We had to stop pretty far away because we were on a cruise ship L.E. Went later in the week again by car, parking 10€ but as far as I know you can go to the bar & they’ll give you 2 soft drinks or 4 water bottles so it’s nice. The beach was not very crowded, pretty chill but the sea was a little mad because of the wind, big waves so we were not allowed to go into the water sadly
Epic views, spacious beach with colder than usual waters. Expect it to be extra crowded during high season. A victim of its own success. I visited during a weekend in mid August, after 18⁰⁰ and it was epic.
Beautiful beach, was not that crowded. The access is easy by car or motorcycle and the parking fee was 2€. The water was warm and waves not that big, so you could also swim safely.
My favorite beach on the whole island. Parking is 10 euro but is near the beach. The water is turquoise. It’s a big beach and even with a lot of people is not so full. Food available near the parking lot. You can see a lot of small beautiful fishes if you like diving. I was there in the end of September.
Mesmerizing! The parking is 10 euro, there is a place to eat, plenty of spots to park your car. We went off season and the beach was not overcrowded. The water was cristal clear. The beach itself was also very clean.
One of the prettiest beaches (if not the best on the island). You can park for free on the road, as many people do, parking is 10€ nearby but it gets crammed. The beach gets crowded but you can always find spot. There are no sunbeds to rent (late September). The stairs are not difficult to use, and many people are stopping on them to take pictures of the beach.
Stunning beach with the most blue water I have seen anywhere in the world! Pay for parking in the lot about 10 euros or free parking just outside of the area. The drive was windy and narrow but incredibly cool! Don’t go too fast and risk it. Food and drinks are sold before you go down to the beach, there are no services available on the beach itself.
End of season perfect shore, came here in the afternoon and didn't need shade, probably better to bring it in high season... Beautiful with magical waters

It s a beautiful place but there was no water at all, so we did not see a water fall.
Very nice and climatic place. You need to walk around 10-15 minutes to reach the place from the parking place. There is a lot of people be aware. I had a plan to get into the water while being there, but when I reached the destination I decided not too. The waterfall is too small (not enough rain) and water is simply dirty as there is not enough to run fast.
Depending on the season, you should expect to see different views and experiences. When I visited the cascade in summer, there was little to no water flow. However, the 10-minute walk through the gorge to reach the cascade was still very pleasant and absolutely worthwhile. Swimming is still possible, although the water is quite cold. At the entrance of the gorge, there’s a lovely café shaded by a huge plane tree, which I highly recommend for relaxing after the short trek. When you visit come with seaside shoes or sport shoes. Small kids can reach with some assistance from the parents. Parking is available near the café, but spots are limited. Depending on the time of day and season, finding a space can range from easy to a bit challenging—so plan accordingly.
It was a great experience overall and everything there was really nice. However, reaching the top was quite challenging—there were no clear visual paths, some rocks were falling from above, and of course, the little water that was there was freezing cold. Still, if you’ve got the stamina to make it, I definitely recommend visiting this place 100%!
The day that we visited the waterfalls didn’t have the chance to see the beauty that have been described about ( first week of August) due to lack of rain in the past few months, but the path that you have to follow to get there is wonderful. Almost fully covered with great shadows of the surrounding trees is recommended through the hot day hours. There is a wonderful coffee-bar that serves local refreshments, small snacks coffees and more , as well as a small shop with local products ( honey , marmalade and small gifts for loved ones!!!)
A short easy hike but be careful what time of year you will choose to visit as in the summer the waterfall might be completely dry.
A beautiful hike.. but don’t go in August, as you willl have to leave it to your imagination. No water..
For an experience is ok, but there is a poor waterfall.. but again for experience going there is worth for view

Beautiful turquoise water, very atmospheric with small rocks. Tourist boats do not stop here, which is a positive. If you want, you can rent a sunbed. There are bars, showers, and for small children there is a pool next to the bar. Of course, you have to see the famous beaches once, but Kathisma is a great beach for a day at the beach.
A very nice beach. The water was very nice and warm. Parking was free on the side of the road and there was plenty of space for public or private beach. It is worth a visit here.
Incredible beach with all shades of blue color water of the sea. Waves are large and increasing with each hour until evening. There are restaurants, wc, parking and shower , umbrella and beds. We took parking under cower with two beds and umbrella 15 euro all. On the beach there is savior. On the sea must be careful, beach It starts with sand - finely ground pebbles, and then large stones in the water. You must go to the water without everything- sunglasses, shoes , hat, because everything will change and you won't notice . On this beach you do not need swimming mask . Magnificent picture all around there. The horizon is incredibleand so endless.
A Slice of Heaven on Earth A place that feels like it’s straight out of heaven, where the crystal-clear, clean water refreshes your senses, and the beach welcomes you with a cozy beach bar and a few charming restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed, full of good vibes and elegance. It’s the kind of experience you simply can’t miss if you’re looking for an unforgettable escape.
Beautiful beach, but very crowded in the season. There is almost always wind and waves, so you can forget about the heat. This beach is not for non-swimmers and small children. It is recommended to try paragliding.
Most easiest access to the beach with all comforts when you choose between Egremni, Porto Katsiki and Katishma. Also includes beach clubs, restaurants and different activities 😊
Kathisma is one of the most beautiful beaches on Lefkada and definitely worth visiting. The beach is long and wide, with plenty of space to find a good spot. Sunbeds are around 20€ for the ordinary ones, or 25€ for the wooden set with parking included, which is very convenient since parking can get busy in high season. The beach itself has small smooth pebbles instead of sand, which makes the water crystal clear. After just a few steps it gets deeper, so be careful if you’re not a strong swimmer. The waves are usually big and fun, great for people who enjoy a bit of adventure in the sea. There are also water sports available for those looking for more activities. Restaurants and bars are located right by the beach, offering food and drinks throughout the day. Overall, it’s a lively beach with good facilities, beautiful scenery, and a bit of everything – relaxation, fun, and comfort.
Sky blue waters, The water was murky and the mask didn't work. The beach was fine sand and for some like me it is not comfortable. You can bring your own umbrella or you can pay sunbeds. There was a lot of free parking but also private parking 5€/day. You need to get up early 9-9.30am to be at the place if you are looking for free :) The locals told me that you have to be carefoul when its windy and there are bid waves bcs some people has lost their lives! Meanwhile you can do paragliding there. Bars and restaurants was close by.

Beautiful beach with 400 extreme stairs! The colors of the sea are absolutely stunning and the beach is not so crowded. The umbrella is absolutely necessary! The timing of leaving the beach must be when it’s cooler because of the high temperatures, 3 or 4 PM is not a great idea 😊
We gave it 4 stars only because getting to the beach is a bit challenging: it’s about a 1.5 km steep walk down from the parking area, followed by 400 steps. Make sure to bring only the essentials, as you’ll need to carry everything back up. That said, I can confidently say the beach is absolutely worth the effort! It’s incredibly beautiful and looks different depending on the time of day — soft and calm in the early morning, and sparkling under the midday sun. The water is a magical color, and there are very few people around. The beach is made of medium-sized pebbles (same with the seabed), but it’s still comfortable to relax on a mat. Definitely bring an umbrella, as there’s no natural shade to hide from the sun.
The beach is totally overated, the road to get here and back is horrible, 2 kilometers walking on serpentines and after the big surprise, 400 stairs, to get to a crowded beach with no spectacular view. Useless for snorkeling. The only great thing about this beach is the view from up the mountain.
Amazing beach with big waves. The road to the beach was challenging, because the asphalt road was closed so you could only go by foot and then you had to go down a bunch of stairs. Totally worth it !
What a beach, absolutely stunning! Getting there does require some effort though: be prepared for a 1.5 km walk downhill, and the same uphill on the way back. There’s a small café just before the white stairs, but I’d recommend bringing your own snacks or food. Sunbeds are available, though limited. The beauty of the place is well worth it, and swimming is especially pleasant thanks to the small stones in the water.
Stunning beach with unrealistically vibrant waves and colors! However, getting there is quite a challenge: a 1.5-kilometer road with a 20% incline, followed by 400 steps down to the shore. I highly recommend bringing sea shoes, as the beach is covered with small pebbles and the waves can get very high.
Walking there and the stairs is not easy. Not good for older people or too fat. But the beach is the best i have seen. Great water, great view. Make sure you have sun protection and lots of water. Go early in the morning. . Parking 10 euro walking 1300 meters plus 400+ stairs. Very hard especially in the sun but worthwhile.
Parking is 10 euros. They help you with parking. The beach is beautiful, paradise-like, never overcrowded. The water is an incredible color and crystal clear. It gets deeper quickly. You have to use a parasol. There is no shade on the beach. There is a toilet in a café about 200 meters from the top of the stairs. Many people are put off by the long walk and the stairs, but if you are in Lefkada, you should not miss this. It is a beautiful and unforgettable experience.

The path to the beach is quite demanding – make sure to wear sturdy shoes. It's about a 1 km walk through the forest on a rough and uneven trail. Once you reach the beach, don't expect any facilities – there's absolutely nothing there. The sea is warm, and the sun is scorching with no shade at all. A sun umbrella is a must if you plan to stay for a while.
Beautiful beach. Walking path is about 20min. There are sunbeds and umbrellas but also a lot of free space to relax. Aqua shoes are recommended to enter the water. No WC, only a small pavilion for drinks, ice cream and some snacks.
An incredibly beautiful beach — just as stunning as the famous Porto Katsiki. I highly recommend visiting it! The beach is never too crowded, and there’s also a section with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. At the far end, you’ll find a nudist area. Parking is free, but you need to arrive by around 10 a.m. to find a spot. From there, it’s a 20–30 minute walk through a mountain forest with both uphills and downhills. If the sea is calm and there are no big waves, you can also reach the parking area by boat (water taxi).
The sunset from this beach is Worth the 20 minutes hike across the steep hill from Agios Nikitas and the trip back in the twilight. There were waves that afternoon but it was a nice change from the east coast calm waters.
The beach is really beautiful, water is crystal blue. There were some waves that have not seemed too big, however water taxi was not available that day..so better to maybe ask in the city. Going to beach through woods is doable, better with sneakers. There are some parts that are steep but with few rest stops it's not a problem. There is not toilet, restroom. Snack bar is above the beach.
Beautiful sandy beach ⛱️🏖️ 😍❤️ Perfect view. Perfect water: beautiful, turqouise and clear, little to no waves, sand and little pebbles in the water. You don't need water shoes because the bottom of the sea is smooth and the little bebbles are friendly with the feet. To reach the beach there are 2 options: Option no. 1: This option is about leaving Agios Nikitas by foot and going though the woods directly on the beach. For this option you need to walk and climb on a pathway through the woody hills and go down on some rocky stairs towards the beach so I recommend you to wear sport shoes (or water shoes) with thicker soles instead of slippers/flip flops. I super recommend this option because it's so so so worth the effort. Take care of mosquitos after sunset. The view is spectacular and a little effort compensates for a lazy sunny beach day ☀️ 😎 Option no. 2: You can also take a water taxi from Agios Nikitas if you want the easy way. After 4 pm there is a long queue of people waiting for the water taxi to go back to Agios Nikitas. When the last water taxi arrives they will wisle, this means there will be no other water taxi after it so you better hurry up to jump on the boat for the last ride. There is a beach bar with frappes and drinks. There is also an area of umbrellas and beach beds with fast food menu. From time to time some guys walk through the beach with water, juices, soda, beers or donuts and pastries. Beautiful 😍❤️ is the best word to describe this beach 🏖️⛱️
Amazing beach with big waves. Given it’s remote location, sunbeds cost 2 beds 1 umbrella 40 euros. So either bring your own or be prepared. The road to the beach is difficult terrain so be prepared with bad terrain shoes.
Beautiful (pebbly) beach; great coffee; 20-min, strenuous (due surface, elevation and the heat) walk to get to* but well worth the effort. *Or a nice 5€, 5-min boat ride, though often the queue for that takes as long as the walk.

It's a perfect spot for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. Parking near the beach costs €10, but the good part is that you receive a voucher that you can use at the bar. There’s only a small beach bar on-site, so it’s a good idea to bring your own food and plenty of water, especially on hot days. Sunbeds with an umbrella are available for €25 per set.
The beach appears to offer a peaceful escape with comfortable sunbeds for relaxation. A small bar on the beach provides convenient access to refreshing drinks. Additionally, another bar located upstairs presents an opportunity to enjoy sandwiches. These amenities suggest a relaxing and enjoyable experience for visitors. Ultimately, this setup creates a welcoming atmosphere for those seeking a tranquil seaside retreat.
Parking spot - 10€, 2 minutes and 70 stairs till the beach… 😅 perfect water, perfect view…
The prettiest water on Lefkada. Clear water with fish, almost no waves, a bit cold and small beach but worth visiting. There are beach chairs and parasols on the beach for 25e. Also the drinks and food bar. It gets overcrowded later in the afternoon. On the top there is a clean toilet in the morning but people will get it dirty afterwards. The parking is 10e but necessary, as you don’t get access to the beach other way if you go by car. By paying the parking you get 2free drinks from a bar on top. The gate to the beach opens at 9 so don’t go too early. But there is a small patio on the left of the gate for people. Also the beach doesn’t get sun until 10. We went there on the 20th of July.
Lovely Beach with Crystal Clear Water – Worth Returning To We visited this beach three times in one week, and the main reason we kept coming back was the water— absolutely stunning! The shades of blue are mesmerizing, and it's a joy to swim in. The area around the rocks is deeper, making it great for diving, and the rocks themselves are easy to climb. Parking is available for €10, and it includes two soft drinks. There are a few steps to get down to the beach, and a small kiosk on-site offers drinks and some food options — Taxi Boat from Vasiliki port also available to get to the beach. On our first day, we rented an umbrella and sunbeds (€25), but found it too expensive for what was offered. That area got uncomfortably warm with little to no airflow. For the second and third visits, we brought our own umbrella and set up closer to the rocks. It was a much better experience — breezier, more private, and overall more enjoyable. If you’re okay with a bit of a DIY setup and want to enjoy gorgeous water and natural surroundings, this beach is a great choice.
Beautiful beach! Very small so I recommend going early to find a good spot. The parking costs 10€ however they help you find a place, and the receipt gives you 2 free non-alcoholic drinks (fanta, water, frappé, ect.) If you need to rent chairs and an umbrella, it costs 25€ for the set.
Wow place! You must come early - 09:00 - to catch a good spot on the beach & parkng. 80 tough stairs..
Very beautiful, blue water, but hard to get to it, it has stairs you need to use to get to it but it totally worth it. We loved it

Our yacht charter holiday with Nisos was an amazing experience! It was our first charter holiday and the assisted bareboat charter service gave us the confidence to really enjoy our sailing without stressing about mooring and with great, relaxed company. Our yacht 'Maybe' was delightful. She was also immaculately maintained and had everything we needed as a family of three. If you are thinking about a yachting holiday in Greece I would thoroughly recommend going with Nisos. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. And the Ionian is breathtakingly beautiful. We are going back soon! Roddie and Bev.
Unforgettable Sailing Holiday with Nisos – Huge Thanks to Kate, Brian, Sam and Gabby! We’ve just returned from an unforgettable week sailing with Nisos in the Ionian Sea aboard Heart’s Desire, a beautifully maintained 38ft Jeanneau yacht. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish, and the Nisos team really delivered on every level. The boat was in fantastic condition — comfortable, reliable, and a joy to sail. Whether we were mooring in a quiet bay or exploring one of the charming harbours, Heart’s Desire was the perfect home for the week. A special thank you to Sam and Gabby, who were both brilliant throughout. Their help, advice, and friendly support made the trip all the more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. If you're considering a sailing holiday in Greece, we can’t recommend Nisos highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!
Came back from a 2 week bareboat charter, we celebrated our wedding in Lefkada and also had rented their Villa Nisos for our children to stay at. What an amazing experience. We were treated like family. Everyone was extremely helpful and always available for info or support. The charter boat Ugogo was in great condition, rigging well maintained and we also highly appreciated the extra bedding that they provided us with. We also werr welcomed with champagne and aside from our country flags they were so cute and had raised a Just Married one. Which made for tons of great conversations during our trip to the islands. Nisos is very much about safety (which we always appreciate I charter companies) and regardless how much experience you bring they will contact you and inform you about weather changes and suggestions regularly. Also, their technical/mechanical support is only a phone call away. The people at Iris Hotel also were beyond generous with us. We will leave with many find memories made and tears in our eyes.
If you are looking for the best yacht charter in the Ionian, your search is over. I have just retuned from a bareboat charter with Nisos and the whole experience was faultless from start to finish. From the moment of first contact with Rowan in the UK, to the care and attention you are afforded by Laurie, Kate and the team in Nidri, I could not have asked for anything. You are made to feel like one of their team rather than a charter customer. Our yacht was excellent, spotlessly prepared and of such high quality. For anyone seeking some extra support we also bumped into the Nisos ABC crew a couple of times during the holiday. Sam and Gabby are brilliant and will be on hand for that additional reassurance and confidence if you need it. Thanks to all at Nisos, I can’t wait to return.
Just returned from a wonderful week on the Assisted Bareboat Charter option. I had somewhat dated sailing experience, and the rest of my family had not been on a yacht before. Rick and Amy made our lives so easy and ensured that any request or question was quickly answered. The Nisos team are on hand from the moment you arrive in Greece to help. Boat was basically brand new and in fantastic condition when we picked her up. The whole family is already wanting to return next summer. Would not hesitate to recommend Nisos.
We had and incredible holiday chartering an immaculate yacht (Zahra) from Nisos. From the minute we arrived the organisation, care and quality of that clearly drives this company was evident, and remained so until we left. Nisos are a step above the rest and if you want beautifully looked after boats with all the support you may need then I can highly recommend them. We took the ABC option and (again!) were very very well looked after by the lead crew Gabby and Sam who where always there when we needed them. Their calm competent approach kept all the boats safe and sound particularly on the windy days. 5 stars all round - no question about it.
Nisos offer the most amazing service imaginable, enabling perfect memories to be made in the paradise of the Ionian. From the moment you arrive, it is as if you are in the care of family, yet you have the freedom to explore and adventure to your hearts content. From long-lining in secluded coves, to enjoying the delights of unimaginably beautiful harbours with their ubiquitous tavernas, each experience has been indelibly imprinted on our minds. Amazing!
Nothing is too much for anybody at Nisos. From the moment we arrived Nisos provided an exemplary service right up to the moment we left. The attitude is always yes with a smile, what is the issue. Nothing is too difficult. The overriding take home from the week was the friendliness of the team, it was how service used to be many years ago and is so rare today. If you are considering a sailing holiday in the Ionian do consider any other company!! By the way the boats were spotless, very well maintained and definitely fit for purpose.

This is considered one of the most wild nice beaches in Lefkada. Searched by a lot of people who prefer raw beaches and by nudists and naturists. Its nice that it has some free parking on the street and even a restaurant with pool, showers, sunbeds and toilet/restroom. You come down through the restaurant and directly on the beach. I would recommend bringing an umbrella and towels and make your own spot. Its crowded and full of kids at the beginning but on the right side it gets more wild, and after the tents and campers it gets more with nudist people. Towards the right end (near the cliffs) it becomes more gay friendly (mostly couples of men). Very nice place to take a lof of pictures. Expensive food at the “Deck” restaurant. One plate gyros 15 euro, one beer 4euro, but being the only retail place there I guess its worth it.
During high season it is as crowded as the rest of the island, but at other times or early in the morning you can enjoy this beautiful beach. Recommended to visit.
Most underrated beach on Lefkada. Maybe because of sea grass on the beach. Walk over the little hill to the right of the Deck beach pub, and more you walk, you’ll get to the better place.
Maybe the most underrated beach at Lefkada island. Parking is available and is free. You have to take a bit of a walk, but it is still much easier to approach than Egremni beach. Furthermore, even when the waves are big, it's still safer than other beaches, because there's no such big stones. You should have in mind that the right part of the beach is mostly visited by naturists, so if you don't mind - enjoy!
This is the wilder part of Pefkoulia beach - you get down the stairs in front of the Deck bar, turn right and walk until you find the best sport for yourself depending on your personal needs in regards to noise level, proximity to other people and desire to be close (or maybe not!) to amenities like toilets, showers and food. Parking gets tricky when the nearby free parking lot becomes full, so the only option is parking on the main road.
beautiful beach! plenty parking available right next door. We were there towards the end of the season and had absolutely no trouble parking. The beach is a fine pebble beach. comfortable enough to lay on but you can rent sun beds too.
Beautiful crystal clear blue/turquoise water. Depending where you sit, there‘s smaller or bigger rocks. At the bar you can rent an umbrella and sunbed. Parking is free, although can fill up quickly in high season.
The long and best feeling beach with easy access from the road. Litlebit grass in the wather but always waves and good swimming...

One of the best experiences in Lefkada, thanks to Andi Florin Nicolae. The cruise guys are very nice, the places we visited are breathtaking and we even had a beach only for us. The price is low for the memories you’ll have. Totally recommend! ⛴️🛟🩵
We had an amazing experience on the Nidri Star Cruise! The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the crew was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The scenery along the cruise was absolutely stunning, and it was the perfect way to relax and take in the beauty of Greece. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable day on the water!
Had a really nice experience with Nidri Star Cruises. The views along the route were stunning, with plenty of time to swim and enjoy the islands. The crew was friendly and made the trip feel easy and relaxed. The boat was comfortable and clean. Overall, a great way to spend the day in Lefkada — definitely worth doing if you’re here.
Best place to be in Greece, to watch the most beautiful beaches, to swim in there. The drinks and the food was very good. And they do have a great friendly, energetic staff. I was with my family and had the best time. 10/10
🌊 Wonderful Boat Day & Night with Nidri Star – Great Value and Great Vibes We had a truly lovely and enjoyable day on the boat with Nidri Star. The cruise was well-organized, relaxing, and full of beautiful views. Captain Panox was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the trip—his friendly attitude made the experience even better. As a bonus, we were invited to their Tuesday night boat party from 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, completely free of charge since we had joined the day cruise. So for just €40, we got two amazing experiences included—such great value! We were lucky to have a smaller group on board, which made everything feel more comfortable and personal. No crowds, just good music, good company, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in Lefkada and looking for a fun and relaxed way to enjoy the sea!
Amazing experience! Crew and staff where absolutely beautiful! Very professional, helpfull and friendly! We had so much fun and I highly recommend Nidri Star for your cruises.
I choose to go 10/8 cruise with Nidri star 1 and the experience was amazing. The waters was really beautiful and crystal cyan clear color . I thought I was in paradise. The captain very professional on his job and the crew does very good job and they are really friendly and make your day better. I forget to tell about the jd on the boat . The atmosphere was magic and Everyone was danci on boat. You are perfect guys and I will come again for sure!!!
(7 islands trip) Some people wrote that the 5 stars ratings is false, I was affraid but then I had a very good experience, we were in saturday there was enough space for everyone. Staff; the staff was very nice, kind and helpful, captain is funny and the other staff member too, the selling lady was very kind too, they said the information in Greek and English, but they have sings too so you can figure out when to come back. Boat; the boat was clean and kinda big, we were at the downstairs so the motor was a little loud but it was okay the music was not loud maybe a little in upstairs or frontside of the ship ONE IMPORTANT THING IS, THE FRONT LADDER REALLY BAD, NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE ELDERLY OR FOR KIDS but this was the only bad thing I think. Food; the food was delicious but was a little small, maybe a child’s portion but tasted very nice and when you stop at Fiskardo (if you go with that trip, the 7 islands) you can buy some more food, and in the boat there’s a bar where you can buy snacks and drinks. Beaches and the trip; trip started at Vasiliki for us, first beach (Egremni) was really nice but very wavy and was with rocks (beach shoe recommend) (FIRST BEACH NOT FOR KIDS OR ELDERLY TOO) then you go to the next stop (Porto katsiki just for looking) and the next stop is Fiskardo you can go to the town, very nice, next stop is the second beach with small rocks (Itaka) (shoes recommended again) but it’s not wavy at all, (KIDS AND ELDERLY FRIENDLY!) and the next stop is at Papanikolis Cave you go inside with the ship and outside it’s like 10 minutes but the ship goes really inside the cave, very cool but could be little longer, next stop is the scorpions you can’t go really outside it’s like jumping from the boat for like 20 minutes it was cool too and that’s the end because you go back to Nidri to leave some people and then the trip is over and you go back to Vasiliki, the stops could be longer but it’s a very busy trip so I understand we have to get back in time. That’s all I had a good experience with them, thank you! So overall everything was good, price was okay too and maybe bring some hoodie cause it’s windy sometimes.

A Sacred Haven Above Lefkada! High above Lefkada Town, surrounded by pine trees and blessed with panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, the Faneromeni Monastery is a place of peace, beauty, and spiritual depth. As the island’s most important religious site, this monastery is not only a destination for the faithful—but also a tranquil retreat for travelers seeking calm and connection. Dating back to the 17th century, the monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and holds deep significance in local culture. Inside, you’ll find a beautifully maintained church with vibrant frescoes, golden icons, and the gentle scent of incense. Outside, serene gardens, graceful architecture, and a sense of timeless devotion create a truly soothing atmosphere. The view from the monastery is spectacular—rolling green hills, sparkling sea, and the rooftops of Lefkada Town below. There's also a small museum and a mini-zoo, making it a lovely stop for families too. Whether you come for the history, the setting, or a quiet moment of reflection, Faneromeni Monastery offers a soul-stirring experience and a deeper connection to the spirit of Lefkada.
Beautiful place to visit. They have a handful of animals outside which is lovely. Terrapins, birds and more. You can light a candle and walk around, it truly is beautiful. Should you arrive not covered up you can put on a robe, which is helpful. The kids loved looking around 8/9yo, teenagers too, as well as parents; suitable for all ages.
Quiet, peaceful place. Beautiful paintings, beautiful all round in fact. Not so keen on the zoo. Couldn't see why these poor birds and animals needed to be there to demonstrate the ability to live alongside each other. This is truly captivity. HOWEVER the monastery itself and the surroundings are well worth a visit ( whatever your beliefs) - amazingly beautiful. Historic items are pretty amazing too. ENJOY
Very nice monastery, amazing architecture and painting. Church is amazing and has a very nice vice of the area. They also have a nice museum that has very interesting icons and pictures. Such a holly place and definitely worth visiting if ur in the area.
A beautiful and peaceful monastery with stunning views over Lefkada. The grounds are well kept, and the atmosphere is serene – perfect for a quiet stop to reflect and take in the scenery. Inside, the icons and artwork are impressive, and the sense of history is very moving. It’s easily accessible by car and definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring the island.
The grounds are beautifully kept and you can even walk through a mini refuge for small animals. The main church is breathtaking as you walk through. So glad we stopped here
Very beautiful and tranquil. Little museum Full of historical icons and a small zoo too! Also a store where you can purchase religious items.
This monastery was delightful, bonus point for the amazing view and for the animals. It has even a.little museum of ancient religious icon, it was pointed out to me by one of the monks using gestures, since he didn’t speak English

This side of the island is beautiful, hard to reach but the landscape is amazing. All the coast is a bright blue color and the cliffs tower over the long stretch of pristine white sand.
This is a wide-open sandy beach with stunning sunsets, except that in late June it can get very windy in the afternoon with large waves and almost no swimmers for that reason. There were plenty of free parking spots.
Incredibly wavy when we went. Parents been before and said it was perfectly calm, this day it was not. Waves were pretty heavy. But although a stony beach it was beautiful. When we arrived we went for food as it was a long drive. The drive down is very steep and in first/second gear so any one not driving it’s a stunning view. Food was really lovely and the staff were great! Paid for the beds up at the bar above. Sadly that has no toilets which makes no sense as they sell hot drinks and cold drinks. Can go to the toilet at the other one as you arrive, which is for if you use the restaurant, thankfully we went for dinner when we got there and being 8 of us we took up a few tables.
Was not crowded at all, but mostly because we arrived 1 hour before sunset. The waves were quite big, so for our taste, swimming was not an option. The sunset was beautiful. The road to the beach is curvy, so going by scooter might not have been the best idea.
The road to the beach is quite tricky and steep, which is a downside. Apart from that, the beach itself is wonderful! You can either bring your own things or rent two sunbeds with an umbrella for €15. When hungry, there are two charming spots nearby where you can grab a meal or just a drink. The beauty of the water is truly amazing.
A beautiful beach, though quite rocky, which makes the waves in the sea a bit stronger. It’s usually not too crowded. There is free parking, and you can rent sunbeds — regular ones for €15 and soft ones for €40. You can also call a waiter directly to the beach and order from the nearby café.
So much more relaxing than Porto Katsiki! Nice long beach with lots of room to roam allowing for plenty of space between you and your neighbors. Great for strolling along the beach without running into crowds of people! 🤙 Free parking along the road with a restaurant and restrooms. Be careful and wear water shoe bc just beyond the waves, there are larger rocks that will jam your feet and toes!
Hidden gem. One of the best beaches after Mylos. Easy access. Free parking. Beautiful water. And surprisingly not crowded. One of the best overall beach experiences we had in Lefkada. ☕️: Medusa Cafe has delicious Freddo Cappuccinos and the chicken club was perfect after enjoying the sun

Very beautiful and small beach, umbrellas and sun beds 14€. Free parking, and such a clean water. Very cold on june 16th, but bright clear!
Just arrived at the beach. It started to get crowded but this is not new in Greece. Clear water and good for young children. Not very deep. Clean everywhere. Free parking offered from the bar. The bar here with a pleasant service. Toilets clean. Ok, there are some intelligent drivers parking on the roundabout (the ones in the picture), but what can you do…
The sea here is absolutely stunning — the water is unbelievably beautiful, and this was the only beach where we saw fish while swimming. The downside is that it gets very crowded, with people lying almost right next to each other. Sunbeds are available to rent for €14. There’s free parking, but if you want a spot (and a good place on the beach), you need to arrive before 10 a.m. Overall, it’s a wonderful beach for families with children.
This is a nice small beach, so you need to arrive early to get a sunbed. The water is calm and great for swimming, and there’s a terrace where you can order both drinks and food. Free parking is available very close by. The price is around €14 for two sunbeds, which is reasonable considering the facilities.
A beautiful little beach with crystal-clear waters and a calm, relaxed atmosphere. It’s well organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a taverna right by the beach for food and drinks. The setting is stunning, surrounded by rocky cliffs and turquoise water – perfect for swimming and relaxing. A bit off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the trip if you’re in Lefkada.
Clean water, smal beach, good road, free parking, pubs with drinks and sununbrellas...Good to visit afternoon
Really nice beach, accessible with car park near by and a cafe/shop for water and snacks. Also good for snorkelling. Only negative is the ground on the beach is a bit muddy and our towels for dirty! But maybe we should have got a lounger. Would visit again
The beach was nice, clean water and only a few cigarette buts in the sand/stones. The people that had the umbrellas set for a price if you wanted to use them took a huge part of the beach meaning people like me that wanted to go settle with only their stuff had only a few tiny spots. It was generally a nice experience but only if you would pay for an umbrella and somewhere to sit.

Α must visit! Papanicolis cave was the place where the Papanicolis submarine used to hide from the German submarines in World War 2. The cave is big with a small shore. Better to go there with calm see as the swell makes it difficult to approach. Also go early (before 10am) if you can, to avoid congestion.
Nice cave. Saw a lot of swallows. They poop though so watch out!
Very nice cave and perfect to swim in. Was happy to visit it with Ionian star daily cruise from Lefkada.
Always a quick stop in the cave when sailing. It's nothing spectacular but a nice visit. Some shallow rocks in the middle if you travel by dingy.
The best, you cannot miss this.
Nice to see when you go there with your biat
Big beautiful cave. It can be reached only by water (big or small boats). It is a historical landmark as during WWII 1941-1942 a submarine hid in the water in this cave. There are boat tours that take you to this cave. The boat will stay only for few minutes to take some pictures.
Must visit and swim into the cave if you are there

By far best food option at Kathisma beach. Amazing food and taste experience, menu is very detailed presented by very professional and well educated staff. Unique atmosphere specially during sunsets. If you are looking for traditional tavern with souvlaki and mousaka, just pass by. Try to taste the “Monato food experience” and live atmosphere vibes.
Monato is more than just a restaurant — it’s a feeling. With breathtaking views over the sunset-kissed coast and a menu that speaks the language of fresh Greek flavors, every moment here becomes a memory. But what truly makes the experience unforgettable is the warmth of the people — especially Penelop, our wonderful waitress. Sweet, attentive, and always with a genuine smile, she added a personal touch to every detail, making us feel not like guests, but like friends. From the perfectly grilled octopus to the crisp local wine, everything was spot-on. The vibe? Relaxed, romantic, with music just soft enough to let the sea whisper in the background.
Hidden gem! We just wanted a bite to eat after the beach and decided to try this place. I have to say, it’s been a long time since I’ve had food this good. The dishes are really original, incredibly fresh, and easily compare to a fine dining experience. The service was very professional, with a warm and friendly team, and a host who was clearly knowledgeable. She explained every dish in detail, recommended some amazing wines that paired beautifully, and made us feel completely at home. As for the atmosphere, it was wonderfully relaxed. Soft music in the background, flowers and green all around, and a stunning view of the sea. This is the kind of dining experience you secretly hope for every time you walk into a restaurant. Thank you! Also, If they still have it on the menu when you visit, the beef cheeks are an absolute must-try.
Stunning beachside location with creative Greek cuisine full of rich, bold flavours. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Service was excellent, and the chef personally came to greet us! A truly memorable dining experience. Totally recommend it!!!
We went there for lunch and everything was amazing! So delicious! I had the best pasta with shrimps and fish soup! Its a must try. The price is a bit higher but its all worth it!
Best lamb souvlaki in Greece! The beef cheeks were full of flavor, and both desserts we tried — tiramisu and the four chocolates — were absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended!
The food was good but rather pricey. There were interesting and new things for me in the menu. I liked the tarama and the eggplant salad. The fish of the day was very good but the side dish I didn’t like. Very nice sunset view if you go for dinner. The service was also vey good
Luckily, we discovered this hidden gem! 💎 This restaurant has a truly unique way of combining ingredients—you’d never expect them to go together, yet they work perfectly. On top of that, the team is incredibly friendly and attentive. We’re absolutely thrilled and have already visited several times. Our meals can best be described like this: “Oh my God! Delicious! Wow! Mmmmhh” 😄 Huge compliments to the entire team! Warm greetings from the German couple — especially to the sweet German-speaking waitress who could read our wishes before we even said a word! Ps: We have no words for these delicious desserts we got on our last day. Wow!
