Even thought the food does that really good, it will most likely give you the Bali Belly. We had dinner there and starting the next morning we were having some belly issues. It’s not allowed to fish around the island which is why the fish comes from Bali or Lombok and is not properly cooled on the way or at the market. Wouldn’t recommend, just go to have a look and experience the atmosphere.

Good place to have a seafood dinner at Gili Trawangan The price is quite cheap than the other restaurant, but inside the night market area there are so many tenants that selling their fish, prawn, lobster, and skewers Our tenant was Borobudur02, right in front of the entrance door. They have so many fresh seafood, also skewers. By ordering the seafood and skewers, you will get free rice and vegetables and you can refill until you fill full ✌️ They have so manu variant of sauce, but we just go with their suggestions. We ordered fish, green mussels, squid and some skewers The taste was not so good, but the meat are all very fresh so I think it will be good enough but not perfect for the taste Really recommended place in Gili Trawangan 👍

Visited the food night market for the experience It's was pretty crowded as you get many fresh sea food grill options here There are many stalls and pretty much all the stalls have the same dishes to offer. The rates are standard you can bargain here but we didn't bargain much Just tried one grilled snapper which was really great in taste Wanted to try more but the only con of this place is the hygiene The grill station for each stall isn't very hygienic Hence to be safe from Bali belly just tried one dish for the experience

Regina Pizzeria has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere that truly feels Italian, bringing people together around the table to share food and conversation. It has the charm of a classic Italian restaurant, but in a simple, open space, near the beach. The place feels cosy and welcoming, with a menu full of pizza and pasta options. The pizzas are delicious. One pizza can serve one to two people, and there is a great variety of flavours. You can also ask for half-and-half pizzas, which is a great way to try more of what they offer. The crust is thin, the flavour is excellent, and the pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven. All the favours I tried were delicious. Highly recommend

After ten days of local food, we were ready for a little taste of home — and this place absolutely delivered. Tucked away off the beaten track, this small Thai-run restaurant might look unassuming, but it’s clearly earned its five star Google reviews. The pizzas were fast, fresh, generously sized, and frankly better than the ones we recently had in Milan. You’re greeted by the sight (and smell) of a big brick pizza oven — an instant reassurance that you’re in for something good. I had the salami with fresh pesto and couldn’t help wondering why I’ve never seen that combination before. My wife chose the tuna and onion, which was equally delicious. Dessert is served from a dedicated gelato stall within the restaurant itself — again, as good as anything you’d find in Italy. All in all, a fantastic find and a much-needed western food fix.

We had a great dinner here with my family. The pizzas are really good, crispy thin and with good toppings. We also had spaghetti Carbonara, raviolis with ricotta and raviolis with beef ragu and beef filling . I highly recommend the Beef raviolis. Only downside, taxes are not included in the price (10%) i think they should be specified more clearly. All in all a very good experience, you get a lot of Parmesan cheese with each meal !!! Good place for Italian meal . You have all kind of pizza, and spagitte all king. Teasty and large. Fast service. Pizza is only one size so if you are a single it is a problem :( The also have an ice cream on the front. Only 5-6 teast but delicious. You can also get icecream from the front. The place is a little bit to big so not perfect for romantic meal.

Ordered the funghi and water. Loved that I didn’t have to specify extra crispy. All components were well prepared and the ratios made sense. I like my pizza sauce a bit less sweet, but it wouldn’t keep me from eating here again. Saved the crusts and ate them later. Recommend.

The best place to eat on the island. The owner is extremely hands on to maintain quality and service is super quick. Prices are great. I had the aubergine 🍆 and margarita , my wife had the spaghetti 🍝. Both were excellent. Its open for dinner only.

This amazing Pizzeria on a small island, serves pizzas that taste close to pizzas in Napoli which itself is a great achievement. I was in Gili T for 5 nights and visited Regina Pizzeria on 3 nights. Every time my meal was wonderful and left happy.

The food is delicious! Although we left wishing we had tried the Grandma’s slow-cooked beef — if you’re reading this and you’re there, order it! It’s the star of the menu. The ravioli were amazing, and the service was excellent. The only downside is they only accept cash.

If you’re in Gili T, you have to come here! It was the best food we had on the island, and we tried quite a lot of places. The dishes are beautifully presented, generous in portion, and full of flavor. The food here is truly amazing. I had the chicken with peanut sauce and my wife had the vegan pot, both were spot on. The homemade wine is also a must-try. The place itself is beautiful, perfect for watching an amazing sunset, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Couldn’t recommend it more!

A MUST visit on Gili T. The food is UNBELIEVABLE. The staff are all so kind. The setting is so romantic, lovely, and chilled. A great spot for the sunset too. It can look like its not busy on arrival but there are tables right on the beach front that you cant see from the street. The ice was safe to drink and staff were kind and reassuring about not getting bali belly from their ice or drinks. The kitchen was immaculate. 100% recommend! All the food we ate was divine but definitely recommend a langos to start!

Best place on the island!! Please do yourself a favor a try it. We asked for the mixed langos, the pineapple wine, the caribbean beef chili and jamaican chicken curry. Everything was AMAZING! So tasty, rich and visibly homemade. And the portions were really fulfilling! Also, the place was beautiful! So nicely decorated 😍 But the best was the staff! Everyone was really friendly and attentive. You can tell this people work with love.

This must be the best tasting food on Gili T or perhaps in all of Indonesia. We shared 5 different dishes and they were just amazing. The service is also superb. This is just a unique restaurant on Gili T. It is not Indonesia classical cuisine, but the home made pasta, and ravioli with the best tasting tomato sauce in the world. The beef stew is outstanding. Have to come back to this restaurant. 💚😋

Impressive! Seafood and beef stew were super flavorful. Oh dont forget to order Caribbean Patty (special menu of the day we went). i really think some dishes here are worth Michelin Star.

The food here is fantastic, ambience peaceful & staff are extremely lovely. We tried their chicken dish & beef chilli & mixed langos. On our first night we went & bought Nutella & took it back & asked them to make us Nutella langos like we had in the Winter European Christmas markets. So yummy & we left them the jar of Nutella so they could try. We went back on our last night for our dessert & all the staff were smiling as they all tried Nutella Langos.

I have passed this place 200+ times. Today I finally took the plunge and had the half chicken with gravy. It was excellent. Falls off the bone. The gravy is lovely, really well priced. I am surprised it's not busier. This is why we always skipped it as there was no one ever in. If you go, you will be impressed 100%

This place is absolutely stunning. The food is delicious. Gambas pil pil are absolutely gorgeous. The roast chicken and roast chicken roll 😋 wow so good. We were here for 3 days and visited twice. Also the gin and tonics . Wow with lemongrass. Delicious 🥰

Went in mid afternoon, only customer there. Ordered fish and chips and a smoothie. Smoothie came in a decent time. Was a very good smoothie. Fish and chips just didn't come. 30 minutes later after asking 3 people where it was one lady told me they couldn't do fish and chips for some reason. I suspect they just forgot to add it to the order. Although how you forget half of my order when I'm the only person there I don't know.

Tuna tataki,mackerel, shrimp taco and prawns were all excellent. Also loved the mixed berry Daiquiri.

Our favourite little spot on Gili Meno! Amazing staff, great food & incredible sunset views. Live bands were great and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Cap Cay & Mega Burger were particularly amazing! We came back 3 times because it was so lovely. You can also see heaps of turtles whilst you’re enjoying a bintang on the bean bags!

After reading the reviews, I also tried the chicken soup and chicken curry. It was incredibly delicious from the very first spoonful — I honestly didn’t expect that. I highly recommend this place, make sure to try those dishes! The staff is very warm and polite.

Amazing dinner there. The chicken Curry was the best I ever had and I do eat a lot of this home in Bali ! Everyone was super friendly ( except maybe cashier lady ) and the live music + fire show was awesome! Highly recommended

Great food, friendly service, and excellent value! We ate at Tiki Groove twice during our stay – the food was so good we had to come back! The service is excellent, and a nice touch is that they offer mosquito spray when you arrive, which shows they really care about their guests. The prices are also very reasonable considering the quality. We especially loved the tacos, which come with their own signature hot sauce – you can choose between medium or strong, and both are delicious. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit!

Tiki Groove is awesome! This is our go-to restaurant because the food—or should I say the cocktails—are that good. The tacos with their signature hot sauce were our favourite — so tasty! The staff are super friendly, and I loved that they offer mosquito spray and a fan to keep cool. Shows they really care about making you comfortable. Prices were totally reasonable for how good the food is. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re around! Make sure you book as you don’t want to miss out! P.S. We had the absolute best time at Tiki Grove for dinner this week! The staff are super lovely and got us set up straight away with handheld fans and bug spray while we looked over the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered the veggie tacos and one without tomato salsa as I am not keen on tomato’s and I was offered pineapple salsa as a replacement and it was delicious! The vibe in the restaurant is immaculate, the lighting and the decorations are just beautiful. On our way out a member of staff (didn’t catch the name sorry!) saw we had an empty water bottle and asked if we would like it refilled. It was very kind and we are very grateful! Planning on coming back for dinner again before we leave Gili T! ☺️

The tacos here are fantastic! I was considering having another order, but i settled on their lemon tart for dessert instead and was not disappointed! I also had two Bloody Mary's and was very pleased with how well they were made. It's hard to find a place that knows how to make a decent drink, especially a bloody mary. They provided excellent service, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend for any occasion!

I want to quit my job and move to Gili so I can eat here every single night. The food, the cocktails, the service.. everything was 5 star. We had a big group of 16 ppl and our lovely server Miff remembered all of our names and managed to give us all individual cheques that were perfect every time. We made our way through the cocktail menu and every drink was a stand out. The chicken bites were AMAZING and I’ll be trying and failing to recreate them at home. This was my favourite restaurant in Gili and I’ll be telling everyone I know who goes there to visit Tiki Grove!

Amazing restaurant! The food and atmosphere here is incredible, we loved everything about it. The tacos and the fries were perfect, and the drinks were great (strong) but tasted great. The staff and setting is perfect, everyone is so helpful and attentive and a real nice buzz around.

Love this place, one of the best places to eat at on Gili T. We went there three times during our short stay on the island and tried most dishes on the menu. The food is consistently amazing! The atmoshpere is vibrant and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Everytime we went there the place was packed and we had no reservation, but we didn’t have to wait long before we got a table. Jali Kitchen offers an unforgettable culinary experience that should frankly be illegal for being this good! This might be a super underrated spot, perhaps due to its slightly more inland location on Gili Trawangan, but it absolutely deserves far more visitors. The Trawangan Super cocktail is an absolute must-try; it's so dazzlingly good, you'll lose track of how many you've had. Don't miss their tempeh, creatively prepared in a variety of delicious ways. For a main course, the Nasi Goreng Ala Jali is truly amazing. To top it all off, the Coconut Lemon Cake is as spectacular as the cocktail, providing a perfect end to a fantastic meal.

Wow. Delicious. The lemongrass pork skewer was different to what we had imagined, but was still so delicious! Also had fish and chips and tofu rice - amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try more items.

wanted to love this place: views are stunning, tables have lots of shade, staff is friendly. but the nasi goreng was super dry, and the “seafood” in it was only three pieces of shrimp. nothing else mixed into the rice. after breakfast we went snorkeling out front and there are loads of beautiful corals though ! stars mostly given for location

Here on a snorkeling trip. Clearly disorganized. After waiting 30 minutes to take our order our food eventually arrived, however both our drinks were wrong and all the dishes (except one) was correct They are not setup to take a lot of guests at once. They need to improve their organization as we could see a lot of others very unhappy Great location and all but aside to the unorganized staff the food was very average. Small portions and very little taste. I suspect the boat companies have some relationship with this restaurant.

Gad gado had tree pieces of tofu and one tempeh. I don't see why to cheap out on this. Both ingredients are very cheap here. Taste was good though. Shrimp curry had shrimp with their hard shells still on. So we had to pull out our sleeves, fish out the shrimp and clean them ourselves.

Prices are ok , the taste is okayish , we ate there because our boat stopped there after the snorkeling activity ( like every other people there ) otherwise there is not a single reason to stop there … The waiter picked my beer bottle even after telling him it’s not empty before putting it back like he didn’t care. It doesn’t represent Indonesia :) they can do better but not sure they want to ! Being a tourist ( mandatory stop ) shouldn’t prevent quality and good service. Ho I forgot , the harassing guys with souvenirs while you eat … cherry in the cake

I got food poisoning here – and on top of that, the service was absolutely terrible. The staff could barely speak English, making even the simplest communication frustrating. They don’t serve food at the same time if you’re dining with others, which ruins the entire meal experience. Worse yet, they had no idea who ordered what, and they actually took away my plate and then later claimed I hadn’t even been served. This place is disorganized, unhygienic, and completely unprofessional. Stay far away – there are plenty of better places around that won’t leave you sick and disappointed.

This is a great place to eat. Stunning views. It is better to come here to eat than to a nearby cafe, where all boats bring tourists, because it is tastier, cheaper and dishes are prepared and served faster. There was the most delicious and sweetest coconut in my life. I was pleasantly surprised.

Had a great afternoon here, the old one drink turns into multiple story. The barman is VERY skilled in his cocktail making efficient, professional and the results were amazing. Great selection of craft beer from Indonesia, I thought that was good. Lovely setting, can watch the main road. Service was tops, the two guys worked perfectly together when busy, and time for a chat when not. Highly recommend. Dart board available too.

I came here for the Craft Beers, and wasn't disappointed! Good amount of different choices! Had a few snacks with them aswell, and they were pretty good! Friendly bartenders also, but it was a quiet afternoon... And good music that was not to loud! Thank you Shark Bites!

Shark Bites is an amazing bar to sit and and watch the world go by and enjoy a delicious cocktail !! The team where amazing but a special shout out to Red you are a legend. We are here also a few times and the food is fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the Loaded Bloody Mary, Strawberry Marg, Mac n cheese and fish fingers !!! We will be back for bingo !!

Best Word to describe the food is: meh Nothing bad or especially good. Average. I ordered a burger with a brioche bund, but it was not fluffy. More like a day old. Staff were not attentive neither busy but we waited for both ordering and drinks. Better restaurants around.

Great place for playing their famous Rock & Roll Bingo every second Thursday, where you can win one of the most wanted T-shirts from the island. The food is really delicious. They also have good vegetarian and vegan options. All staff is very friendly and always happy to assist you.

I was really craving a burger and went for the ‘kofte’ - I was not expecting the whole top of the bun to be soaked in sauce. I sat and stared at it for a moment trying to figure out how best to approach it. Today’s officially the first day I’ve ever eaten a burger with a knife and fork. ✅ Everything about the burger was delicious - I’m not complaining about the food! I just personally wasn’t a fan of the top being drenched in sauce. A heads up for anyone who decides to order that particular one… it’s tasty, just maybe request the sauce to stay inside the bun if you want to avoid having the whole thing slide through your fingers. 🤪😅 Also didn’t like that people could smoke in the restaurant. Kinda gross when you’re eating.

Amazing food and helpful staff! You don’t have to pay for a sun bed or beanbag if you are buying a drink or food. This is great as the setting is perfect by the beach. Not far from places to hire snorkel gear if needed. You can easily snorkel straight from here. The food is amazing with plenty of choice. The staff are very helpful and polite.

Loved, loved, loved the restaurant here. Food was delicious! Out of our five dinners, we had every dinner here. Great choice of food that is different, but not too different, from the usual fare. This was honestly the best burger I’ve ever had! It’s my second year visiting Gili T, and I always make sure to come back here just for their burger, they’re that good. The patty is juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, with fresh ingredients that make every bite enjoyable. The portion size is great too, definitely worth the price. I also tried the sangria, which was nicely served and refreshing. It might be missing a little touch of cinnamon to make it perfect, but overall it was still very good, especially for the price. The atmosphere of the place is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a meal after a long day on the island. The staff are friendly and attentive, which adds to the experience. So great a place🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We stayed here for 7 days and we didn’t regret choosing this part of the island for a second! The North part is more quiet that the busy Main Street in the east. But other restaurants still accessible on foot or by bike. If you want to explore the island, pls. Rent a bike or e-motorbike. The week we stayed here we didn’t experience this side as windy as the other parts. The staff was perfect - funny and very helpful. The owner is a nice Dutch woman who make sure that the rooms as well as the restaurant is clean. Breakfast is nice and served by the beach 🏖️ Turtles is just at the shore 🐢in shallow water;) Have to add that the duvets and pillows are really good 👍 Recommend this place☀️

Me and my partner went here for dinner last night, the service was exceptional. The staff were very welcoming, professional and polite. The food was also really great, we had a mix of things from the tapas menu. Location was really nice with nice lighting everywhere! Highly recommend.

We ordered lunch here and we had a great time. There are places to sit and lie on the beach, in the sun and shadow. The music was chill and service was good. There was enough vegetarian and vegan food and different styles (tacos, korean, tapas, etc)

Not sure about the hotel. But the beach restaurant it’s really good! Good food or good value. We’ve been to a few others beach restaurants in Gili t and this is so far the best.

Seating right by the beach was fabulous for sunset we ordered vegetable spring rolls, grilled chicken and chips with salad and iced coffee with milk all delicious so much so that i didn't think too take photos so i will share a sunset photo the staff are wonderful and even brought out mosquito spray and the sun fell which was appreciated

One of the best local small business restaurants on the island. It’s nothing fancy, but the beachfront location is gorgeous, the servers are friendly, and the fish filets are good quality and cooked to be juicy and flavorful. Don’t expect huge portions, but it’s quite a good value for the quality and the price. It was plenty to fill me up (yes, I’m American) and leave satisfied. I would definitely return!

Diana has everything going for it, a prime location on northwest Gili Meno, divine views of Gili Trawangan and the beautiful seas between, and an amazingly energetic and friendly bartender-cum-cashier-cum manager. No wonder Diana is everyone's favourite on the west coast of Meno. Beautiful, colourful boats from the sister Gilis anchor here during the day, in the bay's irridescent and azure waters. This is the best snorkeling site in the Gilis. So, come lunchtime and it can be difficult to get a seat. Wait times for your order can reach 45 minutes to an hour. Just grab a beer first or coconut water and wait patiently for your turn. The prices are amazingly moderate for a location this good. And there's no surprise taxes and service charges, unlike several restaurants on this strip. The food is delicious. I especially liked the local Sasak cuisine, orap orap and ulah ulah. The coconut water was awesome too.

Absolutely lovely here. The food was great, lots of local stuff and all delicious. Super affordable, and excellent service. They were happy to take care of our bags while we went snorkeling. We ate 3 meals here and they were all excellent.

Amazing view, delicious food and friendly staff! We took the tuna steak and the fried noodles, the fish was very good. We also loved the banana milk shake and the banana/coconut/chocolate pancake. Nice place to chill & eat after snorkeling :) !

Food taste is delicious and location is also amazing, at seashore. One can have lunch or dinner at seashore. We took a stop at Gilli meno while out snorkelling trip. Nasi goreng was superb!

Perfect, simple little warung that serves everything you need for a great meal. If you come during prayer times be mindful that the speakers are across the road and are quite loud. The service here is excellent and very friendly. Food was good. Would recommend an indonesian meal here :)

A nice and cozy place right by the beach with a lovely view of the sea. The atmosphere is good, and they play great 80s music. Sometimes there's live music, which we would actually prefer without. The food is okay, but the pizza calzone didn’t have much taste. I’m giving 3 stars mainly because the service felt a bit tired, and the calzone lacked flavor. With a bit more attentive service and a few small improvements to the food, they could easily get 5 stars from me!

We had dinner at Adeng-Adeng Beach Restaurant and overall, it was a nice experience. The staff were really friendly, the service was warm, and the atmosphere was lovely — with live music and a beautiful view of the sunset right over the ocean. The food tasted good, and we enjoyed the setting a lot. It’s a great place to relax by the beach and enjoy the evening vibe. That said, unfortunately, I had an upset stomach afterwards, which was the only time it happened during my trip in Indonesia, so it left me with mixed feelings. It may have been just bad luck, but I thought it was worth mentioning. The place itself has a lot of charm and the people working there really do their best to make you feel welcome. If you're looking for a chilled beach dinner spot, it’s still worth considering. Just personally, I didn’t have the best reaction to the food.

A MUST VISIT! I can’t recommend this place enough, we stayed in the Mimpi bungalows next to the restaurant and we ate here every day! They have a great range of things on their menu which is all reasonably priced. The staff were some of the kindest people my friend and I have come across during our travels. You also get complimentary popcorn when waiting for your drinks/food. The calzone was delicious and huge! I would definitely recommend! The bolognese was also delicious although was slightly sweet but don’t let this put you off! It also came with a side of bread. I had the cheeseburger for lunch one day and this was also DELICIOUS! Finally, the brownie with ice cream (which was more like a chocolate fudge cake) but we had this multiple times! So I would also recommend! They also have live music playing every evening which is nice and the staff also get involved. They also feed the cats which was really sweet! Overall a lovely atmosphere with amazing food and drink! Thank you so much! 😊

Had the tuna steak here 3 times! & we were only staying on Gili meno for 4 nights. Delicious fresh fish with great vegetables, lovely view & amazing to sit all day on the beach loungers.

Such a great find on our walk around the island. Portion sizes are very generous so even very ambitious eaters will not leave disappointed. They serve Guiness which was surprising. Not as good as it is in Ireland (it never is), but better than most places in the U.K. , which is surprising. Both times we went, they were playing live music which catered for the western market. Several friendly cats are in the restaurant which do not pester for food so are a nice addition to the restaurant vibe. The only surprising thing to this restaurant is that they do not do freshly grilled seafood. The staff are friendly - 10/10 would recommend.

The food was correct, don’t expect huge gastronomy but the pizzas are actually quite good ! The thing that makes the place special is the live music in the evening. We had some live guitar & singing and it was really a nice atmosphere.

We had lunch at this restaurant twice during our stay on Meno. I would rate it 3.5 stars, leaning towards 3, due to the long wait times on both days (almost an hour each time). Despite this, the setting is lovely, and the staff is friendly with reasonable prices. The food was generally good, especially the Nasi Goreng. The Greek salad was small for the price, likely due to the high cost of fresh vegetables on the island. The pizza was okay but had a very dry crust. Overall, it’s decent, but the long wait times are a significant drawback, especially when it’s not busy.

We stayed in Gili Air Bungalows and came here for breakfast and stayed till dinner. Lovely and very helpful staff❤️ Breakfast is huge and comes with proper coffee. Salad bar is quite rich and fresh, free if you buy bbq. We enjoyed spending time here. This part of beach is good for swimming, not shallow. Thanks for all guys🙏

During our 8 week Bali, Gili, Lombok trip Chill-out stood out all the way. The bungalows are super nice, with great aircon, clean well smelling beds decorated every other day and a great outside private outside bathroom/shower and a nice pool to share. Also the bungalows are only very little music we could sometimes here in distance. The restaurant was the best we had during our visit. The BBQ is just amazing no matter if you take fish, seafood or others. The staff is super friendly and supportive and i can just urge everybody to take strawberry daiquiri. They make the best in Indonesia. So all in all very great value for money. We would love to come back and are happy to recommend.

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The staff is super friendly, service is good, the food is the best I've ever had, escepcially the prawns and squid from the barbeque and the room always looked nice. If you stay on the beach you get a free bed with a view on Lombok and the blue waters in the front. Also the breakfast is great because of all the options and everyone helps you in the best way possible.

This restaurant is just amazing! We had the best fresh grilled fisch and prawns ever. The waiter went with us to the bbq-grill, we had to choose our seafood and could load our plates with salads and sauces. All the waiters and service-team was so lovley and funny. Literally every customer leaves the restaurant with a big smile and a full tommy aswell, we loved it and can highly recommend it. ❤️ Much love for these people 🥰

I can only comment on the bar, we did Not stayed at the Hotel. The bar is next to the sea with great views on Lombok & the Rinjani (in case of good weather and no clouds). Service was nice & quick. We ordered 2 margaritas and the cocktails were really good. Food looked delicious but also here we only came for drinks.

Our stay at Chillout Bungalows was perfect. The cozy rooms, varied breakfast, delicious seafood barbecue, cocktails, and the beautiful beach were just perfect. The location was close to the port and Turtle Beach, which was not far away. We saw beautiful coral and sea turtles every day 🐢 (for reference, we snorkeled 12 times in 6 days and saw sea turtles every time. We were so lucky). The Chillout staff were all friendly, energetic, and always smiling, making us happy. 🥰😍 Mike, Sun, Asma, and all the staff at Chillout will never be forgotten. Thank you for such a wonderful time. See you next time 🙏🏼

I've never met more amazing and lovely staff they make you feel so welcome and try there best to fill everyone with so much joy we could not get enough off the place and we were so upset to leave! I definitely recommend it when visiting Gili Air. The food was amazing we did not stay in the bungalows but everything else was perfect thank you to the staff for giving us such an amazing unforgettable time we are definitely going back! Kaju Café on the Gili Islands is such a great spot, which made my experience in the island even better! They have so many healthy options to choose from, everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was incredibly fast, kind, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. My friend has celiac disease, and we were so happy to find that Kaju Café offers plenty of tasty gluten-free options. It’s not easy to find places that cater so well to dietary needs, but they did an amazing job. Highly recommend this café if you’re looking for healthy, delicious food and wonderful service in a relaxed island setting! 🌿🥑☀️

Very good cafe this is a must go in Gili T. We had the best coffee in the island very taste and great quality. We order a cinnamon roll and a banoffee both super taste fresh and high quality. Awesome! The Best on Island! My birthday was celebrated there, they came to our table and suprised me with a cake and candle. It was such a heartwarming moment, I will never forget. This cafe has a unique atmosphere. I've been here several times and have always been warmly welcomed by the staff. I ordered a chicken panini and a smoothie bowl, and they were delicious. I have now visited the café twice: first for a takeaway order, and today for an on-site breakfast. The quality of the food and drinks is consistently very good and delicious. Unfortunately, the service during my second visit was extremely unpleasant. The staff seemed very arrogant and unnatural (or 'pretentious'), which severely detracted from the experience. This is particularly disappointing as the service everywhere else on the island was so friendly and accommodating.

We had a lovely meal here. The atmosphere was nice and chilled on the beach. The staff were really lovely. Olani was very helpful in showing me what the gluten free options were. We really enjoyed our meal and drinks!

We ordered a chicken burger here, and overall the presentation was nice, it looked like a big, hearty meal and came well served. The portion size was generous and filling, which I really appreciated. However, the main issue was with the taste. The chicken was cooked properly, but it had no seasoning or spices at all, which made it quite plain. With just a bit more flavor, it could have been a great burger. The place itself was clean and the service was fine, but the food definitely needs some improvement in terms of taste and seasoning. If they add a little more attention to flavor, it could easily become a great spot for a quick meal.

Avocado toast worth buying. The pancakes were also pretty good and fluffy served with a fresh fruit compote. However, I needed more butter and at corn syrup of not maple syrup. The yogurt is not enough to keep the pancake moist. The service is a bit slow, and I might add not attentive, which is common on the island anyway. Not sure where the name comes from, but there is no fat cat roaming around.

A really cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. Nachos as a starter are especially recommended, as you get a huge portion here! Thanks to our waiter August for making our dinner even more amazing! We will definitely come back on our next visit to Gili T :)

We really enjoyed the gluten-free lasagna – it was delicious! The portion was quite small though, so I would keep that in mind when ordering. The service was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bathroom, however, was very disappointing: it was small, not clean, and didn’t match the otherwise nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Still, it’s a lovely spot for a coffee and a quick bite.

I recently had a very positive experience here. During my stay in Gili, I visited several times for breakfast and was always satisfied. Contrary to some of the negative reviews I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating (adjusted my order, for example, adding more vegetables). The breakfast options were varied and of good quality. Prices are on the higher side, this is to be expected given the restaurant’s location right at the jetty and along the main street.

Amazing brunch experience 🤩 Delicious food, great coffee and a beautiful atmosphere surrounded by nature. Everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was friendly and the place feels very relaxing, perfect for a peaceful morning. Definitely one of the best brunch spots we tried in Bali.

The Banyan Tree was definitely our favourite cafe we visited in Gili Trawangan!! They had so many different food and drink options to choose from, in which you can customise to your taste too! They also offer freshly made pastries and bakes on the counter! The staff were helpful and the food was delicious! It also is a great location on the island just on the sea front with outdoor and indoor seating options. I’d definitely recommend eating here!!

Best venue of Gili t. Cool seating options / balcony or beachside. Great service, lovely Kombucha and coffee. Scrambled tofu 10/10 had it 3 times.

I would highly recommend this cafe restaurant to eat breakfast lunch or dinner. They have a very wide selection of food which also Caters for vegetarians. The staff are very friendly polite and really nice. The prices are quite good here also for either meal. You can also get a coffee card stamped each time you have coffee which is an added bonus if you become regular.

Food was good. They mainly have vegetarian / Vegan options. The service is ok and ambience is good. The view from this place is great. You can take a break from drinks/snacks and go for a dip at beach. Overall, a nice experience.

The best food on the island. Excellent value for money, you are receiving the top culinary style (and taste) for the price of local warung. Try chicken in pandan leaves, it is perfect. Service was fast and without any problem.

Excellent small restaurant close to the harbour. Excellent service from the friendly staff. I had walked past this place a few times before stopping, there is always people eating there, so I knew it was going to be a nice place to watch. I was so happy with my food choices. The prices are very reasonable as well. It made a nice change from so many places serving local food.

Second time dining here. Good food, really cheap price and friendly staff. What else can you ask for? Totally recommended. The red curry was really good. Not huge portions but more than enough for the price. If you are in Gili Air you must give it a chance.

Ordered a tuna appetizer, steak sandwich, and their special - Tuna cilantro. The tuna main and fries with the steak sandwich were awesome. Steak was tough and tuna appetizer was only ok. Overall great value for the food.

This warung is very good, the impression of the restaurant was clean. Served was udang kemangi and nasi gorengand chimichsnga. All very delicious and a recommendation worth. Compared to the price the dishes were surprisingly good. Big highlight - must try on Gili Air!!

What a lovely place! Serving great coffee, one of the best I’ve had here. Sandwiches and egg breakfast dishes are also great. We had poached eggs and taliwang grilled chicken sandwich. Food was fantastic. Really helpful and kind staff. Let me go back to my room, as I had forgotten to get cash. Highly recommend!

I was craving a smoothie bowl when I just arrived to the island. I came across Coffee & Thyme, the place looked cute and having seen the reviews it sparked my curiosity. The service was quick, I ordered the smoothie bowl and a energize juice that got recommended to me. The taste was delicious and it was fairly priced. The overall Price/ Quality is great 5/5

Nice cafe on Gili T, cheaper than some of the other cafe's, friendly and pretty fast service, had a sunrise smoothie bowl, coffee chocolate brownie (dragon fruit glaze) and a hazelnut oat latte. Yum. The brownie was a little dry and the texture was more like a tray cake but overall for a chill cafe stop it was tasty and affordable. Would recommend :)

Perfect little coffee just on the main street. We had caramel and hazelnut blended ice coffee and the full moon smoothie bowl! It was absolutely amazing!

They have a best happy hour deal, three cocktails for 100.000. Cocktails are good as is the food. We came here two times for cocktails and third time we also ate. We had pizza and tuna stake and it was good! Come here for a drink or three and eat as well :)

Nice place with tasty food. Just a small note — the chicken katsu came without rice, even though the picture showed rice and vegetables. I didn’t mind too much, but had to ask for a side separately. They also charged 5k extra for some ice and a slice of lime with the coconut. It’s not a big issue at all, but I feel like things could be a bit more clear or consistent with the menu. I believe it will get better with time — the potential is definitely there. Still, I appreciate that they had fresh coconuts available — even some higher-rated cafés nearby didn’t.

For the first time in Indonesia we have got unappetizing food together with tasteless juices mixed with crazily sweetened water. Yes, the price for the “juice” is 15.000 (which is cheap), but if I knew it’s going to be the flavorless sugar drink instead of the juice I wouldn’t spend a penny for that. The food was also disappointing: the fried octopus was pretty rubbery and required to chew each piece for like 0.7-1 minute, otherwise it was painful to swallow them since they were scratching the gullet (and it is still irritated like if I was eating the stones). 10 mins in a raw I was chewing those rubber pieces and couldn’t finish my order anyway, had to seek for my husband’s ‘help’. Fried chicken noodles was okay but very oily for our taste. The couple running this place didn’t seem to be so friendly either. Felt like they were annoyed by something/someone. Pros: - napkins/sauces/toothpicks on the tables - short waiting time Please go somewhere else.

The food was great and affordable. Had the ayam taliwang, telor balado, singkong, krupuk, and tempe. Overall wasn't super spicy either. Saw many foreigners eat there which was interesting. My plate was 35k but thats because I ordered a lot. They had a wash basin with soap too.

1.5/5 I'm puzzled by the 4.9-star rating. We visited this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a tomato soup and an Olah-Olah. The tomato soup was a joke. I've never tasted a tomato soup like it anywhere in the world. It was a strange, gingery-garlicky and salty liquid with chopped tomato floating inside. 😂 This was a total disaster. To make matters worse, I found a long hair in my Olah-Olah. 🤌🏼 (I’m blonde so it was from one of the staff there. Yummy.) My boyfriend ordered the Mie Goreng, which was okay but certainly not the best we've had. Not even close to the best ones we’ve tried. P.s.: Does the owner seriously think this is what a tomato soup should look like? I've had perfectly normal tomato soup in Indonesia before, which is why I ordered it here.

Our absolute favorite spot on Gili Meno! Visited tip of the tongue for both lunch and dinner for 7 out of the 10 days we were there, because of the great atmosphere and the most dedicated staff! My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at Tip of the Tongue Warung last night, primarily based on the outstanding reviews it had garnered, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. We were truly impressed with the culinary experience. My girlfriend opted for the Dragon Fruit Nasi, while I indulged in the vegetarian Mie, with a brownie as dessert. Both dishes were simply delightful. The flavors were exquisite, presentation was impeccable, and the overall execution was top-notch. What truly adds to the charm of this establishment is its strong sense of locality. You can witness the entire family busy in the kitchen, and even the children lend a hand in providing service. It's a genuinely thriving local restaurant that encapsulates the warmth of the community. Furthermore, based on our excellent dinner experience, we decided to return for breakfast this morning, and once again, it was a delight. I enjoyed the banana pancakes with chocolate and the Cheese Onion Tomato Jaffles, and both were bursting with flavor. The prices were reasonable, offering excellent value for money. As such, I have no hesitation in awarding Tip of the Tongue Warung a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting this wonderful family-run establishment.

A Must-Visit Gem in Gili Meno This dining spot is a must-go if you’re on this island in Meno and definitely worth the 10-minute walk, even though it took some searching to find. It’s one of the tastiest places I’ve eaten at in the country. Their unique dragonfruit nasi dish is something I haven’t seen anywhere else. With generous portions, reasonable prices, and great service, it’s a real winner. The restaurant is run by a local family, adding a warm, welcoming vibe and making it a great place to support the community. If you want to back local businesses, this is where you should go. I even went back the next day for breakfast, enjoying a delicious pineapple pancake and a cheese and tomato omelet. Also, try the “Lemon Beauty” mocktail – it’s like a mojito but without alcohol and very refreshing!

I ate here twice while on Gili Air. The food was prepared slowly with care and attention. I don't typically eat vegetarian and I found the food flavorful and perfectly spiced. There are also vegan options and an Ayurvedic overview of the foods, which was very cool to see. The staff were all kind and attentive. The ambiance is relaxed and cozy. I also really like the owner, Rosie. She is kind and funny and spent many years living in India. I've eaten a lot of Indian food and I believe this to be high quality, nutritious and authentic. Highly recommended.

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had (or at least over the past year). We ordered food and healthy juices. The juices already took quite some time to get to the table. Once received we struggled drinking it as the spices in the drink we’re all on top. All our drinks were not tasty and not something you would expect from a juice (we tried asking for a spoon to eat the drink, but we never got to it due to the terrible service). After an hour we asked if our food would arrive anytime soon. The owner (the lady) was really rude to me. She said it was ready (rudely pointing to the plates). However, it took 20 minutes more to get to the table. I received the first dish, which later turned to be my friends dish. We figured she wanted me quite for asking when we will get our food. The received dish was overly sweet. Once I received my own food, I was not too happy. The tempeh was overly spiced, which made the dish tasteless (I love Spicey food but this was not good). The third dish arrived even later and was so bad my friend didn’t want to finish it. We ate the food as we were extremely hungry and it was really expensive (relatively speaking). The food was definitely not Indian food. We felt sorry for the staff in the kitchen. They tried their best (we could see that), but we felt like they were given bad instructions and recipes. The owner was extremely unfriendly and provided no service. Overall, the worst experience i remember to ever have had in a restaurant.

Didn't like it. In Bali & Lombok restaurant, we wait quite a long time before getting food. But here, we have a record, and we were alone. Can't imagine if the restaurant is full. Really overpriced compared to other Gili's restaurant and the food wasn't tasty. Lentils dahl didn't have any taste, the chapati was ok and "Indian" curry was overspiced. There is a lot of better restaurant in Gili air than this one

We loved it!! If you are an Aussie chances are you have a great Indian place on every corner back home and you always order your lamb vindaloo or butter chicken. Don’t expect this to be the same. First of all its vegan, second of all we are in Indonesia, third of all they put a lot of focus into Ayurveda and healthy eating according to your dosha. They even offer consultations to tell you what your dosha is which I think is very cool. I just don’t understand the bad reviews! I found the owner (a German lady I think?) really lovely, the food amazing and healthy...the chefs put so much effort and attention to detail in the food, and it came out in normal standard Gili Air time. My boyfriend even loved it and he is not vegan or vegetarian. So I say leave your expectations at the door and give it a shot. It’s at the very least a nice break from Nasi Goreng

First and foremost the operations were a mess. The only waiter jumped in and out to the kitchen, to prepare the food, and this drove a lot of waiting. We had one course and spent 1,5 hrs here - 25 minutes just to place our order. We exchanged a few helpless smiles with other guests, who seemed to face the same problem. The food was “okay” at its best. My first banana lassi tasted like it should but later, as we waited our thalis, turned into cement and did not come out of the glass. The second one was very sour from the bottom. The best bit of my thali was the small sweet dish, topped with an almond. The two sauces may had had a bit too much salt slipped on them. The concept has potential but the messy operations ruin the experience atm.

Being Indians, we went into this place thinking we will enjoy some simple, home style Indian vegetarian food. We were majorly let down, and in fact upset by the behaviour and attitude of the chef-cum-manager. Firstly the wait for the food was too long - 1 and a half hours. Secondly, it was astonishing to see the owner constantly yelling, snapping and using aggressive body language at her staff. We were sitting right next to the open kitchen and could clearly see and hear what was going on in the kitchen - the constant snapping and rude behaviour at her two employees - which to be honest didn't seem justifiable to us as observers made the experience terrible and something we wanted to get out of quickly. Infact she made no attempt to keep the volume low while dressing down the two constantly. It appeared that she was a total control freak and gave poor directions to her staff / hadn't trained them / needed more staff (none of which is the fault of the local staff trying to help her). Our heart went out to the two employees seeing the fright on their faces. However, the waiter was so jovial that he kept smiling at the guests and being friendly to them (unlike the lady who made no attempt to be friendly). When another guest came to tip the chef's helper, we were aghast to see that the she took away the tip from him and put it in a box after the guest went left - we only hope that it was distributed afterwards (though we doubt it - seeing her attitude and look on the employee's face). Having witnessed all this, our food came after more than 1 and a half hours. Her food much like her mood was unauthentic and nowhere near what an Indian meal is supposed to be like. The lentils were undercooked, the turmeric in the curry was also uncooked (added towards the end of the dish prearation as we could see her doing). Worst of all, the "chapati" described as traditional Indian flat bread was made from refined flour instead of whole wheat flour (as used in traditional Indian chapati). She also forgot to prepare one of the dishes we ordered and on being asked about it, she was totally unapologetic which would have been fine if the kind of forgiveness and compassion that she afforded to herself was also shown to her staff's mistakes - what double standards she had! Overall, a terrible experience. We came out feeling guilty for indirectly participating in the inhuman treatment she was meting out to her staff. We tried to give some feedback on the dal and chapati -she didn't seem interested though. Finally, to encourage the jovial waiter I walked up to him to say that he was doing a good job and complimented him for his smile - she ignored what was said and rather than let him enjoy that one second of praise, she immediately snapped at him and gave him a deadly look. Definitely food, service and behaviour that my husband and I stand against.

first of all it's no where close to Indian food as they claim to be. secondly the food is absolutely tasteless. we ordered samosa which was still ok but slightly uncooked with haldi being added in the end, rather sprinkled in the end. we also ordered thali which had veg sabzi and dal roti both sabzi and daal were absolutely pathetic. we ended up leaving more than 60% of food

The worst and most important thing about this restaurant to share is the following: We went there through a snorkeling excursion (I think both activities are working together). The food was not so nice and at the end of the lunch the owner asked us for 10% more on the bill; we were just checking how much cash we had with us and he started screaming in a bad way and he literally threatened us by telling us that if we didn't pay the bill with the extra 10% we wouldn't leave the island. Bad person and bad food. If I could rate with less than one star I would. Don't go there please, neither for a beer, he doesn't deserve any client.

Good place to have a quick meal after snorkeling. The staff is kind and easy going. I had fried noodles with seafood, and although the seafood was quite tough the noodles were very flavourful. The rest of my family had fried noodles with chicken instead and said it was great! The place has a roof so it provides a cover during an unexpected rain.

Nice food, very funny and nice staff. I asked for more spicy sambal so they gave me, ofcourse, the spiciest they could make, but a very tasty one! To be honost a bit too expensive for what it is. The fried chicken was tasty, the squid was a bit too tough, not really soft.

Nice family warung on the beach. They serve fresh fish, that they let you pick from the catch of the day. The people are really nice, careful about customer satisfaction, cleanliness and quality of service. The food is super fresh and tasty. The place is definitely expensive compared to the concurrence, but worth it if your wallet allows it (250k per person)

We went there with our hostel guides following a snorkelling trip. The service was impeccably slow. It took them an hour and a half to bring out noodle soup which was clearly just packet noodles as they left the literal packet in the soup. The veg inside the soup was raw and me and my husband today have woken up with funny stomachs.

Delicious food at a very good price, beautiful location on the beach side with a view on Gili Air. Staff are very nice and accommodating of special requests (no onion, no garlic, no chili). The fish was very well cooked and easy to remove from the bones. Vegetables bowl was really good and I'm not a fan of vegetables overall. Highly recommend for a nice meal or drink.

Ruby’s Café in Gili Air seriously delivered. We tried a lot of food during our time across Bali, Nusa Penida, and Gili Air, but this place had hands down the best local dishes. The potato pastry and chicken leg were packed with flavour — proper comfort food, done right. The pumpkin curry was also spot on, really tasty and satisfying without being heavy. If you’re looking for good, honest local food with real flavour, Ruby’s is the place. Glad we found it.

We are vegetarian and absolutely loved this food - we particularly enjoyed the pumpkin and chickpea curry. It was very reasonably priced and great service! One of our favourite meals in gili air and lovely that it’s run by locals.

Ruby’s Café has been, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip when it comes to Indonesian food. We were four people dining together, and we all agreed it was the most delicious we’ve had during our stay. They do take their time to prepare the dishes —something they let you know in advance— but since you’re on holiday, the wait is absolutely worth it. You really shouldn’t miss it.

The best pumpkin curry I’ve ever had – hands down. Everything tastes like it’s made with so much love, like a home-cooked meal. If you’re looking for comfort food and a place that feels like family – not some fancy restaurant – this is the spot. A little hidden gem on Gili that makes you feel right at home. 💛

Fabulous! Ruby's Cafe (& Shendy's) were our best finds to eat Indonesian food while on Gili Air for just under a month. Beef Randang every time! Great staff, great service & nice inland setting. Can be stiflingly hot due to limited ceiling fans.

We stayed here for four nights and cannot fault it. The room was modern and spacious and cleaned everyday without request. The location is good as it’s only a four minute walk from the port, and when we arrived we received a welcome drink. The free breakfast was amazing, we had cheese and tomato omelette with artisan bread. Along with this you also get a fruit salad and choice of hot drink. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We went to eat many times at Classico Italiano during our stay at Gili Air. My partner is a chef and we really like visiting restaurants to try which one is the best. We definitely love this place, it is very obvious that the owner is Italian. Homemade pasta is excellent, lasagna fabulous.The unforgettable tiramisu! 😍We had many talks with the owner of the place and we felt very comfortable. It's nice to go eat somewhere where you can feel at home. Unfortunately we must confess to the owner that we did not dare to try the fruit that smells very strong as promised... we need more mental preparation! hahaha thank you very much for everything 🫶🏼 I totally recommend this place.

Best Pizzeria on Gili Air! 😍 The food was amazing and the staff is really really nice. On top the boss/manager Alex from Italy helped us a lot with questions about the island and activities/recommendations 👌 We can also recommend the rooms they offer right next to the restaurant. You find a lot of Pizza on Gili Air. You won’t find what is served here! From start to finish Classico is wonderful, a warm welcome, top service, amazing food and a smile when you leave! The creativity and the prep of the dishes are truly something else. Homemade sauces, reductions, pasta and pizza dough! I really recommend this place to all who want a little quite from the busy main road, have a good date night or just want to enjoy honest food, from an honest and professional chef! I highly recommend the Chorizo and Squid Pizza! And just be surprised what they might have as a daily special! Brilliant place! Love it! Coming back!

Stayed 3 days on Gili Air, ate here 2x. Good sized portions, fantastic pasta and deserts. Been to Italy 2xs as well and the lasagna took me back there. Oh so tasty! Quiet location, exceptional host.

Pachamama is the best Cafe I’ve ever visited while living on the island! Their matcha is the best, so smooth and flavorful. I love their Spicy Beef Rice Bowl, I thought it wouldn’t suit the local taste, but wow, it was amazing. The staff are also very friendly and make you feel so welcome. Discovered Pachamama when I was looking for a chill place to grab dinner after the sunset, it’s only 1 minute from the beach and the vibe was amazing! Beautiful design, and great selection of locally sourced, healthy options. Ended up coming back multiple times during my stay on Gili Air! Couldn’t recommend this place more, the best salads on the island, the smoothies and tapas options were UNREAL 😍✨

We came here 10 years ago and it was fantastic. It is still fantastic!! Kombucha, dragon fruit smoothie, vegan chicken tapas (trust me, delicious), carrot tapas and the Pachamama burger. All healthy and delicious. Nothing felt unhealthy or heavy. Highly recommended.

We were staying just behind this beautifully quirky cafe and what a lovely homely vibe. Great staff, Uber polite and nothing was too much trouble. Try their bullet coffee, it's a banger! We also had their breakfast burrito and eggs with feta and everything was cooked to perfection and their subltle and delicate salad dressing really elevated the entire plate. Great work guys. I got this place recommended and decided to try it and I had a 10/10 experience - such a lovely café! The atmosphere is very relaxed, super friendly staff and they even made me a custom smoothie bowl that was not on the menu :) would also recommend to try the dessert, they’re great if you have a sweet tooth like me!

What a beautiful experience at this resort! Staff was incredible, rooms were nice (unfortunately our air conditioning was not working but they got us moved the next day and handled it in a kind and efficient manner). The food was great and you could not ask for a better location. We saw so many fish, turtles etc right off the beach (also saw a small shark right off the beach). The food was absolutely amazing and we loved the place

The hotel’s beach was simply amazing. Clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained — the perfect place to unwind. The staff were always present, bringing drinks, towels, and anything else we needed with great professionalism and kindness. One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing a sea turtle pop its head out of the water right in front of us. The whole atmosphere was peaceful. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

My favourite place I stayed on our trip around Bali and the Gili Islands. The rooms were really clean and well looked after, you won’t spend any time in them though as the beach and on site restaurant & bar is phenomenal! As you sit absorbing the sun you’ll constantly see turtles popping their heads up whilst they have their breakfast and dinner. The coral in front of the hotel also felt the most diverse and vibrant with the least swell (we went to a few spots). Snorkelling and kayak equipment can be borrowed for nothing too. There’s also two pools for when the tide goes out too far, or to keep children entertained. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced, we ate there every night we stayed having tried a few others on the island before (we had stayed elsewhere beforehand) but preferred this to everything. My wife especially enjoyed the bbq fish night, I loved the acoustic night!!! All in all I couldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone anymore than is possible. The head chef and staff are a treat, that match the stunning surroundings.

We stayed at the family room and we had the best time Rooms are spacious and there are two bathrooms ! Super clean and comfy, the pool was inviting and the staff very attentive Breakfast was a feast ! Great location for sunset, we were there on Sunday and there was a live music - amazing voice nice vibe and delicious food I could not recommend it more Thank you for having us !

We had a truly wonderful stay at Mahamaya. The location is peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the staff – they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast and the fresh juices. We also loved the little details – like the quiet pool area and the evening turndown service. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a serene and high-quality place to stay in Bali!

An absolute pleasure to be here. Staff are amazing, helpful and will help whene needed. Donny at the bar is a delight and makes a fab cocktail. Close to everything. Food is so so good but a little expensive if your on a budget. Great spot for snorkeling. Overall, staff, room, service is very good.

Staff is friendly enough but somehow disorganized. Late to clear tables (most customers had to wipe their own tables clean) food was good enough but not delivered at the same time (we were a party of 5 and one of the dishes was so late that we opted to cancel it as everyone else had finished their dish). Maybe the effects of a late night as it was New Year’s Day.

Urban French cafe life in the middle of the Gilis. Well laid out with ok coffee and good bread and cake selection, a choice of sesting areas, wifi, power outlets, ceiling fans, a garden area and cool tunes.

We had a salsa bruschetta and a sandwich and both were tasty. Friendly staff. P.S. The hot caffe latte is way better than the iced one :)

Best ice cream on the island, amazing coffee, delicious tropical smoothie... and best sandwitches we had! Love the interior design, the service, atmosphere! Great for breakfast!

Hidden gem! Really nice staff who were quite hospitable when the power went out (as it often does on the island but only for a few minutes). Get the brownie with a coffee beverage. You won't regret it!

A complete tourist trap. Local guides hype this place up, but don’t be fooled..it’s all fake. The dishes arrive stone cold (only the rice was warm), clearly sitting around for who knows how long. The so-called sweet sour chicken and sweet soya chicken? Just piles of bones with barely any meat. And to top it all off, the waiter was smoking inside the restaurant, right next to the customers… Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid at all costs. There are far better places on the island.

Although from the outside the place may not seem like a spot where you’d expect a good restaurant, appearances can be deceiving. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and nicely presented. The staff were very friendly. The owner spoke good English, which made communication very easy. Definitely highly recommended! 😊 Our price was higher because of the beers 😁

Good food. Beef randang was YUM. Service was a bit slow when we chose on menu items. I’d suggest to make your plate with the items on display and eat that right away with hot rice instead of waiting. Two tables came in after us fixed their plate, ate, paid and left while we waited. Lovely friendly service.

As it said. Make it simple. Indonesia meal, not much options but good ones. Prices are cheap. Small shop so don't miss it. The second shope before the corner.

Staff were very welcoming. The Ayam Rendang and Umis Kangkung were nice. But I really liked the Ayam Plecingan. Very delicious and just a little spicy. Do note that the chicken portions can be quite small (as has been the case in all the Warungs I've eaten at on this island). For drinks, they only had a limited assortment of drinks to choose from. But I enjoyed the food and the service.

We went there almost ever single day for weeks and looooved it so much!!! Very fresh healthy food - extremely friendly staff every single day - sometimes even a cold towel before food. You get free cold water and a very chill view. We loved it. Our absolutely favorites were the Banh Mi and the Gyros. It is Cash only so be prepared for that. Breakfast Lunch Dinner all very much recommended!

We had amazing vegetarian food at this place. The snack platzer for two and the pumpkin-carrot soup. Both were in point. Freshly made and you really could feel the love and effort they put into the food. Also everything was well seasoned and refined with aromatic flavours and spices. Great food. Great vibe. Great staff. This cafe is a great bicycle pit stop with exceptionally friendly staff members and yummy smoothie bowels and juices. The decor, ambiance and overall atmosphere is trendy and relaxing. A definite must!

Excellent food! The raw cacao + coco Musa bowl was an absolute killer, crazy good. Their desserts are lush (especially the brownie) and their mains, especially the soup, were great as well. We kept returning to Musa during our stay here, and I'm still daydreaming about those bowls...

One of the tastiest places on Gili with lovely and very friendly staff. Who would have thought we could get a delicious vegan jackfruit gyro in Indonesia?! 10/10 been here a few times and will be sad to leave. Huge portions, amazing soy coffees and smoothies. You’ll not be disappointed 💃🌯🥗

Excellent restaurant with exlcusively vegan food. We ate here twice with friends because we all liked it so much. To get a taste of the variety, our friends had the mix platter of which every dish was delicious and my partner and I had the Musa Burger and the Jackfruit Gyro the first time. The Burger is delicious, has more weight to it and the patty super tasty. The Jackfruit Gyro had great texture and is so tasty as well as refreshing with its white sauce. I highly recommend both dishes although I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire menu was just as good. The staff are infinitely kind and caring. Within the 3 days of coming here, the lady that waited on us remembered the few words of luxembourgish we taught here which is very impressive. The chocolate cake (which wasn’t called that) was also light and moist and perfect to finish of our first evening! The red wine (chilean syrah) wasn’t the best unfortunately but I’m sure the white wine (chileab chardonnay) is a safer choice. As for the atmosphere, the place is on a small road, away from any noise and is pretty tranquil. Can highly recommend coming here even as a non-vegan (such as ourselves) to discover some new flavours and to experience the kind service of the restaurant!

Very nice atmosphere. Seems to be the only place on Gili Air which has at least a booking capacity of 30% at 18:38 which is already a lot. The Burgers are of very good quality so can be recommend easily. Draft Beer Bintang also available. Good Service we did appreciate.

Great little place to watch live sport and the burgers are to die for I’ve had the McGregor burger and the fish burger 🍔 home made fries, beers cold and on tap a must visit.

Amazing food and drink served here with super friendly staff and great atmosphere. Fabulous pub grub if you need some decent scran and also have a variety of tasty light bites. Can personally recommend the bruschetta which was super fresh and delicious. The one thing you do need to try here is the caipirinhas, oh my god they will change your life. I had one every evening they are so good! The staff are super nice and the atmosphere is chill. Thank you for having us and your support for Luni ❤️❤️

One of the best places to watch sport I have been to. Service is excellent, the staff are proactive and friendly. They are happy to play different matches on the other tvs if requested. They serve beer in glasses out of the freezer, which is a touch more pubs need to adopt. Loved watching the NRL here.

We ate at multiple places on Gili Air Island and this place was one of THE BEST. My husband eats a lot of food and they give you a good portion of protein which he really appreciated!! We ate here twice because the food was so tasty!! Highly recommend! (& of course you can watch sports which is a plus)

best burger. we order Mike Tyson. the beef is super nice and the sauce are tasty. they have sports bar so we can watch while we eat. busy place. place for local people meet and play some games.

The red meat on the half chicken is excellent but the breast portion was way too dry. The Caesar salad was so good I had it twice! Dropping one star because staff members go to the toilet and leave without washing their hands. 🤢

Gili Bliss is exactly that—bliss. Super cute, locally owned café with the best breakfast and smoothie bowls on the island. Everything is fresh, colourful, and made with love. The brunch menu is legit, the portions are perfect, and the coffee hits the spot. The space has a beautiful aesthetic—calm, cosy, and super relaxed without trying too hard. Such a good spot to start your day or just hang out for a while. Definitely a go-to if you’re into good food, good vibes, and supporting local.

The smoothie bowls (we had the Chocolate Monkey Bowl for 95k, the Mango Magic Bowl for 85k, and the Purple Kiss Bowl for 75k) are okay but nothing special – personally, I felt they lacked that certain something, and all the bowls had the same toppings. There also weren’t any major differences in taste, even though the bases were supposedly quite different. For the price (75k–95k), they’re a bit expensive but still acceptable; however, I wouldn’t come back. What was positive was that they brought me some extra peanut butter for the Chocolate Monkey Bowl at no extra charge. On the other hand, they charged 45k instead of 40k for the cappuccino.

Gili Bliss is the perfect place to grab a coffee and get some work done! It has both indoor and outdoor seating but we opted to stay inside as it was a particularly hot day and they have AC! We initially ordered a matcha latte and coconut but ended up getting hungry so we then ordered their falafel burger. The portion size was very generous and also very tasty as a vegetarian option. They also offer almond, soy and oat milk for the lactose intolerant. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their drinks! Their smoothie bowls do look very tasty!

This place is so cute and the food is just perfect! I came here for 3 days in a row (unfortunately had to leave Gili Air..) and every time I got the most delicious meals! Also they were so kind and lovely. Thank you so much and I can’t wait to be back. My fav was definitely the pancakes and smoothiebowl! Just order them both if you can’t choose, you won’t regret it.

Really nice place to watch the sunset. But food took over an hour (although we were the only ones ordering food). The chicken tasted good but was way to dry and the potatoes weren't hot anymore when we got them. And we found a small piece of plastic in our food. We only tried milkshakes for drinks but the taste was too watery. Sadly really bad value for the money.

Not sure why the score is so low. The staff was really cool. Food was delicious and we didn't wait for too long, although we didn't try the bbq menu. Also, the nearby beach is one of the best for snorkeling on Meno.

The food was expensive when compared to others close by (as in 100 meters) bbq squid was very chewy, bbq vegetable kebab was - tomato cooked well, corn inedible dry and hard , carrot hard (could not get fork into it), onion large and raw. Despite returning to get it cooked came back no better. Potatoes in jackets wrapped in foil dropped into coals tasted boiled not baked. Terrible value for money and we left most of it behind.

THE place to be in Gili Meno! Doesn't matter whether you go for lunch or dinner. The fish cannot be any fresher, exactly as the waiters could not be any nicer and chilled. Go, go, go! You'll never regret it!

Mie goreng special has only special price - noodles egg, dry chicken pieces, carot and green beans, that’s it? Cheap cocktails in happy hour.

Awesome small restaurant/cafe. I liked the option to make my own pita pocket. And really enjoyed ice ginger tea. But in overall pretty pricey, paid 120k and at the end it didn't fullfill me at all.

We had the absolute best night at Pockets and Pints! Came in for one beer and a game of pool at 5 and ended up staying until closing. The staff were absolutely incredible, looked after us so well and joined in with our games of pool, banter, conversation etc. Had a chicken gyros here too which was delicious. At closing they took us to the beach and made a fire, hospitality was next level. Couldn’t recommend this bar more- they made our Gili Air experience, a night we’ll never forget!

Such a fun place to hang out and play some pool or darts in a really welcoming, relaxed, and lowkey atmosphere. However, don’t let the name and main purpose as a bar fool you: They sell top quality food and the curries are a BIG recommendation!

Nice place to keep you busy in the evening. They have pool table, fussball and darts, also some board games. We had some drinks for happy hour, good cocktails. They treat you with popcorn next to your drinks which is great, we asked for some to go for next day boat trip. Thanks for the popcorn guys!

Great happy hour on already great priced cocktails. Buy two, get one and each is 50k and up from 4-7pm. The people are so kind and there are lots of games to play like darts, pool, foosball, and card/ board games.

This one of our favourite places to spend our evenings, we spent 2 of our 3 nights here. The staff are all amazingly friendly and really happy to sit for a chat about anything. We tried the pita's which were like a calzone but crispy, very tasty and a great price for the size of the feed. There are all sorts of games to use here too, darts, foosball, jenga, cards, which made for a fun night each time. We will be back again to see you all on our next trip 👍

These pitas are delicious and filling. I love that they offer homemade sambal for you before the pitas arrive. I had the salami, mozzarella with arugula (instead of onion) and tomato sauce ... and oh boy .. I was full for 6 hours. 75k may be a steep price for a dish but considering how full I felt, it was certainly worth it. My partner had feta, balsamic, tomatoes, and arugula with sour cream. He added smoked chicken which came out as a cold cut. Don't expect chopped chicken breast or anything. The tomato sauce pitas are served like pizzas where as the sour cream ones are served like sandwiches. They also have decks of cards, darts, a chess board and some dominoes if you were looking to kill some time and enjoy some imported beers. They are known for the imported beers.

Me and my girlfriend ate here last night. After wondering around the streets and seeing it so busy, we thought we’d try it and so glad we did! Such lovely people cooking the freshest dishes. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Gili Meno!

We order Chicken and Vegetable Rendang, both of them are so nice with strong coconut flavor , Gado Gado also fabulous! Love so much! Juice also very fresh.

Great food but the service is so so slow - the 2 women who run this, are in no hurry to do anything g much. I am conflicted in this review as the food is good and the drinks lovely ( no alcohol) but the cats are a problem and constantly jump on the tables while you are eating and nothing is done to stop them. I really wanted to try the fish, but we watched several people lose their meal to the cats regardless of how they tried to get them away, so I felt I couldn’t bother with the hassle. Great food, but they could make more of an effort to serve you - even trying to pay is a drama

We came here 3 days in a row - it’s that good! The waiters are lovely, super friendly guys. The food is simple and all absolutely delicious, way better than most other places doing the same kind of dishes. We also love the setting - relaxed, open, and the music is always just right. It’s got a great vibe that keeps drawing us back!

Best chicken cordon bleu for 60kIDR— super crispy and perfectly deep-fried on the outside, while still juicy inside. The filling was tasty (nothing extravagant, but really well done). It comes with beans, carrot vegetables, fries, and a classic gravy sauce. If you’re craving European-style comfort food with a ready-made touch (but good!), this is the place to go! The fish fillet dabu dabu is also excellent and definitely worth its price (60k IDR). The owners are very kind, and you can even get a Smirnoff Ice for only 35k IDR. An absolute must-visit with great value for money — we went there twice and didn’t regret it!

The food was incredible. I‘m not lying. These were the best fried noodles I‘ve ever had. We ordered chicken fried noodles, chicken fried rice noodles, calamary rings and two smoothies. It was such a good price as well and so delicious. I would definitely come back here. Also the waiter is very funny and always in a good mood. The whole place is very authentic. Nice and chill music, not too loud, loved everything about it.

10/10 food, the service was great and the workers were super cool. Came here everyday for the two weeks I spent on gili and ordered the same meal everyday it was that good. The juices are also great and incredible value. Only issue I found was the break that they don’t have added into their opening hours, between 4-6pm they go on break and don’t serve any food.

This place has become my go-to place in Gili T. Food is delicious, the people that work there is very kind and good to have a chat with. I would recommend the Crispy Chicken Wrap and Mozzarella Sticks

The food here was so good that we came two days in a row. Highly recommend the fried tempeh with spicy sambal – perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The water spinach and veggie soup were also excellent. The real standouts are the Black Pepper Chicken with Fried Rice and the Crispy Chicken Tom Yum. We ordered the latter both days – the Tom Yum soup was beautifully balanced in flavor, and the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and placed on top of the soup just before serving so it stayed nice and crunchy. Compared to these dishes the burger was ok but not recommended to order - in contrast to the other dishes. The cocktails are great too! The doubles are quite strong, so a single is usually enough – the Lemon Drop is especially recommended, and the Coconut Mojito is also delicious. Prices are extremely good, especially considering the quality and taste. A truly wonderful dining experience – we’ll definitely be back!

We loved this place so much we came 5 times during our 4 days on Gili T. The prices are really cheap compared to other options on the island, but they also have such a wide variety of food and drinks and probably the cheapest cocktails we found on the island starting at 40k. Tried a lot of things on the menu but my favourite was the garlic prawns, and the brown sugar coffee was also really nice.

Very very good Mie Goreng, banana pancakes and Mango juices. We went there a couple of times but more to take away. The prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh and delicious. This Warung is local owned and the people are just so nice, friendly and always smiling.

The food was amazing. Had an Tuna Ceasar Salad and Italian Spaghetti with fresh Tomato Sauce 🍝. For the salad and the spaghetti I got fresh garlic toast. The portion was very big and I got more than full 😆. And for all I paid only 90k. So absolutely worth it!

This warung was absolutely incredible – by far our favorite place to eat on the island. We ended up coming every single day for a week because the food, service, and atmosphere were just perfect. The staff is so kind, the prices are really low, and we never got sick once (which is a huge plus when traveling!). Everything felt super local and authentic. The fresh fruit juices were amazing – especially the dragon fruit juice – and our favorite dish was the crispy chicken Pad Thai. We tried more expensive restaurants on Gili T, but honestly we were always disappointed, while here we were never once let down. Best meals we had on the island, 100% recommend!

Delicious local food at a great price! We had the chicken curry which was delicious (with super juicy chicken!) and the mie goreng which was also really good. We also tried the mozzarella sticks which had an amazing cheese pull. Would definitely recommend.

Without a doubt the BEST FOOD on Gili Meno! We tried so many places that people recommended us. None of them was just what we were looking for… Before we found Simpang 3 warung! The most tastfull and freshly prepaired food you’ll find. The springrolls was so crispy both inside and outside; loved the greens! And the local food like Mie and Nasi goreng is SO yummy! And there’s plenty of it. No need to order more than one dish even for a grown up and hungry man. ;-)

So happy to found this place through good reviews, and yes this is the best food I had while in the Meno! Ordered fish curry and grilled tuna. The fish curry is tasty, with creamy coconut milk, a bit tangy, fresh fish chunk, yum! The grilled tuna is nice, but the star is the garlic butter dipping, wow! Dish cooked by bapak & ibu couple, they’re also friendly. You should try eat here. 👍🏻

Small Family run restaurant, with great service. The food was delicious with extremely fast service. The restaurant is run by a family that were extremely welcoming to us, they even allowed us to pop in and see a bunch of kittens daily. The food is your typical Indonesians food, which is absolutely delicious. I tried the salmon Curry and my god was is delicious, pretty much emptied the plate dry when I finished. This is a must go to when visiting Gili Meno. The restaurant is located pretty central of the island so not too hard to get too, an easy 5 min cycle ride from either side of North or South of the island!

Good bar, restaurant, rooms and the food was delicieus! The music very nice, nice swimmingpool, as the people who work there: very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much and will definately come back for a longen stay!

Sama Sama has the exact vibe you imagine when you think of a true island bar. Live music, great energy, and people from all over the world just enjoying themselves together. The band was fantastic, the atmosphere was buzzing, and everyone felt like friends by the end of the night. Tip: Don’t miss their happy hour on Mondays and Wednesdays after 9 PM — 4 shots of vodka or tequila for only 100K. Absolute steal and the perfect way to kick off the night!

On our last night in Gili, we were pub crawling and ended up at the iconic Sama Sama Reggae Bar. At first, we thought they only served drinks since we weren’t given a food menu, so we just grabbed a couple of beers. The place was packed with people, the energy was amazing, and the live band was absolutely wild — such a great vibe all around. We had a gala time here, and to top it off, there was no tax or service charge on the bill, which was a nice surprise. Definitely a must-visit spot in Gili T if you love music and want to party the night away.

The owner n staffs are friendly n helpful. The room is a bit old(but clean). the toilet is new. Clean and very hot water shower. (If u think u dont have hot water, then turn on the cold water 🤣 the signs are opposite ) Nice pool. Nice live music everynight. U cant hear the music in bedroom. except the Saturday party nights , u might need to use earplugs PS. U can hear Different types of live music in samasama . sunset time is my favourite, they sing chill n relax tropical songs❤️ Would like to stay here again next time!

Best bar on this island for live music, even in low season it‘s crowded there and you‘ll have a good time. All the locals go there too, so you‘ll find new friends pretty easily

Pleasant 3 night stay in a pool villa. Probably in the upper range of hotels/resorts on the Island. A smallish boutique type venue with a relaxed vibe. Pool villa for us was the right choice to give thay extra pool access and space. Well situated just outside the busy tourist strip but with plenty of options within walking distance. Good service from the team. Pool area well laid out and neatly tended with a fun pool.bar area. Overall a decent place for short stay.

We really liked the complex. It’s nicely designed, the room was spacious, the air conditioning worked well, and the bedding was clean. The service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is close to the center, about a 10-minute walk, yet still peaceful. The pool and bar are very nice. On the downside, the towels are older and worn out, and the bathroom lacks privacy as it is not completely separated between the rooms.

We loved staying here! It was a short walk from the port with luggage, large rooms with air-con, wonderful pools, a great beach view, friendly staff, and we LOVED the access to bikes every day. I would highly recommend staying here. A great value for the price. Breakfast was just ok compared to previous places we stayed on our trip, but also very convenient.

Good stay, good hotel, friendly staff and not over the top prices for dining options. Food was good as well. Breakfast is ala carte so it isn't the all you can eat option. Nevertheless it still tasted great. It is located very close to the harbour and situated well distanced away from the noise but still closeby for the action. Oh to add as reminder that this isn't a sunset spot so you may need to travel to the back of the island to enjoy the view.

If staying here it’s essential that you book the 1st floor ocean view it’s an absolute must. It’s the best view from this hotel on the whole island. ALL staff are very friendly, great service with a smile. Hamish in particular was very smiley and we had some great interactions with him. The location is perfect you can walk to all restaurants and bars or you can hire a bike or electric scooter which I found to be better as it can get very hot. The pool area is calm and a great place to chill, read a book etc. the grounds are kept well. Breakfast is decent and always accompanied with a wine glass size fresh fruit mix. We decided to book early morning snorkelling for the following day. As we were leaving so early breakfast would not be open so I asked a staff member if we could maybe have a take away to eat on the boat as we need some energy for us amateurs to swim in the sea. I was referred to the manager and we asked her if we could just have a little fruit mix as described above. We didn’t ask for a full breakfast as we didn’t expect them to open up the kitchen early and staff to start early just for us. The following morning we collected the to go fruit mix. We were kindly provided a large bowl of cut fruit which I appreciated. When we returned at 10.40am there was still 20mins left before the kitchen closes. We asked if we could have breakfast and were seated. The manager popped out and said we were not entitled to breakfast as we were given fruit. We explained we wasn’t aware and infact never asked for a large portion of fruit we assumed the fruit mix would be what they provide day in day out. The manager, she proceeded by telling us the owners have set rules and they won’t be happy. Again we explained we appreciate the large bowl of fruit but we didn’t ask for it, my wife isn’t that keen on fruit and she only ate a little for the essential energy needed. The manager sternly said there’s nothing she can do and that the chef was annoyed he had to cut extra fruit, this is when I felt insulted as I know this is a lie. It’s a bit of fruit, the chef has to chop another 50 bowls and cook another 50 breakfasts so I hardly think a little fruit ruined his day. However the manager made us feel bad so we just left and said no probs we will buy breakfast from elsewhere. We went to our room and my wife took a shower, the manager called and said “I feel terrible would you like to eat breakfast” I replied my wife’s in the shower and will be out shortly. The time was now 11am so technically the kitchen should be closed. I asked my wife if she would like to take up the offer and we decided not to as she was upset and I personally didn’t think it was right for the kitchen staff to have to stay longer especially since chopping a little extra fruit apparently annoyed the chef. We now were leaving to seek breakfast elsewhere, the kind waiters stopped me and said please eat breakfast here it’s not a problem. I respectfully declined and said to the boys I wouldn’t want to keep you here after your shift it’s not fair. When we returned from breakfast the staff offered us ice cream but again we respectfully declined. I mentioned I wanted to speak to the manager, I just wanted to explain to her that’s not the way you deal with customers. Maybe she had a hard week I’m not sure but I just wanted to give her good advice. The staff said she’ll be back at 5pm. I never did bump into her again until our final day at breakfast. I didn’t bother having that chat with her, it’s her loss. As pharmacist in the UK and I’ve managed various pharmacies. To be a good manager it isn’t about being stern, and all issues are not black or white, it’s about getting the best results. In this case the hotel lost our custom becuase throughout our stay we never purchased a single meal, drink, coffee or dessert. We were spoilt for choice within walking distance. So as a result they would have lost around £250-£300 we could have spent with them. This is the only reason for my low ratings. Without this incident I would have rated 5 for service otherwise.

I dont want to sound dramatic but the food here is hands down the best food ive ever had. The Thai curry- we have had 2 nights in a row as its so unbearably good- we couldn't resist. The hummus, chicken wings, pad thai and steak- all delicious but the thai curry is unbeatable!! Prices are ridiculously good and the restaurant is aestheticly pleasing as u could want! Service amazing. Just bloody go will u its so good!! Xx

This restaurant is a real gem! The vegan food is fantastic, with plenty of delicious breakfast choices and beautifully served meals. They offer a wide variety of drinks, although no alcohol, and the small bites are perfect for sharing. The staff are truly amazing – welcoming and attentive. I loved the thoughtful touches like a cold towel for your face and free water to start. The setting is gorgeous, with a lush green garden, and everything feels modern and spotlessly clean. There’s also a lovely little store where you can buy home décor items, beauty products, as well as coffee and tea to take home. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy fresh vibrant food, and even pick up something special to bring back with you!

I absolutely love this veggie/vegan friendly restaurant! The food is delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and the place is such a vibe and very spacious. I was in Gili Air for 3 days and came here everyday, because the staff made me feel so at home & I absolutely loved their food. The jackfruit tacos are to die for!!! They’re so light and just the right amount of food. Their beefless rendang is also sooo delicious!!! The rendang sauce is so creamy & the beefless rendang is very flavorful! Thank you Sylvie & staff for being so incredible. I really hope you guys can make your way to the USA & open up a chain here (especially in Los Angeles 😉) Can’t wait to come back again soon!!!

Such a lovely vegan/vegetarian café with a beautiful outdoor area! You sit in a gorgeous, lush garden that’s clearly been designed with a lot of love. The staff are super friendly, and we were welcomed and served right away. The menu has plenty of options - great for breakfast, lunch, or just some snacks in between. We tried three different dishes and loved them all. The tacos and rice rolls were our favorites, and the coffee was excellent too! Definitely a must-visit on Gili Air! We highly recommend this place :)

This place is an absolute gem and I'm not even vegan, I'm actually a big meat eater and I won't give up my meat anytime soon. Every single dish is so well thought and executed that we had to come twice. We've been here two years ago and they only got better! If you're somehow vegan I'd consider moving to Gili Air for their food.

AMAZING, definitely a hidden gem! This is hands-down the place to be! The food is amazing, the service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is simply delightful. Portions are generous, prices are surprisingly reasonable, and every detail feels thoughtful. Right from the start, you’re welcomed with a free drink or water and a refreshing wet towel scented with lemongrass. On the table, you’ll always find their self-made mosquito repellent and hand sanitizer – a small but brilliant touch. My wife and I have been here multiple times, and our favorites so far are: Drink: Thenutdate Starter: Rösti snack Mains: Beefless Rendang & Jackfruit Tacos Dessert: (Still exploring – but everything so far has been great!) Next door, they also have a beautiful, high-quality store and café where you could easily spend the whole day. Between the food, the service, and the charm, this spot is a gem worth coming back to again and again. By the way everything ist vegan/ plant based.

We had a few coffee here during our stay in Giliair.. this place is a lovely garden with friendly staff. Their ice creams are fantastic and beautiful! They provide hand sanitizer and local handlotion for you ont the table.

Overall a clean, well kept and friendly hotel. Rooms are on the small side but comfortable for a couple. Pool is quite small but well maintained. Breakfast is average. Staff very friendly and helpful, probably the best part about the stay, Also close to port and restaurants which can make it bit noisier.

Our stay at Hotel Jago was simply perfect! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and come with a private pool – ideal for relaxing. One of the real highlights was the breakfast: every day you can choose between 3–4 different options, all fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. The hotel is located right on the Mainroad, making it super central and convenient. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the young and dedicated team. Every single member is incredibly friendly, energetic, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You immediately feel welcomed and cared for. A very special mention goes to Herry – such a kind and charismatic person who always takes care of every need, shares the best recommendations for beaches and activities, and brought us so many laughs every day. Thanks to him, we discovered beautiful places, booked a great snorkeling (2 times) trip through the hotel, and even used the laundry service with ease. This hotel stands out not only because of its great facilities but especially because of its warm atmosphere and the amazing team. We would come back anytime just for them – and of course for the excellent breakfast. Thank you for making our stay so special, we’re already looking forward to next time!

We spent four weeks at Jago and felt truly at home. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the communal facilities were fantastic, but what stood out were the staff - Winston, Herry, Ulfi and the team were wonderful. We were so well taken care of and every request was met with a smile. The resort is centrally located but felt like a little oasis away from the hubbub of the main street. We were able to easily walk or ride to everything on the island within 10 minutes. Like everywhere, you could hear the mosque, but the rooms and lush garden dampened the sound quite effectively. Ear plugs were provided for sensitive sleepers. A specific note for those working abroad: the wifi was great - very fast and reliable - and we were comfortable working either in the room or out in the communal outdoor area.

Lovely clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, they let us check in early, arranged a private snorkelling tour, gave us a great food recommendations. Very chilled and relaxing by the pool with plenty of sun loungers and cushions.

We absolutely loved our stay at Akasia Villas (we stayed at the one bedroom villa)! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and easy – like a home away from home! The service was truly amazing. One of the things that stood out the most was how quick and helpful the team was via WhatsApp. We asked if we could hire bikes for the day, and within minutes we got a friendly reply asking when we’d like them. Not even 10 minutes later, two bikes were parked right in front of our villa, ready to go! That level of service really made our stay feel so effortless and relaxed. The villa itself was super clean and comfortable – you can tell the team takes great care in keeping everything tidy and inviting. We also really enjoyed the breakfast service each morning – so delicious and such a nice way to start the day! Would absolutely recommend staying here – we’re already talking about coming back!

The best 3 days of my life in that awesome villa with the loveliest staff who helped my now-fiance to plan his birthday surprise for me (which was actually a proposal 🥹). First the flower decoration in the pool, omg!!!! And the rest of the stay didn't disappoint! The villa is gorgeous, decorated with taste, comfortable, very clean, and offers a bubble of peace, a moment out of time. Breakfast is delivered to the villa every morning and you're requested to choose what you want + delivery time every night through their website, with a WhatsApp reminder. Genius ! - and so convenient! And delicious! Would definitely stay there again a thousand times, I wish we could have stayed longer... Thank you so much for everything and see you next time !

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Akasia Villas. From start to finish the staff were so welcoming, kind and accommodating. We had fresh welcome drinks upon arrival before being shown around our beautiful villa. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The entire villa was clean and had no mosquitos. Even the bed linen and the mosquito netting looked as though they had been carefully selected to tie the space together. The bathroom had plenty of space with hot water, beautiful finished and lots of natural lighting. We had breakfast each morning which was delicious and had many selections! We were able to select what time we wanted it to arrive. The location is great! You can hire a bike one minute away from the villas and it’s a short ride to the main section of the island. Pitque, mamma pizza and Santorini are all must try’s! It is also a one minute ride from the gym and beach! The staff went to the effort of setting up a Happy Birthday sign one night while we were out for dinner. It was such a lovely touch as we had only mentioned it to the owners in passing. We had such a lovely stay at Akasia Villas and would recommend to anyone looking for a little slice of paradise! We will definitely be coming back!

What an absolute treat! We loved our stay at Akasia Villas. The location was amazing, as we could ride our bikes (which we could rent through the villas) or walk around the island or into town with ease. The rooms were spacious and very clean and all of the little details made the experience extra special. Our villa had a beautiful big pool and we even had breakfast delivered in the morning! We will definitely be back! Thank you to the staff for being so kind and helpful during our stay.

Beautiful villa in a great center location close enough to get anywhere while still being in a quiet peaceful area. The staff Danny and Ozzy were so helpful and you could communicate through WhatsApp for all your needs. We rented bicycles from them for our whole stay. The rooms even have a smart TV with Netflix/youtube! Also we definitely recommend the floating breakfast!! It was beautiful and created such a special moment for us. We had a wonderful time during our stay. Highly recommend!!

We spent 4 days there, and we were literally in looovvee with the staff, the villa and the beach. Everything was perfect, I would give 10 stars to the amazing people working there, always willing to help and to make the vacation unforgettable. I'm so grateful 🙏 grazie ☺️ 💓

The Gili Beach Bum Hostel is highly recommended! It's always clean, and everything is cleaned regularly. Beds are made upon request. The rooms are very spacious, so there's more than enough room. Right next to the Gili Beach Bum is the Lava Bar, where there's a party every night (karaoke, bingo, etc.), so if you're in the mood to party, the Gili Beach Bum is the perfect place! Best wishes to Ina, who was always friendly and helpful.

We had such a great time staying at this Hostel the atmosphere was super friendly and social. The staff was helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we can highly recommend the Beach Bum Hostel.

I had very nice stay at this hostel! Ery, Rina and all staff is so caring and helpful it really felt like one big family. Rooms are clean, with AC, nice bar upstairs to kick-off the evening. Definitely recommend, if you are looking for fun and good energy🫶 thank you 4 having me

Probably one of my favorite places I’ve stayed during my whole trip in Indonesia. The hostel is super chill, cozy, and clean — the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. There’s something really special about the vibe here. Ina and Eri are absolute gems. They’re always smiling, kind, and genuinely care about every guest. You can feel they put their heart into this place. Whether it’s helping you figure out your day, offering a local tip, or just sharing a warm laugh, they make everything better. I’ll always remember their kindness. Shoutout to Diego too, the manager, he has a super energy and he's very friendly ! The beds are comfy, there’s enough space to relax, and the location is great. If you’re coming to Gili T, this place is a no-brainer. Stay here. You might come for the island, but you’ll stay for the people.

Nice large rooms and great staff always helpful and go the extra mile Obviously Gilli Trawangan is a party island so expect some noise but everything goes quiet 12pm I enjoyed the vibe and being in the older category would probably choose something quieter next time, but like I said it's party time Great burgers from lava bar and such a good selection of fresh seafood wherever you go there , food was banging This place good value for money, clean and well looked after daily so my advice jump at it

Friendly staff. Nice location. Lots of activities. Everything is clean. Spacious rooms. Everybody working here is always happy to assist. The reception staff, Ina and Ayu are very hardworking and helpful!

Best hostel I’ve been in! Staff goes above and beyound! Went alone, day 1 felt like home. Lava bar is such a vibe as well. Recommend!
