Restaurant
Amente Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is a charming spot located in the heart of Drymonas village, offering breathtaking sea views and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu features reimagined local dishes and desserts made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. It's an ideal place for a romantic proposal, with its evocative position to watch Lefkada's sunset. Additionally, the bar offers late-night drinks with water views, making it a perfect choice for those seeking an unforgettable evening experience.
Amente is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the moment you arrive, the stunning panoramic view of the Ionian Sea coastline and the chic, sophisticated atmosphere set the stage for a truly memorable evening. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and strikes the perfect balance between being present and allowing you to enjoy your meal. They are eager to guide you through the menu and wine list, offering thoughtful recommendations that enhance the dining experience. The cuisine is a masterful take on modern Mediterranean fare, with each dish presented as a work of art. Amente is a destination for those looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a high-end dining experience.

The place is really beautiful and the view on sunset is stunning. Food we ordered was delicious except for the burrata which was nothing special for the 20 EUR price. Cocktails were also super tasty. However, I don't see a point in paying 8 EUR for the valet service as it should be included in the dinner (when you have minimum consumption required) and it also made the process of leaving/taking our car a lot slower. Don't expect to have a calm dinner since there are a lot of people going around the tables taking photos/videos.
Stefan B — Google review
Food good but not exceptional, there was no wow-factor but still very good. No complaints about the service. We had a table for minimum 60 euro/person and was very pleased with our seats. And last but not least - the view. This is a big part of the experience. We ate at 17-19 in the evening so the sun was still quit high. They did put up a umbrella, otherwise it would had been too hot in the sun. Less people this time but no singer or performance this early.
Angelica — Google review
Amente, Amente... booked this place, with the best view for my birthday. This was the best view restaurant I have ever visited. The food was fantastic - mind-blowing. The service was great. The view - cant even describe it by words... The atmosphere - the music, the vibe were the best thing I have ever experienced. Next year, will be there again.
Веселин В — Google review
I recently dined at this restaurant and was genuinely impressed. The staff’s attention to detail is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to make you feel welcome. The food is flavorful and beautifully prepared, while the cocktails truly delight the taste buds, each one a small experience on its own. It’s clear that the restaurant focuses more on striking plating and presentation than on the complexity of the ingredients, but the result is still memorable and visually stunning. The only drawback is the reservation process: if you want to catch the magical sunset from your table, you really need to book well in advance. Other than that, it’s a place I’d happily return to for both the atmosphere and the culinary artistry.
Florentina P — Google review
Brilliant idea of creating a st of shallow pools in which tables are laid ,around, and on "islands" inside the pool. Breathtaking views and impeccable service, as setting for interesting, and well cooked food. Just a bit over expensive in terms of value for money, but an experience worth having - once.
Mickie V — Google review
Beautiful sunset, great vibe, amazing food and service. We booked the 8–10pm slot for 6 people, including two little boys (4 & 7 years old), by the pool area (minimum €50/person). Kids also need to meet the minimum spend unless you book the 6pm slot. 4 adults easily hit €300 — and for the setting, service, and overall experience, I think it’s totally worth it. Valet parking is €8. Bring a jacket-it gets chilly!
Hee — Google review
Well, dining here truly is an adventure 😇. It all begins with the journey from Lefkada to this place — full of challenges, with winding climbs and descents. There’s parking both at the base of the entrance and further up (the lower one is valet service at €8 — I’m not sure about the upper one). Reservations are a must, with advance payment (€20 per person, which will be deducted from your final bill — take note) a few days ahead. You can choose between three seating areas. The maximum dining time is around two hours, after which you’ll be informed and, if you wish, moved to a bar table. The venue is larger than I expected, with most seating at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the dishes I chose, as I had different expectations at first. The waiters were attentive and quick during dinner, though service at the bar was slower. The bar menu is different, and the sushi there is excellent. What I didn’t enjoy was that I thought there would be live background music — they only tested a few instruments, and, ironically, when we left around 9 p.m., that’s when the music finally started 🙃.

FLY ME Sun & Stars bar

Cocktail bar
Perched on a hill in Exanthia village, FLY ME sun&stars bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with modern decor and a terrace overlooking the sea and mountains. It's renowned for its breathtaking sunset views and is a popular spot for paragliding enthusiasts. The bar serves cold drinks, cocktails, coffee, light snacks, and breakfast. While it can get windy and busy, the stunning views make it worth the wait.
We have been coming to this place since it originally opened ages ago. We’ve actually watched the restaurant and bar grow from a small little establishment to this amazing space. Serve has always been on point, of course everyone can get better, some people are born with it and others need to be taught. On the flip side, most guests are understanding and polite, while others aren’t so much. Everyone needs to be patient and calm, especially when you’re in a beautiful area like this. The food and cocktails are excellent. The view and ambiance is unmatched. Just to sit and have a drink while overlooking the water and mountains is something worth more than the price of a drink itself. The sunset is, of course a-mazing and simply make a reservation to ensure you get a table. Seating is on chairs, benches, on the floor and bean bags. Something for everyone!!

🌅 Beautiful View, But Poor Service and Basic Comforts Missing – Disappointing Experience at Fly Me Fly Me offers one of the most stunning sunset views in Lefkada, and the venue itself is visually impressive. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far from what you’d expect from such a popular spot. We waited outside for 45 minutes without being served or acknowledged, just to be let in after the sun had already set. The host seemed to call people at random, clearly favoring locals, while many guests who had come specifically for the sunset were left standing outside. By the time we entered, half the crowd had already left. Once inside, we ordered two glasses of red wine. The staff were rushed and inattentive, and when the bill came, we were explicitly asked for a tip—despite the long wait and lack of service. It felt undeserved and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no running water in the bathroom. When we asked, we were told it was a general issue on the island. While we understand that things happen, not being able to flush the toilet in a packed venue is simply unacceptable. Perhaps with a reservation the experience would be smoother, but as walk-ins, it was frustrating and disappointing. The view is gorgeous, but the lack of organization, hospitality, and basic amenities made it hard to enjoy.
Michael C — Google review
We came here twice we loved it so much, we even witnessed a proposal! Lovely cats around, delicious cocktails and the food was low key better than the one in the restaurant. There is a limit of minimum 20 euro per person if you come with reservation and no limit of you walk-in.
Petya K — Google review
Beautiful location! Offers a great view over the sea and sunset. Extremely popular place, probably gone viral on social media. Has a lovely vibe, offering great views and ambience. Amazing experience! Very high in the mountains. The drinks and food at the bar felt over priced, around 18€ for a cocktail and €10-20€ for food. Reservations at needed in advance unless you are okay with waiting in line outside for a while. Driving here is easy on the way up. However, because the place is super popular, parking can be very tricky and driving down at night can be difficult with the amount of cars.
Alex — Google review
Incredible view (especially beautiful at sunset) and a great atmosphere, enhanced by music. There’s a wide selection of delicious food. It’s definitely recommended to make a reservation in advance. The low tables and chairs weren’t very comfortable, and parking was a bit difficult, but the view and the food make it all worth it.
Dániel K — Google review
Fly me bar: Very cool place for a drink and watch the sunset. If you get there around 6:30 you might be able to see the last paragliding taking off. You can make reservations in order to get a nice table. We didn’t have one and we were sat by a veranda which had also very nice view even when there was a huge black cloud that day. I would suggest women don’t wear heels because there is a climb on kind of a slippery stones to get to the place. You can also put yourself on the waiting list to eat in Rachi which was great. I’ll write another review about the restaurant and the food.
Maria R — Google review
A popular place with a beautiful view, but unfortunately very poor service. For a venue with such popularity, we expected much better. When a waitress served the table next to us, she spilled an entire drink, almost on me. I had to move quickly so it didn’t pour on my head. Instead of apologizing, the staff laughed, which was very unprofessional. Only after her shift ended did she come back to apologize. Mistakes can happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference, and here it was done very poorly. When we ordered a dessert that was clearly listed on the menu, we immediately received the bill. A few minutes later, the waitress returned and told us that the dessert was actually unavailable, and asked if we wanted something else. This kind of disorganization is not what you’d expect from a place with so many rules just to make a reservation. The view is undeniably beautiful, but the service needs serious improvement.

Basilico Restaurant in Nidri, Lefkada is a popular dining spot located in the heart of the bustling tourist resort. The area underwent rapid tourism development during the 1980s and is now filled with shops, hotels, and restaurants. Basilico offers a variety of Greek fish and meat dishes in a charming tavern setting. Visitors can enjoy delicious meals while taking in the vibrant atmosphere of Nidri.
AMAZING experience! For the second time we visit this restaurant. The food was totally masterpiece! Delicious and big portions. The flavors were melting my mouth! The whole company would like to thank especially TEO and CHRISTOS for the polite and professional service! Very communicative people which is important for your stay! They were very kind, friendly and recommended us a lot of the things in our table! If we visit again Lefkada we will visit you again for sure! Hope this best service is again here to welcome us! Thank you again for this special dinner! Keep doing what you do! You are the best at this line full of restaurants! Greetings from Bulgaria🥰

Great food and extraordinary service! We were a group of 14 people, we came at 6:30pm without reservation, and they managed to help us getting seated, we really appreciated their effort and help! The food is great, especially the sea food, 10/10! Will definitely come again!

The atmosphere at Basilico Restaurant was very pleasant and relaxing. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and definitely one of the highlights of the place. The service was good and the staff showed great hospitality, especially Petros who welcomed us with care and professionalism. The only small downside was that the food took a bit longer to come from the kitchen, but it was well worth the wait considering the quality. Overall, a very positive experience and definitely a place I recommend to anyone visiting Nidri. 🍴✨
Fisnik S — Google review
This is the best restaurant in Lefkada!🥹We visited this place 3 times a week. Thank you very much Petros, he always made our evening better❤️. The food here is very tasty. I recommend sea bream, seafood plateau for two, moussaka, Greek salad. Very friendly staff, we were treated to bread, limoncella, sweets, ouzo. This place is 1000/10. Definitely worth a visit😍
Ecaterina V — Google review
The food at the restaurant was quite good, especially the seafood – fresh and well-cooked. However, the overall experience was affected by the service. We asked for an ashtray twice, and it was never brought to our table. Also, while I was on my phone for a moment, the waiter came over and asked why I wasn’t eating yet, which felt a bit intrusive and unnecessary. The atmosphere didn’t feel very relaxed because of this kind of interaction. With a bit more attention to customer service, the experience could have been much better.

Recommended 💯. Its definitely amazing, cozy, greatful restaraunt im Nidri. We have attended it at rainy day amd it was a bit chilly, but regardless the absence of covers the staff provided private jackets. 3 local shot drinks with really tasty desrt were provided on dinner complition. Thanks Basilico👍👍👍

We discovered Basilico by chance, and it turned out to be the most wonderful culinary surprise of our vacation. The food is absolutely delicious – every dish has a perfect taste, and you can feel the care and attention in every detail. The staff is amazing: friendly, dedicated, and always attentive to the guests’ needs, with a respect and warmth that make you feel at home. We loved it so much that we went back three nights in a row, and each time the experience was flawless. Our only regret is that our holiday ended and we can no longer enjoy their wonderful dishes. Thank you, Basilico, for your hospitality and for the beautiful moments!

One of the few restaurants at the boulevard of Nidri, that don't need bouncers: always people waiting to get a table. That says it all. Really good food, friendly staff. working hard, fast service. Second time we had a really warm goodbye when we left. Worth to get in line for.

Restaurant
Taverna Elena is a charming restaurant with a stunning view of Vliho Bay and Mount Elati. The location on the quiet Geni peninsula offers picturesque scenery, especially when dining at tables over the water. The staff, including Kostas, are known for their warm hospitality and excellent service. They are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations for food and drinks. Visitors praise the delicious Greek cuisine, particularly the fresh grilled fish and vegetarian options.
great place in vlijo bay. they valet your dinghy. beautiful sunset views. amazing good food. very fresh. never had a bad dish. we're going back tomorrow night! we've had the grilled calamari, risotto, sea bass carpaccio, greek salad (of course), dolmadakia and souvlaki. all delicious. definitely recommend.
Danny J — Google review
From the first moment we stepped into the restaurant we were absolutely delighted. The service was exceptional and the waiters very kind and friendly. The food is very tasty and fresh. Lobster pasta was our favourite.
Sladjana J — Google review
We spent 35 € por person and we ate a very good and fresh fish. The location is so beautiful in front of the sea and the service was good too. Totally a positive experience, we raccomand this restaurant.
Fabiola C — Google review
We ordered a sea bass fillet with potato salad (menu price: €22) and sardines. The waiter explained that sardines weren't available and offered us sea bass for both of us, saying he'd make it for us. We received grilled sea bass (so far, so good) and french fries, which we hadn't ordered. We politely asked to exchange them for potato salad (as described on the menu), but they brought us small, cold, unseasoned boiled potatoes. Surprise: over €70! For a fish, four potatoes, and two glasses of house wine. CRAZY. We also had to wait a quarter of an hour to get out of the parking, because other customers had parked, blocking the way. The staff, instead of apologizing for this inconvenience, told us it wasn't their fault. My only negative experience in Greece was at this restaurant; not all tourists deserve to be ripped off.
Francesca M — Google review
Nice seaside location, warm welcome from the staff. Very nice and abundant portions, filled with the heart, especially the feta cheese with honey. Fair prices given the size of portions. Plenty of room but must be getting busy at night.
Marco O — Google review
Very tasty. Nice view directly on the water. Prices OK. Only 2 remarks in the food: Spaghetti bologna - too spicy Fish on the grill comes with a sauce with too strong taste. Ruined the fish a bit. So... ask for sauce on the side with the grilled fish
Yoav R — Google review
One of the best restaurants not only in Lefkada, but in Greece! The fish was one of the best we have ever eaten! This place is a must! The atmosphere is authentic! 10/10
Kalina D — Google review
There were 3 of us. We tried steamed mussels, pasta with mussels and sardines. The mussels were not fresh. Probably frozen and refrozen. The pasta was heated and probably had been prepared in the morning. The fish was fresh but a bit bland. They didn't serve garlic, polenta and it didn't have any aromatic herbs. It was simply put on the grill and that was it. The service was fast and the staff very friendly. The location and view are exceptional.

Mediterranean restaurant
Nissi Mediterranean Kuzina is a contemporary taverna located off Nissis main square, offering a smart menu of well-executed Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant provides ample outdoor seating for people-watching and occasionally offers complimentary homemade profiteroles. It is recommended to dress nicely and consider it as an option for a date night.
NISSI Mediterranean Kuzina was one of the culinary highlights of our trip! The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and creatively presented. Every dish we tried was a delight, especially the seafood and the local twists on Mediterranean classics. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely cared for. A perfect spot for a relaxed yet refined dining experience in Lefkada. Highly recommended!

I recommend the place. You can feel the real Greek hospitality there. The food was very good. We tried the fresh fish and the mussels. Which I liked very much. It is big place so large parties can easily gather.
Nikolay S — Google review
Food below average. Fried zucchini too salty, the calamari was so oily and dry that I had to stop eating and leave the rest on the plate and the 50€ sea food platter...just no. I'm talking strictly about the food served and not about the service which was good.
Pradatu C — Google review
Well, maybe we expected too much, but beef stifado, meet, was dry. Tomato sos on it was nicely season but meet was overcooked or something. Potatos ok, not best not worst. We ordered pasta with shrimps, not sesoned at all, okeish. Portions are ok.
Goran M — Google review
We managed to catch a really good size bluefish and the staff was so excited to cook the fish. The results were amazing. Very tasty!!! The food that we ordered besides the fish was also amazing!!! I would definitely come here again.
Denis M — Google review
Nissi was, without a doubt, the culinary highlight of our Lefkada vacation. Perfectly situated in the heart of Lefkada's central square. The food is simply amazing. From the exquisite mushroom soup and carpaccio to the impressive two-person mixed grill overflowing with various meats and handmade lemonades. After such a satisfying meal, we were ready to call it a night, but the wonderful hostess Olga wouldn't hear of it! She graciously insisted we enjoy a complimentary dessert, personally ensuring it was small in size. Olga is more than just a hostess; she's charming, articulate, and clearly well-traveled, making for a truly enjoyable conversation after our meal. Nissi was undoubtedly one of the true highlights of our trip.
Mathias D — Google review
Fantastic food! The appetisers were phenomenal, and the tuna steak just cooked perfectly medium. I highly recommend this place! Staff could have been a bit faster, but it was also quite busy.
Diego M — Google review
Early dinner. Very tasty food. Tatziki, fried feta with honey (outstanding), calamari and mousaka were great. Ceasar's salad not so great. Staff was efficient, professional and quick. Prices are slightly higher compared to other places (of course, it is a main square location) - tourists prices. Would definately recommend, considering quality

Monato da gusto is a sophisticated and modern restaurant located at Kathisma beach, offering a unique sunset view. The restaurant's decor perfectly complements its natural surroundings. It serves dishes from the New Greek Cuisine, blending tradition with contemporary creative trends. Guests have praised the stunning sea views and sunsets, as well as the high-quality breakfasts featuring fresh produce.
By far best food option at Kathisma beach. Amazing food and taste experience, menu is very detailed presented by very professional and well educated staff. Unique atmosphere specially during sunsets. If you are looking for traditional tavern with souvlaki and mousaka, just pass by. Try to taste the “Monato food experience” and live atmosphere vibes.

Monato is more than just a restaurant — it’s a feeling. With breathtaking views over the sunset-kissed coast and a menu that speaks the language of fresh Greek flavors, every moment here becomes a memory. But what truly makes the experience unforgettable is the warmth of the people — especially Penelop, our wonderful waitress. Sweet, attentive, and always with a genuine smile, she added a personal touch to every detail, making us feel not like guests, but like friends. From the perfectly grilled octopus to the crisp local wine, everything was spot-on. The vibe? Relaxed, romantic, with music just soft enough to let the sea whisper in the background.

Hidden gem! We just wanted a bite to eat after the beach and decided to try this place. I have to say, it’s been a long time since I’ve had food this good. The dishes are really original, incredibly fresh, and easily compare to a fine dining experience. The service was very professional, with a warm and friendly team, and a host who was clearly knowledgeable. She explained every dish in detail, recommended some amazing wines that paired beautifully, and made us feel completely at home. As for the atmosphere, it was wonderfully relaxed. Soft music in the background, flowers and green all around, and a stunning view of the sea. This is the kind of dining experience you secretly hope for every time you walk into a restaurant. Thank you! Also, If they still have it on the menu when you visit, the beef cheeks are an absolute must-try.

The food was good but rather pricey. There were interesting and new things for me in the menu. I liked the tarama and the eggplant salad. The fish of the day was very good but the side dish I didn’t like. Very nice sunset view if you go for dinner. The service was also vey good

Luckily, we discovered this hidden gem! 💎 This restaurant has a truly unique way of combining ingredients—you’d never expect them to go together, yet they work perfectly. On top of that, the team is incredibly friendly and attentive. We’re absolutely thrilled and have already visited several times. Our meals can best be described like this: “Oh my God! Delicious! Wow! Mmmmhh” 😄 Huge compliments to the entire team! Warm greetings from the German couple — especially to the sweet German-speaking waitress who could read our wishes before we even said a word! This mountaintop eatery is known for its farm-to-table menu that highlights fresh, organic ingredients and promises a delightful culinary experience.
We haven’t been coming to this restaurant when it was super small and tiny, and now it’s massive. We have never been disappointed, and it never disappoints. The owners are incredible. The staff is amazing. The service is impeccable, and the food is out of this world. I can’t say enough about this place we come back every year as often as many times as we can. Amazing dinner or drinks place to see the sunset with 360 degree views. Such a picturesque place to visit as a couple, friends or a family! Arrive just around 7pm to see the sunset in September!

If you are a paragliding pilot, don’t come here!!! This place is very popular for tandem paragliding and sunsets. As a paragliding pilot myself, I was both thrilled by the concept and upset by the experience. The idea is great: combining a bar, restaurant, sunset viewing area, and a launch zone to promote paragliding. Unfortunately, the execution is ruined by the staff. At the entrance, instead of a warm welcome, reception people are yelled at with “wait before the line” — even though no line actually exists. This only creates confusion and leaves a bad first impression. The waitress who escorted us to the table did so with an arrogant attitude, as if we were a burden rather than guests. For visiting free-flight pilots, there is absolutely zero information or support. It feels like this place is deliberately unwelcoming to outside pilots who might want to enjoy the launch spot. A wonderful location with a terrible personal attitude — very disappointing.

What an amazing Bar and Restaurant. This place is run like a tight ship. Everything is amazingly managed so as many people as possible can enjoy their time at this beautiful location. The views are just sublime. The food is second to none, probably Michelin star level. The service and hospitality is top notch. Probably visit Lefkada if just for an evening here. Try to get a reservation before sunset and then shift over to the bar. Great DJ and vibes. Parking is also available on the restaurant premises but very limited.
Khizar M — Google review
Absolutely loved the restaurant, view, food, service! Relaxed and chill, fancy but in a hipster..ish way! My favourite from the ones with the amazing view on the island! Food was superb. Reasonable prices - good value for the money! The beetroot salad was amazing, an explosion of flavours, the dish of the day - slow cooked lamb with spinach and some sauce was wonderful! The pavlova dessert with passion fruit and mango was wow! The other dishes ordered by my friends were excellent as well. There is still room for improvement with the restrooms - the staff should visit to ensure it is clean more often! Also, the distance between the free parking and the restaurant is uphill and pretty slippery, so wouldn't recomment wearing hills!

Rachi is a must if you’re in Lefkada. The sunset view is absolutely unforgettable you’re literally dining above the clouds. The food and drinks were great, with a good mix of local flavors and modern touches. Be sure to book in advance, especially if you want one of the front tables with the best views. It gets busy, and for good reason. Perfect spot for a romantic evening or a special night out. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Perched almost at the top of the island, Rachi offers an absolutely epic view — one of the best you’ll find. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a memorable meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The food is very good and still stands out even when compared to other taverns in the area. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and flavorful, showcasing both quality and attention to detail. The service was friendly and efficient, further adding to the pleasant experience. Prices are fair and reflect the level of food, service, and setting you get. Considering the location and overall experience, I found it to be well worth it. I definitely liked it and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Rachi is a lovely place with great views, but our experience had a few downsides. 😕There was a misunderstanding with our reservation date, likely due to multiple email changes, but luckily they still found us a table. The waitress was kind, and the blankets offered were a nice touch, as it gets chilly in the evening. Unfortunately, we missed the sunset and found the food to be overly salty — all four of us agreed, though the presentation was beautiful.🤩 We appreciated the complimentary rose wine shots at the end. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience for us, but we hope to return and enjoy it more next time.🤞🏻

Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent food and friendly staff. I recommend it. Long live the chef!

Nice place. I think my hopes were too high, the chicken was quite dry, this squid was nice but very tough and chewy. The honey feta was def the highlight and the octopus was quite nice. Would go back and try something else because there was a nice overall ambience.

Great fish restaurant with generous portions at very low prices. The place is quiet, cool, and perfect for a relaxing meal. Highly recommended

Everything is just right here. I've rarely experienced such a good atmosphere. The chef is very friendly, and the waiters are all young and know what they're doing. Bravo, keep it up.

Nestled in one of Lefkada's most picturesque villages, Lefkatas Taverna is a culinary gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. Just a stone's throw from stunning beaches like Porto Katsiki and Egremni, this charming tavern invites you to savor the breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea while enjoying your morning coffee paired with homemade marmalades and delightful pies.
My kids and I spent 4 nights in the village of Athani on Lefkada and had the pleasure of dining at this gem of a place every night. The owner, Phillip, is an amazing human who was so accommodating and generous with his advice and assistance during our stay, and on top of that, the food each night was incredible. We each had something different each night and every dish was exceptional. Great views, great wine, delicious meals and unforgettable Greek hospitality made this vacation (and return to my roots) one that we will never forget. Thank you for everything!

We had a great dinner at Lefkatas. The food is excellent. The view over the valley and sea is fantastic. Zucchini balls are the best we have tried in Greece. Not to be missed.
Marianna V — Google review
The best place to eat on the island. Amazing food - authentic Greek cuisine and the tastiest sea food we tried so far. The view was stunning and the staff was so nice and polite. Definitely recommend.
Yoanna D — Google review
When we arrived, we weren’t allowed to sit at a table with a sea view because it was “reserved.” However, during the 1.5 hours we stayed, no one showed up for that table and the other terrace tables became empty — yet we were left in the corner with a view of an old house and a pole. The beefsteak was excellent, but the Greek pastitsio from the daily menu was reheated and disappointing. Overall poor rating due to service.

A dreamy Greek taverna in Lefkada! 🏝️ Everything was perfect — fresh ingredients from their own garden 🌿, delicious food, impeccable service, and an AMAZING staff ❤️. A place that will stay in our hearts — we highly recommend it!

Best authentic greek food! Delicious and clean cuisine. And the service was also excellent. The waiter was very polite and friendly!

In 2024 and again in 2025 we have been attending this restaurant. Food is very tasty and high-quality, staff is very friendly, and the owner really cares about this place. Despite we live in 30 driving from this place, we still choose to drive there to have great food rather than visiting some places closer to us. Really recommend!

The location is perfect - over standing the sunset over the sea. However neither the service nor the food stand up to it. Service is chaotic, forgetful. Food is ok- has good looks, but lacks taste.

We often come to VYC with friends for lunches, dinners, or simply for drinks. The ladies working there are very attentive, and the venue itself is great. I can highly recommend for a night out. The daily specials are usually very tasty and exciting. The normal menu is also enjoyable. Fair prices, and always an enjoyable time spent!

We stayed for drinks and ordered take away. There was an extra drink added to our bill but easily ratified. The banoffee pie excellent ,pizza was good, but they forgot that we asked for no onions. We went back the next day for coffee and it was delicious.

Best english breakfast i had in Lefkada. They have a terrace near the boats, with a very nice view. The service was very good and fast.
Alexandra M — Google review
Food is mediocre, especially considering we're in Greece. Average UK pub kind of stuff. The only reasons for people to go here are 1. There's nothing else close by and 2. You are a Brit who needs their fill of British mediocrity amidst the Greek options. The staff are lovely for the most part, but that doesn't extend to the owners. Both are as miserable and rude as you can get while receiving this much sunshine. Must be missing the beautiful British weather. Thanks to them the atmosphere is completely soiled. Also would be nice if they solved their wasp problem as they're in everyone's plates the second they're brought out this time of year.

Preveza International Airport

Airport
Aktion International Airport is a small and tranquil airport with limited but adequate shops and restaurants. It offers a pleasant and efficient experience, featuring new facilities such as check-in desks, parking, restrooms, ramps, and duty-free shops. The airport is well-maintained with friendly staff and clean facilities. Despite occasional flight delays and restrictions on gate access, it provides a smooth journey for travelers.
Updated visit May 2025: I've been through this airport a few times and always trouble free experience. The airport itself is being expanded. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you again 🙏 2024: Travelling with restricted movement on crutches. I could not have wished for better help and support. Thank you to all the staff. You made a difficult journey easy 🙏
Neil W — Google review
Two stars for the staff only for their professionalism and patience! The airport facilities after security check are too small to accommodate passengers of 6 flights (half of them delayed) at the same time, in July. Not enough and cramped seating, lack of space in service/shopping areas. FRAPORT, you can do much better!
A K — Google review
It's a small but clean airport with limited flights, so there's only a small Duty-Free shop and two dining options. The staff are very friendly, and the toilets are spotless. The air conditioning is excellent, which was a relief on my 32-degree departure from Preveza. Water is reasonably priced at €0.60. I also love the outdoor seating with fans and shade so that you haven’t got to be crammed into a tight, hot corridor like other airports. I would recommend flying from here!
Alex C — Google review
Nice small airport. Clean, great customer service. Refurbished, tidy and organised.
Kostas P — Google review
This airport is way too small for the numbers of visitors it gets and definitely needs an expansion , but staff is doing their best to finish quickly . Not many destinations but very convenient for a lot of places in western Greece.
Iri N — Google review
The service at this airport needs to improve. The ground attendant informed us that we had missed our flight because the ticketing counters were closed, and sent us to look for a hotel and another flight in a week, because there were no flights, while the passengers had not yet boarded the plane and the gate had not even opened. Thanks to another, more experienced attendant, who called our airline contact, they were able to get us in quickly and did everything they could to get us to the plane. All the panic could have been avoided if the young attendant had checked herself before sending the passengers to look for another flight. Also, even a small airport needs an open SIM card booth at the entrance, especially when you arrive on an evening flight and there are no shops open in the city, and an information booth.
אדמית פ — Google review
Arrived 11pm, airport was not busy. Quite small. Friendly staff. Easy to navigate. Bag drop was quick. Plenty car rental services. Arrived at our Lefkadas destination in 30m. Perfect
Darren C — Google review
One star for good clean toilets. At departure, our plane hasn't even arrived yet, they made us all go through the gate and wait outside on the side of the airfield for 30 minutes as the plane landed and was being prepared. There are no charging points or toilets there. Also we were bitten hundreds of times by swarms of mosquitoes. Why treat customers like literal cattle, keeping them in a paddock to be bitten by mosquitoes, when we could have waited in the comfort of the air conditioned gate waiting area?! I am allergic to mosquito bites so will now have to be on medication for a few days. Absolutely the worst.

Corfu International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias"

International airport
Airport
Corfu International Airport, also known as Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport, is located just 3km south of Corfu Town and serves both domestic and international flights. The airport offers a spectacular view upon landing, making it worth booking a window seat for the experience. Travelers can easily reach the heart of Corfu Town within minutes by taking the airport bus upon arrival.
Small but surprisingly efficient airport. Arrival was a breeze with about six people at passport control at almost midnight. Departure was smooth asides from the long queues which is honestly to be expected this time of the year. Check in initially only had one person but eventually another joined so that went quick as well. Asides from the lack of drinking water fountains, no faults at all!
Ebun O — Google review
Our flight home from a cruise left us in a state of shock after going through Corfu Airport which is clearly far too small to handle the number of passengers. After baggage drop and security you’re led into what feels like the main departure area with shops, restaurants and gates but with no warning that there’s another massive queue still to come for Passport Control with a long zigzag stanchion barrier leading to the passport booths at one end. Even as seasoned travellers, this caught us completely off guard. There were no officials and no clear guidance, just a chaotic line stretching well beyond the shops and restaurants. It took us another 45 minutes to get through, and it would be all too easy to sit waiting by your gate thinking you were done, only to miss your flight because of the hidden queue at passport control. The whole process was exhausting. On top of that, there’s no provision for fresh drinking water. I eventually went cap in hand to Starbucks, where a rather disgruntled lady filled my bottle with lukewarm water the only thing to keep me going for a three-hour flight home. In short, it was queues from start to finish: baggage drop, security, passport control, even to get through duty-free, to the gate, the bus to the plane [when we had to stand next to a stinking skip of rubbish in 30 degree heat], and finally boarding itself. By the time we took off, we were utterly shattered. The whole experience felt dismal and designed to make passengers feel awful, overwhelmed and totally uncared for, awful experience and no, I don't want to spend £10 on a bar of chocolate or £6 for a coffee! Just terrible!

small airport with various food outlets and a large duty free. smooth security check and in ten fifteen minutes you get through. bar and restaurant prices as always high. there is a pizzeria, starbucks, burger king, various cafes and also a restaurant with Greek gyros and local products.

What time did the airport realize it was raining and thundering? The weather forecast was clear. I'd never seen an airport so crowded. People were standing, sitting, and lying everywhere. We stood in several long lines only to be told the same thing as everyone else - our flight was postponed until the next day, and we had to find our own accommodation and transfers. The airline should have arranged something for us, but of course, it couldn't, so the airport was packed with people (including small children) sleeping wherever they can. Our flight was delayed, the total delay was 15h, we spent the night on the floor, the flight was postponed several times. The food stalls are closed - there was nothing left several hours ago anyway. No food vouchers, no bottles of water, no staff to ask for anything. A ruined end to our vacation, the worst airport experience. The best job was done by the cleaning staff, the restrooms and the airport looked very good considering the crowd.
Agata — Google review
Small airport, only limited options to buy anything behind security. Security still enforces the 100ml rule (which is not the case in modern airports) for "jelly substances", so they forced us to throw out several quite expensive olive pastes (200g packages) - even though we had receipt and it was originally packed.
Jan D — Google review
Terrible airport. Too small for the amount of people passing through. Security and Passport control absolutely ridiculously busy. Queues snaking around the whole departure area. Noisy, hot and chaotic. 3 hour wait in a crowd to get through passport control. No organisation. People missing flights. Worst airport experience of all time.
D. A — Google review
A centrally located airport in Corfu which has almost all facilities to welcome the guests. It is not far from the main city center and there is public transportation next to the airport. Taxies are always available. The airport is clean and has restaurants and Duty free shops. Our check in process was very smooth and got our luggages in time.
Mrinal H — Google review
This is unacceptable! Security check staff are strictly doing their job. That is perfect, absolutely no complaints there. What I don't like is the 1 liter bags that fit 400ml of liquid products that I have and there is no space for anything else. So tell me how is 1 liter = 0.4 liter? The products aren't even odd-sized. The size of the bags definitely has to be revised. And some airports are starting to allow liquids up to 2 liters. At least provide bags that fit 1 liter of products and not 400 mililiters. You have to be a total idiot if you think a bag that can contain 1 liter of liquid without any packaging will gather 1 liter of liquids with packaging.

Αεροδρόμιο Κεφαλονιάς «Άννα Πολλάτου» (Kefalonia Airport “Anna Pollatou”)

International airport
Kefalonia International Airport Anna Pollatou is a charming gateway to the stunning Ionian island of Kefalonia, conveniently situated near Argostoli, the largest city on the island. This small yet efficient airport welcomes over 800,000 travelers each year and operates flights from more than 20 airlines. While it may be modest in size, it offers essential amenities for a pleasant travel experience.
Well organized little airport. Quick security and check in. Slight delays because of the connecting flights from Athens during the high season. Clean toilets.

Nice airport with friendly stuff(especially one brunette with blue eyes that calls herself as Goddess and if you ask her why, she would reply "because I can" hahahah, that's the humor we need in our lives), Airport is small and practical, toilets are also in good condition and the overall experience was good.

Quick check in and the gates are close. Timely baggage retrieval. Duty free and restaurant. Rental cars and bikes very close. * Not sure if it’s the locals or tourists, but as there is minimal seating please remember seats are for people and not bags. 👍🏼
Joshua S — Google review
We last visited Kefalonia Airport 7 years ago prior to the new building - so whilst there are some improvements - toilets / check in desks it is a shame in the redesign they did not factor in a few more catering units - given the thousands of Tarvanas on the Island the lack of catering airside at Kefalonia is staggering - a Q of a couple of hundred people snakes around the departure Lounge. Repeated tannoy messages say that there will be no tannoy announcements for flights but a lack of info boards is again disappointing. Broken travelateors adds to the legacy of the old terminal building. So not a great design for Customers. Will we be back - of course we will - a poorly designed airport more for the convience of staff than customers is a small price to pay.

“Small but Smooth – A Great Gateway to Paradise” I recently traveled through Kefalonia Airport and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and efficient the experience was. While it’s a relatively small regional airport, it’s well-equipped and functions perfectly for a relaxed island like Kefalonia. What I Loved: • Speed & Simplicity: The arrival and departure process was quick and easy. No long queues, and the baggage claim was fast. • Clean & Modern: The terminal is recently renovated and feels modern, bright, and clean. • Friendly Staff: Everyone from the security staff to the check-in agents was courteous and helpful. There’s a warm Greek hospitality vibe throughout. • Great Views: The landing approach is stunning, flying low over the sparkling Ionian Sea and green hills. What Could Improve: • Limited Facilities: Don’t expect a huge selection of shops or restaurants—there’s a small café and a duty-free area, but that’s about it. • Transport Options: Taxis are available, but pre-booking a rental car or transfer is highly recommended due to limited public transport. Final Thoughts: Kefalonia Airport may not be the biggest or flashiest, but it’s efficient, clean, and fits the relaxed charm of the island perfectly. Whether arriving or leaving, it’s a smooth and stress-free experience—just what you need when traveling to or from such a beautiful destination.

A lovely well run little Airport. Good facilities, efficient staff and no queues.
Steven O — Google review
Nice small airport, easy to navigate around with tremendously helpful Jet2 staff (helped us loads with special assistance). Beware the hard seats if you get delayed though and the main cafe in arrivals after security doesn't offer a huge amount for the youngest of travellers (e.g. for food & nappies which affected one family). Fresh pastries (sweet and savoury) are lovely. Not always cheap...
Daniel C — Google review
The airport opened in 1971 to serve the former municipality Leivatho with improved transportation links; Kefalonia is now a single municipality. A new runway and the current terminal building were constructed in the 1980s. The State Airport of Kefalonia Anna Pollatou (IATA: EFL , ICAO: LGKF , ΥΠΑ: ΚΑΚΦ ) is located in N -NW part of Kefalonia, 10 km from the capital of Kefalonia, Argostoli, and is named after the Olympian winner Anna Pollatou, who was so tragically lost.
