Food & Drink
Quails' Gate Winery in West Kelowna offers tours, tastings, and lakefront accommodations along with a Pacific Northwest restaurant called Old Vines. The restaurant is renowned for its use of the freshest local ingredients, serving up new seasonal specialties regularly. Guests can also enjoy the popular long table dinners on Wednesdays throughout the summer, featuring a four-course dinner paired with Quails' Gate wines amidst the vineyard.
Leanne was our host, and she was absolutely incredible. So knowledgeable and generous, and was able to answer any question and provide info beyond a standard script. The facility is beautiful and runs like a well-oiled machine. We did the Stewart family reserve tasting, and everything was very special. We'll definitely be back and would love to do the sparkling tasting in the future.

What a wonderful meal and location. We had three courses and a wonderful bottle of wine. We sat outside and were at first worried it would be a bit cold but the heaters were perfect and we were offered blankets also but didn’t need these! View was such a wonderful bonus and music and atmosphere was great. Food was absolutely amazing and our waitress Paige was just wonderful, she was so kind, friendly and attentive, making some wonderful choices/recommendations for us on the wine and dessert. We spoke at the table about how lovely she was! Thank you Paige and Quails gate for a fantastic evening!
Demi B — Google review
We’re members and we came in for a tasting, yesterday. The tasting was lead by Amelia, and she was as outstanding! She had a bubbly and welcoming personality, she was super knowledgeable on her tasting notes and pairings and just delivered an all-in-all exceptional experience. Probably our favourite tasting we’ve had here yet. She also helped me find my new favourite red at the winery, the Queue!
JGowe — Google review
We came from Ontario and had the most amazing wine tasting at Quails’ Gate! The views were stunning and the wines incredible — but Tory made the whole experience unforgettable. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. If you visit, ask for Tory — she’s an absolute gem!
Cristina K — Google review
I was on a road trip with my small dog, so I deliberately sought out this winery because I heard here is dog-friendly. I was so pleased that I was allowed to hold my dog while doing a tasting and purchasing wine. I had been informed that dogs needed to be held while inside the building, so I was prepared with a cross-body dog carrier bag, which made it perfectly manageable. The staff member who guided us through the tasting was incredibly friendly and professional. Their kindness was a wonderful bonus. I would love to visit again next time I'm not the designated driver!
Roy Y — Google review
We celebrated our one-year anniversary here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The view was absolutely breathtaking; truly unforgettable. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the wine paired beautifully with our meal. Everything about the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Such a special place, and we’ll always remember our night here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a beautiful atmosphere!
Kalie G — Google review
Quails' Gate Restaurant was an absolutely fantastic experience with incredible food. We went for dinner one evening and returned for lunch another day, both meals were outstanding. The duck, in particular, was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection. Everything we tried from the happy hour lunch menu was also delicious, the salad and beef tartare were personal favorites. The setting and location are also stunning. We’ll definitely be back in the future :)
Sarah L — Google review
Outstanding Okanagan gem. One of the oldest wineries in BC, truly exceptional. Neil our host for our anniversary tasting was fantastic and charming. His depth of wine knowledge was brilliant. Beautiful setting, grounds and of course wines. Stewart Family reserve Chardonnay was top notch.

Restaurant
Old Vines Restaurant @ Quails' Gate Winery offers a contemporary Pacific Northwest dining experience with panoramic views of the vineyard. The restaurant prides itself on ethical farm-to-table dining, serving specially-paired vintage wines and seasonal vegetables grown on-site. They also prioritize sustainability by sourcing seafood from responsible suppliers. Dining at Old Vines provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the connection between food and its origins in a beautiful setting.
Celebrated my birthday at Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery, and it was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the views over the vineyard and Okanagan Lake set the tone—absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The food was incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—we especially loved the duck, the fresh local produce, and of course, the wine pairings. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. What made the night even more special was the service. The staff were attentive, kind, and made me feel genuinely celebrated, even bringing out a surprise birthday dessert. Whether you're a local or visiting the Okanagan, Old Vines is the perfect place for a special occasion. Great wine, amazing food, and one of the most beautiful dining settings anywhere.
Justin K — Google review
The restaurant at Quails Gate is set in a beautiful setting with amazing views. Service was very friendly, although there may have been a lack of communication from the host to the server, as no one came to greet/take our order for a long time.. until one server found us and looked shocked that no one came to help us after being seated. Our waiter was awesome though.
Christine — Google review
The restaurant located on the winery is exquisite. One can eat indoors or on a deck outdoors with fire pits to stay warm in the cooler fall days. We opted for indoors. The restaurant has a wall of windows looking out over the vineyard or beyond. The menu has suggested pairings with each item - which we went with, and the pairings worked very well. The octopus appetizer was beautiful and delicious, positioned atop a red pepper with fried chickpeas humus. The mushroom risotto was very tasty, although not so taken with the accompanying picked mushrooms. The saffron apple and burrita appetizer sounded nice, but was a little disappointing in terms of presentation, and had no wow. The tuna tataki with aeoli sauce, Japanese vegetable salad was tasty - a highlight was crispy, crunchy sushi rice. The service was professional throughout.
Doug D — Google review
Old Vines never disappoints! This is our favourite restaurant in the whole valley. The food, the wine, the views...all outstanding! We were very fortunate to get the corner table last night, thanks to a good friend!
Mike A — Google review
We visited the restaurant and the food was a wonderful surprise. The risotto was amazing, the steak was delicious, and the winery itself is beautiful. I definitely recommend it! Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy that day, and even though we had a reservation, our table didn’t have a view.
Kelly — Google review
Excellent long lunch here last week - very good food & lovely relaxed atmosphere sitting outside. Only slight negative is sometimes the wine pairings took a while to arrive with each course so we were nearly finished with our meal before we got to try the wine paired with each course, but it was all good.
O&A — Google review
"Outrageously" haute cuisine. A special dinner celebration for a starving palate. From appetizers to desserts, this place exceeded our expectations. Heavenly, fresh, gourmandizing, flavorful, savory, exquisite and mouth-watering food. I felt like I was back home in Europe walking down memory lane. Instead we were minutes away from home, yet in a place where the surroundings made one feel like you just stepped into Paradise. The ambiance was warm cozy and unwinding from a long day was instant. Our dishes were vibrant, creatively presented, bursting of freshness with unique flavors, simply a delight for any gourmet food enthusiast. Our server Frederic was very attentive without being overbearing. This was more than just a meal and evening out for dinner, it was an elegant memorable experience.
Maggie B — Google review
Beautiful view and good food. Nice wine pairing. Portions are very small, so order carefully. The restaurant gets fairly busy, so plan ahead (especially during summer months).

Frind Estate Winery

Bakery
The Frind Estate Winery is a waterfront winery with beach access in West Kelowna. It is home to a gorgeous fire pit, and their winemaker hails from Summerhill Pyramid Winery. There are three wine tastings available: an introductory wine tasting for first time visitors, a family-style dinner wine tasting, and an advanced wine tasting for more experienced drinkers.
I had such a wonderful time at Frind Winery in Kelowna! The location alone makes it worth visiting — it’s right on the lake, and sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine while looking at the water felt absolutely perfect. The staff made the experience even better. They were friendly, welcoming, and really took the time to explain the wines without making it feel rushed or overly formal. I learned a lot but also felt relaxed, which is exactly how a tasting should be. The wines themselves were excellent. I especially enjoyed the crisp whites, but honestly everything I tried was smooth and well-balanced. You can really tell there’s a lot of care put into each bottle. We also ordered food, and it paired beautifully with the wines. Having lunch with that view was one of the highlights of my trip to Kelowna.

Been wanting to boat down from Vernon for quite a while. It is FANTASTIC to have a lakeside winery with a dock for your boat. Fun way to spend an afternoon. We enjoyed lunch under shade, wood fired prosciutto pizza and the salmon bowl along with a glass of rose wine , very nice. Coffee shop with pastry ice cream assorted drinks and a great burnt toffee cookie!! Large lawn area with picnic tables for take out and patio with table service. Beach to lounge on with a few cabanas. Live music some evenings will be back to enjoy. Busy wine tasting room all areas service was well done. Only reason its not a five star review, the interior split air conditioning units were pretty dirty and some cobwebs in the corners..... guess I had too much time to look around

Had a great time at the Frind Estate Winery, came across the place while looking for wine tasting. No prior reservations are required and you could walk, cost $10 per person. Tasted some amazing wines, first time trying a delicious dessert wine. The bartender was absolutely cool, very knowledgeable and did an excellent explanation how the taste is made. Frind wine has some good tasting wine.

Visiting from Australia, we were delighted to be able to take in a lovely lunch at this special winery. We took the liberty of trying a 3 Meat Pizza which was so fresh and tasty. The atmosphere in the outdoor area was delightful in the sun and the outlook over the lake making it all that much more special. Chelsea, our waiter was delightful and made us feel so welcome and she could not do enough for us during our stay. Highly recommended in comparison to other winery cellar doors we visited. Thank you again to Chelsea Peter and Mary Brisbane Australia.

We had an incredible wine tasting experience today! The gentleman pouring our wine was outstanding. The patio and beach area are absolutely beautiful, and the fact that it’s accessible by boat makes it even cooler. We’ll definitely be back!
Angela D — Google review
Ok…let me start with the fact that my family and I had a great time at Frind a few days ago! I always wanted to go there but I am not sure what prevented it these past years lol Anyway, this is such an amazing winery! It's probably the only one with various shops and offerings—a coffee shop, a cocktail place, a takeout pizzeria, and a restaurant! The only downside was the long wait for takeout pizza to sit on the lakeside, which is understandable based on how popular the winery is! Oh and the pizza 🤤 they were AMAZINGLY delicious! We loved the three meats the best! On top of it all, the family-friendly atmosphere made it entertaining for my LO to play and be free while we enjoyed wine and pizza… Secure a few hours and go enjoy a great day at the beach! 🍕🍷🌊
Yasamanl — Google review
I had the most wonderful experience at this winery! The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the tasting both fun and educational. Helene was the one who did our tasting and she was amazing , definitely made the experience phenomenal ! The wines were exceptional—beautifully balanced and full of character, with something to please every palate. The atmosphere was stunning, with gorgeous views that made the whole visit feel special and relaxing. You can tell how much care and passion goes into every bottle. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for an unforgettable wine experience!

WOW!!! North America’s first beach front winery, amazing atmosphere, food is delicious, especially there pizza 🍕 wine is fantastic Specially there Riesling, they have a variety of other drink options like ciders etc… A must see and try for anyone living in the Okanagan or anywhere for that matter. One of a kind experience and place.

Waterfront Wines Restaurant & Bar is a vibrant and modern wine bar known for its carefully curated tapas, entrees, and craft cocktails. This locally renowned establishment has been consistently recognized as the Best Okanagan Restaurant by Vancouver Magazine for eight consecutive years. The restaurant's dedication to partnering with passionate local producers ensures that it showcases the finest ingredients the area has to offer.
How have I not reviewed this place yet!?! I've been 6 or 7 times now and it is 100% my favorite restaurant in Kelowna! I've tried most of the menu and everything, especially the nightly specials, are amazing! The Charcuterie, the Squid, the Tuna, and the Flank Steak are the best, but you really can't go wrong! Staff is excellent, prices are wayyy lower than comparable restaurants, and it's such a beautiful interior (with comfy seating).
Brittany H — Google review
I made a reservation for an anniversary. Was expecting some special dinner but sadly it was just a regular dinner. The patio is nice but far from special. For the service, really nice and experience servers. For the food: the tapas as an entrée is completely skippable. The main course, was the steak that I can recommend and the special of the day, that was just ok. It's a nice everyday restaurant but won't say a special occasions place.
Juanita P — Google review
Had the calamari appetizer disk. The calamari were not crisp as I was expecting, and the sauce was rather bland. The dish lacked color, and presentation was bland. Onto the next course - the steel head brought. Nice presentation and the thought was a good medium rare. The shrimp dish was also good and well presented.
Doug D — Google review
Amazing little restaurant in Kelowna. I had the pleasure to be seated at the bar and served by a very nice, and very efficient barmaid. I took the Angus flat iron steak, which I was told was a popular dish on the menu, and I was not disappointed! The wine selection by the glass was also very interesting. Very good place for a date night, or for dining solo if you're like me. I highly recommend if you're in Kelowna!!
Amelie N — Google review
Went here for our first night in Kelowna and it was a great experience. The patio is gorgeous, comfy and tucked away from the elements. The service was top notch with friendly and personable servers that had numerous recommendations. The food was quite good. I think I would’ve ordered a different main but the cheese and charcuterie was some of the best I’ve had. A must order if you go here. I would recommend this place for a fine dining experience and great patio.

***Must Visit*** After several family/friends/foodie recommendation it was finally time to enjoy this award winning, farm-to-table gem. Chef and Sommelier Mark Filatow (Wickaninnish Inn, Bishops, Diva at the Met, Fresco) strives for the freshest, locally sourced ingredients and local wines/spirits/beers. His passion for ONLY the finest truly resonates with each delicately prepared dish… Sensational! There is no secret why Waterfront Restaurant & Wine Bar is 12th year in a row “Best Restaurant in the Okanagan”! Confidently, one of our favourite restaurants we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy! 🏆🍷🍇🥂
Jordan B — Google review
Had never been before, and it surpassed expectations. The food was fantastic…had fish for both courses a mend the crème brûlée was mmmmm. The topping on the cake was Sharleen. She provided amazing energy for our group. She was on it, her wit was sharp, and her service was great!!! Thank you so much for a memorable evening.
Adam A — Google review
What a great meal that was! My wife and I couldn't decide on which starters to get as they all looked so good. So we decided on getting the charcuterie board and cheese board, along with the potted foie gras, to make a full dinner. Everything was fantastic! The amount of food on the board was very generous and it all tasted great! The foie gras was very decadent! Our servers were friendly and very helpful in making suggestions. Overall, we thought Waterfront was just phenomenal and we look forward to coming back soon!

Bistro
Bouchons Bistro is a charming French restaurant located in Kelowna's Cultural District, offering a delightful selection of traditional French dishes and a well-curated wine list. The bistro provides an elegant and sensory experience with its Parisian-inspired menu, carefully designed decor, and special du jour offerings. Guests can indulge in exquisite dishes such as Gravlax de Saumon, Le Cassoulet, and Le Carre d'Agneau.
We had the most amazing dinner here! We came for a graduation celebration and everything was absolutely fantastic! We started with delicious martinis and appetizers that we all delicious, I highly recommend the escargot and the oysters! Then we had a lovely bottle of French wine with our mains. They brought out some special deserts with sparklers for us to end our evening of celebrating. They really know how to make an evening special!
Gabrielle H — Google review
We ordered red wine, escargot, beef tartare, and the surf & turf with beef tenderloin. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The escargot arrived in edible cups instead of shells, and they were drowned in oil, which took away from the flavor. The restaurant tries to present itself as authentically French, but it feels more pretentious than genuine. Our server, who had such a heavy French accent that it was difficult to understand him, was also dismissive and rude. When we asked about the three-course option, he simply pointed to the board with an attitude and told us to “read it,” rather than explaining the specials. I have French colleagues who are easier to understand and more welcoming. Given the food quality and the service, I honestly don’t understand the consistently high ratings this place receives. There are far better dining options in Kelowna.
Mahdi R — Google review
We celebrated my husband's birthday at Bouchons Bistro last night & what a beautiful experience that was. We were greeted with sincerity & the atmosphere was authentic & unique to any restaurant we have been to in the Okanagan. The service was impeccable & the food was decadent! We enjoyed the ambiance and music playing in the background & the superb service we received from everyone. The Bistro gives you a feeling of being tucked away yet is close to everything. Try it - you won't regret it if your looking for a perfect place to dine and want to treat yourself. Thank You Bouchons Bistro - we will be back!
Kim L — Google review
This delightful bistro was very near out hotel, and right next to Waterfront Wines. This was my favorite dinner of our trip: classic French fare, lovely outdoor seating, and excellent service from a very funny waitress. Also great were the traditional Escargot served in crisply little edible cups, and the Seafood Vol au Vent. Very French.
Steve A — Google review
Absolutely amazing ❤️ My husband and I went to Bouchons Bistro to celebrate my 61st and couldn't have made a better choice. I have a garlic allergy, so eating out is always a risk, but we contacted the restaurant prior to going and let them know. I was made well aware of what dishes were garlic free. I settled on the Seafood Vol au Vent, and my husband had the Crevettes et Noix de Saint Jacques. They were delicious. For dessert, I had Crème Brûlée and my husband had the Fondant au Chocolat. We each had one drink and no appetizer. We definitely will be coming back to try other dishes ❤️
Susan R — Google review
My birthday meal was excellent. The patio was delightful. We had the set menu. The salmon and duck were both excellent and the quiche was the best I have had - light and pastry free. Loved the 3 mini servings of dessert too. An alternate milk option for my coffee would have been appreciated.
Diane K — Google review
Such a great spot for authentic French food in Kelowna! Everything we tried was full of flavour and perfectly done. The interior has a charming, authentic French feel — it really adds to the whole experience. The place had a nice, relaxed vibe — busy but in a really good way. The service was excellent, and the host made us feel so welcome. We had a great time!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful evening last august for her birthday. I think about that dinner often as it was one of the best I have ever had. The service was amazing. It was a very windy day and there was no issues when we requested a seat inside due to the weather. Wine recommendations were perfect with our meals. Highly recommend. Will be back every time I am in Kelowna.

CedarCreek Estate Winery is a picturesque winery located in the north part of the Okanagan Valley, offering stunning views of Lake Okanagan and the surrounding mountains. The estate features a wine shop, tours, seated wine tasting experiences, a restaurant, and event space.
I take my friends and family who are visiting Kelowna for a wine tasting at CedarCreek every time, and it never disappoints. The view from the Aspect house is unbeatable, and the experience you get is above and beyond. Not to mention the wines and food pairings (for the food paired tasting) are absolutely perfect. I’ve gone a couple times and had Doug do my group’s tasting, and he’s so knowledgeable and makes the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit and tasting here!
Jenny A — Google review
The view was 5* and so was our wonderful waitress Emily H, who is funny and knowledgeable. In fact, all the servers were really nice. The venue is attractive but there isn’t much convenient parking, and the food is okay, but over-engineered. I’ve had better food at cheaper places.
Deborah C — Google review
Visited after having lunch at another winery and wanted something light to go with the wine. We ordered the cheese platter and sticky toffee pudding. The cheese paired beautifully with the wine, and the sticky toffee pudding was exactly what I was craving—absolutely delicious! A great spot to enjoy wine with just the right bites on the side.
Jessica Y — Google review
We visited this winery while traveling from Vancouver, hoping for something special. We managed to get a reservation, but the overall vibe wasn’t that unique. The patio was extremely hot and uncomfortable to sit in for long. We did a tasting of 5 wines — they weren’t terrible, but definitely nothing amazing. All wines were from 2022 to 2025, so quite young and not very complex. The tasting platter for two was $20, but honestly very small and not worth it. In the end, we bought one bottle of rosé from 2024 for $52. There weren’t many better options — most wines were overpriced for what they were. Honestly, if you skip this winery, you’re not missing out on anything special.
Eva Z — Google review
Had the most delicious lunch at CedarCreek. We had the 2 course dining menu with wine pairing and everything was so yum. The best buratta we’ve ever had! The views from our table were beautiful and the staff were all super friendly. Would definitely recommend
Chloe S — Google review
End-to-end fantastic. Tasty cocktails, great 3 course meal with wine pairings, excellent service from Matt and Joel (both Ontario guys) finished off with dessert and coffee on the deck. Can we go back tomorrow!
Donna F — Google review
If you didn’t arrive by 6 you won’t be able to sit down and enjoy the tasting. Then you will pay 15 for two estate wine tastings. Definitely not the best value around so would recommend making the reservation before coming. Great architecture and view though. Would love to come back one day.

This was my first time visiting a Kelowna winery, and CedarCreek has set the bar sky-high for any future visits. The property is absolutely stunning, the service was exceptional, and the three course wine-paired dinner at Home Block was unforgettable. From the Italian burrata starter to the famous sticky toffee pudding. Stunning views, incredible food, and a truly memorable experience. Thank you.

Renowned for its refined New Canadian cuisine and breathtaking vineyard views, this culinary gem at Mission Hill Winery combines impeccable service with innovative dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients that celebrate the essence of Okanagan.
Had an amazing experience dining here for the first time with family! We were first greeted by the electric host, Katie, and our server, Joe, was nothing short of spectacular. Shoutout to the BOH as well! ‘The eyes eat first’ with beautiful presentation and delicious flavours to follow, the food was very satisfying even though we only came in for the lounge menu. We are looking forward to visiting again for the 3-course dinner and booking one of their ornate private rooms!!

We have come here before but stayed for a three course meal this time. The food was incredible. Honestly so gourmet and unique. Our sever, Matika, was the ever accommodating hostess to our questions and queries about the wine and food. Stunning atmosphere ignited by stunning culinary consumables. We love the wine. We love the vibes. We are so grateful for our evening at Mission Hills. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing for an elevated experience.

We had lunch here and tried the Wagyu beef, beet salad, scallops, and duck breast — everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The wine pairing elevated each course perfectly. The outdoor dining area is stunning, with gorgeous vineyard views that make the experience even more memorable. Service was warm and attentive, with staff who clearly care about creating a great experience. A must-visit spot in Kelowna.

Wonderful lunch. The restaurant has spectacular views overlooking vineyards, Lake Okanagan and hills beyond. The service was professional and friendly. Our server was Kelsey. We had Ricotta Gnudi and beet salad as appetizers, and roasted duck breasts for the main course. All were delicious. The recommended wine parings worked very well. We were about to skip desert, when the maitre d' stopped at our table and talked us into sharing a San Sebastian cheese cake. It was to die for- just like the Basque cheesecake we experienced in Bilbao earlier this year. You HAVE TO try it especially if you are a lover of cheesecake.

We've been to The Terrace Restaurant many times and each visit is a unique dining experience. If you enjoy great food paired with excellent wine then their set course dinner won't disappoint. Each dish is beautifully prepared and each wine has been thoughtfully paired to enhance the flavours of that dish. And in case you like a wine that you had with your meal, I appreciate that you can purchase bottles at the same price as you would pay in their wine shop. The servers are always excellent hosts! Overall, a great experience each time we have been there.

Wow! What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional: food, wine, service, and ambiance. Mission Hill Winery exceeded all expectations and delivered a dining experience that was not only the best we've had in Canada, but truly one of the finest we've had anywhere in the world. We wholeheartedly recommend it for any occasion. Whether you're celebrating something special, or simply treating yourself to something extraordinary. Summary: Fantastic food. Phenomenal wine. Spectacular views. But what truly brought Mission Hill to life was the service. From the warm welcome at the gate to the attentive table service and a one-of-a-kind cellar experience, every moment was thoughtfully curated and genuinely memorable. Details: My (new!) fiancé and I are visiting Canada from Australia, and on the strong recommendation of friends and fellow travellers , we made a point to visit the renowned Mission Hill Winery. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this would be a special experience. As we passed through the winery gates, we were immediately struck by the elegant architecture and meticulously maintained gardens. Friendly, impeccably presented staff welcomed us and guided us to parking. After a short stroll across the manicured entry lawn, we were greeted again - this time by a young host who led us to our table with a view that deserves a paragraph of its own… Set beneath a graceful stone arch, our table looked out over a sun-kissed vineyard gently sloping toward the shimmering lake. A doe and her fawn grazed peacefully just beyond the first row of vines, adding a storybook charm to an already stunning setting. The surrounding hills evoked memories of a Swiss summer or perhaps a New Zealand spring. Utterly breathtaking. Our server, Matika (more on her in a moment), welcomed us warmly and offered a complimentary glass of sparkling rosé. As self-proclaimed non-rosé drinkers, we were genuinely impressed—so much so that we ordered a second glass. It was the first of many surprises. The menu was beautifully curated, though we honestly wished there were more courses to try. Between us, we enjoyed the goat cheese salad, Wagyu carpaccio, catch of the day (scallops), and the duck—all accompanied by wine pairings. The staff graciously accommodated a few personal preferences with ease. Matika walked us through each dish and wine pairing with knowledgeable and mouthwatering descriptions. Remarkably, every single dish and wine was outstanding - something we've rarely experienced before. Normally, there’s at least one miss, but at Mission Hill, everything was a hit. We especially recommend the Chardonnay and Merlot. As we dined, we found ourselves repeatedly marveling at the view, the food, and the overall sense of tranquility. The conversation flowed as effortlessly as the wine. Though we were thoroughly satisfied, we couldn’t resist staying a little longer. We ordered the chocolate dessert along with a glass from their Legacy Collection—an excellent pairing suggested by Matika. Once again, perfection. Mission Hill isn’t just a winery or a fine dining venue—it’s a complete sensory experience, effortlessly blending landscape, cuisine, and hospitality into something truly unforgettable. We left full, happy, and already dreaming of a return visit. Special Thanks: A massive shoutout to our incredible host, Matika, who truly brought the entire experience to life. Her warm, engaging presence and exceptional service went above and beyond. Matika was, without a doubt, the star of the show. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Roxy, who guided us on a truly unforgettable cellar tour. Exploring the mystical vaults beneath the winery, where the aging barrels rest, felt absolutely magical. Roxy’s deep knowledge and genuine passion for winemaking were both inspiring and captivating.

Excellent service and amazing dishes paired with wines! Very enjoyable experience. Especially loved the Yarrow Meadows Duck Roasted in a Pan. We ended up purchasing two bottles of 2024 Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to take home, ($26 each). This was included in the dining bill and tips were paid with the bottles included, which didn’t make sense as we expected a separate bill for the wine. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Raudz Regional Table is a charming bistro with a rustic brick interior and a communal table, offering a menu focused on locally sourced Pacific Northwest cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using high-quality ingredients from local farmers, fishermen, and wine producers who are passionate about their craft. Chef Rod Butters is renowned in the valley's food scene and his creations showcase fun, artistic presentation paired with clean flavors. The menu features a diverse selection of unique dishes that highlight the region's offerings.
I am not easy to please at all. This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever ate at. Our server was knowledgeable and did such an amazing job at describing the plates. We had the Brie appetizer to start, the Arctic Char and Ribeye for our entrees. They brought out a nice birthday dessert at the end. They also make their own delicious lollipops. If you’re looking for a delicious upscale restaurant, this is a must in Kelowna! Thank you for making our dining experience one to remember!

A hidden gem downtown Kelowna! My fiance and I went for our second anniversary and we were completely blown away We were there for about 15 minutes and already talking about coming back. I had steak and she had salmon burger and both were amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked and both plates had delicious crispy veggies. They had tasty mocktails and the service was absolutely perfect. Our server asked if we were there for an occasion, we told her yes our anniversary. After dinner was done we had no room for dessert so we declined the dessert menu. Short thereafter she came out with a wonderful little dessert with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate. Fantastic! Fully recommend!!

My wife and I come here to celebrate our anniversary each year and it never disappoints. The service is extremely wonderful, attentive, that is supported by a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Will always return to celebrate and enjoy the delicious food that always exceeds expectations each time we visit. Thank you for making our anniversary so much more special!

This place lives up to all the hype. This restraunt was recommended by a colleague for my one year wedding anniversary. The food was spectacular. I got their halibut, which is a seasonal dish, and their crab cappuccino to start. My wife got the brisket and chuck burger, as well as the aged focaccia. All the food was absolutely amazing. The only thing that wasn't up to the standard of everything else was that I had mentioned several times it was our 1 year wedding anniversary, and no one had congratulated me or my wife. A 'happy anniversary' from the server would have sufficed. Not that it changes it from a 4 to star, but the little things go a long way. I'd recommend this for a fancy meal. Keep in mind what I ordered, + 2 drinks, was 180 dollars.

We came here for valentines dinner and we had an awesome time! Great atmosphere and services. Everyone was very friendly! The food was really good too. We enjoyed all of it. The steaks were very tender and grilled to perfection. Gnocchi was good as a starter but I think I wouldn’t order it as main. The bread was also a good starter. Overall, we had a good time and will definitely come back!

First time here. Definitely, a more laid back environment than i expected. We tried several dishes - everything had great presentation. The flavouring was a bit hit and miss for me. The sides that came with each entree are often better than the main. Overall 4/5 for the taste of the food. Friendly service.

Update 07/07/23: still one of my favorite restaurants in Kelowna. One of the best restaurants, and my favorite restaurant in Kelowna. Well balanced and unique food, along with a great ambience. Definitely worth in both portion and price. I would highly recommend the pork loin. The BBQ sauce is superb and a perfect accompaniment to the pork loin. And it's topped with the most perfect bacon-wrapped scallop. We also had the seasonal menu main - the sablefish shrimp mousseline. Although super tasty, I found the dish a bit too heavy and rich....and was looking for something acidic to balance the dish. Also the shrimp mousse was a bit meagre...and would have liked to taste a bit more of the mousse. Overall, an amazing restaurant and am looking forward to the next visit!

Raudz is a casual spot that really knows how to impress. I love that they have a monthly rotational menu that keeps things fresh and exciting. It's farm-to-table goodness at its finest. Let's talk about their fruit puree martini. Wow, just wow. It's seriously amazing. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and it's like sipping on a fruity dessert with a delightful boozy twist. Highly recommend giving it a try. But what really sets Raudz apart is their commitment to being green. They've got sustainable practices down pat. From sourcing locally grown ingredients to minimizing waste and using eco-friendly packaging, they're doing their part to take care of the planet. Gotta appreciate that. The vibe at Raudz is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and always happy to help. No snooty attitudes here. They make you feel right at home. Now, onto the food. The monthly rotational menu keeps things interesting, and you know you're in for a treat. I recently tried their pan fried halibut with clams and it was comfort heaven. Fresh halibut, local and flavorful veggies, and an amazing sauce—it hit the spot. Came to visit from Vancouver and gotta say, it was worth the visit.

The Lookout Restaurant at Gray Monk Winery is a must-visit eatery with breathtaking views of the Okanagan Valley. The seasonal menu, curated by Executive Chef Graham Momer, showcases the best local produce and supports regional farmers. Guests rave about the delectable dishes such as short ribs, risotto, heirloom tomato salad, pork belly, and scallops. The patio offers an unrivaled view and features a retractable roof for an unforgettable dining experience.
Such a memorable experience dining on the patio. I absolutely loved the scallops and pork belly - melted in your mouth and had a really buttery flavour. Staff are attentive and the food presentation feels like fine dining. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to try other dishes. My only feedback would be that the bathrooms needed more attention (no paper & in need of a clean).

After some wine tasting, my group and I visited the restaurant. I ordered the Winter 2025 Chef's Menu. It consisted of a winter salad ($5), linguine carbonara ($25) and toblerone mousse ($5) for a total of $35. The starter salad was delicious, it consisted of gorgonzola, hazelnut, pear dressing and fresh pear. There was the perfect amount of gorgonzola, I actually want to take notes and make this salad at home in the future. The dessert was delicious, consisting of pear butter, fresh pear, hazelnut sponge and chantilly. Together, they were definitely worth $5 each. However, the Liguine Carbonara missed the mark. It was supposed to have Gunaciale, a rich, fatty cured italian pork product. However, I had a SINGLE small piece in my carbonara beneath the arugula. My cousin who ordered the exact same thing had 8+ pieces. The linguine itself tasted house made.. however the carbonara was extremely bland. I didn't taste any salt, pepper or cheese. I was very disappointed to pay $25 for a small portion, that didn't have any flavour nor meat. For me to be disappointed with food while drunk speaks volumes. I think this restaurant has potential. I would be willing to return again and try something else.

Came here for a company dinner / awards show. Food was fantastic, really top notch. Drinks were great (its an award winning winery afterall) and the staff was very professional. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone and everyone who will listen.

The view, the food, and the service are all amazing. Bette Marie is the best server we have had in a very long time! And the summer special leek and prawn pasta should stay on the menu all year. Always great wine options here too, expertly paired by a server as great as Bette Marie!

Olivia was so kind and patient with my indecisive family haha! The food was really phenomenal, I had the confit pork and it was to die for! Pistachio ice cream is amazing too! My family had the peach mouse also super good. Couldn’t recommend enough. And the view was awesome!

The Kelowna Farmers' and Crafters' Market is a bustling market open year-round, featuring a diverse selection of farm-fresh produce, locally made goods, and artisanal products. You can visit the market on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm until October. It's an excellent opportunity to connect with local producers and farmers while enjoying the freshest food options available.
Our first time visiting from Alberta and we were seriously impressed! The vibes at the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market were awesome—such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Tons of great vendors with everything from handmade goods to fresh produce. Free parking nearby made it super easy, and there were lots of food options to keep everyone happy. We especially loved the coffee and kombucha vendors—definitely a standout! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

We were glad that we managed to squeeze a visit to this market before driving to Vancouver. There were many interesting stalls and would have really liked to have spent more time here. This market really showcased a lot of the local produced and the vegetables and fruits sold were so fresh. The stall owners were all so friendly as well.

Me and my wife visited the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market and had a great time exploring the stalls. We picked up some farm-fresh berries for just $5, which were super sweet and delicious. Also bought homemade jams and some handcrafted jewellery – a bit on the expensive side, but you can really see the effort and quality behind the products. One tip: it’s always good to carry some cash, as not every vendor accepts cards. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to support local farmers and artisans. Totally recommend checking it out!

Kelowna Farmers Market has lots of options and a lively atmosphere, but I missed the local pastries and home-baked goods. For more of a community feel, I prefer the Peachland Farmers Market

The crafters market is open Wednesday and Saturday although Saturday is a bigger market. There are so many things to see and do at the market. There's food trucks, jewelry, plenty of art, bakery items and fresh fruit and veggies. Also there are flowers galore!!

This is definitely one of the “must go” items if you live or visit Kelowna. Since it moved to the new location at Landmarks area, it brought in more farmers and guests to spend together a great Saturday morning. Right now (October) is a great time to catch it up, just before the market will be moved indoor when it is getting too cold. Let’s go 😂

These croissants with berries & cream are next level. You’ve got to get one. We went to the Wednesday market - what a wonderful idea 🥰 Can’t wait to visit the Thursday evening market downtown tomorrow.

Vancouver International Airport is a major hub located in the southwest of Vancouver, offering seamless travel experiences with exceptional facilities and services. The airport boasts impressive organization and efficiency, with dedicated staff providing commendable professionalism. It is a busy and beautiful airport that sees thousands of passengers traveling globally. The entire space is clean and well-maintained, featuring numerous restaurants catering to all types of travelers, ample amenities, natural lighting, comfortable seating, and detailed signage for easy navigation.
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is one of the most well-organized and traveler-friendly airports I’ve been through. The layout is clear, signage is easy to follow, and the staff are generally helpful. I especially appreciate the clean facilities and the variety of food and shopping options. Security and customs are efficient compared to many other major airports. Overall, a smooth and pleasant travel experience.

Had a great experience here doing a quick layover. Was able to get out and into the airport without any issues or major delays. Some food/souvenir options as well throughout the airport that make it easy to pass time when needed. The only concern is that security instructions were not always clear, but nothing major.

2025 August 3★ The Vancouver airport is really the bridge to Asian countries from Canada. There's no doubt about that. With Canada spanning a good chunk of land between East and West, you are certainly going to need a stop here when flying from the East coast. This airport isn't bad, but it's not spectacular. The good: easy interconnecting connections for multi leg flights There's some decent open spaces such as the open air atrium and play areas. The bad: the food prices are atrocious. About $20+ for fast food. Face it, you'll be stopping by here eventually. Just pack yourself a cup noodles.

This airport, despite its substantial size, proved remarkably easy to navigate. Signage was strategically placed and straightforward to comprehend, with ample bathrooms, rest areas, and dining options available. The facilities, including the bathrooms, were impeccably maintained—no issues encountered during my first visit. Priority pass lounge were good as well.

The airport was SPOTLESS - couldn't find a single speck of dirt anywhere! 👏👍 Check-in was a breeze, super easy and efficient. Plus, the atmosphere was really nice and welcoming! The whole experience was stress-free! Kudos to the staff and cleaning team for keeping it so clean and organized! 🚀"

I flew into Vancouver (YVR) airport and out of 5 days later. I was booked to stay at a hotel in the Richmond area, which provided a complimentary shuttle ride to and from the airport. Once my plane arrived, and I disembarked, there was an easy pathway to guide you to Canadian immigration and customs control points. Be prepared for about a mile walk from plane door to the immigration area. You will be stopping to collect your luggage, unless you only had carry-on. Once through the immigration and customs control points, you will see signs for transportation. If you are looking for the hotel shuttles, head upstairs and look for the exit doors around the Purebread shop. The doors will be right near the sign. Go out the doors and to the right. There will be signs indicating hotel shuttle pickup point. I've added some pictures of what the area looks like so there is some familiarity. Overall, I found the airport really easy to negotiate and well laid out. While you will NEED to be observant to look for the signs, you should be able to find your way. Also, the staff walking through the airport, the information desk, and security people are really helpful in answering questions. I hope you experience in this airport is as good as mine.

The chapel area is very CLEAN, quiet, private, and welcoming. The information lady upstairs wished me to enjoy my prayer when I asked her where the chapel is. I DID 😊. Staff are respectful welcoming taking really good care of the place. Dennis guided me and my son. Very thankful and grateful to the management and personnel in charge. Staff are great, smiling, and supportive. The chapel is located on Level 2 - across from Tim Hortons. Enjoy 🤲🏻📿📖🧎🏻‍♂️‍➡️🧎‍➡️

One of the nicer airports out there. Clean, modern, and surprisingly calming for a busy place. The layout makes sense, and the signage is clear so it’s easy to get around. There’s a good mix of food and shops, plus some local touches that give it personality. Security and customs usually move pretty efficiently. Overall, it feels like a smooth start or end to any trip.
