed squash, veggies, and herbed rice. The mushroom sauce on the side was sooo good! We ended with coffee and a cute chocolate fondue platter with fruits, cookies, and other sweets. It was such a fun way to end the meal. The place is cozy and peaceful, perfect for chill dates or special lunches. Definitely planning to come back!

it’s been a really long time since my first visit in vieux chalet around 2006. i found out my mom got to know this place through ourawesomeplanet then. we’d go on road trips and eat out somewhere nice and it was a nice sunset day. it was still an open venue then and you can see the nice city lights at night. i remember being seated by the window before. i can’t remember as much before but that we did have pizza and pasta. the vibe was homey and it’s still homey now, the service warm and inviting. now the venue has got a few improvements as it is a closed four wall space, with even more paintings adorning the place. they even have saturday cooking workshops which sounds really fun. this time around we got the following: •swiss platter — comes with an assortment of ham and bread, spreads and jams like assorted yellow fruits and pate, dried fig and mandarin, cookies, tomatoes, and butter of course. •fettuccine padilla — creamy and rich, with ham and mushrooms. also comes with a side of 2 bread buns •seven-cheese grilled pizza — the pizza was a bit too oily, probably from the assortment of cheeses, but still tasted good and cheesy as it’s named •salad of the day — putobumbong inspired their homemade breads are really good. the quality of the food and service overall even better. would love to come back here again with the family and possibly a weekend workshop.

My partner and I walked in for Sunday lunch and were seated right away, but the place quickly filled up, so if we had come a little later, we might not have gotten a table. There is no dedicated parking lot; instead, you park on the roadside after going up a slight incline near the restaurant. A parking attendant is there to guide you. While the view isn't perfect due to a house right in front, the restaurant is perched on a hill surrounded by nature, offering a distant view of Manila's skyline. The food is delicious. We ordered the set menu for two, and the portions were quite generous. We only managed to finish the fish dish and had to take the chicken dish home. It was still tasty when we had it at home. The service was good, though there’s still some room for improvement.

The experience was great! A good place for out of town meals with family or friends. They serve a free appetizer before coming out with your orders. They have set menu that I think is very sulit. The best pizza I've ever tasted is theirs! You'll definitely leave the place with a happy tummy 😋

Love our experience here, there are a lot of good spots for photo ops, was shocked with the serving of food but it was worth its price. if you are a not a big eater the serving of food will be good for 2 already. staffs are nice too, they are friendly and accommodating. highly recommended place, it is not commute friendly though only one of the best options would be private vehicles or grab/angkas

An aesthetic nature restaurant that exceeded my expectations in terms of food and service. A must to visit despite difficulty in reaching via commute (I used a motorcycle hailing app to arrive at my destination.) While the atmosphere will pull you into a trance of being one with nature, the seamless smiles of every staff made me attended to. We ordered the poutine, seafood linguine which I recommend you order. It has a discriminative taste that would etch a memory of one of the best foods you’ve ordered this year. We reserved the outdoor seating which was quite small, but with the rain I was able to appreciate the venue a little better. It’s not that hot given that we ate at the peak of lunch. (I recommend you get the outdoor than the indoor since it’s more secluded and quiet). Overall, I would recommend you visit Burrow Cafe PH. It lives up to its standards

Spent our 2nd Anniversary here yesterday and we had an amazing time. The place looks amazing and the earthly vibe make you feel closer to nature. The staff was friendly and the service was great. The food, chef's kiss! We ordered their Solo Traveler set and we enjoyed it. Their complementary sourdough bread was soft and it pairs well with the butter and syrup; great way to start the meal. The Vegan Pumpkin Vegetable Soup was okay. It was creamy, but the taste of rosemary was overpowering. The main course, though, was fantastic. Ordered Lechon and Gising-Gising and Roasted Chicken and we enjoyed every bit of it. The lechon was crispy and flavorful, the gising-gising was creamy and pairs well with the lechon. I just wish the gising-gising was a bit spicier. My girlfriend enjoyed the roasted chicken. It also pairs well with their mashed potato, but we felt like a gravy or the side or some sauce could help balance out the sweetness of the mashed potato. But overall, we loved how juicy and flavorful the chicken was. The Chocolate Ganache Cake was a great way to end the meal. Not too sweet, cake was moist, and doesn't leave a strong aftertaste. I loved how it goes well with the ice cream and crumble on the side. It also comes with their Zee Gingerzzz. It was a bit bitter at first, but I enjoyed the drink as we go along with our meal. Great way to cleanse the palate, and a healthy alternative to sodas. We just thought that the soup was out of place in the meal. If they could switch the soup to a different one, then it would be a perfect meal set. But that's just my opinion. Overall, we had a blast, and we will be coming back in the future. It made our Anniversary special. Highly recommended.

Spent valentine's day here and availed their full course meal. Everything was amazing but I was so in love with their salad, soup and desserts. Their staff are attentive and approachable, we even got to meet their very nice pastry chef, Joan.

We tried their Solo Traveler menu and it was worth it! Appetizer: toasted bread with butter & honey Soup: vegetable soup with a strong kick of rosemary Main course: gising-gising pork and roasted chicken—both super good! Dessert: mousse cake with ice cream on side Drink: Zee Ginger—it tastes like an alcoholic drink, but it’s not! Overall, the food was really good—flavorful but not overwhelming (except the soup with rosemary). Very affordable and sobrang sulit! The place itself is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly. A perfect spot if you want to enjoy good food while connecting with nature.

Had high expectations of Burrow Café bec of the reviews in soc med. unfortunately, these weren’t met 😞 The potential for the unique ambiance is clear, but the significant issues with accessibility, coupled with underwhelming food, overshadowed the positives. This experience was enough to scratch the café off our list as a venue to consider for a private gathering. May return for a quiet time and coffee when I am in the area, but would need a compelling reason for a full-scale visit. Burrow Café offers a uniquely rustic and nature-inspired ambiance. The dining area lives up to its name - peaceful and warm. However, this comes with a significant drawback - accessing the café involves taking 96 steps of stairs, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users and the elderly. Food was the most disappointing aspect of the visit. Most of our orders were the specials as it is our first time. Truffle Mushroom Soup (P320 for a bowl) was particularly underwhelming and bland for my taste - can’t get a hint of truffle. The Beef Tapa (priced over P400) was something you can easily replicate at home. The standout dish was the Wine Braised Beef Brisket with Spinach Risotto, which was tender and tasteful, but the P690 price tag felt steep for what amounted to only three cubes of meat. Drinks, like the slow drip latte and house blend tea, were okay. The service was inconsistent. The initial staff member was unwelcoming, which set a poor tone. Fortunately, the experience improved when a new staff member took over, who was friendly and engaging! She even asked for our feedback on the food which is a definite plus for me!

An obviously hidden gem that's a must try for the amazing rustic nature dinning or a romantic place to be. Young or old it's something you'll enjoy but mind the steep path that's worth the short nature trail to a tranquil place you'll love after that bite. Staff are friendly and attentive, the parking is ok but should it rain keep in mind the railing and steep natural steps.
CC L — Google review
There is street parking for many cars. There are 96 steps going to the restaurant which I never counted before but they had that posted na as soon as you approach the stairs going down. Atmosphere is still incomparable that’s why I love coming here. The food is still good but honestly I feel like something changed — black pancit is still the same though para it was bland when we had it this time. Still meaty and crunchy which I love. Pumpkin soup, nothing special. Its pairing bacon jam in a toast was meh. Beef Tapa for 450 with this taste? It’s not worth the price anymore. I’m a regular customer in the sense I visit burrow once to thrice a year for the past 6 years so I can tell the food isn’t the same same. As for the service: the servers aren’t as welcoming anymore. They even got 1 of our ordered drink wrong and that’s ok cause it happens. What’s not ok is that the waitress was pushing back saying this is what’s written in the order slip. Also another waitress came saying “Mam I repeated your order back, you said matcha latte (wrong order) and matcha strawberry.” My friend who was a first time diner there was a bit disappointed, also he never drinks matcha so it would be impossible that he said matcha plus I am sure I heard “spanish latte” from him. When all our food was served, we asked if they can take a photo, but I swear they toom my phone and took 2 shots and weren’t even smiling… It was a bummer as I was having my annual birthday brunch there (as mentioned in the reservation too). It was a Thursday 12pm visit. I am just sad that Burrow is no longer the same as it was before. What used to be comfortable dining experience was with stress this time because of that incident but nevertheless we still took out some sourdoughs after our brunch. 🥲

Yellow Bird Cafe X Kitchen in Antipolo City, Philippines offers a delightful experience for visitors. The cafe is known for its specialty coffee made from fresh beans and boasts a picturesque view. The menu features a variety of dishes including Crunchy Okoy, Monte Cristo Sandwich, and Seafood Pasta, catering to different tastes. With its cozy ambiance, the cafe is an ideal spot for brunch or romantic dinners.
Food was great and plenty. We had mushroom soup for starters which tasted like a meal in itself. Then, we ordered their baby back ribs, lumpiang shanghai, and chicken pastel (got no picture as it was served while we were eating). Their service was okay, the food didn't take that long to arrive. The atmosphere could be enhanced a bit more, the number of tables aren't that many (especially if the second floor is closed for an event) so the space feels a little small and noise between customers is unavoidable.

Yellowbird Cafe & Kitchen was good, but there’s room for improvement. The steak was great—ordered medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The kids enjoyed their breakfast meals, and the portions were generous, which we appreciated. However, the service could have been a bit better, and the place overall could use a little more attention to detail. It’s a solid spot, but with a few improvements, it could be even better.

The food was okay nothing real stood out but a friend told me to try the sinigang on my next visit. The ambiance was welcoming though and I enjoyed the space with all the natural light coming in.

We had a reservation at 12:00 noon, but it was mistakenly recorded for 2:00 p.m. Initially, we were seated at the café, then later transferred to the restaurant once a table became available. We ordered the Caesar salad, mushroom soup, shrimp scampi, Wagyu flat iron steak, and baby back ribs. The salad was okay, the mushroom soup was great, flavorful and rich. I didn’t enjoy the shrimp scampi, as the shrimp didn’t taste fresh and may have been overcooked. The steak, which I ordered medium, was cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and served with rice, although I would have preferred the option to pair it with mashed potatoes instead. The ribs were tender and cooked well, with a flavor that reminded me of lechon paksiw. As for the drinks, I didn’t like my soda-based peach drink, and my partner’s raspberry drink was just okay. Service was decent despite the reservation mix-up. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some highlights and a few letdowns.

Visited this cozy with good ambiance cafe x kitchen in Antipolo however place is somehow hot. Servers are attentivs. Food is palatable and yummy. We ordered Chicken Pesto Pasta, Shrimp Scampi and Sriracha Wings. Food servings is generous -- single pasta is good for two. I love their Sriracha wings because it is juicy, tender and level of spicyness is tolerable. We also ordered Salted Caramel on ice and Jasmine Passion Fruit Tea on ice. Refreshing and true to its taste. Parking is available but it gets busy on late afternoons onwards.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday, no reservation needed since there were a lot of tables available. The place is 3 floors. Food was just okay. Had the truffle pasta, seafood pasta, and wagyu steak. Cute date place though whether as a couple or with friends. Downside - there were ants on our table and a few flies that kept flying around. Restroom at the second floor, shared regardless of gender. Has a bidet and tissue.

Friendly staff and good food but serving time and menu items availability are things for improvement. We tried ordering the salad and spareribs but both were unavailable. Instead we got the mushroom soup, Bangus tinapa (very good!), Wagyu patty, and Crispy okoy. Overall would go back especially for the tinapa! Staff was very friendly and apologetic for unavailable items.

It's definitely worth the drive! I haven't tried food here yet but looking at the menu, they offer a wide variety of food and drinks. Great location for a lookout! Come here around 5pm to enjoy the sunset. If you have a group of 6, you can make a reservation. However, if you have less than 6 pp, it's ok to walk in. All tables have outstanding views.

We chose this spot for a weekday lunch. I’d say the food is just average and nothing worth remembering but the ambiance is tranquil, scenic, and well-maintained, though certain areas could benefit from additional sun protection. While the staff was attentive, there were delays with some of our orders. Despite that, it remains an excellent choice for a family gathering. It’s pet friendly too!

Went to Maura’s for Saturday brunch to chill and enjoy friends’ company. The place has ample parking. Street going to the place is a bit tricky. They offer big servings and breakfast offerings are mostly fried. Sorry. You will surely love the ambience. They have a bell on each table to call the attention of the servers. Toilets are available. Mocha is the resident pooch going around tables. Highly recommended.

I'd come back here for the place, not really for the food, cause SOME of what we ordered weren't that tasty for me and most were OK. The portions were big but still there was something that was a miss. Pancakes were not served with butter and it was more of cakey, heavy texture rather than fluffy and light. The sirloin beef had an off taste "grassy"?Brewed coffee did not come free in the breakfast meals, which was a downer. But on the bright side the place was nice, you could relax there, or bring the kids to run around. The staff were attentive and orders were fast. Views were also great. Also, important note, the road going to the place was tight, you have to enter a narrow street with market vendors on both sides.

1. you will be waiting outside prior finding a table, crew will assist you when to come in. 2. crew handed the menu with utmost service 3. once they received your order it would take around or less 30 mins to complete. use this time to wander around to take some photos, etc.. 4. at this time order received. Food is good, per serving is okay... best tasting for us is the sausage/frankfurter not sure but its bursting with flavor. Also the waffle, tastes nice! Service water taste well. 5. Price of the coffee is almost a Starbucks level, we didnt order any since we will go there afterwads.. so yeah 6. the place itself, or where we particularly seated is a bit warm. gladly theres an electric fan to provide some breeze.. 7. the price per order is a bit comparable to Antonio's.. you are paying for the place and the quality of the food. Overall, its a nice experience and we digest the food well (we recomend the Sausage/waffle)... we've hope to taste their coffee since its unknown to us we decided to go to SB instead since its has the same pricepoint. Parking is fine. the location see it for yourself. Cheers!

Place is nice but the road going there is quite narrow. Food is underwhelming for the price (ranges 400 to 600 pesos per meal!!). The view is a bit underwhelming as well - unlike other overlooking views where you see mountains before the city, here the view is the residential houses below. Java chip milkshake - tastes quite good, a bit too sweet, and costs around Php200 Salisbury steak (Roma) - underwhelming but ok. The scrambled eggs are OK. Tapa (Lola Maura) - per my friends who ordered it tapa is dry and not at par with the price. Honey fried chicken (Bitoy) - huge chicken thigh but the taste again is underwhelming. The chicken flesh is not flavorful.

Fell in love with this place the moment we saw it. It's a great place to relax and unwind. Nice view of the city! You will enjoy the site anytime, but the best time to visit is before sunset to experience both day and night. Staffs are courteous, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant is relatively new but shows a significant improvement on each visit. The menu they offered during our wedding was superb! Everyone liked it! Thanks to the chefs and the owner, who even personally took the time to meet us for the food tasting. They considered all our suggestions and comments. Kudos to Mr. Mark Lopez for being so accommodating and for the excellent assistance he did before and on the day of our wedding. This venue is highly recommended for intimate weddings! The road before reaching the place is quite narrow, but this restaurant is definitely worth your visit! :)

Tipulo in Antipolo is a top spot for classic Filipino cuisine with a modern twist. Their Tipulo Nachos feature crispy chips loaded with longganisa, mango salsa, chopped bagnet, and cheese sauce. The Sisig Pasta and Crispy Pata are also must-tries. The restaurant offers alfresco dining in a serene garden setting, perfect for romantic dates or casual outings while adhering to social distancing protocols.
Accessible, tipulo is located inside First Pacific Academy, which is along the Sumulong hi-way. There is enough parking space for cars and motorcycles for free. The restaurant has a nature-vibe which makes it more relaxing while you dine and there is a complimentary cake for birthday celebrant. Although we loved the food, The other set menu such as "MANYAMAN & MASIRAM" was not available at that time, and the wait was a bit long due to the food being made to order. Waiting time to be seated: zero • They have big spaces and so many tables and chairs here suitable for big groups and families Food was s good! Personal recommendation is the chicken, squid in olive oil and pancit 💕 not a fan of pancit but this one is good! We asked for a fan as the face is hot despite we’re in alfresco. Also waiting time for food after ordering is 50-60mins. Kindly expect that before going there!

Food was great. The mocha latte was a bit too creamy for my taste but that's a personal preference. It doesn't have a mountain view but it does feel secure and somewhat upscale. Great for family gatherings or office team building events.

This is a very nice place, dining around a "natural park" atmosphere you'd surely enjoy If you like nature. This is a more accessible dining place when doing an Antipolo-feel dining. The food is okay, not bad, but also to say it's typically commercial and salty so you know what to expect, it's delicious but be okay also for the sodium-taste residue. The cheesecake has more extender than cream cheese, which may also be okay if you're cutting your fat intake. The service is okay, just about right time. The staff are not extra nice, but not rough, just on the job.

Conveniently situated along the main highway, it boasts ample parking space, making it easily accessible. This charming garden restaurant offers an extensive menu that caters to all tastes, featuring everything from hearty breakfast options and mouthwatering pizzas to savory chicken dishes and comforting pasta.
The food was delicious and delivered quickly. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and they even sang “Happy Birthday” to our friend, which made the experience extra special. The ambiance was great, and we really enjoyed our table. Since it was the weekend, there was a live jamming session, so we let our friends join in with the band, which was a lot of fun. Parking was also plentiful, making it even more convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

We arrived at Miguel’s Garden Café around 11pm — which we later realized was their closing time. But even though it was late, they still welcomed us in and took our orders, which we really appreciated! We just got their dynamite rolls, a mango shake, and cucumber lemonade. The dynamite rolls were crispy and had a nice kick — not too spicy, just enough. The mango shake was super refreshing and tasted like real ripe mangoes. The cucumber lemonade was light and perfect for cooling down after a long day. Didn’t get to try much since it was a quick stop, but the place had a chill vibe and the staff were kind even if it was already late. Will definitely go back to try more of their food when we have more time!

The food here is good and nothing to complain about. But as of the moment the place doesn't look pleasing at all, there were used and broken kitchenwares and furnitures around the place (it seems like they're doing some renovations. I would also not suggest dining here past 4PM as there can be lots of mosquitos and flies since its an outdoor restaurant. It was difficult to enjoy the meal since we kept on getting bitten by mosquitos and flies. Lastly, the restaurant is situated beside the mountain edge but it doesn't have any view of the city below. If you're looking for a restaurant with a view, this is not the place.

Miguel's Garden Cafe have a lovely, warm, and homey atmosphere. We had nachos for appetizer, then enjoyed the two pasta dishes we ordered, along with their mushroom pizza and chicken wings. Food was delicious and servings were generous, except for solo pasta — I think you’re better off ordering the size to share cause there’s a huge portion difference. Don’t skip on their tender and juicy chicken. Their pizza is also good with bready crust. The only comment I have is the service is quite slow during peak hours, we went on a Sunday and the place was packed with people. A singer/guitarist was present to serenade you while eating. Would definitely come back.

Marison’s in Antipolo, established in 2013, aims to modernize Filipino cuisine by incorporating new ingredients and techniques into traditional dishes. Visitors recommend trying the pork adobo with bagnet chips or the angus beef Bicol express for a spicy kick. The restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with dishes like Kare Kare bursting with rich flavors, Sinaing na Tuna that melts in your mouth, and Deep Fried Kesong Puti providing a satisfying crunch.
I highly recommend dining at Marison's SM City Masinga branch ❤️ Aside from the fact that this is our favorite Pinoy food destination I love also how the staff handled their customers really well, they're all friendly and ready to assist. Their menu is perfect for the whole family, our favorite is the Crispy Tripe Kare-Kare, Sinaing na Tuna. We will definitely be back! 💯🙌🏻
Jina P — Google review
We enjoyed the food. Compared to other restaurants, it had a more authentic, home-cooked taste. While I appreciated the overall flavor profile, I would suggest reducing the saltiness of the adobo, making the caldereta meat more tender, and adding more visible miso to the soup. Overall, four stars.
Peter U — Google review
This place has a cozy vibe, although the place doesn’t seem very spacious at first glance, it’s surprisingly able to accommodate several big crowds like families of 6 or more people at once. If you’re having a hard time locating it, it’s just above Starbucks, easily visible to the right of the building’s canopy sign. Dining here was an experience similar to the exploration of new flavors yet remaining grounded to the familiar flavors we’ve come to know about our local cuisines. I’ve got to give the Kare-kare with Crispy Tripes a top score among the dishes we have tried. The crispy tripes accentuated the familiar taste we know about kare-kare, it added a new texture to the dish and even elevated the generous amount of flavorful beef meat and veggies draped in the richness of the cashew kare-kare sauce. Beef Rendang Maranao was another dish to highlight, it was a first for me to taste this amazing dish of beef slices that were rendered tender in coconut milk and coated in a myriad of spices and toasted flavors, paired with the unique Maranao salsa, palapa; it is a must try for the fans of coconut-based filipino dishes enriched with our local spices. We also tried their Sinaing na Tuna, good for those opting for a healthier meat option, although it's a bit on the salty side. The biggest surprise and my new favorite from this food trip was the deep-fried kesong puti! The cheesy goodness was irresistible

Marison's Antipolo offers a delightful journey through Filipino cuisine. Their Kare Kare bursts with rich flavors, while the Sinaing na Tuna melts in your mouth with its tender goodness. The Deep Fried Kesong Puti provides a satisfying crunch with a creamy center. Our dad was the first to discover Marison’s. Since he worked abroad, he would look for restaurants that showcase Filipino dishes whenever he’s back in the Philippines. When I was introduced to Marison’s, it became my go-to Filipino restaurant. Their Tripe Kare-Kare has left me speechless every single time I order it. This time I tried their original dishes. Deep Fried Kesong Puti has an aroma that’s so inviting and it also has a dash of sugar that complimented the salty taste of the cheese. Sinaing na Tuna has a rich taste and was on another level of crispy. The most important thing to note here is that Marison’s is truly a gem in Antipolo ✨

Marison's just gives you that family sunday vibe. They have big servings and the true taste of pinoy food. Just the notable favorites are the Kare-Kare (you can eat it as is even without bagoong) and the Sinaing na Buntot ng Tuna.

Beautiful terraced cafe in Pinto Museum. Such a beautiful environment and very good coffee and ice cream. Lovely.

Before we decided to fully explore the entirety of the Pinto Art Museum in its finest, we took a short trip to Café Rizal and ate there! ✨ I'll start with the staff; they were extremely kind and guided both me and my mother inside! They were quite attentive to our orders and made sure to look after us as we waited for our meals to arrive! I loved the service they provided for us, and there were quite a lot of them who were roaming around the area. Now moving on to the interior, it made me feel as if I'm in Europe, and I appreciate the dim lighting! The interior seen in Café Rizal cannot be compared to just any cafe on the side, and you could tell that they put great care into the decorations that I have witnessed during my time there! 💞 As for the food, I wouldn't say it's affordable, and it could be quite pricey at the same time, but thankfully, we didn't have any horror stories about the meals we ordered, and they were quite delicious! My mother and I ordered chicken-related meals; we loved them and finished everything! 👏 All in all, we highly enjoyed the fancy ambience the cafe had, the amazing dishes we ordered, and the kind staff we encountered! However, this is not a place we would constantly frequent as it is inside the Pinto Art Museum, where you have to pay for the entrance fee, and the pricing for the food and drinks may not be affordable for most. If you can look past those two factors, then why not give Café Rizal a try?

Food is a bit pricey. Mediterranean pasta is surprisingly good. Tequila margarita lacks alcohol content; ask for an extra shot of tequila when ordering. Triple layer cake is weird; cheesecake+mousse+moist chocolate cake = identity crisis Dagupan tastes like pork Shanghai at first with bangus as the after taste. Tamarind juice tastes good.

The first cafe you will find inside the Pinto Art Museum beside the chapel. The food is good but I find it a little bit expensive. You can either dine inside or thru the terrace or on the viewdeck.

Very nice staff. Food was sent out in less than 15 minutes. We liked the pork adobo, chicken satay and tamarind shake. No aircon but that's okay you're going to have a workout anyway going around the art galleries.

🍽️ Food Seafood Aglio e Olio - 4/5 Wagyu Pizza - 4/5 Pink Lemonade - 5/5 Shrimp Popcorn - 5/5 On a pricey side, but food is okay. 👨‍🍳 Staff 👩‍🍳 Very welcoming. Some of the waiters were attentive, but there was a point that they forget to serve our appetizer, which is the Shrimp popcorn 😅 They finally serve it when we ask for a follow up. 📍Location Loved the ambiance, very relaxing and cozy. It’s al fresco so you are eating with the nature. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

Great ambiance although pretty similar to Cafe Dionysus which is also inside Pinto Art Museum. Has a cozy and relaxing vibe. Service is a hit-or-miss, some of the waiters are attentive but some completely forget about your order. We tried following up an order and we got charged double for the watermelon shakes even though a previous waiter has taken our order before. Food is okay but a little overpriced considering what it is. Pizza is good and the pasta meals are flavorful. The fruit shakes were really made from fresh fruit. Overall an okay experience and pretty convenient since it’s inside the museum grounds. The seafood pasta has a lot of shellfish, out of everything we ordered this was worth its price.

Not recommended to eat !!! Nice place to sit and relax after a tour through the museum, but I wouldn’t recommend their starters, such as the truffle fries. The mango smoothie is more like water with a bit of juice and mostly ice. I can’t recommend this place for food. After their food me and my husband felt so bad.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport

International airport
Airport
Ninoy Aquino International Airport, located in the Manila area, is a bustling hub with four terminals offering various amenities such as shops and dining options. It serves as a major gateway for over 30 airlines from around the world, including AirAsia, Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and PAL Express. The airport has undergone modernization efforts at Terminal 1 to create a spacious and well-lit environment with improved facilities.
I had the chance to travel through Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) last year, and it was a smooth and pleasant experience overall. ✈️ What I Loved • Friendly & Welcoming Staff – From check-in to immigration, the staff were very courteous and always ready to assist with a smile. It felt like a genuine reflection of the famous Filipino hospitality. • Good Food & Shopping Options – The airport had a variety of choices to enjoy before the flight, from quick snacks to proper meals, as well as duty-free shops with plenty of options for souvenirs and gifts. • Clean & Organized – The terminal areas I passed through were tidy and easy to navigate, with clear signage that made it simple to move between check-in, security, and boarding gates. • Convenient Location – Being so close to the heart of Manila made arriving and departing easier, especially if you want to explore the city before or after your flight. 🌟 Overall Impression NAIA gave me a comfortable start and finish to my trip. The welcoming atmosphere, smooth process, and helpful staff left me with a very positive impression. It’s a great introduction to the Philippines, setting the tone for the warmth and friendliness the country is known for.

Overall, the airport is decent, but for Muslim travelers, just a heads-up — there’s no surau or prayer room available. 🙏 So you’ll need to find a quiet, secluded corner to pray, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially during busy hours. It would be great if they could add a small prayer area in the future for travelers’ comfort. The toilets are just okay — not terrible, but not great either. Could use a little more cleanliness and maintenance. On the bright side, the airport staff are polite and helpful, which makes the experience a bit smoother. In short: manageable for a short transit, but definitely room for improvement in facilities, especially for Muslim travelers.

I recently traveled through Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 (NAIA T2) and encountered a concerning issue that I believe families—especially those traveling with infants or young children—should be aware of. There is currently no available hot water refill station in NAIA T2. If you're a parent who needs hot water to prepare milk or formula for your child, please be advised that this service is no longer offered. I’m not certain why all the hot water dispensers have been removed, but one possible reason could be the installation of vending machines that serve hot noodles with built-in automatic hot water dispensing. These machines may have replaced the previous refill stations. In my case, I had to approach a nearby coffee shop and kindly request to purchase hot water. While the staff were accommodating, this workaround is far from ideal—especially for families who rely on quick and accessible hot water for feeding their children. It’s a basic necessity that should be readily available in an international airport. Additionally, I visited one of the male restrooms in Terminal 2 and noticed a lack of privacy in the urinal area. There were no partitions or barriers between urinals, which can be uncomfortable for many travelers. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate authorities or airport management. Small improvements like restoring hot water access and enhancing restroom privacy can make a big difference in the overall travel experience—especially for families and international visitors.

I recently flew through Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila, and I must say, the experience was truly wonderful. The positive changes are noticeable from the moment you step inside. The terminals felt incredibly clean and well-maintained, a significant improvement that makes the whole transit experience pleasant and welcoming. What truly impressed me was the overall efficiency of the operations. Contrary to some older reviews, my flights, both arriving and departing, experienced minimal to zero delays, making my itinerary stress-free. The check-in and security processes were smooth, fast, and remarkably organized. Above all, the Filipino hospitality shines through. Every single airport staff member—from the immigration officers to the information desk personnel—was genuinely friendly, smiling, and eager to assist. This warm, welcoming attitude created a fantastic first and last impression of the Philippines. The signs were clear, the amenities were accessible, and the atmosphere was generally relaxed. It felt like a modern, efficient hub. Overall, NAIA has excelled. I highly recommend flying through this airport and experiencing the smooth service and genuine kindness of the staff. It was a truly satisfying travel day!

Manila Airport is relatively small compared to other major city airports and still has room for improvement, especially in gate management and passenger comfort and lounges (majority of them are small). Departure areas often feel cramped, with limited seating and passengers crowding near the gates while waiting to board. On the bright side, the arrival experience is generally smoother across terminals. The only downside is the long immigration queues when several flights arrive at once — something that could definitely be improved. Hopefully, the airport continues to upgrade its facilities and passenger flow management over time.

The airport is okay but still has a lot of room to improve. It’s not too big, and food and drink options are pretty limited, especially for Muslim travelers. The surau/mushola is located on the top floor, you need to take the lift, walk to the middle area, then go behind. It’s quite far and feels a bit secluded, plus it could use better maintenance and cleanliness. Finding halal food here is almost impossible, so that’s something they really need to improve. Cleanliness and food hygiene overall should be checked more often. The car waiting area can get pretty chaotic too. Still, with some upgrades and better organization, this airport could be much more comfortable for international travelers.

Pros: Upgrades in Progress: T3 now has more shops/restaurants and efficient check-in for Cebu Pacific/Philippine Airlines. Privatization brings better Wi-Fi, charging stations, and lounges (e.g., A Lounge with unlimited food/drinks for ~₱1,500). Affordable Transport Links: Grab/ride-hailing hub at T3 (₱300-500 to Makati); airport trains to city center under planning. Friendly Staff in Spots: Some immigration officers and lounges praised for politeness; T2's domestic vibe feels less chaotic. Diversity of Flights: Excellent connectivity to Asia/US/Europe, with frequent low-cost options. Cons: Congestion & Delays: Immigration/customs lines up to 90 min; traffic to/from airport (e.g., 1-2 hrs from BGC) is "hellish." Recent SUV crash at T1 exposed bollard failures, prompting safety reviews. Maintenance & Cleanliness: Dirty restrooms, broken chairs, power outages; T1/T4 called "outdated and smelly." Bedbug reports in seating persist. Security Scandals: Multiple "tanim-bala" incidents in 2025, leading to OTS staff dismissals and protocol reviews. Strict (inconsistent) rules on lighters/liquids frustrate travelers. Fee Hikes & Value: Terminal fees rising to ₱950 (intl) / ₱390 (domestic) from Sept 2025; parking now ₱1,200 overnight—seen as "greedy" amid poor service. Tips for TravelersArrive Early: 4 hours for intl, 3 for domestic—account for Manila traffic (use Waze). Choose Terminals Wisely: T3 for intl (best amenities); avoid T1/T4 if possible. Prep for Security: Liquids in 100ml bags; no lighters in carry-on. Use online check-in. Transport: Pre-book Grab (~₱400 to Makati); avoid yellow taxis (scams common). Airport parking: Reserve ahead. Lounges & Perks: ₱1,000-2,000 for access; great for escaping crowds. Watch Developments: By mid-2026, expect new gates and e-gates. Track via MIAA app for real-time updates.

An easy enough airport to get around. I found most of the staff can only comprehend basic English but they were super helpful once they knew what I was asking for. Nothing Google Translate can’t fix! I didn’t appreciate how large this airport actually is! Not as many shops as others of similar size however there isn’t much you can’t get your hands on before you leave

Clark International Airport

International airport
Airport
Clark International Airport, previously known as Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, is situated within the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, a short distance from Manila. The airport serves both domestic and international flights and is part of Central Luzon, a region contributing significantly to the Philippine economy. With efficient infrastructure and strategic location offering accessibility for people and goods movement, the airport provides a pleasant experience with clean facilities and professional staff.
If the airport in Manila are as aesthetically pleasing as this, it's reputation might improve a little. The airport looks ans smells clean. It is designed with passengers' comfort. We had a very early flight going to Romblon so we decided to eat first on the second floor. The restaurant choices are limited because it's early and there are not many restaurants on the second floor. The lift is not available so we had to carry our luggage to the second floor. On the othe4 hand when we arrived back to this airport, the lift is available and there is even an attendant who told us we can leave our bags for free in his station if we want to go on the second floor. The proximity of the bus station is also convenient so we can to go back to Metro Manila. We had no issues during check in and we had smooth boarding time.

I used this Airport twice. Once arriving from Thailand and going to Siargao. Both experiences were fine. I had no issues. All the airport staff were professional, airport clean, and wasn't overcrowded. There is 1 thing you should know when flying domestically. It's the main food court area is only accessible before you go through security when flying domestically. I found out after I had gone through and didn't want to go back through security. Fortunately, there is a Subway I could eat at after security and I did see a small convenience style store as well. Hope that helps and happy travels

I have flown in and out of Clark Airport several times now, and all have been very pleasant so far. A much better alternative to Naia. Travel time from Home to Clark Airport is 1hr 30mins without Traffic, so not Bad at all. Very Smooth Check In, Not Crowded and Clean. Toilets are Abundant here, you will not have any trouble looking for one. Nice food choices also.

Incident Report: Lost Hydro Flask at Clark International Airport on October 22, 2025 On October 22, 2025, at around 11:50 PM, I accidentally left my Hydro Flask tumbler in the comfort room (CR) of Clark International Airport. I only realized it was missing about an hour later. I immediately returned to the restroom where I had last placed it, but the tumbler was no longer there. I knocked on the janitor's room nearby and asked the janitor if he had seen a Hydro Flask tumbler. He responded that he hadn’t and promptly closed the door without offering any assistance or checking further. I searched the area thoroughly but couldn’t find it. I then approached airport security, hoping they might have seen someone take it, but they said they had not seen anything. They referred us to the information counter to check if the item had been turned in to Lost and Found. At the information desk, I explained the situation and was told that nothing had been surrendered at that time. I asked if someone could assist us in checking the janitors' quarters in case the item had been set aside by cleaning staff. However, the staff did not assist with that request. Instead, the woman at the desk called the CCTV control room to review footage from outside the restroom. Before we were able to check in, we were informed that a Korean national was seen on CCTV holding an item (believed to be the Hydro Flask) and showing it to others, possibly asking if it belonged to them. According to the staff, this individual supposedly returned the item inside the restroom and left without it, based on what was observed on the CCTV footage. Despite this, I again asked if we could check the janitors’ area, as no item had yet been surrendered an hour after it was lost, and the janitor was present in the restroom. The staff insisted that if an employee had found the tumbler, it would be formally surrendered to Lost and Found. I provided my contact number and was told they would call me if the item was turned in. Since we were departing from the same airport later on, I said we would drop by again to follow up in person, but we needed to proceed to check-in for the meantime. Surprisingly, less than five minutes after we had checked in, I received a call from the same information staff, now saying that CCTV had captured another Korean national taking the tumbler out of the restroom — contradicting the earlier explanation that the first person had returned it and no one else had been seen with it. It’s important to note that there are no CCTV cameras inside the restroom, and the existing camera is placed at the hallway corner. We had waited around 20 minutes earlier for any CCTV update, but we were only given the first explanation (about the item being returned). It was only after we were inside and had checked in that they suddenly mentioned this second person. At that point, we were simply told, “That’s it,” and the case was treated as closed — nothing further to follow up on. We were left to move on. Reflection on the Incident: It was disappointing to experience how such a small but important personal item was handled by airport personnel. While Clark International Airport looks modern and impressive, this situation revealed a lack of transparency, coordination, and a systematic approach to handling lost items. From the lack of initiative shown by the janitor, to the delayed and conflicting CCTV interpretations, and the unwillingness to let us inspect or even verify possible locations where the item may have been placed — it felt like a basic concern was simply brushed aside. For something as simple as a Hydro Flask, it should not have been this difficult to receive proper assistance. As a traveler, I expected better security protocols and customer service from an international airport.

CRK is the main gateway that the capital never got. A massive passenger terminal that looks stunning both from the inside and out, Clark provides the ease and convenience that has become the expectation for most modern Asian airports. Wide open halls with high ceilings, properly managed queues and plenty of seats for passengers and non passengers. I have nothing but praise for the architecture, convenience and comfort that this airport provides and it is nearly at par with CEB. Just a few odd things or opportunities I observed: 1. X-ray machines were left at the entrances however you are not required to have your bags go through it to enter. This really confused me why they were there in the first place. 2. Limited F&B outlets along the pre-departure area and along the boarding gates particularly the domestic. This is understandable given the low foot traffic that this terminal caters. 3. There were no lounges available on the domestic side of the terminal. All of the lounges were concentrated on the international side. 4. Boarding process almost went smoothly until queues were no longer managed towards the jet bridge. Some of the staff need to be better in handling queues after letting a queue with a different boarding priority mix in with those who had priority boarding. Overall the experience going through CRK was absolutely pleasant and this is the kind of experience we should all have whenever we go through any airport in the country.

CRK has always been my airport of choice. It’s very clean, spacious, and well-organized. The staff are some of the kindest you’ll encounter, always ready to assist. Dining options are plenty, and while airport prices are expected, the quality and convenience make it worth it. The check-in process is straightforward and comfortable, and there are more than enough restrooms available throughout. Truly, Kapampangan pride at its finest! ✈️✨

We took a P2P shuttle from NAIA T3 to Clark Airport for 450 pesos. The trip was around 2 hours long. This airport is smaller than NAIA so it caters to fewer flights. The design and facilities are actually great! It's very clean and modern. Most food stalls open 10AM onwards, but some are open early in the morning (Wendys, 7-11, etc).

Clark International Airport is a nice airport and you can see that there are lots of improvements coming soon. Overall, it was a good experience when we visited last October 28, 2025. The only downside is that the air-conditioning was very weak — it needs better maintenance and an upgrade so passengers can feel more comfortable.
