La Fontelina

Restaurant
La Fontelina is a stylish beach club restaurant with stunning sea views and a charming thatched-roof pergola, specializing in delectable seafood dishes. Situated right at the water's edge, it offers an array of fresh vegetable creations alongside its seafood offerings. As a lido, it provides easy access to the deep blue waters for a relaxing swim.
La Fontelina is such a unique and relaxing spot in Capri — definitely worth the visit! You can get there by boat or walk about 0.4 miles down a steep path and concrete stairs (be prepared for the climb back up!). The restaurant had great food and friendly service — make sure to book a reservation in advance. At the beach club, service is a bit more laid-back; you’ll need to flag someone down for drinks, which seems pretty typical in Italy, though a bit frustrating at times. That said, the staff was accommodating and the setting is absolutely stunning. A true Capri experience!
Rylee R — Google review
If you ever find yourself in Capri, this restaurant is a must-visit. The atmosphere is simply beautiful, with stunning views all around that make the experience unforgettable. The food is delicious and comes in generous portions, every dish feels fresh and carefully prepared with high-quality ingredients. 🐟🦀🥬 While the prices are on the higher side. A perfect spot for a special meal with an incredible view. 🌅🚤
Bussayaphan S — Google review
Do not come to this beach club. Complete scam. Waited an hour for the water taxi to the beach club. Tried to call to see if they were coming or not and it was busy every single time we called. Once we finally got there, we were told we have to pay €10 a person for the boat we just waited an hour for. When we saw the spot we were assigned, there were not even enough chairs for us. Just thin towels. We had a reservation for 5 people and there were 2 chairs. You do not get to choose where you sit and they do not let you switch spots. I have also attached a picture of the view from our section. We paid thousands of dollars for this beach club and it was the worst beach club experience we had in Italy. The minimum spend here is €190 per person. More if you even want an umbrella. Have never been more disappointed.
Emma S — Google review
From the minute you get a reservation, the excitement begins You are asked to make your way to small marina to catch the dedicated boat taxi to the restaurant €9 pp, lovely ride and worth it When you arrive you walk past the private beach, and secured to the restaurant The trick is get a table on the edge with a view which can be tricky The service was good, the fish tartare, shell fish pasta and the mixed seafood dishes were scrumptious! Views also to die for
Ed B — Google review
My experience at La Fontelina was absolutely unforgettable 🌊🤍. The view of Capri’s deep blue sea is breathtaking, the atmosphere is dreamy, and the service is top-notch. Truly one of the most beautiful beach clubs on the island ✨

Such a wonderful experience. From the vibe, the staff, the water, the food and the drinks our mixed group of singles, couples and kids had the best time. We will be back. Everyone agreed our best meal after four days was at Fontelina. The seafood the pasta the dolce. Exquisite. Our waiter “Rustik””(I butchered that sorry) elevated our meal with his attentiveness, kindness and humor. The mixologist master Vincenzo made incredible cocktails with endearing humility, precision and authenticity (thank you). Everyone was great, but there is one stocky gentlemen whose name escapes me, but he was hustling from umbrella to chair to umbrella taking care of everyone. I hope he sees this because my group really appreciated the valiant effort; grazie. Great time and we all plan to come back. That local snapper will be in my dreams 😃. Ce vediamo.
Curtis B — Google review
This was such a cool place to have lunch and hang out. The food was delicious and you can’t beat the amazing views! The only complaint was I was hoping for a little more background music, as it seemed quite for a beach club. Either way this was an amazing experience and I would recommend coming.
Matthew R — Google review
We walked down to this beach club from the Hotel Punta Tragara and it was a beautiful scenic view on the way down, but quite the task getting back up. I would suggest taking a boat taxi or making sure you have really comfortable shoes for the return trip. Once we were there, it was a beautiful view with the iconic blue and white umbrellas. However, they seated us on an uneven area near a little cliff overlooking the water, and it was hard to get our chairs to balance there. I didn’t feel like the service was very good at our seats for drinks. They were very busy. We ate lunch at the restaurant and had some of the best Caprese raviolis I’ve ever had, but I was underwhelmed by the whole experience there. For me it wasn’t worth the hype.

Restaurant
Nestled on the cliffs of Anacapri, overlooking the electric waters of the Blue Grotto, Restaurant Il Riccio is a renowned destination for seafood lovers. Accessible by a stone staircase leading down to the water, this high-end restaurant at Hotel Capri Palace offers refined Mediterranean dishes and a carefully curated selection of local beverages.
Beautiful place with a fantastic view, exceptional service and delicious food. The rooftop where we waited for our table to be ready is very sophisticated, decorated with Christian Dior items, you can take beautiful pictures there. My favorite part was the “temptation” a room full of delicious desserts. A truly extraordinary experience! A little pricey but you are in Capri and everything it’s pricey!
Vania P — Google review
We had lunch there. The food was good but flat in flavor in my opinion. I’ve been to dozens of Michelin star restaurants in Europe and the USA and elsewhere. Atmosphere was incredible and the views were spectacular.
Patrick M — Google review
We went to Capri for our little honey moon and it was simply magic. Il Riccio Restaurant was simply amazing. It was our first time. Great location. Sea view. Unforgettable. Food was great and staff very kind and polite. Top class!!!
Alessio C — Google review
The restaurant opened at7:30, but due to the bad weather we didn’t get to enjoy the view at all. The food can be extremely bad and good, for example the appetizer lobster taste so good, that even made the main dishes taste awful. The uni pasta is too fishy, and the octopus is way too overcooked that my friend couldn’t eat it.
Weiyang Y — Google review
A Meal to Remember for a Lifetime This was one of those rare dining experiences where everything came together—fresh ingredients, perfect execution, stunning scenery, and a touch of magic. The grilled sea bass was exquisite: perfectly cooked, flaky, and delicately seasoned. The sides — golden roasted potatoes, warm vegetable medley, crisp salad with olives, and sweet tomatoes with basil — were vibrant and full of flavor. The clams, in their delicate broth, added a wonderful coastal touch, paired perfectly with fresh bread. A chilled glass of crisp white wine elevated every bite, perfectly complementing the fresh seafood and sun-kissed flavors of the Mediterranean. Fun, upbeat music set a lively tone, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Sipping wine and cocktails by the sea, with a seagull gliding over the horizon, felt like a perfect summer day frozen in time. Elegant, authentic, and unforgettable — a true Mediterranean gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dining at Il Riccio in Capri is not simply a meal, it is a complete experience that begins long before you sit down at the table. The journey itself is unique: being picked up directly by boat and arriving at the restaurant sets the tone for something truly special. It already feels like you are entering a hidden paradise, where elegance and authenticity blend seamlessly. The setting is breathtaking, perched above the crystal waters of Capri, with views that make you pause and appreciate the beauty of the island. Yet, what impressed me most was not only the scenery, but the way the entire team orchestrates the experience. The service is absolutely impeccable, attentive without ever being intrusive, professional yet warm, always making you feel like a valued guest. As for the cuisine, Il Riccio excels at offering food that is authentic, deeply connected to the traditions of Capri, yet executed with refinement. Every dish carries the freshness of the island and the soul of the sea. The flavors are pure, clean, and perfectly balanced. Nothing feels forced or overcomplicated, this is Italian cuisine at its highest expression, where ingredients are allowed to shine. One of the highlights is how consistent the kitchen is. From seafood to pasta, every plate I tasted reflected craftsmanship and respect for tradition. There is an honesty in the cooking that makes it memorable. Combined with the unique arrival, the atmosphere, and the flawless hospitality, Il Riccio delivers not just dinner, but a moment you will always carry with you. For anyone visiting Capri, this is more than a recommendation, it is an absolute must!!

Overlooking the sea, the restaurant provides a stunning setting, perfect for a memorable meal. The ambiance is serene and luxurious, making it ideal for special occasions or a relaxing lunch by the water. The food stands out with its fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, showcasing the best of Italian cuisine. Each dish is crafted with great attention to detail, from appetizers to desserts, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. The service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who ensure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Their professionalism and knowledge of the menu add to the overall enjoyment. With its prime location, stunning views, and outstanding food, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience by the sea.
Aisha — Google review
A wonderful venue! We started with drinks upstairs in the lounge with cool tunes and stunning views. Staff ushered us to our table at the restaurant in time to get a fabulous table right by the ocean and the enormous view. If you love fresh seafood you will be blown away by the array of every type of fresh seafood on view for you to choose from. Everything about this experience was 5 star- as was the price, but it was well deserved . A must do in Capri!

Da Paolino

Restaurant
Italian restaurant
Da Paolino is a renowned waterfront restaurant in Capri that has become a favorite among celebrities. The restaurant is known for its stylish and swoon-worthy decor, as well as its delicious food. One of the most notable features of Da Paolino is the abundance of lemon trees that form a canopy over the tables in the courtyard, creating an elegant and picturesque dining experience.
De Paolino was a great experience. The restaurant was open during lunchtime hours as it's still not peak season on Capri (We were there in mid April) Though the restaurant's location is slightly hidden, it was actually quite easy to find. When you're there, you feel that you've arrived in Italy. Dining inside lemon groves was very cool. The attention to every single detail was impeccable. The table settings and the staff outfits were all thought out. I highly recommend their shrimp salad with Parmesan cheese and the Vigna di Paola wine paired with the fish baked in salt. It takes a while to cook the fish, but it was totally worth it. While we waited for our food to come out the weather was slightly cool. For our comfort the restaurant provided us with yellow colored blankets which kept us warm and cozy. I would highly recommend this dining experience when visiting Capri.
Yana B — Google review
This is a Must Try in Capri. Simply great. Enjoy the best food under the lemon trees. Romantic and elegant. Make sure to reserve ahead of time. It's crowded and busy, so the service will be slow but acceptable. The experience was outstanding. Make sure to make room for dessert; the dedicated dessert buffet was amazing.
Mohammad N — Google review
Da Paolino in Capri is a magical experience! When we arrived, the lights were still off, but the moment they opened, they welcomed us warmly and began serving right away. The entire team was so kind, helpful, and incredibly fast with the service. Everything we ordered from the menu was absolutely delicious—every bite was a highlight! The dessert corner is a dream come true, with sweets that are truly unforgettable. The setting, the service, the food—it was all perfect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Capri!
Fatma A — Google review
This is probably one of the only positive reviews I can leave for Capri. The service was good — nothing special to highlight, but also nothing negative to say. The staff were professional and polite, and everything was handled smoothly. The food arrived very quickly, which was nice. As for the dishes themselves, I honestly didn’t find the food particularly special. The prices are extremely high — you’re looking at around €50–€70 just for a starter, which feels excessive. The steak was reasonably priced at €45, but the portion of vegetables and fries was tiny (for the price) (not a big deal, since they weren’t great anyway). It came with a delicious red wine sauce I had never tried before — really lovely flavor. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked (I asked for medium but got almost well done), although my friend’s steak — also ordered medium — was perfectly cooked, so I suppose it was just bad luck. Overall, the place is beautiful and the setting under the lemon trees is stunning, but the food doesn’t quite live up to the atmosphere or the price tag. If I could, I’d rate it 3.5 stars — a 3 feels a bit too harsh, but a 4 a bit too generous — so I’ll go with 4 stars.
Jennifer — Google review
Over rated. Too touristy The setting is undeniably charming, dining under lemon trees creates a beautiful, local atmosphere. The waiters, dressed in uniform, are quite efficient and professional. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. It lacked flavor, personality, and any sense of love or care in the preparation. I didn’t feel the soul of the cuisine – something I always look for, especially in Italy. It felt like quantity mattered more than quality. A beautiful place, but the experience didn’t match the expectations.

We went to Capri for our mini honeymoon and it was simply magic. Da Paolino restaurant was simply amazing. It was our first time. Great location. Unforgettable. Food was great and staff very kind and polite. Top class!!!

Dining at Da Paolino was a truly memorable experience! We made reservations in advance and took a taxi from the main Capri plaza — it’s a short walk from where you’re dropped off, and they’re happy to call you a taxi after dinner. We started the evening with drinks at the bar before being seated, which set a great tone. Once seated, we chose a bottle of red wine and had fun picking out our fish and steak directly from the cooler. We ordered both the truffle pasta and the famous lemon pasta — both were excellent, but we’d recommend the lemon for its bold, unique flavor. The whole salted fish and steak were presented and plated tableside, which added to the experience. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. They also offer a stunning dessert room for €30 per plate — we were too full to try it, but it looked absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for a special night out in Capri!
Rylee R — Google review
Nice experience but felt a bit commercialised. Food was good but not that it left us amazed. Staff is friendly and nice, but not that they left and incredible impression like in some other restaurants. The deserts buffet was really cool! And there are details that are cute. All in all I am glad we went here it is a traditional restaurant and it was cool to experience it.

Italian restaurant
Aurora is a renowned restaurant located in a pedestrian alley, offering a mix of truffle pizzas, delicate pastas, and classic seafood dishes. The establishment is frequented by celebrities, with their photos adorning the walls inside and out. It boasts a sleek minimalist interior and outdoor tables along a chic thoroughfare. Known for its iconic pizza all'acqua, Aurora seamlessly blends tradition and innovation in its culinary offerings.
Dining at Aurora was one of the highlights of our time in Capri. The restaurant has a timeless charm — sophisticated yet relaxed — with a lively atmosphere that perfectly reflects the spirit of the island. It’s easy to see why it’s a favorite among both locals and visitors. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was prepared with care and precision, featuring fresh, top-quality ingredients. From the delicate handmade pasta to the perfectly grilled seafood, everything was bursting with flavor. The famous pizza all’acqua lived up to the hype — crisp, light, and unlike anything else we’ve tried. The dessert selection was just as impressive, offering the perfect finish to a fantastic meal. The wine list was also extensive, with excellent regional and Italian labels that complemented the menu beautifully. A special mention must go to Sara, who welcomed us so warmly from the moment we arrived. She handled the seating with grace and professionalism, making us feel immediately comfortable and well looked after. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail set the tone for the rest of the evening. Even though she wasn’t involved in the food service, her role in starting our experience on such a positive note truly stood out and deserves recognition. Aurora is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. With world-class food, elegant surroundings, and welcoming staff like Sara, it captures the essence of Capri in every way. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning on our next visit!
Ahmed A — Google review
Personally wasn't impressed. The staff seemed cold and aloof, and the food was decent but not worth the price. We ordered a dish for sharing, which they somehow misunderstood, and brought out two (at 40+ euros each). There are nicer places on the island.
Amit B — Google review
A little hidden jam for sure! Tucked away in one of the small street. Such a warm service and food was outstanding! Walls decorated with celebrity pics taken there with the restaurant owners…subtle but very cool to see. The cannelloni and Veal Milanese were so good! Make sure to book in advance.
Alex D — Google review
Sparkly spot with good service and fresh food. A bit expensive compared to other places of same caliber but it’s Capri. Not sure about all the hype though. Outside tables left open when restaurant was empty for hours, waiting for someone I suppose. AC blasting inside if you like it cold, lounge across the way very dark. Cool wine cellar downstairs by bathroom.
Deborah L — Google review
Found this place whilst wondering around Capri on our day trip. Staff were friendly and attentive, prices are high compared to a few other places on the island however, the food was very good so didn’t mind. We had the black truffle cacio e pepe pasta and basil & pesto gnocchi along with a limoncello spritz. We finished off with a tiramisu and toasted almond ice cream. All in an all a good experience, tasty food despite the high price tag. Just be prepared for that or ask beforehand if unsure. Would visit again.
Ben T — Google review
We did excellent choice to visit this restaurant…(we saw it the day before and worth it!!!) The staff was perfect and the food amazing Well done guys !!!! See you soon!!!

Probably the oldest restaurant on the Island of Capri. Our experience was one of the best, from Mia, the owner, one of the most professional host and her staff, we were treated like royalty. A must try is their Pizza All'acqua (a registered Trade Mark), along with everything else. Don't miss this restaurant while vacationing in Capri.

Le Grottelle is a unique restaurant located near the Arco Naturale, offering a distinctive setting against limestone rocks. The informal trattoria features a half-cave, half-terrace design with the kitchen situated in a cave at the back. It provides stunning views of the Li Galli islands and serves a variety of dishes including ravioli, local rabbit, and seafood specialties like linguine con gamberetti e rucola.
Hidden gem of Capri!! The restaurant felt really local, the staff is super nice and friendly with great food recommendations. The venue itself is breathtaking! You need to walk to get there but it is a nice walk and definitely worth it. Will come back again for sure!
Paola M — Google review
The food was really good and the prices not too bad for Capri. Unfortunately the head waiter was very rude to me, to the extent when I thought I had personally offended him (I didn't though). That really soured the experience. The view was amazing though.
Emily E — Google review
This is a breathtaking place to relax and lay back out of the Capri city center buzz, and on our way to the Natural Arch, a beautiful walking experience in our visit to the island. The restaurant is that a perfect location to enjoy the natural view and still enjoy a great meal and wine. The staff was very helpful, and even though we had minor issues in the service with compliments, it was an outstanding stop to recharge with a light and savory meal. Their salad and raviolis were just great! The facilities are great for a terrace feel, all about what Capri is about.

Absolutely amazing! The vibe and views were incredible. The fruit, pasta, and dessert were all so fresh and tasty. Highly recommended and well worth the walk!

Without a doubt the best dining experience we have had. If you have the opportunity to dine here, make sure you do it. Absolutely phenomenal! Our waiter Paulo, was wonderful and made our experience at La Grottelle exceptional.
Kate W — Google review
Very nice location - splendid viewing over a cliff - a bit of a walk but less people around. Paolo was hosting us and for sure can be trusted with any kind of recommendation (wine and food) - the stuffed pepperoni and the pasta with rabbit were excellent. And the lemon tarte. For sure one of the best places on Capri - if you can reserve a table. Gracie !
La G — Google review
Such a good place! Great food and amazing service, with a really great Italian atmosphere and breathtaking views. Recommended, especially after a hike! Prices are high as everywhere on Capri
Arsenii K — Google review
Perched on a cliff overlooking a breathtaking bay, this restaurant offers an unparalleled panorama. The iconic Arco Naturale and the stunning Sorrento coast unfold before you, creating a postcard-perfect setting. Ideal for sunny lunches, summer dinners, or simply a coffee or beer on a warm afternoon, it's a haven for soaking up the view. The service is warm and welcoming, and the menu features traditional dishes, with an emphasis on fresh seafood. While the location and view are priceless, the pricing is on the higher side.

Italian restaurant
L'Olivo, situated in the luxurious Capri Palace Hotel, stands out as the only two-Michelin-starred restaurant on the island of Capri. Executive Chef Andrea Migliaccio curates a sophisticated dining experience that pays homage to the island's culinary heritage. The menu showcases exquisite dishes such as blue lobster ravioli and beef fillet with black truffle, each meticulously prepared with top-quality ingredients and presented with artistic flair.
Dining at L’Olivo at Anacapri was nothing short of an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment we stepped into the elegant surroundings of this Michelin-starred restaurant, we were enveloped by a sense of refined luxury and genuine warmth that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern sophistication and island charm, providing a tranquil backdrop to what would become a memorable gastronomic journey. The experience began with a warm welcome from the staff, who immediately made us feel at home. As we were seated, we were introduced to our server, who provided a detailed explanation of the menu. Chef Migliaccio’s passion for his craft is palpable in every dish. His commitment to sourcing the finest local ingredients and transforming them into culinary masterpieces is evident in each bite. Each course was meticulously crafted, with flavors that were both complex and harmonious. The dishes were not just food but a work of art, each beautifully presented and with a story that spoke to the region’s rich culinary heritage. The standout dish was undoubtedly the blue lobster, paired with a delicate citrus emulsion that highlighted the freshness of the sea. Every course was a delightful surprise, showcasing Chef Migliaccio’s creative genius and deep respect for traditional Italian cuisine. The evening was further enhanced by the expertise of Vincenzo Riccio, the sommelier. His knowledge of wine is nothing short of extraordinary, and his ability to pair each course with the perfect wine was truly impressive. Vincenzo guided us through the wine list, which featured a stunning selection of both local and international wines. His recommendations were spot on, each glass perfectly complementing the flavors of the dishes without overpowering them. The service throughout the evening was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile. The team at L’Olivo ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless, from the timing of each course to the seamless wine service. In conclusion, dining at L’Olivo is more than just a meal; it’s an experience that engages all the senses. Chef Andrea Migliaccio’s culinary artistry, combined with the expert wine pairings by Vincenzo Riccio, made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to indulge in some of the finest cuisine Capri has to offer, L’Olivo is a must-visit destination. We left the restaurant not just satisfied but truly inspired by the incredible craftsmanship and passion that goes into every detail.

Dining at L’Olivo was far more than just a meal—it was a refined, elegant experience from start to finish. The service was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever encountered. Every tiny detail was anticipated before we even had to ask, handled with warmth, grace, and precision. The setting is equally unforgettable—gorgeous views that elevate an already incredible culinary journey. Each course was beautifully presented and flawlessly executed, a true reflection of the restaurant’s 2 Michelin stars. If you’re visiting Capri, this is not just a recommendation—it’s a must. L’Olivo sets the gold standard for fine dining.
Eric R — Google review
This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant and unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The service was between good and average depending on who was serving. I chose from the a la carte menu: I had a tomatoe soup for entree - €75 Essentially tasted like blended tomatoes 🙄 I had the black cod for main which was nice - €90. But, unfortunately, I’ve had better elsewhere. My wife was unwell due to some food poisoning the day before so she asked for somwthing very simple. They served her chicken with brocoli and potatoes. The chicken wasn't seasoned, my 8 year old could make something more interesting. The potatoes saturated in butter. Fair enough this wasn't part of their menu but we felt like it was thrown together without any care or consideration. Finally, the seating is a little interesting. Half the restaurant is table and chairs as you might expect. The other half is sofas and armchairs which is quirky but impractical. The sofa is also a 2 seater sofa that could potentially be shared with the next table, and with not a lot of space inbetween. Overall, not overly impressed and wouldn't ever go back.

This is a 2 Michilin star restaurant. We did not try the set menu and we chose from menu. The pasta with lemon is outstanding and highly recommended. The rest of the food is above average but nothing like the pasta with lemon. It was nice that they brought a cake for us as we are celebrating our anniversary. The service and ambience is outstanding. It’s worth it if like Michilin star restaurants.

We had a wonderful dinner here! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was good. However, we are well aware of places that are known for their exclusivity and fame, but coming from a Swiss Chef and a Pastry Chef’s perspective, and having visited other Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, we felt the prices were unfortunately too high for the components and portions of the dishes we received. The pricing felt like a shot in the dark, which caught us off guard in a very unexpected way.

One of the best dining experiences my husband and I have had not only on Capri, but in all of Italy. The live music was an amazing touch, the ambiance of the restaurant and view was perfect, not to mention the obvious: the food. The food was absolutely incredible. We had the tasting menu. The flavors in each dish were well balanced. They accommodated no problem for my being a pescatarian. The portions and spacing of dishes perfect as well ( my husband and I have found sometimes at michelin restaurants we leave a little hungry or the meal was too long- this was not the case here). They even surprised us with an extra dessert as we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. The staff was kind and welcoming. Also I now think every restaurant should have a water menu. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, I would travel back to Capri just to eat here again.
Christine B — Google review
Two star Michelin and well deserved. The food and service were fantastic. We tried the tasting menu and the signature dish was the best thing on it as you’d imagine. Pasta with lemon ricotta and raw shrimps! Everything else was outstanding … it truly was a journey from start to finish.
Hamed A — Google review
Absolutely incredible! One of the best dining experience of my life. We visited on our honeymoon a couple weeks ago and were so impressed. We had high expectations for this two Michelin star establishment and they absolutely blew us away with the quality of food, the staff's hospitality, the delightful ambiance, and their old fashioneds (a must try). The linguine with shrimp was our favorite dish, it literally melts in your mouth, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything. What really made the experience is the restaurant manager Giuseppe went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had our fill of food and wine, even brining out a delicious cake after overhearing we were on honeymoon. Can't recommend this place enough and look forward to visiting again next time we're in Capri.

The Taverna Anema e Core is a popular and classy night club in Capri. It is known for its live music performances and attracts celebrities and other well-known people to its dance floors. The club is open every night, and attracts a mixed crowd of locals and tourists.
The live Music was absolutely fantastic, full of energy and what a talent. Their energy was contagious. If you are in Capri and you want to have a night of fun, dancing and great live music you really should visit this place. Can’t wait to come back next time when I’m in Capri. 🌟

Fun time if you’re willing to spend $$$, but do your research before. We made the mistake of not researching enough and were slapped with a bill for €60/drink…and all we ordered was aperol spritz.
Courtney B — Google review
We had to pay 80 euro entrance and when we got in the vibe was good and the band was doing their thing, what they don’t tell you is that to dance on the dancefloor infront of the stage you have to pay an extra 300 euro otherwise you just stand behind a fence guarded by the guards to look at the people who paid dancing, so it’s more of a theater vibe looking at the party if your not willing to spend 380 euro per person…. Such a scam honestly, shame on these people running it!

For the price paid, the expectations were too high. In reality, the only goal there was to take everything from your pockets. The place was over, overcrowded to 3 times its capacity. I'm not talking about the prices that are generally unreasonable in Capri, unjustifiable, 5-star prices in a no-star environment, and with arrogant service. Maybe it's not their fault and these comments don't matter because the chances of the clientele returning are very small. So if you are thinking and have an extra 500-1000 euros in your pocket, go see a concert of your favorite band, wherever and whoever it may be.
Liridon P — Google review
To be completely honest, the prices here are extremely, extremely high. We each had two cocktails, and the total bill came to €240 — that’s about €40 per drink. Normally, I’d never say this, but in this case: it was worth it. If you’ve read any of my other reviews from Capri, you’ll know that we, unfortunately, had mostly bad experiences everywhere else. I even hesitated to leave reviews at all, because I felt strange writing almost only negative ones. But the truth matters — people deserve to know what to really expect. That said, this place completely changed the tone of our trip. Despite the price, if you can afford it — go. Honestly, just go. The concept is unique, the energy unforgettable. And while the fact that so many celebrities have visited is fun to know, that’s actually the least important thing about it. We didn’t go because of that — in fact, it was simply one of the few places still open that night. But it ended up being the highlight of our weekend. From the moment we walked in, people were already dancing and singing, and the place had only been open for about half an hour. I’ve never seen anything like it — such a lively, joyful atmosphere right from the start. The live band was incredible — they played a mix of English songs and traditional Neapolitan music. Normally I’m not a big fan of music in languages I don’t understand, but you could feel the emotion in every word, even without knowing what was being said. The musicians were so talented and genuine. The staff were amazing, and even the other guests were warm, friendly, and kind — something we sadly didn’t experience much elsewhere in Capri. After a weekend full of disappointments, these few hours completely made up for it all. I have nothing bad to say — not even about the price. Because this night was truly memorable. If you’re in Capri — go to Anema e Core. It’s not just a place; it’s an experience. ❤️ 1 note though - we went end of season (October) on a Sunday evening

You know the scammers in Rome outside of the Coliseum?- this is Capri’s version you need to avoid as a tourist! In Capri for summer vacation, stopped here because it’s the ONLY club in capri, told us it’s $80 euro per entry+a you're required to buy a “drink” ($50-60 basic shot or cocktail), also an extra $300 euro to dance on the “dance floor” with your $60 aperol spritz. If you are a geriatric billionaire on vacation with $500 spare change for an hour of weird vibes and overpriced drinks this is the place for you! If you are under 40 and want to drink and listen to music for less than you spent on a hotel for a night per person, you are out of luck (what is annoying is that this seems predatory based on supply & demand, there are literally no other “night-clubs” in Capri, literally a single other basic club with slightly expensive pricing on this island would probably kill.) We got pretty terrible hospitality at many places here anyways but since most people are coming here to relax and enjoy nights out- it’s best to plan around the fact that night life is pretty non existent here & bonus if you are American and also not White, you will get the same level of hospitality as your local 7 eleven (probably worse). If I could rate this 0/5 stars I would!

Welcome to Capri’s most expensive zoo — except you’re the exhibit. We thought we were buying into a fun night out for €80, but little did we know the real show was watching rich people dance while the rest of us stood behind a barrier like unpaid extras in a bad music video. Want to actually dance? That’ll be another €300 please — because apparently moving your legs in front of a stage counts as a luxury upgrade in Capri. Otherwise, you just stand there like you’re at some sort of nightclub safari, observing the VIPs in their natural habitat while security guards glare at you for even thinking about stepping forward. So unless your dream night out involves paying to be treated like a second-class citizen at a fake concert you’re not allowed to join, save your money and grab a bottle of limoncello instead. Way more fun, and no fences involved. Shameful, hilarious, and honestly deserves a Netflix documentary called Clubbing: The Scam Edition. On a serious note. Disgusting place.

Italian restaurant
Lo Sfizio is a beloved restaurant in Capri, located in the residential neighborhood of Tiberio. It's known for its delicious Neapolitan pizzas with tender, thick crusts and affordable prices. In addition to pizza, they offer pasta dishes like paccheri totani and scialatielli con frutti di mare. The restaurant provides a friendly environment with a beautiful outdoor piazza and delightful staff.
We had an amazing dinner at Lo Sfizio — one of our favorite meals in Capri! It’s tucked away in a quiet area, which made for a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. We started with buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes (so fresh!), followed by delicious pizza and pasta. Don’t skip dessert — and the limoncello shots were the perfect way to end the night. The service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! We made a reservation via email.

I came here 6 years ago and loved it. Six years later, still wonderful. Lucia was the very very best! She made sure all allergies were taken care of and was so kind, lovely, and considerate. I got the orata, which was light and delicious and filling. Family got marinara pizza and branzino, both of which were also flavorful. The cherry tomato salad was AMAZING. I’m obsessed with tomatoes and this place does not disappoint!

Excellent lunch! Took what the staff recommended and was not disappointed. The seafood was delicious. The wine recommended of similar quality. Perhaps the best part was however the location, you are not in Capri town and that is a big plus in our book.
Jonas N — Google review
I had one of the best pizzas here. The service is great having skilled waiters. As an example of atention to detail, they will open the menu for you before handing it to you. It's a small gesture that costs nothing but improves the experience and makes a difference. I'll definitelly come here again as I really enjoyed the entire experience.

Best authentic Italian meal - we wish we had time to eat here again! Had the bruschetta (so fresh) the mussels (amazing flavor and huge portion), the pizza and the sausage eggplant pasta & WOW. Everything was incredible flavor. Highly recommends

Beautifully homemade pasta with southern flavour. Tasted like my nonna’s back in the days. Loved every bite and moment. Thanks to the staff and the chef. The Tiramisu was beyond.

Amazing food and service! We were thinking of not coming here as it was 15 minutes walk from the town. Glad that we came here. It was really nice experience, food and service. Enjoyed the stuffed pizza, lemon sponge cake and lemoncello shots! Service was also first class!

Lovely evening meal at Lo Sfizio! We ordered Octopus antipasti dish, a special for the day of shrimp croquettes and a sausage pasta dish. Also for dessert we went for the crème caramel and the lemon cake. All portion sizes were amazing and the food was incredible! Also the Limoncello shot in between courses was an added bonus! I will say we went back the night after and ordered other dishes which were at the same price point but the portion size and the quality in our opinion wasn’t quite as good. But overall amazing family restaurant with quality service and high quality foods!

Pescheria Le Botteghe is a renowned seafood restaurant in Capri, conveniently located near the Piazzetta di Capri. The charming eatery offers an array of fresh seafood options, including raw fish, oysters, tuna burgers, and fried squid with anchovies. The restaurant's intimate atmosphere is enhanced by its simple and understated decor. Visitors can enjoy a variety of Mediterranean-style fish dishes while seated at marble tables or by the window for some people-watching.
Love the place. One of the best place to go on the island. The food is amazing. The host recommended cooking method for the fish ( I forgot the name) but it was awesome. Kept the freshness of the fish while adding some flavors to it. Fried calamari and shrimps were also good. Raw food section is one of the best on island. There are only a few seatings in the restaurant, better make a reservation.

This was our favorite meal during our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The fish was delicious and fresh. It’s a small place so I certainly recommend making a reservation. We got the Capriburger with polpo, but he raw seafood salad, tuna tartare and fried calamari. We loved every dish

THIS IS A MUST VISIT! This has to be the best restaurant in all of Capri! Make sure you visit for a beautiful meal that feels like fine dinning in a causal atmosphere. Honestly was the highlight dinner experience of my whole trip to Capri. The owner is wonderful and will make sure you have an amazing time/ meal. I believe it is a fish market in the early morning that then becomes a restaurant which makes the food that much better because everything is incredibly fresh! Me and my girlfriend ordered the carpaccio of the day (octopus), the fried cod, the mussels in a spicy broth, the stuffed calamari, and finished off with the cherry compote cake (that I forgot to take a photo of before we started) it was all amazing. Make sure to pair your dishes with a wine and enjoy!

Small but nice restaurant, fantastic food. I love every single dishes. The calamari is tender and crispy. The special fresh made spaghetti is interesting. The staff is vey helpful, don’t for get to ask for the special of the day.

100% authentic Italian pescheria. I loved that they have only a few tables where you can sit, rest and have your delicious meal. Truly recommended

Salmon tartar and tuna orecchiette were amazing. The octopus burger was nothing i’ve seen before, very special taste (my brother loved it). Great service.

Found this place through some research before visiting Capri for the day. What a find! Amazing seafood, wine and lovely service. Would recommend booking as we were really lucky to get a table in 5 mins time as the restaurant is small (in a really lovely way!) Thank you.

We ordered a calamari fritti with french fries. It was really expensive, which is ok according to the location, but it was made in advance and it came already cold. Its priced as a fancy restaurant, but it’s more like a buffet with all the smells.

Buonocore Gelateria Pasticceria Gastronomia e Tavola Calda is a renowned gelato destination in Capri, serving delectable sweet treats since 1950. Run by the same family for over 70 years, this establishment is known for its commitment to creating exceptional flavors that keep customers coming back for more. The aroma of freshly made waffle cones draws visitors in, reminiscent of a scene from a cartoon.
Another day, another gelato! We stopped at Buonocore Gelateria during our Perillo tour, and it was fantastic. On a hot day, it was the perfect time for a refreshing treat. I went with a friend's recommendation and tried the nocciola, paired with pistachio—and it was insanely good. Best of all, it was served on a freshly made cone, which made it even more delicious.

Hands down the best gelato on the island! Sometimes there is a queue, but it moves very fast! Beware: it’s cash only! 🫶🏽Make sure you have some cash on you, because you definitely don’t wanna miss this one!

This is our favorite gelateria in the world, not to mention the best pastries. We spent a week in Capri and had breakfasts and gelato everyday here. Giovanna, Alessandra, Ale’s young son, Maria, Ale’s mother, and the entire staff and family made us feel super welcome! Giovanna even went out of her way to make reservations for us. We love you and we’ll be back soon!!!

Unbelievable spot! Great coffee, pastries and seems so authentic. Go early to avoid queues. Pistachini (no photo unfortunately) were amazing!!

the BEST. this is the most authentic and best gelato I have ever had. I tasted no other ingredients other than the one listed and everything they used was fresh and organic. It was not those creamy and heavy ones but rather a super light, refreshing flavor and texture which was really great for the heat this summer. I would definitely go there again.

Gelato with lemon and pistachio was perfect, waffles were even still warm when we got them! Pay inside in advance if you don’t have cash
Arsenii K — Google review
Such an unpleasant experience. Bought ice cream, chicken cutlet and Coke Zero but they only allowed seatings for person who bought chicken cutlet and Coke Zero. Ice cream cannot be eaten inside the store at all even though it’s from the same store. Chicken cutlet tasted dry and ice cream was just normal. Overrated and will not return!

This was one of my favorite places we visited in Capri. The gelato was some of the best I’ve ever had and pastries brought me right back to my nonna’s house, with that same homemade warmth and sweetness. If you’re in Capri and looking for an authentic treat, stop here. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy something delicious and truly memorable.

Transportation in the Island of Capri

Getting around the Island of Capri can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Naples International Airport

International airport
Airport
Naples International Airport, also known as Naples Capodichino Airport, is the main airport in Campania offering both domestic and international flights. The airport features duty-free shops, rental car services, and convenient city bus links. From Naples, travelers can easily access Rome by train for a day trip or explore the captivating attractions within the region of Campania.
Naples Airport is a small but efficient airport that offers a surprising number of daily flights to destinations around the world on a variety of airlines. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate—you can get from one part of the airport to another quickly, and going through immigration is usually fast and smooth. While it doesn’t have all the amenities you might find at a larger international airport, the essentials are covered. Signage is generally clear, and if you do need assistance, the staff are helpful and approachable. Overall, a convenient and pleasant airport experience.
Eric F — Google review
Over the past three years, I’ve traveled several times from and to Naples International Airport. Overall, I would describe it as a medium-sized airport with fairly average accessibility. The journey from the city center typically takes about 20 minutes by taxi, or between 30 to 40 minutes by bus, depending on traffic conditions. One of the airport’s strengths is its layout—navigating from the entrance to the check-in desks is straightforward and doesn’t require much walking, which is convenient, especially if you're carrying luggage. However, one notable drawback is the signage. Directions to the gates can be confusing, particularly because many of them are located on the first or second floors, and the signs aren’t always clearly marked. In terms of amenities, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes scattered throughout the airport. Most are located before the check-in area, before security, and also within the gate zones. However, unlike many modern airports, I couldn’t find any access to free tap water, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, food and drink prices are relatively reasonable. For instance, a bottle of water costs around €2, which is quite affordable compared to other European airports. One area where the airport could improve is customer service. It’s not easy to find staff members to ask for help, and information desks are not always visible or accessible. Despite this, my overall experience at the airport—both for arrivals and departures—has been generally positive. For example, today it took me just 40 minutes to get from check-in through security and to my gate, which is quite efficient for an airport of this size. All things considered, I’d say Naples Airport offers a decent travel experience, with a few areas that could benefit from better organization and clearer signage.
Islam S — Google review
This airport is well organized and lovely. It is clean, with lots of food, drink, and shopping options, and we love that they have couches in the waiting areas for maximum comfort and that work great for taking a nap. I am happy with the design of the airport and that everything is close together.
Mateja R — Google review
A clean and bright terminal. No too large, either. Lots of food and shopping options. You should enjoy flying through this terminal. Nice cafe is just outside the Terminal building, and taxi/pick up areas are only a few, convenient steps away
Darrell B — Google review
Absolutely the worst airport we have ever been too. People with kids be AWARE!!!! This airport kicks everyone out at 12am regardless if you have kids or not. The airlines need to give warning about this ridiculous policy at this “international airport”. I am waiting with my kids outside waiting for them to reopen, not even any setups outside where people can opt to rest while waiting. People were even sleeping under a playground setup due to the lack of organization with this airport.
Gabriela M — Google review
This airport should be avoided at all costs. The last bus to the airport leaves the station at 11:58 p.m., and the first bus in the morning leaves at 5 a.m., so to catch our 6 a.m. flight, we had to take the night bus. The airport closes from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for “security reasons” without specifying on its website the law that dictates this rule. The only place to rest is on the uncovered benches outside, so if it rains, you have to book a room at the hotel next door, which offers overnight accommodation. Naples is truly a world apart, in a very negative way.
Maria — Google review
im giving it one star because i cant give 0. i have never in my life had such a horrible experience with an airport. My flight was in the middle of the night and because there was no public transport then i came in the evening. However the airport closes. AND PEOPLE GET KICKED OUT TO THE STREET. It’s October, its cold, it was raining, and the airport employees literally kicked everyone out. There were older people, babies, in the cold and rain at 1am, with no bathroom or place to get food or water near. People huddled together for warmth. it was horrific. I am never EVER coming back to this hell of a place
Daniela N — Google review
The worst airport experience. Naples Airport closes from 22:30 to 03:30 and kicks everyone out. No toilets, no heating, and nothing to eat or drink. They claim it’s for “security” and because there are no night flights, but my flight was at 6AM, so I was supposed to be there by 3AM as recommended however the airport was locked. The last bus from the city to the airport is at 23:58, so we arrived early thinking we could wait inside. Instead, we were stuck outside in the cold with no services. Taxis are very expensive, so there’s no affordable way to arrive later.
