Hands down the best gelato on the island! Sometimes there is a queue, but it moves very fast! Beware: it’s cash only! 🫶🏽Make sure you have some cash on you, because you definitely don’t wanna miss this one!

This is our favorite gelateria in the world, not to mention the best pastries. We spent a week in Capri and had breakfasts and gelato everyday here. Giovanna, Alessandra, Ale’s young son, Maria, Ale’s mother, and the entire staff and family made us feel super welcome! Giovanna even went out of her way to make reservations for us. We love you and we’ll be back soon!!!

Unbelievable spot! Great coffee, pastries and seems so authentic. Go early to avoid queues. Pistachini (no photo unfortunately) were amazing!!

the BEST. this is the most authentic and best gelato I have ever had. I tasted no other ingredients other than the one listed and everything they used was fresh and organic. It was not those creamy and heavy ones but rather a super light, refreshing flavor and texture which was really great for the heat this summer. I would definitely go there again.

Such an unpleasant experience. Bought ice cream, chicken cutlet and Coke Zero but they only allowed seatings for person who bought chicken cutlet and Coke Zero. Ice cream cannot be eaten inside the store at all even though it’s from the same store. Chicken cutlet tasted dry and ice cream was just normal. Overrated and will not return!

This was one of my favorite places we visited in Capri. The gelato was some of the best I’ve ever had and pastries brought me right back to my nonna’s house, with that same homemade warmth and sweetness. If you’re in Capri and looking for an authentic treat, stop here. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy something delicious and truly memorable.

We only had gelatos to go because sitting cost double😜. €3.50 for the piccolo (smallest cone or cup) but unlike other gelaterias, only 1 flavor allowed for the small. Service was quick but not warm, beautiful outside seating right on the square facing the sea

We love coming in the off season because the crowds are down, and this was one of the places open for lunch and we actually enjoyed it. We ordered lunch, bruscetta, and parma and melon. Everything tasted good and the service was prompt. The atmosphere was nice, covered on a cooler rainy day. The highlight was the lemon sorbets, so delicious and even on a cool early spring day it made us all happy!

It’s the first spot you see when you get off the funicular, and because of that, it’s always packed. Don’t make the mistake of stopping here! If I had read the reviews beforehand, I would have never sat down. The staff is incredibly rude, the service is a joke. We ordered a dessert and a cappuccino - honestly, it was such a waste of money. I’m attaching a photo of the cappuccino here as a warning, this is what you get. Oh, and a fun fact: if you sit outside to enjoy your dessert, they charge you double the price. Total rip-off. Just skip this place, you deserve better!

We had some sweets, gelato and coffee here today and it was good. You have to appreciate the fact that they charge approximately double of usual prices if you wish to take a seat to have the food which I don't think is good practice and goes towards the lower rating for the cafe. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food or the service but €40 for coffee and cake in Italy is a bit ludicrous.

Contrary to many reviews on here, we absolutely loved our time here. We ordered 3 beers at €11 each and our ticket came out to exactly €33. Beers were perfect with a great head on them from the tap. The little pizzas, pastry, sandwiches, nuts and chips were all complimentary and just came out with the beers. We had nothing but praise for this place and would absolutely recommend it for getting a drink at.

We had a very unpleasant experience here. We came in planning to have a light lunch and ordered some coffee while we looked at the menu. Since the café also sells gelato, we got one small gelato while waiting and the waiter suddenly started yelling at us in Italian, saying we had to drink our coffee inside because we were eating gelato. He made a huge scene over something so minor. It left such a bad impression that we decided not to stay for lunch at all. Very rude service — definitely would not recommend!

We do not see any other review before come in here and it is the worst decissuon ever. The prizes were incredible high more if you eat something in the terrace. They try to rip-off us. We demand a desert in they smaller version that we see in the vitrin inside, but thay told us that there are just big size (which wasa false, we saw the small one). Moreover, they aware us that they prize were almost the double outside due to the terrace and when webask for a dessert that cost 3€, they try to charge us 11€ (4 times it prizes). Do not come here

10 Stars to BAR GROTTA AZZURRA 1970 IN ANACAPRI. The food is 100% with quality and taste, very delicious. I highly recommend this Bar to every person, we will back to Capri just to taste their food in Anacapri. The people here made us feel at home and is very friendly.

After reaching the top of Capri in the intense heat, we were exhausted and needed something refreshing. It was the best lemon sorbet I’ve ever had in my life.

Went for late lunch. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating, which was also clean. Full bar and coffee options. Awesome presentation on everything (desserts, gelato, and deli items); but that’s where the positives end. Watch what you order as prices aren’t marked. Gelato was good with good amount of options (prices marked). Service, was not welcoming. First out of many stops this was experienced. Noticed when locals came in, the attitude of the staff member sparked up. All in all, okay experience.

The best: the pastries. They look amazing. If you dont want to pay A LOT, PLEASE drink your coffee standing up at the bar don't sit at a table. The attention is good, they are helpful and speak English. My friend had a pasta bolognesa that was already prepared, just to heat, taste was not that good and paid 12.5€. I would recommend it just for pastries and coffee.

Beware, charged me an extra 3 euros for takeaway pizza. Was charged 12.50 instead of 9.50. Pizza was also tiny, watery and was inauthentic. Not made by Italians.

Order orange juice with lemon slush big size 7 euro. Also available with small size 5 euro, Middian size 6 euro. After visiting Giarini di Augusto. Taste very fresh especially during the hot weather.

A nicely decorated store with all of those lemons everywhere, hidden under a green roof, located on the way to the gardens. We took lemon and orange slush or granita if you want to call it by the sign. The lemon one was a mix of sour and sweet, the orange one a mix of sweet and bitter. Both of them were good with each of us having their favorite. They come in 3 sizes, we went for the big ones and are quite pricey that's why one star less.

Their lemon slush is the best you can find in Capri, and the sorbete was pretty good as well! Is perfect to combine with a sunny day at the Capri roads.

This is where the locals told us to go to get a lemon slushy which I believe they call a lemon granita , and it was so deliciously refreshing and fresh. Located by itself in one of the most beautiful in picture of spots in Capri, you could walk into this little park area and enjoy your free while overlooking one of the most famous views of the two rocks of Capri.

Bought there ice cream and asked for cornetto without cream for my baby, they refused to give me one, even when I wanted to pay for it. I had to buy it for 5 euro like normal ice cream.

Extremely basic and flavorless - a tourist trap. To the point the owner will rudely try to stop you if he seems you trying to take a picture of the stand or any of the gelatos (not sure why).

Capri Crema Café is a cute spot and looks like it has a lot to offer, but our visit must have fallen during an off hour when the staff seemed tired and ready to wrap up for the day. The gelato we tried was good, and from the looks of the place, it seems like they also offer crepes and other treats. Nothing particularly stood out to us during our visit, but I imagine the experience could be quite different at a busier or more lively time of day.

A great place to sit and people watch on the street. Sweets and coffee were very good

We loved the gelato here! The yoghurt date flavor was excellent. They have several interesting flavors including those with protein powder. They also have the usual flavors - and the strawberry was the best my daughter has had anywhere in Italy!

We had a pistachio filled pastry here that was absolutely delicious! Was not able to find something similarly amazing as this anywhere else! It makes my mouth water just thinking of it 😍 The gnocchi a la sorrentina tasted dry and a little stale. Good ambience and kind staff. Highly recommend visiting this cafe for coffee, pastries, and cakes! For main dishes I'd head somewhere else.

This place was a surprise. Only after checking the menu we discovered that they have also delicious food and cocktails. I think we had the best hamburger in the world here. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. Wine selection and great cocktails with an alcoholic selection as well. The price was great as well. We get burgers drinks and two cocktails for less than 50 euros. A gem! Can't wait to go back when I get a chance!

Unfriendly & slow service. EUR12 Salad served was half the size of advertised & when questioned they argued and argued (even though I showed them the picture) before very reluctantly increasing it. Other food was ok but not amazing. Ordered special bread sandwich & was given plain bread (didn’t bother telling them). Do not recommend.

Nice place for tasty breakfast in Anacapri! Yummy paninis, bruschettas, croissant and orange juice! Staff is nice and friendly. Also very good coffee. Waiting time is a bit longer and I really don’t like use of plastic glasses but that’s a thing in Capri apparently cause it happened in other places as well..

This place is absolutely amazing. Food, service, drinks and the prices are top tier. 10/10 i would recommend this place to anyone it is a small local place with a great atmosphere. My wife and I came all the way from Boca Raton where we have lots of great places for food and drinks. This place would knock most of them out the water. Wish i came across this place my first day here and not the day before i was leaving!

Honestly one of the best local Italian restaurants/cafés I’ve been, essentially here on Capri/Anacapri. This is what this island needs more of. Quick, nothing exclusive, but at the same time original cute and cozy looking. The food is also perfect, especially the burgers. I know you don’t eat burgers in Italy but theses ones have an Italian twist to them. Highly recommend!

Great chic dessert bar with great pastry and gelsto options. Lots of locals stop by for compari spritz and espresso. Very friendly shop owner that lives here all year long.

The best: babà. Coffee and pastries are certainly good. Unfortunately, prices are high if you are a tourist and even more if you sit down at a table. So, be aware. Attention of the people is nice. I paid 10€ for 1 americano, 1 capuccino and 1 mini babà. In the morning, they will not have salty options.

Terrible cappuccino - they should learn how to properly make frothed up milk , Espresso is bad even for Italian standards. They use extremely burnt coffee beans - hence the coffee leaves bad aftertaste.

They got so many flabours so its hard to pick them… they are delicious 🤤 Its a little bit expensive but this is one of the two gellaterias in the island. Super busy and the ladies were slow… so not a great combination.

The best chocolate & orange bits gelato I’ve had in Italy. The lemon sorbet has the most intense flavor of the 3 lemon varieties. The cherry gelato was amazing so is the chocolate all the flavors and creamy texture are simply yum yum yum!

4 euros for a medium cup with 2 flavors or 3.50 euros for a small cone with 2 flavors. The flavors were hit or miss, we got a tiramisu and a Capri special. Capri special was good but tiramisu tasted like coffee (which may have been the intent)

Come to this gelateria for freshly made waffle cones, extremely thin and crispy. The gelato itself was perfectly smooth and creamy, however the flavors were a bit bland and indistinguishable. The only flavor that really packed a punch and was delicious was the pistacchio gelato. Further, the prices are on the higher end: - 3€ / 3.50€ for 1 flavor (cup/cone) - 4€ / 4.50€ for 2 flavors (cup/cone) - 5€ for 3 flavors (cup)

Icecream was good although expensive (5 euros). Passionfruit flavour was very creamy alright strawberry was icy & not the best.

Excellent ice cream in Anacapri. Lemon and Capri cake are the top two flavors highly recommend. Very reasonable prices when compared to the madness of the island. The owner is polite and with positive energy. Highly recommend a stop by.

A bit hidden from the main street, simple yet amazing pastries! The cookie with creme and cherries was super delicious

After a stop at San Michele to fortify your soul, stop here to fortify your stomach on a hot afternoon in Anacapri. Delicious gelato, friendly staff and, if you can, takeaway a pastry for later. Good thing this was on a side-street and not in a main piazza otherwise the line would have been out the door and down the street!

Wow, what an amazing pastry shop! First off I had the absolute best cannoli I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve traveled all over the world and tried cannolis but nothing compared to this one. What I appreciate most about this place is the man working there, I assume the owner. He is kind beyond words. He didn’t have change for me so he told me to take the pastry free of charge, such a kind heart he has to offer that, especially knowing im a tourist and could easily afford it. His prices are incomparable, the most inexpensive pastries in all of Italy! Be sure to stop here for delicious, handmade, fresh cannolis and pastries! Please go support this man and his delicious pastries!

The lemon sorbet was excellent and, in my opinion, an essential part of any trip to the Amalfi Coast or Capri. It was also very well chilled, which made it much easier to enjoy in the high temperatures, as it didn’t melt right away. The portion was really okay for the price, as the lemon was hollowed out and filled – unlike at another place (in Amalfi) where we paid more and didn’t get that. One portion was more than enough for the two of us to share.

I got a standard cup of ice-cream for €5 And picked 2 flavours Limone and Mango sorbet. Which is vegan and dairy free! Which was really good since I'm allergic to milk. Very happy

This was our favorite gelato and lemon slush in Italy. We came every day in Capri, we got hooked! One of the best places we ate! The shop is charming and the service is so personable and friendly.

For 7 euro we got here excellent lemon sorbet served in a frozen lemon.

I got the babà al limone and it was AMAZING!! The baba had just the right amount of moisture and the lemon crème was heavenly. I’d highly recommend trying them out. I’d definitely come back.

The Tiramisu was simply delicious and Unforgettable. They have a good variety of desserts. The pistachio baba was good but the rum was a bit too strong for my taste and hence it wasn't overly sweet.
