Love this iconic bridge, Let's me know I'm Home and it's a good tourist attraction, when walking across, if you look down you can see 100+ feet below and see Skeena River in all its glory. Plus our mountain is always a nice for pics.

Cool one-way at a time bridge with a few different small trails to follow and explore the surrounding area. Nice views to sit and enjoy for a bit too.

A must see on a tourists itinerary, from the Hazelton side you can park, get out and walk the bridge, not a place for people who are afraid of heights.

It was a pleasant walk with benches, a gazebo, and interpretive signs about the local flora and fauna. There is no entrance fee and it is located near the Stewart Visitor Centre.

A must-see when visiting Stewart BC. Enter at park adjacent the Tourist Information centre. There are several educational info plaques describing local flora, fauna, and geography located at handy platforms along the way.

Wow what a gem!! Very simple and awesome campground, well kept including pit toilets and has a beautiful creek running through the property. Water is available from a hand pump making the experience even more fun. Janine is a terrific host and we really enjoyed chatting with her. If you like basic camping and are on your way to Prince Rupert for the day. I recommend booking your site on your way up and come back after your day in Prince Rupert. Thanks Janine, awesome park!!

Great, quiet spot this early in the season. We were the only over night guests though the beautiful day use area had lots of visitors. The location was beautiful, the camp sites nice and the host was great.

Kleanza Creek is such a lovely, breath of fresh air. The whole park is gorgeous and soothing to the soul. You can enjoy it anytime of the year although the gates are only open May 5, 2022 – Sept. 19, 2022. There is so much to do here. A few activities I've personally enjoyed are snowshoeing, hiking and white water kayaking. It's also a great place for leisure, if you wanna just sit back and enjoy the water, have a picnic or go camping this is a guaranteed brilliant experience.

Beautiful, well maintained campground and picnic area. Gorgeous view of the water fall. Cleanest pit toilets we have ever seen (they actually smell like cedar and not like an outhouse!).

It's a stunning park about 15 mins drive from Terrace. Well maintained campsite and some beautiful trails along with the creek. It's a great spot where you can spend time and relax with family, friends, or your pets.

Lovely little park! The operators are the friendliest we have ever met, and they keep the grounds well cleaned and accessible. Bathrooms are pit toilets, but still kept very clean. Campsites are almost all well shaded and quite private, and sites along the creek blot out any noise of fellow campers with the rushing water. The creek itself is very pretty, with a viewpoint at the top of a cliff available after a quick 1.5km walk. Will definitely be going back!

Pearl gave us a great guided tour, sharing a lot of very interesting and informative stories and background of this amazingly rich culture. Beautiful museum and tons of cool artifacts with knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

An amazing experience. So many lovely artifacts and knowledgeable staff to answer questions. I am not exaggerating to say our visit to the Nisga'a Nation was life changing.

Very beautiful museum. The displays are so close & stunning, you’ll want to touch them (but don’t). Many of them are not behind glass so you can see them up close. There are invisible alarms to deter you from getting too close though. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is there is no description or stories to help you understand the history. While it’s a lovely exhibit, I like to learn & it was unfortunate this museum did not meet my expectations. I took a picture of an item and had to ask the woman at the front desk what it was. She was so kind and helpful, and shared her knowledge, which I greatly appreciated at the time.

This is an amazing facility with stunning exhibitions and totally amazing staff. As a former Education Department Manager for the Art Gallery of Alberta, I know what it takes to research, connect with and deliver an interpretive tour to the general public. The young woman who delivered our tour experience was engaging, thoughtful and made our learning experience quite memorable. As a resident and member of the nation upon which this Gallery stands, she imparted a sincerity and truth to her knowledge sharing that you simply wouldn't have in another exhibition setting.

Such a lovely museum. The entrance is incredible. The collection is impressive and a great insight into Nisag'a culture and history. Make sure you take advantage of the guided tour. Try and get there at least an hour before they close so you can get the tour and have some time on your own. Everyone working there was lovely and knowledgeable! Thanks for having us.

We drove a long ways to see the museum...I phoned the museum yesterday from Terrace and the lady said they were open today. Well guess what! We get here and they are still CLOSED. I am in my late 70's so it is the last crack at seeing this place!

I was amongst a group of 6 ladies who arranged a guided tour of the museum. It was a young girl who gave the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great detail about all the artifacts. The museum is beautiful and do is the gift shop. We then participated in a workshop and made leather medicine bags. The entire Nass valley is worth visiting.

What a beautiful tribute to the past! This collection of working cabins, from the smithery to the one room schoolhouse is a treat! We loved the sweet kitty cat who seemed to want to be our guide, too!

A good history of settlement in Terrace. Ten different buildings sit on the site; eight of these are original log structures relocated to the Museum grounds from various locations in the Terrace area. Within each of the buildings there are artefact displays exhibiting the local settlement history of Terrace and the surrounding area. Displays highlight industries such as logging, mining, trapping, farming, and tourism, as well as the general ways of life of newcomers to this area. Tours are offered. Entrance by donation.

Love this place!! They always make it fun for the kids, whether its Haloween or Easter, the kids always have a blast. We also enjoy the car shows here as well. They always have lots of fun stuff going on here. The kids especially love the pony rides on Canada day as well 👍

Small but mighty!! This lovely museum is worth a visit in picturesque Stewart. Full of fascinating mining history, great artifacts and beautiful rocks. The story of Stewart and nearby Hyder USA is interesting. Such stunning mountains and rugged country!

Very cool little spot to check out. The trees are enormous. Worth checking out if you are interested in photography and it has many opportunities for some interesting shots. My fiancé and I stopped in our way to a fishing trip on the west coast and I am glad we did.

It's such a cool giant spruce tree in the park. Also, It's the biggest tree I've ever seen so far in my life. Well maintained, and parking available on site.

A great look at some natural giants. Parking is easy and the trail is quite short. The tree is dying, but the cycle is inevitable. Don't let the negative comments detour you. If you can, head a bit further down the road to access a beautiful riverside trail.

Going to see the Giant Spruce is a experience you can not miss. It will give you a feeling of awe as you stand looking up under the majestic trees. The trees seem as if they are monarchs of time.

The Sitka Spruce are beautiful, amazing. Day trips are great, but the night views offer something special, to sit and enjoy, listen to the sounds of the wildlife. Well worth the trip

Time spent well!!! This Sitka Spruce is oldest(500 Year) known living organism in the Kitimat Valley. This Giant Spruce is standing 165 feet tall and 37 feet in circumference. You can go ahead along the trail and spend some good time on the River.

God's beautiful creations. It is amazing to see all the ancient trees still standing and being protected. Peaceful and good place to relax and appreciate nature.

Cafe/pastry order: Iced americano, caramel macchiato, tiramisu, blueberry cheesecake. The coffee has a rich, roasted, full taste! No sour after taste. Both of the pastries were really good and not too sweet. It looks like they have different specialty pastries/cake every time, which is nice. Definitely way better than other “trendier”/“newer” places in Terrace. Brunch order: special chicken bowl, pad thai, pomegranate raspberry homemade iced tea. Hubby liked the special chicken bowl; a karaage-type chicken with mayo, teriyaki sauce topping. The pad thai looks like a popular dish in this place, but it was mediocre-tasting/does not taste “authentic”… The noodles had a strong starchy smell and taste, and the sauce looked pale. I also wish it was served in a bowl for easier eating/mixing. Atmosphere wasn’t the best; it looks like it’s a fusion between an old restaurant and a cafe (maybe they’re in the process of updating?). They had a lot of spots to access plug-ins so it was nice. Would definitely visit again for the coffee and pastries!

Always has great food. Makes the best chai lattes I've ever had. I love trying the seasonal drinks. Sometimes it gets busy so it would be nice if the seating had an overhaul, and with comfier seating.

Probably the best place to relax and have coffee in Terrace. Good WiFi, comfortable seats, a wide selection of baked goods and a large number of beverages. Lots of room if you have a few friends coming along. Prices after COVID seem to be fair.

Great little local coffee shop with yummy food and good drinks. Wifi is fast and electrical outlets are plentiful. Lots of seating. One of my favourite places to come and hang out.

Cafenara, located in central Terrace is an great cafe with some amazing food. The service was quick, the staff were friendly, and I would recommend this place to anyone who may be looking for a nice lunch/dinner spot.

Food is always yummy and plentiful. The side-salad with the Lunch deal was almost a meal in itself and had different greens, carrots, peppers, red onions and beets. Very yummy. The pizza is always good. Service was a bit slow both times we were in here - slow to get the bill.

Anytime I order food from here, it depends on who's in the kitchen just will get my wings with a liner at the bottom and then when a specific person who's in the kitchen that night she seems to never put one in, I thought when you work at a restaurant you have to leave your problems at the door. I rather not have my little amount of sauce wet the cardboard enough that it would fall right through. Do better Justice, Ive been told this isn't the first review you've had at this establishment. The foods good, just getting sick and tired of this happening only when you're working kitchen. Ordered online and received my food sooner than expected and the delivery drive was great. My Caesar salad and coleslaw was pretty good. Chicken bites are always delicious. My ribs though… I have never tossed ribs in the trash. I was pretty hungry so ate half of them but they taste like they were soaked in water all day. I travel a fair bit and have tried the ribs from most locations in bc and have always been decent. Do not order them from here, you will be sadly disappointed.

We spent $90 on takeout dinner. one of the meals was the spinach and artichoke dip. This cost $16 and it was just a skim of dip across this little container. when you go in store does it cost more? because every time i’ve went it you got a large portion of fresh (not burnt) dip. kinda disappointed after spending so much money on this.

I love the perogy pizza here! Big portions for salads and entrees, so consider sharing if you expect a portion for one. Great food and casual setting. It does seem to be higher priced than other pizza places. The desserts are great!

We tried Don Diego’s in Terrace and ordered the chicken enchilada, prawn cilantro rice bowl, and grilled chicken salad. The food was good and nicely prepared, but it didn’t really feel like authentic Mexican cuisine. Even the atmosphere felt off — instead of Mexican music, they were playing Indian music, which didn’t fit the theme. What really stood out was how slow the service was, especially considering there weren’t many people in the restaurant at the time. It made the dining experience feel longer than it needed to be. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you want to try something different, but if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and quicker service, this might not be the place.

Okay, Terrace, seriously, if you haven't been to Don Diego's yet, you are doing yourself a disservice. I just had an experience there that was genuinely five-star, and I'm still thinking about it! First off, let's talk about the incredible feat I witnessed: there was essentially one server running that entire place – front of house, taking orders, serving, everything – all by herself (aside from the kitchen, of course!). And she was absolutely amazing and incredibly attentive. She handled everything with grace and a smile, making sure everyone felt taken care of. You just don't see that kind of dedication often. Even the cook came out to check on things, which was a great touch and showed how much they care. The food itself? Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious. You could taste how fresh everything was, which makes such a difference. I loved the assortment of hot sauce on the table, giving you options to customize your spice level. My crab-stuffed chicken dish was fantastic, bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. But, and prepare yourselves for this, the real, undeniable winner of the night was the banana cake. I am not exaggerating when I say this was absolutely the greatest cake I have ever had in my entire life, and I'm 44. It was moist, perfectly sweet, and just pure heaven. And it wasn't just a sliver – it was a MASSIVE piece! In fact, the *only* downside to this entire restaurant experience was how sore my stomach was afterward, because I literally couldn't stop eating the cake! I kept telling myself, "just one more bite," until it was nearly gone. Don Diego's isn't just a meal; it's an experience. Incredible fresh food, phenomenal service, and a banana cake that will haunt your dreams (in the best way possible). Go. Just go!

We booked Don Diego’s for our wedding welcome party after previous good experiences here. Unfortunately, the experience was an absolute embarrassment and ruined the night before our wedding. We were reassured repeatedly by the owner that if we filled the restaurant (which we did), we would have it to ourselves between 7:00 and 7:30. Instead, when our guests arrived, the place was packed — including a table of 14+ people. Only two servers were working, so service was beyond dismal. My elderly family members waited over an hour for a glass of water. The bridal party was literally bussing tables, and the bride herself had to hand out chips just so people had something to eat while they waited. By 9:30 pm, the bride and groom still hadn’t received food. They had to ask for it to-go and leave their own welcome party hungry while most of their guests were still sitting without meals. This is not just poor service — it’s completely unacceptable. When the father of the groom tried to negotiate (at the very least) free chips, removing the $35/plate charge the owner had previously insisted on, or dropping the automatic gratuity, the only concession she made was letting go of the $35/plate charge. She still charged the regular menu rate — which, considering the abysmal service, is wildly overpriced. The truth is simple: the food is good but overpriced, and the owner is greedy. This place used to have a good reputation, but it’s gone completely downhill. Don Diego’s is not just badly run — it’s a reflection of an owner who values squeezing every dollar over honoring commitments, hospitality, or basic human decency. Save yourself the disappointment. Terrace deserves better.

Sushi & Bento.. So good, was craving and it hit the spot, delicious martinis too! Will be back for sure! Fast service, great food, pleasant atmosphere. Haven't brought my kids yet, but have seen kids enjoying their food there both times I've been now and thinking it's time to treat mine to some Blue Fin next visit 😁

Definitely the best restaurant in Terrace for sushi. Salmon is fresh and full of flavour. Customer service is on point and very friendly. The restaurant could use more options like squid tendril, skewers etc. Like most comparable restaurants. The price point is a bit on the pricier side but justified. The environment is clean and live.

I’ve always heard that Haryana’s was good. I ate there this week and that was NOT my experience. I ordered two different curries— both medium hot. The heat was there but the flavour was not. And one of the curries was oversalted. It’s like the cook just mailed it in. The prices are not cheap. I’ve had much tastier curry, and at a better price, elsewhere in Terrace (Dish and Dine, for example, had a great lamb curry on their buffet and the price was really good).

We went to explore this new restaurant. We were in a group of 3, did not get good service at all. The price was bit higher than other restaurants as they make everything from scratch which is fine. We ordered panner makhni and chapati, server did not mention they are busy with online order ( pickup order) . We got our food after 30 min which is okay. At the same time, we order 3 chapati and Naan, the server reaction was not good. She mentioned, we are busy with the online order so please order all food now but did not mentioned when we were ordering for the first time. We did wait for the Naan and chapati for almost 25 minutes, no chapati at all. When we asked how much time it will take, kitchen staff mentioned another 10 minutes. We denied to have food from there. It’s a waste of time. The service and behaviour of the staff was not at all friendly. The procedure followed there is online order has the highest priority compare to Dine in order. We understand FiFo (first in first out), but the concept from the staff is order all the food before 35 minutes ago and let it be lingered there, while guest eat other food. Overall, Not at all good experience.

The female owner is very argumentative. She is not accountable for poor quality food. Her reply is, we’ve done it this way for 15 years…..she raises her voice. The entire restaurant can hear her talking. I asked her to stop talking to me….she is embarrassing

Indian-Mexican fusion. Two bests cuisines in the world. Food is consistently quality over many visits. First visit with my daughters and they gave it 5 stars. Nice atmosphere inside and on the patio. Service was excellent.

Now as far as restaurant status it looks amazing, probably good service inside. I don't complain much but if your ordering pick up I highly suggest you don't. I asked for butter chicken wrap as mild as possible. Paid 25$ just to find out there was literally next to no chicken and it was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. And I didn't get a offer for a new order so yea quite disappointed with the establishment these days.

A lot of GF dishes, but not clearly marked at the menu. Took the Punjabi rice bowl, and it was delicious. Compared to other Indian restaurant, it’s a little bit expensive for the portion.

Ordered the butter chicken poutine and took advantage of their option to substitute the chicken for tofu and got vegetarian butter sauce. This dish was amazing! Little bit of a spicy kick although the waitress said the degree of spicy can be manipulated. The atmosphere is private and warm. The service was quick and personal. The food came in minutes (I was eating alone). Fantastic place to eat. This is a very vegetarian, vegan and gluten free option restaurant.

It's a fun place for my kids. It has a sports bar atmosphere that's not really my thing but my son loves it. The food is good especially if you enjoy spicy options. If your vegetarian the options are petty limited, cauliflower "wings" or a few different salad choices. The wings are good as are the street tacos and the hot pastrami sandwich. My kids love to eat here.

This restaurant is hit and miss for service. When it is good... it's great! The lady with really long hair is wonderful. The kids menu is awesome. Most of the food I have had I really enjoy. If you are GF ... skip their bun and hope they do a lettuce wrap. It's very crumbly and dry. I will take my family there again :)

Unfortunately my calamari did not have the tzatziki sauce, so had ranch, which was okay. And salad was a salad. The food was overall average. The restaurant was a little tied looking. On the plus side the ice teas were good.

Went there on Wednesday when they have they have their wing special. The wings were delicious. I tried 4 types of wing sauces (Sweet Thai Chilli, Maple Bourbon, BBQ Heat and Wesr Coast Lemon Pepper. I personally prefer saucy wings over dry rubs, but I did enjoy all of them. I will be going back again.

Hands down best perogies ever.... I will get them everytime im in terrace now. Herb and garlic wings really good with garlic aoli dip. Butter chicken pretty good. But im still looking for that perfect tomatoe saucey butter chicken.

Five stars for the wings and one star for the service. The beer was warm and it took them a while to help us. If we go back, it will only be for the wings and not the service. And if you like spicy food, then you have to try the Bobby wings. But if you think that Buffalo wings is hot then these will be too hot for you. Have an awsumer day/night an keep smiling!

The server was great! Polite, funny, courteous, and when I let her know how I felt about the food, she did her best to make things right. The food, however...Well, the Nashville chicken sandwich picture is beautiful! Two nice crisp breasts or thighs. With pickles,coleslaw, and bun. Anyway, I could go on, but let this picture decide if it's how'd you want to spend your money.

Good it's always legendary especially the burgers. Mike burgers are the best but so was the blue iced tea? Highly recommended to eat here! Service could use some help, not very efficient to us? But maybe your experience will be better?

The food was great. Went in with a group of 20 on a work trip. Service was great, drinks and food came fast. Everyone enjoyed their meals after a long week of working 12 hour days.

I like to find a happy hour spot when I get to a new town and this place has some great options. I've tried the chicken sandwich and came back for the slider burgers - they are so tasty! Great selection of drinks. I like how the happy hour goes later too - nice to grab a late night bite at a decent price. It's also nice to have a reliable steakhouse in town where you know the quality you're getting. I have found staff is very attentive and friendly to everyone (Beth is often there in the afternoon with a welcoming smile!) and the food comes out fast and hot every time. All the managers are lovely and right there to help. The only downside to this restaurant is that it doesn't have a bar to sit at. It's one of those MUST HAVE's in a town like Terrace with so many travelling workers coming through, there are a lot of people spread out at tables by themselves and it really doesn't create a welcoming atmosphere for solo guests, which happens often in these types of towns. I hope that they seriously consider renovating the place and adding a bar, because it would really help improve the atmosphere for the remote workforce that visits town regularly.

The service was good and same as the food, it's can't remember my server's name, but she was very helpful and informative. I always look forward to stopping in there for dinner when I'm in town on buisness. I just remembered her name. Bethany. Thanks for your great service.

The server Brooklyn was excellent, on the ball and friendly. The gent who brought out the food was awesome and personable. This crew is what you hope for when you visit a chain restaurant.

Had a great visit at Mr Mikes — friendly atmosphere and solid service. Just wanted to shout out Frank — I noticed how respectfully and calmly he carried himself. Quiet but clearly focused and present. People like him make a difference even without being in the spotlight. Wishing him the best with the team.

Best food in terrace. lamb chops are very tasty and very good.

I had an exceptional experience with might her name kaur she is Always happy to help everyone asks how I am. Every time I visit she made my evening memorable. This is the best place I ever had been in terrace.

The worst food I've ever had. We got takeout and I spit out the chicken sandwhich. I'm unsure if it was the bacon or the chicken but it tasted old. As did the gravy on the poutine. The avocado in the salad was rock hard. Not sure how they cut it. I called to ask for a refund for part of my $100 order and nobody followed up, so hopefully I can warn others, at the very least.

Food was absolutely amazing. Butter chicken special was very spicy, and delicious. Came with delicious rice, and incredible house made pakora + sauces. The service was great overall. The atmosphere was very quiet, would've been great to have some music for some background noise. Would eat here again for sure.

We had the fish tacos and calamari. Everything tasted amazing. Our server was also amazing and very patient when our debit card had issues. 10/10 highly recommend!

Food was amazing! Everything is amazing. The Indian is outta control, and the chicken is cooked in a Portuguese style with pesto and sauce. Very high quality in food. Definitely unexpected from the hotel restaurant. The service was weird. She was new and it showed.

Everything here is great. But my two favorite things are the cookies and muffins. Cookies are soft and chewy on the inside with a slight crunch on the outside edges. The muffins have a crunchy top and fluffy cakey inside. Taste and texture on everything is beautiful. To add, consistency, everything always tastes the same as a previous time. Friendly team of bakers.

This is a great little bakery with fresh made in store product, also you're able to buy day old frozen product at a reduced cost. Lots of variety breads, cookies, muffins, scones and my personal favourite, pies! If you're lucky they do have seasonal items like some Christmas tarts and such. They also have some local eggs, micro greens and ice cream, supporting community business. In the colder seasons they also have Exposition Coffee situated inside the shop, great espresso style drinks and teas. Lastly the staff are friendly and kind :)

*review of everything except the taste* I wanted to surprise my friend, who lives in Terrace, with something special. I found this bakery on Google, messaged them on Facebook to see if they could deliver and after I told them the location, they said yes! Their current menu is simple - bread, pies, cookies. FB shows they make scones and cinnamon buns but unfortunately those are not available right now. I got the classic (and their most popular) apple pie. Unfortunately, I did not get to taste it myself so this review is based on their wonderful service (and the feedback from my friend). He loved the pie - "fresh, good pastry to filling ratio, and yummy!" I'm so glad they were able to help me with this little surprise and delivered it for me. I would definitely visit when I get an opportunity to visit Terrace!

EVERYTHING at B.E. is fantastic. I do not make that claim lightly. Their breads come in a wide variety along with many other baked goods, and their pies are absolutely to die for. They offer fresh pies daily and also have a selection of frozen ones for a reduced price. They are extremely accommodating and friendly. Also sell farm fresh eggs!

Okay so I got the lemon chiffon pie and at first I was like … hmm okay it’s alright, but this thing is huge and it’s gonna sit in the fridge for a week before we can eat it all. Yes I ate a piece basically every day and it got better every. Dang. Day. Better than any pie I ever had I swear. So good.

LOVE this bakery! Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing pies -- highly recommend the chocolate /cream pie and the lemon. Seasonal - pumpkin for Thanksgivng was better than mine ! Breads are delicious and freeze very well. Black Current Millet is a family fav. Usually buy 5 loaves (at least) to freeze. Farm fresh eggs, muffins and delish cookies as well as Summerland Sweets (jams, jellies, syrups also available on location. Call ahead, place orders for those out of town as it's a very popular bakery during the Farmer's Market season/Saturdays. A Rupertite fan ;)
