New Sasak Cafe is a breezy beachfront spot that offers a relaxed, open-air setting to enjoy local seafood and Indonesian classics. It's known for its social vibe and sunset drinks, making it one of the best places in Gili Meno to catch the sunset. While primarily focusing on seafood BBQ and cocktails, they also serve other dishes like quesadillas and fried chicken. The cafe prides itself on offering tasty food at reasonable prices, including fresh fish and calamari caught daily.
Nice food, good drinks and an amazing place to watch the sunset. We chilled here the hole day and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend going here. Not just a fancy tourist place but more local and relaxed;)
Gesina — Google review
Our favourite little spot on Gili Meno! Amazing staff, great food & incredible sunset views. Live bands were great and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Cap Cay & Mega Burger were particularly amazing! We came back 3 times because it was so lovely. You can also see heaps of turtles whilst you’re enjoying a bintang on the bean bags!
Adam H — Google review
After reading the reviews, I also tried the chicken soup and chicken curry. It was incredibly delicious from the very first spoonful — I honestly didn’t expect that. I highly recommend this place, make sure to try those dishes! The staff is very warm and polite.
Vladislav S — Google review
We didn't eat here, but we had some yummy cocktails and watched the sun go down! Lovely staff, great cocktails, and fun live music 🥰
Sam L — Google review
We've had lunch here three times during our stay on Gili Meno. Food was delicious every time, especially chicken curry and stir fry! Absolutely recommended.
Tomasz U — Google review
One of the best place to enjoy the sunset. Also the food is nice! Good vibes and energy, thanks to the view, the music and the staff! The red cat is a plus!!😍

The restaurant is located in Gili Trawangan, which along with its neighboring islands, offers stunning coral sand beaches and turquoise waters near Bali. Deserves all the great reviews it gets! The staff are so lovely and welcoming. The sandwiches are super tasty, and the coffee is genuinely excellent - I’m picky with coffee, and this place nails it. Everything feels clean, cozy, and just really yummy. Definitely a favourite on the island!
Alexia S — Google review
What a lovely place! Serving great coffee, one of the best I’ve had here. Sandwiches and egg breakfast dishes are also great. We had poached eggs and taliwang grilled chicken sandwich. Food was fantastic. Really helpful and kind staff. Let me go back to my room, as I had forgotten to get cash. Highly recommend!
Apurv C — Google review
I was craving a smoothie bowl when I just arrived to the island. I came across Coffee & Thyme, the place looked cute and having seen the reviews it sparked my curiosity. The service was quick, I ordered the smoothie bowl and a energize juice that got recommended to me. The taste was delicious and it was fairly priced. The overall Price/ Quality is great 5/5
Rafaël E — Google review
Food it’s okay, like the breakfast you make at home, no reason for coming back but acceptable. Service was very quick and kind. Coffe was good.
Noelia T — Google review
I visited again thus cafe as it was great memories back in 2023. And still great memory that I’ve got it this year :-) staffs are so friendly as they’re interested in speaking Korean and talked to us haha ! And Iced americano of course loved it so much!!! Best coffee in Gili-T i think 🥤 (pls try the smoothie bowl )
Youjin S — Google review
Nice cafe on Gili T, cheaper than some of the other cafe's, friendly and pretty fast service, had a sunrise smoothie bowl, coffee chocolate brownie (dragon fruit glaze) and a hazelnut oat latte. Yum. The brownie was a little dry and the texture was more like a tray cake but overall for a chill cafe stop it was tasty and affordable. Would recommend :)
J N — Google review
Perfect little coffee just on the main street. We had caramel and hazelnut blended ice coffee and the full moon smoothie bowl! It was absolutely amazing!
Marta Š — Google review
Nice spot on a busy road. Really good menu and prices, especially for how central this cafe is. Service was super quick and friendly. Both dishes we ordered were very tasty.

Pizza restaurant
Adeng-Adeng Beach Restaurant and Bar is a charming beachfront spot at the northern tip of the island, offering a delightful mix of Balinese ambiance and delectable thin crust pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and pasta. It's an ideal place to savor a cocktail while taking in the breathtaking sunset views. The establishment is known for its friendly staff and expanding menu options.
Awesome relaxed atmosphere right on the beach with really good food, drinks and very generous cocktails at great prices. The staff are laid back, friendly and attentive. What mor can I say, it was a great place to spend a lazy lunch.
Jason ( — Google review
A nice and cozy place right by the beach with a lovely view of the sea. The atmosphere is good, and they play great 80s music. Sometimes there's live music, which we would actually prefer without. The food is okay, but the pizza calzone didn’t have much taste. I’m giving 3 stars mainly because the service felt a bit tired, and the calzone lacked flavor. With a bit more attentive service and a few small improvements to the food, they could easily get 5 stars from me!
FRAGMAN S — Google review
We had dinner at Adeng-Adeng Beach Restaurant and overall, it was a nice experience. The staff were really friendly, the service was warm, and the atmosphere was lovely — with live music and a beautiful view of the sunset right over the ocean. The food tasted good, and we enjoyed the setting a lot. It’s a great place to relax by the beach and enjoy the evening vibe. That said, unfortunately, I had an upset stomach afterwards, which was the only time it happened during my trip in Indonesia, so it left me with mixed feelings. It may have been just bad luck, but I thought it was worth mentioning. The place itself has a lot of charm and the people working there really do their best to make you feel welcome. If you're looking for a chilled beach dinner spot, it’s still worth considering. Just personally, I didn’t have the best reaction to the food.
Jonathan P — Google review
A MUST VISIT! I can’t recommend this place enough, we stayed in the Mimpi bungalows next to the restaurant and we ate here every day! They have a great range of things on their menu which is all reasonably priced. The staff were some of the kindest people my friend and I have come across during our travels. You also get complimentary popcorn when waiting for your drinks/food. The calzone was delicious and huge! I would definitely recommend! The bolognese was also delicious although was slightly sweet but don’t let this put you off! It also came with a side of bread. I had the cheeseburger for lunch one day and this was also DELICIOUS! Finally, the brownie with ice cream (which was more like a chocolate fudge cake) but we had this multiple times! So I would also recommend! They also have live music playing every evening which is nice and the staff also get involved. They also feed the cats which was really sweet! Overall a lovely atmosphere with amazing food and drink! Thank you so much! 😊
Andreana B — Google review
Had the tuna steak here 3 times! & we were only staying on Gili meno for 4 nights. Delicious fresh fish with great vegetables, lovely view & amazing to sit all day on the beach loungers.
Sara S — Google review
Such a great find on our walk around the island. Portion sizes are very generous so even very ambitious eaters will not leave disappointed. They serve Guiness which was surprising. Not as good as it is in Ireland (it never is), but better than most places in the U.K. , which is surprising. Both times we went, they were playing live music which catered for the western market. Several friendly cats are in the restaurant which do not pester for food so are a nice addition to the restaurant vibe. The only surprising thing to this restaurant is that they do not do freshly grilled seafood. The staff are friendly - 10/10 would recommend.
Ralph J — Google review
The food was correct, don’t expect huge gastronomy but the pizzas are actually quite good ! The thing that makes the place special is the live music in the evening. We had some live guitar & singing and it was really a nice atmosphere.
Gaëlle L — Google review
We had lunch at this restaurant twice during our stay on Meno. I would rate it 3.5 stars, leaning towards 3, due to the long wait times on both days (almost an hour each time). Despite this, the setting is lovely, and the staff is friendly with reasonable prices. The food was generally good, especially the Nasi Goreng. The Greek salad was small for the price, likely due to the high cost of fresh vegetables on the island. The pizza was okay but had a very dry crust. Overall, it’s decent, but the long wait times are a significant drawback, especially when it’s not busy.

Cafe
Pachamama Organic Cafe and Private Villa is a charming oasis on Gili Air, offering delicious organic food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The cafe's beautiful design, friendly service, and bohemian feel make it a favorite spot for both vegans and meat eaters. They take pride in making many menu offerings from scratch using locally sourced organic ingredients while being palm oil-free.
We had some of the best food from our whole vacation there. The vegan chicken tapas tasted amazing as well as the ciabatta.😍 we fell in love with this place, the ambience is so beautiful with candles and hanging lights, the staff is so friendly and the food is just incredible. The tropical smoothie tastes so sweet and fresh. We ordered almost all the tapas and left so happy. The main portions are more on the small side but we still left with a full belly.
Victoria G — Google review
⸻ I love everything about Pachamama! It has a peaceful and inviting atmosphere where you get to enjoy delicious food made from fresh and healthy ingredients, while listening to the best music on the island. The service is top notch and the staff put a lot of attention in the details (like serving you a cold eucalyptus-towel upon arrival!). *make sure you try the Brookie Fudge dessert! - just Wow; worth the visit in itself. Big thanks 💛
Mia K — Google review
Pachamama is the best Cafe I’ve ever visited while living on the island! Their matcha is the best, so smooth and flavorful. I love their Spicy Beef Rice Bowl, I thought it wouldn’t suit the local taste, but wow, it was amazing. The staff are also very friendly and make you feel so welcome. Truly one of my favorite places here! 💚
Natalia S — Google review
Discovered Pachamama when I was looking for a chill place to grab dinner after the sunset, it’s only 1 minute from the beach and the vibe was amazing! Beautiful design, and great selection of locally sourced, healthy options. Ended up coming back multiple times during my stay on Gili Air! Couldn’t recommend this place more, the best salads on the island, the smoothies and tapas options were UNREAL 😍✨
Virginia P — Google review
We came here 10 years ago and it was fantastic. It is still fantastic!! Kombucha, dragon fruit smoothie, vegan chicken tapas (trust me, delicious), carrot tapas and the Pachamama burger. All healthy and delicious. Nothing felt unhealthy or heavy. Highly recommended.
Rebecca P — Google review
We were staying just behind this beautifully quirky cafe and what a lovely homely vibe. Great staff, Uber polite and nothing was too much trouble. Try their bullet coffee, it's a banger! We also had their breakfast burrito and eggs with feta and everything was cooked to perfection and their subltle and delicate salad dressing really elevated the entire plate. Great work guys. We look forward to seeing you again.

⸻ ✨ “Pachamama is such a gem in Gili Air! The food was not only delicious but also fresh, healthy, and beautifully presented. You can really feel the love and care in every dish. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a nourishing meal after exploring the island. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty food that makes you feel good!” ✨

I got this place recommended and decided to try it and I had a 10/10 experience - such a lovely café! The atmosphere is very relaxed, super friendly staff and they even made me a custom smoothie bowl that was not on the menu :) would also recommend to try the dessert, they’re great if you have a sweet tooth like me!

Restaurant
Diana Cafe on Gili Meno offers a tranquil beachfront setting, perfect for those seeking a more laid-back nightlife experience compared to the bustling scene on Gili Trawangan. The bamboo thatch bar provides a serene atmosphere where visitors can relax in hammocks and huts while enjoying cocktails or beers. The cafe's quaint beach garden and reggae music add to the chill vibe.
This spot is right off the beach, perfect sitting spot for sunset. I had their fish curry which was amazing.. the only thing I wasn’t prepared for is someone walking up trying to sell things while I try to eat. I’m glad they’re nice about it but It sometimes can be annoying.. the service here was definitely good
Tahiyyah M — Google review
Seating right by the beach was fabulous for sunset we ordered vegetable spring rolls, grilled chicken and chips with salad and iced coffee with milk all delicious so much so that i didn't think too take photos so i will share a sunset photo the staff are wonderful and even brought out mosquito spray and the sun fell which was appreciated
Dianna N — Google review
Good food for å good price. Nothing fancy, but shouldn't expect fancy at that price. Very nice place to have a cheap lunsj or dinner with a beautiful location. We had curry and fried chicken. Not the biggest portions, so decided to order fries as well. After sunset they handed out mosquito spary, which was really kind. Do recomend
Jon-Emil S — Google review
One of the best local small business restaurants on the island. It’s nothing fancy, but the beachfront location is gorgeous, the servers are friendly, and the fish filets are good quality and cooked to be juicy and flavorful. Don’t expect huge portions, but it’s quite a good value for the quality and the price. It was plenty to fill me up (yes, I’m American) and leave satisfied. I would definitely return!
Lance A — Google review
Diana has everything going for it, a prime location on northwest Gili Meno, divine views of Gili Trawangan and the beautiful seas between, and an amazingly energetic and friendly bartender-cum-cashier-cum manager. No wonder Diana is everyone's favourite on the west coast of Meno. Beautiful, colourful boats from the sister Gilis anchor here during the day, in the bay's irridescent and azure waters. This is the best snorkeling site in the Gilis. So, come lunchtime and it can be difficult to get a seat. Wait times for your order can reach 45 minutes to an hour. Just grab a beer first or coconut water and wait patiently for your turn. The prices are amazingly moderate for a location this good. And there's no surprise taxes and service charges, unlike several restaurants on this strip. The food is delicious. I especially liked the local Sasak cuisine, orap orap and ulah ulah. The coconut water was awesome too.
Saurabh — Google review
Absolutely lovely here. The food was great, lots of local stuff and all delicious. Super affordable, and excellent service. They were happy to take care of our bags while we went snorkeling. We ate 3 meals here and they were all excellent.
Eli D — Google review
Amazing view, delicious food and friendly staff! We took the tuna steak and the fried noodles, the fish was very good. We also loved the banana milk shake and the banana/coconut/chocolate pancake. Nice place to chill & eat after snorkeling :) !

Nestled in the heart of Gili Air, Musa Cookery is a delightful haven for those seeking inventive vegetarian cuisine. This charming eatery, just a short stroll from the main road, offers an array of healthy vegan dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. One standout item is their cold Spirulina Smoothie Bowl, packed with protein and vitamins—perfect for recharging in Indonesia's warm climate!
I had the best vegan food I’ve ever tasted at Musa Cookery! The pumpkin soup with coconut milk was not only delicious but beautifully decorated with a heart shape. You can choose between potato or bread, and we went for the potatoes—they were the freshest, crunchiest ones I’ve ever had. The platter for two was insanely delicious, offering a variety of different items to mix and match. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! The staff were incredibly sweet, and the overall vibe and spirit of the restaurant made the experience even better. Thank you for this beautiful evening

We went there almost ever single day for weeks and looooved it so much!!! Very fresh healthy food - extremely friendly staff every single day - sometimes even a cold towel before food. You get free cold water and a very chill view. We loved it. Our absolutely favorites were the Banh Mi and the Gyros. It is Cash only so be prepared for that. Breakfast Lunch Dinner all very much recommended!
Sunny — Google review
We had amazing vegetarian food at this place. The snack platzer for two and the pumpkin-carrot soup. Both were in point. Freshly made and you really could feel the love and effort they put into the food. Also everything was well seasoned and refined with aromatic flavours and spices. Team wirking there had a great energy! Thank all of you and keep it up🙌🏽

Great food. Great vibe. Great staff. This cafe is a great bicycle pit stop with exceptionally friendly staff members and yummy smoothie bowels and juices. The decor, ambiance and overall atmosphere is trendy and relaxing. A definite must!
Megan C — Google review
Excellent food! The raw cacao + coco Musa bowl was an absolute killer, crazy good. Their desserts are lush (especially the brownie) and their mains, especially the soup, were great as well. We kept returning to Musa during our stay here, and I'm still daydreaming about those bowls...
Susan Z — Google review
One of the tastiest places on Gili with lovely and very friendly staff. Who would have thought we could get a delicious vegan jackfruit gyro in Indonesia?! 10/10 been here a few times and will be sad to leave. Huge portions, amazing soy coffees and smoothies. You’ll not be disappointed 💃🌯🥗
Scarlett B — Google review
We had a delicious healthy, beautifully presented breakfast here! Chilled atmosphere, friendly staff. Reasonably priced ✅
Charlotte C — Google review
Excellent restaurant with exlcusively vegan food. We ate here twice with friends because we all liked it so much. To get a taste of the variety, our friends had the mix platter of which every dish was delicious and my partner and I had the Musa Burger and the Jackfruit Gyro the first time. The Burger is delicious, has more weight to it and the patty super tasty. The Jackfruit Gyro had great texture and is so tasty as well as refreshing with its white sauce. I highly recommend both dishes although I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire menu was just as good. The staff are infinitely kind and caring. Within the 3 days of coming here, the lady that waited on us remembered the few words of luxembourgish we taught here which is very impressive. The chocolate cake (which wasn’t called that) was also light and moist and perfect to finish of our first evening! The red wine (chilean syrah) wasn’t the best unfortunately but I’m sure the white wine (chileab chardonnay) is a safer choice. As for the atmosphere, the place is on a small road, away from any noise and is pretty tranquil. Can highly recommend coming here even as a non-vegan (such as ourselves) to discover some new flavours and to experience the kind service of the restaurant!

The menu features diverse options suitable for various dietary preferences, although it may require some scrutiny to make informed choices. Overall, Sharkbites provides great value for delicious food in a beautiful beach setting on Gili Air.
Ate like Queens! Highly recommend the kabob, curry, Mac n Cheese, Chicken Lollipop (drumstick) and Greek salad. Food was really fast and the ambiance was perfect. Played some darts while we waited for food. Even my picky eater kiddo said it was great and would go back. Family friendly and the beer was great too. I recommend the Island Hoppin.

Had a great afternoon here, the old one drink turns into multiple story. The barman is VERY skilled in his cocktail making efficient, professional and the results were amazing. Great selection of craft beer from Indonesia, I thought that was good. Lovely setting, can watch the main road. Service was tops, the two guys worked perfectly together when busy, and time for a chat when not. Highly recommend. Dart board available too.

I came here for the Craft Beers, and wasn't disappointed! Good amount of different choices! Had a few snacks with them aswell, and they were pretty good! Friendly bartenders also, but it was a quiet afternoon... And good music that was not to loud! Thank you Shark Bites!

Shark Bites is an amazing bar to sit and and watch the world go by and enjoy a delicious cocktail !! The team where amazing but a special shout out to Red you are a legend. We are here also a few times and the food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the Loaded Bloody Mary, Strawberry Marg, Mac n cheese and fish fingers !!! We will be back for bingo !!

Best Word to describe the food is: meh Nothing bad or especially good. Average. I ordered a burger with a brioche bund, but it was not fluffy. More like a day old. Staff were not attentive neither busy but we waited for both ordering and drinks. Better restaurants around.
Svend R — Google review
Great place for playing their famous Rock & Roll Bingo every second Thursday, where you can win one of the most wanted T-shirts from the island. The food is really delicious. They also have good vegetarian and vegan options. All staff is very friendly and always happy to assist you.
Simon M — Google review
Great food, great quality, reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Would 100% recommend.
Adam B — Google review
I was really craving a burger and went for the ‘kofte’ - I was not expecting the whole top of the bun to be soaked in sauce. I sat and stared at it for a moment trying to figure out how best to approach it. Today’s officially the first day I’ve ever eaten a burger with a knife and fork. ✅ Everything about the burger was delicious - I’m not complaining about the food! I just personally wasn’t a fan of the top being drenched in sauce. A heads up for anyone who decides to order that particular one… it’s tasty, just maybe request the sauce to stay inside the bun if you want to avoid having the whole thing slide through your fingers. 🤪😅 Also didn’t like that people could smoke in the restaurant. Kinda gross when you’re eating.

An absolutely must go when visiting Gili T. We stumbled across this place while exploring the island and it was incredible. We realised it was cash only and we didn’t have enough after sitting down. The owner was really understanding and even offered for us to pay the next day if that was easier for us. The food was 10/10. It was rich, well portioned and balanced and presented impeccably. We couldn’t decide what the best dish was as they were all amazing. We were really impressed with everything and will definitely come back when we visit again!
Lea D — Google review
The food is delicious! Although we left wishing we had tried the Grandma’s slow-cooked beef — if you’re reading this and you’re there, order it! It’s the star of the menu. The ravioli were amazing, and the service was excellent. The only downside is they only accept cash.
MARIA P — Google review
If you’re in Gili T, you have to come here! It was the best food we had on the island, and we tried quite a lot of places. The dishes are beautifully presented, generous in portion, and full of flavor. The food here is truly amazing. I had the chicken with peanut sauce and my wife had the vegan pot, both were spot on. The homemade wine is also a must-try. The place itself is beautiful, perfect for watching an amazing sunset, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Héctor R — Google review
A MUST visit on Gili T. The food is UNBELIEVABLE. The staff are all so kind. The setting is so romantic, lovely, and chilled. A great spot for the sunset too. It can look like its not busy on arrival but there are tables right on the beach front that you cant see from the street. The ice was safe to drink and staff were kind and reassuring about not getting bali belly from their ice or drinks. The kitchen was immaculate. 100% recommend! All the food we ate was divine but definitely recommend a langos to start!
JJ W — Google review
Best place on the island!! Please do yourself a favor a try it. We asked for the mixed langos, the pineapple wine, the caribbean beef chili and jamaican chicken curry. Everything was AMAZING! So tasty, rich and visibly homemade. And the portions were really fulfilling! Also, the place was beautiful! So nicely decorated 😍 But the best was the staff! Everyone was really friendly and attentive. You can tell this people work with love.
Carola P — Google review
This must be the best tasting food on Gili T or perhaps in all of Indonesia. We shared 5 different dishes and they were just amazing. The service is also superb. This is just a unique restaurant on Gili T. It is not Indonesia classical cuisine, but the home made pasta, and ravioli with the best tasting tomato sauce in the world. The beef stew is outstanding. Have to come back to this restaurant. 💚😋
Thomas W — Google review
Impressive! Seafood and beef stew were super flavorful. Oh dont forget to order Caribbean Patty (special menu of the day we went). i really think some dishes here are worth Michelin Star.
Wijitra S — Google review
The food here is fantastic, ambience peaceful & staff are extremely lovely. We tried their chicken dish & beef chilli & mixed langos. On our first night we went & bought Nutella & took it back & asked them to make us Nutella langos like we had in the Winter European Christmas markets. So yummy & we left them the jar of Nutella so they could try. We went back on our last night for our dessert & all the staff were smiling as they all tried Nutella Langos.

Pearl Beach Lounge is a unique beachfront restaurant and lounge located in Gili Trawangan, Indonesia. The two-story structure is constructed almost entirely of bamboo, giving it a distinct and beautiful appearance. It offers a laid-back nightlife atmosphere where guests can enjoy fantastic meals under the roof or relax on the beach with a bottle of beer on beanbags and loungers. The oceanfront location provides stunning views of the horizon, complemented by the sound of crashing waves blending with lively music at night.
Stayed at Pearl for a week, breakfast is amazing and every single dish I ordered at dinner was perfect. Risotto, pad thai, ribeye and dessert. This restaurant is the best!!
Patrick K — Google review
I’ve been to Pearl more than once. The first time it was for dinner with friends. We’ve had the Green Papaya salad, Ribeye, Fruit Juices and Gili Nut for dessert. The place is very fancy with a great atmosphere, low light, faces the beach and it’s all open, and you can feel the breeze coming from the sea. We’ve received welcome focaccia bread. Amazing. The only issue was related to the safety. We’re at the second floor, and there’s a step not identified, and I almost fell over. Unfortunately, one of my friends fell over and almost hurt herself on the same step. Apart from it, the rest of the experience has been great.
Fabiana R — Google review
Good food and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is nice and a bit cozy, but a few things pulled the experience down slightly. The tables were soft and uneven, which made it tricky to place a glass or bottle of water without it wobbling. The floor also made quite a lot of noise when walked on, and the lighting was a bit dark, which might bother some people during dinner. That said, the food itself was solid – especially the desserts, which were large, rich, and beautifully presented. Prices were on the higher side for the island, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. If you’re already nearby, it’s a great place to dine. However, if you have the option, I’d recommend checking out their sister restaurant, Cloud 9, which gave us an even better all-round experience.

Beautiful ambiance and flavorful dishes. The mie goreng was rich and satisfying, with crispy crackers and sambal adding a great touch. The curry was creamy and aromatic, and the roti with dips brought a fun fusion element. A cozy, well-executed dining experience in Bali.

The food was good, the chicken burger was pretty tasty, and the rice paper rolls was a good starter. Service was great, super friendly and helpful.

We stopped by to look at the delicious menu and decided to do a quick lunch. Turned out to be the best meal here so far! Roasted mushroom pasta was super yummy and you can taste the butter used for this dish. Catch of the day was Tuna and they grilled it just right since tuna can easily become dry and tough. Service was swift! Well done guys!

I had dinner at Pearl Beach Lounge, and the experience was delightful. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hummus was tasty, though a bit hard, perhaps a bit more olive oil could make it softer and fresher when served. The beef dish was enjoyable, even though I'm not a beef expert. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with a busy yet peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to enjoy my meal in peace. Overall, a great place for a relaxing dinner!

The food was great. Found this on my 3rd day at Gili and wished I tried it earlier. We tried the beef quesadilla, hummus, goat tacos, mushroom risotto (not actually rice), brownie (more like a cake but huge and nice) and the apple crumble 👌Also had most of their breakfast options as we stayed at the hotel. Also recommended. Staff is very nice and prices on the menu are net (all restaurants in island add around another 20% for service and tax). This makes the prices even better than others. Well worth it and great view from upstairs.

Restaurant
Karma Kayak is a tranquil dining spot nestled in the northern part of Gili Trawangan, located within a resort on the island. Guests can savor Spanish tapas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as indulge in bonfire BBQ. The restaurant offers a serene ambiance where patrons can dine on the sandy beach and even take a refreshing swim while waiting for their meals.
Karma Kayak is a comfortable and cute resort in the north of Gili T. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed our time. The beachfront access is really convenient with frequent turtle sightings a few metres out to shore. The service from Grace, Risman and the rest of the staff was great and they were always willing to help. Breakfast was included in our stay and the options were fantastic - I suggest getting the french toast for breakfast and Korean tofu for lunch or dinner. If you do not want to walk with a lot of luggage then this may not be the best place for you. We refused to use the horse and kart service on the island as many of the horses do not look happy.

Amazing food and helpful staff! You don’t have to pay for a sun bed or beanbag if you are buying a drink or food. This is great as the setting is perfect by the beach. Not far from places to hire snorkel gear if needed. You can easily snorkel straight from here. The food is amazing with plenty of choice. The staff are very helpful and polite.

Loved, loved, loved the restaurant here. Food was delicious! Out of our five dinners, we had every dinner here. Great choice of food that is different, but not too different, from the usual fare. Vegans and vegetarians catered for too. The staff were friendly and polite. We will definitely miss this place!! ❤️

This was honestly the best burger I’ve ever had! It’s my second year visiting Gili T, and I always make sure to come back here just for their burger, they’re that good. The patty is juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, with fresh ingredients that make every bite enjoyable. The portion size is great too, definitely worth the price. I also tried the sangria, which was nicely served and refreshing. It might be missing a little touch of cinnamon to make it perfect, but overall it was still very good, especially for the price. The atmosphere of the place is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a meal after a long day on the island. The staff are friendly and attentive, which adds to the experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back every time I’m on Gili T.

So great a place🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We stayed here for 7 days and we didn’t regret choosing this part of the island for a second! The North part is more quiet that the busy Main Street in the east. But other restaurants still accessible on foot or by bike. If you want to explore the island, pls. Rent a bike or e-motorbike. The week we stayed here we didn’t experience this side as windy as the other parts. The staff was perfect - funny and very helpful. The owner is a nice Dutch woman who make sure that the rooms as well as the restaurant is clean. Breakfast is nice and served by the beach 🏖️ Turtles is just at the shore 🐢in shallow water;) Have to add that the duvets and pillows are really good 👍 Recommend this place☀️

Me and my partner went here for dinner last night, the service was exceptional. The staff were very welcoming, professional and polite. The food was also really great, we had a mix of things from the tapas menu. Location was really nice with nice lighting everywhere! Highly recommend.

We ordered lunch here and we had a great time. There are places to sit and lie on the beach, in the sun and shadow. The music was chill and service was good. There was enough vegetarian and vegan food and different styles (tacos, korean, tapas, etc)

Not sure about the hotel. But the beach restaurant it’s really good! Good food or good value. We’ve been to a few others beach restaurants in Gili t and this is so far the best.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport

International airport
Airport
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International, is the main gateway to Bali. Situated in the southern part of the island, it hosts numerous international and domestic flights daily. The airport is conveniently located near various accommodations such as Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua and Maya Sanur Resort & Spa, both offering seamless transfers from the airport.
Bali Airport (Ngurah Rai International Airport) is well-maintained and offers a pleasant experience for travelers. There are plenty of good eateries and shopping options throughout the terminal. A nice touch is the availability of foot massage services inside the airport, which can be a great way to relax before or after a flight. The washrooms are generally clean and thoughtfully decorated with fresh flowers, adding a refreshing, local touch. Additionally, the Klook or Grab pickup point features an air-conditioned seating lounge, which is very convenient, especially when waiting for your ride. Flights get rescheduled/delayed quite often so check and confirm before you reach airport. Overall, the airport provides a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for both arrivals and departures.

A great airport experience! Ngurah Rai International Airport is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful, from immigration to security. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and souvenir stores to enjoy while waiting for your flight. The traditional Balinese design elements throughout the terminal add a unique cultural touch. Everything ran smoothly, and I was impressed by the efficiency and atmosphere. Highly recommended for travelers coming to or leaving Bali!

I like the arrival terminal more than the departure one. The arrival is way more beautiful, you can find dozens of food stalls and affordable minimarket. While in the departure, things are so expensive and only limited food stalls are available. However the staff in both terminal are nice and friendly.

🌍 Good international airport overall especially great for departures. The departure process is smooth and well-organized, with a clean and modern terminal. ✈️ Arrivals are decent, but be prepared for long lines at visa on arrival, immigration, and customs. It can easily take 2 to 3 hours just to get through everything, especially during peak times. 💰 Currency exchange rates at the airport are very high, so it’s better to exchange only a small amount here and look for better rates in the city. 💧One important note: You are not allowed to bring even sealed water bottles past security. You’ll need to buy water after the security check, so keep that in mind –l water is treated like a precious commodity inside the airport. Overall, a good airport with modern facilities, but prepare for a slow arrival process and some inconveniences related to costs and waiting times.

Pretty cool airport—modern and clean with lots of motorbikes and taxis available right outside. When I arrived it wasn’t busy at all, which made it easy to get through. There are also plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. One tip: I got my visa through the computer kiosk before baggage claim, but then I still waited in the long line not realizing I could bypass it. The long lines are really for people getting their visa in person and maybe paying cash. If you fill out the arrival card online ahead of time and use the kiosk, you can skip that line completely. It’s an easy process and much faster.
Lydia C — Google review
Upon arrival, everything was surprisingly seamless and efficient. The process flowed smoothly from immigration to baggage claim, and I was out of the airport within about 30 minutes of landing, which was impressive. One unique touch I really appreciated was at baggage claim — there was someone standing with a pillow to catch luggage as it came off the belt to prevent bags from slamming or getting damaged. A small detail, but one that stood out and felt thoughtful. When exiting baggage claim, you’re immediately greeted by beautiful greenery, which makes for a warm and inviting first impression of Bali. It felt like a gentle welcome into the island’s nature-filled aesthetic. I stayed at the Novotel Airport Hotel, and while the location is incredibly convenient, navigating to it was not. There are no clear signs that say “Novotel”, so I ended up confused, wandering through a parking garage and even passing construction areas. It felt awkward and far more chaotic than it should have been. Only the next day did I discover there is a direct and simple path that connects the airport to the hotel internally — I just hadn’t been guided the right way. Better signage or staff direction would make a huge difference for first-time guests. The departure experience was less smooth. It was difficult to get assistance and felt confusing at times. The airport app and staff both informed me that my flight was delayed, but it turned out not to be delayed, which created unnecessary stress. There was also a moment at check-in where they tried to have me sign a waiver for damage to my luggage — damage that had actually occurred on my arrival. I declined to sign, but it still made the process uncomfortable and unclear. Bali’s airport has charm, thoughtful touches, and efficiency on arrival — but navigation and communication could be better, especially for hotel access and departure procedures. Still, between the warm welcome, friendly first impressions, and airport amenities, I’d travel through here again — just a little more prepared next time.
Latisha D — Google review
The international departure area of Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport is spacious, clean, and fairly well-organised. While there are only two main lounges on the 2nd floor, the terminal makes up for it with plenty of shops and dining options—especially on the first floor, where you’ll find a wide variety of local and international brands. Everything on the departure side feels smooth and pleasant, with clear signage and helpful staff. However, the arrival experience can be quite hectic. Baggage claim tends to be slow, and the crowds at immigration can feel overwhelming during peak hours. Still, once you’re past that, the departure experience is relatively relaxed and easy to navigate. If they can fix the hectic chaos at the arrival side, then it would be perfect

Lombok International Airport

International airport
Lombok International Airport (LOP) serves as the gateway to a diverse range of attractions. The west coast, north of Sengigi and the serene islands near Bangko Bangko, offer surfing opportunities for both beginners and experienced surfers. The south coast is characterized by cliffs, rocky terrain, and deep bays that provide flexibility in swell size. While the three Gili Islands are popular destinations, the main island of Lombok and the South Gili Islands have much to offer adventurous divers.
Lombok 🇮🇩 International Airport 🛃🛅🛄🛂 is either recently renovated or newly built. It’s impressive because the design uses colour, space and light smartly. 😎 Being new, it has a high ceiling and the ceiling allows ample ambient 🌅lights into the building. The walls are also in white bright colour tones and this gives it a Big Spacious feel, very welcoming. 😊 (See my pictures 📸 and video 🎥) The airport ✈️ reallocated the pick up points to be much further back. This is a brilliant 💡 design consideration. Instead of pick-up right at the front door and you have hundreds of people 🧑‍🧑‍🧒🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧒‍🧒crowding around and holding up name boards, it gives the opportunity for the passengers to walk 🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️out to a more spacious area to find their pick drivers 🚙🚗🚕. On departure, there are lots of restaurants to eat 🍔🍜🥘from including a Starbucks café ☕️. You have Indonesia Food, Western, Sandwich…etc and some shopping 🛍️ areas in the middle. The domestic flights 🛩️ are separated from the international flight 🛫area and both have ample space to wait, charge your mobile devices 🔋🪫and eat 🍴🍽️comfortably. I enjoy coming to this airport. So if you are departing, do come early and just hang around. If you are lucky like me, you might even catch a live performance! 😜

1 hour to get luggage and they opened it forcefully instead of using TSA approved lock on my samsonite. Damaged zipper and damaged wheels. I know my bag was opened because it was arranged differently when opened at hotel. Never keep valuables in your suitcase. Update: turns out security dropped items from my suitcase, did not admit or report and tried to cover it up.

Lombok International Airport is very clean and relatively small, with fast service—perhaps because there isn’t much traffic. However, I was quite disappointed with the accessibility features. The escalator and elevator are unusable if you arrive from the domestic terminal, so passengers must use the stairs to reach the baggage claim area. This can be very inconvenient for people with disabilities or those traveling with heavy luggage.

I had a deeply unpleasant and distressing experience with an immigration officer at Gate 6, Counter 5 on 27 July 2025, around 5:30 PM, during the processing for Flight QZ 463 to Kuala Lumpur. While lining up for immigration, I noticed travelers in front of me handing their passports together. Thinking it was allowed, I called my sister—who was behind me—to hand our passports together. However, the officer became angry and shouted at me, saying passport must be handed one by one. I immediately apologized, that I misunderstood the process (this was my 1st time travelling abroad). I thought the issue was settled—but it escalated further. When it was my sister’s turn, the officer HELD HER PASSPORT and instructed her to step aside WITHOUT GIVING ANY REASON. He also shouted at me and my friends, ordering us to not wait for my sister and to proceed to the waiting area. When we asked another officer why her passport was being held, we were bluntly told to "ikut perintah" (“follow orders”), with no explanation. I told the others to go ahead, but I stayed behind because I was worried for my sister. Eventually, after all the other travellers had been processed, (took nearly 20 minutes. Our boarding time was 5.40pm) the officer called and returned her passport and scolded her, saying not to behave like that again and to “be respectful.” This entire situation was extremely upsetting. The officer’s behavior was not only unprofessional and inappropriate—it was an abuse of authority. His actions created a hostile and intimidating environment and left us feeling humiliated and traumatized. This experience has completely discouraged us from ever visiting Indonesia again. I will not be recommending Lombok to any of my friends. I strongly urge the relevant authorities to investigate this matter and ensure no other travelers are subjected to such treatment.

Small cozy Airport! From here you can go Kuala-Lumpur and Singapore too.

Spacious, clean, not crowded. Cleared international customs in 5minutes. Lots of eateries (even Starbucks) and shops for you to do final shopping. Make sure you eat before going to the international gates as they only have like a 7-eleven once you are at the international gates area. Toilets are clean. This airport beats Bali, Phuket, BKK. There’s even a virtual desk in case you need assistance. There’s free wifi provided.
