Nestled in the historic city of its namesake, the Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Center is a beautiful and unique destination that masterfully bridges the gap between ancient epics and modern scientific curiosity. It is more than just a museum; it’s a captivating experience, perfect for a family day out, brimming with fun activities and enriching knowledge. The center’s main attraction is the breathtaking Panorama, a visual and auditory spectacle dedicated to the Mahabharat war. Inside a circular building, a magnificent panoramic painting and a dramatic sound-and-light narration bring the climactic battle of Kurukshetra to life. You don’t just learn about the war; you feel transported to the battlefield, gaining a profound understanding of this pivotal moment in ancient Indian culture and history. Complementing this journey into the past is the Science Center, which is a guaranteed hit with kids. Packed with interactive exhibits and working models, it makes complex principles of physics and technology accessible and incredibly fun. Children can engage with hands-on activities that spark curiosity and make learning an adventure. Beyond the indoor exhibits, the complex offers a lovely backyard park. Here, children can enjoy swings and, to their delight, often spot playful rabbits hopping around. This green space provides a perfect setting to relax and is a good place to click some beautiful pictures, with the unique architecture of the center serving as a fantastic backdrop. Whether you are a history buff, a science enthusiast, or a parent looking for an engaging outing, the Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Center delivers. It’s a place where you can spend quality time, where every corner offers something new to discover, making it an unforgettable and highly recommended experience for all ages.

Someone has put a genuine effort into collecting crafts, artworks and manuscripts that do reflect the richness of the Krishna tradition in India - as well as local archaeological efforts - unfortunately, it's barely curated and poorly captioned like every Indian museum.

Brahma Sarovar, located in Thanesar, is a significant Hindu water pool surrounded by sculptures and temples. It is a historic site that has been mentioned by the 12th-century scholar Al Beruni in his memoirs about India. The sarovar attracts pilgrims, especially during solar eclipses when it is believed that taking a dip in its waters can absolve one of all sins.
A place with religious significance. It is believed that Lord Brahma performed a yajna here in which all demigods participated and since then this place is called Brahma Sarovar. A well maintained place. Lot of locals come here for morning and evening walks. There is a Hanuman ji temple outside the premise and Shiva temple inside along with Maa Katyayni temple and some other temples too. Very peaceful and serene place. In the evenings aarti is performed at the sarovar, just like Ganga aarti. We couldn’t attend the full aarti as a huge storm suddenly brewed up in Kurukshetra at the time of aarti. There are many incidents marked on the pillars which have sone relevance to Kurukshetra. I loved the place and it’s upkeep.

I had the chance to visit Brahma Sarovar in January this year, and it was truly a beautiful and peaceful experience. The place holds immense historical and spiritual significance, yet it’s surprisingly less known among tourists. The energy here is something you feel the moment you step in. It’s serene, scenic, and deeply rooted in India’s legacy. I really hope more efforts are made to promote this hidden gem—India needs to know more about treasures like this!

Bhramasarovar in Haryana Thanesar is a serene oasis nestled in the heart of a bustling city. The moment you step into this space, you feel a strong positive vibe that lifts your spirits and soothes your mind. The well-kept surroundings and gentle sounds of water create an inviting atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely walk or a quiet moment on a bench. Whether you’re looking to clear your thoughts or simply enjoy nature, Bhramasarovar offers a perfect escape from the daily grind. In the late afternoon, the setting sun casts a warm glow over the water, enhancing the natural beauty of the area and providing a soothing visual treat. As night falls, well-designed lighting adds a magical touch, illuminating the landscape without overpowering its calming essence. The play of light and shadow makes the sarovar a great place for evening strolls or relaxed gatherings. Overall, Bhramasarovar is a gem in Thanesar, offering both locals and visitors a peaceful retreat with a positive, uplifting energy throughout the day and night.

A beautiful place and main attraction in Kurukshetra. It is surrounded by ghats and the land of Kurukshetra is considered holy as the war of Mahabharata was fought here. It’s calm, well-maintained and a really good place for a stroll. Would definitely recommend to visit if you’re in the city.

Brahma Sarovar is an ancient, sacred, man-made water tank in Kurukshetra, Haryana, India, associated with Lord Brahma and the Hindu faith. It is a significant pilgrimage site where devotees take holy dips for spiritual purification and which hosts the annual Gita Jayanti festival, commemorating the birth of the Bhagavad Gita. The area is also significant for its connection to the epic Mahabharata and offers a serene, peaceful environment with a traditional evening aarti ceremony.
Puppala V — Google review
Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra is an absolutely breathtaking place, blending natural beauty with spiritual tranquility. The vastness of the area is the first thing that strikes you—spanning across acres of land, it offers a serene and peaceful environment perfect for relaxation and reflection. The large ponds that fill the Sarovar are equally impressive, but dirty waters. One of the most memorable experiences here is the evening Aarti. The atmosphere during the Aarti is nothing short of magical—the sounds of devotional chants and the fragrance of incense fill the air, while the setting sun casts a golden hue over the entire area. It's a truly spiritual experience that brings a deep sense of peace to anyone who takes part in it. The sight of graceful swans gliding across the water adds an extra layer of charm to the place. Watching them move in harmony with the water is both mesmerizing and soothing. Whether you're a spiritual seeker, nature lover, or simply looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, Brahma Sarovar is the perfect destination. The combination of its natural beauty, spiritual energy, and the peaceful ambiance makes Brahma Sarovar a must-visit when in Kurukshetra. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a meaningful and peaceful experience!

Shri Devikoop Bhadrakali Shaktipeeth Temple in Kurukshetra is a Hindu temple dedicated to Bhadrakali, a form of Shakti and a former consort of Shiva. It is one of the fifty-one shakti pithas of India, believed to be the place where the right ankle of Sati fell. The temple features a marble ankle that commemorates this mythological event.
Visiting this temple was a spiritually enriching and historically profound experience. Nestled in the sacred land of Kurukshetra, where Lord Krishna delivered the Bhagavad Gita, this temple stands as one of the 51 revered Shakti Peethas of India. According to legend, it is the site where the anklet of Goddess Sati fell, making it a powerful center of divine feminine energy. The atmosphere within the temple is both serene and charged with devotion. The main sanctum houses the idol of Maa Bhadrakali, a fierce and protective form of the Mother Goddess. What makes this temple especially intriguing is the symbolic representation of the fallen anklet, a rare relic that connects devotees to the mythological roots of the Shakti Peetha tradition. Architecturally, the temple is modest yet vibrant, with walls echoing centuries of faith. On the upper floor, one can see striking depictions of Lord Shiva carrying Sati, Vishnu with his Sudarshan Chakra, and various other deities—each reinforcing the spiritual narrative behind the temple’s origin. Devotees can also visit adjacent shrines to Lord Ganesha, Goddess Saraswati, and Gayatri Devi, making it a holistic pilgrimage site. Practical facilities like nearby dharamshalas, clean premises, and even online pooja bookings show how well the temple balances tradition with modern needs. Whether you're a devotee seeking blessings or a traveler interested in India's spiritual heritage, this temple offers a profound connection to both mythology and divinity.

This is one of the 52 Sakti peeths of India as mentioned at the mandir gate. So this temple is very holy and sacred place for all Hindus and devotees of Maata. Joust outside of this Mandir is a place for Shani deo ji Enough parking space for devotees.

Devikoop Temple in Kurukshetra is truly amazing and holds a special place as one of the oldest and most revered temples in the region. Steeped in history and spirituality, the temple attracts countless devotees and visitors who come to witness its divine aura and timeless architecture. The sanctity of the place, combined with its rich cultural and mythological significance, makes it a sacred destination for people seeking peace, blessings, and a connection to ancient traditions. Over the years, the temple has stood as a symbol of devotion and faith, continuing to inspire awe and reverence among all who visit.
Ankush S — Google review
Also known as Shri Devi Koop Temple, it is dedicated to Maa Bhadrakali, one of the eight forms of Goddess Kali. Being among the 51 Shakti Peeths, the temple resonates with the story of Goddess Sati. It is believed that the Goddess, angered by her father's insult towards her and Lord Shiva, immolated herself during a yagya performed by King Daksha. In grief, Lord Shiva wandered the cosmos with her body until Lord Vishnu intervened, slicing her body into 51 parts with his Sudarshan Chakra. Of these parts, Sati's right ankle fell in the well that was right here. Exactly on this site, inside the temple, there is a massive white marble lotus now, said to hold Ma Sati's ankle—a potent symbol of the Shakti Peeth. Devotees believe that visiting the temple on Saturdays and worshiping the Goddess brings fruit. It’s time for you to plan a visit now!

About this place it is quite impressive for 2-5 hours of time, it's has few wild animals in their habitat like Lion, Tigers, Hippo, Crocodile, Fox, Wild dog, Deer, Hyena, Monkeys & some types of birds etc.
Vinod D — Google review
Only few animals are here. Maintenance has not been done properly, animal area is not clean, water is not clean and grasses have overgrown...zoo really needs proper maintenance.

A small zoo, ideal for spending about an hour exploring all the exhibits. The main attractions include a lion and a hippopotamus.

Pipli Mini Zoo, while not as large as some of the major zoos, offers a charming and intimate experience with a variety of animals and birds. Located in a serene setting, it provides an opportunity for visitors to observe animals up close in a more relaxed environment. The zoo often features a collection of native and exotic species, which may include birds, reptiles, and mammals.A visit to Pipli Mini Zoo can be a delightful outing, especially for families with young children. The smaller size of the zoo makes it manageable to explore in a few hours, and the atmosphere is usually calm and educational. Many visitors appreciate the opportunity to learn about the animals and their habitats, often with informational displays or guided tours.
Lucky B — Google review
That's a nearest zoo to Karnal, so we use to visit there sometimes. Well there aren't much animals but still one or two tigers are center of attraction here. You'll get to see crocodile as well and few amazing birds too. That's a nice place and tickets are very cheap. I'll surely recommend this place. 5 out of 5 for sure.
Rishabh D — Google review
Nice place, very economical, can spend 30-40 mins here.

A good place to visit for short picnic...just about 1 km in diameter, you can visit in about 30-60 minutes. 60 minutes are enough. Not all animals are there but tiger and lion are there. So go and watch...

Pipli Mini Zoo, located in the city of Pipli in the northern Indian state of Haryana, is a small yet charming zoo that offers visitors a chance to see a variety of animals up close. Despite its small size, the zoo is well-maintained and provides a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. In this review, I will share my impressions of Pipli Mini Zoo based on my personal experience. The first thing that struck me about Pipli Mini Zoo was its clean and well-maintained environment. The zoo is situated amidst greenery, and the natural surroundings provide a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The animals are housed in spacious enclosures, and their living conditions are monitored closely to ensure their well-being. The zoo is home to a variety of animals, including monkeys, deer, rabbits, peacocks, and parrots. Although the collection of animals is not extensive, it was a delight to see them up close and observe their behavior. The zoo also has a small pond where visitors can see fish and turtles. One of the standout features of Pipli Mini Zoo is its focus on education and conservation. The zoo has a team of knowledgeable staff who are always willing to answer visitors' questions and provide information about the animals. The zoo also organizes educational programs and events to create awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation. Another aspect of Pipli Mini Zoo that impressed me was the range of activities and facilities available for visitors. The zoo has a small play area for children, where they can enjoy rides and games. There are also several food stalls and souvenir shops where visitors can buy snacks and mementos. However, there are a few areas where the zoo could improve. The signage and information boards in the zoo are limited, and it would be helpful to have more detailed information about the animals and their habitats. Additionally, some of the enclosures could benefit from more enrichment activities to keep the animals engaged and active. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Pipli Mini Zoo. The zoo's focus on education and conservation, along with its clean environment and range of activities, make it an excellent choice for a short visit with family and friends. The staff's dedication and passion for wildlife conservation are evident in the care and attention given to the animals. I would recommend a visit to Pipli Mini Zoo to anyone who is interested in seeing a variety of animals up close in a peaceful and pleasant environment.

Just ok place. Had many major brand showroom there like Louis Philippe, can Hussain,Zara, trends, apple,Peter England, woodland and some others brands. But no variety of products and the price much higher than the other stores I had visited. The building has 3 floors but the upper 2 are empty. There was no shops or anything. Not in a category of mall. Just a small showroom you can say it.

The Kessel mall in Kurukshetra area is a big mall, however the shops are less and the availability of food items and brands is scarce, however good place to hangout in the city but need real attention from mall management to improve mall condition and add more food joint brands so that the walkin should improve more. Parking is another problem, but according to the city’s situation the mall should have much people coming to hangout.

Believed to be the permanent abode of Lord Vishnu, Sannihit Sarovar is situated at a distance of 3 kms. from Kurukshetra on Pehowa Road. It is supposed that entire range of Tirthas assembles here on the day of Amavasya and as per the legends, if a man performs Shradhs at the time of solar eclipse and takes bath in this tank, he acquires the fruit of 1000 Ashwamedh sacrifices. At the time of solar eclipse, pilgrims gather at this holy spot. Interestingly visitors to this place can know about their ancestors from the Purohits or locally known as Pandas, who for ages have been the record keepers of the pilgrims coming from various parts of the country. Sikh Gurus too have visited this holy place from time to time.

There are many options in Domino's. Most of the time they are offering good combos and you can customize your pizzas to make them more delicious. We ordered cheese garlic bread and Corn Cheese Regular pizza. The garlic breads have an appropriate amount of cheese and include capsicum but tastes is very different...overall the pizza was great!!! 😋.

I have tried Domino's in various cities and it is the worst one, idk how another branch of the domino's have combo and various offers it also has the same but only on their screen + AC are not working at billing counter +and there's sitting in basement as well but they won't serve you there, you will have to go and pick your order from there + they don't have any buzzer or alarm or nothing like which can show you your order is prepared you will have to guess that your order will be prepared in that much time. In my case my guess wasn't correct, I got the pizza after 3 attempts and hygiene you can see in the pic no one is there to clean the desks🫠.
Jatin S — Google review
The food was undoubtedly good as it is expected from Domino's. But I want to point out that the hygiene is one of the most important aspects that should be taken care of. Here I don't think there is anyone available for cleaning after the customer leaves. I had visited here multiple times and found the food outlet in almost the same condition. Nobody cleans the table. I think 2 trained people are required to properly clean the table. I am posting the photos of the level of cleanliness here and what you people are expecting in return "compliments". No one wants to eat at a place which is so untidy even if the food tastes really good.

Visiting the Sheikh Chilli’s Tomb in Thanesar, Kurukshetra, is like stepping back into a bygone era of Mughal elegance and spiritual introspection. As I approached the complex’s ancient sandstone gateway, the warm hues of the stones glowed softly under the morning sun, immediately setting a reflective, almost meditative mood. The sprawling gardens, meticulously laid out in the traditional Charbagh style, offered vibrant bursts of marigolds and roses, their scent mingling pleasantly with the earthy aroma rising from the dew-kissed pathways. The focal point—the mausoleum itself—stands on a slightly elevated plinth, its domed roof and arched colonnades exemplifying classic Mughal architecture. The finely carved jali screens let shafts of light dance across the marble façade, creating a mesmerizing play of shadow and illumination inside the sanctum. Though centuries old, the structure remains remarkably well-preserved, a testament to the skilled craftsmen who originally conceived it and the caretakers who maintain it today. Inside, the hushed atmosphere encourages quiet contemplation. The cenotaph of Sheikh Chilli—a renowned Sufi saint and scholar—lies at the center, draped in simple white cloth, symbolizing purity and humility. Nearby, an interpretive museum houses rare manuscripts, coins, and everyday objects from the Mughal period, providing valuable context for the tomb’s historical significance. Local guides, friendly and knowledgeable, are eager to share legends of Sheikh Chilli’s wit and wisdom, weaving folklore into the architectural narrative. A brief walk through the adjacent Madrasa ruins deepens one’s appreciation for the site’s role as a center of learning. Overall, Sheikh Chilli’s Tomb is not merely a tourist attraction but a serene oasis of history, spirituality, and art—ideal for history buffs, architecture enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat from the bustle of modern life.

Sheikh Chilli’s Tomb is a peaceful historical site with beautiful Mughal architecture. The well-maintained gardens and calm surroundings make it a relaxing visit. The tomb itself is simple yet elegant, with intricate carvings and structure. It holds historical and spiritual significance, especially for those interested in Sufi heritage. The attached madrasa and museum offer interesting insights into the era. It’s not as crowded as other tourist spots, which adds to its charm. Perfect for history lovers and architecture enthusiasts alike. Cleanliness and upkeep are impressive. There are local guides available for a deeper understanding. A hidden gem in Kurukshetra worth exploring.

Here one manager Rakesh is from punjab, last night I came here to eat pizza, he didn't attend me properly, his focus is more on sending his customers to dominoz ,staff like him bringing down the value of pizza hut, like this people shouldn't be here... I m a customer of pizza hut but employees n atmosphere is not good for class customers... I suggest you guys not to come here.
S V — Google review
There was a polyethylene piece in my pizza 😏😏😞😞 You guys should be very careful while making pizza, you are playing with people’s health And the email I’d they give for personal message, they never give reply from there, poor and third class customer service
Deep N — Google review
We went to this Pizza Hut after a long. It has been three years when we preferred to go to Pizza Hut instead of Domino's at the same place. What we noticed was the crust of Pizza Hut was better than of Domino's. Even Garlic bread sticks and cheesy dip tasted different. Today also the Garlic breadsticks and cheesy dip was good. Potato crunches is also a good option to order. Lemonade drinks are also good.
