Loved this piece of history. They have a 1902 and 1908 Sears Roebuck Catalouges....amazing piece of history. Go, you will be glad you did.

A perfect little off-beat museum that captures the flavor of this wonderful little town. Admission is free. And if Gloria is there, ask her some questions. She is a wealth of information!

Shopping mall
Downtown Stuart is a delightful neighborhood that embodies the essence of Old Florida charm, featuring a vibrant waterfront district that draws both locals and visitors alike. This quaint area offers an inviting small-town vibe with easy access to the picturesque St. Lucie River, where you can indulge in delicious dining options and lively entertainment. A popular evening activity includes enjoying dinner followed by a show at the historic Lyric Theater, which has been captivating audiences since 1925.
Typical beach town with quite a few retail clothing stores. One very unique store “The Dirty Hippie” offered an array of art items, beautiful wood crafted furniture that was amazing. Definitely artsy and definitely a 5 star shop!

Went on a Thursday night around 8:30pm. Not much action or people but definitely a cute place to hang out. Lots of restaurants and shops, nice little boardwalk (mostly without guard/hand rails). Lots of parking. Probably very busy on the weekends.
Karen C — Google review
I wanted a getaway for the weekend and I choose Stuart with no such big expectations, but Wow , I was surprised of what I found !!! Please don't miss this place ,the Pier walk is so beautiful and relaxing! And there are a lot of restaurants, bars and points of interest that is worth to see . 100% recommended. Pet friendly

Beautiful and scenic town on the water. Many quaint shops and several galleries. Most do not open until 11am and close by 5. Others open early and later. Quite a few great dining options and an occasional farmers market.

We ordered a large house special pizza and it was loaded with meat and veggies with a crispy thin crust. Very good!

Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast

Mentioned on
8 lists
Museum
Children's amusement center
This contemporary museum designed for children offers interactive exhibits on nature, well-being, history, and recycling. The facility is adorable and cost-effective, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and organization. It is thoughtfully arranged to cater to older kids' educational needs while also providing a dedicated area for infants under one year old. Although slightly smaller than anticipated, it still managed to entertain a toddler who hadn't yet reached 2 1/2 years of age.
I LOVE this place. We always have a great time (we’ve been twice) - so much to do and explore while learning. It’s a great place for families. I definitely prefer going on the weekday since it’s not as crowded as the weekends. The staff is friendly. They have a sensory area to decompress as well as earmuffs that they clean before putting them up for another child to use. Highly recommend this place ❤️
Ja A — Google review
My 6 and 4 years old enjoyed the time there. They are going through remodeling in the outside area. The entrance felt a little crowded, not sure if it is always like that or it is part of the remodeling.
Alicia G — Google review
Tip: bring a warm sweater, it's colder than a hospital. Kids love it here. Many jobs they can pretend to be , lots of things to do. Even a quiet space for kids(or adults). They offer many events too. They're expanding which is exciting. Location is great. We can hit the splash pad, or the little beach with calm water, or take a stroll on the many paths. Kids dont notice or care but from my perspective there are several things needing repair or replacement which I think will happen.
Miss V — Google review
I brought my one and two year olds. They especially loved the baby section! Each exhibit was so well designed to help children learn by play and I couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! We also very much enjoyed the fire truck station as well as the vet clinic area. My little guy was too nervous to check out the pirate ship, but we will absolutely be back several more times and will hopefully get to check that out sometime too!
Des D — Google review
My children enjoy the museum but a few staff members are not friendly, including the CEO. We (me, my friends and 9 kids) were treated very poorly, we were chased around the whole time as if we were targeted. While we were at the baby area, my 3 year old daughter was briefly standing on a small tube that they have in there, nothing dangerous, but I understand that’s not the right way to use that tube and I was trying to keep an eye on my other kids as well, so I wasn’t letting her on top of it intentionally. We were told right there and then by the CEO that because of that she was going to ask us to leave, really?? If you were that concerned, you could have just suggested to pick a different area to explore instead of straight saying what you said. After that encounter me and my friend decided to leave and I complained at the front desk. The CEO came outside after I complained and had the audacity to tell a mama of 3, that I wasn’t parenting because of those brief moments I mentioned above. How can a stranger say that to a mama without having any idea who I am?! Supposedly that comment comes from a good place to keep the kids safe and according to this lady the best way to do that is to attack the mama’s character. However, we did make peace at the end and I even encouraged a handshake because I don’t like to have any conflicts with anyone, including her, but I want her to know publicly that that’s the most offensive and hurtful comment you can make to a mama. And you don’t get to do that to anyone. I chose to forgive you and I chose to not be angry at you anymore. Your words don’t have any weight on me because I know all I do for my kids day and night. But I hope you never get to say those words to anyone else.
M M — Google review
Very disappointed! My first time going and the guy working was definitely taking his security job very seriously and if he wasn’t a security there he needs to be fired. I was watching my older child but also in the new baby area with my baby had a friend with us who also had a baby we were the only ones there and constantly he was like your kids can do this, your kids can’t do that, I mean I get it if my child was being disruptive or messy but they were not at all. It’s a children museum not an adult museum. Kids are just trying to be kids. You don’t need to hover over us there. I was just very uncomfortable the entire time. Definitely wasn’t worth a 50 min drive to go at all. Great place if some of the staff acted differently.
Sam C — Google review
We frequent children’s museums, and this one has some really neat exhibits! Wish the bike worked. I love the design blocks, just wish we could see the poster showing some of the design ideas. The two fishing boats are amazing, allowing different ages to interact with the exhibit best for them. The ship is just amazing. There is something for all the ages, and the interactions are well thought out. The grocery store is one of the best we have ever seen! Love the sensory resort. The car shop is really neat and super well done too.
Jessica B — Google review
If you are in the area you must stop by with your kids. Located in a lovely high-end neighborhood with beautiful trees. When you arrive to the museum there is plenty of parking available and you will be greeted by a lot of ducks and birds by a lake. The kids had the best time. I do not live in the area but always drive up to our beach home in Vero beach this location was perfect to go to on the way up. Everytime we go to the area I will take the kids here as the first stop.

Water & Amusement Parks
If you're looking for a splash-tastic adventure beyond the usual beach day, Sailfish Splash Waterpark is the perfect destination! Nestled in Stuart, Florida, this vibrant aquatic center spans two acres and offers an array of thrilling attractions suitable for all ages. Dive into fun with its impressive 1,000-foot lazy river or take on the excitement of two towering water slides that promise heart-pounding thrills.
What a blast! Free parking. Food on site. Restrooms and showers are available. Shaded lounge chairs for free on a first come, first available. Private cabanas. Prices were around $19 per adults and $17 for kids. Follow me on Instagram as @divine.southflorida for things to so in South Florida.

Our family recommends Sailfish Splash to all our friends as a great summer outing, especially after our most recent visit! Every year, we travel hours to rent a certain cabana (GREAT deal, definitely worth it!) and spend the day at Sailfish Splash with our 3 boys. Unfortunately, our 2024 trip was a rough experience, but thankfully, I emailed customer service right away. I was pleasantly surprised that the Aquatic Manager, Emily, replied that they would host our day on them next time. An entire year later, this year, we were planning our trip, and I remembered to follow up on that email, not really expecting a reply. I was extremely grateful to indeed receive a response from Emily, just inviting me to pick our date to come and she'd take care of the rest! Our trip ended up being as smooth as it possibly could have been. Landon, our cabana host, was especially attentive to our family, and made sure we had everything we needed. **Any company that acknowledges their mistakes, take a loss, AND honors their word a YEAR LATER deserves a SHOUT OUT!!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ just for making up for last year! I wouldn't generally give Sailfish Splash 5 stars (it'd probably be a 4) because the food options are definitely too limited for the prices, and they don't allow outside food/drinks. Major bummer there, BUT the lazy river is a busy mom's dream, the splash pad area is plenty entertaining enough for the kids, and the slides are a fun experience as well! Cabana rentals are great; it really gives us the opportunity to enjoy our time and have a more intimate family experience, while having a host to help ensure a relaxing day. The staff in general has been outstanding and that in itself is hard to find. We are already looking forward to next summer for year 5!

What a great local water park. Big enough for the kids to run around but not so big they will get lost. Both of my littles felt very independent and had an amazing time. So did I. The lazy river is pretty funny because it seems the pressure changes so some times we went really slow and other times it just swept us up lol overall great experience and will definitely be going again.
Dylcia M — Google review
We had a birthday party here last year and loved it so much that we decided to come back again this year. Most of the experience went smoothly, and the staff was friendly throughout the day. However, we had a very disappointing experience with the pizza and kitchen service this time around. We ordered pizza and were told it would take 30 minutes. After waiting, we were informed the oven was burning pizzas and it would be another 20 minutes. We waited an additional 30 minutes, only to see another customer walk out with eight pizzas—while we still had none. When we followed up, we were told it would be another 20 minutes. At that point, we asked for a refund. Shockingly, the manager walked right past us and into the office without saying a word. We also spoke with other guests who had similar issues—one man said he waited over two hours and never received his pizza, and another woman said she ordered three pizzas but only received one because the other two were burned. To make things worse, we asked for a pitcher of soda and were told they couldn’t provide one—yet we watched them bring six pitchers to another party shortly after. The staff did refund the pizza and gave us ice cream vouchers, but when we went to redeem them, we were met with attitude. Sadly, we won’t be returning next year. I strongly recommend that you do not order pizza here, and we’ll be choosing a different water park for our next celebration.

Came in about 11AM on a Sunday. It was a fun day in the water! No available seats in the shade so we dragged chairs around and made our own space! Lots of inter-tubes deflated but we got what we needed. Concessions leaves a lot to be desired. Not a long line but super slow. With five or six people ahead of us, it took almost 30 minutes to get a simple tender combo… fairly expensive too.
Joseph A — Google review
I think it’s a great place to bring your kid and enjoy some time in a pool setting and with some entertainment. It’s not as big as I’d hope if you have older kids. I think their target audience is younger kids which is fine. The concession stand needs to be trained better the teenagers are clueless. They also had no straws or lids which was annoying. But other then that I’d be back so my son can enjoy.
Nathalie R — Google review
My 3 year old had a blast went around opening . Didn’t get food because the lines were long . Waited about 10 minutes to buy the tickets as the front window was closed and routed to the gift shop . My only complaint would be there was one cashier and a gift shop, but there was multiple people in the back talking and laughing not doing anything which doesn’t make sense to me. Besides that everything was great.
Marie H — Google review
We brought our infant son here and had a wonderful time! We were able to get a spot under a pavilion near the large water slides and spend the day there. The splash area was perfect for smaller kids and even our infant had a great time. The adult slides were never crowded and were tons of fun too. The lazy river was relaxing and definitely a welcomed part of the park. There are lots of splash areas around, but this is the only one with a lazy river. There is a food station and the food is good and reasonable priced. My husband and I shared a 6-piece tenders meal with fries and a soda for $10.00. The lifeguards are very vigilant and the place was constantly being sanitized. The price of $15.00 per person was definitely justified. We will definitely recommend this place and be coming back ourselves!

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Stuart on Main Street, the Lyric Theatre is a beloved gem that has been captivating audiences since its inception in 1926 as a silent movie house. This charming venue has evolved over the years, hosting an array of performances, concerts, and film screenings. Its intimate atmosphere enhances every event, making it a perfect spot for enjoying live entertainment.
Wonderful small intimate venue. Saw Martin Barre there, from Jethro Tull. Went to the meet and greet. As I said small intimate venue and Mr Barre was right in the middle of approximately 20 of us. He could not have been more gracious, and giving of his time and sharedmany stories throughout his life This review is about the theater. Let me get back to that Really nice comfortable, Good sight lines, good audio system. The audio system was not distorted, nor too bright nor shrill I recommend going to see any musical act at the lyric theater

Attend many events at this theater in Stuart it's beautiful and very intimate presentations and shows because of the small environment the most recent was Wizard of Oz and in the holiday season one of the best shows is The Nutcracker ballet. Add to your list and enjoy 😉 ✨️

We had a great night with the Artimus Pyle band at the Lyric! The venue is small and intimate, great acoustics and I dont think there is a bad seat in the house!
Tiffany O — Google review
Wonderful, intimate historic theater. Saw PPL on their 50th anniversary tour. Not a bad seat in the house.
Brian J — Google review
The Lyric Theater is a true gem! This venue perfectly blends historic charm with a welcome level of modern maintenance. Unlike many older theaters, it felt spotlessly clean and fresh, with absolutely no mustiness—they’ve done a fantastic job preserving the magic while keeping the venue comfortable. We sat in the balcony and the sightlines were perfect, proving there truly isn't a bad seat in the house. Highly recommend for an elegant and memorable experience!
Sue I — Google review
Beautiful, nice and smallish venue in a super cool town. Cash bar with great selection. Always so many wonderful shows to choose to see or hear. VERY reasonable ticket prices. We got to hear The Weight Band. Two original members of The Band on the stage. Incredible pianist, organist, squeezebox player, bassist, drummer, guitarist. Madly in love the venue and The Weight Band. Cannot wait to see the Skatalites.
Martee H — Google review
Went to see a show, artimus Pyle and the experience in that cute little theater was great!

Saw Broadway with Heart last night. Worst show I’ve ever seen. This husband and wife team destroyed the beautiful Broadway songs I loved. A lot of the audience left after the first hour. I was sorry I stuck it out. 11/13/2025

American restaurant
The Gafford is a sophisticated bistro in Stuart, Florida that offers high-end American cuisine with a touch of Southern flair. The warm and inviting setting provides a casual vibe, making it a local favorite for fine dining. The menu features a blend of coastal favorites and Southern staples, including creamy Lobster Bisque and classic Shrimp and Grits. With its range of seafood selections and cozy atmosphere, The Gafford provides an opportunity to enjoy upscale dining without the stuffy atmosphere.
Reservations last night honoring our oldest son's birthday. Busy evening. The kitchen was hopping next to our table of four. Abby knew of the birthday and added her humor to the evening and could not have provided more attention to our comfort. Four unique entrees. All exceptional. The seven layer carrot cake and coffee were the perfect end to the evening.
James C — Google review
Came here on a date night. The reviews are mixed, but I have to say the food, the service, and the atmosphere were outstanding. We both elected to have the specials of the night. Different specials. I ended my night with Carrot cake. Abby is a stellar server! Everything was prompt, well presented, and the staff go beyond the norm. Will definitely patron here again.
Emily H — Google review
I stopped off at a Local Restaurant in downtown Stuart. The Gafford, a family-owned restaurant in Stuart, Florida, opened on October 21, 2023. The restaurant took 17 months to renovate, which was 13 months longer and $2 million more than originally planned. The Gafford is in the Martin Downs Village Center and occupies three spaces, including the Palm City Chamber of Commerce. The restaurant has 151 seats and an outdoor dining patio with 80 seats. I started with a glass of freshly brewed Sweet Iced Tea. Look at how beautifully dark and rich the flavor of that tea was awesome. It hit the spot for me. My server Abigail was prompt and super friendly. She was on top of her A game tonight covering a lot of tables and didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Gafford. Look it up on the main menu. This is a 20 full ounce bone in Ribeye. It came with a homemade from scratch Mac & Cheese and Green Beans. NOW, they change up the Mac & Cheese from time to time and tonight I got a spicy one. (Now to be fair here I'm not one for very spicy food. So, to be fair on my scale from 1-10 this was a 7-8. But for a person who normally eats spicy stuff I'm going to guess around a 2-3ish.) So, as you can see, I couldn't finish it. TOO HOT for me. But the flavor was very good. The meat was cooked to Medium, and it was right on the money. Thanks to Chef Taylor and his talented crew. The unsung heroes of this fine establishment as well. I also know that everyone's preferences are different when it comes to Steak tenderness. I like my Ribeye firm not mushy overly tenderized. This was nice and firm, not chewy in my book. To me it was perfect. As you can see in the photos that I took the meat was a nice light pink in the middle perfect Medium for me. I hope you all enjoy the photos and the short video to kind of give you a feel for The Gafford. I give this place 10 out of 5 stars! Plan to come down here and visit this family-owned business.
Keith G — Google review
Great location in safe part of town with decent parking. The restaurant is clean and well maintained bathrooms. The staff was friendly and nicely dressed. Our waiter was attentive, polite, respectful and very helpful. The menu is small which I personally like and you don't get overwhelmed with options. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The only negatives were some of the other staff kept messing with the lights, low to medium and vice versa, it was enough to be distracting. The menu while small is on the pricer side. Overall this restaurant is outstanding, and definitely worth a visit, highly recommended!!
Kent C — Google review
Hands down the best restaurant in Martin county. There is nowhere else that evens come close. They have the freshest ingredients and the best food. Everything is very reasonably priced which makes it that much better.
John D — Google review
Love this place. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Short ribs are amazing and the wine list has some great wines by the glass. The cocktails are unique and well made. This place is a must if you are in Stuart.
Keith M — Google review
Lauren was AMAZING one of the best waitresses I have come I contact with in all of my years. The food was great as well, we had the duck wings to start that had Thai chili sauce on them and hit every taste bud. I had the Gafford for dinner - bone in rib-eye with Mac and cheese and veggies - incredible. My fiancé had the meatloaf also very good but a little toooooo much flavor for my pallet but full of flavor and a huge portion of food for both. You will not starve at this restaurant! No mater what you get I’m sure it will satisfy all of your tastebuds.
Taylor R — Google review
Wow finally got to stop here for dinner. I had a reservation for 7 (family). We had salads appetizers and dinner. Everything was terrific. I had Scallops but I have to say Mabels fried ch8cken was the star. See the photos for all the meals

The restaurant provides both sit-down dining at Tradition Square and casual a la carte feasting along the scenic Riverwalk, accommodating various preferences.
Great experience here. Outdoors seemed better as it’s a great people watching spot but we were seated indoors. The fresh catch of the day was delicious mahi. Very attentive staff. My favorite place to eat in the area.
Lucia D — Google review
Never in my life have I had such an exceptionally amazing meal. There is no contest that the food we had here was unequivocally the best I've ever consumed; utterly unparalleled. The appetizer of Scallops with caviar on top and a truffle slice was the best version of scallop preparation I've ever had. It started the meal off with a high bar that only continued to get better. I enjoyed an entrée of Coconut Crusted Hogfish in a Cashew Curry sauce that was beyond any ability to express how delectable it was. Every single bite was worth raving about; my taste buds never got used to how outrageously excellent the flavor was. Never before have I been so amazed at the flavors of each and every mouth-watering bite! My husband had the Roasted Maple Leaf Duck which he said was the best duck he's ever had. This was a better anniversary dinner than I could have fathomed (never before have we spoken so little out to eat because it did was so delicious). I cannot rave about this place enough and I look forward to the opportunity to return again for more!!

Frank took excellent care of us throughout the evening! He was professional and friendly! We are locals since 2014 and this was our first time dining here! Absolutely loved it! Beca took our reservation over the phone. So sweet and friendly. Michelle was our greeter when we arrived she was friendly and attentive to us. We had perused the menu prior to our arrival and enjoyed each course. I began with a delightful glass f Sancerre French Sauvignon Blanc, we then shared Oysters Rockafeder, a bowl of crab & shrimp tortilla soup, apple walnut salad, crab cakes is what my husband ordered and I enjoyed the coconut Crusted Hoggish! Everything was delicious! We will definitely return! The menus selection all inviting! 👍👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Five stars truly isn’t enough for this place! This was mine and my boyfriend’s first time visiting Stuart and unfortunately (but fortunately, in the end) we didn’t find this gem until our last day! We had the absolute best meal of our trip. The atmosphere is so lovely and cozy. The entire wait staff was so kind and attentive. Every dish we got was a must try; the pull apart bread, crab cakes, maple vinegarette salad, honey bourbon filet special and the coconut curry fresh catch. We will absolutely be making this place a staple on our next trip.

Megan the bartender is fantastic. The food is always good. The burger is pretty decent but id skip getting it with gorgonzola. It's a tad on the small side so be aware. The seasonal soup they had was amazing this week. The drinks are solid and its a decent happy hour.

Brunch too! Wowza! The pictures tell the story. Just go and thank yourself after. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Even the coffee was on point. Okay okay. We didn’t know what to order because we wanted it all so each of us got what all of us wanted as we usually do. Lol and Holy Buckets, Batman! It was 10/10!!! I just cannot get over how yummy and savory each bite was.
Anne R — Google review
Love the food! Had the filthy oysters and scallops- absolutely amazing and delicious! Unfortunately our server and us did not click- which was a bummer. Although coming here every week for the last several weeks- need to take a break. If spending money for enjoyable outing- need to ensure all aspects on point.
Jan H — Google review
Service was great and the chef accommodated my seafood allergy by specially preparing the veal dish. The veal was tender but a bit flavorless. We sat inside since rain was coming. The table next to us was 12" away but was the only open table. The salad that came with the veal was delicious! Appetizer pear purses was also fabulous. My friend and I split one appetizer and the veal dish and after the upcharge for splitting to get extra salad, total bill including 20% tip was $90. (We each drank water). It was plenty of food and we left full.

Market on Main downtown Stuart, also known as the Stuart Green Market, is a beloved local institution that has been running since the early 1990s. Held weekly at Flagler Park, it offers a vibrant atmosphere with live music and entertainment. Visitors can explore a wide array of vendors selling artisan goods, fresh flowers, baked treats, fruits and veggies. The market also features an impressive selection of food vendors offering delicious bites to eat.
I love the diversity of the Market on Main! They have the best Green Juice Product Ever! There’s this place called That Green Juice that sells frozen, sometimes thawed out if requested Bottled Green Juice smoothie that’s so amazingly health for the body that I use it everyday and I get a renewed week supply every Sunday. Owners name is Moses and the rest of the staff is very helpful and supportive.

We go to this great little farmer's market often. There are a lot of vendors, a selection of items, and different foods to select from. We enjoy the free music, people watching, snacking, having a cold smoothie, and when allowed, petting dogs! While some items can be a little pricey, it's a great little venue to visit and support the locals!

The best vendors, they have plants, soaps, elderberry juices, fresh produce, jewelry, and pupper treats! Great place to walk around with the family or bring your pet. They also have food stands if you want a snack while you’re walking around shopping. Great place to get Christmas and birthday presents. Weekend must do
Taylor R — Google review
OMG loved it. Was all different vendors from crafts to food. I really enjoyed myself, you could sit at a covered table if you wanted to rest. Best of all bathrooms not Porta potty.

Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center

Nature & Parks
Aquarium
The Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center is a 57-acre research and educational site featuring a network of nature trails, a lagoon, and saltwater tanks. Visitors can explore the building's interactive games, learn about Florida's water and animals in the museum, and take advantage of restrooms on-site. The attraction offers a chance to feed stingrays and invertebrates while observing large saltwater turtles and fish up close. Admission prices are $8 for children and $16 for adults.
Last week we went to the Florida Oceanographic Center during our stay on Hutchinson island. It obviously is extremely hot outside this time of year so I recommend bringing water and sunscreen. There are some AC and shady areas to cool down but a good portion is outside. We loved the indoor area that was an aquarium inside with tons of cool fish in it. Highly recommend spending some time visiting.
Rocky 2 — Google review
It was neat, but with how much it costs compared to the other things in the area I expected a bit more. The mosquitos there are super terrible. I feel they should just hand out bug spray for free. My kid got eaten alive just walking around the sting ray and where they feed the fish. The gift shop was decently priced. A boys hat fell in the lagoon and the employees did a great job of safely removing it.
Kalla M — Google review
A wonderful facility! The talks were informative and accessible, and the employees giving them were both knowledgeable and passionate. We walked away with lots of useful information, including how we can make a difference in our own lives when it comes to conservation! The animas seemed well cared for, with many of them being here due to an inability to be released back into the wild rather than just being here “for show.” Would highly recommend a visit!
Becki W — Google review
We love this place its so nice here. There is tons of wild life exhibits. Tons of stuff for kids and adults. The staff are great. You can spend all day here easily. So much fun. Highly recommend for a family outing 👌 👏

We greatly enjoyed our afternoon here! We saw the big game feeding demonstration, did the interactive sea critter and sting ray touch exhibits, and walked around the inside area as well. Well worth the price of admission! The only thing we didn’t do was the walking trail. It was very muggy and mosquito filled due to recent rain. Shout out to Jasmin at the sea critter touch tank as well as the sting ray area!! She was very knowledgable and funny :)
Kristen F — Google review
The staff is fantastic, they truly are friendly & informative. The place itself however, has little to offer. You can view it all in about an hour or less. You can walk the mangroves & be led to the inlet 🫤 which isn't beautiful obviously. Kids can touch some sea life & view a couple of things indoors away from heat. Other than that, it's just okay to visit.

We had a time to look around and stop by the marine life center . This place is very good for kids. My son love string ray . They have sensory area : String ray , crabs and etc . Highly recommend!

A great educational experience for children and adults. Colorful oceanographic displays, stingray touch tanks, aquatic aquariums and live interactive instructors teaching about sea turtles and sea life, there is a lagoon with fish, stingrays and nurse sharks. Well worth spending a few hours here.

Great experience here. Outdoors seemed better as it’s a great people watching spot but we were seated indoors. The fresh catch of the day was delicious mahi. Very attentive staff. My favorite place to eat in the area.

Hands down the best restaurant in Martin county. There is nowhere else that evens come close. They have the freshest ingredients and the best food. Everything is very reasonably priced which makes it that much better.

Love this place. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Short ribs are amazing and the wine list has some great wines by the glass. The cocktails are unique and well made. This place is a must if you are in Stuart.

This was a random date night and it ended up being such an amazing experience. Our server was great, very attentive, answered all our questions. I wish I got her name, she was a blonde working 8/16 :) And the food. Was. Amazing. Genuinely some of the best pasta I have had in a while! The atmosphere is also very chill and perfect for a cozy date night. We will absolutely be coming back for more dates in the future 💗

Absolutely wonderful food. The escargot was totally different than I was used to but magnificent. My fish was light and perfect! The asparagus was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband's pasta dish was like crack, it was so dangerously good. I can't believe I have lived in Stuart for so long and haven't been here before! Will definitely come back!

We went here for our anniversary dinner and were very glad with all of our choices. The Carribean Conch Cakes were excellent and the drizzled sauce is a recipe I wish I could get my hands on. The Sautéed Sea Scallops were perfect; I can't imagine them being better. The corn salsa and rice paired wonderfully and were a refreshing match. As excellent as everything else was, the Snapper Assiago may have been the best thing on the menu with a very creamy and savory mashed potatoes and a light cheese coating for the fresh snapper. This place was the best choice for our anniversary celebration.

One of my favorite spots in downtown Stuart. The menu offers lots of choices sure to please anyone in your crowd. Weekly specials, consistent food, and a casual atmosphere keeps us coming back. Prices are reasonable, too. The only downfall: service is hit or miss. Renee is wonderful and most others servers are great too. Sadly there is one bartender who is super unfriendly and it ruins it every time we end up with her. I’ve rarely encountered anyone in the service trade with such a rotten attitude and unfriendly manner. She should consider a career change. There is a younger lady that bartends sometimes and she is super friendly and helpful. I wish she was always behind the bar.

This quaint little restaurant & bar located in historical downtown Stuart offers comfortable booths, tall table top seating and a sit down bar. The customer service was above expectations. Our server, John, was friendly, courteous and on point. A great variety of cocktails, wines and beers are available. The food was excellent, high prices but worth it. We started with bruschetta which was beyond expectations. I enjoyed the stuffed shrimp which was superb. The shrimps were juicy and firm and stuffed with crab. The dish included rice du jour. For dessert we enjoyed a nice slice a key lime pie which had a nice crunchy graham cracker crust, and tangy meringue. A great place for a special date night or occasion.
Torch R — Google review
Had dinner at the Black Marlin. Cool spot, nice vibe the server was attentive. There were 4 of us and 3 of us had the black grouper. It was over cooked to the point of being rubbery and tough and I barely could get a fork through it. I will give it another try because maybe they just had a rough night but to overcook 3 servings of black grouper is no bueno!

They serve the best cappuccino in the area, not to mention the avocado toast. However, the most outstanding aspect of my experience was the service. The staff is incredible and always strives to ensure that customers have a great time. I would like to highlight the young man who served me, Tacket S. He was excellent—very respectful, with a great attitude and a wonderful sense of humor. He truly brightened my day. Thank you so much!

Great little cafe to stop at when visiting downtown Stuart. Good coffee and great food. The bagels and bakery items are to die for. Special are.always good. Gluten free options, vegan options. The chefs are quick and capable. Staff are friendly and hardworking. The place is charming and small. There are indoor and outdoor tables, as well as bar seating. I wish there weren't tvs in here - kind of ruins the vibe and discourages social interaction in a world where we are all glued to screens most of the time anyway.. But love this place regardless.

The options were ALL looking exceedingly tempting (and I didn't walk in hungry). I enjoyed the soup special and the sandwich special very much. I look forward to returning to try the dozens of other options that made deciding difficult.

Found this little gem on my Friday morning breakfast escapade. Food and service was great! My summer bowl breakfast was healthy and delicious. The super nova sandwich was 🔥. Absolutely love the self serve coffee station! I tried organic coffee for the first time and it was excellent. Aside from the food being great. Two things stood out to me. First, the fresh roses each table had just made my morning a little brighter. I felt like I was being gifted flowers personally! Second the wall decoration had local youth artist painting for sale, that just made my mama heart so happy! The support to those young kids is incredible. Overall an awesome breakfast spot. And if you have some free time and walk a block away you’re greeting with fresh ocean breeze! Love this place!

This place is UTTER PERFECTION! From the cute little shop at the front with artisanal goods and farm fresh foods, to the quality of the food, and the cozy ambiance of the place, you cannot go wrong here. My husband and I are from Miami and we are always on the hunt for high-quality restaurants, and Colab truly exceeded expectations. We loved it so much we came both on our travels up and back home. We enjoyed their bowls, the blackened shrimp and grits, and the desserts are too die for!!! There may be different specials when you go, but we fell in love with the biscoff cookie pie. Probably my favorite dessert I've ever tried (and I'm not even a pie person!). Additionally, service here is exceptional! They are all so sweet and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and come eat here!

We had such a great experience at COLAB Kitchen in Stuart! The atmosphere here is just awesome — relaxed, creative, and full of local charm. I loved my Lobster Rangoon (so good!), and my business partners all raved about their dishes — the Crab Maison, Onion Smashburger, and one of COLAB’s famous flatbreads. Between the fresh flavors and their market filled with locally sourced products, this place is a real gem on the Treasure Coast. Definitely worth a visit if you love supporting local and enjoying great food in a fun setting!

Amazing food and service. The house made Virgin Mary had an unexpected dill twist that somehow just works. The lobster avocado toast also has this unusual pop of dill, but again, the synergy of the ingredients couldn't be more perfect. We also had the chilaquiles, which were subtly seasoned but also excellent. Finally, the fried green tomato appetizer elevated humble farm fare to food worth planning a trip just to sample. Zach, our server was friendly, prompt, and helpful in explaining the menu and answering questions. Also, he jumped right in when I knocked over a glass of water without so much as a raised eyebrow. Oh, and got me the ingredients for the house pickled red onion that is grilled and served on the lobster avocado toast.

Wow! Walking up to the restaurant, was absolutely beautiful! All of the wonderful greenery/ flowers is definitely what made the ambiance of this place ! As we sat outside, it was quite pleasant and peaceful. My daughter, who is 11 by the way, got the Duck, I ordered the Braised Short ribs and a friend decided on the Pan Fried Conch. When the server came out with these gorgeous, designed plates made with such intricate decoration, I was in awe! Not even to mention the taste, was even better then the look ! The one thing needed to know about this plate is that the Conch has a Heavy Basalmic drizzle!!! BUT with the pairing fruit salsa-like dip, is was a delightful flavor! Will definitely be back to try more meals! Thank you !

My husband & I had our 10 year anniversary dinner here tonight & it was PERFECT. The staff was amazing - attentive, super nice & very personable (Susan & Martha). The atmosphere was SO cozy, warm, eclectic, intimate - literally perfect. The food presentation was top notch - so beautiful! The quality of the food was incredible, as was the attention to detail. My husband had the elk & I had the short rib. They were out of the chocolate torte we were hoping to try BUT their recommendation of the coconut cake was absolutely incredible. Hands down one of the best desserts we've ever had. The restaurant itself is breathtaking, yet simple. They knew it was our anniversary & sat us in a private front room with a gorgeous view of the outside gardens. The front of the restaurant is hidden behind beautiful flowers and the bougainvillea is a perfect photo op! Oh and they even printed special "Happy 10th Anniversary" menus for us! This place is a hidden gem! After our meal we walked around and every table is cute & cozy in it's own way. Just a beautiful place!

The most romantic restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. My husband and I went for our 14th wedding anniversary and sat outside in a little private table enveloped in plants and little lanterns. The menus were personalized for our anniversary! How cute is that?? Susan was our server and she was wonderful, very attentive but gave us privacy. The whole experience was just incredible. I had the tuna and omg, I have no words. My husband had the short ribs and absolutely devoured them. Also, it was the only time in my life I’ve taken a picture of my plate at a restaurant. The presentation was reminiscent of a Michelin star restaurant. The wine list was solid and the prices for the wine were surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. I was told that the owner really just wants people to try good wine lol. The peanut butter pie was the perfect ending to the meal. Will 100% be back. Everything about this place is perfect and I’m so happy we found it, just sad that we’ve missed out for so long.

The carrots were elevated to a league of their own. They had the best onion rings I have ever had(just try them and you will see what I mean) Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations & we will absolutely be back. OMG! We love this place! The food was exceptional! The atmosphere wonderful and the service fantastic! I wish I could remember our servers name but she was excellent! We sat outside which was lovely with nice music I had the roasted beet salad delish! The others in our party of 9 had hogfish franchise, stuffed snapper, braised short ribs and the salmon. All absolutely amazing! Large portions as well. Moderately Priced and Well worth the money! I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try you will be glad you did! From what I hear they have a great happy hour also!

Not worth what we paid for. Bread was hard, the risotto was dry, was more like pre cooked yellow rice, the asparagus was bland. We used to love this place, no idea what happened. Staff was excellent. Food was not, the short rib ravioli appetizer had to much gorgonzola cheese, it overtook the flavor of the short Rib. Not impressed. The $400 we paid was not worth it.

The service here is always very good. The food comes out at a reasonable speed and is always very hot. We had the escargot and bread to start. The escargot was well seasoned and probably one of the best I've had. The bread was just bread not sure if it's local but it's was good as an add on. We also ordered the mushroom fettuccine. The plates came out extremely hot, honestly to hit to even adjust a little bit. It also didn't allow the sauce to thicken up at first which seemed to not allow the truffle oil sauce to come together until after it had cooled a bit. But once it did the food was very good.

I have passed the Talk House 100 times with no interest. But a retirement party got me there and I have to say- I was wrong! The food is excellent although a bit pricey; the waitresses are amazing- April, Tammy and Christine at the door- so helpful and friendly! Great bar selection of single-malt scotch and bourbons (I am sure others too), and the bartenders were top-notch. Cons: beer is flat- when you see waitresses using barstraws to stir the beer to get it to fizz- not exactly "fresh." Space: It is tight in the main bar area- but very manageable!

Hidden gem. And we found it. Staff were attentive and friendly. Apps were tasty and dinners were top notch. Tasty and yummy. One of the best burgers options with great flavor that I’ve found in Martin county so far.
Lorena C — Google review
This was our initial visit to the Talk House. They have an outdoor patio where we enjoy cocktails and appetizers. We then proceeded inside for dinner. The service was good. The food was of high quality and flavor. Parking was readily available at the time of our visit, but it may become congested during peak hours.

Jennifer our waitress was absolutely awesome unbelievable very professional courteous and knowledgeable! Food was absolutely delicious! The escargot appetizer was delicious!
Dan M — Google review
We always come here for the appetizers, especially the escargot; it's scrumptious! The only thing I don't care for is, like many restaurants, several items are served with an odd number, ie, 3 coconut shrimp, etc. Go during happy hour, otherwise, prices are a bit steep if you're on a budget.

Restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque St. Lucie River, Sailor's Return is a vibrant waterfront restaurant that captures the essence of tropical dining. With its airy blue-and-tan decor adorned with nautical touches and comfortable wicker seating, this lively spot invites guests to indulge in fresh seafood while soaking up stunning marina views. The atmosphere is both casual and elegant, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a unique culinary experience.
Sailor's Return helped us to host our Rehearsal Dinner at the end of March. The management was beyond helpful and attentive to detail in coordinating all the details leading up to the event and the serving staff on the day of the event was tremendous! We dined from their catering menu options and had more than enough options to choose from to build a delicious meal with plenty of selections for our 50+ party. Every single member of the staff that served and communicated with our guests left each of us feeling cared for and beyond satisfied! The food was phenomenal, facilities were immaculate, ambiance amazing, and service was prompt and spectacular. We cannot say thank you enough for helping us celebrate!

Defo recommend making some reservations, and also using the Valet. We sat on the outside deck in August, so weather was a bit humid but still nice. So much fun to enjoy an amazing meal and drinks and watch the boats. The service was great, thanks to our server for being so courteous!

The food was magnificent! Service was outstanding & the atmosphere totally relaxing. We were there for a large family event. Perfect from beginning to end. Excellent experience. First time visiting. I will hopefully be back!

🌅 Amazing place with a beautiful bay view! We had lunch here and absolutely loved it - ordered calamari and a beet salad, both were incredibly fresh and delicious. The sangria was also amazing - light, refreshing, and perfect for the atmosphere. The view over the water is stunning, and the vibe is cozy and relaxing. We’ll definitely be back! 💙✨

This is one of our favorite restaurants when we are in town & my friend’s favorite spot that lives here. The seafood selection never disappoints. My husband & I were both so happy that they still had our favorite dishes from last time. Mine is the Pineapple Snapper with coconut rice and pineapple rum sauce, talk about exceeding my Caribbean taste buds. I don’t know what it is about their Shrimp Alfredo but my husband talked about this dish a-lot the last time we were here a few years back so he kept saying he really hopes they still have this here which they did and he still enjoyed it. Our friends both ordered from the Summer Pre Fixed Menu that comes with an appetizer, entree & desert. One ordered the Grilled Salmon Piccata & the other got the Short Rib & Shrimp. We love dining outside on the covered patio while enjoying the cool breeze and views from the harbour. Taking pictures by the dock is always a must! Especially during sunset. Glad to see our favorite FL restaurant is holding up to their good reputation.

Definitely recommend making reservations, and using the Valet. We sat on the outside deck in Feb, so weather was amazing. So fun to enjoy an amazing meal and drinks and watch the boats. The service was great, he definitely knew how to handle my FIL ;)

Our waiter and staff was amazing. The ambience was a beautiful view of the water and yachts. Don’t need to tell you the food was excellent. My ribeye was perfectly cooked . The place was Awesome.

4.7- it’s tough to give a 5 star rating; has to be top tier. This waterfront location is nice to enjoy a meal by the water. There are large umbrellas to shield from the sun without obscuring the view of the water and boats. The service is friendly and accommodating. The food is consistently delicious. I’ve tried the steak, salmon, chicken wings, roast beef sandwich. The steak was cooked to our liking medium rare. Seasoned nicely with the right amount of salt not causing us to reach for a glass of water. The baked potato was hot, soft on the inside and firm and slightly chewy skin. This meal with picture captured: The Caesar salad was not drenched in dressing and generous with the r Parmesan. Though it was slightly on the drier and bland side. I wouldn’t order it again but I recognize that finding an overall good Ceaser salad can be challenging. I enjoy fries. I prefer softer fries and these fries were dry and crispy; but they looked like they used fresher oil. They were a 3 stars in my book. Overall sandwich 4.0 but when you depict it, it gets lower with the process of ingredients. The roast beef sandwich was tasty- they were generous with the rare meat that could stand on its own. You can tell they used the romaine lettuce that was used in the Caesar salad. The wrap was good and the tomatoes were refrigerated so the tomatoes were just added without the juicy fresh tender taste that tomatoes should have. I could have done without the cheese because it the roast beef was good on its own. The horseradish dressing was on the side and it was mild that handed a nice compliment. This sandwich was good without or without the horse radish. The chicken wings in medium were mild. They were crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside. The wings were more dry and fried than I prefer- bit on the crispier side. Prefer just a bit crisp and juicy on the inside. But it was appreciated that they were hot on arrival. Mahi sandwich. This was a 4.9. The best item out of all the lunch items. Very good sandwich. The brioche bun was fresh and complimented the sandwich. The mahi was blackened. The fish was hot, tender and flaky; delicious. The topping of tomato and onion and pickle complimented the flavor. It didnt need the tartar sauce but I dipped it for a few bites. The tartar sauce was thick and creamy and mild in taste but a good compliment to the sandwich.

Deli
Nestled in the heart of downtown Stuart, Ellie's Downtown Deli & Catering is a charming eatery housed in a beautifully converted Victorian-style home. This delightful spot specializes in crafting mouthwatering sandwiches, subs, wrapitos, salads, and soups that highlight local ingredients from Florida's Treasure Coast. With daily meal specials and an inviting atmosphere perfect for lunch or a quick bite on the go, Ellie's ensures that every dish is fresh and flavorful.
I stopped by Ellie’s Deli because it seemed like a real NY style Deli. I got a create-your-own sandwich with a side of pasta salad—it was delicious! Everything was fresh, and the sandwich was made just the way I like it. The pasta salad was a great side, even a lil spicy which was different. The staff was friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What a Hidden Gem we found while in Stuart. We were looking for something different for lunch and we found this absolutely Perfect lunch spot. Just blocks away from downtown Stuart. The freshest soups made daily, something new everyday. The freshest sandwiches you will find, mix and create your own combos. The interior is just as perfect as the outside. I would Highly recommend stopping in for a lunch you won't regret.

Very tasty food and superb combinations even regarding sides. The outdoor area is a big appeal under the patio, umbrellas, or tree. The spicy tuna wrap was large in size and taste. The beets side is something I need to try to make on my own one day- great flavor blend. I can't wait for what other things I'll love off of their menu.

Hey! So I started back at a business that recently picked up lunch for its employees from Eli's. This is the first time I’ve ever tried anything from here and I got “The Monster.” It was ordered for me, I had no say in it, but suffice to say, this may be the best sandwich I have ever had. Not only was it stacked, I mean… I ate it for dinner and a midnight snack. I literally got to this order about 11 hours after the payment was placed and the bacon was crunchy, the lettuce was crisp, the meat tasted fresh. I love Jimmy John’s. That’s a normal order spot for me. 30 minutes after pickup that sandwich is gone in quality if you don’t eat it. Spend the same or even less a never cutting on quality, Ellie’s is worth everything you pay for. From a now forever customer. Thank you Ellie’s Andrew Fisk

Our Dr.’s Office had a team meeting today and it was followed by a delicious lunch from Ellie’s Deli! I had the BLT & potato salad, my coworker had the turkey and cucumber salad and they were both very good. Fresh and flavorful! I will definitely check them out on an off day where I can come in and scope out the other deli items. So happy to have found this cute place!

All I can say is well. Chef Mark catered my wife’s 50th birthday party today and we chose to have a taco bar. Everything was amazingly wonderful. The food was very tasty and extremely very fresh and hot right off and out of the oven. Everybody loved the taste of everything and it was so good. Wish I could leave more than five stars. I would highly recommend that if you ever need a party catered to use Chef Marc at Ellies downtown deli.

Restaurant
Dune Dog Cafe is a delightful, family-friendly eatery located in Stuart, Florida, perfect for those seeking a relaxed dining experience. With an extensive menu that caters to kids and adults alike, this charming spot specializes in seafood and hot dogs while also offering burgers and various handhelds. The outdoor seating area features a cozy tiki bar ambiance along with a mini golf putting green for the little ones to enjoy.
Stuart, FL. Great corn dog, said Steve, and I liked the black beans and rice. (We’re the Jack Sprat scenario in reverse.) Plus we had a fresh shrimp app and a salad. All were delicious. I’d have preferred house made ranch dressing but that’s not the case here. But the spicy orange sauce for the shrimp was house made, and good. The cocktail sauce was a little too sweet for my taste but Steve loved it. There are three distinct areas of this restaurant: the play area for little ones in front with outdoor seating; the indoor bar area; and the tiki bar vibe out back. Lots of space to party! Our server was fun and accommodating. We had a good time.

We sat outside. There was a nice breeze but they have fans too just in case. I had the Cajun shrimp skewer (not sure if that's exactly what it is called) it was so good. Friendly staff as well.

We love Dune Dog Cafe in Jupiter and have to check this one out when we find ourselves in Stuart. Food is so great and we love the beachy vibe. Sea dog (fish fingers in a bun) is such a great idea! We were there for a late lunch on a weekday so it was super chilled.

This was our 1st visit. We sat outside. Pretty cool and cozy atmosphere. The server we had was super friendly and attentive. Thank you! Anywhere we go for dinner we have to have the new England clam chowder and it was delicious here, creamy and loaded with clams. Very good, we will be back!

Super friendly staff. The outside female tiki bar tender is great. She makes an effort to get to know her customers (even by name! ..wish I could do the same!). The menu is surprising. I expected just hot dogs and burgers. They have a decent full menu including seafood.

Palm Beach International Airport offers a range of amenities, including a putting green, on-site spa, and children's play area. In West Palm Beach, visitors can explore the Norton Museum of Art with its impressive collection of over 8,200 paintings, sculptures, and artifacts from around the world. The area is also home to numerous artificial reefs for diving enthusiasts to explore. Additionally, West Palm Beach boasts a variety of pizza options and beautiful waterfront areas with scenic views of Lake Worth.
Travelled to West Palm Beach for a church related function and was able to get a straight flight from Nashville TN to PBI, I like those non stop flights. The facility was very busy but very efficient, I was impressed with the way the Southwest agents processed us thru and the TSA officials were pleasant, also. The facility was presentable and clean, the restrooms were very clean. There was adequate power outlets to charge your devices and the choices for food was endless. Ample choices for picking up any needed necessities and even my rental car process was without any difficulty. I have flown to Fort Lauderdale in the past but I will use PBI from this time forward, they did a great job!

Palm Beach International Airport is very clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the travel experience smooth and pleasant. The food options are also great, with tasty choices for every traveler. A comfortable and enjoyable airport overall

The airport was quaint; the amenities were good and functional. Many stores offered quick shopping options, and places to eat and drink were available. Its location is convenient to nearby cities like Lake Worth and Palm Beach. Security was efficient, and everything went smoothly. We came in from Boston Logan Airport there's a big difference in sizes of the airport but it didn't matter much
DraMatik G — Google review
Palm Beach International Airport is hands down my favorite airport in Florida. It’s an efficient and easy-to-navigate airport that never feels overwhelming. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole travel experience feel more relaxed. I’ve flown through here several times, and I’m always impressed by how short the lines are. Security moves quickly, and it never feels crowded or chaotic. The airport itself is clean, well-kept, and has a calm, almost laid-back vibe that’s rare in airports these days. The rental car centers are conveniently located nearby, with free shuttles provided for easy access. There’s also a cell phone waiting lot just five minutes away in the airport area, which makes picking up arriving passengers a breeze. PBI offers stress-free traveling and is truly among one of the best U.S. airports.
Lei B — Google review
I love traveling from this airport. It's not usually crowded and congested as others. The cops are always vigilant and keeps the traffic flowing. Since it's smaller the walk to your gate is not very far Staff overall are polite and attentive. Best this is getting there I find it quite scenic.
Nat-Awurd A — Google review
TSA was fast, kind and not in a rush like other airports. They guided me through the process - since it’s been over a decade since I last flown and almost everything has changed. The bathrooms are clean in the main entrance, pretty decent in Concourse C - they have water bottle filters which is amazing since I have an empty water bottle to fill. It tastes decent too. The layout is extremely easy to navigate since it is a smaller airport. Lots of different shops and food areas though which is a plus if you’re hungry.
Ja A — Google review
The airport is very clean and well-organized. Security checks are quick, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurants and cafés offer good options, and clear signage makes it easy to navigate. A great choice for a smooth and comfortable travel experience.

Airport associate Carolyn G. Working for JetBlue assisting a flight to Boston, forced me to check my personal item due to a “full flight”. With medical equipment that can be broken in my bag the associate told me that she didn’t care and that it would be my fault the flight was further delayed. The flight was already delayed two hours to no fault of my own. Upon boarding there was plenty of room for my bag above my designated seat. But I was denied my belonging well before anyone had checked if there was room or not. Associates should be more considerate of passengers needs and do their best to accommodate them. Telling a passenger they don’t care about medical equipment that is needed on board but would not fit in my lap for the flight is not acceptable. We’ll see what happens when the flight lands if everything is intact. Horrible service provided by Carolyn G. Of JetBlue.
